Looks like the alarm is coming
from the City Aquarium!

I just visited
the City Aquarium
to see their new exhibit,
a family of rare
Purple‐Striped Octopuses!
Squishy, the baby,
is my favorite.
[Spin]
Why bother an octopus?
They're slimy
and kind of scary looking,
with lots of tentacles!
They may look strange to you,
but they're really cool,
and smart.
[Spidey]
Maybe the alarm went off
because the octopuses
are in danger!
We'd better go see.
[Doc Ock humming happily]
Come to me, precious.
Come to Doc Ock!
[evil chuckle]
[evil laughter]
‐[Spidey] Doc Ock!
‐Huh?
We should have known
it was you causing trouble
at the new octopus exhibit.
Well, that's very clever
of you spiders,
but you're too late.
‐Get your tentacles
off that baby octopus!

while we were rescuing the fish,
and she took the baby octopus!
Her name is Squishy.

We'll save your baby girl.

We need to get to WEB‐Quarters
and find out where Doc Ock
took Squishy.

Once you get
some of my Gigantopus Serum,
you'll grow and grow,
and when you're
a giant octopus,
you'll look so scary,
no one will get in my way
anymore.
Especially those pesky spiders!
Then I can take over the city!

We just need to keep looking.
The security cameras show
Doc Ock left the aquarium
with Squishy,
and is headed towards the ocean.
But why?
[alert blares] Webs up!
Spidey alert!
Hey, Peter, it looks like
the cameras
are showing something really big
under the water
over here!
Huh.
I'm not sure, Miles.
Maybe if we zoom in?
I can't see what that shape
under the water is.
[gasping] But that's Doc Ock
and her Mobile Lab
near the pier!
[evil laughter]
We have to get to Doc Ock
so we can rescue Squishy
and get her back to her parents.
Come on!
It's Spidey‐Time!
Go, webs, go!
[powering up]
Hop on my Ghost‐copter!
We have a baby octopus to save!

Okay, Spidey and Spin.
Approaching the pier
and Doc Ock.
We're coming for you, Squishy!

You can't handle
the Spidey Team!
But can you handle the might
of Gigantopus Squishy?

Now Squishy is big enough
to capture the whole Spidey

We have to stop Squishy.
She can accidentally crush
everything in her path!

She might be a giant octopus
with giant slimy tentacles,
but we can handle this.
But first,
let me web‐up Doc Ock!
[grunting]

[chuckling wickedly]

one of my tentacles.
My giant octopus distraction
is going perfectly to plan!

Now no one can keep me
from taking over the city,
and she's not even done
growing yet.
‐She's already too big to stop!
We need a plan.
The best way to tackle
a problem like this
A giant octopus problem!
is to break down a plan
into parts.
So we each need to do something
to stop Doc Ock.
Well, I know
a lot about octopuses.
They're curious and playful,
so maybe I can try
to keep Squishy busy
so she doesn't go into the city
and squash everything.
Good thinking, Ghost‐Spider.
Then I can distract Doc Ock.
Great, Spin!
That'll give me time
to figure out
how to make a serum
to shrink Squishy
back to normal size
so we can bring her home
to her parents.
Sounds like a plan to me!
Let's save Squishy.
Magnificent.
[chuckling wickedly]
My giant octopus
is about to help me
take over the city.
