Wolf Watch (2014) s01e02 Episode Script
More Bad Than Good
1 What's the best way to follow up a brand-new episode of Teen Wolf? What about a half-hour after show with the hottie twins Max and Charlie Carver? They're here, that's right, abs and all, to talk about the episode you just watched.
It's twice the fun and twice the sexy with these guys, and it starts right now on Wolf Watch.
[Dramatic music.]
[Cheers and applause.]
Welcome to Wolf Watch.
I'm your host, Jill Wagner, who you know as the late, great Kate Argent on Teen Wolf, and I'll be your host for the next 30 minutes as we discuss all of the highlights from this week's amazing episode.
And I've got two very special guests with me tonight.
They're the twins you love to hate and hate to love.
Give it up for Max and Charlie Carver.
[Cheers and applause.]
Okay, well, first of all, it's nice to see you guys on the show, although it seems to be like you're just kicking Scott's ass the whole time.
- Yes.
- Max, what's up with that? I mean, why is Aidan's method of I should call it motivation, why isn't that working? Well, it's that sort of thing, I'm not really appealing to working with Scott, per se.
- Right.
- It's more working at him.
You can't really force anyone to do what you want.
You have to get them to do what you want.
I just I don't think I've learned that one quite yet.
- I'll get there.
I'll get there.
- Uh-huh.
Well, it's got to be fun, Charlie you guys are kicking ass all over the place, and it's got to be more fun to kick ass than to have your backs broken.
Oh, totally.
Totally.
Totally.
Have you guys done that stuff before? 'Cause you make it look really easy.
We beat each other up all the time.
- Yeah.
- We call it practice.
- Nobody's there to film it.
- No.
All right, so three of our characters are having a bit of a rough go in the season.
Scott, he's having problems transforming, and then we've got Stiles who can't seem to read, and then Allison can't shoot.
But now it seems they've gotten all of that back.
They got their mojo back.
Do you think it's just gonna be that easy? I'm gonna go ahead and say they got a little more than their mojo back, and I don't mean that in the best way.
Again, this season's gonna be very interesting.
- It's - It's really dark.
- It's dark.
- Very dark, right? Yeah.
It's psychological, and I think that things are not as they appear and no one knows what's what.
So even though it may appear that they're getting some semblance of being normal again, there's a whole new world.
- It's a setup.
- It's a setup.
It's Teen Wolf.
Obviously it's a setup.
It's such a setup.
Whoa, 180.
[Laughter.]
Okay, guys, so there were some really gruesome moments in the show.
First and foremost, Allison's surgery dream, which thank you I was a part of that nightmare.
How do you guys feel when you watch the show the finished product? Do you kind of cringe a little bit? It blows me away every time we see it.
I mean, you know, you'll spend an hour, two hours on a scene, going through it multiples times, different angles, and you begin to forget that once it's put together into a final piece, not only is it gonna be edited with music, but it's I just it's gonna be so fresh, and they do such a wonderful job.
And you'll see later this season, I mean, there's some stuff that, you know, when we were on set, frankly looked a little ridiculous.
But then you see it in the final cut, and just go, "wow.
" - "That is really scary.
" - Yeah.
- Absolutely.
- Yeah.
Well, I mean, I can tell you that the scene the surgery scene when we had to dig in to Allison, that looked real, and I ain't even kidding.
I was like, "I'm not touching that.
I'm not eating" but I was laughing at some of the scene because I looked like an idiot, but of course, editing made me look evil.
So it worked.
It worked.
Okay, things seem to be progressing between Kira and Scott.
Okay, so how long is it gonna be before things really get good? - I think - You know what I mean.
Yeah, I think this goes back to the earlier issue with performance issues.
[Laughs.]
I think it might take a while to get things up and running.
But, you know.
- But he likes her, right? - Hey, hey, I'm sorry.
You I can't you know, I don't want to spoil anything for you, but it's Oh, you can spoil it.
Now's the time to spoil it.
It's Teen Wolf.
