[Hye-ri] Should we huddle up first?
-[Karina] Yeah.
-[Do-hoon] Okay.
-[Hye-ri] "Agents of Mystery, let's go"?
-[Yong-jin] Yeah.
-Hands up? Okay.
-[Yong-jin] Okay.
Agents of Mystery!
-[all] Let's go!
-Let's go, let's go.
[thrilling music playing]
[narrator] Agents of Mystery
is a reality adventure show
where six participants act as agents
for a secret organization
investigating supernatural cases,
all for the purpose of carrying out
their covert missions.
The mysterious cases,
locations, and missions
have all been planned
by the production team.
But the six participants investigating
have no idea
-[Eun-ji] What are you doing?
-what's really in store for them.
-[Hye-ri] This is insane.
-[all screaming]
[Eun-ji] Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
I think the Gates of Hell have opened.
[narrator] For them,
every situation will feel real.
They will investigate
each phenomenon as a team
-as if it were a real-life case.
-We found it!
[gasps]
-[Hye-ri] Oppa!
-[Karina] Oh, man! I'm so impressed.
[narrator]
Watch now to see them in action.
[all] Silleng hiero igbaro.
[Hye-ri exclaims]
[Hye-ri gasps]
What's this?
[Hye-ri gasps]
Wow.
Oh!
HYE-RI
I feel like everything's a clue.
It has to be, you know?
I will apply myself harder.
-Eun-ji.
-What?
[Hye-ri] I got a good night's sleep,
almost 12 hours last night,
so I could do well today.
[all scream]
[exclaims]
HYE-RI: ESCAPE ROOM CONNOISSEUR,
UNLUCKY ACE, ACTRESS
Hello.
Hi, hi.
LEE YONG-JIN
Just just wait.
[soft groan]
Since I brought it up, I'll do it.
I'd like to take on
the role of the tank on the frontline.
And that means
there's an element of sacrifice.
Rina, lead the way.
[all chuckle]
She's the youngest.
Let's go.
LEE YONG-JIN: SELECTIVE FRONTLINER,
INVOLUNTARY LEADER, COMEDIAN
[Yong-jin] Oh. Look who it is.
-[Hye-ri] Hi.
-Hey.
JOHN PARK
I enjoy doing puzzles, you know?
Games like that. I like solving problems.
-Sacrifices.
-Ah.
[Eun-ji] Thank you, John.
I love you, John.
No, hey, team effort.
-So the way this works is
-[Eun-ji and Karina] Yeah.
long, dot, short.
These are the three types.
That's insane.
Can you repeat it? Dots
JOHN PARK: PUZZLE MASTER,
PRO COMPETITION SURVIVOR, SINGER
Why isn't anyone sitting down?
-[Hye-ri] Just me then.
-There's no way I can sit.
-Wow, look at this.
-[Yong-jin] Who on earth could sit now?
I'm jazzed up.
-[Eun-ji] Yong-jin.
-Oh, hi, hi.
-[John] Hey!
-[Eun-ji] Hi, Yong-jin. Hi, everyone.
-[Yong-jin] Come on, come in.
-My oppas.
LEE EUN-JI
Hye-ri, Rina.
[Eun-ji] Rina, you coming?
I kinda wanted to be
like Special Agent Mulder.
Oh! What's this? What is this?
[all screaming]
Hey, I'm soaked through my panties.
LEE EUN-JI: SYMPATHETIC GUARDIAN,
FOX MULDER WANNABE, COMEDIAN
-What is this?
-[Hye-ri] No idea.
This seems weird.
-Hello.
-[Yong-jin] Hi.
-[Yong-jin and Eun-ji] Hello.
-Hi, Rina.
-Hi, guys.
-[Eun-ji] Hi, Rina.
KARINA
[agents screaming]
[agents exclaim]
[Eun-ji]
Rina, you said you weren't scared.
[Karina] Okay. I, I
I'm the youngest, so I hope
I can help the team somehow.
-[John] Is there a pen?
-Here. Here's a pen.
-I brought it.
-[Eun-ji] Ah, good job.
Rina, you are so on the ball, girl.
KARINA: QUICKEST AND YOUNGEST,
SCARES EASILY, SINGER
-[John] Hey, Do-hoon.
-Hello.
-[Yong-jin] Hey!
-[Karina] Hello!
KIM DO-HOON
I couldn't wait for today, could not wait.
[Do-hoon] We have to find something.
What's this?
Huh? What is this? What is that?
What on earth?
What is this?
[Do-hoon] Keep adding more water.
[whispers]
Yong-jin. Yong-jin!
Hye-ri!
KIM DO-HOON: OVERZEALOUS,
INQUISITIVE, ACTOR
-[Hye-ri] Did you get anything?
-[Karina] No, I didn't, nothing.
-[Yong-jin] Is it hidden?
-I didn't get anything.
-[Do-hoon] Could they be hidden?
-You'd better speak up now. Speak up.
I didn't get anything.
-[Yong-jin] Me neither.
-[John] No.
-I got nothing.
-[John] I'm in the dark here.
They didn't tell me anything.
A writer gave me
a piece of candy, that's it.
-[laughter]
-[Do-hoon] What? I got one of those too.
Yeah, so did I. That's all I got.
[Hye-ri] In case our blood sugar drops?
Don't just take it, you could pass out.
[John] I ate mine.
You could end up like this.
Don't trust anyone.
All I have is lipstick
in case my color fades.
Yeah, me too.
-We can share them then.
-Eun-ji, a comb.
Oh, good move, good move.
-You're a well-prepared woman.
-Yeah.
Same with all our cell phones, right?
-Yeah.
-I had to leave mine, yeah.
[Eun-ji]
I was told to hand everything over.
-They took mine.
-[Yong-jin] Yeah, they took it.
-I have mine.
-What?
What are you gonna do, man?
-I shoulda kept quiet.
-You're a spy! We got a spy here.
-No cheating.
-[John] I'll put it out there.
-[Karina] So honest.
-[Eun-ji] You're a spy.
That's why he's got a guilty conscience.
[Do-hoon] I was told there were no spies.
[Yong-jin] What if they let you
keep your phone on purpose, huh?
No, it's better this way.
-Yeah, none of us should have one.
-[TV buzzes]
-[all exclaim]
-[mysterious voice] Welcome.
-Welcome.
-[Karina] Wow.
[suspenseful music playing]
We are a global group of anarchists
known as the X Investigation Network,
or XIN for short.
-[all exclaim]
-XIN
is an organization that covertly solves
a wide range
of mysterious cases and phenomena
occurring all over the world.
[Yong-jin] All right.
[XIN] We now possess an exploratory device
which is capable of detecting
unexplained electromagnetic waves,
known as X-Electric Waves,
which are emitted
from an as-yet-undiscovered substance.
-X-Electric
-Using this device,
we are able to find the exact locations
of these mysterious phenomena.
You have been selected as our agents,
and you will investigate the locations
where we have detected these waves.
Get to the bottom of these cases.
Complete the missions assigned to you.
I will now brief you on the mission
you are required to carry out.
Recently, X-Electric Waves
have been detected at high levels
in the area around Seoul.
And after tracing them,
we discovered they come from a factory
sitting at the outskirts of the city.
The owner of the factory
is named Ko Gui-tae.
He was arrested
as a suspect in a kidnapping,
-So he's a suspect.
-but he was later released
due to insufficient evidence
against him at the time.
The factory in question
is reported to have closed down
and is not currently in use.
However, in the past month,
three separate missing persons reports
have been filed with the local police.
They're all the same age?
Born in 2004?
Based on the fact
that all three missing persons share
the exact same date of birth,
we believe that these three cases
are likely connected to one another.
Oh.
In addition, we assume
that the whereabouts of the women
are connected to this abandoned factory
because it is confirmed
that the cell phone signal
of one of the women was lost there.
There are two parts
to your mission assignment today.
First, investigate the phenomena
taking place within the abandoned factory.
Okay.
Second,
determine whether
the three missing persons are alive
and rescue them.
-Right.
-I hope they're all alive.
In the drawer behind you,
you will find
small two-way radios and a camera.
-Ah.
-These two-way radios are to be used
only in the case of last resort,
in the event of an emergency.
What do they mean, "last resort"?
My palms are sweaty.
[Hye-ri] Do we
Do we each get one?
[Do-hoon] Wait, are we starting right now?
-[Eun-ji] Really? We're going now?
-[Hye-ri] Just like this?
-So the camera's for gathering evidence?
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
"Put the mini walkie-talkie
inside the zippered compartment
and attach it to your ankle
as you would a brace."
[Yong-jin] On your ankle?
[Eun-ji] We wear them.
[XIN]
Before you make your way to the location,
I have one additional
piece of information for you.
We have developed
a one-of-a-kind apparatus
to transport you to the closed-off scene.
-Ooh. Wait. What now?
-And that is
-a Teleportation Chamber.
-[Eun-ji gasps]
Teleportation?
[door rumbles]
[all exclaim in surprise]
-[Eun-ji] Oh, look at that.
-[Do-hoon] Wow.
[Karina] What?
[narrator] The chamber behind you
will enable you to teleport
to any pre-programmed coordinates.
However, a time limit applies
to this teleportation.
[gasps]
After teleportation, the maximum time
you can remain at your location
is six hours.
Six hours?
Five hours after you arrive at the scene,
the chamber will be ready again.
The doors will open and you will be able
to teleport back to this location.
The doors will remain open
for only 60 minutes.
[timer beeping]
After this hour has elapsed,
whether all of you are on board or not,
-the chamber will return to base.
-Oh, so it comes back?
The doors will close with or without you.
-[Yong-jin] So if we don't get on
-They leave us?
If you do not return in the allotted time,
you may suffer dematerialization,
which is fatal.
So we need to be careful.
Please be sure to return to base
within the time limit.
The secrets of our organization
and our agents must not be exposed.
If you are compromised,
XIN will disavow
any and all involvement in this mission.
With that, I wish you all luck.
-Should we take these?
-[Eun-ji] Yeah, take them.
I got big pockets.
-[Hye-ri] Park Oppa, you take the camera.
-I got it.
[Eun-ji] Six? We gotta get out of there
in six hours?
Six hours. The doors open after five hours
and we have an hour
to get back on board and return.
-[Eun-ji] We come back here?
-[Hye-ri] I've never teleported before.
-It's nerve-wracking.
-Totally.
-[Hye-ri] Come on.
-[John] So this is how we teleport, huh?
