(chains jangling)
(people screaming)
- Help me!
(tense music continues)
(people grunting)
(woman screaming)
- Welcome.
Welcome, it's my divine
pleasure to inform you all
that you have been selected
to play the werewolf game.
You 12 folks are the villagers.
Among you are three werewolves.
The villagers' task is to figure out
who among you are the three sneaky wolves.
- Every day at 4:00 p.m.,
we will gather right here
in this very hall and decide
who you believe the werewolf is.
The villager with the most votes dies.
(captives crying and wailing)
Oh yes, yes.
10:00 p.m. is the curfew for the night.
You will be locked inside
your assigned cabins.
Between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m.,
the wolves are allowed
to come out and hunt.
The winner is whoever
kills the other team first,
will it be the intrepid villagers
with their clever deduction
or the cutting wolves
who trick you into murdering yourselves
and slowly pick you apart
one by one at night?
The winners will receive
$100,000 per month
deposited into a private bank account
for the rest of your lives.
(captives wailing)
Woo.
(captives wailing)
(tense music)
The guards have a singular
presence to ensure cooperation
and execution of the rules.
(captives wailing)
A scream here or there's tolerated,
but there's zero tolerance
for obnoxious behavior.
(tense music continues)
All right, before we begin this,
I think it's time to make
proper introductions.
(guard grunts)
(dramatic music)
(gun shoots)
(blow thuds)
Normally, this would
conclude Chris's life,
but since he did not yet know the rules,
we will only take a finger.
- [Chris] Get off me!
No, no, no (screams)!
I'll kill you!
(Chris screaming)
I'm gonna kill (screams)
- Ugh.
- I'll kill you (screams).
- Ugh, oh, yes, yes,
It's quite grizzly, isn't it?
(dramatic music continues)
(Chris screaming)
You cannot fight us.
(ominous music)
You cannot escape.
You can only play the game or be punished.
Christopher Kasante, a
military man for seven years,
dishonorably discharged for
insubordination (clicking).
With a loving wife and two young daughters
who indulge his doomsday sensibility,
you have a lot to lose.
Monika Nesty is a nurse
from Washington University,
where she graduated 10 years before,
twice divorced, barren to the bone.
Unlike you, Demi,
a former tango dancer whose
boring life has just been
dropping down a bottomless
hole, unlike you, Miss Bendis.
Miss Bendis worked as an exotic dancer
at Roxy's Playground, top draw.
She quit three months, and
then three months later,
the joint was closed down,
busted for prostitution.
She is currently the mother
of a 13-month-old baby boy.
- Leave him alone!
- We are not sadistic, Natalie.
He's much better off with your sister.
We both know that she makes
a better mommy than you do.
- You piece of shit.
- Billy Bell, Billy Bell,
oh, what a name.
Retired less than a year ago.
Oh, well, he used to be
a forensics detective
at the Boston PD, a true
protector of the law.
- Suzie Achaya, a molecular biologist
working at a privately
funded lab in the Bay Area,
graduated top honors,
(Suzie spits)
a little bit of a hot
head, but a strong woman,
- Seth Adonis, a prolific
online music producer,
an ambitious young man
with an eye for talent
and relentless persistence.
Don't disappoint Daddy.
Onward to the Pepper Neith,
an NYU grad student
majoring in psychology.
She keeps a large social
circle with Chi Omega
and has a fondness for cheap Chinese food,
cold sesame noodles.
(tense music)
Matthew Hillard transplanted from the UK
to Ohio for college.
There he met his soon-to-be
bride, settled down stateside,
currently works as a bank
manager with a darling daughter.
Well, good luck for their
sake, limey bastard.
Emmit Horose, sad young man who's been
slowly drinking himself
to death drip by drip
while sitting on his father's couch
and we both know it's
only a matter of time
before he abandons you.
- You don't know my father or me.
- Are you kidding?
I know every mouse click
and keyboard stroke
that you have ever entered
into a search engine.
Oh, okay, so for our last two contestants.
What, oh my God, geez, what?
We don't have any information
for you two at this time.
That's really bizarre.
Inside of your desk,
you will find a tablet
that will explain your role
in the game and no peeking.
Simply open your tablet
and vote for the participant
that you care to select.
(tense music continues)
(tablet beeping)
Let the countdown to voting begin.
- I do not comply, I
refuse to participate.
This is insanity!
So what is this?
Some gambling game for rich perverts?
How much money did you get paid for it?
Huh, how much?
A million. five million?
You people are deranged and lunatics!
I refuse.
I refuse.
Everybody, go ahead, vote for me.
Please, please, vote for me.
I'm a werewolf.
(tense music continues)
I'm a werewolf.
Please, vote for me, please.
- Okay, so now the tango lady is ready
to step up to the plate.
So now vote!
Simply vote for the participant
that you care to select.
(tense music continues)
(tablet beeps)
(tablet beeps)
(tablet beeps)
(tablets beeping)
Monika,
Monika, I suggest you participate.
Otherwise, you're gonna
be automatically selected.
(tense music continues)
- Monika, it's okay.
Monika, it's okay.
Don't be afraid, it's okay.
I;ve lived a good life, I refuse,
it's okay, it's not for show.
- I don't even know who you are.
- I'll tell you.
My whole life I wanted to be a mother,
but in reality, I was not a good one.
My ex-husband went, you
know, he had anger problem
and he was an alcoholic.
(tense music continues)
My kids,
he beat them.
I just stood there, listened and watched,
but doing nothing and
pretending it wasn't real.
I was such a coward, I hate
myself for that ever since.
- I won't,
- Monika,
Monika, look at me.
I'm not the open-up-to-people type.
I guess, my friends know.
- No, no, please, no.
- Monika, I can't hate myself again.
I promise, I'll be a much
better person when I come back
for the next life.
It's really, really okay, okay?
You will help me.
Monika, let's do this,
(tense music continues)
okay, you can, it's really okay.
You'll help to release my
soul to a better place.
(tablet beeps)
(tense music continues)
You will set me free.
(gun cocks)
(gun shoots)
(Monika screams)
(contestant grunts)
- I guess there won't be any
more bowing and tearing, right?
Congratulations, players,
you are now one step
closer to winning the game.
(Monika gasping)
(footsteps echoing)
(dramatic rock music)
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic rock music continues)

(Matt crying)
(tense music)
(melancholic music)
(birds chirping)
- Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
I'm Raymond, you're Matt, right?
- [Matt] Yeah.
- Mind if I pop a squat?
- [Matt] Sure, mate.
(melancholic music continues)
- So, how are you holding up?
I bet you want to get the hell outta here.
- God damn right.
- Come with me.
(melancholic music continues)
(tense music)
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
(contestant grunting)
- Let me help you with that.
- Thanks.
I'm no doctor.
- All right, I'm gonna need
you to bite down on that again.
I'm gonna get this
bullet out for you, okay?
This is really gonna hurt.
- Dig in.
(tense music)
(contestant grunts)
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
- What I'm gonna need you
to do is keep pressure
on it, all right?
(contestant grunting)
You're okay.
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
Wow.
That was my first time removing a bullet.
- Could have fooled me.
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
I found a map.
- A map?
- Yeah.
My guess is we're on a small island
with a perimeter outline of about a mile.
We're surrounded by sea, cliffs, and wood.
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
- Well, I'm going for a swim.
Anyone care to join me?
- Welcome to Club Dead.
(ominous music)
(water splashing)
(birds chirping)
- [Seth] Natalie?
Natalie, right?
(tense music)
- Yep.
- Seth, I'm Seth.
- I know,
- Right, look,
I didn't really have my
shit together back there,
(water trickling)
but I'm not a wolf.
- Good to know.
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
- Yeah, good, yeah, excuse me,
Natalie. I'm glad we talked.
Maybe we can talk again.
Chris, hey, wait up.
What you got?
- Stuff.
- Stuff, okay,
you know, 'cause it kinda looks like,
I don't know, stolen community supplies
you plan on hoarding for yourself.
- It's for your own good.
- My own good.
Look, dude, you do this
and tomorrow you will die.
You know that, right?
- I doubt that.
(tense music continues)
- All right, well, guess it was time
for when you stole
community shit, I guess.
(birds chirping)
(water flowing)
(footsteps crunching)
- There are three main
obstacles that we have
to hurdle if we want to escape this.
- Just three?
- Three big ones.
This is the first one.
Are you ready?
- Yeah.
- All right, this is obstacle one.
(ominous music)
(alarm blares)
(alarm wailing)
(ominous music continues)
- Bloody hell.
- Yeah, I know, I know,
it's 10 times worse if you
stand right in front of it,
the sonic emissions will kill you.
That's obstacle one.
- Please, no more examples.
- Obstacle two,
I can't even talk about that one yet.
- Why, why not?
- Obstacle three,
obstacle three is each other, Matt.
- Why are you telling me this?
- Because I need an ally.
- What if you're a werewolf?
(ominous music)
- Well, if I'm a wolf, I
still want to escape, right?
(ominous music continues)
(water splashing)
(tense music)
- There's a guard posted on a small boat
on the shoreline and he definitely saw me.
- None of this is adding up.
How did they get us here?
- I was camping in El Dorado Forest
on a personal work vacation
and I woke up here.
- Yeah, my memory's really fuzzy.
I fell asleep on the subway.
- Sleep and travel seem
to be major factors.
They could have easily snagged
me up after a blackout.
- We're all Americans, mostly,
from different parts of the country.
Were we chosen at random?
- People go missing every
day with no explanation.
- So one of us is gonna die tonight.
If one of you is the wolf,
just kill me, all right.
- Whoa.
- Don't talk like that.
- No way.
- We need you.
So honestly,
are any of you?
- Not me.
(tense music)
- Hell no.
I doubt it's her either.
- We gotta make peaceful
contact with the wolves.
(water splashing)
If any of you is lying,
come to me privately.
It's okay.
I'm gonna check the rest of the perimeter.
(tense music continues)
- Wait,
- You're terrified, Suzie.
- We're gonna make it through tonight
and tomorrow we plan our escape.
If they come for you tonight,
fight them with everything you have.