It's melodramatic.
It's romance, blood, gore, sex, violence.
So I think we can expect all of that.
I mean, Kira's kind of the full package.
- That's what you'll see.
- Right.
- I like her.
- Yeah.
Yeah.
And please tell me what the deal is with the fireflies turning into humans in the end.
That, I'm not saying anything about.
You'll have to see what they are, because, you know [Laughs.]
I got to tell you, when I picked up the script for the episode, I was like, "fireflies, really?" That's not very scary.
I love fireflies.
Well, just you wait.
- Just you wait.
- Yeah.
All right, guys, well, being twins, I know that sometimes people have trouble telling you two apart, because I'm I know I'm doing my best not to screw it up right now.
But we want to see if you can always tell each other apart, specifically your chests.
We're going to show you a series of photos of your shirtless torsos thank you, God.
And you have to guess whose body it is.
Do you think you can handle it? - Yeah, we can handle it.
- Let's go.
Let's play.
- All right, let's do this.
- You ready? Okay.
We've got a couple tricks, so, you know.
Okay.
We'll walk you through how to tell us apart.
Perfect.
Take off your shirts.
I'm just kidding.
[Laughter.]
Okay, guys.
Are you ready to play Guess the Chest? That's definitely Ethan over here.
You see that five-pack.
Is that a six-pack? We'll call it a six-pack.
The beautifully shaped torso that is not mine.
Charlie tends to have larger nipples than myself.
I'm just kidding.
[Laughter.]
[Laughs.]
- I love you, bro.
But that's definitely his - I just blushed.
Just wait till we start on yours; Just wait.
I'll give you some real insider tips So what's the answer here? - Charlie.
That's Charlie.
- That's me.
- That's Charlie? - Yeah.
- I know those things.
- That is Charlie.
- That is Charlie.
- He's right.
[Audience cheering.]
[Claps.]
Okay, moving on.
That is Max.
And you want to know how I know that is, if you look really carefully, you think there would be a mole underneath his right nipple, but it's actually a third nipple.
No, that's a tattoo from God, so You have a third nipple? No, I don't have I don't have a third nipple.
Deny it.
Deny it.
I'm telling you.
I'm not denying it.
I just want to clarify.
He's gonna tell you it's a mole or a freckle.
It's a third nipple.
Well He shaved it off once in the shower, so it's really small, but it's got a little head on it.
Let's cut to the next picture.
Let's cut to the next picture.
You started this game, and it's - So - I do not have a third I'm not a James Bond villain.
It's Max.
[Bell dings.]
I don't see a third nipple.
- I'm just saying.
- Yeah.
Moving on.
That is Charlie.
That is me.
That is Charlie.
Okay, moving on to our next chest.
Uh, that's Sharman.
Wow, you knew that way too fast.
[Laughter.]
I'm not gonna ask why you knew that so fast.
And he is right.
That is Daniel.
[Laughter.]
You actually got 'em all right.
- Yeah.
- Good job.
- Yay.
- Actors are vain.
Okay, I think we all need a moment to cool down after that, but when we get back, we'll find out how good these guys are with a bow and arrow.
Oh, no.
And later on, we'll show you an exclusive sneak peek at next week's episode of Teen Wolf, so keep it right here for more Wolf Watch.
[Cheers and applause.]
[Cheers and applause.]
Welcome back to Wolf Watch.
I'm your host, Jill Wagner, and I'm hanging out with the Carver twins, Charlie and Max.
Yay.
And we've been keeping track of certain events that happen a lot on Teen Wolf, and we like to call them our Wolf Stats.
And let's see what we can add from this episode.
So we had our first fight, Scott versus the twins, and two more shirtless torsos with Derek and Peter Thank you.
Plus for our bonus stat, Mr.
Yukimura embarrassed Kira at school once again, so that's up to two.
And sadly, no hookups for tonight.
And we're still waiting on our first death of the season.
But trust me, I know that's coming soon.