-[Do-hoon] Yeah.
-Somehow,
-I feel we should press that to start.
-Yeah.
-[Do-hoon] Should I
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
-[Yong-jin] Do-hoon, let's go.
-Right now?
-[Eun-ji] Let's go. Huddle.
-[Yong-jin] Huddle, huddle.
-[John] Team huddle?
-[Yong-jin] One, two, three.
[all] Let's go!
-Should I press it?
-Do it, Do-hoon.
[theme music playing]
AGENTS OF MYSTERY
-Should I press it?
-Do it, Do-hoon.
[all exclaim]
[Hye-ri] This is kinda scary actually.
Oh. I think it's moving!
[Hye-ri gasps]
[all scream]
[Hye-ri] What's happening?
I thought it would be a simulation,
that it would be edited, like,
"Whoa, we're being teleported."
I could barely stand,
I was really surprised, actually.
I was caught off guard
by how turbulent it was, honestly.
Did it feel like going into space?
Somehow, it totally felt like
we were going through
some kind of other dimension
that doesn't exist on Earth.
I had no idea
it was going to move like that.
It was just so realistic. I was convinced.
I could absolutely imagine
that's what it would feel like
to be teleported.
[Eun-ji] Whoa, this is crazy.
[Do-hoon]
So we have to find those three women,
-[Eun-ji] Yeah.
-figure out the intentions of that guy
-[Eun-ji and Yong-jin] Yeah.
-and take pictures of the scene.
Okay?
-Remember, we can't get caught.
-Totally.
We're really somewhere else.
How on earth did they do that?
-[John] Whoa.
-[Yong-jin] Did it actually move?
[Hye-ri] I can't believe it.
-[Karina] I know, right?
-[Yong-jin] It moved? Seriously?
Well, let's go then.
-Whoa.
-[tense sting]
[Do-hoon]
There was blood splattered on the walls,
and there were things that looked
like torture devices lying around.
Looks like a case of foul play.
"Oh, no. We've walked into a room
we're not supposed to be in."
That's how it felt.
There are blood stains. Check it out.
-Whoa, this is insane.
-[Hye-ri] Seriously.
What the
Blood. This is horrible.
I'm not scared of ghosts,
but I am scared of people.
Even when it comes to movies.
I get scared when people hurt each other.
Especially if it's realistic.
And that's exactly how this was.
Someone hurt someone. This is bad.
[whispers]
Shouldn't we Yong-jin, Yong-jin.
[Eun-ji] Shouldn't we be taking photos?
-Like of the blood stains, maybe?
-Good thinking.
-[Karina] Everything.
-Yeah, I got it.
[camera shutter clicks]
[Karina] You're good at taking pictures.
-We should've tested the walkie-talkies.
-[Eun-ji] Oh, yeah.
Should we do it now?
-[Hye-ri] Or let's go in first.
-[Eun-ji] In we go.
[Hye-ri] Guys, I think we should
We should test the walkie-talkies.
-[Eun-ji] Test each one.
-[Karina] While it's still safe.
[doors whirring]
-[Karina] It closed.
-[Hye-ri] We have six hours.
[timer ticking]
-[Eun-ji] The clock started?
-[Hye-ri] Yeah, it has.
Should we test the walkie-talkies
-[Hye-ri] Yeah, yeah, let's do that.
-before we keep going?
How does this work?
If you press this
[Yong-jin] Here. Let me see it.
Right, hello,
this is Eun-ji's walkie-talkie.
[Yong-jin] Yeah. It's working. Try again.
[Hye-ri] Can you hear this?
-[Eun-ji] Oh, it works, it works.
-Okay, we can hear you.
-Press the button to speak.
-Yeah, press, then speak.
-Oh. I hear you, I hear you.
-[Yong-jin] Okay.
[Eun-ji] God, this is spooky.
[Hye-ri] It's so scary, right?
[eerie music playing]
-We're all scared, right?
-[Eun-ji] Yeah.
-I'm freaking out.
-[Eun-ji] Me too.
Rina, lead on.
[all chuckle]
-"Rina, lead on."
-Come on.
Rina, lead on.
-[Eun-ji] Look, Rina
-She's the youngest.
-[Eun-ji] I'm so scared.
-Get a move on.
-[John] There's larvae.
-[Eun-ji] Gross.
[eerie music continues]
Look, look!
Hye-ri, hey! Hye-ri, look over here.
[Hye-ri exclaims]
[Hye-ri] There's something
written on the wall here.
-[Yong-jin] Oh, my God.
-[Eun-ji] What's that?
[Hye-ri] It must be some kind of code,
don't you think?
-[Karina] Should we take a photo?
-[Do-hoon] Yeah, definitely.
-[Hye-ri] Photograph everything.
-[John] Yeah, for sure.
It's not a film camera, is it?
We can take as many photos as we want.
[camera shutter clicks]
[John] This feels like
it has some sort of significance.
[Hye-ri] Wow, is this really
Is this a dead end?
-I think we need to get through here.
-[Hye-ri] What do we do here?
This is nuts.
[Do-hoon] Rina, we have to survive this.
-[Karina] Good luck.
-[Do-hoon] Good luck.
[Karina] Don't abandon us.
[Hye-ri] Hold on.
First off, let's be calm.
How are we supposed to find clues here?
I think everything's a clue.
It has to be, you know?
Careful, Do-hoon.
[tense music playing]
[Do-hoon] Shh.
[Eun-ji whispers]
Hey, guys! Yong-jin.
[Do-hoon whispers]
There are people walking around.
There are people walking around
out there wearing white cloaks.
[Yong-jin] Hang on, let me see.
Let me take a look.
Oh, I see them.
Hey guys, out there, there's like,
a giant hall. It's huge.
They're wearing hooded white robes.
And they're marching around single file.
Don't cry, Oppa.
-[Yong-jin] Go look. See for yourself.
-[Karina] Do I have to?
Wow, I can't believe it.
We really need to keep it down.
I can't believe it.
[Yong-jin] It's unbelievable.
You see?
Look, there they are.
[Hye-ri gasps]
What the hell is this?
[Hye-ri] They're doing something.
Let's get out of here.
Jesus, this is crazy.
[Karina] My heart's pounding.
I feel like my brain's gonna shut down.
[Eun-ji] Hye-ri. Let's talk about this.
Let's figure it out.
-What is going on here?
-[Yong-jin] You know
after everything
that we saw out there and in here,
it looks like
they're abducting people, right?
And torturing them and that kind of stuff.
-Motherless bastards.
-[all chuckle]
-[Eun-ji] Seriously?
-They're the bad guys, right?
They torture people with this stuff.
They do those kinds of things.
Yeah, yeah.
They were walking single file,
offering a sacrifice.
So this guy must be up to something.
-[Eun-ji] Like a cult kind of thing.
-[Yong-jin] Oh, yeah, that's right.
-Something to do with religion
-[Yong-jin] That's a good guess.
If it's a cult, that explains
the hieroglyph things on the wall.
-[Eun-ji] That's why they're there?
-[Yong-jin] Yeah.
It's all starting to make sense to me now.
It's like a language.
Their own secret code.
[Yong-jin] At first,
I thought it could be like a
like a coded message
left by one of the victims,
or to communicate something
to whoever finds it, but then
[Yong-jin] Scissors
-Hye-ri.
-[indistinct chatter]
-[Yong-jin] Are those scissors?
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
[Yong-jin]
I think all these symbols are tools.
-[Hye-ri] Drawings of tools?
-[Yong-jin] Don't they look like tools?
Oppa, are any
of the symbols here repeated?
Yeah, like like this one.
This one is the same as that one.
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
-[Yong-jin] And
-Wait. These These are also the same.
-[Hye-ri] These are the same too.
Or could there be any characters
or something similar written on the tools?
I mean, there could be a code
written on something like this.
Something like these symbols you mean?
Written on stuff?
[Eun-ji] Rina, Hoon, can you look
for symbols like these somewhere else?
[Hye-ri] Or things in, like, these shapes.
[Eun-ji] F8? It wasn't like
the Korean or Latin alphabet.
They were more like hieroglyphs.
-[gasps]
-[Hye-ri] What?
-What is it?
-[Yong-jin] What's up?
[Karina] You scared me.
[Eun-ji] This might be a stretch.
-You wanna connect them?
-[Eun-ji] It might be a stretch,
but don't you think
these look kind of similar?
-[Yong-jin] Yeah.
-[Karina] You might be right.
[Yong-jin] Look at this.
I think this thing here is that. Look.
-You see? Right?
-[Eun-ji] Or not?
[Do-hoon] What about the blood streaks?
The blood, yeah, that could be something.
Do you think we're supposed to pull
the chains to match the blood streaks?
[Do-hoon] One, two, three, four,
five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,
eleven, twelve, thirteen,
fourteen, fifteen, sixteen.
-One, two, three, four
-[Eun-ji] Something about the spaces
is bugging me.
-Why are there only spaces here and here?
-[Yong-jin] Right?
[Hye-ri] Since some of them
Since some of the characters
are duplicates,
I feel like these could be letters, but
-These two are the same, yeah.
-Right.
Would they become letters
if we folded the line onto itself?
Numbers or letters?
That thought crossed my mind,
but there was no pattern.
So, there was just absolutely nothing
to guide us,
it was like flying blind.
-It feels like there's nothing to go on.
-[Hye-ri] I know.
I wonder if we just need to look
a little harder,
so that's what I'm doing now.
We tried a lot of different things
in that room. Everything.
A telescope?
There's nothing. Absolutely nothing.
[Karina sighs]
[ominous music playing]
[Yong-jin] Jesus.
Oh, man, maybe
[Karina] Don't walk around alone.
[Yong-jin] I'm fine.
Rina, come here, look at this. Eun-ji.
-[Karina] Oh, that?
-Look here. If what I'm thinking is right,
someone needs to put their hand
in here and search for something.
-[Eun-ji] Hang on.
-[Yong-jin] Right?
-[Eun-ji] No
-No?
[Hye-ri] You can't put your hand in there.
-[John] No, I think he's right.
-Yeah, that's what we gotta do.
-[Eun-ji] Really?
-[Hye-ri] No way.
-[Karina] Want me to try?
-[Hye-ri] Come on, don't.
-[Do-hoon] With your hand?
-[Eun-ji] But you know
-[John] Rock-paper-scissors?
-[comical sting]
Yeah. Great.
-[John] Rock-paper-scissors.
-Democracy.