(tense music continues)
(somber music)
(waves lapping)
- We should head back.
- Debbie gave her life for me.
(somber music continues)
Tonight, I'm gonna return the favor.
- You can't do that.
Like if I die, maybe the
wolf won't have to kill.
- Even if you die, the
forces kill anyways.
Don't be their puppet.
- It's just it's hopeless, okay, just,
please let me die my way.
(somber music continues)
- I can't let you do that.
- Don't take away the
last choice I have left.
(somber music continues)
(waves crashing)
(footsteps crunching)
(ominous music)

(siren wailing)
(Emmit grunting)
(foot thuds)
(tense music continues)
(light, bright music)
(dramatic music)
- You all have been so patient.
Thank you.
The therapy was working,
I felt myself healing and
becoming better for y'all,
but they tried to cut you from me.
So if I gotta face death, I
gotta go back to the old me.
So just know I'm doing
everything I can to get back.
(dramatic music continues)
But that means you may not
like the man that comes home.
I love you
and I'm sorry.
(footsteps echoing)
(tense music)
(Pepper crying)
(tense music continues)
(tense music continues)
(footsteps echoing)
(pen scratching)
(pillow rustling)
(Natalie wailing)
(tense music continues)
(Matt crying)
(tense music continues)
(ax whooshing and clinking)
- [Announcer] Attention villagers,
the hunting hour has begun.
Attention villagers, the
hunting hour has begun.
Attention villagers, the
hunting hour has begun.
(Emmit laughing)
Attention villagers, the
hunting hour has begun.

(blood squishes)
(dramatic music)
(birds calling)
(bag rustling)
(bag thuds)
(tailgate squeaks)
(engine rumbling)
- No way.
- Damn,
she would've been useful,
- Unlike other people here?
- That's not what I meant.
- [Monika] Just watch what you say.
- Guys, Suzie's death
is a tragedy, all right,
but we can't let it break us.
I'm hosting a meeting in
15, I hope you'll join me.
- Emmit.
(tense music continues)
I thought something happened to you.
- I tried to run.
- I'm glad you're okay.
(footsteps crunching)
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
(dramatic music)
- Thank y'all for coming.
Thank y'all for coming.
We all know anything
we say, kind of a risk.
- Everything you say can and
will be used against you.
- It doesn't need to be like that.
- No, I think we need to
be able to talk openly
about our options.
- Options, is that what we
call murdering each other now?
(tense music)
- I guess we don't really
have a choice, do we?
- I'm sure the werewolves
felt the same way.
Just saying.
- What we all want to do
is leave this hellhole.
- Matt, do you mind if I
take over for a minute?
Hi, I'm Raymond
and I am the one who's going
to get us all outta here.
- Oh really?
- I can't make any promises,
but I do have some information.
- Sheesh, okay.
- There's a company
running this whole operation, Wellfin.
- The social media company?
- Media conglomerate actually,
they've since moved on
and much bigger now.
- No one's gonna say it, I'll say it.
Want me to, okay.
You, my guy, are just so, so sus.
- How do you know this?
- I used to work for them.
- And you knew about the game?
- Unofficially, I hacked company records.
(tense music continues)
- All right, I am just displaying
a healthy amount of
skepticism at this point.
- Seth.
- What?
- Fine, whatever.
Forget it.
I'm not a wolf, guys.
Okay, I am not a wolf.
If they wanted intel on me,
clearly they can get it easily.
I've done nothing suspicious.
(tense music continues)
- Does anybody else wanna take the floor?
Bill, you seem to be
well versed in deduction.
- I don't suspect anyone.
Suzie was strong and confident,
an obvious choice for the first murder.
Your guess is as good as mine, Pepper.
- Well, I just feel
like it's irresponsible
to target somebody if I'm
not entirely sure, you know.
I definitely don't think it's you, Bill.
- Oh, no, no, no.
You got someone on your mind, don't you?
- No, I don't have anyone on my mind, but,
I mean, Chris isn't here.
- How about that asshole?
You know I saw him stealing
community supplies earlier.
Natalie was there, too, she saw it, right?
- Yep.
(tense music continues)
- I told him if he didn't
tell me what he was up to,
I would rat him out, so
the rest is up to y'all.
- Well, we can't jump to conclusions,
but I'm assuming nobody's
eaten in a while.
Why don't we go pay Chris a visit?
- That's what I'm talking about, let's go.
- Okay, wait, before we just run off
on some crazy witch hunt, I'd
like to offer a suggestion.
I wanna push for a tie, buy us some time.
- I was thinking about that, too.
But a tie can ultimately
end in a double death.
- Maybe, but maybe not.
I volunteer, who wants to join me?
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
- I will, too.
- So cute.
So cute, you too.
But no.
(dramatic music)
No, guys, come on.
We understand the wolves could literally
skew the vote at any moment.
- Maybe, but the wolves
might wanna work with us,
go after the real enemy.
- I'm down to not kill anyone.
- All right, guys, this is
clearly getting us nowhere.
Say it's about time we go visit Rainbow.
Let's go.
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic music)
Chrissy Poo, Chris baby,
I just want to talk.
I'm telling you, this guy's up to no good.
(Seth banging)
I told you this would happen, Chris.
You still have time to explain yourself.
- [Chris] Back away from the door, Seth.
(dramatic music continues)
(footsteps thudding)
(bag thuds)
- That's nice, but that
doesn't prove anything.
(door thuds)
- Seth.
- What?
(dramatic music continues)
What?
- I have an announcement, so listen up.
I'm the only one here
with military training
and I know what it's like when supplies
are low, so I ration them.
- Yeah, how do we know you're not
hoarding more shit back there, huh?
- I took a humble 10%
handler's fee for being the one
who took the initiative to preserve
the integrity of the group.
Seth, I assume you'll
be all right with that.
- I guess, if the group does.
(dramatic music continues)
- Works for me.
- This is so cool.
- And smart.
- Since our last encounter,
I've been working.
If any of you wolves try
to infiltrate my domain,
I will be waiting to
rain down hell upon you.
Traps will be waiting for you
with secondary traps
just in case you manage
to get past the first few.
I don't know how you wolves hunt,
but even if you come at
me with assault rifles
and full body armor, I
will be ready for you.
It'll be "Home Alone" in here
and I will be the homie
standing alone when it's done.
If you manage to kill me, I
promise you I will hurt you,
badly, so the rest of my villager friends
will know it's you,
(dramatic music continues)
assuming I don't hunt
you down and find you
and kill you myself,
which I have every intention of doing.
- Right, this is what I'm talking about.
- Bill, I'm sorry about the
injury, I was off my game.
There will be no more
accidents going forward.
- Wow, cool story, bro.
Great alibi, this guy.
(footsteps thudding)
- I really think we should
just rule Chris out.
(door thuds)
(dramatic music continues)
- What, then who are we voting for?
Really, we're just
gonna go in there blind?
Really?
- Calm down, Seth.
- I am c-,
Villager 12.
- Seth.
- I just want to talk.
(tense music)
(Seth banging)
There you are, you got nothing to hide,
you got nothing to fear.
So just open up!
(tense music)
(door rattling)
(Seth banging)
(Seth bangs)
I know who I'm voting for.
See you at four, Shaggy.
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
- [Announcer] All villagers
report to the Great Hall.
(tense music)
All villagers report to the Great Hall.
(footsteps thudding)
(door banging)
All villagers report to the Great Hall.
(tense music continues)
(tense music continues)
(cards riffling)
(cards riffling)
(tense music continues)
(villager crying)
(tense music continues)
- You assholes.
You wanted me dead, you play
this game even towards it.
I wanted to participate,
(tense music continues)
but they wouldn't let me.
They lied about me, all A
bunch of lying assholes.
- What's your name, man?
- My name's Zack.
- Why were you not on record?
- I haven't been on record in a long time.
(tense music continues)
- So help us understand.
Zack, why weren't you in today?
- I haven't got up.
The bed was comfortable,
I couldn't get up.
- Zack, are you homeless?
- All y'all hate my guts.
You're killing me.
- Just look at him, he's
scared, and we don't know,
he might have psychological issues.
The fact is, he hasn't
done anything suspicious.
- Please, that suit
can't be cheap, Monika.
And look at his face.
(tense music continues)
- Seth, that literally proves nothing.
(clock ticking)
- Who should we vote for?
Who should we kill?
How the hell are we supposed
to make this decision?
Michael, answers, Pepper?
(tense music continues)
- Emmit.
Vote for a tie, Emmit and myself, please.
(clock ticking)
- [Judge] Let the voting begin.
(tablets beeping)
(dramatic music)
(tablets beeping)
- Help me.
(Zack crying)
(tablet beeping)
(dramatic music continues)
(gun shoots)
(Monika exclaims)
(dramatic music continues)
- Why wasn't there a tie,
five votes for Emmit and five for myself?
What is wrong with you people?
An innocent person just died.
None of you even care.
- I got Monika.
Tony, you just take it slow.
But enough moralizing,
it's bonus rule time.
- Oh my, could you shoot us
a damn text instead, huh?
- No.
(whip slashes)
- Oh, come on!
- Now, as I will was
saying among you villagers
are two superpowers.
The first one is the bodyguard,
which protects one villager per night
from the happy hunting wolf attack.
The second one is the oracle,
which reveals one villager every night.
And it looks like Zack
was a villager after all.
(tense music)
Now get the hell outta here!
(Pepper crying)
(dramatic music)
- Hey, hey, hey.
Where are you going?
- The group is fracturing.
Everything is falling apart.
- Get a grip, Raymond.
Listen to me.
You're right, these people are losing it.
- It really is hopeless, isn't it?
- Not yet, no.
We need a focus, a direction.
Obstacle two.
- Obstacle two.
(tense music)
It's really bad, Matt.
- You're the only one
who could save us, Ray.
Just tell me.
(tense music continues)
- Okay.
- I'm sorry, guys.
So sick of feeling terrified, thank you.
- Yeah, I think we all are.
Do you want me to take
a look at your hand?
(birds chirping)
(dramatic music)
- It really hurts.
