- And the editing software activates
the front end rear facing
camera at the same time.
So let me know if this is what you like.
If you want me to do this
kind of thing in the future,
remember to subscribe, hit
the little bell next to it,
and smash that Like button.
See you next time.
That sucked.
God, how long are we gonna be stuck here?
What the fuck is that?
No, we're stopped here at the, there's a-
You can see the train to across-
No, no, no, no.
I swear to God there was like a,
I don't know, a guy like-
(train humming)
Guys I swear to God.
It was like, can you see that,
it was like lookin' right,
I mean like right there.
There's no one-
Why are we stopped?
(door clicking open)
(train humming)
(person screaming)
(static humming)
- Kind of like a bang, like this...
(hand banging surface)
- [Dad] Oh yeah?
- Yeah.
- [Dad] Okay, well, I don't
see anything out here.
- [Kid] Nothing above either?
- [Dad] Above?
Nope, nothing's on the roof.
(crickets chirping)
(masked kid roaring)
Oh my God!
(kids giggling)
(static buzzing)
- Okay, so I am doing this post.
Can you guys hear that?
(static buzzing)
When this whole thing
started, you know, like I was,
I guess doing it like everybody
else, obviously, you know,
probably too many
quarantini's or whatever.
And so after about like
two or three weeks,
in to this thing, the shutdown,
I started to feel, you know, ill.
I thought maybe it was ya know, the virus.
I heard this, I heard a sound.
(static buzzing)
I opened the door and
there was nobody there.
And like I know that I heard
someone knock on the door.
When I opened the door,
and I swear to God,
this is going to sound so fuckin' crazy.
But I felt like,
I felt like something came in.
Not like a breeze of air, or a gust of-
This sounds so crazy.
Just weird, went past me.
A couple of days or so,
and then I actually
heard the knocking again.
But this time it was, it was inside.
(static buzzing)
This is my first house and I
was really excited about it.
And then like right before
the shutdown happened,
I was just getting ready to buy furniture.
So like there's nothing-
I've just been sitting and sleeping
on this one futon, right?
And so I was going to
like decorate my house.
And so now I'm thinking, oh my God, like,
do I have like rats or something?
I called my doctor and I
couldn't even get a call back.
And so, you know, I told
them on their voicemail
that I was having strange symptoms
and I wasn't feeling well.
And I was starting to maybe, you know,
like hear the things because
the knocking was getting-
The knocking was getting
longer and louder.
And now it was happening in the same room
where I would be sitting or sleeping.
There is something in my house with me
and it's making noises.
It is knocking and I can feel it.
(static buzzing)
(woman screaming)
(static buzzing)
(mechanical humming)
(static buzzing)
- Hey superstar.
- Hey babe, what's up?
- What are you doing?
- I'm still in Florida, still here.
It's like California, but
except like really shitty.
(Lisa laughing)
I do have some potentially
not so great news.
- Uh-oh, what's wrong?
- So they're like
shutting down production.
They did like the whole testing thing.
That was the picture I sent you.
And I'm actually, I'm positive,
I tested positive for this thing.
Right now they're not
really sure what that means.
Nobody really knows as
far as production goes.
So they're, it's not just me though.
There was like six or seven crew members.
Most of the cast, the
director of episode two.
So they're telling us that,
I mean, the bad part is,
we're like quarantining
for like two weeks.
So they're telling us like 14 days,
on the 15th day, they're
going to retest us.
So that's like, I'm
stuck here even longer.
Like they're gonna, they're
still going to pay us though.
Like I'm still getting paid.
Which means here's the bright
side of it, silver lining,
when I get back, Taco
Bell dinner, you and I,
'cause I'm getting paid
the big bucks babe.
- Oh man, we are really rich man.
(Lisa laughing)
Oh man, thank you.
- It's a silver lining.
- I really appreciate that.
- I know it sucks.
'Cause I was-
- Yeah it does.
- I was ready to come home and like,
- I wish you could come home.
- I was ready to come
home in like eight days
after we were finished
shooting the second episode,
but we're not even finished
with the first one.
(Lisa sighing)
And they're just saying like 14 days.
And so I'm like stuck here.
It'll give me,
it'll actually give me time to
like practice my accent for,
for Anchor.
You know?
- For Anchor?
- Yeah, my big villain line, you know,
when I was like, sink all of those boats!
It's very like Pirates of the
Caribbean, don't you think?
- Oh yeah, no that's great.
- Yeah?
You like the accent?
No, not so much?
- I mean, what kind of
accent are you thinking?
Like was that it, right there,
are you locked on that one?
- I've been working with a
dialect coach, on set, yeah.
- Are you guys going to keep like
working the next two weeks?
- I'm not gonna do it again then, fine.
Oh, also let me send you,
I'm going to send it to you right now.
They did-
You know how they have a
comic for Dive, the show?
They have a comic book,
- Yes.
It's like issue 23.
My character Anchor, the
one with a great accent.
- Did you get that?
- Here it is, I'm gonna
send it to you right now.
Look at that.
- Oh, I'm so excited.
- Look at that, issue 23 volume two.
That's me.
They did it based on me.
(Lisa laughing and cheering)
- It looks so good!
- So good.
- You are a fucking star!
- I'm your star.
- You're a star now.
- That's crazy.
- Yeah.
- So stay on my good side.
- I'm so excited for you.
- Not only will you get
to hang out with a star,
you'll get to go to
Taco Bell with the star.
- We get to go to Taco Bell
and have a Taco Bell dinner.
- They gave us masks.
Do you have, do you have a mask yet?
- Yeah, look, hold on I'll
go get mine, I'll show you.
- Mine's like a real doctors mask,
production gave 'em to us.
- Yeah, I don't know.
Mines cloth.
I don't even, hold on.
- I play a doctor.
- It's all jankity.
- No, it's actually Anchor, the villain.
(Lisa laughing)
I think my accent just changed.
It's so Irish now.
- Right!
Are you going to figure out which one
you're going to actually land on?
Maybe your dialect coach
can help with that one.
- Maybe that's the only line
I'm going to do in an accident.
Just to throw people off.
(Lisa laughing)
- Just that one.
- Just that one line.
- Just keep it simple.
So mines this and it like, you
know, it goes over da-da-da.
It's fine.
- You look sexy in that.
- Oh thank you.
It matches my outfit too.
I've been working out too, see?
- Shit!
- Ha-ha!
(Lisa clapping)
- What are you doing to me, babe?
- Yeah, I got you.
- I'm like 25 hundred miles away,
and now I got like blue
balls for the next 14 days.
- I mean hey, you won't be away long.
And then when you come back,
it's just going to be great.
- Maybe I'll just walk
back during quarantine.
- Hey, I will meet you halfway.
- All right, where would that be?
- Yeah.
- Like somewhere in like middle of Texas?
- I think so, I think it would be.
- All right.
- I think it would be.
We could probably go see Avery.
- Oh God, what is she up to?
- Yeah
- No nevermind I don't care.
(Lisa laughing)
Sorry.
(static buzzing)
- No, I will.
I'll be safe, you be safe.
You're the one who's-
- Hold on, hold on,
somebody's at the door.
- Okay.
Who is that?
- That was weird.
- Who is, aren't you supposed to be like-
- It was nobody.
- Quarantining?
It's nobody's at your door?
- Yeah nobody, I'm serious.
It's like the fifth time it's
happened the past couple days.
It's weird.
I think it's like,
'cause this complex
they have me staying in,
there's like kids and
stuff that live here,
so I imagine it's them, I don't know.
I'm going to talk to the manager probably.
See if there's like security
cameras or something.
No, it's just stupid kids.
It's nobody, promise.
(Lisa clears throat)
- Yeah, alright.
- Hey so I have one request,
because I miss you so much
and you look so great.
- Oh my fucking God.
- Can you like-
- No you're not.
- Put like a little, let's call
it an audition video for me?
(Lisa laughing)
And send it to me?
Come on.
(Lisa laughing)
Come on.
Who can resist this?
- Okay.
- This face, huh?
- You know what?
Because you're positive
and I know you're going to be at home.
- It would make me feel better.
- I will make you feel better.
I got you, don't worry.
It's going to be great.
It's going to be a 10 out of 10 I promise.
- Perfect, all right.
- I'm going to hold you too it.
- I'll set the whole mood and everything.
I got you.
- I'm gonna hold you to it.
- Alright, don't worry about it.
- All right babe, so I'm
going to got find out
what they're doing for dinner tonight.
'Cause I don't even know
how I'm going to eat, so.
- All right.
Well hopefully you figure
out who was at your door.
- I hope so too.
Make that video, make the video.
- All right, well, I'll
talk to you later babe.
- All right babe, love you.
- I will, all right bye.
Bye. Love you too.
Hi babe.
So.
(Lisa laughing)
I'm not nervous, anyway.
Grab your wine and your lotion
and whatever else that you may need,
so that you can have a
good time with me, cheers!
I know how much that you like my legs.
And I just wanted to do a
little something for you
to let you know that I appreciate you.
And I hope that you feel better.
(knocking on door)
What time is it?
What's-?
I don't know, did you-?
Did you, did you send me something?
Did you send me something,
'cause you knew I was going
to be doing your video tonight
and you wanted me to put
on something special?
(knocking on door)
Okay, well I guess they're
not gonna leave it out there.
(Lisa sighing)
(water sloshing)
All right.
(static buzzing)
What the fuck?
(loud knocking on door)
(Lisa screaming)
Oh my God.
Yeah, just leave it there.
(knocking on door)
(Lisa screaming)
Oh my God!
(Lisa exclaiming)
Dude seriously?
What the fuck, just leave it on the-
(door swinging open)
(distant upbeat music)
(static buzzing)
(distant upbeat music)
That was fuckin' weird.
I literally got a knife to protect myself.
'Cause the fucking banging
on my fuckin' door.
(door clicking shut)
(lock clicking)
(loud knocking on door)
(Lisa screaming)
- Oh my God!
(pounding on door)
(loud pounding on doors and windows)
What the fuck?
Dude that felt-
(Lisa breathing heavily)
What the fuck?
(lock clicking open)
(door opening)
(distant upbeat music)
(door clicking shut)
(Lisa sighing)
(door clicking shut)
- All right, so-
(knife clattering)
(Lisa laughing exasperated)
Whew, that was weird.
All right, brush it off, brush it off.
We're just gonna, we're
gonna do this again.
I know that I heard something.
(load knocking on door)
(Lisa screaming)
Oh my-!
(Lisa breathing heavily)
I have a knife!
And I swear to-
I will fuckin' call the cops!
Get out of my house!
(Lisa breathing heavily)
Okay.
Okay.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
(Lisa laughing breathlessly)
What the fuck.
(Lisa taking slow deep breaths)
(window clicking shut)
(Lisa taking slow deep breaths)
Okay, I don't know what that was.
I don't know what that was.
Okay.
(water sloshing)
Okay.
Okay so-
(Lisa clearing throat)
I don't know what that was.
And it kinda creeped me out.
I don't know.
I locked myself in the bathroom.
(Lisa laughing)
I don't know.
I don't know what that was,
maybe I just drank too much wine?
Ya know, I just miss you.
And I hope that watching me shave
and other things that
I'm going to do later,
will just like put you ya know, at ease
and put you in a better
mood and like make you-
(door rattling)
(Lisa gasping)
(door slowly creaking open)
(static buzzing)
Oh my god.
(door creaking open)
(Lisa breathing shakily)
(static buzzing)
(computer chiming)
- Hey!
(Lisa breathing heavily)
- Hey.
- What is wrong with you?
- Oh hey.
Hey, I dunno.
I dunno, dude.
I don't know, I was, I was, I was,
I was in the bath.
I was, I was in the bathtub.
I was, I was making a video for Austin
and then I dunno, there
was, there was a knocking
and I thought like I don't know,
I went to the door of course,
to go like answer the knock.
And then it was just like, it was banging,
it was banging, it was banging.
And then I opened the door, right?
And I don't know, it felt weird.
And then I closed the door
and I think everything's fine,
then there's like banging
inside of the entire,
like, just like in the walls.
It's like, it's in the room.
I don't-
- What are you talking about?
- I don't know, I don't know.
I have no idea.
So I, I'm running through the house,
closing all the doors and
like locking all the windows,
making sure, and there's a window.
There's a window that's open.
And I know that I left no windows open,
because I'm alone in the house.
That's not smart.
That's not smart.
There's a window open.
- Okay but why were you locking
yourself in the bathroom,
first of all?
- I come back to the bathroom-
Dude, I'm, I'm literally in the back.
I back to the bathroom because I'm like,
okay, everything's fine.
The knocking all stopped, right?
And then the knocking starts
pounding on my door again.
Right?
And then I'm like in the
bathroom with the knife,
ready to like defend myself.
- A knife, what?
What are you doing?
- 'Cause somebody is like
rattling at the door.
Yes!
Yes, and then my door, my door opens dude,
and I, oh my-
I don't even, I don't even, I don't.
I have, I locked, I locked,
I locked my bathroom door,
and my door is opening
- Okay, but why did you lock
yourself in the bathroom
when nobody's in your house, first of all?
What were you doing in the bathroom?
- Because somebody was in my house!
Somebody was in my house!
Somebody was in my house!
And I don't know who was in my house.
- Lisa, okay, what were
you doing in the bathroom?
- Nobody's in the house.
I was, I was, I was just making a video.
I was making a video for Austin.
I don't know.
I didn't-
I'm really freaked out.
I have no idea.
- Okay wait, let's go
back to this video part.
You're making a video for
Austin being freaked out?
He gets off on this?
I'm confused.
(Avery laughing)
Honey were you doin'
a little sippy, sippy?
A little drinky, drinking
before you got in the tub?
- Dude.
- [Avery] What were you doing?
- That's not what this is.
That's not what this is.
This is a legitimate scare, okay?
You're making jokes, I
was legitimately scared.
I had a knife.
- I'm scared.
I don't know what you were
doing in the bathroom.
- I was ready to stab somebody!
I was ready to stab-
I was about to fight for
my life, you have no idea.
- Okay tell me about the video.
What were you doing in the video?
Do-do-do-doo-da-do.
What were you doing?
(Avery laughing)
What were you doing?
(Avery laughing)
- It was a whole ambiance,
like I had candles, and like-
(Avery laughing)
- Dude there's like chat rooms about this.
This is legit.
- What do you mean there's
chat rooms about this?
- I'm gonna send this to
you so you can watch it.
- This is just somebody being stupid.
This is serious.
(Lisa laughing)
This is so serious.
- The wind blows things open.
You probably have old pipes.
And if you're playing music
while you're sexy dancing,
the bass probably-
I'm just saying, these
are logical explanations,
but there are people online
saying they're hearing things.
I'm just saying like, when
you're not feeling good,
your mind kind of-
Just watch the videos.
- Yeah
- That's all I'm saying.
- Yeah, maybe-
- Stop shaving your legs
and running around the house
with a knife, first of all.
- I won't, I will, yeah.
(static buzzing)
All right, well, I love you.
- I love you too.
- I'll talk to you later.
I'm going to go call him.
- Okay bye.
- Bye babe.
- Muah!
- Check the house again, and there was,
I mean there was nothing.
