[Pep] Get tight, guys. Get tight.
[tense music playing]
We are all together here?
Do you wanna play
in the final of the Champions League?
-Yeah?
-Yes!
[birds singing]
[reporter 1] Let's get
to Wednesday's title showdown
between Manchester City and Arsenal.
[reporter 2] Arsenal's draw
moves them five points clear at the top,
but crucially, they've now played
two more games than City.
[pundit] Arsenal Football Club
are a massive institution.
They're back at the top for a reason,
and they had an opportunity
to be eight points clear
in the Premier title race, and somehow,
that eight points has now slipped away.
[Pep] It's really important, not decisive,
because there's still many tough games
for both sides.
We have more games to play, but,
uh, we cannot deny how important it is.
-Lovely day. Look, amazing.
-[producer] Finally.
Yeah, finally.
Erling, get us my boots, lad.
[indistinct chatter]
[Haaland] That's the difference
between me and you.
I'm a good guy.
[Grealish] Whoa, whoa. Hold on.
Who went downstairs and got your Domino's
and delivered to your door?
[Dias] It has been difficult,
and it will be difficult until the end
'cause it's so easy to look far ahead,
and it's so easy for you to lose the focus
into things that you think might happen.
And that's the one thing
that can get you killed.
Sometimes, in league football,
you have finals,
even though
they they are not technically finals,
that Arsenal match felt,
pretty much, like a final.
[Natalie Gedra] We want the feel
of the title-deciding match,
and we had that feel
of, "Okay, this is big."
"This This match is big."
[Dias] Every year,
there's a strong opponent,
it's perfect
'cause it just makes your triumph better.
Just another another one.
Just another day at the office.
[pundit] Manchester City
are on fantastic form right now.
The title race is delicately balanced.
The fact that Arsenal have dropped points
has given further incentive to City
to keep on trying
to hunt them down at the top.
City, as we've seen before
at this stage of the season,
can be relentless,
and they would need to be relentless.
[commentator] Defeat for either
of these two sides is simply unthinkable.
I wanna give you advice for this type
of games against this opponent.
We've played two times.
If you don't finish with problems
with the ankle, for the kicks,
for the knees, for the shoulders,
then you didn't compete.
Today it's simple as that
against the opponent.
You have to enjoy having been kicked.
You have to enjoy having pain.
After kicks, stand up and go one more.
Otherwise it will not be possible.
And you are possible. Okay guys? Vale.
[shouting]
Let's go!
[commentator 1] This is the big one
we've been waiting for.
[commentator 2] Just incredible.
The noise is superb.
The atmosphere just seems
to have gone up a few notches
from any other game I can remember here.

Lays it off to De Bruyne,
and De Bruyne's advancing.

[laughs]
[commentator 2] De Bruyne shoots!
Oh, brilliant.
[fans cheering]
How about that
for lighting the touch paper, then?
[fans singing]
[commentator 1] Here is Erling Haaland.
Saved by Ramsdale.
Relishing the battle
they find themselves in here.
[commentator 2] The free kick.
It's a free header, and it's 2-0.
But the offside flag
will deny John Stones the goal.
Well, he's being told,
Michael Oliver, to award the goal.
Manchester City make it 2-0.
[Grealish] Hey.
We can use him so much more.
[indistinct chatter]
But, like, in behind though.
Yeah. You put the ball there. I run.
Until when? Holding's back?
Yes. Wait and see. Just do it.
Then it's one against one, me and Gabriel.
-Okay, I'll do that.
-Wait and see. Just do it. Just do it.
[Grealish] Boys,
we know what they're gonna be like.
As soon as they come out now, I swear,
they're gonna get in there.
Come on, boys.
Straight from the off. Straight away.
[Haaland] We press them.

De Bruyne!
-[crowd cheering]

And if this is a title decider,
it's very much gone the way
of Manchester City.
[commentator 2] The hair
has been released from the elastic.
-[pundit] He is a striking Viking.
-[commentator 1] It's like a shampoo ad.
[commentator 2] What a touch
from Foden. Haaland!
[commentator 3] I think
that's a fairer reflection
of this dominance tonight,
and it could've been six, seven, eight.
Come on!
Yes!
[Foden] I was trying
to get it out of my feet.
But I knew
you were gonna touch it like that.
[man] Full Viking mode, he went!
It's not over. We could drop points.
It's the reality,
and they can win the five games.
[Henry Winter] If Arsenal got a draw,
that would just keep
Manchester City at bay.
But then 4-1 and you thought,
"Right, the balance has truly shifted."
[mellow music playing]
[man] That's the one.
[indistinct chatter]
Teach him how to beat Real.
[laughter]
Tonight, dinner.
Tomorrow, breakfast. Just Madrid.
[Khaldoon] And lunch, and dinner.
[laughter]
[Haaland] Every game is a final
for us now.
Every single game counts.
[commentator] Álvarez.
Eluded the challenges well.
And that is absolutely magnificent.
[reporter] Finally back on top, then.
Will that have given them
a psychological boost?
[pundit] They deserve to win the game.
They deserve to be top of the table.
For Arsenal,
after you've been beaten by Man City
in the way they were beaten,
to then be knocked off top spot,
this is a major test
of character for them.
[Grealish] Rúben's too funny, man.
What, organized?
[they laugh]
Everything like Go and have a look
at my stuff, and then have a look at his.
[buzzer rings]

Don't think I'm just doing it
'cause the camera's here.
-Okay, well
-You ask Rúben.
I like to do stuff properly.
[he laughs]
[reporter 1] "Anything can happen."
Those are the words of Pep Guardiola
on Manchester City's busy schedule
between now and the end of the season.
City are still on track
for this historic Treble-winning season.
[reporter 2] Manchester City know
they'll be top of the league again
if they beat West Ham.
[reporter 3] And City striker Haaland
could break a Premier League record
tonight.
It's just one more goal to move
to 35 for the Premier League season
and overtake Andrew Cole and Alan Shearer.
Whoo!
Finally.
[man] You've got a chance, you,
in the game, lad.
Yeah, Sunday League, I've got a chance,
or Stockport County.
[commentator] Another chapter
in the story of this unique season.
The game before against Fulham,
at halftime, I said,
"Ah, I'm going to assist
your record-breaking goal."
Then literally as we come out
of halftime, second half,
I played a pass to him, and he went "bam,"
but the keeper saved it,
and I was like, "No!" Fuming.
[commentator] On it goes to Grealish.
Grealish on to Haaland.
So I was like,
"I need to get him this assist."
It felt like I broke the record.
[commentator] Haaland through on goal.
2-0 City.
Had to be. Haaland doesn't miss those.
And now he becomes
the first player in Premier League history
to hit 35 goals in a season.
Oh!
Phil Foden.
The champions return to the top.
A point clear of Arsenal.
A game in hand, as well.
[pundit] Honestly,
he's absolutely incredible.
Astonishing to see what we've seen here
from a top, top individual.
[reporter] Would you swap the records,

at the end of this season?
Yeah.
