You work so hard,

But I'm sorry.
I know that that's torture for you.
I know it is.
We just cannot make a decision,

You guys, here are the facts.
In all of our previous eliminations,

Kerby, Alexa, Jason and myself,
we were completely split.
And so, with so much at stake,
there's only really one thing
that can happen here.
We start over.
- [gasping]
- Oh, my God.
[Alexa] Nobody goes anywhere.
You're all safe and moving forward
in this competition.

I definitely feel good to be still here.
We've got a lot to show,
we've got a lot to prove.
- I'm just ready to kick some ass.
- Major ass.
I think it's BS.

Farai and Kiki have been

What is the point of keeping people in

Your next challenge is all about
underwear.
- Whoo!
- [laughing]
Carli, you look like I've left a turd
on your doorstep.
[laughing]
Are you excited?
Sure, I'll give it a shot.
I don't have any experience at all
with underwear.
Underwear is difficult to create
for women in general
because we've got
very different shaped bodies.
So, it's terrifying.
What started out as a bloody fig leaf
is now an entire market
that's sold across the globe.
From Calvin Klein to Versace,
it's a multi-billion dollar industry,
and so we're really excited to see
what your creative minds come up with.
Marco, how has underwear been important
in your design journey?
Well, I run an underwear line,
and I make a lot of slutty clothes.
[laughing]

Show me what you got now ♪
[Marco] My underwear brand, Marco Marco,
we're known for over-the-top,
brightly colored,
out-of-the-box kind of designs.
We design just, like,
unabashed queer product.
It became the thing that inspires me.
I feel like I have a purpose outside
of the clothing,
which is bringing together my community.
I'm an outsider creating stuff
for other outsiders.
We want to see lingerie.
We're talking sexy,
- fully conceptualized designs.
- Yeah.
[Alexa] A matching bra and underwear set
isn't gonna be enough.
Neither is a pair of simple boxer shorts.
[Charles] Hmm.
We will be asking you to make two looks.
One male model and one female model.
And you can dress them however you want.
Ooh!
[sighs]
Joining us on the runway will be
our guest judge for this challenge.
Oh, it's a good one.
Tomorrow, we'll be welcoming
one of the most recognizable supermodels
in the world
the runway icon
Adriana Lima.
[wolf whistles]
- I love it.
- Yes.
[Minju] Oh!
[Alexa] She was a Victoria's Secret angel
for almost 20 years.
She definitely knows a thing
or two about lingerie.
[laughing]
If you look up "sexy" in a dictionary,
you'll definitely find "Adriana Lima"
in the description.
The cut, fit and fabric here
is just as important as it is on a gown.
And once again,
the closet is fully stocked.

Oh, my God, this is amazing.
We are hoping to get

and this girl is fire.
- Okay, here we are.

- The challenge this time is lingerie.
- Mm-hmm.
We've asked them

[Tan]
And that includes an extended-size model.
- Is this her?
- She is the extended model.
[Tan] I want our designers
to understand that it doesn't matter
what size a model is,
fit really is important.
In my previous collections,
I've done a lot of silk pajama shirts,
and I actually think it could be nice
to do it for the woman.
Absolutely not.
Not on an extended size lady.
- Do you not think?
- Nope.
So, we could do a really dramatic sleeve,
- and let the sleeve--
- I don't wanna do a sleeve.
I'm open to shape.