The window was open.
I don't know.
I mean, I have the,
I actually have the footage for it,
that I'm actually going
to send it to you now
because I took the footage
as it was happening.
It was so-
- And you didn't leave
a window open earlier?
'Cause like you never do.
- No.
- So that's like the weird thing for me.
- No.
Cause you never leave that window open.
- No, nothing was open.
I ran through the house before
and made sure that everything
was locked, everything.
- I'm so sorry, wow.
(Lisa sighing)
- How are you feeling?
- This is the first day where
it's like a little weird,
you know, like a little like lethargic,
but I'll be fine.
I have a thought and I think
like this seems like something
that Blaine would kind of be behind.
This seems like a stunt
that he would pull,
you know, it's been-
- I don't think so.
If Blaine was doing this,
we wouldn't have to guess
at Blaine is doing this.
You know?
- I just feel that like, you know,
I want you to call the
cops and file a report.
The number one, we just
need to get this on record.
And you know, if this happens again,
tonight or any night, like immediately,
I want you to call the
cops and then call me.
Like, don't even give it a second thought,
don't go investigate.
You, stay in the room, lock the door
and call them and then call me.
- I don't think that a human did this.
I mean, you know?
- That a human wasn't
making like the noises?
- I don't even know what the cops can do.
I don't think so.
- Like you think it like
an animal or something,
or it's just like
something in the structure?
- I honestly do not know, but
the way that this was going,
to be able to unlock a locked door
and to disappear and to not be there.
And then to start at the end,
and it sounds like you're
coming from every wall.
I don't-
(Lisa sighing heavily)
I'm scared.
(engine humming)
(engine humming)
(wind blowing)
(kids chattering)
- Do you think we'll be safe here?
- [Dad] You can't be serious, are you?
- [Child] I'm serious.
- [Dad] We got this RV
hoping you get away from it.
I'm sorry, oh geez.
Let me go.
(static buzzing)
- Guys, I'm trying to sleep.
(static buzzing)
- [Dad] Nothin' outside guys.
Shh, you're gonna wake mom, ssh.
Let me look outside.
(door creaking open)
(crickets chirping)
There's nothing out here.
What are you hearing?
I don't hear it.
- [Child] We heard like a knocking dad.
- [Dad] What?
- [Child] We hear like a knockin'.
- [Dad] Like before?
- [Child] Mmhmm, do you
think it's gonna get us?
- [Dad] I don't.
(loud banging on door)
(static buzzing)
(distant knocking on wall)
(child knocking on wall)
- [Dad] I think it's over that way.
(distant knocking on wall)
(kids knocking on wall)
(distant knocking on wall)
- Where is it?
(knocking on wall)
Who is it?
(static buzzing)
- What is that??
Do you hear that?
- [Man] I did.
(distant knocking)
Where is that?
(door sliding open)
(distant knocking on wall)
(banging on wall)
(loud banging on wall)
- [Woman] Somethings knocking,
what's that knocking?
(knocking on wall)
(static buzzing)
- He should be calling in
the next couple minutes,
or something.
- Good, okay, so I watched all the video,
every single one of them
I watched them like three times.
And it's a hundred percent him.
It's Blaine.
I don't know this guy, but
I know these kind of guys
and it's been a pattern with
him for over a year now.
So when we talk to the cop,
I want that to be the first
thing that you mentioned
that it's your ex that's doing this
because he's just trying to fuck with you.
He's trying to fuck with us.
And so this needs to get on record.
It needs to go in the report immediately.
That he's the one, because I want them to,
I want them to go put a stop to this.
I want them to like, bring
the hammer down on this.
(computer sounding)
- Actually, you know,
he's calling in right now,
so I'm gonna switch over
and then I'm gonna put you on mute too.
So just one second, alright?
- Don't mute, don't mute-
- I'm switching over bye.
(computer dings)
Hi, can you hear me?
- Yes, I can hi Lisa.
So I understand you had
a little bit of a scare
the other night.
- It was a little bit more
than a little bit, but yeah,
something like that.
I was on the phone with
my boyfriend, Austin.
He got a weird knock on his door
and then I got the same
weird knock at my door
and it started like outside of the house.
I went to go check it.
Of course, no one was there.
I opened the door, I checked outside.
Nobody was there.
I closed the door and the knocking starts
in the house,
in the walls.
It kinda sounded like it
was coming from everywhere
and like no particular pinpoint-
- Let me cut you off and
stopped you for one second.
So you and Austin, your boyfriend,
had knocking at your
doors at the same time?
- No, his happened a
couple of hours before mine
when I was on the phone with him.
- Okay, and all right, so
he obviously wasn't home,
but was anybody else at home with you,
another roommate, a
family member, a friend?
Or do you live alone?
- No, I don't live alone.
I live with my boyfriend, but
he is in Florida right now.
Shooting for-
- And what about neighbors?
Did you talk happen to talk
to any of the neighbors
the next day or that evening
and ask them if maybe they heard something
or noticed anybody outside your house?
- I did not.
- You did not, okay.
Okay, so did you happen to
know or notice, excuse me,
anything that went missing
or anything that seems out
of place since this happened?
- There was a window that was open.
And I know for a fact
that I checked every
single window in the house,
every door in the house,
I locked everything.
- But nothing went missing.
So you don't think it was a break in?
- No, I don't think it was a break in.
I'm not sure, honestly, what
any of this is, to be honest.
I don't know.
- Think you happened to know anyone
or have an idea or suspicion of somebody
that might play a trick on
you or might want to scare you
or might come around the
house to check on you or-
- Do I know anyone who would do that?
- Or an X or something that
maybe has some bad intentions
or a friend or anybody, anybody,
any person of interest that might,
you would think would
do something like this
come knocking on your doors
in the middle of the night?
- No, there is no one that I
personally think would do this.
- Okay.
- To me.
- And over the last couple
days before or after,
have you noticed anybody
suspicious around your place
or in your neighborhood?
- No, sir.
- No.
- No, sir.
- And did you happen to be using any drugs
or alcohol that evening?
- I do take medication.
Just something to kind of calm me down,
help my nerves a little bit.
And I, you know,
I think I drank a quarter
of a glass of wine or-
- Okay, so just-
- Yeah, but I didn't take
them at the same time, so.
- Okay, so just a little wine
and a little over the counter
medication, nothing crazy.
And lastly, what about
cameras or recordings
or any kind of security
footage or somethin' like that?
- I do have recordings, I have recordings.
Yes, I recorded it on my
phone and I can definitely,
I can definitely send these to you.
- Sure.
Why don't you, why don't
you go ahead and do that.
You have my contact
information, you have my email,
you have this number, as
well as my cell phone,
feel free to reach out anytime,
but make sure you send
over those recordings.
I'll take a look at them and-
- Definitely.
- Yeah.
Sounds like you had a
little scare, you know,
we live in the big city too,
and there's lots of banging and noise
and crazy things that
happened throughout the nights
and listen, send me what you got.
Okay?
I'll take a look at it
and I'll get back to you
if there's anything I
think I can follow up on
or be of any kind of help with,
and again, feel free
to call me or reach out
if you remember anything else
or if you have any kind of problems again,
but until then just be safe.
And hopefully we don't have
to talk about this again.
And this was just a one night thing.
Yeah?
- Yes.
- All right, Lisa.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
(computer dings)
- Hello?
- Yeah.
- Hey, can you hear me?
- Yeah, I heard everything.
- Yeah.
- So do you want to walk me
through your thought process,
why you didn't mention Blaine?
(Lisa sighing)
I asked you one thing.
And I would've mentioned Blaine,
had you not put me on mute, oddly.
But he, not only did
you not mention Blaine,
you said there is no one,
that you think that would have done this.
So just walk me through
your thought process here,
because I asked you one thing
and that I wanted that on record.
So now I guess I'm going to
have to call this guy back
and get this on the record
or you're gonna have to call him back
because I just don't understand.
(Austin coughing)
I don't understand.
- You don't sound too good.
Maybe you should calm down a little bit.
- I'm fine, I'm fine, I just-
- Okay.
- Tell me why you don't think it's Blaine.
- Well the detective asked me
do I think that someone
personally would do this to me
and I don't think Blaine would
because Blaine isn't in the country.
So it's kind of hard
for Blaine to do that,
If he's not here.
- How do you know that?
Have you been talking to him?
- No, I have not been talking to him,
but I did check his Instagram.
- Then how do you know?
- Oh, so you guys are like
social media buddies still?
You're still clinging to that?
(Lisa laughing)
- Really?
- Yeah, really.
- Am I still claiming to that?
No, I'm not.
I searched for his name on Instagram,
in the search bar to see if
it could potentially be him,
because I kind of figured
that you would sit here
and make this argument with me about it.
But it's not him, because
he's not in the country.
So that's why I didn't say
anything to the detective
because that's just
going to start some stuff
that I don't want to start with him.
- Okay.
(Austin sniffling)
- I mean I can send it to you
if you would like me to, so that you can,
I guess believe me, since you
think something's going on.
- No, I'm not-
This is not about not trusting you, okay?
(Austin sniffling)
I just, I'm not trying
to pick a fight, babe.
I'm just, I'm frustrated
because I'm stuck here in this
place and I should be there.
I should be there with you, you know?
- [Lisa] Yeah, you should.
- I should be the one taking care of this.
Okay but I can't, we discussed this.
I can't right now.
(Austin sniffling)
And you know, I'm just,
I'm asking you a few
things to help me be there,
which is like, you know,
you doing the right thing in this report.
So it's just, I'm frustrated.
- I get it.
- And I'm not trying to pick a fight,
this is not about that.
And I-
Shit, unfortunately, I got to go,
I've got this production call
and they're supposed to give us an update.
We have a checkup tomorrow,
(Austin clearing throat)
and I'm hoping that we'll
have some sort of news
and I might be coming home
sooner rather than later.
And then, I'll take care
of all of this, okay?
So please, it's not about a fight.
It's just, I'm really irritated, okay?
- No I get it.
- But let's not forget.
You did have knocks at your door too,
so that'd be kind of difficult
for Blaine to do both.
- Okay, not related, but
let's not get into that.
We'll talk about it later, okay?
Not related.
- All right.
- All right.
We good, we okay?
- Yup.
- All right, talk to you later babe.
- Who do you think you are?!
- What is it with
the male ego and jealousy,
I don't understand.
They think that like, we're-
- I don't get it.
- We're like secretly trying
to like, just, I don't know,
whatever, they're so weird about that.
- Like what do you think I'm doing?
And then he got mad
because I told him that,
that I checked Blaine's Instagram
and then he was like, oh, so
you guys are still talking?
I'm like, dude, no, I
don't even follow him.
But like, I can type his name in
and see if he's in the country.
Which he's not, so he can't be doing this.
I don't know.
Austin was just being stupid.
Like, and then he got mad and then left.
(static buzzing)
- So I Googled it and looked
up a couple of things.
'Cause you know, me and
my freaking Nancy Drew.
- Yeah.
- Okay.
(both women laughing)
But there are apparently like
other people with the virus
that are hearing this stuff.
I don't know if it's like hallucinations
because of like when, you
know, when you get a fever,
sometimes you don't, you're off?
But there there's like,
there's a lot of people saying
that they had the same
things happen to them
and there's like chat rooms and stuff.
And so I emailed one of the guys in there
and he emailed me back.
- Oh, okay.
- Yeah and he was talking about it.
So I'm going to send it to
you because I don't know.
Maybe it'll help you
to talk to other people
that are dealing with it, I don't know.
I mean, you know, strength
in numbers, but anyway,
do you see, do you see all these?
Do you see all this loveliness?
- Yes, yes, yes, what are we doing?
What's the event?
What are we doing
because it is a pandemic,
so we can't be going out.
- Okay, so you're going
to help me figure out
what I'm going to wearing on
my virtual date with Paxter.
- You're going on a
virtual date with Paxter?
- Yes that's his name.
It's his real name.
- That's his real name?
Did you see like an identification card?
Maybe a passport?
- Okay, first of all, his
dad is from Lake Norway
and his mom's from Hawaii.
So people named their
kids, weird things anyway.
At least it's not like a fruit like apple.
I'm just saying it's his real name.
I'm going to find out why.
- Yeah.
- I'm going to find out
why they named him that,
but he's super cute,
and he's really sweet.
And I want to be like, I want to be sexy,
but not like too sexy, like 900 number.
'Cause it's all video chat stuff.
And guys right now are like,
ooh, send me hot videos,
which I'm not going to do that.
(static buzzing)
So I'm definitely not wearing
these Urkel sweat pants,
even though they're super sexy.
- Yes, I feel it.
I would date you if you had
those on, on our virtual date.
- I'm thinking, maybe this
skirt, because I just got it.
I just ordered it.
- Okay, okay.
- I mean, obviously I'm not
going to leave the house,
so it needs to be something
fun, but like, okay.
So here's this.
- Yeah, what if, I don't know.
- Are we doing a little glitter action?
- What do you think, is it too Brittany?
- I think, I dunno.
I feel at multi-colors, that's
what's really getting me.
You know what I'm saying?
It's like, hi, I'm a mermaid, how are you?
How do you feel about it?
That's all that matters.
- Okay fine, you don't like
it, I can tell by your voice.
Okay, this, you see this?
Fine, no, okay.
What about red?
(women laughing)
Do we like red?
- I think red might be too much passion.
- Hang on, I have one more.
I have one more, hang on.
- Okay.
- This one I think is going to be it.
- Okay, let's see.
- I know it's yellow.
- Nice butt.
- And you know I love yellow, but hang on.
Hang on, hang on.
- [Lisa] Okay, okay, let me see it!
- Don't make fun of my
old lady gray sports bra.
- Are you working out, you look so good!
What have you been doing out there?
- Okay, hang on.
- Ooh, mama sita yeah!
(Lisa clapping)
Literally don't wear
anything, just wear that.
- Hang on.
- Just wear like
your sports bra and your
underwear and that's it,
that's all.
- [Avery] Yes?
- [Lisa] Yes, absolutely, yes.
(Lisa clapping)
Yes!
- Okay. Yay.
Oh wait, without this
underneath though obviously.
- Yellow is a must, but what about,
I mean, we need earrings, we need jewelry.
- Oh I have, hang on, hang on.
- I don't know, maybe like a little-
- I have hoops, hang on.
- Maybe even like a little
perfume, I don't know.
- What, like you can smell
me through the computer?
Get off it.
Hang on.
- Oh, like I feel like pheromones
could probably pass through technology.
You know what I'm saying?
Like hello, hi.
- Virtual pheromones, I highly doubt it.
Okay.
- You know what I'm saying?
Like I know you smell this.
I know you smell me.
- No, no, no.
You don't want to say,
I know you smell this.
That's like the wrong
thing to say to a guy.
(women laughing)
Okay first of all-
- Hey baby,
I know you smell this.
- Never, ever, ever, ever, say that, ever!
Good God!
Do you think I should do
a sexy video for Paxter
like you did for Austin?
Oh, that's, oh man.
- And if I say hi, no?
What 'cause I can't dance like you?
- My video didn't really
work out for Austin though.
- So if I walked toward
you and you're a guy.