- I'm sure.
I don't think anything's broken.
You'll be okay.
- You sure?
- Yeah.
- It's okay, Seth, I'll walk you back.
(birds chirping)
(tense music)
- You know I'm not an
oracle, not a bodyguard,
they're just hiding among us.
We gotta find out who they are.
Gotta find out who they are.
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
- I wish I were one of 'em.
God, I have never ever felt
so helpless in my whole life.
(dramatic music)
- You'll be safe, Monika, every night.
- What do you mean?
- There's a bodyguard,
I will keep you safe.
- You barely even know me, why
are you always protecting me?
- Why not?
(birds chirping)
(dramatic music continues)
(tense music)
(birds chirping)
(drums beating)
(light, bright music)
(birds chirping)
- Total shit show in there.
- Yep.
- You know, I own a god damn lumberyard.
- Really?
- Judge didn't bother to mention that.
(water trickling)
- You should have told us
about it at the meeting.
- That would make me
unbelievably impressive
and it would raise suspicion.
Lumber's not that
lucrative of an industry,
I'm making the margins work.
- Your secret is safe with me.
(birds chirping)
(bright music continues)
- It's another battle to win.
So I'm gonna win this thing
for me and whoever's left.
Nobody can touch me.
- Oh, no?
- Unless I want 'em to.
- So that's what this is?
- We could all use the stress relief.
And you're definitely a professional.
(tense music)
- Excuse me?
- What?
- You know, all you needed to
do is say another cute line
or two and I would've been all over you.
- What, what, then what's the problem?
- Your attitude, man.
- I was just trying to say that you're
probably really good at it.
- I could die tonight, screw it,
is what I thought before
you revealed yourself
to be a complete asshole.
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
- Could have handled that one better.
(dramatic music)
(bread crunching)
All of y'all are all sad about Zack now?
(dramatic music continues)
Look,
if we let his death turn
us against each other,
then he died for nothing.
There's clearly a lesson here.
Question is, are we gonna learn it?
- You're so god damn cool.
- Sometimes.
- I'm supposed to be a role model.
(dramatic music continues)
- Monika was right.
We should have trusted them.
- I should go find them.
I kinda wanna clear the air.
- I think they're doing
just fine on their own.
- Yeah?
- Oh yeah.
- Oh, oh,
Oh, okay.
(tense music)
(crickets chirping)
(owl hooting)
(footsteps crunching)
(romantic music)
(romantic music continues)
(Monika moaning)
(romantic music continues)
(couple moaning)
- Ah, yes.
(shirt rustling)
(romantic music continues)
Emmit, listen.
You can't protect me tonight.
I have this feeling and I
need you to guard yourself.
- I know but I'll see you
in the morning, I promise.
- No, they're going to kill you tonight,
you can't let that happen, please.
- It's not worth the risk.
- Think for yourself for once, please.
(romantic music continues)
- I am.
(tense music)
(crickets chirping)
(footsteps crunching)
(tense music continues)
(footsteps crunching)
(people grunting)
(tense music continues)
- You don't have to do this.
Don't become a monster to play the game.
(Emmit grunts and gasps)
(tense music continues)
Please, keep Monika safe.
(insects buzzing)
(tense music continues)
(somber music)
(rooster crowing)
(bag rustling)
(somber music continues)
(somber music continues)
(bag rustling)
(guard grunts)
(bag thuds)
(tailgate slams)
(engine rumbling)
(somber music continues)
(birds calling)
- I should have spoken up earlier.
I was trying to solve this,
to present you with a case of evidence.
(tense music)
I suspected Emmit.
Whatever you have to
say, we'll hear you out.
- For sure.
- Tell him, Ray.
- Which one of you?
Which one of you?!
Which one of you is gonna
join me in a tie this time?!
(tense music continues)
Seriously no one, no one.
You know, all of you talk about
wanting to get outta here,
and yet not one of you is actually willing
to do anything about it.
You're just cowards.
You know, why don't you
just kill me next time
and get it over with, okay.
- Monika, I will join you, okay.
Please, sit down.
(dramatic music)
- Take a drink, kiddo.
- Where were you guys in all this?
- Well, this entire operation
is a digital mining experiment.
Wellfin is building an algorithm
to use against every digital platform
you could possibly think of.
- How did you find this out?
- I was part of the data mining team
for Wellfin apps.
They turned to public perception,
experimentation, gang stalking, doom porn.
- That is so exciting,
especially that last part.
But remind me, what does this have
anything to do with the game?
- Well, long, long story short,
I hacked into my superior's email
and I found the algorithm.
It needed more data,
human experimentation.
Every aspect of this place
is a shifting testing ground
to study humanity at its absolute worst.
This algorithm is part of
a human behavioral program
to control people's actions.
- Mind control?
- Well, I believe
they're using microchips,
the guards, I think that they're
using them to control them.
- Ooh, could those things be inside of us?
- I don't know.
- Are you telling me that they could be
remote controlling our brains?
- Seth, We told him we'd hear him out.
- I'm hearing him out, all right.
Do you guys believe this?
- We're here, aren't we?
- This is insane.
- Exactly, guys.
- Seth, calm down.
Raymond, this is a lot for us to take in.
- I know.
- Then how do we escape?
- Kill the guards, take the judge hostage.
- It's the only way.
But first, the wolves
have to show themselves.
(tense music)
- I don't know if y'all forgot,
but there's about 12 armed giga-Chads
who just easily took out our top fighter.
Sorry Chris, no offense.
And we don't know where the hell we are.
Guys, this is a werewolf,
he's trying to tear apart the group.
- I think you've said enough.
- Have I, Bill, have I?
You're trying to shut up the only person
who's thinking critically around here.
Do you really think they'd let him escape?
- I saw the winner's records.
- Yeah, for them, not for you.
- Relax, Seth.
- Monika, do you believe any of this?
(tense music continues)
This guy is sus and he's
messing with our heads.
- Please stop saying sus.
- Then how do you suppose we leave
without killing ourselves, Ray?
- I have an observation for you, Seth,
the behavior patterns
of past wolf winners.
They're either usually quiet
and only have a voice when in a group
or the loud ones,
the ones who are hyper-reactive
and know how to manipulate the group.
- Are you accusing me directly, Ray,
is that what you're doing?
- Sit down, Seth.
- Great job building rapport
with the group, Bill.
You and Ray got a great
thing going on here.
- I am not backing him up.
I'm just organizing the conversation.
- Do you even hear yourself?
- Are you accusing Bill?
- I don't know if you guys forgot,
but we have a big choice to make
and nobody is listening,
- Shut up, Seth!
- Sit down and listen to me.
I am the oracle.
Okay, Bill is not a werewolf.
Bill is the only person that's been trying
to keep us together
and I am putting my life on the line
just so you could shut up.
- Okay.
(dramatic music)
- Monika, who was the bodyguard?
- It was Emmit.
Emmit was the bodyguard,
but he's dead now, so.
(birds chirping)
(somber music)
- I'm sorry, Pepper, I,
- Thank you for your courage, Pepper.
Did you see anyone else?
- Chris.
- I'm surprised you doubted me.
- Take it as a compliment.
- I will.
- So what now?
- Matt, Bill, and Chris,
you guys will vote for me.
Seth, Natalie, and Pepper, vote for Ray,
Is that fair for everyone?
- It is, and after the vote,
anyone that wants to help Raymond
and myself escape, meet back here.
There's still hope.
- Yeah, right.
(somber music)
- [Judge] Let the voting begin.
(tablets beeping)
(tense music)
(tablet beeps)
- [Monika] Last person, vote for me, now,
What are you waiting for?
(tablet beeping)
- Wait!
(tense music continues)
When I die, this entire
program will be exposed online.
- Oh, good.
- You lost, Judge.
Wellfin is through.
(tense music continues)
- You do realize that every
document, every video record
that we allowed to take was falsified
and relegated to mindless
conspiracy theory?
(tense music continues)
- No, no, no, no, I recognize that voice.
- How impressive.
- It can't possibly be you.
Richard,
Richard Sackless.
- Goodbye, Raymond.
(gun shoots)
(body thuds)
(somber music)
(Matt crying)
- I don't know what that
fool was talking about.
- Judge,
is that a wolf?
- Not at all.
- Have any other wolves been eliminated?
- We will inform you
when the game is over.
- God damn, you people,
Raymond was our last chance.
He was my friend.
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music continues)
- I have solved it.
The wolves' rein of terror is over.
I apologize, honestly, I should have seen
through them a lot sooner.
It's you, Matt and Monika.
It's them, I'm sure of it.
- Excuse me, Monika?
- Thank you.
- What the hell, mate?
I do nothing but try to get us out here.
- Guilt, that is the key here.
Matt justifies his killing by trying
to escape during the day.
Tell me that doesn't make sense.
- I mean, it's possible,
but you can micro-analyze
people all day like that.
- Then maybe we should.
- Bill, are you positive about all this?
- And Monika,
all of those self-sacrificial gestures
are a balm for the soul, aren't they?
I mean, pulling the bullet
out of the old guy's shoulder.
That's sweet.
Tell me, did Matt kill
your boyfriend for you
or did you do it yourself?
- You're gonna die next.
- Well, then kill me tonight.
But I solved it.
I won.
(tense music)
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic music)
- Oh God.
(crickets chirping)
(tense music)
(owl hooting)
- I had a feeling it would be me.
Hunting alone tonight?
(tense music continues)
Well, I want to give
you a piece of my mind.
That is one scary costume.
Let me see your face, I'm not gonna fight.
(air whooshes)
Interesting.
(knife whooshes)
(Bill screams)
(tense music)
(engine rumbling)
- Pepper, who'd you see last night?
- Matt.
- You used it on me?
- Yeah.
- Thank you,
I won't take it personal.
- Why didn't you use it on me?
- She didn't think it was necessary.
(tense music)
(spider chewing)
(tense music continues)
- Monika.
Monika, Monika, you have to listen to me.
They're gonna try and kill me.
Please, Monika, I have to explain.
- Things have been getting
a little heavy around here,
quite drab actually.