All right, so, guys, we've talked a little bit about the show, but I want to talk about you, and I know that you've had some time off between seasons.
So what have you been up to? Well, we thought about opening up a lemonade stand with Daniel.
A shirtless lemonade stand? [Laughter.]
But we went to New York and hung out with family and did a little work there, and then Comic-Con - That was cool.
- Was awesome.
- How was Comic-Con? - It was amazing.
We'd never been before.
We got to meet a bunch of fans.
They were so sweet and generous, and they some of them made gifts, and I don't know.
- Did you get any gifts? - Yeah.
We got these little dolls of each of us.
It was pretty cute.
That had been, like, hand-crocheted.
- Yeah, we met some - Where are they? - Did you put them up - No, we have them.
- I have them on my bookshelf.
- That's awesome.
And then somebody had an Alpha tattoo - Really? A real tattoo? - Both: Yeah.
Of, like, Teen Wolf? - Yeah.
- Yeah.
That's impressive.
We got to get them on the show.
It was pretty badass.
Okay, so at the beginning of the season, you guys were newbies, right? And so we have a newbie now, which is Kira, which is played by Arden Cho.
Yes.
And did you guys have any advice for her as to how to fit in, or did they haze her? Did you guys haze her? You know, I would like to say that there are all these funny stories about how we, like, told her everybody's name and it was wrong and she was just constantly embarrassed, but, no, we were nice, right? Everyone was nice.
It's a nice set.
And I think the main thing is, you know, you get to a new set, and you're like, "oh, my God," blah, blah, blah.
There's a lot of stuff that comes up.
But I think the more we just kind of hung out, talked when we weren't shooting, brought her And she has a little dog, like, this big named Chewy.
Adorable, you know? Which is one of the cutest dogs you've ever seen.
That was smart.
She's just like, "hey, I'm the new girl.
Check out my dog.
" You bring the dog as the icebreaker always.
That or your grandma, right? All right, we touched on this earlier, but Allison was able to regain her skills as a sharpshooter, so now we wanted to see if she was the only one with that talent, so we set up a target with the face of your enemy from last season.
That's right, the Darach.
Oh, may she rest in peace.
But you'll take turns shooting at the target with this foam bow and arrow right here.
Yes.
Here's your weapon.
So who wants to go first? I will do the honors.
All right, Max.
You go first.
Good luck to you.
[Cheers and applause.]
Do you know how to hold it? I know exactly how to hold it.
Shut up.
[Laughs.]
I'm just gonna sit here.
Max is yellow.
It's the color of cowardice.
- [Gasps.]
- Did you know that? - Okay, not too bad.
- Thought that was pretty good.
Yeah.
Annie Oakley right here.
He kept it in the lines.
Right? #Third nipple, bitch.
[Squeals.]
Bam! [Laughter.]
Bull's-eye.
You know, that really wasn't a smart idea considering I have three left at my disposal.
I don't care.
And bull's-eye.
Oh, never mind.
[Audience groans.]
Okay, Charlie, it's your turn.
- After you.
- All right.
- Yeah? - Yeah.
[Laughs.]
Let's go, Katniss.
[Laughter.]
I'll show the Capitol what's up.
What's up, Capitol? - Ooh.
- Oh.
[Applause.]
- Oh! - Oh.
Definitely closer.
I you know, little Robin Hood with well, he likes tights, so that makes sense.
Go for it.
[Audience cheering.]
Okay, touché.
You won.
[Cheers and applause.]
Okay, that was a good effort from both of you, but Charlie was the better shot.
Congratulations, Charlie.
[Cheers and applause.]
All right, now it's time to check in with our Wolf Watch correspondent Mr.
Tyler Posey.
Check this out.
Hello, everybody.
This is Tyler Posey.
And this is Tyler's take, where I get to say whatever I want about whatever I want.
And today we're gonna talk about skateboarding.
Damn it! I started skateboarding when I was 11 years old.
I ollied up my first curb when I was 11 years old.
My favorite skateboarder was Rodney Mullen.