(Lisa clapping)
Yes?
- Yes, I'd be like, oh my God!
Who is that hot mama?
Who is she?
I need a her number now!
That would be me.
That's just be like at the
other table in the restaurant,
hyping you up as you walk by.
- At the other table?
Oh my God, what would I do without you?
- I was like, oh my God,
she's so hot isn't she?
Yeah.
(loud banging on door)
(Lisa panting)
(door creaking open slowly)
Oh my god!
(Lisa gasping for air)
Okay, whew.
Okay.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
Okay, all right, okay.
(static buzzing)
(door clicking open)
(Lisa breathing heavily)
Why is my door open?
Oh fuck.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
Fuck, fuck.
Fuck, fuck, fuck.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
(door creaking shut)
(Lisa breathless)
oh, fuck.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
I already locked the door.
Oh my God, oh my God, Oh my God.
Its okay, its okay.
(static buzzing)
- And you're sure you locked the door?
- I locked the door.
I know I locked the door the
whole house is locked up.
- Okay, so what did the
detective say about that?
Did they check and see if somebody
had like forced the lock open?
Did they have a key?
- I mean yeah.
But he pretty much kind
of just looked at me.
'Cause I keep telling
him about the knocking
and what's going on before it happens.
And he's kind of giving me the side eye.
Like he doesn't believe me.
And I'm like, I'm not crazy.
Like I know that something's
going on in the house.
- Okay.
- I don't know.
- So what did he say about Blaine then?
Did you say anything?
- I did not tell him about Blaine,
that doesn't even make sense.
- You didn't tell him
about Blaine, of course.
- I mean logical solutions here, please.
- Of course.
So you feel like you're going crazy.
I feel like I'm going crazy,
but because I keep having
the same conversations,
like over and over and over,
I ask you one simple thing
and that it's to simply
tell the detectives
about your crazy ex boyfriend.
- Just because you
asked me to do something
doesn't mean that I have to do it.
- Okay, it is our house
that he's coming into.
- That doesn't make sense for me to do.
- It is my girl.
- Because I keep trying
to tell you he's not here.
- Listen the door was open.
He follows you on social media is still
so he knows you're home alone.
Everybody who follows you
knows you're home alone.
And we know what that guy's capable of.
Okay, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving.
That's all I have to say.
It's amazing how you
conveniently forget Thanksgiving.
- I don't-
- We had to move Lisa.
- I don't conveniently
forget about anything.
- We had to move our home
because of what he did.
- Okay!
- And you just completely
wipe that from your memory.
And I told you, when we moved-
- No I did not.
- We needed a building with
security and you were like,
no, we don't need-
And the only reason I wanted
a building with security
is because of him.
Nobody else.
I wasn't worried about
anyone else, except him.
And now all of my worries are coming true
because you refuse to listen to me.
And that's all I asked
and you won't do it.
- I refused to listen to you?
- Yes.
- Because you're not making sense.
That does not make sense.
We both know Blaine.
That doesn't make sense.
- Oh, you really know him.
- He's, I mean, yeah, of
course I really know him.
What the, what the fuck does that mean?
- You know what it means.
- Of course I really know him.
I used to date him.
Yes we're all aware.
- And with that being said,
I know what he would do.
He's not going to sneak in my
house with a backdoor stupid.
- You don't think he
would sneak in our house?
Out of what he did before?
- He's not gonna sneak in the house.
That makes no sense.
- Out of what he did before?
Like do we-
- He's gonna be-
If Blaine was here, we
would know it was Blaine.
He's not gonna have us
guessing if it's Blaine or not.
- You practically invited him
into my home, into our home.
You invited him.
- Into your home?
So it's only your home now?
- You invited him, okay?
Bottom line, fix this.
Talk to the detective.
Tell him about your ex, your
crazy fucking ex boyfriend.
- Hi, love.
I just want to leave you a quick message.
I know you're working late,
but I am about to start dinner, I'm home.
And I actually got all of-
the way we are so ready to go for-
Oh, and look who wants to say hi.
Shermy, you want to say hi?
Say hi.
(glass thudding and crashing)
(woman gasping)
(fruit basket squeaking)
Oh my god.
(woman gasping)
(static buzzing)
(silence humming)
(static buzzing)
- Weird scratching noise.
And I'm the only one here, okay.
But look at my kitchen.
Like I woke up and it
was like this and I mean,
look at my oven.
I don't know what's going on.
(door slamming)
(woman screaming)
(static buzzing)
(banging on door)
(banging on door)
- You're hearing that right?
Obviously something's
breaking down the door.
Hello?
(thudding on door)
Oh my God.
(banging on door)
Hello?
Hello?
(light clicking on)
(doors creaking open)
(doors slamming shut)
(woman screaming)
(static buzzing)
- Okay so I have been studying these cases
that have been coming in
these videos of people, hearing
knocking and scratching,
and that feeling that
they seem to describe
of having something in
the house with them.
(man sighing)
I can't seem to find any
patterns that really stick out.
It feels like something else is there.
It just being medical is not
the reason I left med school
to figure out what is going on with this.
There's something else involved,
something that feels strange.
We've been chatting in this
chat group that I created
of people who are
experiencing these things
just to get more information.
But whatever this thing is,
it's a plague.
- [Man] I'm recording you guys.
Yep, I'm recording you
every single night now.
Worthless piece of shit security cameras.
But I'm gonna get you.
I'm gonna get you.
(static buzzing)
And then you're done.
Yeah that's, right, then you're done.
You guys up there?
You up there?
No?
Awe man, fuck.
My head's hurtin' so bad.
I can't get any fuckin' sleep.
(distant banging on door)
All damn night.
Okay, ya, here we go.
Are you down here?
My fucking head.
My head hurts so bad.
(man coughing)
Fuck, all right, there we go.
Come on, keep it together.
I got this, I got this.
I got you.
Yeah they're laughin' now.
They're fuckin' laughin' now.
If I catch these guys, mhm.
You guys here?
You just keep runnin',
you just keep on runnin'.
Knockin' every fuckin' night.
Okay, here we go.
(door clicking shut)
All right you little fuckers.
Knockin' every fuckin night'.
If I catch you little fuckers,
I'm gonna fuckin' kill you.
(static buzzing)
- Yeah, so right before
that was all the, you know,
it was the same, like that
pounding, knocking noise.
And then it turned into like
this scraping thing, you know,
almost like almost like a tree
branch or a limb or something
was scraping along the
side of the building.
And so yeah, when I went
outside, there was like nothing.
And I talked to the building
manager and he was like,
you know I talked to him three times
and he was like, no, there's nothing.
And there's no trees nearby and what-
- [Lisa] So there's like nothing around.
- [Austin] What are you doing babe?
- [Lisa] I'm checking
for noises right now.
So Avery sent me something
about this paranormal group
and she sent me all these videos and stuff
and they sound like exactly,
like what you're going through.
- Like paranormal group,
like investigators or people who are like-
- Like I mean, it's a group
of people that I guess,
you know, everyone's experiencing
the exact same things so,
you know-
- Okay.
- And it sounds so similar
to what you're saying is going on.
And then also from the videos
that you sent me yesterday of
like no one being being there,
like everyone-(hands smacking)
- Oh, okay.
- Yeah.
So this may sound like a
stretch, but do you think
like these videos that Avery is seeing
and like all these
people are seeing online?
Like, do you think that
maybe Blaine saw them?
And so he's trying to use
them to maybe, you know,
do what he's doing to you.
And does he have like friends
or family or something
like in Florida that they're coming here
and doing the same, just to fuck with us.
Like, I'm just trying to come up with
some sort of explanation,
you know, like I-
(Austin coughing)
- Are you okay?
How are you feeling right now?
- I'm fine.
I'm fine, I'm just, you know, the same.
You're saying you think it's this group,
like, what do you think
this group specializes in,
like, what are they, what are they saying?
- What do you mean what
do they specialize in?
It's just everyone kind
of giving their, you know,
degree of what happened to them,
and like what they're going through.
And it's pretty much,
everyone's kind of going
through the same thing
to a different degree.
Some people it just started.
Some people though, I guess,
have already been dealing
with it for a couple of months
or days or weeks, I don't even know.
- Like the same like the noises and stuff
and like the doors?
- Yes,
The scratching, the doors,
having stuff open that shouldn't be open,
having stuff move,
having knocking inside
and outside of the house,
feeling like they let something in.
I felt like that when I
opened that stupid door,
when I first thought the knocking.
- Listen, I'm just saying that, like,
I think because there's so many videos
that Blaine could really
be at the heart of this
and like, he-
- All right you know what?
- He's the one-
Hey babe,
babe, listen, come here, please.
- Lisa I think the security
cameras are a really good idea.
It's going to make you feel nice and safe.
Now we are in the middle of a pandemic.
We're not even sure of
all the symptoms yet,
so I need to know, have you been tested?
- No.
- Okay.
So one of the first things we need to do
is let's get you tested,
does that make sense?
- Okay.
- And you are taking your meds, right?
- Yes, yes.
- Good, good girl.
You're not mixing
anything with those meds?
- Just some wine.
- Lisa, I get that you
want to have a drink,
but you know that you cannot
mix wine with your meds.
I mean, we're looking at potential
hallucinations, seizures.
I don't want this for you.
I don't want what happened
four years ago to happen again.
- Okay.
- We made a promise to each
other that we would work it.
And one of those things
was no mixing anything with your meds.
- Okay, but this is not four years ago.
Everything's okay now, okay?
I will stop drinking wine.
It's fine.
Yes, I will do it.
- Does Austin know about the episode?
- No.
- Okay.
- No.
- Have you thought to tell him?
Having Austin understand
what you've been through
and that support's really important?
So why not?
- I mean, to be honest, it
just hasn't been a good time.
You know, what happened
isn't necessarily something
that you can just pop into a conversation.
I mean, we've only been
together for about a year now
and everything's been really good.
I honestly just don't really
want to wreck anything
right now.
- Oh, of course I get that.
But I want you to see if
maybe you can work it in,
just so that I know you've
got some more support.
Now I'm really glad that
we had this session booked,
but let's put you in for another one,
so that I can check in with you.
I want that test and no more
mixing the wine with the meds.
Okay?
- Okay.
- Okay.
(ominous rattling)
Oh my God.
(Lisa breathing hard)
Okay it's just boxes,
it's just boxes.
(Lisa laughing franticly)
I'm going crazy, oh my God.
(Lisa breathing hard)
(door clicking shut)
It's okay.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
It's okay, it's okay.
It's okay, it's just, its just-
It's just-
I don't even know, it's
just craziness, it's okay.
It's okay.
(static buzzing)
(Lisa breathing heavy)
(Lisa crying)
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
(static buzzing)
- All through the house,
they checked everything.
I'm not really sure what they did.
I kind of stayed in my
room the whole time.
- To get like fingerprints and stuff?
- I think so, I don't-
I hope so, I hope they found something.
I don't, I really don't know.
I really don't know.
- I looked at the security cameras today,
the tracking number,
and they should be there
in a couple of days, so.
- Okay.
I also told them about
Blaine and to check his alibi
and make sure that he isn't the one
that's actually doing this.
- Good, okay. Finally.
- Yeah.
(computer dinging)
- This is Avery.
(computer chimes)
Hey girl.
- Hey.
- What's goin' on?
- Hey Avery.
- Oh, hey.
- Oh Austin's here.
- How are you?
- So I was just calling
to see if you guys wanted
to join this chat room.
It's by private invite only.
So I have to send you a link,
but I think it would really be helpful.
- Wait, is this the
paranormal, like crazy people?
(Avery clearing her throat)
Those guys?
- It's people that are
having the same experiences.
So I'm just trying-
- Thank you.
- To be helpful, care about
y'all, just want to make sure-
- Let me stop you there,
while I appreciate that,
I don't think it's going to be beneficial
because Lisa just talked to the detective
and they're going to handle
the Blaine thing, you know,
and they're going to
get this taken care of.
And I think we're, you know,
that would just be kind
of spinning our wheels
and chasing whatever
that is you're chasing.
- Avery, where's Blaine?
- Well Blaine's in another country.
So that's kind of not-
- Exactly, Blaine's in another country.
- So says his Instagram.
- You know what?
Avery, babes,
I definitely need to sign
up for the group chat.
I don't know what's going on.
- So you wanna do it?
- I feel like there's
something in my room.
- Yes, he was in your room!
He was in your room.
- No, it was not him!
It was something else,
and I'm trying to tell you
that there is something else in my room.
I feel it!
- That's it, I'm coming home.
- Guys!
- No I don't give a shit.
- That doesn't make sense!
- I don't care about the production.
- Guys!
- What kind of sense does that make?
- Guys chill out.
It doesn't need to be something crazy.
We're just going to talk to people.
That's all I'm asking for you to do.
Don't get on a plane.
- [Lisa] I'm down.
- Clearly you're sick Austin.
Like, let's just, you're
not going to go anywhere.
You're sitting at home.
- I'm fine, thank you for your concern.
- You're coughing!
I just heard you cough.
- [Avery] Listen I'm not
trying to be a bitch,
I'm just saying it can't hurt
to talk to other people that-
- I was clearing my throat.
- Oh my God, okay.
He's clearing his throat, I'm-
All right, anyway, babes,
sign me up, please.
- Okay I-
- You guys have fun, have fun.
- We will, and we'll figure this out.
- I want a full report.
(Lisa laughing)
(ominous noise rattling)
(man breathing heavily)
(light switch clicking)
- Hello?
Hey who's-
All right, I'm coming down, all right?
(door creaking open)
Shit!
(camera thudding)
(static buzzing)
(distant banging)
What the fuck is that?
What the fuck is that?
(door creaking open)
Hey!
Hey, stay right-!
Stay right there!
I called the cops.
(distant knocking)
(man breathing heavily)
Fuck.
(loud knocking on door)
What the fuck is that?
What the fuck is happening?
(Man laughing frantically)
Okay.
Get the fuck outta here.
Get the fuck outta here.
(man gasping)
(light clicking off)
Okay, okay.
(man gasping)
(man whimpering)
(light clicking off)
(man laughing in hysterics)
You've got to be fucking kidding me.
(light clicking on and off)
There we go, come on.
(man grumbling)
Okay.
Fuck!
(loud knocking on door)
Shit!
Shit!
Yeah, who is it?
(loud knocking on door)
I'm comin', I'm comin'.
Who's there, hello?
Hey, I've called the cops okay?
(scratching on door)
(lock clicking open)
(man gasping)
What the fuck just happened?
What the fuck just happened?
- [Anonymous Voice] Austin?
(Austin whimpering)
Austin?
- [Austin] I'm coming in.
- [Anonymous Voice] Austin?
- [Austin] Okay.
What the fuck just-
What the fuck is this?
Okay (door creaking shut)
No, no, no, no.
(door clicking shut)
(static buzzing)
- Hey everybody.
Thanks for being here, Austin, Lisa,
thanks for being here.
I'm Jared.
I'm sorry.
I just wanted to say
if I seem a little off,
it's I got some pretty bad news.
I just found out that one
of our group chat members
just died last night.
- Oh my God, I'm so sorry
So I'm sorry if I'm a little rattled.