You know what, hey kids,
I think it's another pop quiz.
I'm gonna point to one little dude,
I want you to name everybody
so far and one fun fact
and we'll start with Chris.
(tense music continues)
(footsteps echoing)
- My name is Chris Constant
and I own a lumberyard.
(knife whooshes)
(guard screams)
(dramatic music)
(guard grunts)
(body thuds)
(Chris grunts)
(guard screams)
(Chris grunting)
(footsteps thudding)
(knife clicks)
- [Chris] You stabbed me in the back.
(knife whooshes)
(Chris grunting)
Get off me, get, ah,
ah, get off, get off me.
Stabbed and I still took
two of you bastards with me!
Get off me, get off me now!
(tense music)
(gun shoots)
(Monika screams)
- Oh, well, I guess that's it.
All right, it's time to vote.
(tense music continues)
- We're still voting?
- Yeah, of course.
- Okay, guys, listen.
This is the last round of voting.
There's only four villagers
left and two are werewolves.
- We don't know if one remain or two.
- It doesn't matter.
My decision is clear.
- Wow, wow, nice.
Hey, why don't you just grow some balls,
come out and tell everyone
you just want me dead,
huh, say it.
- Okay, just let me
think for a second.
Just wait a minute, let me think.
Our options are me, Natalie, and you.
Seth, are you a werewolf?
- No, no.
That's what I've been
trying to tell you, Monika.
(tense music)
- Seth has been stirring
the pot from the start.
- When have I ever stirred
the pot, huh, Natalie?
- Always, Seth!
- Damn right.
(tense music continues)
(clock ticking)
- Matt, it should be you.
- Well, you ain't helping.
- I'm sorry, Seth,
I wouldn't have thought that it was you,
but it seems like you're cornered.
- No, no, no, no, no, no, listen!
(tense music continues)
- Yes, yes, yes, as it turns out, Matt,
I am a good judge of character.
You're the wolf and I know it.
(tense music continues)
- He's a villager, I saw it.
- Monika, listen to me, Natalie, you too.
There's absolutely no logical reason
the wolves haven't killed Pepper yet.
- You sick bastard.
Are you accusing the oracle of lying?
- Yeah, yeah I am.
- Shut up, you psychopathic murderer.
- Listen, ladies, listen.
It doesn't matter who Bill suspected.
The Oracle is the one
with leverage. Right?
It's the wolves' prime target, right?
But the oracle isn't you, Pepper.
No, no,
It was Suzie.
The oracle is Suzie, you killed her.
You killed her and took her identity.
She's covering for Matt.
They are the werewolves!
- Piss off, you delusional prick!
- Oh, fuck you, Matt,
you sus shaggy bastard!
(Matt panting)
(tense music continues)
(tablet beeps)
Cute.
Nice, but it doesn't matter now.
Hey, how about you go ahead
and vote for me too, huh?
Go ahead, prove you're
guilty, go on, go for it.
- This is insane.
- Listen, ladies, I am not a werewolf.
(tense music continues)
- Monika, I don't know
what he's talking about.
- I am not a werewolf.
(tablet beeps)
(clock ticking)
(tense music)
Natalie, I am sorry I am such an asshole,
but I am not a liar.
- Don't let him trick us.
Let's just kill him now and win this game.
(tense music continues)
(clock ticking)
(tablet beeps)
- Please.
Natalie.
(tense music continues)
I'm a good guy.
- Natalie, please, just make it.
Now.
(Seth muttering)
(tense music continues)
Now!
(tablet beeps)
(tablet beeping)
(footsteps thudding)
(gun shoots)
(body thuds)
(dramatic music)
(Judge sighs)
(Seth crying)
- Why wouldn't any of them listen to me?
- Because you're an asshole.
Devilishly clever, so
filled with self-assurance,
yet totally, watching people like you burn
is a treat that I never tire of.
- Burn in hell.
(dramatic music continues)
- Adios.
- The game is over?
(dramatic music continues)
- Pepper, you're the
one that killed Emmit?
- Monika, I don't know what's happening.
- My God,
it is you.
- I am innocent.
- You're sick.
(dramatic music continues)
(Matt panting)
(somber music)
(waves rolling)
(tense music)
- Emmit, I'm sorry.
I failed you and
I still can't do it.
(waves rolling)
(tense music)
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic music)
(birds chirping)
(tense music)
(footsteps crunching)
- Monika.
Oh my gosh, what happened?
I'm so sorry, I messed it all up.
Gosh, I'm so sorry.
What happened?
It's all my fault.
- Matt,
Pepper, I have something to tell you.
(tense music)
- How bad is it?
- They're gonna kill you two.
- I mean, maybe the
guards are the werewolves.
- Pepper, just drop it already, okay.
You played us from the start.
You were strong and I was pathetic.
The odds were stacked against you,
so congratulations, but you
two aren't gonna win this.
- You soulless bitch.
- Don't you dare, Natalie.
Trusting you would've been suicide.
Right, Matt?
Matt?
(bright music)
(bright music continues)
- My daughter has a soccer game tonight.
I thought I'd be home in time to see her.
You used the love of my wife
and my child against me.
- You were gonna roll
over and watch us die!
- You manipulated me, I don't want this!
- I was protecting you!
- You're evil!
(Pepper screams)
- I'm sorry.
- What are we?
- Let me go.
- What are we, Pepper?
- I don't know.
- Wolf, villager, it doesn't
matter now, all right.
- Oh, bullshit, Monika.
- Where would all this
payoff money come from?
Raymond said these games
have been running for years.
(dramatic music)
They can't just release us, can they?
- Who is the perfect lie?
- No, she's just trying
to mess with your head.
It's over, we won.
You're incredible, you saved my life.
We can go home now.
- Do you honestly think
that these demons just gonna
give you millions of dollars
for your silence or just kill you?
- You have no idea.
You guys have been hunting me.
I have to sit and listen
to your little meetings
plotting my death.
- I pushed for a tie.
- You're living in a fantasy, Monika.
Did you really think Matt and I
would be able to live if we didn't hunt?
- No.
(dramatic music)
- Finally, some honesty.
Our life is not worth any less than yours.
We were trying to escape
with you guys during the day
and fight for survival at night.
- Pepper, well, Monika says that so,
- Oh, shut up Matt.
I knew you would turn on me.
I knew I was alone from the start.
I am ending this game tonight.
I'm not gonna let you monsters murder me.
- Pepper, listen,
I blamed you this whole time.
I just want to see my
wife and hug my child.
- I was only trying to just save us, Matt.
I don't wanna die.
It's not fair, we're so close.
(tense music)
- I won't let them hurt you. Pepper.
- We beat you, Monika.
- Yeah, you did.
You won.
- What do you two want from me?
- I wanna kill the Judge.
- How can you say that?
(dramatic music)
- Well, I guess I learned
I'm a lot like you.
I got a lot of determination.
What do you say?
(dramatic music continues)
(display beeping)
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic music continues)
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic music continues)
(companions screaming)

- Matt!
(somber music)
- Nice shot, kiddo.
- Matt.
- I'm a monster, Pepper.
- No, you're not.
You're a hero.
- Don't let my family know.
- I won't.
(somber music continues)
(birds chirping)
(somber music continues)
Let's kill that smirking bastard.
(dramatic music)
(footsteps echoing)
(dramatic music continues)
- Raymond was right after all.
- It doesn't matter, we move on.
Let's go.
(door creaking)
(door thuds)
(tense music)
- Congratulations, my darlings,
you have won the game.
- You son of a bitch, prepare to die!
- Natalie, stop.
- I got something to show you.
Now, you can keep your
weapons if you wish.
You won't need them, but hang on to it.
(Judge laughing)
Before I continue,
(air whooshing)
I should show you myself.
(dramatic music)
(Judge sighs)
My name is Frederick,
(electronics whirring)
I'm the appointed judge
for the werewolf game.
You gotta excuse the theatrics,
the brass upstairs
requires a bit of a show.
But you gotta think of a Judge as like a,
like a life coach,
gymnastics just molding
you into the perfection
that you are.
It's like life coaches, okay?
We're just there to push you a little bit.
And this Judge is extremely proud of you.
You three are the first to reach ascension
through the rebellion path.
And these fine people
are living their besties
on assorted islands, fishing,
walking on the sea, popping coconuts,
living in a life of luxury.
- What are you talking about?
- I was rooting for you three.
- God damn it, Monika,
what the hell is he talking about?
- Put the weapons down.
Just do it.
(dramatic music)
- The odds were not great for you.
Deep down, you knew it.
Well finis looking for the best people
to join us at the top to guide humanity.
Look, the common man, he hates his life.
He's poisoning himself with drink,
and food, and love, crippling their mind
and their spirit into
an unconscious death.
That is why Wellfin came looking for you.
- For what?
- To guide humanity.
(tense music)
Trust me, you can still have a good life,
just take the money.
Okay, every guard in the vicinity
is right outside that door.
(tense music continues)
(Judge panting and gasping)
I just want to be free.
We all could be free.
(Judge grunts)
(Judge gasps)
(dramatic music)
(blow thuds)
(Natalie crying)
(dramatic music continues)
(Natalie crying)
- [Announcer] Judge compromise detected,
vital signs depleted,
initiating sanitation procedures.
Judge compromise detected,

- Our chariot awaits.

(chains jangling)
(people screaming)
- Help me!
(tense music continues)
(people grunting)
(woman screaming)
- Welcome.
Welcome, it's my divine
pleasure to inform you all
that you have been selected
to play the werewolf game.
You 12 folks are the villagers.
Among you are three werewolves.
The villagers' task is to figure out
who among you are the three sneaky wolves.
- Every day at 4:00 p.m.,
we will gather right here
in this very hall and decide
who you believe the werewolf is.
The villager with the most votes dies.
(captives crying and wailing)
Oh yes, yes.
10:00 p.m. is the curfew for the night.
You will be locked inside
your assigned cabins.
Between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m.,
the wolves are allowed
to come out and hunt.
