Daisy, how gorgeous to see you.
Oh, you too, um, I was wondering
if I could talk to you
about the upcoming showcase.
You'll bring a certain, um,
je ne sais quoi to it.
[DAISY] I mean, that woman
could ice over
the Sahara with just one look.
I met someone. But he's Marissa's son.
- To Oakley.
- [CLANKING]
[TIPPY] You like her.
Don't be ridiculous, Tippy, no.
- Ahh!
- Hi.
[DAISY] But you always do this.
You make a mess of everything,
you break people's hearts
and then you just bugger off again.
[GRIFFIN] You can talk,
I mean, you're so flaky.
You can't commit to anything.
Louis is the last person on

I'd love to stay but,
I want to get back before

And I wouldn't want to start
any scandalous rumours.
You gotta admit, this secret
fling business is kind of fun.
Mmm, yes.
[BOTH MOAN]
- Well, there you go, gorgeous.
- Mm, thanks.
Um, is this a bit silly?
I mean, do you think we need to
keep it private, private?
Oh, ah, you were the one who
wanted to keep it a secret.
Yeah, I know, it's just,
well, I didn't think
that people would understand and
your parents are still upset
with us not selling,
and I didn't want to get ahead
of ourselves.
But people are gonna have to
know sometime, right?
Yeah, I guess I hadn't really,
thought that far ahead.
No, neither have I,
but, maybe we should,
think about, you know,
coming out, so to speak.

this, whatever this is,
is this gonna be done in time?
It seems very unfinished.

trying very hard not to panic,

there's a, a terrific plan,

things left to do showcase wise.
Um, but, the main priority
is fixing up the tasting room entrance.
Well, sometimes you have a vision

It's like the Taj Mahal.

but I do care when you neglect
our child, all right?
There is no way in hell
I'm sending him back to London.
He deserves to stay here where someone's
at least trying to parent properly.
Oh, and another thing.
When I said the affair
was partly my fault,
I lied to be nice. Bye!
Wrong number.
So, uh, good news, J.
You're staying here, so pick one thing
off your list, anything you like.
Hunting. Rowan says shooting
rabbits is mean as.
S-shooting, actual shooting rabbits?
Okay, well, there's a couple
of things I've got to do
here first, but, oh,
no, no, no, no, bugger it.
Shooting rabbits it is. Great.
Can't wait, can't wait to shoot rabbits.
Oh, shit.
- You all right?
- Ah.
- Hey.
- It doesn't even bloody match.
Well, it doesn't matter.
Yes, it does, I just want Oakley
to be perfect.
Is that too much to ask?
I think it's gonna look amazing.
Is it?
I mean, if I don't pull
off this showcase,
everyone's gonna laugh at me.
No, they're not.
Yes, they are.
I'll just confirm what
everyone's thinking, that I'm,
I'm some flaky party girl from Sydney
who can't commit to anything
because there's always
something new and shiny to play with.
Babe. Nobody thinks that.
Some people do.
You're just stressed out.
Okay, but you've got this.
And by the way, I don't think
you're a flake.
If people can't see how driven,
creative and hardworking
you are, stuff 'em.
Well, I do like shiny new things though.
Yeah, and why wouldn't you?
Oh. People might see.
I don't care.

Julian!
What are you doing here?
[GUS GRUNTING]
You're crushing me.
Gus, what's, what's Tippy doing?
I thought she was on showcase duties?
[GUS] Oh, uh, she's looking
for something.
[LOUIS] What's she looking for?
A necklace?
Oh. Ah, Gus. Julian's really
keen t-to go rabbit hunting.
Um, but I-I'm guessing
Oakley doesn't have any guns.
Oh, nah, yeah, we, we do have one.
I mean, all vineyards
need, ah, need a gun
to deal with the rabbits.
Oh, great, great.
But I-I'm guessing
we'd need a license, right?
The young fella would need
to be with someone
with a gun license. Yeah.
Oh, mate, I'm sorry, such a shame.
[GUS] Oh, well,
no, Don will sort you out,
he's got heaps of guns, and a license.
Ah, no. No, no, no, no. No, I
wouldn't want to bother him.
Nah, he loves hunting.
Yeah, he, he'll help you.
And, um, Nic and Vic,
they're both well into it.
I'd bet you they'd love to join.
Well, it was supposed to be a
kind of father and son
Then can I ask Rowan as well?
Oh, oh, wait, no, it should be
just us. That was the point.
No, no, no, of course you can
ask Rowan as well, honestly.
The more the merrier.
More, more, more the merrier.
- Everything okay?
- Of course, yeah.
Yeah, I'm just trying
to find the right line,
don't wanna bump the
furniture around too much.
What's the matter?
You're not nervous about
being seen with me, are you?
- No.
- Oh.
But?
- I should tell my parents.
- Oh.
I just want them to hear it from me,
rather than the local rumour mill.
That's, that's sweet, and fair.
- I'll tell them later on today.
- Oh, great.
In the meantime, I doubt you
helping me unload a trailer
will set too many tongues wagging, so.