- Jared, who?
Who?
- It was Christina.
- Christina's dead?
(woman sighing)
- Yeah.
So, Lisa, Austin, thank
you for being here.
Thank you for sending us your videos.
We hope that we can use that information
so that we can not have another
scenario like this again.
So thank you for being here,
Jen and I felt it was
important to just jump on
and talk to you guys about everything.
So let's just kind of get into it.
And so Lisa, from what I
can tell on your videos,
you were experiencing the
knocking that's happening outside
and I'm assuming inside, from what I saw.
- Yes, I have experienced
both of those things.
Absolutely, so.
- [Jared] Okay.
And you're hearing the
scratching and the open windows
and open doors, and a ransacked room
moments after you've left it.
Does that sound right?
- [Lisa] Yeah.
And Austin you're experiencing
the same things, right?
Just to somewhat of a
lesser degree right now?
- Yeah, I mean, it's
not exactly like that.
And you know, in Lisa's case,
we think we know who's doing
it, but you know, here we are.
- So I guess we'll just
jump into the stages.
Jenna, do you want to, you
feel up for talking about that?
- Wait stages of what?
- So that there seems to
be stages to this thing.
So stage one is you, knocking.
So you're going to hear
a knocking at your door.
And some, I think some of y'all
might've experienced that already.
And the knocking does not stop until,
until you open the door.
Once you open the door, some people say
it's like, something comes in.
Then the knocking moves
from outside to inside.
So you'll just hear random
knocking like all over.
Then it's like, nothing is
where it's supposed to be.
So you put something
somewhere and it's just,
it's not there anymore.
Like, doors open by themselves, you know,
you close the closet door and
all of a sudden it's open.
- Yes.
- You know?
So it seems like the second to the,
it seems like the second to the last step,
is you start to hear scratching,
like just a little bit of
scratching and then it gets,
it just gets louder and louder.
- What's the last stage,
because you said it
was the second to last.
- Yeah.
But the last stage is,
you die.
It's death.
- Austin, I fucking told
you, that it wasn't Blaine.
I told you, I have literally experienced
every single one of those
things that she said,
and I kept telling you,
that it wasn't Blaine.
- Not exactly the same way.
- It is exactly the same.
What are you talking about?
I told you, and you got the knock first.
- So all of these stages
are things that Christina
experienced before she died.
- Okay, has anybody tried leaving,
like getting out of their home,
going somewhere else?
- Yeah.
Yes, yes, yes.
Christina tried that, I tried it too.
I even slept in my car.
It just follows you.
It just, it just follows you.
- [Avery] Follows you?
- I mean, there's another explanation
that it's whatever this thing is,
that comes around every
100 years for a visit,
only comes when there's global pandemics.
- Because this is the pandemic.
This is the pan-
This is it.
This is, this is it.
This is the plague.
- I'm not following exactly
the logic on any of this.
I want to.
- There is no logic.
It's just happening.
Did you hear the knock at your door?
Did you hear a knock?
If you heard a knock, it's started.
- I've heard some of the same things, yes.
- Guys-
- Let's just time out
for a second okay Jenna?
They're reaching out to
us for some help okay?
We have to just play nice here.
- But Jared, I understand but there is-
What is-
Christina is dead, Christina is dead.
Like what is to help?
- Austin, three months ago,
- [Austin] Yeah.
- if someone was telling
me what I'm telling you
I probably would've reacted the same way.
But we have found documented confessions,
written records of people
experiencing these things
all the way back to 250 A D, okay?
During the Cyprian plague, at its height
that plague killed 5,000
people, 5,000 people a day,
in Rome.
And that lasted for 20 years.
Okay?
We have these records of it happening
during the Justinian plague,
during the great plague of London,
the third grade plague, the black plague,
even as recent as the cholera outbreak,
the list goes on and on.
The symptoms are different
for these different diseases.
But one through line is,
that there are records
of people experiencing
this knocking, the scratching,
the feeling that somebody is there.
- So you're saying then,
and correct me if I'm wrong,
but you're making the
connection then that,
that it's come back around again?
This, whatever you guys are talking about,
that's the connection
you're trying to make.
Is that, am I following
correctly with that?
- Whatever it seems to be.
Whatever this thing is,
seems like it's something that
comes along with a plague.
- And it's not.
And I think what I think
what we have to understand is
it seems like whatever this is,
it's not about it being inside you.
It's all around you.
I don't, you know what I mean?
It's all around you.
- I just, it just, there's
a lot of non-answers here.
I'm sorry.
- Look, I'm sorry there's no definitive.
I wish there were.
Okay?
I wish there was a definitiveness,
- Do you know what the answer-
I'll tell you what the answer is y'all,
and I'm being real with you,
honestly, we're all gonna die.
I'm gettin' a drink.
Fuck this.
- Look, I am working to find
a definitive list of answers
on how you can make this better.
I will figure that out,
but for now you just have to
stay as positive as you can,
stay strong, and stay
as healthy as you can.
I'm serious, I'm going to find this, okay?
- So you mean to tell me,
that you can't help us?
- I will, we'll figure
something out together.
I'm hoping that from your videos,
from all the research that we're doing,
even if we don't find an
immediate cure right now,
I'm hoping that all of
this collective information
will help somebody soon.
Maybe the next group of people.
- Jared, Jared, Jared,
- The next group of people?
- I just have to say you are
super cute to be so positive.
Just give it up, give it up.
It's done.
Just make your peace y'all,
just make your peace.
Salute!
- So that was, that was a lot.
I want you to, to let me know,
as soon as you hear from
detective baker, okay?
And those guys, and just
see what they find out,
'cause I feel like they're probably
going to be on to something there.
And those, you know, those
cameras that are coming,
like, as soon as you get those, call me,
I'll help you set them up.
And babe, as soon as I'm cleared to fly,
I'm on a plane, I'm home.
Babe it's my-
- Yeah?
Yeah, it's my choice.
I don't give a damn about
the production anymore
and I can choose to come home if I want.
And that's what I want, because I'm just,
I feel like you and I been
at each other's throats,
you know, and we're not on the same page.
And I know that 99.9% of that's my fault,
and-
- It's not all you.
- Okay, well, 50% of it's your fault.
That's a joke, that's a joke.
You know, I'm joking.
(Lisa laughing)
But I just think-
- Are you okay?
- No, I'm just tired.
- Are you okay?
What's goin' on?
- I'm tired.
I'm just tired
- Okay.
- And I just need to to like sleep.
It was a lot of conversation, you know?
- Yeah, it was, it was a lot.
- I want you to know that
you're going to be okay.
We're going to be okay.
You know, I'll be home soon.
You're you're getting
these cameras set up.
So we're just going to
make sure you're safe.
And, (Austin Coughing)
and I won't cough in
your face when I'm there.
And I'm on the tail end of this
thing, you know, it's just,
I'm like, I'm tired of Florida.
- Come home, then.
- I'm gonna come home.
I'm coming home, I'm coming home, okay?
- You don't hear, are you,
are you sure that you're?
I don't know, you keep looking back.
- Oh, do I know.
- Yeah, do you hear something?
Do you hear something?
- No, I don't.
It's like the neighbors make
a lot of noise and stuff.
And I'm just, I don't know,
I guess I'm just so tired.
I'm tired.
But you're going to be good, we're good.
Okay, I need to sleep.
I need to sleep.
Okay?
- Okay.
- All right.
You look very cute.
- Thanks, I appreciate it.
(Austin coughing)
- I know that's sexy, but yeah.
(Lisa laughing)
Always at a hundred percent.
Love it.
- That's what you got right now.
All right.
I love you.
- I love you and I,
(Lisa sighing)
let's not argue anymore, okay?
I just want you to come home.
- No mas, okay.
- We won't argue anymore.
- As soon as I'm cleared
to fly, I am on the next plane, okay?
- All right babe
- All right, go to sleep.
- I'll talk to you later
- I'll talk to you later, I love you.
- Love you too.
(loud scratching on walls)
Shut up!
(static buzzing)
(door creaking open)
(ominous growling)
(static buzzing)
- Unfortunately, Lisa,
this is where we're at.
We didn't come up with anything.
The lab didn't give us
anything conclusive back,
no fingerprints or nothing.
And we also looked into
Blaine and he checks out,
the alibi matches up.
- Okay, okay but here's the thing.
Here's the thing though.
You gotta hold on, because
there was knocking, right?
There was knocking on the door
(Lisa banging on door)
There was knocking coming outta this door,
there was knocking coming from the walls,
There was knocking, you
know, from the bathroom.
Like there was knocking,
there was banging,
there is stuff scratching and-
- Lisa, you need to calm down.
- And then there's a bunch of
stuff that's going on, right?
And you're telling me that
you don't have anything
to help me, at all right?
- Lisa, listen to me just
for a second, please.
I want to help you,
- [Lisa] But you're not.
- But, well, I need a little
bit more than knocking
and banging noises, and I need
a lot more than chat groups.
Now, can I just give you
some advice real quick
about a chat group, these
things they seem appealing,
but I know you're looking for answers.
Let's put it that way.
- There are people dying.
- And I know when you're
stuck at home alone
for long periods of time,
it's nice to have people to talk to.
(Lisa exclaiming)
But in my experience,
the people in these groups
have lots of ulterior motives,
- Oh my-!
- Whether it's relationships.
Whether its for money.
(computer dinging)
- That, all the
fingerprints and stuff that,
that none of it's-
That they can't get anything from it.
And now you're not answering your phone.
And I really need for you to answer.
Please answer your phone,
please, please, please, please,
please answer your phone.
Okay, I'm going to try
you again, I don't know.
I'm not feeling too well.
I'm really hoping that you
feel a little bit better
than I do, I don't know.
You know what I'm saying?
I don't really know what's going on here,
but you're not answering your phone.
I'm not feeling good.
And, you know what, it's
okay, it's all right.
It's okay, it's okay.
I'm going to try you again and that's it.
I'm just gonna, I'm just
gonna try you again.
Okay.
I miss you, bye.
- Hey, what's up?
- Hey, have you heard from the police yet?
- Police?
What are you talking about.
- Austin?
- What about Austin?
- You don't know?
I can't believe I'm the
one telling you this.
- No, what do you mean I don't know, what?
Spit it out!
What's going on?
- Austin killed himself last night.
(static buzzing)
- Lisa, tell me what's going on.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
- Can you hear that?
- It's okay, sweetheart.
Just tell me what's going on.
- Can you hear that?
Can you hear that?
- No, no, I can't hear anything.
- Please tell me you can hear that.
Can you hear the knocking?
- No, Lisa, there's no knocking.
- Can you hear the scratching?
- Can you sit down-
- Stop!
- Lisa?
- Oh my God!
- Lisa no I cannot hear the scratching.
Please come and sit back down.
- You have to hear it, you have to hear.
- Lisa, Lisa, I need you to
come sit back down please.
- Can you not hear anything?!
Can you not hear anything?!
- Lisa please!
(Lisa hyperventilating)
Please just deep breathe with me.
- Oh my god!
- Lisa okay, I am getting a colleague
to come and check on you.
Lisa, please, relax.
(Lisa deep breathing)
Focus, calm down.
- Okay, okay, okay I-
- Okay, I am getting a colleague
to come and check on you.
- Oh my god stop, stop, stop, stop!
Stop, Stop!
- Lisa, Lisa.
- Can you hear that?
Oh my God!
- Lisa!
- Okay I gotta go.
I gotta, I gotta go.
(static buzzing)
(loud banging on doors and walls)
(Lisa breathing heavily)
Okay,
okay.
(Loud banging on doors and walls)
(Lisa crying)
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
(Loud banging on doors and walls)
Okay.
(scratching on walls)
Oh my God!
Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop!
(static buzzing)
(loud knocking and banging
on doors and walls)
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
(Lisa crying)
(ominous scratching and
creaking and banging)
Okay!
Stop, stop, stop, stop!
(door creaking open)
(Lisa crying)
(Lisa gasping for air)
Oh my God!
Oh my God!
(loud pounding on doors and walls)
(Lisa crying)
(computer dinging)
Okay, okay.
(computer dinging)
Avery, Avery, Avery I
don't know what's going on!
- Lisa where have you been?
I've been trying to call you for hours.
(Lisa hyperventilating)
Honey, calm down, I need to talk to you.
Lisa.
Lisa listen, something-
- Do you hear that?
- Something happened to Austin.
(Lisa whimpering)
Have you talked with Jared?
- No, I have not talked to Jared.
No.
- Okay, honey, listen, listen.
I need to-
- What, what, what, what, yes, yes?
- Lisa, look at me.
Look at me, look at me, please.
- Okay, okay, okay I'm looking.
- Look at me.
You know I love you right?
More than anything.
- Yeah.
Yes, I love you too, yes, yes.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
- Honey, Austin's dead.
He cut his throat, he killed himself.
I just didn't want you to
hear it from anybody else.
I'm so sorry.
(Lisa in hysterics)
- Oh my God!
Oh my God do you hear that?
Do you hear that?
- I'm here for you.
(Lisa screaming)
(door slamming)
(static buzzing)
(fabric rustling)
- Hello?
Who is it?
(static buzzing)
Austin?
How did you get my number, man?
It's four in the morning, what's going on?
Are you all-?
I can't hear you.
Austin, I can't hear you, you're muted.
You're muted.
(static buzzing)
Where-
What the fuck, where's he going?
Austin, are you there, what
the hell is going on, man?
What, what are you doing Austin?
Put the knife down.
Austin!
Why do you have a knife?
Put the knife down!
Stop!
What?!
(static buzzing)
What?!
(static buzzing)
Austin!
What the fuck!
(static buzzing)
(static buzzing)
- I got no forced entry.
I got no fingerprints.
I got no DNA other than the
victims inside the crime scene.
I also have in front of
me, the official autopsy,
they both died from a stroke.
- I'm sorry, a stroke?
- They both died of a natural causes.
- Okay, first of all, they both were sick.
And my friend's been on
medication for forever.
This is not natural causes,
nothing about this as natural.
I don't understand.
- They both were just
found lying on the floor.
And the autopsy shows that
again, this is natural causes.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry for your loss.
- Detective this is my
best, you don't understand.
This is my best friend.
I'm not lying.
I'm not making this up.
This is real.
- No one's saying that
you're making anything up.
What I am saying though,
is that the autopsy shows
otherwise, if you have-
- Well who's doing the autopsy?!
I mean-
- Again Avery, I'm sorry for your loss.
Any new information,
please feel free to contact
me or please send it.
I'm wishing you all the best.
(computer dinging)
(Avery sighing)
- Why doesn't anybody believe-?
I don't understand, this is crazy.
This is insane.
(Avery sniffling)
(loud knocking on door)
(static buzzing)
(upbeat rock music)
Walk when you're close to me
When my heart beats fast and free
I can't control the way I go
Well I just can't let it show
I should've opened,
open my world to you
It's not an easy, easy thing to do
I gotta step away
(upbeat rock music)
Oh girl, you worry me so
But I just won't let it go
The way you get to me
I know honey that you see
Believe me when, when I say to you
When I'm feeling, feeling like a fool
I just step away
(static buzzing)
(static crackling)
(static crackling)
- And the editing software activates
the front end rear facing
camera at the same time.