The winner is whoever
kills the other team first,
will it be the intrepid villagers
with their clever deduction
or the cutting wolves
who trick you into murdering yourselves
and slowly pick you apart
one by one at night?
The winners will receive
$100,000 per month
deposited into a private bank account
for the rest of your lives.
(captives wailing)
Woo.
(captives wailing)
(tense music)
The guards have a singular
presence to ensure cooperation
and execution of the rules.
(captives wailing)
A scream here or there's tolerated,
but there's zero tolerance
for obnoxious behavior.
(tense music continues)
All right, before we begin this,
I think it's time to make
proper introductions.
(guard grunts)
(dramatic music)
(gun shoots)
(blow thuds)
Normally, this would
conclude Chris's life,
but since he did not yet know the rules,
we will only take a finger.
- [Chris] Get off me!
No, no, no (screams)!
I'll kill you!
(Chris screaming)
I'm gonna kill (screams)
- Ugh.
- I'll kill you (screams).
- Ugh, oh, yes, yes,
It's quite grizzly, isn't it?
(dramatic music continues)
(Chris screaming)
You cannot fight us.
(ominous music)
You cannot escape.
You can only play the game or be punished.
Christopher Kasante, a
military man for seven years,
dishonorably discharged for
insubordination (clicking).
With a loving wife and two young daughters
who indulge his doomsday sensibility,
you have a lot to lose.
Monika Nesty is a nurse
from Washington University,
where she graduated 10 years before,
twice divorced, barren to the bone.
Unlike you, Demi,
a former tango dancer whose
boring life has just been
dropping down a bottomless
hole, unlike you, Miss Bendis.
Miss Bendis worked as an exotic dancer
at Roxy's Playground, top draw.
She quit three months, and
then three months later,
the joint was closed down,
busted for prostitution.
She is currently the mother
of a 13-month-old baby boy.
- Leave him alone!
- We are not sadistic, Natalie.
He's much better off with your sister.
We both know that she makes
a better mommy than you do.
- You piece of shit.
- Billy Bell, Billy Bell,
oh, what a name.
Retired less than a year ago.
Oh, well, he used to be
a forensics detective
at the Boston PD, a true
protector of the law.
- Suzie Achaya, a molecular biologist
working at a privately
funded lab in the Bay Area,
graduated top honors,
(Suzie spits)
a little bit of a hot
head, but a strong woman,
- Seth Adonis, a prolific
online music producer,
an ambitious young man
with an eye for talent
and relentless persistence.
Don't disappoint Daddy.
Onward to the Pepper Neith,
an NYU grad student
majoring in psychology.
She keeps a large social
circle with Chi Omega
and has a fondness for cheap Chinese food,
cold sesame noodles.
(tense music)
Matthew Hillard transplanted from the UK
to Ohio for college.
There he met his soon-to-be
bride, settled down stateside,
currently works as a bank
manager with a darling daughter.
Well, good luck for their
sake, limey bastard.
Emmit Horose, sad young man who's been
slowly drinking himself
to death drip by drip
while sitting on his father's couch
and we both know it's
only a matter of time
before he abandons you.
- You don't know my father or me.
- Are you kidding?
I know every mouse click
and keyboard stroke
that you have ever entered
into a search engine.
Oh, okay, so for our last two contestants.
What, oh my God, geez, what?
We don't have any information
for you two at this time.
That's really bizarre.
Inside of your desk,
you will find a tablet
that will explain your role
in the game and no peeking.
Simply open your tablet
and vote for the participant
that you care to select.
(tense music continues)
(tablet beeping)
Let the countdown to voting begin.
- I do not comply, I
refuse to participate.
This is insanity!
So what is this?
Some gambling game for rich perverts?
How much money did you get paid for it?
Huh, how much?
A million. five million?
You people are deranged and lunatics!
I refuse.
I refuse.
Everybody, go ahead, vote for me.
Please, please, vote for me.
I'm a werewolf.
(tense music continues)
I'm a werewolf.
Please, vote for me, please.
- Okay, so now the tango lady is ready
to step up to the plate.
So now vote!
Simply vote for the participant
that you care to select.
(tense music continues)
(tablet beeps)
(tablet beeps)
(tablet beeps)
(tablets beeping)
Monika,
Monika, I suggest you participate.
Otherwise, you're gonna
be automatically selected.
(tense music continues)
- Monika, it's okay.
Monika, it's okay.
Don't be afraid, it's okay.
I;ve lived a good life, I refuse,
it's okay, it's not for show.
- I don't even know who you are.
- I'll tell you.
My whole life I wanted to be a mother,
but in reality, I was not a good one.
My ex-husband went, you
know, he had anger problem
and he was an alcoholic.
(tense music continues)
My kids,
he beat them.
I just stood there, listened and watched,
but doing nothing and
pretending it wasn't real.
I was such a coward, I hate
myself for that ever since.
- I won't,
- Monika,
Monika, look at me.
I'm not the open-up-to-people type.
I guess, my friends know.
- No, no, please, no.
- Monika, I can't hate myself again.
I promise, I'll be a much
better person when I come back
for the next life.
It's really, really okay, okay?
You will help me.
Monika, let's do this,
(tense music continues)
okay, you can, it's really okay.
You'll help to release my
soul to a better place.
(tablet beeps)
(tense music continues)
You will set me free.
(gun cocks)
(gun shoots)
(Monika screams)
(contestant grunts)
- I guess there won't be any
more bowing and tearing, right?
Congratulations, players,
you are now one step
closer to winning the game.
(Monika gasping)
(footsteps echoing)
(dramatic rock music)
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic rock music continues)
(dramatic rock music continues)
(dramatic rock music continues)
(dramatic rock music continues)
(dramatic rock music continues)
(footsteps thudding)
(dramatic rock music continues)
(Matt crying)
(tense music)
(melancholic music)
(birds chirping)
- Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
I'm Raymond, you're Matt, right?
- [Matt] Yeah.
- Mind if I pop a squat?
- [Matt] Sure, mate.
(melancholic music continues)
- So, how are you holding up?
I bet you want to get the hell outta here.
- God damn right.
- Come with me.
(melancholic music continues)
(tense music)
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
(contestant grunting)
- Let me help you with that.
- Thanks.
I'm no doctor.
- All right, I'm gonna need
you to bite down on that again.
I'm gonna get this
bullet out for you, okay?
This is really gonna hurt.
- Dig in.
(tense music)
(contestant grunts)
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
- What I'm gonna need you
to do is keep pressure
on it, all right?
(contestant grunting)
You're okay.
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
Wow.
That was my first time removing a bullet.
- Could have fooled me.
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
I found a map.
- A map?
- Yeah.
My guess is we're on a small island
with a perimeter outline of about a mile.
We're surrounded by sea, cliffs, and wood.
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
- Well, I'm going for a swim.
Anyone care to join me?
- Welcome to Club Dead.
(ominous music)
(water splashing)
(birds chirping)
- [Seth] Natalie?
Natalie, right?
(tense music)
- Yep.
- Seth, I'm Seth.
- I know,
- Right, look,
I didn't really have my
shit together back there,
(water trickling)
but I'm not a wolf.
- Good to know.
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
- Yeah, good, yeah, excuse me,
Natalie. I'm glad we talked.
Maybe we can talk again.
Chris, hey, wait up.
What you got?
- Stuff.
- Stuff, okay,
you know, 'cause it kinda looks like,
I don't know, stolen community supplies
you plan on hoarding for yourself.
- It's for your own good.
- My own good.
Look, dude, you do this
and tomorrow you will die.
You know that, right?
- I doubt that.
(tense music continues)
- All right, well, guess it was time
for when you stole
community shit, I guess.
(birds chirping)
(water flowing)
(footsteps crunching)
- There are three main
obstacles that we have
to hurdle if we want to escape this.
- Just three?
- Three big ones.
This is the first one.
Are you ready?
- Yeah.
- All right, this is obstacle one.
(ominous music)
(alarm blares)
(alarm wailing)
(ominous music continues)
- Bloody hell.
- Yeah, I know, I know,
it's 10 times worse if you
stand right in front of it,
the sonic emissions will kill you.
That's obstacle one.
- Please, no more examples.
- Obstacle two,
I can't even talk about that one yet.
- Why, why not?
- Obstacle three,
obstacle three is each other, Matt.
- Why are you telling me this?
- Because I need an ally.
- What if you're a werewolf?
(ominous music)
- Well, if I'm a wolf, I
still want to escape, right?
(ominous music continues)
(water splashing)
(tense music)
- There's a guard posted on a small boat
on the shoreline and he definitely saw me.
- None of this is adding up.
How did they get us here?
- I was camping in El Dorado Forest
on a personal work vacation
and I woke up here.
- Yeah, my memory's really fuzzy.
I fell asleep on the subway.
- Sleep and travel seem
to be major factors.
They could have easily snagged
me up after a blackout.
- We're all Americans, mostly,
from different parts of the country.
Were we chosen at random?
- People go missing every
day with no explanation.
- So one of us is gonna die tonight.
If one of you is the wolf,
just kill me, all right.
- Whoa.
- Don't talk like that.
- No way.
- We need you.
So honestly,
are any of you?
- Not me.
(tense music)
- Hell no.
I doubt it's her either.
- We gotta make peaceful
contact with the wolves.
(water splashing)
If any of you is lying,
come to me privately.
It's okay.
I'm gonna check the rest of the perimeter.
(tense music continues)
- Wait,
- You're terrified, Suzie.
- We're gonna make it through tonight
and tomorrow we plan our escape.
If they come for you tonight,
fight them with everything you have.
(tense music continues)
(somber music)
(waves lapping)
- We should head back.
- Debbie gave her life for me.
(somber music continues)
Tonight, I'm gonna return the favor.
- You can't do that.
Like if I die, maybe the
wolf won't have to kill.
- Even if you die, the
forces kill anyways.
Don't be their puppet.
- It's just it's hopeless, okay, just,
please let me die my way.
(somber music continues)
- I can't let you do that.
- Don't take away the
last choice I have left.