I am a bit irritated
by there still being too many teams,

um why?
- I feel like you could stab me. [laughs]
- I could stab anybody in this room.
I wanna do shorts on her, like,
inspired by what boxers wear.
Mixed with a little Japanese.
What are you thinking for menswear?
Men sometimes no need to be too much
to be too sexy.
I don't think he needs to wear a lot.
That red I like. The velvet.
- This is the mask. Like a muzzle.
- Muzzle.
The back lines are gonna give it
that haunting feeling.
Holy sh
I'm supposed
to be some sort of underwear guru,
so now I really have to make sure
that these pieces come together.
We've been looking for an opportunity
to show that we understand color
and that we can use it.
Ashton is pretty much good at everything,
but he doesn't make a lot of underwear.
So we'll just start from here,
and then we'll cut down.
Yeah.
I don't really make underwear,
but according to Marco, I just smell them.
[laughing]
Not true, though.
[whispers] A little bit true.
Underwear doesn't have
to make you feel sexy, by the way.
- No.
- It can also be functional.
I mean, I wear more traditional sexy bras,
- but I also wear boxer shorts sometimes.
- Yeah.
What do you think about doing some sort
of boxery pant,
but in lace and a bit butch,
but also feminine?
With this challenge, we are thinking
about how we can mix gender boundaries
and how womens wear can inspire menswear
and menswear can inspire womens wear.
So for the man, we're making a silk shirt
and shorts,
which is inspired
by a woman's camisole set.
And then for the woman,
we're making men's boxers,
a velvet dress and has a window
so you can see the underwear underneath.
So, it'd be like this.
Imagine it a bit longer
and then imagine this window.
[Daniel]
I think this black is nice. It could work.
- Do you see?
- Yeah.
Okay, you go for it, girl.
- I saw this.
- [Farai] Okay.
[Kiki] And I was loving it.
Then I started seeing this,
and I was like, "Ooh, this is fun."
There you go. Now you're a happy camper.
Taste the rainbow, bitch.
Of course we're gonna make some underwear,
but not, like, sexy. It's more like
- you know, elegant way?
- Yes.
I've never made lingerie
in my life before.
[Angel]
I feel like that one could be something.
Tight and sexy. It's not my thing.
[laughing]
[Angel] Oh, my God.
[Minju] Whoosh!
We somehow were attracted
to the beautiful lace.
And when we bring
the whole lace together and mix it up,
we just realize it's just like water lily.
As beautiful as Monet's painting.
If we think it's too naked,
we can use the thinner one.
Then it won't show, like, too sexy.
Although I really want it to be sexy.
[laughs]
But I totally respect you.
[laughing]
This beautiful curvy model fit
is everything.
I need the underwire in there.
I don't need the cup.
We don't want to do anything
too costume-y because lingerie,
it needs to be relatable.
So, for the woman,
we'll have a kimono wrap,
a bustier top with lace detailing,
and a sort of boxer short with a slit.
And the man will have
the exact same boxer short,
so it's completely unisex.
So, I'm basically
sculpting the bust right now,
and we were very fortunate
to get a fuller woman, which I love,
because my sisters are bigger,
and I love uplifting women,
and they need support,
so I'm very familiar in this area.
I'm thinking about my sisters
and the dresses I've made for them.
I made two wedding dresses for her.
So, I'm applying my knowledge
of what curvier people need.
It's all about the fit, the construction,
the underwires, and the proportion.
Maybe it's not too much sexy.
No. I don't feel comfortable
with her spilling out of it.
- We'll keep it like this.
- Okay, okay.
[Tan] Hi, Kiki and Farai.
- [Alexa] Hi, guys!
- I've got a delivery for you.
- [grunts]
- [laughing]
[Tan] Guys, what's going on?
What are we making?
[Farai] We decided

but lounging.
Our inspiration is a super fabulous
rich couple that own a yacht.
I am working on the men's look.
He's gonna be wearing loose trousers,
and then he's gonna have a robe on top.
[Kiki] For our curvy girl,
I am working on a cami bottom,
a fun bralette without an underwire.
It's super sexy,
but also not too, too structured.
- You have this beauty going on.
- That's part of her top.
- [Tan] Part of her bra?
- Yeah, like, um
I can put it on and show you.
You know, we wanted to make sure, like,
it's kind of like super sexy.
Nice.
And then, what's your idea
of hot lingerie?
Oh, my gosh, I'm so far removed
from hot lingerie.
I've been married for four years,
and I have a ten-month-old son.
- His name is Sunday.
- You're a new mom.
I do feel like this challenge is sort of,
like, lighting that sexy fire again.
So maybe when I get home,
we were talking baby number two may come
- because of this.
- [Tan] Oh!
- That's how it happens.

This is like a good challenge for me.

Because I'm really not sure
what lingerie means.
Hang on, please. I'm the Alexa machine.
- Alexa.

What's the definition of underwear,
and what is the definition of lingerie?
Underwear focuses on functionality
and performance,
whereas lingerie focuses on aesthetics
and design.
Now, go to sleep, Alexa.
[laughing]
It seems like you're on the right track.
Tell us what you're doing.
We were inspired by Monet.
So the female look will be like a bra gown

while the men's look is green jersey
plus a really beautiful lavender color
as a rope on the outside.
Can I ask you a personal question?
Is that okay?
Are you married? Do you have a boyfriend?

