Tarzan and Jane (2017) s01e04 Episode Script

Dangerous Rescue

[yelling.]
[theme music playing.]
[grunts.]
[chuckles.]
- [growls.]
- [gasps.]
- [snarls.]
- Relax, Mother Panther.
- You're safe for now.
- [purrs.]
You think the smugglers will come after them? They might.
These panthers are worth a lot of money to them.
[engine revving.]
[tires screeching.]
Maybe we should have told the police we were taking the panthers with us? The police won't be able to take care of them like we can.
Let's get them home and figure out a plan to get them back to Africa.
I think we may have some unwelcome company.
So hold on to those cats.
[tires screeching.]
[tires screeching.]
[tires screeching.]
Okay.
I think we lost them.
[Charlie gasps.]
Whoa! [guns cocking.]
[grunts.]
Give me those cats! Cats? What cats? - [heavy thud.]
- [growling.]
[grunting.]
- Huh? - [Tarzan.]
Up here.
[mercenary grunts.]
[Mother Panther growls.]
That's it.
Just a little closer [gasps.]
Hands up.
Don't move! [both grunting.]
Now I got ya.
[grunting.]
[mercenary groaning.]
[growling.]
- [mercenaries grunting.]
- You wait till we get out of here! Let us out of here.
Stop it.
[mercenaries yelling indistinctly.]
[chuckles.]
Now that's something shoes are good for! - [muffled grunting.]
- I've called the police.
Don't worry.
You won't be in there very long.
If you don't want these kitty cats ending up as evidence, we should probably get out of here now.
You take the panthers and get out of here.
I'll make sure the police get these guys.
Let's get these cats out of here.
So, Veronica's brother-in-law, plus the two smugglers at the party.
And now those guys in the sedan.
Yeah.
How did they know we'd have the panthers? - Someone is obviously on to us.
- [Tarzan sighs.]
This seems like a big operation.
We need to find the mastermind! Thanks for a one-of-a-kind evening.
You like her, huh? Yeah, she's all right.
[Mother Panther growls.]
[softly.]
Come on.
I'll find you something tasty to eat.
- [barking.]
- Digs! Shh.
Quiet, boy.
[whimpering.]
- [panthers growling.]
- [Tarzan grunts.]
It's okay, Digsby.
These panthers are friends.
[growls softly.]
- [panthers growling softly.]
- [Digsby snarls and barks.]
- [chuckles.]
- [Mother Panther growls softly.]
All right.
All right.
Food's coming! [Mother Panther growls.]
[birds chirping.]
[yawns.]
[Tarzan snores softly.]
[door creaking.]
[music playing on TV.]
[female news anchor.]
Breaking news.
Dangerous African panthers are loose in London.
[panthers growling.]
Huh? [growling.]
[yelling.]
[grunts.]
[Digsby panting.]
[yawns.]
Good morning, little ones.
[gasps.]
Huh? [gasps.]
Oh, no! There you are! - [clattering.]
- Help! - Grandfather? - Tarzan! Tarzan! In here! [door opens.]
Friend of yours, I presume? [laughs.]
Uh, sorry about that.
[growls.]
It's okay.
Come say hello.
- Good kitty.
- [door opens.]
Hide the cats! What? Why? Some agents from the International Crime Bureau came to see me at the loft this morning.
They're talking to everybody on the guest list.
They'll probably come here next.
Will someone please tell me what happened last night and why there are wild animals in my kitchen? [chomping.]
These panthers were being sold by animal smugglers.
We had to save them.
Well, I'm sure the ICB will keep them safe.
Safe? They'll be locked in cages! These panthers need to be back home in Africa, where they belong.
[door opens.]
[stammering.]
Excuse me, your Lordship, but there's a pair of ICB agents here to see Tarzan.
[ICB agent.]
Good morning! May we come in? We have a few questions about what happened at Veronica Smythefield's party last night.
Jane said you left the party early.
Did you see anything out of the ordinary as you were leaving? Yes, we saw three panthers in cages in the back of two vans.
But there were no panthers in the vans when the police arrived.
Do you know what happened to the panther and her cubs? We took them with us.
And where are they now? - [clattering.]
- [gasps.]
- [Digsby barking.]
- [panthers growling.]
I can't allow you to take them! They're safer here than in quarantine.
But we can't allow you to hide evidence! Evidence? It's not as though the panthers can tell you who stole them.
Let us get the panthers back to Africa while you deal with the criminals.
[sighs.]
They're so cute, you can almost understand why people want these little fur balls as pets.
- They're not pets.
- We agree with you.
Animals born in the wild are meant to live in the wild.
I'm glad to hear that.
But the panthers can't stay here.
There are rules.
My nephew, Clayton, flies down to Africa frequently with the Greystoke Relief Fund.
The panthers could fly down with him.
They could be back in their habitat within a week.
This is highly irregular, but it might be for the best.
These three will get to go home, and we can focus on the other animals that are still unaccounted for.
Others? Here in London? Hopefully, they're still here.
We've been following leads on dozens of black market exotic animals.
With the capture of the smugglers last night, we may be getting closer.
If you hear of anything, please get in touch.
There are animals out there that need our help.
Where do we start looking? Er, maybe we'll find a clue at the Smythefield estate.
Sounds like a good place to start.
- [door unlocks.]
- [Veronica.]
Oh! Tarzan! What a lovely surprise! And you brought your friend June? [chuckles.]
Jane.
We wanted to stop by and thank you again for last night's party.
Yes, thank you.
[chuckles.]
I was having such a good time, I lost track of my bag.