Wait. What if there's a corpse in there?
Why else would there be maggots?
-You're right. There are maggots.
-Hear me out.
The fact that there are maggots
means something's rotting in there.
Look, I brought it up, so I'll do it.
It was my idea.
-Works for me.
-Sounds good.
Go right ahead, please.
But from now on, this is the rule:
Whoever says, "Oh, this could be it,"
they have to take the risk.
-[all chuckle]
-What?
[Eun-ji] No one's ever gonna point
anything out then.
That's why I'm saying
I'll lead by example.
-[John] Okay, okay, fine, fine.
-I have faith in you.
-[John] Let's go then.
-Why's he taking his jacket off?
I'm gonna have to put
my whole arm in there.
[Do-hoon] What if
What if there's nothing in there?
Well, in that case,
-I'll just feel gross for a few hours.
-For nothing.
[Karina] I can't see anything.
[Eun-ji] Go for it, tough guy.
There might be a message on the inside,
which you can feel with your hands.
Or there could be something
like a piece of paper.
Try the top too, Yong-jin.
Make sure you get every surface,
like when you're doing dishes.
And don't freak out
even if something's moving in there.
-[Yong-jin] Yeah. Just promise me this.
-[John] Okay.
If I really do find
some kind of clue in there,
then
-I get to high-five Rina.
-[all chuckle]
[Eun-ji]
You do realize you can do that now?
-[Yong-jin] No
-I mean, you could just do it now.
No, I want someone to share
the pain with me, you know?
[Hye-ri] Oh, you mean with that hand?
-Exactly, yeah, I'm gonna use this hand.
-[Do-hoon] Oh, okay, gotcha.
-I can take it.
-Why Rina?
[Yong-jin] Is this fake or real,
you think?
-[Eun-ji] I think it's real. They're real.
-[Yong-jin] Real maggots?
-[Eun-ji] They're real, Yong-jin.
-Hey, hey, hey.
-Squishy.
-[Karina groans in disgust]
You gotta really feel around in there.
-Good luck, man.
-[Karina] Oppa, don't scream, okay?
[Eun-ji] Yong-jin,
you look so sexy right now. Seriously.
[Karina] Look at you.
You could totally be my man.
-[Eun-ji] Boyfriend material.
-Jesus, it's really deep.
Hey, the light came on.
Look, the light came on.
-[Eun-ji] Look inside, look.
-[Karina] There's a light.
-[Do-hoon] Oh, really?
-[Yong-jin] You sure?
[suspenseful music playing]
[all exclaim]
-[Karina] Oh, my God.
-[Yong-jin] Oh, look at that.
Must be a sensor.
In that case, shouldn't we use
one of these, instead of your arm?
-[Karina] Oh, that's a great idea.
-[Hye-ri] You're so clever.
-[all chuckle]
-Hold on a second.
Hey, hold on a second.
[laughter]
-What is that?
-[comical music playing]
[Eun-ji] Look at his hand!
Looks like he got poop on it!
-[Karina] Oh, my God, it does.
-Yeah, might as well keep going.
-You already made a mess.
-[Hye-ri] We're onto something here.
Something's in there.
But hang on. We need to
[John] No. It's pointless
to use the stick now.
No, just forget it.
[Do-hoon] Bro, I think it's a bio-sensor,
so your arm has to go
all the way in for it to really work.
[Hye-ri] Come on, keep looking.
Yong-jin, you have to pull this.
There's a piece of string up there.
-[Hye-ri] Come on, Yong-jin.
-[Eun-ji] Just pull the string.
Just do it. There's a string in there,
just pull on it.
-[Yong-jin] That wasn't it. Ugh!
-[laughter]
God! I knew that wasn't it! Gross!
-[Hye-ri] It's not working.
-Yong-jin.
Bro, it really is a bio-sensor.
-I'll just put the handle in.
-Oh, really?
[Do-hoon] Yeah, I think you have to put
your arm in to trigger it. Should I try?
[Yong-jin] Okay, okay,
I'll give it one more go.
-[Hye-ri] All right.
-But my arm's too short to get in there.
[Eun-ji] What should we do then?
Should I try?
I'll give it a go.
[Eun-ji]
Maybe a girl's arm will fit better.
-[Hye-ri] Hang on
-[Yong-jin] What's this up here?
[Hye-ri] What? Can you feel something?
[Yong-jin] I think it's just a hole.
I felt the top, I felt the bottom,
I think I basically touched everything
that could be touched in there.
-[Karina chuckles]
-Man, I can't feel anything!
[John] Shoulda done rock-paper-scissors.
[Yong-jin] There's nothing in there.
-[John] Shoulda done rock-paper-scissors.
-Should I give it a go? Seriously.
[Yong-jin] There's nothing.
There really isn't anything.
No, no, no, hey,
it'll get on your clothes.
[Eun-ji] Hye-ri, let me try.
It doesn't matter
if what I'm wearing gets dirty.
-Oh, it just keeps going.
-[Yong-jin] Exactly.
[Eun-ji]
This is way deeper than I thought.
How far back does it go?
Do you think
we're actually meant to reach in?
All the way?
[Hye-ri] It's so dark.
Can you see anything?
Yeah, maybe it's something
we're supposed to see?
Can anybody think of anything
we could put in there
to make the light stay on?
-[Karina] I'll look around.
-[Yong-jin] Hey, Do-hoon.
-[Do-hoon] Yeah?
-Cut my finger off.
-[Eun-ji] Oh, God, no.
-[Hye-ri] What the
[Yong-jin] That'll make the light stay on.
I'll do it.
[all chuckle]
[John] I can do it.
-I got the perfect tool right here.
-This place is hardcore.
[Do-hoon] Bro, the top, bottom,
and sides are all solid, right?
[Yong-jin] Yeah, it's all solid.
This really is about as deep
as I can reach though,
my hand can't go further.
I felt all over,
but I honestly can't feel
anything in there at all.
[Yong-jin] I was focusing my attention
on my fingers the whole time,
but there was nothing in there.
Nothing that I could feel, anyway.
[Karina] Why is the light coming on?
[Yong-jin] And there's not enough mud
or anything to make it possible
-to bury something in here.
-[Hye-ri] It's too shallow.
-[Yong-jin] No, no way.
-[Eun-ji] What do you think it's for?
[Yong-jin exclaims]
Hey.
[exclaims]
Hey.
-[Karina] Find something?
-There's a switch.
-[Do-hoon] A switch?
-[Yong-jin] Yeah.
-[Karina] Where?
-[Hye-ri] Turn it on.
-[Yong-jin] Yeah.
-[switch clicks]
-[all exclaim]
-[Eun-ji] No way.
SWITCH
-[switch clicks]
-[all exclaim]
-[Eun-ji] No way.
-[Karina] Whoa, I can't believe it.
-[Eun-ji] Yong-jin!
-[Hye-ri] Oppa!
[Karina] Very impressive.
What I had to go through
to find that one little switch.
[Hye-ri] High-five!
-[laughter]
-[Eun-ji] What a relief.
-[Do-hoon] I can't believe you found it.
-[Yong-jin] Yeah, let's go, let's go.
-[John] Should we go in?
-[Hye-ri] I think so
Shh.
[ominous music playing]
[Hye-ri]
I don't think there's anyone here.
Wait. Hold on. Shh, shh.
[whispers]
Hold on.
[ominous music continues]
LAW OF MOLEK
[Hye-ri] Look, the hieroglyphs again.
They were identical to the hieroglyphs
that we saw on the wall in the other room,
so I thought, "This means something.
For sure. 100%. This is significant."
[Hye-ri gasps]
Look at this. Look at this.
-CCTV.
-[Hye-ri] This must be nearby.
-Look.
-They're alive.
-They're alive.
-Survivors.
[Hye-ri] Quick, check the photos.
Let's see.
-It's them.
-[Eun-ji] Who's who?
[John] I can't tell who's who,
but I don't think it matters too much.
Look like they're all in the same room.
-[Eun-ji] Yeah, thank God.
-[John] Yeah.
There's a prayer room.
PRAYER ROOM
[whispers]
Look here. Prayer room.
So scary.
-There's a prayer room over there.
-[Eun-ji] That's strange, right?
But before we move on though,
we should probably try and collect
as many clues from here as we can.
Where are we right now?
[Hye-ri] The prayer room is over there,
so this must be
-the security room.
-[Eun-ji] Security room?
[Hye-ri] Yeah, security,
storage, prayer room.
-[Eun-ji] Yeah, I see. Okay.
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
[John] The floor plan.
I should take photos of this.
FLOOR PLAN
[John] I saw on the floor plan
that the security room
and the storage room
were connected,
followed by the prayer room.
Then after that,
there was this huge space.
I had a feeling that was
where the cult members
we had seen on the CCTV were gathering.
The space where they gathered
and the prayer room
were really only separated
by a single door.
So I figured we shouldn't just
poke around everywhere indiscriminately.
[Karina] Park Oppa.
You know the photo you took earlier,
the writing in blood?
I think we can figure out
what the writing means.
[Eun-ji] They're identical to the symbols
on the wall we saw earlier.
[Karina] Yes, this part here
[Eun-ji] Yeah, they look exactly the same.
So basically, these are their rules,
like their principles.
-[Karina] Here's a pen.
-[Hye-ri] Thanks.
-Actually I'll give you a colored one.
-Should we put it up there? Ah.
LAW OF MOLEK
[John] So this part here
is identical to this part.
-[Karina] Yeah.
-[John] And then this, and this.
[Karina] This one and this one.
[John] The next one looks like this.
[Karina] Where is it?
Where are you? Show yourself.
-[John] I don't see anything else.
-[Karina] Mm.
Hye-ri.
-[Hye-ri] Yeah?
-Do you think we should take these?
[Yong-jin] We probably should.
-[Hye-ri] What are they?
-[Yong-jin] Keys.
-Yeah, keys.
-[Yong-jin] We need them.
[Hye-ri]
It's possible we might need them later.
Eun-ji, see if you can open these.
Some are closed, see if you can open any.
-[Eun-ji] Good idea.
-Yeah.
-[Yong-jin] With the keys.
-[Do-hoon] Wait a sec.
It's clothes.
[Yong-jin] Clothes?
Clothes. From the girls.
You're right, they must be from the girls.
-Oh, no.
-[Yong-jin] From the three of them, yeah.
Yeah, these must be their clothes.
[Eun-ji] They've got to be
from the three missing women.