so I'm just, I'm helping her with that.

Ben. From The Church.

[CHUCKLES] Oh, God, no. No, no, no, no.
No. No. Well, that's, that's splendid.

back to the, the furniture.
Oh, he seems like a nice,
a nice young man.
Oh, yes, he's, um, yes, he's,
he's very, he's very helpful.
Dad's taking me rabbit hunting.
Ew! Oh, I, I thought we were
all pitching in together
to knock off the last of the stuff.
Yeah, you're right actu
Mate, Daisy's right,
I-I think we're probably gonna
have to postpone it.
But Rowan's gone to get
his weapons, so has Vic.
Oh, well. If it doesn't take
all day I'm sure it'll be fine.
Oh, thanks, Daisy.
You, you didn't have to say yes.
No, you gotta get some time in.
I mean daylight lasts forever
these days and
as long as you're back by this
afternoon to What's wrong?
Ah, I don't want to go rabbit hunting.
I've got a thing, I was very,
very scarred by Watership Down
and, um, if I see a dead rabbit,
with its glassy eyes.
Well, then why on earth did you say yes?
Because I've already
screwed him up for life
and he's only 11. Twelve. He's 12.
We need to bond.
Julian ran away to be with you, Louis.
I think you're doing okay.
[DAISY CHUCKLES]
Okay. Last one?
[BEN] Yup.
[INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC]

registered gun owner, I take it?
Sure. If you like.
And the hunt's assembled. Good one.
Ah, Don, what's, uh, Wanda doing here?
Oh, she's a hunting pig.
But, but what does she do?
She hunts.
Well, here's to a freezer full of meat.
They might be filthy rodents,
but they taste good.
[ROWAN] There's only one way
to cook rabbit.
Freshly skinned and roasted
over an open fire.
Dad. When we get a rabbit,
can we roast it?
You know, on a stick.
Yep, that, that would be lovely.
Okay, killer, let's get you
trained up, huh. Come with me.
Oh, it's, um, it's looking good.
[GUS] Yeah.
I'm guessing Tippy's still AWOL?
Don't worry, it's all right.
I already assumed that I'd be
doing the planting myself.
I mean, the horns are important.