(somber music continues)
(waves crashing)
(footsteps crunching)
(ominous music)
(birds chirping)
(tense music)
(footsteps crunching)
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
(footsteps crunching)
(waves crashing)
(tense music continues)
(footsteps crunching)
(alarm wailing)
(tense music continues)
(footsteps crunching)
(Monika gasping)
(tense music continues)
(footsteps crunching)
(siren wailing)
(Emmit grunting)
(foot thuds)
(tense music continues)
(light, bright music)
(dramatic music)
- You all have been so patient.
Thank you.
The therapy was working,
I felt myself healing and
becoming better for y'all,
but they tried to cut you from me.
So if I gotta face death, I
gotta go back to the old me.
So just know I'm doing
everything I can to get back.
(dramatic music continues)
But that means you may not
like the man that comes home.
I love you
and I'm sorry.
(footsteps echoing)
(tense music)
(Pepper crying)
(tense music continues)
(tense music continues)
(footsteps echoing)
(pen scratching)
(pillow rustling)
(Natalie wailing)
(tense music continues)
(Matt crying)
(tense music continues)
(ax whooshing and clinking)
- [Announcer] Attention villagers,
the hunting hour has begun.
Attention villagers, the
hunting hour has begun.
Attention villagers, the
hunting hour has begun.
(Emmit laughing)
Attention villagers, the
hunting hour has begun.
(tense music continues)
(wolf howling)
(footsteps crunching)
(crickets chirping)
(tense music continues)
(footsteps crunching)
(crickets chirping)
(branches cracking)
(ax whooshing and clinking)
(tense music continues)
(crickets chirping)
(wolf howling)
(tense music continues)
(door creaking)
(tense music continues)
(ominous music)
(Suzie screaming)
(knife whooshes)
(blood squishes)
(dramatic music)
(birds calling)
(bag rustling)
(bag thuds)
(tailgate squeaks)
(engine rumbling)
- No way.
- Damn,
she would've been useful,
- Unlike other people here?
- That's not what I meant.
- [Monika] Just watch what you say.
- Guys, Suzie's death
is a tragedy, all right,
but we can't let it break us.
I'm hosting a meeting in
15, I hope you'll join me.
- Emmit.
(tense music continues)
I thought something happened to you.
- I tried to run.
- I'm glad you're okay.
(footsteps crunching)
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
(dramatic music)
- Thank y'all for coming.
Thank y'all for coming.
We all know anything
we say, kind of a risk.
- Everything you say can and
will be used against you.
- It doesn't need to be like that.
- No, I think we need to
be able to talk openly
about our options.
- Options, is that what we
call murdering each other now?
(tense music)
- I guess we don't really
have a choice, do we?
- I'm sure the werewolves
felt the same way.
Just saying.
- What we all want to do
is leave this hellhole.
- Matt, do you mind if I
take over for a minute?
Hi, I'm Raymond
and I am the one who's going
to get us all outta here.
- Oh really?
- I can't make any promises,
but I do have some information.
- Sheesh, okay.
- There's a company
running this whole operation, Wellfin.
- The social media company?
- Media conglomerate actually,
they've since moved on
and much bigger now.
- No one's gonna say it, I'll say it.
Want me to, okay.
You, my guy, are just so, so sus.
- How do you know this?
- I used to work for them.
- And you knew about the game?
- Unofficially, I hacked company records.
(tense music continues)
- All right, I am just displaying
a healthy amount of
skepticism at this point.
- Seth.
- What?
- Fine, whatever.
Forget it.
I'm not a wolf, guys.
Okay, I am not a wolf.
If they wanted intel on me,
clearly they can get it easily.
I've done nothing suspicious.
(tense music continues)
- Does anybody else wanna take the floor?
Bill, you seem to be
well versed in deduction.
- I don't suspect anyone.
Suzie was strong and confident,
an obvious choice for the first murder.
Your guess is as good as mine, Pepper.
- Well, I just feel
like it's irresponsible
to target somebody if I'm
not entirely sure, you know.
I definitely don't think it's you, Bill.
- Oh, no, no, no.
You got someone on your mind, don't you?
- No, I don't have anyone on my mind, but,
I mean, Chris isn't here.
- How about that asshole?
You know I saw him stealing
community supplies earlier.
Natalie was there, too, she saw it, right?
- Yep.
(tense music continues)
- I told him if he didn't
tell me what he was up to,
I would rat him out, so
the rest is up to y'all.
- Well, we can't jump to conclusions,
but I'm assuming nobody's
eaten in a while.
Why don't we go pay Chris a visit?
- That's what I'm talking about, let's go.
- Okay, wait, before we just run off
on some crazy witch hunt, I'd
like to offer a suggestion.
I wanna push for a tie, buy us some time.
- I was thinking about that, too.
But a tie can ultimately
end in a double death.
- Maybe, but maybe not.
I volunteer, who wants to join me?
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
- I will, too.
- So cute.
So cute, you too.
But no.
(dramatic music)
No, guys, come on.
We understand the wolves could literally
skew the vote at any moment.
- Maybe, but the wolves
might wanna work with us,
go after the real enemy.
- I'm down to not kill anyone.
- All right, guys, this is
clearly getting us nowhere.
Say it's about time we go visit Rainbow.
Let's go.
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic music)
Chrissy Poo, Chris baby,
I just want to talk.
I'm telling you, this guy's up to no good.
(Seth banging)
I told you this would happen, Chris.
You still have time to explain yourself.
- [Chris] Back away from the door, Seth.
(dramatic music continues)
(footsteps thudding)
(bag thuds)
- That's nice, but that
doesn't prove anything.
(door thuds)
- Seth.
- What?
(dramatic music continues)
What?
- I have an announcement, so listen up.
I'm the only one here
with military training
and I know what it's like when supplies
are low, so I ration them.
- Yeah, how do we know you're not
hoarding more shit back there, huh?
- I took a humble 10%
handler's fee for being the one
who took the initiative to preserve
the integrity of the group.
Seth, I assume you'll
be all right with that.
- I guess, if the group does.
(dramatic music continues)
- Works for me.
- This is so cool.
- And smart.
- Since our last encounter,
I've been working.
If any of you wolves try
to infiltrate my domain,
I will be waiting to
rain down hell upon you.
Traps will be waiting for you
with secondary traps
just in case you manage
to get past the first few.
I don't know how you wolves hunt,
but even if you come at
me with assault rifles
and full body armor, I
will be ready for you.
It'll be "Home Alone" in here
and I will be the homie
standing alone when it's done.
If you manage to kill me, I
promise you I will hurt you,
badly, so the rest of my villager friends
will know it's you,
(dramatic music continues)
assuming I don't hunt
you down and find you
and kill you myself,
which I have every intention of doing.
- Right, this is what I'm talking about.
- Bill, I'm sorry about the
injury, I was off my game.
There will be no more
accidents going forward.
- Wow, cool story, bro.
Great alibi, this guy.
(footsteps thudding)
- I really think we should
just rule Chris out.
(door thuds)
(dramatic music continues)
- What, then who are we voting for?
Really, we're just
gonna go in there blind?
Really?
- Calm down, Seth.
- I am c-,
Villager 12.
- Seth.
- I just want to talk.
(tense music)
(Seth banging)
There you are, you got nothing to hide,
you got nothing to fear.
So just open up!
(tense music)
(door rattling)
(Seth banging)
(Seth bangs)
I know who I'm voting for.
See you at four, Shaggy.
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
- [Announcer] All villagers
report to the Great Hall.
(tense music)
All villagers report to the Great Hall.
(footsteps thudding)
(door banging)
All villagers report to the Great Hall.
(tense music continues)
(tense music continues)
(cards riffling)
(cards riffling)
(tense music continues)
(villager crying)
(tense music continues)
- You assholes.
You wanted me dead, you play
this game even towards it.
I wanted to participate,
(tense music continues)
but they wouldn't let me.
They lied about me, all A
bunch of lying assholes.
- What's your name, man?
- My name's Zack.
- Why were you not on record?
- I haven't been on record in a long time.
(tense music continues)
- So help us understand.
Zack, why weren't you in today?
- I haven't got up.
The bed was comfortable,
I couldn't get up.
- Zack, are you homeless?
- All y'all hate my guts.
You're killing me.
- Just look at him, he's
scared, and we don't know,
he might have psychological issues.
The fact is, he hasn't
done anything suspicious.
- Please, that suit
can't be cheap, Monika.
And look at his face.
(tense music continues)
- Seth, that literally proves nothing.
(clock ticking)
- Who should we vote for?
Who should we kill?
How the hell are we supposed
to make this decision?
Michael, answers, Pepper?
(tense music continues)
- Emmit.
Vote for a tie, Emmit and myself, please.
(clock ticking)
- [Judge] Let the voting begin.
(tablets beeping)
(dramatic music)
(tablets beeping)
- Help me.
(Zack crying)
(tablet beeping)
(dramatic music continues)
(gun shoots)
(Monika exclaims)
(dramatic music continues)
- Why wasn't there a tie,
five votes for Emmit and five for myself?
What is wrong with you people?
An innocent person just died.
None of you even care.
- I got Monika.
Tony, you just take it slow.
But enough moralizing,
it's bonus rule time.
- Oh my, could you shoot us
a damn text instead, huh?
- No.
(whip slashes)
- Oh, come on!
- Now, as I will was
saying among you villagers
are two superpowers.
The first one is the bodyguard,
which protects one villager per night
from the happy hunting wolf attack.
The second one is the oracle,
which reveals one villager every night.
And it looks like Zack
was a villager after all.
(tense music)
Now get the hell outta here!
(Pepper crying)
(dramatic music)
- Hey, hey, hey.
Where are you going?
- The group is fracturing.
Everything is falling apart.
- Get a grip, Raymond.
Listen to me.
You're right, these people are losing it.
- It really is hopeless, isn't it?
- Not yet, no.
We need a focus, a direction.
Obstacle two.
- Obstacle two.
(tense music)
It's really bad, Matt.
- You're the only one
who could save us, Ray.
Just tell me.
(tense music continues)
- Okay.
- I'm sorry, guys.
So sick of feeling terrified, thank you.
- Yeah, I think we all are.