-There's more here.
-[Yong-jin] You're right.
More clothes here.
-[Yong-jin] Hey, Eun-ji.
-[Eun-ji] Everything here must be theirs.
-This is sick.
-[Do-hoon] What kind of lunatic
Jesus.
[Yong-jin]
Did you open them or were they unlocked?
-They were unlocked.
-[Yong-jin] Really?
I don't think we need these.
[John] I'll check things out in here.
What's this?
[John] There were lots of ingredients
and stuff in the bottles.
Things with really unusual names,
and there were containers
that were completely empty.
-Wait. Hey, John.
-[John] What?
[Do-hoon] Whoa, they're real bugs.
Damn, they're alive.
They're keeping live bugs in here.
-Real bugs?
-[Do-hoon] Yeah, they're real.
Ugh. This is the storage room.
Where we came from is the security room.
Why is there dog food?
Yeah. Why would that be here?
[Hye-ri] Rina.
Oppa, did you find any matching symbols?
-[John] There are some identical ones
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
but the final sentence is gone.
So my assumption is
that this part here means "law."
-[Hye-ri] Yeah. Uh-huh.
-[John] This is "law," then there's this.
And then there's a third segment, but
-[Hye-ri] That one's missing? Ah
-I can't find the third segment.
[Karina] What's this?
These are someone's things.
-[Do-hoon] They're all burnt.
-[Karina] Yeah.
[Do-hoon] These are pants.
[Karina] Oh!
This needs a key.
[Do-hoon] Keys.
Yong-jin, did we find any keys?
[Yong-jin] Yeah.
-Oh, great.
-Sure thing.
[Karina] A wallet
[Do-hoon] I think this needs a small key.
Oh, hold up.
-This one?
-[Karina] Yes.
Oh!
Hey, we found an access card or something,
-in a pile of burnt belongings.
-[John] Oh, you found that?
[Karina] He's a reporter.
It's his badge.
JIN SIL-MAN
JOURNALIS
And this is what we found with it.
[Eun-ji] Maybe someone
Oppa, do you think this is one of those
Like in the movies?
-A fearless journalist operating alone.
-[Karina] Yeah, exactly.
-[Eun-ji] He came here to investigate.
-[Karina] He got caught
[Eun-ji] Yeah, he got caught,
which is how he ended up with the others.
Was there anything else?
-[Karina] No, just these things.
-Another card?
-[Karina] It's gotta be
-[John] We need to unlock the box.
one of these keys.
Wait. Where did Hye-ri and Yong-jin go?
[John] Over there.
-[Karina] Hye-ri.
-[Hye-ri] Yeah?
We found this in some burnt clothes.
[Hye-ri] Okay.
It looks like this guy's a reporter
and he came here and ran into trouble.
We just have his wallet
and some sort of metal box
What was in the box?
We haven't managed to open it yet.
Do-hoon's trying right now.
Hoon, bring that with us.
Let's take it back to the other room.
Keep trying to open it.
-[Karina] It won't open?
-None of them work.
-[Eun-ji] None of them?
-No.
[Eun-ji] Maybe there's no key for it?
-[John] It doesn't open?
-No.
-You tried 'em all?
-I tried 'em all.
-Really?
-Yeah.
[John] Hey, there's something in here.
Yeah, there's something rattling in there.
I tried all the keys on the ring,
but none of them fit in the lock,
so I decided to leave it alone
and look for other stuff for a while.
Did you know
the door to the prayer room is open?
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
-[Yong-jin] Did you go in?
No, I was too scared.
-Should we go look?
-[Yong-jin] Let's do it.
-[Karina] We'll be back.
-[Yong-jin] Let's go.
[inhales nervously]
I should've brought one of the tools.
[Karina] Be careful.
[ominous tense music playing]
Look at this.
Looks like the writing from earlier.
It's similar.
-[Karina] I think it's the same.
-[Yong-jin] Yeah, yeah, right?
Prayer booths.
Hey, look, only one of them is locked.
[Karina] We need to open it.
-Hey, guys, look at this.
-[Eun-ji] Huh?
-[Yong-jin] Come over here.
-[Eun-ji] Here?
There are five prayer booths,
and one's locked. Where are the keys?
Should we take those keys
and try them out there?
-[Yong-jin] Yeah, let's get them.
-Yeah.
[Karina] These are the same symbols
as before, right?
-Yeah.
-[Do-hoon] Yeah. Right.
So this is the lock.
Okay, it'll be a thin key.
-[Do-hoon] I'll start with this one
-[Eun-ji] Yeah. Try them one by one.
-and then work clockwise.
-Try them all.
[Do-hoon] This one's
too thin, no.
[keys jangling]
[metal door lock clicks]
-[metal door lock clicks]
-[suspenseful music playing]
[Eun-ji] Hide!
[John] What's wrong?
[Do-hoon] The cabinets, go!
Rina, over here, hurry!
[whispers]
Yong-jin. Yong-jin! Hye-ri!
[Hye-ri] Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
-[Yong-jin breathes nervously]
-[Hye-ri] Oh, no.
[suspenseful music playing]
[sighs]
At that moment, I could hardly breathe.
[Do-hoon] The cabinet wasn't closed right,
so I was holding it with my hand,
holding tight, like this.
And because I was so nervous,
my hand was like, trembling like this,
and the metal door was shaking,
you know? Oh, my God.
[Hye-ri whispers]
Oppa.
Over there.
Grab a metal pipe.
[eerie music playing]
[suspenseful music playing]
[drawers clanking]
[walkie-talkie beeping]
We need to sweep the premises
for any suspicious individuals.
Check all the exits too.
[man on walkie-talkie] Roger that.
We have a spare set of the master keys,
don't we?
Where are they?
[man on walkie-talkie]
Yes, we have a set here.
I'll bring them over to you.
No, that's okay. I'll come to you.
[door closes]
[Eun-ji] It's closed.
Oppa, it's shut.
[Eun-ji gasps]
Do-hoon.
[comical music playing]
What's Do-hoon doing in there?
-[John] Can't they open it again?
-[Eun-ji] Do-hoon, they're trapped.
[knocking]
-[John] Yong-jin.
-Yeah?
[John] Can you Can you open it again?
[Karina]
Can you reopen it and come back in?
[Hye-ri chuckles]
-Yeah, put your hand in the hole again.
-Again?
-[John] The switch.
-[Karina] The man's gone.
Was it always this deep?
-It's not working?
-Hold on.
[Eun-ji]
You're already a mess anyway, right?
[John] Thank God it's Yong-Jin in there,
you know?
[all chuckle]
I saw the man who came in here,
he was wearing a blue shirt.
A blue plaid shirt and overalls.
And he was very unshaven.
[John] You saw him?
-[Karina] Yes. I was peeking.
-[Eun-ji] It's not this guy?
-Is it this guy?
-[Karina] No, that's not him.
This girl has no fear.
She saw the whole thing, start to finish.
He was younger. He searched all around.
Rina was amazing.
[Eun-ji] She took the initiative
to open the door just a crack,
then she watched him secretly.
She seriously has nerves of steel,
that girl.
And he asked about the spare keys.
We have a spare set of the master keys,
don't we?
-Spare keys.
-[Eun-ji gasps]
-He asked where they were.
-You're right.
-It's gone. Yeah.
-[Hye-ri] It's gone?
-[Yong-jin] Oh, got it.
-[switch clicks]
-Here we go.
-[Hye-ri] Oh, you scared me.
-It's open, look. I got it.
-[Hye-ri] That was close.
[Eun-ji] Did you stick your hand in again?
[Yong-jin] Yeah.
Hey, John, I think we should probably
-open the prayer booth first, don't you?
-Yeah.
We need to open the prayer booth.
-[Eun-ji] Exactly, let's keep trying.
-[Karina] I think so.
[Yong-jin]
There's probably something inside.
-Okay, okay.
-Should we just take the whole pack?
[Yong-jin] No, no, it's fine.
[suspenseful music playing]
-[John] Should we go in?
-Let's go.
I've tried these so far, so
-Is there a way up there?
-Think there's anything upstairs?
[John] There can't be much, right?
I'll just have a quick look.
[Eun-ji] Or should we open this first,
then go up?
-Let's just stick together.
-Okay, okay.
-[Eun-ji] First things first, right?
-[Yong-jin] Okay, let's go up together.
[Hye-ri whispers]
Hey, guys.
[Eun-ji] What?
There are cultists up there.
[ominous sting]
[Yong-jin] Where?
-[Karina] Upstairs?
-[Yong-jin] Up there?
[Hye-ri] They were right by the door.
They're moving.
You saw them?
They're wearing the robes.
-[Yong-jin] You're kidding.
-No.
-Let's go together.
-Shh.
-[Hye-ri] We shouldn't be going up there.
-Yeah, not yet anyway.
-Up there, the cultists were like
-Near the door, right?
Yeah, yeah, they were right there.
They were moving.
Ugh, this is taking years off my life.
[Karina]
Yeah, you were barely managing to breathe.
-[agents gasp]
-Yong-jin!
-Is it open?
-[Eun-ji] Yong-jin, come here.
-[Karina] Oppa, it's open.
-[Eun-ji] Come here, stay near us.
-[Yong-jin] Is it open?
-[Eun-ji] It's too scary.
-[Hye-ri] He got it.
-[Yong-jin] Okay, okay.
-[Karina] I'll hold on to the keys, okay?
-[Do-hoon] Yong-jin.
Careful. Anything could be in here.
[suspenseful music playing]
-[thumps]
-[all scream]
But what's their objective?
[Hye-ri] "The Church of Molek,
a satanic cult
that worships their deity, Molek."
[Eun-ji]
So it's basically a religious cult.
[Do-hoon] "The Gates of Hell will open."
[Hye-ri] "Sorcery is expected"?
So, opening the Gates of Hell
basically means death.
Now we just need to figure out
how to stop them.
We have to save the girls
they're sacrificing
and stop the final ritual.
We only have an hour.
We might actually
have to make a run for it.
[John] We can't get caught.
[suspenseful music playing]
[door rattling]
[cultist 1] Quick, get them!
Come on, hurry. You have to hurry.
Come on, come on.
[cultist 2] Get them! Over there!
Hide, hide, hide.
[cultist 1] Hands up!
[Eun-ji] Look, look!
Hey, what are you doing?
Hey, stop! Wait, oh, no!
-[Yong-jin] Hey.
-[gasps]
[closing theme music playing]
[Hye-ri] Should we huddle up first?