I landed two 360 flips in my entire life, which is hard for me.
That's what I'm talking about.
I have scars all over my hands from skateboarding.
Then I stopped skating when I started getting girlfriends and I didn't want to be sweaty anymore.
[Laughs.]
When I was a little kid, I used to skate to my elementary school and listen to everybody skateboard, 'cause I loved the sound of the ollies and, like, the wheels spinning like [Makes whooshing sounds.]
I've always wanted to build a skate park in my backyard, kind of like Tony Hawk, only cooler.
Just joking.
Tony Hawk is the man.
That was Tyler's take.
Oh, we love Tyler Posey.
All right, we have to take another short break, but coming up, these guys will do some role-playing.
Not the kind that you think.
And you won't want to miss the sneak peek of next week's episode of Teen Wolf presented by AT&T.
We'll be right back, people.
[Cheers and applause.]
[Cheers and applause.]
All right, we're back with Wolf Watch.
I'm Jill Wagner, joined by Max and Charlie Carver, who are ready to play another game called Beacon Hills Celebrity.
Okay, Max, you'll start by holding up a picture of a character from Teen Wolf to your forehead so that Charlie can see it but you can't.
And then you're gonna ask him a series of "yes" or "no" questions until you can correctly guess who you're holding.
Then we'll switch so that Charlie can play.
Okay? Are you ready? - Got it.
- Two for two.
All right, Max, start us off.
Do I have a third nipple? No? No.
[Laughs.]
- Am I man? - Yes.
- Yes.
- Am I a werewolf? - No.
- No.
Am I goofy and adorable but also deeply harmed? Huh.
- Maybe? - Yeah.
- Yeah? - Yeah.
Yeah? Do I recklessly make out with Ethan? [Laughter.]
- I believe so.
- Yes.
- Yes? - Yes.
- I'm Danny.
- Yes.
- Yay! - Yes.
[Applause.]
[Bell dings.]
Oh, karma's a bitch.
Go ahead.
- Mm.
- Mm.
Mm.
Do I have a third nipple? [Laughter.]
I love that line of questioning.
Uh, no.
- No? - No.
Am I a girl? - No.
- No.
I love how you looked at me for that answer.
[Laughter.]
Not sure on that one.
- Am I a werewolf? - Both: Yes.
Do I have facial hair? Depending on when you're a werewolf.
Yes, exactly.
- That is a good answer.
- Right? Do I try and mask my English accent? - Yes.
- I'm Sharman.
You're Sharman, yeah.
[Bell dings.]
[Cheers and applause.]
So Daniel ties it.
Am I a lady? Yes.
Do I scream a lot? When? [Laughter.]
That would be a yes, I believe is what he meant to say.
- Yes.
- Do I have flowing red locks? - Both: Yes.
- I'm Lydia.
- Holland, yes.
- I'm Holland? Got it.
[Bell dings.]
[Applause.]
- Mm.
- Am I a grown-up? - Yes.
- Yes.
- Am I a woman? - No.
- No.
- Do I have children? - Not that we know of.
- Not that we know of.
Do I work with animals? - Yes.
- Yes.
Ah, I'm Deaton.
- Yes.
- That was easy.
[Cheers and applause.]
Yes.
Congratulations, guys.
I call it a tie.
It's a tie.
So guess what.
I have a mug, and yes, I have made T-shirts.
- [Gasps.]
- Look at this.
It's beautiful.
It's one of a kind.
Oh, my goodness.
You can - thank you so much.
- Look at this.
Here.
- Thank you.
- Do you want the tank top? - Share.
Share.
- I get the mug.
Thank you.
We'll share 'em together.
- Congratulations, guys.
- Thank you.
We have to take one last break, but coming up, we'll spend time with our Alpha of the week, plus you'll get a taste of next week's episode of Teen Wolf, so stick around.
[Applause.]
[Cheers and applause.]
Welcome back to Wolf Watch.
I'm still here with Charlie and Max Carver.