So let me know if this is what you like.
If you want me to do this
kind of thing in the future,
remember to subscribe, hit
the little bell next to it,
and smash that Like button.
See you next time.
That sucked.
God, how long are we gonna be stuck here?
What the fuck is that?
No, we're stopped here at the, there's a-
You can see the train to across-
No, no, no, no.
I swear to God there was like a,
I don't know, a guy like-
(train humming)
Guys I swear to God.
It was like, can you see that,
it was like lookin' right,
I mean like right there.
There's no one-
Why are we stopped?
(door clicking open)
(train humming)
(person screaming)
(static humming)
- Kind of like a bang, like this...
(hand banging surface)
- [Dad] Oh yeah?
- Yeah.
- [Dad] Okay, well, I don't
see anything out here.
- [Kid] Nothing above either?
- [Dad] Above?
Nope, nothing's on the roof.
(crickets chirping)
(masked kid roaring)
Oh my God!
(kids giggling)
(static buzzing)
- Okay, so I am doing this post.
Can you guys hear that?
(static buzzing)
When this whole thing
started, you know, like I was,
I guess doing it like everybody
else, obviously, you know,
probably too many
quarantini's or whatever.
And so after about like
two or three weeks,
in to this thing, the shutdown,
I started to feel, you know, ill.
I thought maybe it was ya know, the virus.
I heard this, I heard a sound.
(static buzzing)
I opened the door and
there was nobody there.
And like I know that I heard
someone knock on the door.
When I opened the door,
and I swear to God,
this is going to sound so fuckin' crazy.
But I felt like,
I felt like something came in.
Not like a breeze of air, or a gust of-
This sounds so crazy.
Just weird, went past me.
A couple of days or so,
and then I actually
heard the knocking again.
But this time it was, it was inside.
(static buzzing)
This is my first house and I
was really excited about it.
And then like right before
the shutdown happened,
I was just getting ready to buy furniture.
So like there's nothing-
I've just been sitting and sleeping
on this one futon, right?
And so I was going to
like decorate my house.
And so now I'm thinking, oh my God, like,
do I have like rats or something?
I called my doctor and I
couldn't even get a call back.
And so, you know, I told
them on their voicemail
that I was having strange symptoms
and I wasn't feeling well.
And I was starting to maybe, you know,
like hear the things because
the knocking was getting-
The knocking was getting
longer and louder.
And now it was happening in the same room
where I would be sitting or sleeping.
There is something in my house with me
and it's making noises.
It is knocking and I can feel it.
(static buzzing)
(woman screaming)
(static buzzing)
(mechanical humming)
(static buzzing)
- Hey superstar.
- Hey babe, what's up?
- What are you doing?
- I'm still in Florida, still here.
It's like California, but
except like really shitty.
(Lisa laughing)
I do have some potentially
not so great news.
- Uh-oh, what's wrong?
- So they're like
shutting down production.
They did like the whole testing thing.
That was the picture I sent you.
And I'm actually, I'm positive,
I tested positive for this thing.
Right now they're not
really sure what that means.
Nobody really knows as
far as production goes.
So they're, it's not just me though.
There was like six or seven crew members.
Most of the cast, the
director of episode two.
So they're telling us that,
I mean, the bad part is,
we're like quarantining
for like two weeks.
So they're telling us like 14 days,
on the 15th day, they're
going to retest us.
So that's like, I'm
stuck here even longer.
Like they're gonna, they're
still going to pay us though.
Like I'm still getting paid.
Which means here's the bright
side of it, silver lining,
when I get back, Taco
Bell dinner, you and I,
'cause I'm getting paid
the big bucks babe.
- Oh man, we are really rich man.
(Lisa laughing)
Oh man, thank you.
- It's a silver lining.
- I really appreciate that.
- I know it sucks.
'Cause I was-
- Yeah it does.
- I was ready to come home and like,
- I wish you could come home.
- I was ready to come
home in like eight days
after we were finished
shooting the second episode,
but we're not even finished
with the first one.
(Lisa sighing)
And they're just saying like 14 days.
And so I'm like stuck here.
It'll give me,
it'll actually give me time to
like practice my accent for,
for Anchor.
You know?
- For Anchor?
- Yeah, my big villain line, you know,
when I was like, sink all of those boats!
It's very like Pirates of the
Caribbean, don't you think?
- Oh yeah, no that's great.
- Yeah?
You like the accent?
No, not so much?
- I mean, what kind of
accent are you thinking?
Like was that it, right there,
are you locked on that one?
- I've been working with a
dialect coach, on set, yeah.
- Are you guys going to keep like
working the next two weeks?
- I'm not gonna do it again then, fine.
Oh, also let me send you,
I'm going to send it to you right now.
They did-
You know how they have a
comic for Dive, the show?
They have a comic book,
- Yes.
It's like issue 23.
My character Anchor, the
one with a great accent.
- Did you get that?
- Here it is, I'm gonna
send it to you right now.
Look at that.
- Oh, I'm so excited.
- Look at that, issue 23 volume two.
That's me.
They did it based on me.
(Lisa laughing and cheering)
- It looks so good!
- So good.
- You are a fucking star!
- I'm your star.
- You're a star now.
- That's crazy.
- Yeah.
- So stay on my good side.
- I'm so excited for you.
- Not only will you get
to hang out with a star,
you'll get to go to
Taco Bell with the star.
- We get to go to Taco Bell
and have a Taco Bell dinner.
- They gave us masks.
Do you have, do you have a mask yet?
- Yeah, look, hold on I'll
go get mine, I'll show you.
- Mine's like a real doctors mask,
production gave 'em to us.
- Yeah, I don't know.
Mines cloth.
I don't even, hold on.
- I play a doctor.
- It's all jankity.
- No, it's actually Anchor, the villain.
(Lisa laughing)
I think my accent just changed.
It's so Irish now.
- Right!
Are you going to figure out which one
you're going to actually land on?
Maybe your dialect coach
can help with that one.
- Maybe that's the only line
I'm going to do in an accident.
Just to throw people off.
(Lisa laughing)
- Just that one.
- Just that one line.
- Just keep it simple.
So mines this and it like, you
know, it goes over da-da-da.
It's fine.
- You look sexy in that.
- Oh thank you.
It matches my outfit too.
I've been working out too, see?
- Shit!
- Ha-ha!
(Lisa clapping)
- What are you doing to me, babe?
- Yeah, I got you.
- I'm like 25 hundred miles away,
and now I got like blue
balls for the next 14 days.
- I mean hey, you won't be away long.
And then when you come back,
it's just going to be great.
- Maybe I'll just walk
back during quarantine.
- Hey, I will meet you halfway.
- All right, where would that be?
- Yeah.
- Like somewhere in like middle of Texas?
- I think so, I think it would be.
- All right.
- I think it would be.
We could probably go see Avery.
- Oh God, what is she up to?
- Yeah
- No nevermind I don't care.
(Lisa laughing)
Sorry.
(static buzzing)
- No, I will.
I'll be safe, you be safe.
You're the one who's-
- Hold on, hold on,
somebody's at the door.
- Okay.
Who is that?
- That was weird.
- Who is, aren't you supposed to be like-
- It was nobody.
- Quarantining?
It's nobody's at your door?
- Yeah nobody, I'm serious.
It's like the fifth time it's
happened the past couple days.
It's weird.
I think it's like,
'cause this complex
they have me staying in,
there's like kids and
stuff that live here,
so I imagine it's them, I don't know.
I'm going to talk to the manager probably.
See if there's like security
cameras or something.
No, it's just stupid kids.
It's nobody, promise.
(Lisa clears throat)
- Yeah, alright.
- Hey so I have one request,
because I miss you so much
and you look so great.
- Oh my fucking God.
- Can you like-
- No you're not.
- Put like a little, let's call
it an audition video for me?
(Lisa laughing)
And send it to me?
Come on.
(Lisa laughing)
Come on.
Who can resist this?
- Okay.
- This face, huh?
- You know what?
Because you're positive
and I know you're going to be at home.
- It would make me feel better.
- I will make you feel better.
I got you, don't worry.
It's going to be great.
It's going to be a 10 out of 10 I promise.
- Perfect, all right.
- I'm going to hold you too it.
- I'll set the whole mood and everything.
I got you.
- I'm gonna hold you to it.
- Alright, don't worry about it.
- All right babe, so I'm
going to got find out
what they're doing for dinner tonight.
'Cause I don't even know
how I'm going to eat, so.
- All right.
Well hopefully you figure
out who was at your door.
- I hope so too.
Make that video, make the video.
- All right, well, I'll
talk to you later babe.
- All right babe, love you.
- I will, all right bye.
Bye. Love you too.
Hi babe.
So.
(Lisa laughing)
I'm not nervous, anyway.
Grab your wine and your lotion
and whatever else that you may need,
so that you can have a
good time with me, cheers!
I know how much that you like my legs.
And I just wanted to do a
little something for you
to let you know that I appreciate you.
And I hope that you feel better.
(knocking on door)
What time is it?
What's-?
I don't know, did you-?
Did you, did you send me something?
Did you send me something,
'cause you knew I was going
to be doing your video tonight
and you wanted me to put
on something special?
(knocking on door)
Okay, well I guess they're
not gonna leave it out there.
(Lisa sighing)
(water sloshing)
All right.
(static buzzing)
What the fuck?
(loud knocking on door)
(Lisa screaming)
Oh my God.
Yeah, just leave it there.
(knocking on door)
(Lisa screaming)
Oh my God!
(Lisa exclaiming)
Dude seriously?
What the fuck, just leave it on the-
(door swinging open)
(distant upbeat music)
(static buzzing)
(distant upbeat music)
That was fuckin' weird.
I literally got a knife to protect myself.
'Cause the fucking banging
on my fuckin' door.
(door clicking shut)
(lock clicking)
(loud knocking on door)
(Lisa screaming)
- Oh my God!
(pounding on door)
(loud pounding on doors and windows)
What the fuck?
Dude that felt-
(Lisa breathing heavily)
What the fuck?
(lock clicking open)
(door opening)
(distant upbeat music)
(door clicking shut)
(Lisa sighing)
(door clicking shut)
- All right, so-
(knife clattering)
(Lisa laughing exasperated)
Whew, that was weird.
All right, brush it off, brush it off.
We're just gonna, we're
gonna do this again.
I know that I heard something.
(load knocking on door)
(Lisa screaming)
Oh my-!
(Lisa breathing heavily)
I have a knife!
And I swear to-
I will fuckin' call the cops!
Get out of my house!
(Lisa breathing heavily)
Okay.
Okay.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
(Lisa laughing breathlessly)
What the fuck.
(Lisa taking slow deep breaths)
(window clicking shut)
(Lisa taking slow deep breaths)
Okay, I don't know what that was.
I don't know what that was.
Okay.
(water sloshing)
Okay.
Okay so-
(Lisa clearing throat)
I don't know what that was.
And it kinda creeped me out.
I don't know.
I locked myself in the bathroom.
(Lisa laughing)
I don't know.
I don't know what that was,
maybe I just drank too much wine?
Ya know, I just miss you.
And I hope that watching me shave
and other things that
I'm going to do later,
will just like put you ya know, at ease
and put you in a better
mood and like make you-
(door rattling)
(Lisa gasping)
(door slowly creaking open)
(static buzzing)
Oh my god.
(door creaking open)
(Lisa breathing shakily)
(static buzzing)
(computer chiming)
- Hey!
(Lisa breathing heavily)
- Hey.
- What is wrong with you?
- Oh hey.
Hey, I dunno.
I dunno, dude.
I don't know, I was, I was, I was,
I was in the bath.
I was, I was in the bathtub.
I was, I was making a video for Austin
and then I dunno, there
was, there was a knocking
and I thought like I don't know,
I went to the door of course,
to go like answer the knock.
And then it was just like, it was banging,
it was banging, it was banging.
And then I opened the door, right?
And I don't know, it felt weird.
And then I closed the door
and I think everything's fine,
then there's like banging
inside of the entire,
like, just like in the walls.
It's like, it's in the room.
I don't-
- What are you talking about?
- I don't know, I don't know.
I have no idea.
So I, I'm running through the house,
closing all the doors and
like locking all the windows,
making sure, and there's a window.
There's a window that's open.
And I know that I left no windows open,
because I'm alone in the house.
That's not smart.
That's not smart.
There's a window open.
- Okay but why were you locking
yourself in the bathroom,
first of all?
- I come back to the bathroom-
Dude, I'm, I'm literally in the back.
I back to the bathroom because I'm like,
okay, everything's fine.
The knocking all stopped, right?
And then the knocking starts
pounding on my door again.
Right?
And then I'm like in the
bathroom with the knife,
ready to like defend myself.
- A knife, what?
What are you doing?
- 'Cause somebody is like
rattling at the door.
Yes!
Yes, and then my door, my door opens dude,
and I, oh my-
I don't even, I don't even, I don't.
I have, I locked, I locked,
I locked my bathroom door,
and my door is opening
- Okay, but why did you lock
yourself in the bathroom
when nobody's in your house, first of all?
What were you doing in the bathroom?
- Because somebody was in my house!
Somebody was in my house!
Somebody was in my house!
And I don't know who was in my house.
- Lisa, okay, what were
you doing in the bathroom?
- Nobody's in the house.
I was, I was, I was just making a video.
I was making a video for Austin.
I don't know.
I didn't-
I'm really freaked out.
I have no idea.
- Okay wait, let's go
back to this video part.
You're making a video for
Austin being freaked out?
He gets off on this?
I'm confused.
(Avery laughing)
Honey were you doin'
a little sippy, sippy?
A little drinky, drinking
before you got in the tub?
- Dude.
- [Avery] What were you doing?
- That's not what this is.
That's not what this is.
This is a legitimate scare, okay?
You're making jokes, I
was legitimately scared.
I had a knife.
- I'm scared.
I don't know what you were
doing in the bathroom.
- I was ready to stab somebody!
I was ready to stab-
I was about to fight for
my life, you have no idea.
- Okay tell me about the video.
What were you doing in the video?
Do-do-do-doo-da-do.
What were you doing?
(Avery laughing)
What were you doing?
(Avery laughing)
- It was a whole ambiance,
like I had candles, and like-
(Avery laughing)
- Dude there's like chat rooms about this.
This is legit.
- What do you mean there's
chat rooms about this?
- I'm gonna send this to
you so you can watch it.
- This is just somebody being stupid.
This is serious.
(Lisa laughing)
This is so serious.
- The wind blows things open.
You probably have old pipes.
And if you're playing music
while you're sexy dancing,
the bass probably-
I'm just saying, these
are logical explanations,
but there are people online
saying they're hearing things.
I'm just saying like, when
you're not feeling good,
your mind kind of-
Just watch the videos.
- Yeah
- That's all I'm saying.
- Yeah, maybe-
- Stop shaving your legs
and running around the house
with a knife, first of all.
- I won't, I will, yeah.
(static buzzing)
All right, well, I love you.
- I love you too.
- I'll talk to you later.
I'm going to go call him.
- Okay bye.
- Bye babe.
- Muah!
- Check the house again, and there was,
I mean there was nothing.