-[Karina] Yeah.
-[Do-hoon] Okay.
-[Hye-ri] "Agents of Mystery, let's go"?
-[Yong-jin] Yeah.
-Hands up? Okay.
-[Yong-jin] Okay.
Agents of Mystery!
-[all] Let's go!
-Let's go, let's go.
[thrilling music playing]
[narrator] Agents of Mystery
is a reality adventure show
where six participants act as agents
for a secret organization
investigating supernatural cases,
all for the purpose of carrying out
their covert missions.
The mysterious cases,
locations, and missions
have all been planned
by the production team.
But the six participants investigating
have no idea
-[Eun-ji] What are you doing?
-what's really in store for them.
-[Hye-ri] This is insane.
-[all screaming]
[Eun-ji] Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
I think the Gates of Hell have opened.
[narrator] For them,
every situation will feel real.
They will investigate
each phenomenon as a team
-as if it were a real-life case.
-We found it!
[gasps]
-[Hye-ri] Oppa!
-[Karina] Oh, man! I'm so impressed.
[narrator]
Watch now to see them in action.
[all] Silleng hiero igbaro.
[Hye-ri exclaims]
[Hye-ri gasps]
What's this?
[Hye-ri gasps]
Wow.
Oh!
HYE-RI
I feel like everything's a clue.
It has to be, you know?
I will apply myself harder.
-Eun-ji.
-What?
[Hye-ri] I got a good night's sleep,
almost 12 hours last night,
so I could do well today.
[all scream]
[exclaims]
HYE-RI: ESCAPE ROOM CONNOISSEUR,
UNLUCKY ACE, ACTRESS
Hello.
Hi, hi.
LEE YONG-JIN
Just just wait.
[soft groan]
Since I brought it up, I'll do it.
I'd like to take on
the role of the tank on the frontline.
And that means
there's an element of sacrifice.
Rina, lead the way.
[all chuckle]
She's the youngest.
Let's go.
LEE YONG-JIN: SELECTIVE FRONTLINER,
INVOLUNTARY LEADER, COMEDIAN
[Yong-jin] Oh. Look who it is.
-[Hye-ri] Hi.
-Hey.
JOHN PARK
I enjoy doing puzzles, you know?
Games like that. I like solving problems.
-Sacrifices.
-Ah.
[Eun-ji] Thank you, John.
I love you, John.
No, hey, team effort.
-So the way this works is
-[Eun-ji and Karina] Yeah.
long, dot, short.
These are the three types.
That's insane.
Can you repeat it? Dots
JOHN PARK: PUZZLE MASTER,
PRO COMPETITION SURVIVOR, SINGER
Why isn't anyone sitting down?
-[Hye-ri] Just me then.
-There's no way I can sit.
-Wow, look at this.
-[Yong-jin] Who on earth could sit now?
I'm jazzed up.
-[Eun-ji] Yong-jin.
-Oh, hi, hi.
-[John] Hey!
-[Eun-ji] Hi, Yong-jin. Hi, everyone.
-[Yong-jin] Come on, come in.
-My oppas.
LEE EUN-JI
Hye-ri, Rina.
[Eun-ji] Rina, you coming?
I kinda wanted to be
like Special Agent Mulder.
Oh! What's this? What is this?
[all screaming]
Hey, I'm soaked through my panties.
LEE EUN-JI: SYMPATHETIC GUARDIAN,
FOX MULDER WANNABE, COMEDIAN
-What is this?
-[Hye-ri] No idea.
This seems weird.
-Hello.
-[Yong-jin] Hi.
-[Yong-jin and Eun-ji] Hello.
-Hi, Rina.
-Hi, guys.
-[Eun-ji] Hi, Rina.
KARINA
[agents screaming]
[agents exclaim]
[Eun-ji]
Rina, you said you weren't scared.
[Karina] Okay. I, I
I'm the youngest, so I hope
I can help the team somehow.
-[John] Is there a pen?
-Here. Here's a pen.
-I brought it.
-[Eun-ji] Ah, good job.
Rina, you are so on the ball, girl.
KARINA: QUICKEST AND YOUNGEST,
SCARES EASILY, SINGER
-[John] Hey, Do-hoon.
-Hello.
-[Yong-jin] Hey!
-[Karina] Hello!
KIM DO-HOON
I couldn't wait for today, could not wait.
[Do-hoon] We have to find something.
What's this?
Huh? What is this? What is that?
What on earth?
What is this?
[Do-hoon] Keep adding more water.
[whispers]
Yong-jin. Yong-jin!
Hye-ri!
KIM DO-HOON: OVERZEALOUS,
INQUISITIVE, ACTOR
-[Hye-ri] Did you get anything?
-[Karina] No, I didn't, nothing.
-[Yong-jin] Is it hidden?
-I didn't get anything.
-[Do-hoon] Could they be hidden?
-You'd better speak up now. Speak up.
I didn't get anything.
-[Yong-jin] Me neither.
-[John] No.
-I got nothing.
-[John] I'm in the dark here.
They didn't tell me anything.
A writer gave me
a piece of candy, that's it.
-[laughter]
-[Do-hoon] What? I got one of those too.
Yeah, so did I. That's all I got.
[Hye-ri] In case our blood sugar drops?
Don't just take it, you could pass out.
[John] I ate mine.
You could end up like this.
Don't trust anyone.
All I have is lipstick
in case my color fades.
Yeah, me too.
-We can share them then.
-Eun-ji, a comb.
Oh, good move, good move.
-You're a well-prepared woman.
-Yeah.
Same with all our cell phones, right?
-Yeah.
-I had to leave mine, yeah.
[Eun-ji]
I was told to hand everything over.
-They took mine.
-[Yong-jin] Yeah, they took it.
-I have mine.
-What?
What are you gonna do, man?
-I shoulda kept quiet.
-You're a spy! We got a spy here.
-No cheating.
-[John] I'll put it out there.
-[Karina] So honest.
-[Eun-ji] You're a spy.
That's why he's got a guilty conscience.
[Do-hoon] I was told there were no spies.
[Yong-jin] What if they let you
keep your phone on purpose, huh?
No, it's better this way.
-Yeah, none of us should have one.
-[TV buzzes]
-[all exclaim]
-[mysterious voice] Welcome.
-Welcome.
-[Karina] Wow.
[suspenseful music playing]
We are a global group of anarchists
known as the X Investigation Network,
or XIN for short.
-[all exclaim]
-XIN
is an organization that covertly solves
a wide range
of mysterious cases and phenomena
occurring all over the world.
[Yong-jin] All right.
[XIN] We now possess an exploratory device
which is capable of detecting
unexplained electromagnetic waves,
known as X-Electric Waves,
which are emitted
from an as-yet-undiscovered substance.
-X-Electric
-Using this device,
we are able to find the exact locations
of these mysterious phenomena.
You have been selected as our agents,
and you will investigate the locations
where we have detected these waves.
Get to the bottom of these cases.
Complete the missions assigned to you.
I will now brief you on the mission
you are required to carry out.
Recently, X-Electric Waves
have been detected at high levels
in the area around Seoul.
And after tracing them,
we discovered they come from a factory
sitting at the outskirts of the city.
The owner of the factory
is named Ko Gui-tae.
He was arrested
as a suspect in a kidnapping,
-So he's a suspect.
-but he was later released
due to insufficient evidence
against him at the time.
The factory in question
is reported to have closed down
and is not currently in use.
However, in the past month,
three separate missing persons reports
have been filed with the local police.
They're all the same age?
Born in 2004?
Based on the fact
that all three missing persons share
the exact same date of birth,
we believe that these three cases
are likely connected to one another.
Oh.
In addition, we assume
that the whereabouts of the women
are connected to this abandoned factory
because it is confirmed
that the cell phone signal
of one of the women was lost there.
There are two parts
to your mission assignment today.
First, investigate the phenomena
taking place within the abandoned factory.
Okay.
Second,
determine whether
the three missing persons are alive
and rescue them.
-Right.
-I hope they're all alive.
In the drawer behind you,
you will find
small two-way radios and a camera.
-Ah.
-These two-way radios are to be used
only in the case of last resort,
in the event of an emergency.
What do they mean, "last resort"?
My palms are sweaty.
[Hye-ri] Do we
Do we each get one?
[Do-hoon] Wait, are we starting right now?
-[Eun-ji] Really? We're going now?
-[Hye-ri] Just like this?
-So the camera's for gathering evidence?
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
"Put the mini walkie-talkie
inside the zippered compartment
and attach it to your ankle
as you would a brace."
[Yong-jin] On your ankle?
[Eun-ji] We wear them.
[XIN]
Before you make your way to the location,
I have one additional
piece of information for you.
We have developed
a one-of-a-kind apparatus
to transport you to the closed-off scene.
-Ooh. Wait. What now?
-And that is
-a Teleportation Chamber.
-[Eun-ji gasps]
Teleportation?
[door rumbles]
[all exclaim in surprise]
-[Eun-ji] Oh, look at that.
-[Do-hoon] Wow.
[Karina] What?
[narrator] The chamber behind you
will enable you to teleport
to any pre-programmed coordinates.
However, a time limit applies
to this teleportation.
[gasps]
After teleportation, the maximum time
you can remain at your location
is six hours.
Six hours?
Five hours after you arrive at the scene,
the chamber will be ready again.
The doors will open and you will be able
to teleport back to this location.
The doors will remain open
for only 60 minutes.
[timer beeping]
After this hour has elapsed,
whether all of you are on board or not,
-the chamber will return to base.
-Oh, so it comes back?
The doors will close with or without you.
-[Yong-jin] So if we don't get on
-They leave us?
If you do not return in the allotted time,
you may suffer dematerialization,
which is fatal.
So we need to be careful.
Please be sure to return to base
within the time limit.
The secrets of our organization
and our agents must not be exposed.
If you are compromised,
XIN will disavow
any and all involvement in this mission.
With that, I wish you all luck.
-Should we take these?
-[Eun-ji] Yeah, take them.
I got big pockets.
-[Hye-ri] Park Oppa, you take the camera.
-I got it.
[Eun-ji] Six? We gotta get out of there
in six hours?
Six hours. The doors open after five hours
and we have an hour
to get back on board and return.
-[Eun-ji] We come back here?
-[Hye-ri] I've never teleported before.
-It's nerve-wracking.
-Totally.
-[Hye-ri] Come on.
-[John] So this is how we teleport, huh?
