Obviously, money is a motivator,
But I'm basically just

If you're a painter,

Even if you work in an office,
you use your fingers
to type on the computer.
You have a nurse, you have a gardener,
and I'm a sex worker.
What's negative about it?
Some person, they are not okay with this,
but I understand everybody, no?

that were sitting in front of my house,

what the residents think about
the sex workers here.

about the sex workers that's
I think sex work is work,
and it should be viewed
as just a normal profession.
-It's a very old profession as well.
-Yes.
[Djanlissa] So I think it's proven
time and time again
that if you criminalize it,
it just goes underground.

-But just because it's legal
-doesn't mean it's widely accepted.

There are a lot of
different opinions on sex work.
More conservative view,
people thinking that it's not proper
as women to stand behind a window.
But also,
you have the vast majority, by far,
the more liberal way of thinking.
If it's a freedom of choice,
then please do it,
and do it in a safe way.
Regardless of regulations,
things are always going
to slip through the cracks.
And maybe these women aren't
as safe as they're made out to be.
I think sex work, in a way,
is a little bit, um, exploitative,
and perhaps objectifying women.
Okay, you can hide it away,
but it doesn't help.
If you make it too bad,
you will see that it will be underground.
They're someone's mother.
They're someone's sister.
These are women,
and they're basically
just neighbors for everyone around here.
There's nothing wrong with sex workers,
with the way they do their work.
But we would love to get rid of
human rights violations and misbehavior.
What did you think of
seeing all the sex workers
while you walked through the streets?
Actually, I'm not really used to it.
But we try to accept it as it is
without prejudice.