[Marco] We're adding a little bit
of the BDSM vibe into these pieces.
But we don't wanna do it in a way
that is dark and deviant.
We're trying to bring it out
into the light.
- [Tan] Oh. Oh.
- [Alexa] Oh, my God, this is fantastic!
- [Marco] You like that?

underwear before,
so we weren't sure
if that was gonna work.
Yes, it's good, 'cause you can see
the boxer from behind.
See, this is exactly what I wanted.
I wanted sexy, modern,
but I want you to feel beautiful in it,
'cause that's what lingerie should do.
[man] Designers, one hour to the runway
show please. One hour. Thank you.
[Charles] Is it too loose?
[Angelo] A little, a little.
It's very little.
[Charles] I know, but if it's a little,
I have to take the whole thing out.
[Angelo groans]
- Did you measure the waist properly?
- Yeah, yeah.
That's like an inch I have to bring in
everywhere. That's a lot of work.
It's just invisible, invisible looking.
Invisible.
This is the only thing he's wearing.
It has to be perfect.
Our model is a lot smaller
than we anticipated.
So we have to bring in the waistband,
which is like
an entire reconstruction.
So I'm not exactly happy about that.
I'm just trying to stay calm,
because the thing is
my mom always taught me
if you work calmly, you can get more done.
[man] Forty minutes to the runway show.
Forty minutes.
So the hair is sort
of like an old Hollywood.
It's like old Hollywood glamour,
but the next day.
- The next day, yeah.
- Yeah.
- Minju, what are you doing on our machine?
- [mutters]
[Daniel] I'm joking.
- You can use it as much as--
- [Minju] Oh, Daniel!
- Sorry!
- [laughs]
Don't make a joke now.
It's not the right timing for me. Whoo!
I think the most struggling
is the material.
I've never used lace before,
but now I have to hand-stitch more layers.
I'm really struggling with the lace.
Yeah, so the menswear look
is almost there,
so I want to hurry up and help Minju.
[Minju] Oh, my God!
This is too much layer of the lace.
So I'm really considering
should I remove it
and make it more see-through here
and more sexy
is what I'm really considering now.
I don't want to make too much volume
on the top of it
and then make her look strange.
She's pretty as it is,
so I think that's why
I think I'm a bit struggling
[sobbing]
Yeah, I think so.
Oh, I think lingerie is really difficult.
[man] Designers, you have 30 minutes
to the runway show.
- [model] I love the maroon.
- [Adolfo] Yeah, it looks great on you.
- [Claire] You could put a wire here.
- [Adolfo] Yeah.
[Claire] That's what keeps it there.
[Adolfo] There is so much lacing
that needs to happen to this piece
in order to get done,
and I'm just super stressed out about it.
[groans]
[man] Designers, ten minutes please,
ten minutes before the runway. Thank you.
[man] Ten minutes. Ten minutes!
- [Ashton] Bring it off one shoulder.
- [Marco] Mmm! Mmm!
[Ashton] Marco, the length is perfect.
- On the robe?
- It's crazy perfect.
Do you like it? Should I go for it?
- Yeah, you should go for it.
- Okay.
[shouts]
- [Farai] You feel okay?
- [model] Mm-hmm.
- [Farai] Yeah? Okay, cool.
- I look okay?
[Farai] Yeah, you look great.
Big important thing about these looks is
we need to make sure they fit properly,
especially because
we have this beautiful curvy model.
We just want to make sure
that she's tight
and sucked in and looks beautiful.
- Time check.
- [Ashton] Can we get a time, please?
[Minju] What time is it now?
[man] Two-minute warning, everyone.
Two-minute warning.
- [Farai] Oh, no.