-[Do-hoon] Yeah.
-Somehow,
-I feel we should press that to start.
-Yeah.
-[Do-hoon] Should I
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
-[Yong-jin] Do-hoon, let's go.
-Right now?
-[Eun-ji] Let's go. Huddle.
-[Yong-jin] Huddle, huddle.
-[John] Team huddle?
-[Yong-jin] One, two, three.
[all] Let's go!
-Should I press it?
-Do it, Do-hoon.
[theme music playing]
AGENTS OF MYSTERY
-Should I press it?
-Do it, Do-hoon.
[all exclaim]
[Hye-ri] This is kinda scary actually.
Oh. I think it's moving!
[Hye-ri gasps]
[all scream]
[Hye-ri] What's happening?
I thought it would be a simulation,
that it would be edited, like,
"Whoa, we're being teleported."
I could barely stand,
I was really surprised, actually.
I was caught off guard
by how turbulent it was, honestly.
Did it feel like going into space?
Somehow, it totally felt like
we were going through
some kind of other dimension
that doesn't exist on Earth.
I had no idea
it was going to move like that.
It was just so realistic. I was convinced.
I could absolutely imagine
that's what it would feel like
to be teleported.
[Eun-ji] Whoa, this is crazy.
[Do-hoon]
So we have to find those three women,
-[Eun-ji] Yeah.
-figure out the intentions of that guy
-[Eun-ji and Yong-jin] Yeah.
-and take pictures of the scene.
Okay?
-Remember, we can't get caught.
-Totally.
We're really somewhere else.
How on earth did they do that?
-[John] Whoa.
-[Yong-jin] Did it actually move?
[Hye-ri] I can't believe it.
-[Karina] I know, right?
-[Yong-jin] It moved? Seriously?
Well, let's go then.
-Whoa.
-[tense sting]
[Do-hoon]
There was blood splattered on the walls,
and there were things that looked
like torture devices lying around.
Looks like a case of foul play.
"Oh, no. We've walked into a room
we're not supposed to be in."
That's how it felt.
There are blood stains. Check it out.
-Whoa, this is insane.
-[Hye-ri] Seriously.
What the
Blood. This is horrible.
I'm not scared of ghosts,
but I am scared of people.
Even when it comes to movies.
I get scared when people hurt each other.
Especially if it's realistic.
And that's exactly how this was.
Someone hurt someone. This is bad.
[whispers]
Shouldn't we Yong-jin, Yong-jin.
[Eun-ji] Shouldn't we be taking photos?
-Like of the blood stains, maybe?
-Good thinking.
-[Karina] Everything.
-Yeah, I got it.
[camera shutter clicks]
[Karina] You're good at taking pictures.
-We should've tested the walkie-talkies.
-[Eun-ji] Oh, yeah.
Should we do it now?
-[Hye-ri] Or let's go in first.
-[Eun-ji] In we go.
[Hye-ri] Guys, I think we should
We should test the walkie-talkies.
-[Eun-ji] Test each one.
-[Karina] While it's still safe.
[doors whirring]
-[Karina] It closed.
-[Hye-ri] We have six hours.
[timer ticking]
-[Eun-ji] The clock started?
-[Hye-ri] Yeah, it has.
Should we test the walkie-talkies
-[Hye-ri] Yeah, yeah, let's do that.
-before we keep going?
How does this work?
If you press this
[Yong-jin] Here. Let me see it.
Right, hello,
this is Eun-ji's walkie-talkie.
[Yong-jin] Yeah. It's working. Try again.
[Hye-ri] Can you hear this?
-[Eun-ji] Oh, it works, it works.
-Okay, we can hear you.
-Press the button to speak.
-Yeah, press, then speak.
-Oh. I hear you, I hear you.
-[Yong-jin] Okay.
[Eun-ji] God, this is spooky.
[Hye-ri] It's so scary, right?
[eerie music playing]
-We're all scared, right?
-[Eun-ji] Yeah.
-I'm freaking out.
-[Eun-ji] Me too.
Rina, lead on.
[all chuckle]
-"Rina, lead on."
-Come on.
Rina, lead on.
-[Eun-ji] Look, Rina
-She's the youngest.
-[Eun-ji] I'm so scared.
-Get a move on.
-[John] There's larvae.
-[Eun-ji] Gross.
[eerie music continues]
Look, look!
Hye-ri, hey! Hye-ri, look over here.
[Hye-ri exclaims]
[Hye-ri] There's something
written on the wall here.
-[Yong-jin] Oh, my God.
-[Eun-ji] What's that?
[Hye-ri] It must be some kind of code,
don't you think?
-[Karina] Should we take a photo?
-[Do-hoon] Yeah, definitely.
-[Hye-ri] Photograph everything.
-[John] Yeah, for sure.
It's not a film camera, is it?
We can take as many photos as we want.
[camera shutter clicks]
[John] This feels like
it has some sort of significance.
[Hye-ri] Wow, is this really
Is this a dead end?
-I think we need to get through here.
-[Hye-ri] What do we do here?
This is nuts.
[Do-hoon] Rina, we have to survive this.
-[Karina] Good luck.
-[Do-hoon] Good luck.
[Karina] Don't abandon us.
[Hye-ri] Hold on.
First off, let's be calm.
How are we supposed to find clues here?
I think everything's a clue.
It has to be, you know?
Careful, Do-hoon.
[tense music playing]
[Do-hoon] Shh.
[Eun-ji whispers]
Hey, guys! Yong-jin.
[Do-hoon whispers]
There are people walking around.
There are people walking around
out there wearing white cloaks.
[Yong-jin] Hang on, let me see.
Let me take a look.
Oh, I see them.
Hey guys, out there, there's like,
a giant hall. It's huge.
They're wearing hooded white robes.
And they're marching around single file.
Don't cry, Oppa.
-[Yong-jin] Go look. See for yourself.
-[Karina] Do I have to?
Wow, I can't believe it.
We really need to keep it down.
I can't believe it.
[Yong-jin] It's unbelievable.
You see?
Look, there they are.
[Hye-ri gasps]
What the hell is this?
[Hye-ri] They're doing something.
Let's get out of here.
Jesus, this is crazy.
[Karina] My heart's pounding.
I feel like my brain's gonna shut down.
[Eun-ji] Hye-ri. Let's talk about this.
Let's figure it out.
-What is going on here?
-[Yong-jin] You know
after everything
that we saw out there and in here,
it looks like
they're abducting people, right?
And torturing them and that kind of stuff.
-Motherless bastards.
-[all chuckle]
-[Eun-ji] Seriously?
-They're the bad guys, right?
They torture people with this stuff.
They do those kinds of things.
Yeah, yeah.
They were walking single file,
offering a sacrifice.
So this guy must be up to something.
-[Eun-ji] Like a cult kind of thing.
-[Yong-jin] Oh, yeah, that's right.
-Something to do with religion
-[Yong-jin] That's a good guess.
If it's a cult, that explains
the hieroglyph things on the wall.
-[Eun-ji] That's why they're there?
-[Yong-jin] Yeah.
It's all starting to make sense to me now.
It's like a language.
Their own secret code.
[Yong-jin] At first,
I thought it could be like a
like a coded message
left by one of the victims,
or to communicate something
to whoever finds it, but then
[Yong-jin] Scissors
-Hye-ri.
-[indistinct chatter]
-[Yong-jin] Are those scissors?
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
[Yong-jin]
I think all these symbols are tools.
-[Hye-ri] Drawings of tools?
-[Yong-jin] Don't they look like tools?
Oppa, are any
of the symbols here repeated?
Yeah, like like this one.
This one is the same as that one.
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
-[Yong-jin] And
-Wait. These These are also the same.
-[Hye-ri] These are the same too.
Or could there be any characters
or something similar written on the tools?
I mean, there could be a code
written on something like this.
Something like these symbols you mean?
Written on stuff?
[Eun-ji] Rina, Hoon, can you look
for symbols like these somewhere else?
[Hye-ri] Or things in, like, these shapes.
[Eun-ji] F8? It wasn't like
the Korean or Latin alphabet.
They were more like hieroglyphs.
-[gasps]
-[Hye-ri] What?
-What is it?
-[Yong-jin] What's up?
[Karina] You scared me.
[Eun-ji] This might be a stretch.
-You wanna connect them?
-[Eun-ji] It might be a stretch,
but don't you think
these look kind of similar?
-[Yong-jin] Yeah.
-[Karina] You might be right.
[Yong-jin] Look at this.
I think this thing here is that. Look.
-You see? Right?
-[Eun-ji] Or not?
[Do-hoon] What about the blood streaks?
The blood, yeah, that could be something.
Do you think we're supposed to pull
the chains to match the blood streaks?
[Do-hoon] One, two, three, four,
five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,
eleven, twelve, thirteen,
fourteen, fifteen, sixteen.
-One, two, three, four
-[Eun-ji] Something about the spaces
is bugging me.
-Why are there only spaces here and here?
-[Yong-jin] Right?
[Hye-ri] Since some of them
Since some of the characters
are duplicates,
I feel like these could be letters, but
-These two are the same, yeah.
-Right.
Would they become letters
if we folded the line onto itself?
Numbers or letters?
That thought crossed my mind,
but there was no pattern.
So, there was just absolutely nothing
to guide us,
it was like flying blind.
-It feels like there's nothing to go on.
-[Hye-ri] I know.
I wonder if we just need to look
a little harder,
so that's what I'm doing now.
We tried a lot of different things
in that room. Everything.
A telescope?
There's nothing. Absolutely nothing.
[Karina sighs]
[ominous music playing]
[Yong-jin] Jesus.
Oh, man, maybe
[Karina] Don't walk around alone.
[Yong-jin] I'm fine.
Rina, come here, look at this. Eun-ji.
-[Karina] Oh, that?
-Look here. If what I'm thinking is right,
someone needs to put their hand
in here and search for something.
-[Eun-ji] Hang on.
-[Yong-jin] Right?
-[Eun-ji] No
-No?
[Hye-ri] You can't put your hand in there.
-[John] No, I think he's right.
-Yeah, that's what we gotta do.
-[Eun-ji] Really?
-[Hye-ri] No way.
-[Karina] Want me to try?
-[Hye-ri] Come on, don't.
-[Do-hoon] With your hand?
-[Eun-ji] But you know
-[John] Rock-paper-scissors?
-[comical sting]
Yeah. Great.
-[John] Rock-paper-scissors.
-Democracy.