Do you want me to take
a look at your hand?
(birds chirping)
(dramatic music)
- It really hurts.
- I'm sure.
I don't think anything's broken.
You'll be okay.
- You sure?
- Yeah.
- It's okay, Seth, I'll walk you back.
(birds chirping)
(tense music)
- You know I'm not an
oracle, not a bodyguard,
they're just hiding among us.
We gotta find out who they are.
Gotta find out who they are.
(birds chirping)
(tense music continues)
- I wish I were one of 'em.
God, I have never ever felt
so helpless in my whole life.
(dramatic music)
- You'll be safe, Monika, every night.
- What do you mean?
- There's a bodyguard,
I will keep you safe.
- You barely even know me, why
are you always protecting me?
- Why not?
(birds chirping)
(dramatic music continues)
(tense music)
(birds chirping)
(drums beating)
(light, bright music)
(birds chirping)
- Total shit show in there.
- Yep.
- You know, I own a god damn lumberyard.
- Really?
- Judge didn't bother to mention that.
(water trickling)
- You should have told us
about it at the meeting.
- That would make me
unbelievably impressive
and it would raise suspicion.
Lumber's not that
lucrative of an industry,
I'm making the margins work.
- Your secret is safe with me.
(birds chirping)
(bright music continues)
- It's another battle to win.
So I'm gonna win this thing
for me and whoever's left.
Nobody can touch me.
- Oh, no?
- Unless I want 'em to.
- So that's what this is?
- We could all use the stress relief.
And you're definitely a professional.
(tense music)
- Excuse me?
- What?
- You know, all you needed to
do is say another cute line
or two and I would've been all over you.
- What, what, then what's the problem?
- Your attitude, man.
- I was just trying to say that you're
probably really good at it.
- I could die tonight, screw it,
is what I thought before
you revealed yourself
to be a complete asshole.
(tense music continues)
(birds chirping)
- Could have handled that one better.
(dramatic music)
(bread crunching)
All of y'all are all sad about Zack now?
(dramatic music continues)
Look,
if we let his death turn
us against each other,
then he died for nothing.
There's clearly a lesson here.
Question is, are we gonna learn it?
- You're so god damn cool.
- Sometimes.
- I'm supposed to be a role model.
(dramatic music continues)
- Monika was right.
We should have trusted them.
- I should go find them.
I kinda wanna clear the air.
- I think they're doing
just fine on their own.
- Yeah?
- Oh yeah.
- Oh, oh,
Oh, okay.
(tense music)
(crickets chirping)
(owl hooting)
(footsteps crunching)
(romantic music)
(romantic music continues)
(Monika moaning)
(romantic music continues)
(couple moaning)
- Ah, yes.
(shirt rustling)
(romantic music continues)
Emmit, listen.
You can't protect me tonight.
I have this feeling and I
need you to guard yourself.
- I know but I'll see you
in the morning, I promise.
- No, they're going to kill you tonight,
you can't let that happen, please.
- It's not worth the risk.
- Think for yourself for once, please.
(romantic music continues)
- I am.
(tense music)
(crickets chirping)
(footsteps crunching)
(tense music continues)
(footsteps crunching)
(people grunting)
(tense music continues)
- You don't have to do this.
Don't become a monster to play the game.
(Emmit grunts and gasps)
(tense music continues)
Please, keep Monika safe.
(insects buzzing)
(tense music continues)
(somber music)
(rooster crowing)
(bag rustling)
(somber music continues)
(somber music continues)
(bag rustling)
(guard grunts)
(bag thuds)
(tailgate slams)
(engine rumbling)
(somber music continues)
(birds calling)
- I should have spoken up earlier.
I was trying to solve this,
to present you with a case of evidence.
(tense music)
I suspected Emmit.
Whatever you have to
say, we'll hear you out.
- For sure.
- Tell him, Ray.
- Which one of you?
Which one of you?!
Which one of you is gonna
join me in a tie this time?!
(tense music continues)
Seriously no one, no one.
You know, all of you talk about
wanting to get outta here,
and yet not one of you is actually willing
to do anything about it.
You're just cowards.
You know, why don't you
just kill me next time
and get it over with, okay.
- Monika, I will join you, okay.
Please, sit down.
(dramatic music)
- Take a drink, kiddo.
- Where were you guys in all this?
- Well, this entire operation
is a digital mining experiment.
Wellfin is building an algorithm
to use against every digital platform
you could possibly think of.
- How did you find this out?
- I was part of the data mining team
for Wellfin apps.
They turned to public perception,
experimentation, gang stalking, doom porn.
- That is so exciting,
especially that last part.
But remind me, what does this have
anything to do with the game?
- Well, long, long story short,
I hacked into my superior's email
and I found the algorithm.
It needed more data,
human experimentation.
Every aspect of this place
is a shifting testing ground
to study humanity at its absolute worst.
This algorithm is part of
a human behavioral program
to control people's actions.
- Mind control?
- Well, I believe
they're using microchips,
the guards, I think that they're
using them to control them.
- Ooh, could those things be inside of us?
- I don't know.
- Are you telling me that they could be
remote controlling our brains?
- Seth, We told him we'd hear him out.
- I'm hearing him out, all right.
Do you guys believe this?
- We're here, aren't we?
- This is insane.
- Exactly, guys.
- Seth, calm down.
Raymond, this is a lot for us to take in.
- I know.
- Then how do we escape?
- Kill the guards, take the judge hostage.
- It's the only way.
But first, the wolves
have to show themselves.
(tense music)
- I don't know if y'all forgot,
but there's about 12 armed giga-Chads
who just easily took out our top fighter.
Sorry Chris, no offense.
And we don't know where the hell we are.
Guys, this is a werewolf,
he's trying to tear apart the group.
- I think you've said enough.
- Have I, Bill, have I?
You're trying to shut up the only person
who's thinking critically around here.
Do you really think they'd let him escape?
- I saw the winner's records.
- Yeah, for them, not for you.
- Relax, Seth.
- Monika, do you believe any of this?
(tense music continues)
This guy is sus and he's
messing with our heads.
- Please stop saying sus.
- Then how do you suppose we leave
without killing ourselves, Ray?
- I have an observation for you, Seth,
the behavior patterns
of past wolf winners.
They're either usually quiet
and only have a voice when in a group
or the loud ones,
the ones who are hyper-reactive
and know how to manipulate the group.
- Are you accusing me directly, Ray,
is that what you're doing?
- Sit down, Seth.
- Great job building rapport
with the group, Bill.
You and Ray got a great
thing going on here.
- I am not backing him up.
I'm just organizing the conversation.
- Do you even hear yourself?
- Are you accusing Bill?
- I don't know if you guys forgot,
but we have a big choice to make
and nobody is listening,
- Shut up, Seth!
- Sit down and listen to me.
I am the oracle.
Okay, Bill is not a werewolf.
Bill is the only person that's been trying
to keep us together
and I am putting my life on the line
just so you could shut up.
- Okay.
(dramatic music)
- Monika, who was the bodyguard?
- It was Emmit.
Emmit was the bodyguard,
but he's dead now, so.
(birds chirping)
(somber music)
- I'm sorry, Pepper, I,
- Thank you for your courage, Pepper.
Did you see anyone else?
- Chris.
- I'm surprised you doubted me.
- Take it as a compliment.
- I will.
- So what now?
- Matt, Bill, and Chris,
you guys will vote for me.
Seth, Natalie, and Pepper, vote for Ray,
Is that fair for everyone?
- It is, and after the vote,
anyone that wants to help Raymond
and myself escape, meet back here.
There's still hope.
- Yeah, right.
(somber music)
- [Judge] Let the voting begin.
(tablets beeping)
(tense music)
(tablet beeps)
- [Monika] Last person, vote for me, now,
What are you waiting for?
(tablet beeping)
- Wait!
(tense music continues)
When I die, this entire
program will be exposed online.
- Oh, good.
- You lost, Judge.
Wellfin is through.
(tense music continues)
- You do realize that every
document, every video record
that we allowed to take was falsified
and relegated to mindless
conspiracy theory?
(tense music continues)
- No, no, no, no, I recognize that voice.
- How impressive.
- It can't possibly be you.
Richard,
Richard Sackless.
- Goodbye, Raymond.
(gun shoots)
(body thuds)
(somber music)
(Matt crying)
- I don't know what that
fool was talking about.
- Judge,
is that a wolf?
- Not at all.
- Have any other wolves been eliminated?
- We will inform you
when the game is over.
- God damn, you people,
Raymond was our last chance.
He was my friend.
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music continues)
- I have solved it.
The wolves' rein of terror is over.
I apologize, honestly, I should have seen
through them a lot sooner.
It's you, Matt and Monika.
It's them, I'm sure of it.
- Excuse me, Monika?
- Thank you.
- What the hell, mate?
I do nothing but try to get us out here.
- Guilt, that is the key here.
Matt justifies his killing by trying
to escape during the day.
Tell me that doesn't make sense.
- I mean, it's possible,
but you can micro-analyze
people all day like that.
- Then maybe we should.
- Bill, are you positive about all this?
- And Monika,
all of those self-sacrificial gestures
are a balm for the soul, aren't they?
I mean, pulling the bullet
out of the old guy's shoulder.
That's sweet.
Tell me, did Matt kill
your boyfriend for you
or did you do it yourself?
- You're gonna die next.
- Well, then kill me tonight.
But I solved it.
I won.
(tense music)
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic music)
- Oh God.
(crickets chirping)
(tense music)
(owl hooting)
- I had a feeling it would be me.
Hunting alone tonight?
(tense music continues)
Well, I want to give
you a piece of my mind.
That is one scary costume.
Let me see your face, I'm not gonna fight.
(air whooshes)
Interesting.
(knife whooshes)
(Bill screams)
(tense music)
(engine rumbling)
- Pepper, who'd you see last night?
- Matt.
- You used it on me?
- Yeah.
- Thank you,
I won't take it personal.
- Why didn't you use it on me?
- She didn't think it was necessary.
(tense music)
(spider chewing)
(tense music continues)
- Monika.
