We sell some unbelievable property here.

My name is Mauricio Umansky.
I run The Agency, the best
global real estate company in the world.

may require somebody else to run it.

I haven't. I haven't been here in forever.

to finally sell it.
Milldale is the family house
that we had growing up.
For the past few years, we've actually
been renting the property out.
But recently we decided the best decision
would be to sell the house right now,
because the market is seriously on fire.
There was also a lot of episodes
of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
shot at Milldale,
because my mom is Kyle Richards,
a real housewife of Beverly Hills.
There was also
two other housewives that lived there,
Larsa Pippen and Sutton Stracke.
Those were our tenants.
We do have so many memories
in this house, right?
[Farrah] White Parties,
-birthday parties, holidays.
-[Mauricio] Barbecues.
I remember when Portia got faux married
on the tennis court over there.
-[Farrah] I know!
-She married herself, remember that?
Right. Bossing everybody around.
I love being a father.
One of my favorite things in the world.
Farrah,
I've raised her since she was five.
I don't think
she looks at me as her stepfather,
and I certainly don't look at her
as my stepdaughter.
I think that this property would be
really good for a young family.
For sure.
It needs a thorough cleaning,
a nice paint job.

I was really just bouncing off ideas
for my own sake, but I'll do what I want.
Family businesses
are kinda part of my DNA.
I was born in Mexico City
to a Jewish family.
When I tell people I'm from Mexico
and I'm Jewish, everybody's like, "What?"
"There's Jewish people in Mexico?"
There's very, very few.
I think the community is something like
30,000 people strong.
My family moved to Los Angeles
when I was, uh, just six years old.
My first job was working for my father.
But then a few years later,
right during Christmas,
I was fired from a job I had
in the clothing business.
I literally thought
the world was just gonna end.
And I didn't know
how I was gonna put food on the table.
I was crying, I was bawling,
and Kyle was an extraordinary wife,
and she sat down with me, and she said,
"We're gonna figure something out."
And she said, "Let's go
get our real estate licenses together."
It's been an unbelievable run,
and I decided to start The Agency.
Wasn't Alexia supposed to meet us here?
Like, where is she?
-[both laugh]
-[Farrah] Hmm.
She's your blood, so always at least
a little few minutes late.

But I wanted to make the house
feel like home again,
because I'm sure you guys
walked around a bit.

I grew up there
during my high school/college years.

kind of listing any agent would want.
I mean, it truly is a property
that some billionaire is going to buy.
I have a lot of great buyer connections
who I've met along the years,
travels, South of France to Monaco,
and I'd love to be the one
to sell this house.

In 2011, there was no real estate agency
that had any sort of company culture.
It was an industry that wasn't changing,
and keeping up with the rest of the times,
and the rest of the industry.
And so we started The Agency
with the idea of culture,
of collaboration, uh, fun.
We came up with the number one rule,
which was "no assholes."
We've lived up to that rule still today.
Like, we're a family.
The Agency truly is a family.
What were you doing drinking cabernet
on a beach in Bora Bora?

Everybody comes from a unique background.
We have solo agents like Allie,
and amazing teams like Jon Grauman Group,
and the Ben Belack Team.
And the Umansky Team.
-It's huge!
-And all the limestone and the travertine.
-It's so amazing.

Then we have the youth,
the next generation,
that are trying to make it.
You have Joey, and Sonika,
and Brandon, and Alexia,
that are going to start
trying to take our business away.
All these young people,
they're all coming to get them.
I'm like, "Great, let's go."

to be a small boutique with global reach.
I love the way that we are a family.
Year-to-date, you guys have sold
nearly ten billion dollars
worth of real estate,
bringing in over 200 million dollars
of gross commissions.
And we now have an opportunity,
with this house, selling at $65 million,
to give one of you guys
an additional $1,300,000.

they think it's easy to achieve.
So, it could happen for Joey,
but, like, it could easily not happen.

and it's the biggest listing
that I've brought to the table,
only to find out now that my dad sold it.
But this is just one of those things that,
as the Umansky Team,
that we're struggling with,
and that's communication.
I wish he had thought to tell me that.
I gotta get better at that.