- Whose bedroom are they in?
- [chattering]
- Is that real fire?
[Alexa] This is Carli and Daniel.
They wanted to create that window,
so you could have a peekaboo moment
for the dress
and the idea of doing a feminine menswear.
[Elizabeth Stewart] I think the men's look
is a really interesting choice.
It really is carried off.
You wouldn't think a man would want
to wear lace.
- Oh!
- [laughing]
[Adriana] I love the fabric on the lady.
[Tan] What do you think of the color

I absolutely love it. It's really nice.
[Alexa] This is Farai and Kiki.
[cheering]
Perched, okay?
[Tan]
I think the man's look is very cool.
[Adriana] I think I like the fabric.
- It's almost like a geisha kind of feel.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, I totally see that.
But I have concerns

Yo.
- I think this is so joyful and fun.
- I love it.
- It's creative, rebellious, sexy, bold.

I think it's just really--
It's a very confident move on their part.
[Adriana]
I love how the graphic, how it's designed.
It's like nothing that I've seen before.
I like what they've even done
with the man, the thing over his face.
I think it's actually really cool.
[woman] Energy, energy. Go!
[Alexa] This is Angelo and Charles.
[Elizabeth] Their construction
and their silhouettes are amazing.
- [Alexa] Yeah.
- [Elizabeth] It's really well done.
Oh.
Excuse me, they were having
a moment there.
I like the moment.
[Farai] She's like, "Come here, boy!'
- "Come here."
- [laughing]
[Adriana] I really love the cuts
on her corset.
So perfectly fit on her.
[cheering]
[Alexa] Angel and Minju.
[Adriana] I like the fabric.
I like the colors.
The lace is a little bit too much.
[Tan]
No underwire under the woman's bosom.
It's never what I wanna see on a runway.
It feels frumpy.
[Elizabeth] Coming from Angel and Minju,
it's very much in their spirit.
Very light, frothy.
If anything's lacking in the work,
it might be they're not sexy.
[Alexa] Wow.
Two, one, go.
[Tan] Claire and Adolfo.
I'll be your perfect stranger ♪

[Adriana] I think I love it.
I like how it's constructed,
how it fits the models.
I love the velvet.
I love the corset that they did.

There's is a little vampire inspire.
Let's ask them what their inspiration was.
We can interview the vampires.

Oh, my God!

- Yes, please.
- Come on, let's do this.
- Let's go.
Let's go back up.
Gets a little more comfortable like that.
The most obvious difference
between our pieces and everyone else's
is the amount of color we've used.
Everybody seems to have stayed
very restrained in their palette.
And we just let the dogs loose.
- We let the unicorn loose.

First of all,
tell us the story behind this.
[Marco] We wanted to do something colorful
and fun and friendly.
- We wanted to be sexy, without being--
- It's not colorful or fun at all.
[laughing]
[Tan] Let's see. Show us.
- Adriana, what do you think?
- It's so cool.
This design,
the "v" on the back is really cool.
It sometimes looks vulgar,
but you kept it tasteful.
[Adriana] I love the pattern.
I love the colors.
Is this connected? It's like one piece.
[Ashton] From the mouth to the fingers
all one piece.
Okay. Ah!
For me and Adriana, who are very innocent,
tell us about the muzzle.
We're showing so much skin,
that it's a beautiful way
to frame his eyes.
- [Ashton] Yeah.
- The fit on you looks really incredible.
How do you feel?
It feels great.
As a plus-size model, it's not always easy