Have you seen it? No, but feel free to look 'round.
Uh, it's a shame that your fountain was damaged.
Oh, don't worry, darling.
It was absolutely worth it.
Great footage for my reality show.
So dramatic! The camera crew got it all on tape.
- Would you like to see it? - Absolutely.
[screaming on laptop.]
And that's when we heard the crash and everyone ran outside.
It was so exciting! Oh, that's when Jeremy left.
I wondered where he'd disappeared to.
- Jeremy's the man with the beard? - Yes.
He's a very nice man, but so hard to keep track of.
He owns an aircraft cargo service, and is always flying about.
Hmm.
Interesting.
[chuckles.]
Found it.
We should be going.
Thank you for a lovely visit, Ms.
Smythefield.
Please come back and see me again soon.
- Uh, uh.
.
- [both.]
Mmm [Tarzan chuckles nervously.]
So Veronica's friend Jeremy owns an aircraft cargo service.
And I think I know which one.
[Jane.]
We need to stay out of the line of sight of those cameras.
Got it.
[grunts.]
[Jane grunts.]
[Tarzan grunts.]
[both sigh.]
[Jane sighs.]
The place looks empty.
[whispers.]
More cameras.
[growling in the distance.]
[Tarzan.]
Did you hear that? [sniffing.]
The animals are somewhere close.
I can smell them.
They're in there.
We have to get in there.
[grunting.]
Where did you get that? Your girlfriend's place.
[gorilla groaning.]
[growls softly.]
We have to get them out of here.
I'll call the ICB and fill them in.
You stay here.
- I will.
- Don't get caught.
I won't.
Huh? - [phone beeps.]
- [panting.]
[grunting.]
Jeremy's hangar is filled with stolen animals.
You have to arrest him.
We can probably get a court order to seize the animals, but we can't arrest Jeremy without proof that he's the one who smuggled them into the country.
Isn't the fact that they're on his property proof enough? It would be a much stronger case if we could catch Jeremy in the act of either selling or transporting the stolen animals.
[grunts.]
Well, the best way to catch a rat is to offer him a tasty chunk of cheese, and I know just the lure we need.
So the ICB let you use Lord Greystoke as bait? Let me see if I understand this correctly.
You want to use my good name and my money for this con job? It's perfect.
Let's nab these criminals.
Jeremy, I hear you're the man to talk to about buying exotic pets.
I want all the animals you have.
Name your price.
Well, your Lordship, I appreciate your offer, but I don't need your money.
Looks like I have something more valuable.
What do you mean more valuable? [gasps.]
He must mean Tarzan.
Do you have Tarzan? Not yet.
[laughs maniacally.]
We have to get to the hangar as fast as possible.
We can take the helicopter.
Are you sure you know what you're doing? [chuckles.]
Relax, I've done this before.
[chuckles.]
You're full of surprises.
[Jane chuckles.]
So I'm told.
Huh? Whoa! [grunting.]
[grunts.]
Huh? Whoa! We got him, boss.
Perfect.
He's worth more than all those other animals combined.
[helicopter blades whirring.]
Tarzan! I'll call the ICB! Look at that.
I even get my panthers back.
[grunts.]
[growls.]
Look out! - [cage door slams.]
- [grunts.]
- I've got the panther.
- [gun cocking.]
- [Jane growls.]
- [gasps.]
[coughing.]
- [Tarzan grunts.]
- [groans.]
Whoa! - [gun cocking.]
- [gasps.]
[Tarzan grunts.]
[groans.]
[both grunting.]
[grunts.]
[yelps.]
[whimpers.]
[grunts.]
- Whoa! - [thudding.]
[all groaning.]
[chuckles.]
[gasps.]
[whimpering.]
Now you know what it feels like to be captured.
[rhino grunting.]
- [baby chimp chuffs.]
- [chuffing.]
- Hello, little brother.
- [chuffing.]
[laughs.]
- Where were you heading? - Private island.
Some rich guy wanted his own personal zoo.
Change of plans.
Punch it in, and let's get these animals home.
- [growling.]
- [gasps.]
What about her? The panther? She definitely wants to go home.
[tires screeching.]
[brakes squeal.]
[Lord Greystoke.]
Jane called.
Tarzan and the animals are all safe.
[mercenaries yelling.]
Looks like all that's left for us to do is the paperwork.
[groans.]
I hate paperwork.
[animals chittering.]
You're home now.
What about this little guy? Usually, when a baby gorilla is taken from its mother, it means Oh, no.
You mean [sighs.]
How awful.
[Mother Panther growls.]
- You're safe now.
- [purrs.]
[chuckles.]
You're welcome, little one.
[growls approvingly.]
Saving these beautiful creatures is the most incredible thing I've ever done.
We make a good team, don't we? - Tarzan happy with Jane.
- [chuckles.]
[chirping.]
[chittering.]
[honking.]
Go ahead.
We'll catch up with you.
I remember the way.
[yelling.]
[Kala chuffing.]
- Kala! - [chuffing.]
- I've missed you, too, Mother.
- [breathing heavily.]
[chuffing.]
[laughs.]
[sighs.]
[Jane sighs.]
Hello, Kala.
[chuffs.]
It's all right, little one.
[chuffs.]
Does it feel good to be home? Yes and no.
This jungle is my home.
But now England is my home, too.
[sighs.]
I know how you feel.
But you can't be sad about what you're missing or you'll miss out on what you already have.
[chimpanzees chuffing.]
Jane right.
Tarzan happy.
[chuckles.]
Try to keep up, ape boy! [upbeat music playing.]