Wait. What if there's a corpse in there?
Why else would there be maggots?
-You're right. There are maggots.
-Hear me out.
The fact that there are maggots
means something's rotting in there.
Look, I brought it up, so I'll do it.
It was my idea.
-Works for me.
-Sounds good.
Go right ahead, please.
But from now on, this is the rule:
Whoever says, "Oh, this could be it,"
they have to take the risk.
-[all chuckle]
-What?
[Eun-ji] No one's ever gonna point
anything out then.
That's why I'm saying
I'll lead by example.
-[John] Okay, okay, fine, fine.
-I have faith in you.
-[John] Let's go then.
-Why's he taking his jacket off?
I'm gonna have to put
my whole arm in there.
[Do-hoon] What if
What if there's nothing in there?
Well, in that case,
-I'll just feel gross for a few hours.
-For nothing.
[Karina] I can't see anything.
[Eun-ji] Go for it, tough guy.
There might be a message on the inside,
which you can feel with your hands.
Or there could be something
like a piece of paper.
Try the top too, Yong-jin.
Make sure you get every surface,
like when you're doing dishes.
And don't freak out
even if something's moving in there.
-[Yong-jin] Yeah. Just promise me this.
-[John] Okay.
If I really do find
some kind of clue in there,
then
-I get to high-five Rina.
-[all chuckle]
[Eun-ji]
You do realize you can do that now?
-[Yong-jin] No
-I mean, you could just do it now.
No, I want someone to share
the pain with me, you know?
[Hye-ri] Oh, you mean with that hand?
-Exactly, yeah, I'm gonna use this hand.
-[Do-hoon] Oh, okay, gotcha.
-I can take it.
-Why Rina?
[Yong-jin] Is this fake or real,
you think?
-[Eun-ji] I think it's real. They're real.
-[Yong-jin] Real maggots?
-[Eun-ji] They're real, Yong-jin.
-Hey, hey, hey.
-Squishy.
-[Karina groans in disgust]
You gotta really feel around in there.
-Good luck, man.
-[Karina] Oppa, don't scream, okay?
[Eun-ji] Yong-jin,
you look so sexy right now. Seriously.
[Karina] Look at you.
You could totally be my man.
-[Eun-ji] Boyfriend material.
-Jesus, it's really deep.
Hey, the light came on.
Look, the light came on.
-[Eun-ji] Look inside, look.
-[Karina] There's a light.
-[Do-hoon] Oh, really?
-[Yong-jin] You sure?
[suspenseful music playing]
[all exclaim]
-[Karina] Oh, my God.
-[Yong-jin] Oh, look at that.
Must be a sensor.
In that case, shouldn't we use
one of these, instead of your arm?
-[Karina] Oh, that's a great idea.
-[Hye-ri] You're so clever.
-[all chuckle]
-Hold on a second.
Hey, hold on a second.
[laughter]
-What is that?
-[comical music playing]
[Eun-ji] Look at his hand!
Looks like he got poop on it!
-[Karina] Oh, my God, it does.
-Yeah, might as well keep going.
-You already made a mess.
-[Hye-ri] We're onto something here.
Something's in there.
But hang on. We need to
[John] No. It's pointless
to use the stick now.
No, just forget it.
[Do-hoon] Bro, I think it's a bio-sensor,
so your arm has to go
all the way in for it to really work.
[Hye-ri] Come on, keep looking.
Yong-jin, you have to pull this.
There's a piece of string up there.
-[Hye-ri] Come on, Yong-jin.
-[Eun-ji] Just pull the string.
Just do it. There's a string in there,
just pull on it.
-[Yong-jin] That wasn't it. Ugh!
-[laughter]
God! I knew that wasn't it! Gross!
-[Hye-ri] It's not working.
-Yong-jin.
Bro, it really is a bio-sensor.
-I'll just put the handle in.
-Oh, really?
[Do-hoon] Yeah, I think you have to put
your arm in to trigger it. Should I try?
[Yong-jin] Okay, okay,
I'll give it one more go.
-[Hye-ri] All right.
-But my arm's too short to get in there.
[Eun-ji] What should we do then?
Should I try?
I'll give it a go.
[Eun-ji]
Maybe a girl's arm will fit better.
-[Hye-ri] Hang on
-[Yong-jin] What's this up here?
[Hye-ri] What? Can you feel something?
[Yong-jin] I think it's just a hole.
I felt the top, I felt the bottom,
I think I basically touched everything
that could be touched in there.
-[Karina chuckles]
-Man, I can't feel anything!
[John] Shoulda done rock-paper-scissors.
[Yong-jin] There's nothing in there.
-[John] Shoulda done rock-paper-scissors.
-Should I give it a go? Seriously.
[Yong-jin] There's nothing.
There really isn't anything.
No, no, no, hey,
it'll get on your clothes.
[Eun-ji] Hye-ri, let me try.
It doesn't matter
if what I'm wearing gets dirty.
-Oh, it just keeps going.
-[Yong-jin] Exactly.
[Eun-ji]
This is way deeper than I thought.
How far back does it go?
Do you think
we're actually meant to reach in?
All the way?
[Hye-ri] It's so dark.
Can you see anything?
Yeah, maybe it's something
we're supposed to see?
Can anybody think of anything
we could put in there
to make the light stay on?
-[Karina] I'll look around.
-[Yong-jin] Hey, Do-hoon.
-[Do-hoon] Yeah?
-Cut my finger off.
-[Eun-ji] Oh, God, no.
-[Hye-ri] What the
[Yong-jin] That'll make the light stay on.
I'll do it.
[all chuckle]
[John] I can do it.
-I got the perfect tool right here.
-This place is hardcore.
[Do-hoon] Bro, the top, bottom,
and sides are all solid, right?
[Yong-jin] Yeah, it's all solid.
This really is about as deep
as I can reach though,
my hand can't go further.
I felt all over,
but I honestly can't feel
anything in there at all.
[Yong-jin] I was focusing my attention
on my fingers the whole time,
but there was nothing in there.
Nothing that I could feel, anyway.
[Karina] Why is the light coming on?
[Yong-jin] And there's not enough mud
or anything to make it possible
-to bury something in here.
-[Hye-ri] It's too shallow.
-[Yong-jin] No, no way.
-[Eun-ji] What do you think it's for?
[Yong-jin exclaims]
Hey.
[exclaims]
Hey.
-[Karina] Find something?
-There's a switch.
-[Do-hoon] A switch?
-[Yong-jin] Yeah.
-[Karina] Where?
-[Hye-ri] Turn it on.
-[Yong-jin] Yeah.
-[switch clicks]
-[all exclaim]
-[Eun-ji] No way.
SWITCH
-[switch clicks]
-[all exclaim]
-[Eun-ji] No way.
-[Karina] Whoa, I can't believe it.
-[Eun-ji] Yong-jin!
-[Hye-ri] Oppa!
[Karina] Very impressive.
What I had to go through
to find that one little switch.
[Hye-ri] High-five!
-[laughter]
-[Eun-ji] What a relief.
-[Do-hoon] I can't believe you found it.
-[Yong-jin] Yeah, let's go, let's go.
-[John] Should we go in?
-[Hye-ri] I think so
Shh.
[ominous music playing]
[Hye-ri]
I don't think there's anyone here.
Wait. Hold on. Shh, shh.
[whispers]
Hold on.
[ominous music continues]
LAW OF MOLEK
[Hye-ri] Look, the hieroglyphs again.
They were identical to the hieroglyphs
that we saw on the wall in the other room,
so I thought, "This means something.
For sure. 100%. This is significant."
[Hye-ri gasps]
Look at this. Look at this.
-CCTV.
-[Hye-ri] This must be nearby.
-Look.
-They're alive.
-They're alive.
-Survivors.
[Hye-ri] Quick, check the photos.
Let's see.
-It's them.
-[Eun-ji] Who's who?
[John] I can't tell who's who,
but I don't think it matters too much.
Look like they're all in the same room.
-[Eun-ji] Yeah, thank God.
-[John] Yeah.
There's a prayer room.
PRAYER ROOM
[whispers]
Look here. Prayer room.
So scary.
-There's a prayer room over there.
-[Eun-ji] That's strange, right?
But before we move on though,
we should probably try and collect
as many clues from here as we can.
Where are we right now?
[Hye-ri] The prayer room is over there,
so this must be
-the security room.
-[Eun-ji] Security room?
[Hye-ri] Yeah, security,
storage, prayer room.
-[Eun-ji] Yeah, I see. Okay.
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
[John] The floor plan.
I should take photos of this.
FLOOR PLAN
[John] I saw on the floor plan
that the security room
and the storage room
were connected,
followed by the prayer room.
Then after that,
there was this huge space.
I had a feeling that was
where the cult members
we had seen on the CCTV were gathering.
The space where they gathered
and the prayer room
were really only separated
by a single door.
So I figured we shouldn't just
poke around everywhere indiscriminately.
[Karina] Park Oppa.
You know the photo you took earlier,
the writing in blood?
I think we can figure out
what the writing means.
[Eun-ji] They're identical to the symbols
on the wall we saw earlier.
[Karina] Yes, this part here
[Eun-ji] Yeah, they look exactly the same.
So basically, these are their rules,
like their principles.
-[Karina] Here's a pen.
-[Hye-ri] Thanks.
-Actually I'll give you a colored one.
-Should we put it up there? Ah.
LAW OF MOLEK
[John] So this part here
is identical to this part.
-[Karina] Yeah.
-[John] And then this, and this.
[Karina] This one and this one.
[John] The next one looks like this.
[Karina] Where is it?
Where are you? Show yourself.
-[John] I don't see anything else.
-[Karina] Mm.
Hye-ri.
-[Hye-ri] Yeah?
-Do you think we should take these?
[Yong-jin] We probably should.
-[Hye-ri] What are they?
-[Yong-jin] Keys.
-Yeah, keys.
-[Yong-jin] We need them.
[Hye-ri]
It's possible we might need them later.
Eun-ji, see if you can open these.
Some are closed, see if you can open any.
-[Eun-ji] Good idea.
-Yeah.
-[Yong-jin] With the keys.
-[Do-hoon] Wait a sec.
It's clothes.
[Yong-jin] Clothes?
Clothes. From the girls.
You're right, they must be from the girls.
-Oh, no.
-[Yong-jin] From the three of them, yeah.
Yeah, these must be their clothes.
[Eun-ji] They've got to be
from the three missing women.
-There's more here.