The window was open.
I don't know.
I mean, I have the,
I actually have the footage for it,
that I'm actually going
to send it to you now
because I took the footage
as it was happening.
It was so-
- And you didn't leave
a window open earlier?
'Cause like you never do.
- No.
- So that's like the weird thing for me.
- No.
Cause you never leave that window open.
- No, nothing was open.
I ran through the house before
and made sure that everything
was locked, everything.
- I'm so sorry, wow.
(Lisa sighing)
- How are you feeling?
- This is the first day where
it's like a little weird,
you know, like a little like lethargic,
but I'll be fine.
I have a thought and I think
like this seems like something
that Blaine would kind of be behind.
This seems like a stunt
that he would pull,
you know, it's been-
- I don't think so.
If Blaine was doing this,
we wouldn't have to guess
at Blaine is doing this.
You know?
- I just feel that like, you know,
I want you to call the
cops and file a report.
The number one, we just
need to get this on record.
And you know, if this happens again,
tonight or any night, like immediately,
I want you to call the
cops and then call me.
Like, don't even give it a second thought,
don't go investigate.
You, stay in the room, lock the door
and call them and then call me.
- I don't think that a human did this.
I mean, you know?
- That a human wasn't
making like the noises?
- I don't even know what the cops can do.
I don't think so.
- Like you think it like
an animal or something,
or it's just like
something in the structure?
- I honestly do not know, but
the way that this was going,
to be able to unlock a locked door
and to disappear and to not be there.
And then to start at the end,
and it sounds like you're
coming from every wall.
I don't-
(Lisa sighing heavily)
I'm scared.
(engine humming)
(engine humming)
(wind blowing)
(kids chattering)
- Do you think we'll be safe here?
- [Dad] You can't be serious, are you?
- [Child] I'm serious.
- [Dad] We got this RV
hoping you get away from it.
I'm sorry, oh geez.
Let me go.
(static buzzing)
- Guys, I'm trying to sleep.
(static buzzing)
- [Dad] Nothin' outside guys.
Shh, you're gonna wake mom, ssh.
Let me look outside.
(door creaking open)
(crickets chirping)
There's nothing out here.
What are you hearing?
I don't hear it.
- [Child] We heard like a knocking dad.
- [Dad] What?
- [Child] We hear like a knockin'.
- [Dad] Like before?
- [Child] Mmhmm, do you
think it's gonna get us?
- [Dad] I don't.
(loud banging on door)
(static buzzing)
(distant knocking on wall)
(child knocking on wall)
- [Dad] I think it's over that way.
(distant knocking on wall)
(kids knocking on wall)
(distant knocking on wall)
- Where is it?
(knocking on wall)
Who is it?
(static buzzing)
- What is that??
Do you hear that?
- [Man] I did.
(distant knocking)
Where is that?
(door sliding open)
(distant knocking on wall)
(banging on wall)
(loud banging on wall)
- [Woman] Somethings knocking,
what's that knocking?
(knocking on wall)
(static buzzing)
- He should be calling in
the next couple minutes,
or something.
- Good, okay, so I watched all the video,
every single one of them
I watched them like three times.
And it's a hundred percent him.
It's Blaine.
I don't know this guy, but
I know these kind of guys
and it's been a pattern with
him for over a year now.
So when we talk to the cop,
I want that to be the first
thing that you mentioned
that it's your ex that's doing this
because he's just trying to fuck with you.
He's trying to fuck with us.
And so this needs to get on record.
It needs to go in the report immediately.
That he's the one, because I want them to,
I want them to go put a stop to this.
I want them to like, bring
the hammer down on this.
(computer sounding)
- Actually, you know,
he's calling in right now,
so I'm gonna switch over
and then I'm gonna put you on mute too.
So just one second, alright?
- Don't mute, don't mute-
- I'm switching over bye.
(computer dings)
Hi, can you hear me?
- Yes, I can hi Lisa.
So I understand you had
a little bit of a scare
the other night.
- It was a little bit more
than a little bit, but yeah,
something like that.
I was on the phone with
my boyfriend, Austin.
He got a weird knock on his door
and then I got the same
weird knock at my door
and it started like outside of the house.
I went to go check it.
Of course, no one was there.
I opened the door, I checked outside.
Nobody was there.
I closed the door and the knocking starts
in the house,
in the walls.
It kinda sounded like it
was coming from everywhere
and like no particular pinpoint-
- Let me cut you off and
stopped you for one second.
So you and Austin, your boyfriend,
had knocking at your
doors at the same time?
- No, his happened a
couple of hours before mine
when I was on the phone with him.
- Okay, and all right, so
he obviously wasn't home,
but was anybody else at home with you,
another roommate, a
family member, a friend?
Or do you live alone?
- No, I don't live alone.
I live with my boyfriend, but
he is in Florida right now.
Shooting for-
- And what about neighbors?
Did you talk happen to talk
to any of the neighbors
the next day or that evening
and ask them if maybe they heard something
or noticed anybody outside your house?
- I did not.
- You did not, okay.
Okay, so did you happen to
know or notice, excuse me,
anything that went missing
or anything that seems out
of place since this happened?
- There was a window that was open.
And I know for a fact
that I checked every
single window in the house,
every door in the house,
I locked everything.
- But nothing went missing.
So you don't think it was a break in?
- No, I don't think it was a break in.
I'm not sure, honestly, what
any of this is, to be honest.
I don't know.
- Think you happened to know anyone
or have an idea or suspicion of somebody
that might play a trick on
you or might want to scare you
or might come around the
house to check on you or-
- Do I know anyone who would do that?
- Or an X or something that
maybe has some bad intentions
or a friend or anybody, anybody,
any person of interest that might,
you would think would
do something like this
come knocking on your doors
in the middle of the night?
- No, there is no one that I
personally think would do this.
- Okay.
- To me.
- And over the last couple
days before or after,
have you noticed anybody
suspicious around your place
or in your neighborhood?
- No, sir.
- No.
- No, sir.
- And did you happen to be using any drugs
or alcohol that evening?
- I do take medication.
Just something to kind of calm me down,
help my nerves a little bit.
And I, you know,
I think I drank a quarter
of a glass of wine or-
- Okay, so just-
- Yeah, but I didn't take
them at the same time, so.
- Okay, so just a little wine
and a little over the counter
medication, nothing crazy.
And lastly, what about
cameras or recordings
or any kind of security
footage or somethin' like that?
- I do have recordings, I have recordings.
Yes, I recorded it on my
phone and I can definitely,
I can definitely send these to you.
- Sure.
Why don't you, why don't
you go ahead and do that.
You have my contact
information, you have my email,
you have this number, as
well as my cell phone,
feel free to reach out anytime,
but make sure you send
over those recordings.
I'll take a look at them and-
- Definitely.
- Yeah.
Sounds like you had a
little scare, you know,
we live in the big city too,
and there's lots of banging and noise
and crazy things that
happened throughout the nights
and listen, send me what you got.
Okay?
I'll take a look at it
and I'll get back to you
if there's anything I
think I can follow up on
or be of any kind of help with,
and again, feel free
to call me or reach out
if you remember anything else
or if you have any kind of problems again,
but until then just be safe.
And hopefully we don't have
to talk about this again.
And this was just a one night thing.
Yeah?
- Yes.
- All right, Lisa.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
(computer dings)
- Hello?
- Yeah.
- Hey, can you hear me?
- Yeah, I heard everything.
- Yeah.
- So do you want to walk me
through your thought process,
why you didn't mention Blaine?
(Lisa sighing)
I asked you one thing.
And I would've mentioned Blaine,
had you not put me on mute, oddly.
But he, not only did
you not mention Blaine,
you said there is no one,
that you think that would have done this.
So just walk me through
your thought process here,
because I asked you one thing
and that I wanted that on record.
So now I guess I'm going to
have to call this guy back
and get this on the record
or you're gonna have to call him back
because I just don't understand.
(Austin coughing)
I don't understand.
- You don't sound too good.
Maybe you should calm down a little bit.
- I'm fine, I'm fine, I just-
- Okay.
- Tell me why you don't think it's Blaine.
- Well the detective asked me
do I think that someone
personally would do this to me
and I don't think Blaine would
because Blaine isn't in the country.
So it's kind of hard
for Blaine to do that,
If he's not here.
- How do you know that?
Have you been talking to him?
- No, I have not been talking to him,
but I did check his Instagram.
- Then how do you know?
- Oh, so you guys are like
social media buddies still?
You're still clinging to that?
(Lisa laughing)
- Really?
- Yeah, really.
- Am I still claiming to that?
No, I'm not.
I searched for his name on Instagram,
in the search bar to see if
it could potentially be him,
because I kind of figured
that you would sit here
and make this argument with me about it.
But it's not him, because
he's not in the country.
So that's why I didn't say
anything to the detective
because that's just
going to start some stuff
that I don't want to start with him.
- Okay.
(Austin sniffling)
- I mean I can send it to you
if you would like me to, so that you can,
I guess believe me, since you
think something's going on.
- No, I'm not-
This is not about not trusting you, okay?
(Austin sniffling)
I just, I'm not trying
to pick a fight, babe.
I'm just, I'm frustrated
because I'm stuck here in this
place and I should be there.
I should be there with you, you know?
- [Lisa] Yeah, you should.
- I should be the one taking care of this.
Okay but I can't, we discussed this.
I can't right now.
(Austin sniffling)
And you know, I'm just,
I'm asking you a few
things to help me be there,
which is like, you know,
you doing the right thing in this report.
So it's just, I'm frustrated.
- I get it.
- And I'm not trying to pick a fight,
this is not about that.
And I-
Shit, unfortunately, I got to go,
I've got this production call
and they're supposed to give us an update.
We have a checkup tomorrow,
(Austin clearing throat)
and I'm hoping that we'll
have some sort of news
and I might be coming home
sooner rather than later.
And then, I'll take care
of all of this, okay?
So please, it's not about a fight.
It's just, I'm really irritated, okay?
- No I get it.
- But let's not forget.
You did have knocks at your door too,
so that'd be kind of difficult
for Blaine to do both.
- Okay, not related, but
let's not get into that.
We'll talk about it later, okay?
Not related.
- All right.
- All right.
We good, we okay?
- Yup.
- All right, talk to you later babe.
- Who do you think you are?!
- What is it with
the male ego and jealousy,
I don't understand.
They think that like, we're-
- I don't get it.
- We're like secretly trying
to like, just, I don't know,
whatever, they're so weird about that.
- Like what do you think I'm doing?
And then he got mad
because I told him that,
that I checked Blaine's Instagram
and then he was like, oh, so
you guys are still talking?
I'm like, dude, no, I
don't even follow him.
But like, I can type his name in
and see if he's in the country.
Which he's not, so he can't be doing this.
I don't know.
Austin was just being stupid.
Like, and then he got mad and then left.
(static buzzing)
- So I Googled it and looked
up a couple of things.
'Cause you know, me and
my freaking Nancy Drew.
- Yeah.
- Okay.
(both women laughing)
But there are apparently like
other people with the virus
that are hearing this stuff.
I don't know if it's like hallucinations
because of like when, you
know, when you get a fever,
sometimes you don't, you're off?
But there there's like,
there's a lot of people saying
that they had the same
things happen to them
and there's like chat rooms and stuff.
And so I emailed one of the guys in there
and he emailed me back.
- Oh, okay.
- Yeah and he was talking about it.
So I'm going to send it to
you because I don't know.
Maybe it'll help you
to talk to other people
that are dealing with it, I don't know.
I mean, you know, strength
in numbers, but anyway,
do you see, do you see all these?
Do you see all this loveliness?
- Yes, yes, yes, what are we doing?
What's the event?
What are we doing
because it is a pandemic,
so we can't be going out.
- Okay, so you're going
to help me figure out
what I'm going to wearing on
my virtual date with Paxter.
- You're going on a
virtual date with Paxter?
- Yes that's his name.
It's his real name.
- That's his real name?
Did you see like an identification card?
Maybe a passport?
- Okay, first of all, his
dad is from Lake Norway
and his mom's from Hawaii.
So people named their
kids, weird things anyway.
At least it's not like a fruit like apple.
I'm just saying it's his real name.
I'm going to find out why.
- Yeah.
- I'm going to find out
why they named him that,
but he's super cute,
and he's really sweet.
And I want to be like, I want to be sexy,
but not like too sexy, like 900 number.
'Cause it's all video chat stuff.
And guys right now are like,
ooh, send me hot videos,
which I'm not going to do that.
(static buzzing)
So I'm definitely not wearing
these Urkel sweat pants,
even though they're super sexy.
- Yes, I feel it.
I would date you if you had
those on, on our virtual date.
- I'm thinking, maybe this
skirt, because I just got it.
I just ordered it.
- Okay, okay.
- I mean, obviously I'm not
going to leave the house,
so it needs to be something
fun, but like, okay.
So here's this.
- Yeah, what if, I don't know.
- Are we doing a little glitter action?
- What do you think, is it too Brittany?
- I think, I dunno.
I feel at multi-colors, that's
what's really getting me.
You know what I'm saying?
It's like, hi, I'm a mermaid, how are you?
How do you feel about it?
That's all that matters.
- Okay fine, you don't like
it, I can tell by your voice.
Okay, this, you see this?
Fine, no, okay.
What about red?
(women laughing)
Do we like red?
- I think red might be too much passion.
- Hang on, I have one more.
I have one more, hang on.
- Okay.
- This one I think is going to be it.
- Okay, let's see.
- I know it's yellow.
- Nice butt.
- And you know I love yellow, but hang on.
Hang on, hang on.
- [Lisa] Okay, okay, let me see it!
- Don't make fun of my
old lady gray sports bra.
- Are you working out, you look so good!
What have you been doing out there?
- Okay, hang on.
- Ooh, mama sita yeah!
(Lisa clapping)
Literally don't wear
anything, just wear that.
- Hang on.
- Just wear like
your sports bra and your
underwear and that's it,
that's all.
- [Avery] Yes?
- [Lisa] Yes, absolutely, yes.
(Lisa clapping)
Yes!
- Okay. Yay.
Oh wait, without this
underneath though obviously.
- Yellow is a must, but what about,
I mean, we need earrings, we need jewelry.
- Oh I have, hang on, hang on.
- I don't know, maybe like a little-
- I have hoops, hang on.
- Maybe even like a little
perfume, I don't know.
- What, like you can smell
me through the computer?
Get off it.
Hang on.
- Oh, like I feel like pheromones
could probably pass through technology.
You know what I'm saying?
Like hello, hi.
- Virtual pheromones, I highly doubt it.
Okay.
- You know what I'm saying?
Like I know you smell this.
I know you smell me.
- No, no, no.
You don't want to say,
I know you smell this.
That's like the wrong
thing to say to a guy.
(women laughing)
Okay first of all-
- Hey baby,
I know you smell this.
- Never, ever, ever, ever, say that, ever!
Good God!
Do you think I should do
a sexy video for Paxter
like you did for Austin?
Oh, that's, oh man.
- And if I say hi, no?
What 'cause I can't dance like you?
- My video didn't really
work out for Austin though.
- So if I walked toward
you and you're a guy.
