The next chapter of our love story
is about the road to romance.
Because just like in love,
in Fairhope, every path is
either a magical journey,
or leads to a dead end.
Take Mya Jo for example.
When Mya Jo was in middle school,
she and Nick discovered a shortcut,
a road that led from her house to his.
Better believe I'll be ready ♪
It's a straight road they've been
down a thousand times before.
But this summer,
this path has a whole new twist.

[Nick exhales sharply]
- What's up, dude?
NICK: What's up?
- What's happenin'?
NICK: Did you just run down here?
- I did.
- For real?
- Yeah, I just did
a Zumba hip-hop class
and wanted to finish off
with some cardio.
- Oh, my gosh.
So, uh, what'd you think about last night,
the bonfire and everything?
- I think it was fun It was fun.
- Yeah, I think it was a, a good time.

It was just a little bit odd.
[grunts]
I don't know.
[grunts]
- What was?
- I just didn't know that
you and Kirk were, like,
in a relationship at one point.
- Yeah.

- I don't know what I was doin'.
Like, was I travelin' or?

- I noticed it last night,
so I was, like, you know?
KAI:
Look who's back for the summer.

been seeing each other
for about three months.
In a normal relationship,
this would be the time
when you start talking about commitment.
In a Trevor relationship, however,

He says he wants to hang out.

I don't know, it's tough
because I feel like we've,
kind of, [sighs]
made some strides in our friendship,
and I don't wanna, like, blow him off.