[Alexa] Angelo and Charles.
- Hi again.
- Can you tell us about your looks?
The main theme was, kind of, unisex
- [Alexa] Mm-hmm.
- embracing masculine and femininity.
Your big idea, to me, is this high slit,
and the fit is excellent,
which is what people want.
- It's all about proportion.
- Yeah, exactly.
[Elizabeth] This robe is great.
It was honestly my favorite robe.
I always have to add a little bit
of a collared Japanese moment in there.
I appreciate that it added
something to the look.
How do you think it compared
to everything else you saw tonight?
I mean, I love black, so
I was happy there was
an all-black moment.
- You know? Yeah.
- Okay.
I think you could've pushed a little bit
with that.
The all-black brought it all down to me
just a little bit only
in terms of spectacle.
We decided to be more cleaner.
We think in a more private
and elegant way.
- [Alexa] Yeah.
- We tried.
Kiki and Farai.
Talk to me about the woman's look.
We wanted something luxurious,
so when I saw this fabric, I just died.
I thought it was amazing.
We love the pearlized,
just the iridescent effect of the white.
And then, when I saw this,
I just lost my mind.
Yeah.
Adriana, I'd love to know what you think.
[Adriana] I love the fabric,
I like the cut. The top,
I, personally, would like
a little bit more support.
I don't know what this is here.
This is a cover.
So there's real structure under here.
We just put an actual structured bra
with the bra cups and everything,
and this is just layered on top.
Do you have an underwire under there?
I don't have it. I removed the underwire.
[Tan] I wish it had an underwire.
She's got such an ample bosom.
I wish it just had
a little bit more support.
Right? It would've looked
a little better on the runway
if she had a little more support.
I thought she looked nice and lifted,
so I left it.
[Tan]
The woman's, I'm not in love with.
I wish you had done something more
with the shorts.
That fabric was so well-used here,
I kind of wish you had repeated something
with that detail. I love it on the man.
Okay.
Neither of you had experience in lingerie.
Did that create any tension?
I felt a bit stressed out,
as you know from the first day. [laughing]
- Can you tell us about your looks?
- Yeah.
Well, I wear boy's boxer shorts,
and I also wear more feminine bras,
and it's really irritating that
my boxer shorts can never match my bra.
So what we created for her is a bra
and boxer shorts that match.
[Elizabeth] Well, let's look at that.
We didn't get to see that on the runway.
I like the sheer panel, but
- [Alexa] Oh, my God, they're beautiful.
- [Elizabeth] Those are great.
It's like a mix between sporty
and feminine.
Boyish and non-boyish.
[Alexa] Yeah, on the men's look
can we see the camisole underneath?
Yeah. So with this, who's to say
that a man needs to wear
something that is super masculine?
I think you need to reclaim it.
- I think it's awesome.
- You did a great job.
What you've done so well here
is that balance between masculine
and feminine and how it's played out.
Thank you. [laughs]
I wish I could see more of those knickers,
because they're so brilliant.
A pop of the baby blue here
would've been amazing, too, to link them.
We wanted to do something, basically,
like red velvet chamber look,
but in a modern flex.
Mm-hmm. Elizabeth, what are your thoughts?
I like the luxe color.
I love the men's look, in particular.
I like the Renaissance vibe.
It's just so interesting.
I love the mix of masculine and feminine.
It just feels like this really great blend
of ideas.
For me, I wish I could see more
of the womens wear look.
I think the kimono is really beautiful,
but it's kind of hiding something.
Yeah.
This color was an interesting choice,
'cause it is so boudoir.
When it's paired also
with the Renaissance, it can skew too
- [Adolfo] Yeah.
- costume-y in that sense.
- Best of luck.
- Thank you.
I'm very stressed out.
I'm very, very stressed out.
I love the color palette,
but we didn't bring out that much
lingerie sexiness
compared to other designers.
I'm actually a bit nervous
about what the judges will say to us.
Angel and Minju have been at the top
a couple of times now.
You've done very well.
You've done very, very well.
Tell us about your inspiration.
We got inspired from the water lily,
so that's why we made a beautiful cut
as a flower,
- and then lots of layering.
- I love it.
[Adriana] I love the colors.
I love that you got inspired
by the water lilies.
I wish there was less draping.
- You know?
- Yeah.
so I can see her beautiful shape.
And here on the side,
she would need to be
a little bit more covered.
[Tan] I love the panel of blue.
If you took away a little of that lace,
I think it would have been so good,
so good.
The man's look. If it was toned down,
it could've been one of my favorite looks.
There was just too much added to it.
I just think you went
a little bit overboard.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
You're awesome.
Who knew there were so many
different versions of sexy?
I didn't. I thought it was
just Peter Pan collar and granny pants.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- What about Carli and Daniel's look?