(Lisa clapping)
Yes?
- Yes, I'd be like, oh my God!
Who is that hot mama?
Who is she?
I need a her number now!
That would be me.
That's just be like at the
other table in the restaurant,
hyping you up as you walk by.
- At the other table?
Oh my God, what would I do without you?
- I was like, oh my God,
she's so hot isn't she?
Yeah.
(loud banging on door)
(Lisa panting)
(door creaking open slowly)
Oh my god!
(Lisa gasping for air)
Okay, whew.
Okay.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
Okay, all right, okay.
(static buzzing)
(door clicking open)
(Lisa breathing heavily)
Why is my door open?
Oh fuck.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
Fuck, fuck.
Fuck, fuck, fuck.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
(door creaking shut)
(Lisa breathless)
oh, fuck.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
I already locked the door.
Oh my God, oh my God, Oh my God.
Its okay, its okay.
(static buzzing)
- And you're sure you locked the door?
- I locked the door.
I know I locked the door the
whole house is locked up.
- Okay, so what did the
detective say about that?
Did they check and see if somebody
had like forced the lock open?
Did they have a key?
- I mean yeah.
But he pretty much kind
of just looked at me.
'Cause I keep telling
him about the knocking
and what's going on before it happens.
And he's kind of giving me the side eye.
Like he doesn't believe me.
And I'm like, I'm not crazy.
Like I know that something's
going on in the house.
- Okay.
- I don't know.
- So what did he say about Blaine then?
Did you say anything?
- I did not tell him about Blaine,
that doesn't even make sense.
- You didn't tell him
about Blaine, of course.
- I mean logical solutions here, please.
- Of course.
So you feel like you're going crazy.
I feel like I'm going crazy,
but because I keep having
the same conversations,
like over and over and over,
I ask you one simple thing
and that it's to simply
tell the detectives
about your crazy ex boyfriend.
- Just because you
asked me to do something
doesn't mean that I have to do it.
- Okay, it is our house
that he's coming into.
- That doesn't make sense for me to do.
- It is my girl.
- Because I keep trying
to tell you he's not here.
- Listen the door was open.
He follows you on social media is still
so he knows you're home alone.
Everybody who follows you
knows you're home alone.
And we know what that guy's capable of.
Okay, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving.
That's all I have to say.
It's amazing how you
conveniently forget Thanksgiving.
- I don't-
- We had to move Lisa.
- I don't conveniently
forget about anything.
- We had to move our home
because of what he did.
- Okay!
- And you just completely
wipe that from your memory.
And I told you, when we moved-
- No I did not.
- We needed a building with
security and you were like,
no, we don't need-
And the only reason I wanted
a building with security
is because of him.
Nobody else.
I wasn't worried about
anyone else, except him.
And now all of my worries are coming true
because you refuse to listen to me.
And that's all I asked
and you won't do it.
- I refused to listen to you?
- Yes.
- Because you're not making sense.
That does not make sense.
We both know Blaine.
That doesn't make sense.
- Oh, you really know him.
- He's, I mean, yeah, of
course I really know him.
What the, what the fuck does that mean?
- You know what it means.
- Of course I really know him.
I used to date him.
Yes we're all aware.
- And with that being said,
I know what he would do.
He's not going to sneak in my
house with a backdoor stupid.
- You don't think he
would sneak in our house?
Out of what he did before?
- He's not gonna sneak in the house.
That makes no sense.
- Out of what he did before?
Like do we-
- He's gonna be-
If Blaine was here, we
would know it was Blaine.
He's not gonna have us
guessing if it's Blaine or not.
- You practically invited him
into my home, into our home.
You invited him.
- Into your home?
So it's only your home now?
- You invited him, okay?
Bottom line, fix this.
Talk to the detective.
Tell him about your ex, your
crazy fucking ex boyfriend.
- Hi, love.
I just want to leave you a quick message.
I know you're working late,
but I am about to start dinner, I'm home.
And I actually got all of-
the way we are so ready to go for-
Oh, and look who wants to say hi.
Shermy, you want to say hi?
Say hi.
(glass thudding and crashing)
(woman gasping)
(fruit basket squeaking)
Oh my god.
(woman gasping)
(static buzzing)
(silence humming)
(static buzzing)
- Weird scratching noise.
And I'm the only one here, okay.
But look at my kitchen.
Like I woke up and it
was like this and I mean,
look at my oven.
I don't know what's going on.
(door slamming)
(woman screaming)
(static buzzing)
(banging on door)
(banging on door)
- You're hearing that right?
Obviously something's
breaking down the door.
Hello?
(thudding on door)
Oh my God.
(banging on door)
Hello?
Hello?
(light clicking on)
(doors creaking open)
(doors slamming shut)
(woman screaming)
(static buzzing)
- Okay so I have been studying these cases
that have been coming in
these videos of people, hearing
knocking and scratching,
and that feeling that
they seem to describe
of having something in
the house with them.
(man sighing)
I can't seem to find any
patterns that really stick out.
It feels like something else is there.
It just being medical is not
the reason I left med school
to figure out what is going on with this.
There's something else involved,
something that feels strange.
We've been chatting in this
chat group that I created
of people who are
experiencing these things
just to get more information.
But whatever this thing is,
it's a plague.
- [Man] I'm recording you guys.
Yep, I'm recording you
every single night now.
Worthless piece of shit security cameras.
But I'm gonna get you.
I'm gonna get you.
(static buzzing)
And then you're done.
Yeah that's, right, then you're done.
You guys up there?
You up there?
No?
Awe man, fuck.
My head's hurtin' so bad.
I can't get any fuckin' sleep.
(distant banging on door)
All damn night.
Okay, ya, here we go.
Are you down here?
My fucking head.
My head hurts so bad.
(man coughing)
Fuck, all right, there we go.
Come on, keep it together.
I got this, I got this.
I got you.
Yeah they're laughin' now.
They're fuckin' laughin' now.
If I catch these guys, mhm.
You guys here?
You just keep runnin',
you just keep on runnin'.
Knockin' every fuckin' night.
Okay, here we go.
(door clicking shut)
All right you little fuckers.
Knockin' every fuckin night'.
If I catch you little fuckers,
I'm gonna fuckin' kill you.
(static buzzing)
- Yeah, so right before
that was all the, you know,
it was the same, like that
pounding, knocking noise.
And then it turned into like
this scraping thing, you know,
almost like almost like a tree
branch or a limb or something
was scraping along the
side of the building.
And so yeah, when I went
outside, there was like nothing.
And I talked to the building
manager and he was like,
you know I talked to him three times
and he was like, no, there's nothing.
And there's no trees nearby and what-
- [Lisa] So there's like nothing around.
- [Austin] What are you doing babe?
- [Lisa] I'm checking
for noises right now.
So Avery sent me something
about this paranormal group
and she sent me all these videos and stuff
and they sound like exactly,
like what you're going through.
- Like paranormal group,
like investigators or people who are like-
- Like I mean, it's a group
of people that I guess,
you know, everyone's experiencing
the exact same things so,
you know-
- Okay.
- And it sounds so similar
to what you're saying is going on.
And then also from the videos
that you sent me yesterday of
like no one being being there,
like everyone-(hands smacking)
- Oh, okay.
- Yeah.
So this may sound like a
stretch, but do you think
like these videos that Avery is seeing
and like all these
people are seeing online?
Like, do you think that
maybe Blaine saw them?
And so he's trying to use
them to maybe, you know,
do what he's doing to you.
And does he have like friends
or family or something
like in Florida that they're coming here
and doing the same, just to fuck with us.
Like, I'm just trying to come up with
some sort of explanation,
you know, like I-
(Austin coughing)
- Are you okay?
How are you feeling right now?
- I'm fine.
I'm fine, I'm just, you know, the same.
You're saying you think it's this group,
like, what do you think
this group specializes in,
like, what are they, what are they saying?
- What do you mean what
do they specialize in?
It's just everyone kind
of giving their, you know,
degree of what happened to them,
and like what they're going through.
And it's pretty much,
everyone's kind of going
through the same thing
to a different degree.
Some people it just started.
Some people though, I guess,
have already been dealing
with it for a couple of months
or days or weeks, I don't even know.
- Like the same like the noises and stuff
and like the doors?
- Yes,
The scratching, the doors,
having stuff open that shouldn't be open,
having stuff move,
having knocking inside
and outside of the house,
feeling like they let something in.
I felt like that when I
opened that stupid door,
when I first thought the knocking.
- Listen, I'm just saying that, like,
I think because there's so many videos
that Blaine could really
be at the heart of this
and like, he-
- All right you know what?
- He's the one-
Hey babe,
babe, listen, come here, please.
- Lisa I think the security
cameras are a really good idea.
It's going to make you feel nice and safe.
Now we are in the middle of a pandemic.
We're not even sure of
all the symptoms yet,
so I need to know, have you been tested?
- No.
- Okay.
So one of the first things we need to do
is let's get you tested,
does that make sense?
- Okay.
- And you are taking your meds, right?
- Yes, yes.
- Good, good girl.
You're not mixing
anything with those meds?
- Just some wine.
- Lisa, I get that you
want to have a drink,
but you know that you cannot
mix wine with your meds.
I mean, we're looking at potential
hallucinations, seizures.
I don't want this for you.
I don't want what happened
four years ago to happen again.
- Okay.
- We made a promise to each
other that we would work it.
And one of those things
was no mixing anything with your meds.
- Okay, but this is not four years ago.
Everything's okay now, okay?
I will stop drinking wine.
It's fine.
Yes, I will do it.
- Does Austin know about the episode?
- No.
- Okay.
- No.
- Have you thought to tell him?
Having Austin understand
what you've been through
and that support's really important?
So why not?
- I mean, to be honest, it
just hasn't been a good time.
You know, what happened
isn't necessarily something
that you can just pop into a conversation.
I mean, we've only been
together for about a year now
and everything's been really good.
I honestly just don't really
want to wreck anything
right now.
- Oh, of course I get that.
But I want you to see if
maybe you can work it in,
just so that I know you've
got some more support.
Now I'm really glad that
we had this session booked,
but let's put you in for another one,
so that I can check in with you.
I want that test and no more
mixing the wine with the meds.
Okay?
- Okay.
- Okay.
(ominous rattling)
Oh my God.
(Lisa breathing hard)
Okay it's just boxes,
it's just boxes.
(Lisa laughing franticly)
I'm going crazy, oh my God.
(Lisa breathing hard)
(door clicking shut)
It's okay.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
It's okay, it's okay.
It's okay, it's just, its just-
It's just-
I don't even know, it's
just craziness, it's okay.
It's okay.
(static buzzing)
(Lisa breathing heavy)
(Lisa crying)
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
(static buzzing)
- All through the house,
they checked everything.
I'm not really sure what they did.
I kind of stayed in my
room the whole time.
- To get like fingerprints and stuff?
- I think so, I don't-
I hope so, I hope they found something.
I don't, I really don't know.
I really don't know.
- I looked at the security cameras today,
the tracking number,
and they should be there
in a couple of days, so.
- Okay.
I also told them about
Blaine and to check his alibi
and make sure that he isn't the one
that's actually doing this.
- Good, okay. Finally.
- Yeah.
(computer dinging)
- This is Avery.
(computer chimes)
Hey girl.
- Hey.
- What's goin' on?
- Hey Avery.
- Oh, hey.
- Oh Austin's here.
- How are you?
- So I was just calling
to see if you guys wanted
to join this chat room.
It's by private invite only.
So I have to send you a link,
but I think it would really be helpful.
- Wait, is this the
paranormal, like crazy people?
(Avery clearing her throat)
Those guys?
- It's people that are
having the same experiences.
So I'm just trying-
- Thank you.
- To be helpful, care about
y'all, just want to make sure-
- Let me stop you there,
while I appreciate that,
I don't think it's going to be beneficial
because Lisa just talked to the detective
and they're going to handle
the Blaine thing, you know,
and they're going to
get this taken care of.
And I think we're, you know,
that would just be kind
of spinning our wheels
and chasing whatever
that is you're chasing.
- Avery, where's Blaine?
- Well Blaine's in another country.
So that's kind of not-
- Exactly, Blaine's in another country.
- So says his Instagram.
- You know what?
Avery, babes,
I definitely need to sign
up for the group chat.
I don't know what's going on.
- So you wanna do it?
- I feel like there's
something in my room.
- Yes, he was in your room!
He was in your room.
- No, it was not him!
It was something else,
and I'm trying to tell you
that there is something else in my room.
I feel it!
- That's it, I'm coming home.
- Guys!
- No I don't give a shit.
- That doesn't make sense!
- I don't care about the production.
- Guys!
- What kind of sense does that make?
- Guys chill out.
It doesn't need to be something crazy.
We're just going to talk to people.
That's all I'm asking for you to do.
Don't get on a plane.
- [Lisa] I'm down.
- Clearly you're sick Austin.
Like, let's just, you're
not going to go anywhere.
You're sitting at home.
- I'm fine, thank you for your concern.
- You're coughing!
I just heard you cough.
- [Avery] Listen I'm not
trying to be a bitch,
I'm just saying it can't hurt
to talk to other people that-
- I was clearing my throat.
- Oh my God, okay.
He's clearing his throat, I'm-
All right, anyway, babes,
sign me up, please.
- Okay I-
- You guys have fun, have fun.
- We will, and we'll figure this out.
- I want a full report.
(Lisa laughing)
(ominous noise rattling)
(man breathing heavily)
(light switch clicking)
- Hello?
Hey who's-
All right, I'm coming down, all right?
(door creaking open)
Shit!
(camera thudding)
(static buzzing)
(distant banging)
What the fuck is that?
What the fuck is that?
(door creaking open)
Hey!
Hey, stay right-!
Stay right there!
I called the cops.
(distant knocking)
(man breathing heavily)
Fuck.
(loud knocking on door)
What the fuck is that?
What the fuck is happening?
(Man laughing frantically)
Okay.
Get the fuck outta here.
Get the fuck outta here.
(man gasping)
(light clicking off)
Okay, okay.
(man gasping)
(man whimpering)
(light clicking off)
(man laughing in hysterics)
You've got to be fucking kidding me.
(light clicking on and off)
There we go, come on.
(man grumbling)
Okay.
Fuck!
(loud knocking on door)
Shit!
Shit!
Yeah, who is it?
(loud knocking on door)
I'm comin', I'm comin'.
Who's there, hello?
Hey, I've called the cops okay?
(scratching on door)
(lock clicking open)
(man gasping)
What the fuck just happened?
What the fuck just happened?
- [Anonymous Voice] Austin?
(Austin whimpering)
Austin?
- [Austin] I'm coming in.
- [Anonymous Voice] Austin?
- [Austin] Okay.
What the fuck just-
What the fuck is this?
Okay (door creaking shut)
No, no, no, no.
(door clicking shut)
(static buzzing)
- Hey everybody.
Thanks for being here, Austin, Lisa,
thanks for being here.
I'm Jared.
I'm sorry.
I just wanted to say
if I seem a little off,
it's I got some pretty bad news.
I just found out that one
of our group chat members
just died last night.
- Oh my God, I'm so sorry
So I'm sorry if I'm a little rattled.