-[Yong-jin] You're right.
More clothes here.
-[Yong-jin] Hey, Eun-ji.
-[Eun-ji] Everything here must be theirs.
-This is sick.
-[Do-hoon] What kind of lunatic
Jesus.
[Yong-jin]
Did you open them or were they unlocked?
-They were unlocked.
-[Yong-jin] Really?
I don't think we need these.
[John] I'll check things out in here.
What's this?
[John] There were lots of ingredients
and stuff in the bottles.
Things with really unusual names,
and there were containers
that were completely empty.
-Wait. Hey, John.
-[John] What?
[Do-hoon] Whoa, they're real bugs.
Damn, they're alive.
They're keeping live bugs in here.
-Real bugs?
-[Do-hoon] Yeah, they're real.
Ugh. This is the storage room.
Where we came from is the security room.
Why is there dog food?
Yeah. Why would that be here?
[Hye-ri] Rina.
Oppa, did you find any matching symbols?
-[John] There are some identical ones
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
but the final sentence is gone.
So my assumption is
that this part here means "law."
-[Hye-ri] Yeah. Uh-huh.
-[John] This is "law," then there's this.
And then there's a third segment, but
-[Hye-ri] That one's missing? Ah
-I can't find the third segment.
[Karina] What's this?
These are someone's things.
-[Do-hoon] They're all burnt.
-[Karina] Yeah.
[Do-hoon] These are pants.
[Karina] Oh!
This needs a key.
[Do-hoon] Keys.
Yong-jin, did we find any keys?
[Yong-jin] Yeah.
-Oh, great.
-Sure thing.
[Karina] A wallet
[Do-hoon] I think this needs a small key.
Oh, hold up.
-This one?
-[Karina] Yes.
Oh!
Hey, we found an access card or something,
-in a pile of burnt belongings.
-[John] Oh, you found that?
[Karina] He's a reporter.
It's his badge.
JIN SIL-MAN
JOURNALIS
And this is what we found with it.
[Eun-ji] Maybe someone
Oppa, do you think this is one of those
Like in the movies?
-A fearless journalist operating alone.
-[Karina] Yeah, exactly.
-[Eun-ji] He came here to investigate.
-[Karina] He got caught
[Eun-ji] Yeah, he got caught,
which is how he ended up with the others.
Was there anything else?
-[Karina] No, just these things.
-Another card?
-[Karina] It's gotta be
-[John] We need to unlock the box.
one of these keys.
Wait. Where did Hye-ri and Yong-jin go?
[John] Over there.
-[Karina] Hye-ri.
-[Hye-ri] Yeah?
We found this in some burnt clothes.
[Hye-ri] Okay.
It looks like this guy's a reporter
and he came here and ran into trouble.
We just have his wallet
and some sort of metal box
What was in the box?
We haven't managed to open it yet.
Do-hoon's trying right now.
Hoon, bring that with us.
Let's take it back to the other room.
Keep trying to open it.
-[Karina] It won't open?
-None of them work.
-[Eun-ji] None of them?
-No.
[Eun-ji] Maybe there's no key for it?
-[John] It doesn't open?
-No.
-You tried 'em all?
-I tried 'em all.
-Really?
-Yeah.
[John] Hey, there's something in here.
Yeah, there's something rattling in there.
I tried all the keys on the ring,
but none of them fit in the lock,
so I decided to leave it alone
and look for other stuff for a while.
Did you know
the door to the prayer room is open?
-[Hye-ri] Yeah.
-[Yong-jin] Did you go in?
No, I was too scared.
-Should we go look?
-[Yong-jin] Let's do it.
-[Karina] We'll be back.
-[Yong-jin] Let's go.
[inhales nervously]
I should've brought one of the tools.
[Karina] Be careful.
[ominous tense music playing]
Look at this.
Looks like the writing from earlier.
It's similar.
-[Karina] I think it's the same.
-[Yong-jin] Yeah, yeah, right?
Prayer booths.
Hey, look, only one of them is locked.
[Karina] We need to open it.
-Hey, guys, look at this.
-[Eun-ji] Huh?
-[Yong-jin] Come over here.
-[Eun-ji] Here?
There are five prayer booths,
and one's locked. Where are the keys?
Should we take those keys
and try them out there?
-[Yong-jin] Yeah, let's get them.
-Yeah.
[Karina] These are the same symbols
as before, right?
-Yeah.
-[Do-hoon] Yeah. Right.
So this is the lock.
Okay, it'll be a thin key.
-[Do-hoon] I'll start with this one
-[Eun-ji] Yeah. Try them one by one.
-and then work clockwise.
-Try them all.
[Do-hoon] This one's
too thin, no.
[keys jangling]
[metal door lock clicks]
-[metal door lock clicks]
-[suspenseful music playing]
[Eun-ji] Hide!
[John] What's wrong?
[Do-hoon] The cabinets, go!
Rina, over here, hurry!
[whispers]
Yong-jin. Yong-jin! Hye-ri!
[Hye-ri] Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
-[Yong-jin breathes nervously]
-[Hye-ri] Oh, no.
[suspenseful music playing]
[sighs]
At that moment, I could hardly breathe.
[Do-hoon] The cabinet wasn't closed right,
so I was holding it with my hand,
holding tight, like this.
And because I was so nervous,
my hand was like, trembling like this,
and the metal door was shaking,
you know? Oh, my God.
[Hye-ri whispers]
Oppa.
Over there.
Grab a metal pipe.
[eerie music playing]
[suspenseful music playing]
[drawers clanking]
[walkie-talkie beeping]
We need to sweep the premises
for any suspicious individuals.
Check all the exits too.
[man on walkie-talkie] Roger that.
We have a spare set of the master keys,
don't we?
Where are they?
[man on walkie-talkie]
Yes, we have a set here.
I'll bring them over to you.
No, that's okay. I'll come to you.
[door closes]
[Eun-ji] It's closed.
Oppa, it's shut.
[Eun-ji gasps]
Do-hoon.
[comical music playing]
What's Do-hoon doing in there?
-[John] Can't they open it again?
-[Eun-ji] Do-hoon, they're trapped.
[knocking]
-[John] Yong-jin.
-Yeah?
[John] Can you Can you open it again?
[Karina]
Can you reopen it and come back in?
[Hye-ri chuckles]
-Yeah, put your hand in the hole again.
-Again?
-[John] The switch.
-[Karina] The man's gone.
Was it always this deep?
-It's not working?
-Hold on.
[Eun-ji]
You're already a mess anyway, right?
[John] Thank God it's Yong-Jin in there,
you know?
[all chuckle]
I saw the man who came in here,
he was wearing a blue shirt.
A blue plaid shirt and overalls.
And he was very unshaven.
[John] You saw him?
-[Karina] Yes. I was peeking.
-[Eun-ji] It's not this guy?
-Is it this guy?
-[Karina] No, that's not him.
This girl has no fear.
She saw the whole thing, start to finish.
He was younger. He searched all around.
Rina was amazing.
[Eun-ji] She took the initiative
to open the door just a crack,
then she watched him secretly.
She seriously has nerves of steel,
that girl.
And he asked about the spare keys.
We have a spare set of the master keys,
don't we?
-Spare keys.
-[Eun-ji gasps]
-He asked where they were.
-You're right.
-It's gone. Yeah.
-[Hye-ri] It's gone?
-[Yong-jin] Oh, got it.
-[switch clicks]
-Here we go.
-[Hye-ri] Oh, you scared me.
-It's open, look. I got it.
-[Hye-ri] That was close.
[Eun-ji] Did you stick your hand in again?
[Yong-jin] Yeah.
Hey, John, I think we should probably
-open the prayer booth first, don't you?
-Yeah.
We need to open the prayer booth.
-[Eun-ji] Exactly, let's keep trying.
-[Karina] I think so.
[Yong-jin]
There's probably something inside.
-Okay, okay.
-Should we just take the whole pack?
[Yong-jin] No, no, it's fine.
[suspenseful music playing]
-[John] Should we go in?
-Let's go.
I've tried these so far, so
-Is there a way up there?
-Think there's anything upstairs?
[John] There can't be much, right?
I'll just have a quick look.
[Eun-ji] Or should we open this first,
then go up?
-Let's just stick together.
-Okay, okay.
-[Eun-ji] First things first, right?
-[Yong-jin] Okay, let's go up together.
[Hye-ri whispers]
Hey, guys.
[Eun-ji] What?
There are cultists up there.
[ominous sting]
[Yong-jin] Where?
-[Karina] Upstairs?
-[Yong-jin] Up there?
[Hye-ri] They were right by the door.
They're moving.
You saw them?
They're wearing the robes.
-[Yong-jin] You're kidding.
-No.
-Let's go together.
-Shh.
-[Hye-ri] We shouldn't be going up there.
-Yeah, not yet anyway.
-Up there, the cultists were like
-Near the door, right?
Yeah, yeah, they were right there.
They were moving.
Ugh, this is taking years off my life.
[Karina]
Yeah, you were barely managing to breathe.
-[agents gasp]
-Yong-jin!
-Is it open?
-[Eun-ji] Yong-jin, come here.
-[Karina] Oppa, it's open.
-[Eun-ji] Come here, stay near us.
-[Yong-jin] Is it open?
-[Eun-ji] It's too scary.
-[Hye-ri] He got it.
-[Yong-jin] Okay, okay.
-[Karina] I'll hold on to the keys, okay?
-[Do-hoon] Yong-jin.
Careful. Anything could be in here.
[suspenseful music playing]
-[thumps]
-[all scream]
But what's their objective?
[Hye-ri] "The Church of Molek,
a satanic cult
that worships their deity, Molek."
[Eun-ji]
So it's basically a religious cult.
[Do-hoon] "The Gates of Hell will open."
[Hye-ri] "Sorcery is expected"?
So, opening the Gates of Hell
basically means death.
Now we just need to figure out
how to stop them.
We have to save the girls
they're sacrificing
and stop the final ritual.
We only have an hour.
We might actually
have to make a run for it.
[John] We can't get caught.
[suspenseful music playing]
[door rattling]
[cultist 1] Quick, get them!
Come on, hurry. You have to hurry.
Come on, come on.
[cultist 2] Get them! Over there!
Hide, hide, hide.
[cultist 1] Hands up!
[Eun-ji] Look, look!
Hey, what are you doing?
Hey, stop! Wait, oh, no!
-[Yong-jin] Hey.
-[gasps]
[closing theme music playing]