[Adriana]
I absolutely love the look together.
I love the dress and the little peekaboo
- detail here.
- Yeah.
I think the men's look was one
of my favorite looks of the show.
You wouldn't think a man could wear lace,
and I actually can see it now.
- [Alexa] Yeah.
- Then we have Farai and Kiki.
[Adriana] The woman's upper body wasn't
fixed enough.
One jump. Those are everywhere.
Okay, let's go onto Ashton and Marco.
[Elizabeth] It just looked incredible.
The colors. Happy, strong, bright.
[Tan] The muzzle added detail
that I have not seen in lingerie before.
It was fun. Angelo and Charles.
[Adriana] I loved the construction,
and I like that his shorts
could be unisex.
I love the side that's open on the bottom.
Mm-hmm. Okay, Angel and Minju.
I've got to tell you.
- I'm not angry, I'm disappointed.
- Yeah, exactly.
I think the lace was a little bit too much
on the bottom.
We've seen that happen before,
where a designer has a great concept,
but they'll add so much that they've
then destroyed their beautiful work.
- [Alexa] So we have reached a decision?
- Mm-hmm.
- Yes.
- Okay.
The talent in this room, at this point,
is undeniable,
but only one team can win this challenge.
And sadly, one team will be
leaving us tonight.
So in tonight's underwear challenge,
the winning team is
Marco and Ashton.
- [laughs] Goddamn!
- [Alexa] Congratulations!
We're gonna make it.
We're gonna make it.
[Marco] This was a good one to win,
because we put so much of ourselves
into this.
We were trying to represent our community.
It feels like a real acknowledgment that,
up until this point in the competition
maybe we haven't received.
Your look brought joy to my heart.
It was just bold and spirited
and colorful.
I loved the impact it had on the runway.
It was different.
The patterns, I loved it.
The colors. Congratulations.
[both] Thank you.
Okay, we're coming to the bit
that I absolutely despise.
But unfortunately,
we're gonna be saying goodbye
to one team tonight.
The first team that I would like
to step forward tonight is
Angel and Minju.
And the next team in contention
for leaving tonight
please step forward
Farai and Kiki.
[Tan] Okay, Angel and Minju,
there was just so much fabric,
and I think it just
overwhelmed your model.
Lingerie you did not seem
comfortable with,
and the end result was just a little bit
sort of sexless.
We were a little bit disappointed
by ourselves, actually,
because we can do way much better.
You guys have known each other
for a few years now.
Tell me about your relationship.
Has it changed?
Has it morphed into something else?
Yes, we definitely got more closer,
and I think at the beginning,
she's like big sister.
She's always taking care of me.
- [sobs] Now Minju feels like my family.
- Uh-huh.
For this challenge, I feel like I've been
putting her down
- and didn't give her enough support.
- No.
[sniffling] She's the reason why I'm here.
- Okay?
- Yeah.
Farai and Kiki.
The women's look really brought it
down for you.
Especially the upper bra.
It missed a little bit of construction
and support.
I disagree about the construction.
My concept was, you know, a lounge,
so in talking about an underwire,
I didn't want it.
[Tan]
I understand where you're coming from,
but the construction just wasn't
where we needed it to be.
Fit and construction
is incredibly important for lingerie.
The execution was not up to par,
so the women's look missed the mark.
So we have a decision.
The team leaving us tonight is
Farai and Kiki.
You guys, we've loved having you.
How's it been for you?
Have you enjoyed this process?
This was an amazing experience.
More than anything in this competition,
there was a point where I realized
where Farai is in her growth.
I've just seen her flourish,
and it's just I just
But that's like more
That was more important
than anything else.
You are everything to me.
You are my big sister.
You are my mentor,
and this doesn't stop here.
This continues.
She is auntie to my son.
So, it's like this is family.
I'm so glad I did this with you.
I couldn't have seen myself doing it
with anybody else.
- And I love you so much.
- [sobbing]
[Alexa] Well, Farai and Kiki,
it's been such an honor to have you
part of this show,
so thank you so much.
- But we have to say good night.
- [Farai] All right, thank you.
- [Tan] Bye, you guys.
- Bye, guys, bye.
- [Kiki] It's just subjective.
- [Farai] You can't please everybody.
- As long as we please ourselves.
- As long as you do you
then what the hell else you gonna do?
Exactly. That's all that matters.
This competition, for me,
I realized it was less about being
this perfect designer,
but more about self-growth
and just being confident
in the work that I do.
So, I'm definitely leaving
a much confident designer.
I liked that I was able to be here,
you know, for Farai.
[sighs]
- Love you, boo.
- I love you, Kiki.
- Oh, my gosh! Lex!
- [trills]
- It doesn't get any easier, does it, love?
- It's horrible.
- It really is.
- There we have it.
Did you hear what we've got next?
- What?
- Rock and roll.
- Press the button now.
- [snapping fingers]
It's so good.
You're gonna love this one. Oh.