And because Teen Wolf fans love the show so much, we wanted to return the favor and love them right back.
So we're choosing some die-hard fans as our Alphas of the Week.
And this week's Alpha is Cassie from Florida.
And Cassie runs a tumblr devoted to Scott McCall, and she's joining us via video chat.
Welcome to Wolf Watch, Cassie.
What's up, Cassie? Hi.
I'm so glad to be here.
Oh, my gosh.
- Well, we're glad to have you.
- Thank you for coming.
Cassie, tell me why you're such a big fan of Teen Wolf.
Well, I really like that it is a, like, half-and-half combo of horror and comedy, which is really hard to do, and you guys pull it off really well.
- So mad props.
- Nice.
Nice.
Now, what is it about Scott that inspired you to create your tumblr? Everything? [Laughter.]
I think he has a really good heart.
I think he inspires people to be better people just by being who he is, which is really awesome.
- I agree.
- Basically, sunshine.
That's why I have a tumblr about Scott McCall, 'cause he's sunshine.
Aww.
I will call him that from now on.
- Yeah.
- He's got a new nickname.
- I'm in.
- Thank you for that.
I second that.
Since I've got Max and Charlie here with me, is there anything you'd like to ask them or say to them? Yeah, I just wanted to know what it was like coming into Teen Wolf, you know, in season three as essentially the bad guys for the first half of the season and then, you know, making that slow transition over to Scott's side because of Lydia and Danny and then, you know, where you want your characters to go from here, personally, at this point.
What I think is so great is, we left 3A, and everybody was like, "well, wow, that's a really great ending.
" Like, here are Danny and Ethan holding hands and Aidan and Lydia making weird faces It's not that simple.
Like, how is it that, like what about killing Boyd and being part of the Alpha pack and of that stuff? Our characters really have to find a way to redeem themselves, and that's our journey this season.
Yeah, you can't forget the past.
I think the main thing in terms of coming in as a bad guy is, we never saw it that way.
We come out of the world's worst circumstances, and we're doing what we think is right by our leader, Deucalion.
And I think, towards the end, we realized that there are maybe these other people who can offer love and support in a way that we actually need.
So I think that's what you start to see across of all season three.
All right, well, thank you so much, Cassie.
Congrats for being our Alpha of the week.
And before we wrap things up, it's time for our exclusive sneak peek at next week's episode, so pay attention, 'cause here it comes.
Next on Teen Wolf Kira.
Do you like her? - No.
- I don't want to date.
- I invited a guest.
- [Doorbell rings.]
- Hey.
- Oh, God.
The shrapnel bomber? Four students dead and a fifth with no legs.
[Groans.]
[Electricity crackling.]
[Shrieks.]
[Cheers and applause.]
- That looked pretty intense.
- Yeah.
I might need to change my pants.
[Laughter.]
I hope not.
I got to get a new sofa.
All right, well, that did it looked amazing, so we know there's a new villain in next week's episode.
And without giving away too much, what can you guys tell me about it? Next week, I think remember those fireflies we had talked about? I think we start to get an idea of what those fireflies are all about.
And we learn a lot more about who Kira is and maybe what she can do.
Nice.
Oh, guys, you know I could talk to you all night, but I'm running out of time.
- Aw.
- Aw, okay.
If you want more, you can head to the after-after show right now on MTV.
com and also on the MTV app.
Max and Charlie, thank you so much for being here.
- We really, really appreciate it.
- Thank you.
Everyone at home, tune in to the brand-new episode of Teen Wolf next Monday, 10:00 P.
M.
, followed by Wolf Watch, where I'll be joined by Holland Roden plus Molly Tarlov from Awkward and also Nicole Byer from Girl Code.
That's right, it's ladies' night.
Until then, I'm Jill Wagner telling you to watch your back 'cause you never know what creatures are lurking out there in the dark.
[Laughs wickedly.]
It's twice the fun and twice the sexy with these guys, and it starts right now on Wolf Watch.
[Dramatic music.]
[Cheers and applause.]