- Jared, who?
Who?
- It was Christina.
- Christina's dead?
(woman sighing)
- Yeah.
So, Lisa, Austin, thank
you for being here.
Thank you for sending us your videos.
We hope that we can use that information
so that we can not have another
scenario like this again.
So thank you for being here,
Jen and I felt it was
important to just jump on
and talk to you guys about everything.
So let's just kind of get into it.
And so Lisa, from what I
can tell on your videos,
you were experiencing the
knocking that's happening outside
and I'm assuming inside, from what I saw.
- Yes, I have experienced
both of those things.
Absolutely, so.
- [Jared] Okay.
And you're hearing the
scratching and the open windows
and open doors, and a ransacked room
moments after you've left it.
Does that sound right?
- [Lisa] Yeah.
And Austin you're experiencing
the same things, right?
Just to somewhat of a
lesser degree right now?
- Yeah, I mean, it's
not exactly like that.
And you know, in Lisa's case,
we think we know who's doing
it, but you know, here we are.
- So I guess we'll just
jump into the stages.
Jenna, do you want to, you
feel up for talking about that?
- Wait stages of what?
- So that there seems to
be stages to this thing.
So stage one is you, knocking.
So you're going to hear
a knocking at your door.
And some, I think some of y'all
might've experienced that already.
And the knocking does not stop until,
until you open the door.
Once you open the door, some people say
it's like, something comes in.
Then the knocking moves
from outside to inside.
So you'll just hear random
knocking like all over.
Then it's like, nothing is
where it's supposed to be.
So you put something
somewhere and it's just,
it's not there anymore.
Like, doors open by themselves, you know,
you close the closet door and
all of a sudden it's open.
- Yes.
- You know?
So it seems like the second to the,
it seems like the second to the last step,
is you start to hear scratching,
like just a little bit of
scratching and then it gets,
it just gets louder and louder.
- What's the last stage,
because you said it
was the second to last.
- Yeah.
But the last stage is,
you die.
It's death.
- Austin, I fucking told
you, that it wasn't Blaine.
I told you, I have literally experienced
every single one of those
things that she said,
and I kept telling you,
that it wasn't Blaine.
- Not exactly the same way.
- It is exactly the same.
What are you talking about?
I told you, and you got the knock first.
- So all of these stages
are things that Christina
experienced before she died.
- Okay, has anybody tried leaving,
like getting out of their home,
going somewhere else?
- Yeah.
Yes, yes, yes.
Christina tried that, I tried it too.
I even slept in my car.
It just follows you.
It just, it just follows you.
- [Avery] Follows you?
- I mean, there's another explanation
that it's whatever this thing is,
that comes around every
100 years for a visit,
only comes when there's global pandemics.
- Because this is the pandemic.
This is the pan-
This is it.
This is, this is it.
This is the plague.
- I'm not following exactly
the logic on any of this.
I want to.
- There is no logic.
It's just happening.
Did you hear the knock at your door?
Did you hear a knock?
If you heard a knock, it's started.
- I've heard some of the same things, yes.
- Guys-
- Let's just time out
for a second okay Jenna?
They're reaching out to
us for some help okay?
We have to just play nice here.
- But Jared, I understand but there is-
What is-
Christina is dead, Christina is dead.
Like what is to help?
- Austin, three months ago,
- [Austin] Yeah.
- if someone was telling
me what I'm telling you
I probably would've reacted the same way.
But we have found documented confessions,
written records of people
experiencing these things
all the way back to 250 A D, okay?
During the Cyprian plague, at its height
that plague killed 5,000
people, 5,000 people a day,
in Rome.
And that lasted for 20 years.
Okay?
We have these records of it happening
during the Justinian plague,
during the great plague of London,
the third grade plague, the black plague,
even as recent as the cholera outbreak,
the list goes on and on.
The symptoms are different
for these different diseases.
But one through line is,
that there are records
of people experiencing
this knocking, the scratching,
the feeling that somebody is there.
- So you're saying then,
and correct me if I'm wrong,
but you're making the
connection then that,
that it's come back around again?
This, whatever you guys are talking about,
that's the connection
you're trying to make.
Is that, am I following
correctly with that?
- Whatever it seems to be.
Whatever this thing is,
seems like it's something that
comes along with a plague.
- And it's not.
And I think what I think
what we have to understand is
it seems like whatever this is,
it's not about it being inside you.
It's all around you.
I don't, you know what I mean?
It's all around you.
- I just, it just, there's
a lot of non-answers here.
I'm sorry.
- Look, I'm sorry there's no definitive.
I wish there were.
Okay?
I wish there was a definitiveness,
- Do you know what the answer-
I'll tell you what the answer is y'all,
and I'm being real with you,
honestly, we're all gonna die.
I'm gettin' a drink.
Fuck this.
- Look, I am working to find
a definitive list of answers
on how you can make this better.
I will figure that out,
but for now you just have to
stay as positive as you can,
stay strong, and stay
as healthy as you can.
I'm serious, I'm going to find this, okay?
- So you mean to tell me,
that you can't help us?
- I will, we'll figure
something out together.
I'm hoping that from your videos,
from all the research that we're doing,
even if we don't find an
immediate cure right now,
I'm hoping that all of
this collective information
will help somebody soon.
Maybe the next group of people.
- Jared, Jared, Jared,
- The next group of people?
- I just have to say you are
super cute to be so positive.
Just give it up, give it up.
It's done.
Just make your peace y'all,
just make your peace.
Salute!
- So that was, that was a lot.
I want you to, to let me know,
as soon as you hear from
detective baker, okay?
And those guys, and just
see what they find out,
'cause I feel like they're probably
going to be on to something there.
And those, you know, those
cameras that are coming,
like, as soon as you get those, call me,
I'll help you set them up.
And babe, as soon as I'm cleared to fly,
I'm on a plane, I'm home.
Babe it's my-
- Yeah?
Yeah, it's my choice.
I don't give a damn about
the production anymore
and I can choose to come home if I want.
And that's what I want, because I'm just,
I feel like you and I been
at each other's throats,
you know, and we're not on the same page.
And I know that 99.9% of that's my fault,
and-
- It's not all you.
- Okay, well, 50% of it's your fault.
That's a joke, that's a joke.
You know, I'm joking.
(Lisa laughing)
But I just think-
- Are you okay?
- No, I'm just tired.
- Are you okay?
What's goin' on?
- I'm tired.
I'm just tired
- Okay.
- And I just need to to like sleep.
It was a lot of conversation, you know?
- Yeah, it was, it was a lot.
- I want you to know that
you're going to be okay.
We're going to be okay.
You know, I'll be home soon.
You're you're getting
these cameras set up.
So we're just going to
make sure you're safe.
And, (Austin Coughing)
and I won't cough in
your face when I'm there.
And I'm on the tail end of this
thing, you know, it's just,
I'm like, I'm tired of Florida.
- Come home, then.
- I'm gonna come home.
I'm coming home, I'm coming home, okay?
- You don't hear, are you,
are you sure that you're?
I don't know, you keep looking back.
- Oh, do I know.
- Yeah, do you hear something?
Do you hear something?
- No, I don't.
It's like the neighbors make
a lot of noise and stuff.
And I'm just, I don't know,
I guess I'm just so tired.
I'm tired.
But you're going to be good, we're good.
Okay, I need to sleep.
I need to sleep.
Okay?
- Okay.
- All right.
You look very cute.
- Thanks, I appreciate it.
(Austin coughing)
- I know that's sexy, but yeah.
(Lisa laughing)
Always at a hundred percent.
Love it.
- That's what you got right now.
All right.
I love you.
- I love you and I,
(Lisa sighing)
let's not argue anymore, okay?
I just want you to come home.
- No mas, okay.
- We won't argue anymore.
- As soon as I'm cleared
to fly, I am on the next plane, okay?
- All right babe
- All right, go to sleep.
- I'll talk to you later
- I'll talk to you later, I love you.
- Love you too.
(loud scratching on walls)
Shut up!
(static buzzing)
(door creaking open)
(ominous growling)
(static buzzing)
- Unfortunately, Lisa,
this is where we're at.
We didn't come up with anything.
The lab didn't give us
anything conclusive back,
no fingerprints or nothing.
And we also looked into
Blaine and he checks out,
the alibi matches up.
- Okay, okay but here's the thing.
Here's the thing though.
You gotta hold on, because
there was knocking, right?
There was knocking on the door
(Lisa banging on door)
There was knocking coming outta this door,
there was knocking coming from the walls,
There was knocking, you
know, from the bathroom.
Like there was knocking,
there was banging,
there is stuff scratching and-
- Lisa, you need to calm down.
- And then there's a bunch of
stuff that's going on, right?
And you're telling me that
you don't have anything
to help me, at all right?
- Lisa, listen to me just
for a second, please.
I want to help you,
- [Lisa] But you're not.
- But, well, I need a little
bit more than knocking
and banging noises, and I need
a lot more than chat groups.
Now, can I just give you
some advice real quick
about a chat group, these
things they seem appealing,
but I know you're looking for answers.
Let's put it that way.
- There are people dying.
- And I know when you're
stuck at home alone
for long periods of time,
it's nice to have people to talk to.
(Lisa exclaiming)
But in my experience,
the people in these groups
have lots of ulterior motives,
- Oh my-!
- Whether it's relationships.
Whether its for money.
(computer dinging)
- That, all the
fingerprints and stuff that,
that none of it's-
That they can't get anything from it.
And now you're not answering your phone.
And I really need for you to answer.
Please answer your phone,
please, please, please, please,
please answer your phone.
Okay, I'm going to try
you again, I don't know.
I'm not feeling too well.
I'm really hoping that you
feel a little bit better
than I do, I don't know.
You know what I'm saying?
I don't really know what's going on here,
but you're not answering your phone.
I'm not feeling good.
And, you know what, it's
okay, it's all right.
It's okay, it's okay.
I'm going to try you again and that's it.
I'm just gonna, I'm just
gonna try you again.
Okay.
I miss you, bye.
- Hey, what's up?
- Hey, have you heard from the police yet?
- Police?
What are you talking about.
- Austin?
- What about Austin?
- You don't know?
I can't believe I'm the
one telling you this.
- No, what do you mean I don't know, what?
Spit it out!
What's going on?
- Austin killed himself last night.
(static buzzing)
- Lisa, tell me what's going on.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
- Can you hear that?
- It's okay, sweetheart.
Just tell me what's going on.
- Can you hear that?
Can you hear that?
- No, no, I can't hear anything.
- Please tell me you can hear that.
Can you hear the knocking?
- No, Lisa, there's no knocking.
- Can you hear the scratching?
- Can you sit down-
- Stop!
- Lisa?
- Oh my God!
- Lisa no I cannot hear the scratching.
Please come and sit back down.
- You have to hear it, you have to hear.
- Lisa, Lisa, I need you to
come sit back down please.
- Can you not hear anything?!
Can you not hear anything?!
- Lisa please!
(Lisa hyperventilating)
Please just deep breathe with me.
- Oh my god!
- Lisa okay, I am getting a colleague
to come and check on you.
Lisa, please, relax.
(Lisa deep breathing)
Focus, calm down.
- Okay, okay, okay I-
- Okay, I am getting a colleague
to come and check on you.
- Oh my god stop, stop, stop, stop!
Stop, Stop!
- Lisa, Lisa.
- Can you hear that?
Oh my God!
- Lisa!
- Okay I gotta go.
I gotta, I gotta go.
(static buzzing)
(loud banging on doors and walls)
(Lisa breathing heavily)
Okay,
okay.
(Loud banging on doors and walls)
(Lisa crying)
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
(Loud banging on doors and walls)
Okay.
(scratching on walls)
Oh my God!
Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop!
(static buzzing)
(loud knocking and banging
on doors and walls)
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
(Lisa crying)
(ominous scratching and
creaking and banging)
Okay!
Stop, stop, stop, stop!
(door creaking open)
(Lisa crying)
(Lisa gasping for air)
Oh my God!
Oh my God!
(loud pounding on doors and walls)
(Lisa crying)
(computer dinging)
Okay, okay.
(computer dinging)
Avery, Avery, Avery I
don't know what's going on!
- Lisa where have you been?
I've been trying to call you for hours.
(Lisa hyperventilating)
Honey, calm down, I need to talk to you.
Lisa.
Lisa listen, something-
- Do you hear that?
- Something happened to Austin.
(Lisa whimpering)
Have you talked with Jared?
- No, I have not talked to Jared.
No.
- Okay, honey, listen, listen.
I need to-
- What, what, what, what, yes, yes?
- Lisa, look at me.
Look at me, look at me, please.
- Okay, okay, okay I'm looking.
- Look at me.
You know I love you right?
More than anything.
- Yeah.
Yes, I love you too, yes, yes.
(Lisa breathing heavily)
- Honey, Austin's dead.
He cut his throat, he killed himself.
I just didn't want you to
hear it from anybody else.
I'm so sorry.
(Lisa in hysterics)
- Oh my God!
Oh my God do you hear that?
Do you hear that?
- I'm here for you.
(Lisa screaming)
(door slamming)
(static buzzing)
(fabric rustling)
- Hello?
Who is it?
(static buzzing)
Austin?
How did you get my number, man?
It's four in the morning, what's going on?
Are you all-?
I can't hear you.
Austin, I can't hear you, you're muted.
You're muted.
(static buzzing)
Where-
What the fuck, where's he going?
Austin, are you there, what
the hell is going on, man?
What, what are you doing Austin?
Put the knife down.
Austin!
Why do you have a knife?
Put the knife down!
Stop!
What?!
(static buzzing)
What?!
(static buzzing)
Austin!
What the fuck!
(static buzzing)
(static buzzing)
- I got no forced entry.
I got no fingerprints.
I got no DNA other than the
victims inside the crime scene.
I also have in front of
me, the official autopsy,
they both died from a stroke.
- I'm sorry, a stroke?
- They both died of a natural causes.
- Okay, first of all, they both were sick.
And my friend's been on
medication for forever.
This is not natural causes,
nothing about this as natural.
I don't understand.
- They both were just
found lying on the floor.
And the autopsy shows that
again, this is natural causes.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry for your loss.
- Detective this is my
best, you don't understand.
This is my best friend.
I'm not lying.
I'm not making this up.
This is real.
- No one's saying that
you're making anything up.
What I am saying though,
is that the autopsy shows
otherwise, if you have-
- Well who's doing the autopsy?!
I mean-
- Again Avery, I'm sorry for your loss.
Any new information,
please feel free to contact
me or please send it.
I'm wishing you all the best.
(computer dinging)
(Avery sighing)
- Why doesn't anybody believe-?
I don't understand, this is crazy.
This is insane.
(Avery sniffling)
(loud knocking on door)
(static buzzing)
(upbeat rock music)
Walk when you're close to me
When my heart beats fast and free
I can't control the way I go
Well I just can't let it show
I should've opened,
open my world to you
It's not an easy, easy thing to do
I gotta step away
(upbeat rock music)
Oh girl, you worry me so
But I just won't let it go
The way you get to me
I know honey that you see
Believe me when, when I say to you
When I'm feeling, feeling like a fool
I just step away
(static buzzing)