Monika, Monika, you have to listen to me.
They're gonna try and kill me.
Please, Monika, I have to explain.
- Things have been getting
a little heavy around here,
quite drab actually.
You know what, hey kids,
I think it's another pop quiz.
I'm gonna point to one little dude,
I want you to name everybody
so far and one fun fact
and we'll start with Chris.
(tense music continues)
(footsteps echoing)
- My name is Chris Constant
and I own a lumberyard.
(knife whooshes)
(guard screams)
(dramatic music)
(guard grunts)
(body thuds)
(Chris grunts)
(guard screams)
(Chris grunting)
(footsteps thudding)
(knife clicks)
- [Chris] You stabbed me in the back.
(knife whooshes)
(Chris grunting)
Get off me, get, ah,
ah, get off, get off me.
Stabbed and I still took
two of you bastards with me!
Get off me, get off me now!
(tense music)
(gun shoots)
(Monika screams)
- Oh, well, I guess that's it.
All right, it's time to vote.
(tense music continues)
- We're still voting?
- Yeah, of course.
- Okay, guys, listen.
This is the last round of voting.
There's only four villagers
left and two are werewolves.
- We don't know if one remain or two.
- It doesn't matter.
My decision is clear.
- Wow, wow, nice.
Hey, why don't you just grow some balls,
come out and tell everyone
you just want me dead,
huh, say it.
- Okay, just let me
think for a second.
Just wait a minute, let me think.
Our options are me, Natalie, and you.
Seth, are you a werewolf?
- No, no.
That's what I've been
trying to tell you, Monika.
(tense music)
- Seth has been stirring
the pot from the start.
- When have I ever stirred
the pot, huh, Natalie?
- Always, Seth!
- Damn right.
(tense music continues)
(clock ticking)
- Matt, it should be you.
- Well, you ain't helping.
- I'm sorry, Seth,
I wouldn't have thought that it was you,
but it seems like you're cornered.
- No, no, no, no, no, no, listen!
(tense music continues)
- Yes, yes, yes, as it turns out, Matt,
I am a good judge of character.
You're the wolf and I know it.
(tense music continues)
- He's a villager, I saw it.
- Monika, listen to me, Natalie, you too.
There's absolutely no logical reason
the wolves haven't killed Pepper yet.
- You sick bastard.
Are you accusing the oracle of lying?
- Yeah, yeah I am.
- Shut up, you psychopathic murderer.
- Listen, ladies, listen.
It doesn't matter who Bill suspected.
The Oracle is the one
with leverage. Right?
It's the wolves' prime target, right?
But the oracle isn't you, Pepper.
No, no,
It was Suzie.
The oracle is Suzie, you killed her.
You killed her and took her identity.
She's covering for Matt.
They are the werewolves!
- Piss off, you delusional prick!
- Oh, fuck you, Matt,
you sus shaggy bastard!
(Matt panting)
(tense music continues)
(tablet beeps)
Cute.
Nice, but it doesn't matter now.
Hey, how about you go ahead
and vote for me too, huh?
Go ahead, prove you're
guilty, go on, go for it.
- This is insane.
- Listen, ladies, I am not a werewolf.
(tense music continues)
- Monika, I don't know
what he's talking about.
- I am not a werewolf.
(tablet beeps)
(clock ticking)
(tense music)
Natalie, I am sorry I am such an asshole,
but I am not a liar.
- Don't let him trick us.
Let's just kill him now and win this game.
(tense music continues)
(clock ticking)
(tablet beeps)
- Please.
Natalie.
(tense music continues)
I'm a good guy.
- Natalie, please, just make it.
Now.
(Seth muttering)
(tense music continues)
Now!
(tablet beeps)
(tablet beeping)
(footsteps thudding)
(gun shoots)
(body thuds)
(dramatic music)
(Judge sighs)
(Seth crying)
- Why wouldn't any of them listen to me?
- Because you're an asshole.
Devilishly clever, so
filled with self-assurance,
yet totally, watching people like you burn
is a treat that I never tire of.
- Burn in hell.
(dramatic music continues)
- Adios.
- The game is over?
(dramatic music continues)
- Pepper, you're the
one that killed Emmit?
- Monika, I don't know what's happening.
- My God,
it is you.
- I am innocent.
- You're sick.
(dramatic music continues)
(Matt panting)
(somber music)
(waves rolling)
(tense music)
- Emmit, I'm sorry.
I failed you and
I still can't do it.
(waves rolling)
(tense music)
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic music)
(birds chirping)
(tense music)
(footsteps crunching)
- Monika.
Oh my gosh, what happened?
I'm so sorry, I messed it all up.
Gosh, I'm so sorry.
What happened?
It's all my fault.
- Matt,
Pepper, I have something to tell you.
(tense music)
- How bad is it?
- They're gonna kill you two.
- I mean, maybe the
guards are the werewolves.
- Pepper, just drop it already, okay.
You played us from the start.
You were strong and I was pathetic.
The odds were stacked against you,
so congratulations, but you
two aren't gonna win this.
- You soulless bitch.
- Don't you dare, Natalie.
Trusting you would've been suicide.
Right, Matt?
Matt?
(bright music)
(bright music continues)
- My daughter has a soccer game tonight.
I thought I'd be home in time to see her.
You used the love of my wife
and my child against me.
- You were gonna roll
over and watch us die!
- You manipulated me, I don't want this!
- I was protecting you!
- You're evil!
(Pepper screams)
- I'm sorry.
- What are we?
- Let me go.
- What are we, Pepper?
- I don't know.
- Wolf, villager, it doesn't
matter now, all right.
- Oh, bullshit, Monika.
- Where would all this
payoff money come from?
Raymond said these games
have been running for years.
(dramatic music)
They can't just release us, can they?
- Who is the perfect lie?
- No, she's just trying
to mess with your head.
It's over, we won.
You're incredible, you saved my life.
We can go home now.
- Do you honestly think
that these demons just gonna
give you millions of dollars
for your silence or just kill you?
- You have no idea.
You guys have been hunting me.
I have to sit and listen
to your little meetings
plotting my death.
- I pushed for a tie.
- You're living in a fantasy, Monika.
Did you really think Matt and I
would be able to live if we didn't hunt?
- No.
(dramatic music)
- Finally, some honesty.
Our life is not worth any less than yours.
We were trying to escape
with you guys during the day
and fight for survival at night.
- Pepper, well, Monika says that so,
- Oh, shut up Matt.
I knew you would turn on me.
I knew I was alone from the start.
I am ending this game tonight.
I'm not gonna let you monsters murder me.
- Pepper, listen,
I blamed you this whole time.
I just want to see my
wife and hug my child.
- I was only trying to just save us, Matt.
I don't wanna die.
It's not fair, we're so close.
(tense music)
- I won't let them hurt you. Pepper.
- We beat you, Monika.
- Yeah, you did.
You won.
- What do you two want from me?
- I wanna kill the Judge.
- How can you say that?
(dramatic music)
- Well, I guess I learned
I'm a lot like you.
I got a lot of determination.
What do you say?
(dramatic music continues)
(display beeping)
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic music continues)
(footsteps crunching)
(dramatic music continues)
(companions screaming)
(tense music)
(gun shoots)
(gun shooting)
(punch thuds)
(Matt grunts)
(punch thuds)
(knife clinks)
(tense music continues)
(combatants grunting)
(blows thudding)
(gauntlets clinking)
(air whooshing)
(tense music continues)
(combatants grunting)
(blows thudding)
(tense music continues)
(guard grunting)
(tense music continues)
(knife clinking)
(guard grunting)
(blows squish)
(gun shoots)
(tense music continues)
- Matt!
(somber music)
- Nice shot, kiddo.
- Matt.
- I'm a monster, Pepper.
- No, you're not.
You're a hero.
- Don't let my family know.
- I won't.
(somber music continues)
(birds chirping)
(somber music continues)
Let's kill that smirking bastard.
(dramatic music)
(footsteps echoing)
(dramatic music continues)
- Raymond was right after all.
- It doesn't matter, we move on.
Let's go.
(door creaking)
(door thuds)
(tense music)
- Congratulations, my darlings,
you have won the game.
- You son of a bitch, prepare to die!
- Natalie, stop.
- I got something to show you.
Now, you can keep your
weapons if you wish.
You won't need them, but hang on to it.
(Judge laughing)
Before I continue,
(air whooshing)
I should show you myself.
(dramatic music)
(Judge sighs)
My name is Frederick,
(electronics whirring)
I'm the appointed judge
for the werewolf game.
You gotta excuse the theatrics,
the brass upstairs
requires a bit of a show.
But you gotta think of a Judge as like a,
like a life coach,
gymnastics just molding
you into the perfection
that you are.
It's like life coaches, okay?
We're just there to push you a little bit.
And this Judge is extremely proud of you.
You three are the first to reach ascension
through the rebellion path.
And these fine people
are living their besties
on assorted islands, fishing,
walking on the sea, popping coconuts,
living in a life of luxury.
- What are you talking about?
- I was rooting for you three.
- God damn it, Monika,
what the hell is he talking about?
- Put the weapons down.
Just do it.
(dramatic music)
- The odds were not great for you.
Deep down, you knew it.
Well finis looking for the best people
to join us at the top to guide humanity.
Look, the common man, he hates his life.
He's poisoning himself with drink,
and food, and love, crippling their mind
and their spirit into
an unconscious death.
That is why Wellfin came looking for you.
- For what?
- To guide humanity.
(tense music)
Trust me, you can still have a good life,
just take the money.
Okay, every guard in the vicinity
is right outside that door.
(tense music continues)
(Judge panting and gasping)
I just want to be free.
We all could be free.
(Judge grunts)
(Judge gasps)
(dramatic music)
(blow thuds)
(Natalie crying)
(dramatic music continues)
(Natalie crying)
- [Announcer] Judge compromise detected,
vital signs depleted,
initiating sanitation procedures.
Judge compromise detected,
vital signs depleted,
initiating sanitation procedures,
containment personnel deployed.
(dramatic music)
(bird calls)
- Our chariot awaits.