Ah, nothing, no, I mean, um,

[DAISY] Um, Tippy?
- Look, are you all right?
- I'm fine.
Well, I don't mean to be
banging on about it,
but I just don't understand
why you seem intent on
digging up half the vineyard.
What's going on?
We practice biodynamic wine making.
Oh, we do?
In the autumn, we bury cow horns
filled with manure in the vineyard.
The cosmic energy of the sun and
the rain seeps into the manure
inside the horns, and when it's
solstice, we dig them up,
we mix the manure in a barrel by hand
and then we spray that mix on
the vines to enrich the soil
and keep everything in balance.
Right. Well, it's, it's not
solstice though, is it?
I didn't dig them up.
Stanley died right before
we usually do it,
and I forgot.
It's my fault.
Well, but if it's waited this long
If we're not gonna honour
Stanley's memory,
there isn't gonna be a vineyard
worth bloody showcasing.
But he made terrible wine.
Everything that's special about
Oakley is down to him.
So he didn't make it Instagramiable,
but he poured his life and soul
into it, why don't you get that?
Okay, well. Uh, maybe I can help.
I don't know where the horns are.
That's the point, he never told me.
Oh.
Well, we'll just have to
find them then, won't we?
Yeah.
[INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC]
Hey, I was thinking that maybe
Vic and I should head
into the trees and try
and flush some rabbits out
for you guys, so you can,
you know get them.
Brilliant idea. Brilliant idea.
Ah, you guys, um, watch out for rabbits
and don't shoot that way.
- Hmm.
- Right.
This won't take long.
- Let's go.
- Okay.
There's nothing here.
Oh, no, no, keep looking.
I just found a 200 quid receipt
from Harrods,
nineteen ninety-nine,
for clotted cream fudge.
If you're afraid of butter
- Use cream.
- Use cream.
Oh, he used to say that all the time.
[TIPPY] Daisy?
Sorry.
What happened between you and Stanley?
Why didn't you keep in touch?
You know it really upset him,
thought of you as his daughter.
When my mother got cancer,
they said there was nothing
they could do, really.
She could have had chemo,
which would have given her
a few more years.
Without it a few months.
She didn't want the treatment,
even though I begged her to get it.
And I asked Stanley to make her and
he wouldn't. He said it was her choice.
So he was doing what she wanted?
It wasn't what I wanted.
I wanted my mum around for longer
and he could have
convinced her, and he didn't.
And I hated him for it.
Anyway, after she died, I, I
stopped talking to him really,
and he didn't know how to deal with it.
Surly, grieving teenager, so
he sent me away to boarding school.
And we just kind of fell into
Gift baskets.
Yeah.
Anyway, hah, enough of that, um,
I think you're right, I don't
think the answer's here, so
why don't we just go back out
and find these horns,
and just, um, start at the beginning.
Yeah.
[MELLOW MUSIC]
So, J, you know you don't
actually have to shoot anything,
just, ah, as long as
you try your best, yeah?
No, don't worry, I'm totally
gonna give it my best shot.
[LAUGHS] We'll, uh, we'll show
'em how it's done. Right?
Yeah.
[RUSTLING]
Go on then.
[SIGHS]
J, what's the matter?
I don't want to kill a rabbit.
Thank God. Nor do I.
When I saw that poor rabbit I thought
I was going to lose my lunch.
Oh, mate, come here. [LAUGHS]
Rowan's gonna think I'm pathetic.
No, he's not.
I got a plan.
[GUNSHOT]
That's you winging the rabbit.
[GUNSHOT]
You fired again,
but the bloody thing got away.
[BIRD SQUAWKING]
Oh. Oh, God.
[MARISSA] Well, the red carpet
has arrived.
And?
And our very famous, special
guest has almost confirmed.
[LAUGHS] It's gonna be the most
talked about showcase yet.
[CLANKING]
Yeah, I, I was talking with
Daisy from Oakley, earlier.
Oh, poor Oakley. Oh, completely
out of their depth.
Well, actually, Daisy's a lot
more switched on,
than you might think.
Well, you must know something
that I don't?
She might surprise you.
She's actually really
smart and determined
hardly some flake who can't
commit to anything.
I don't think I ever said that.
No, I know, I know, she just worries
that's what people think about her.
Well, you have been having
some in depth chats.
Yeah, we have.
Actually, and I, um,
I just-I just-I just don't think that
you should under, underestimate her.
Anything else you wanna tell me?

Sure. If you like.
And the hunt's assembled. Good one.
Ah, Don, what's, uh, Wanda doing here?
Oh, she's a hunting pig.
But, but what does she do?
She hunts.
Well, here's to a freezer full of meat.
They might be filthy rodents,
but they taste good.
[ROWAN] There's only one way
to cook rabbit.
Freshly skinned and roasted
over an open fire.
Dad. When we get a rabbit,
can we roast it?
You know, on a stick.
Yep, that, that would be lovely.
Okay, killer, let's get you
trained up, huh. Come with me.
Oh, it's, um, it's looking good.
[GUS] Yeah.
I'm guessing Tippy's still AWOL?
Don't worry, it's all right.
I already assumed that I'd be
doing the planting myself.
I mean, the horns are important.
[DAISY] The what?
Ah, nothing, no, I mean, um,
there are no horns, we're horn free.
Well, hang Gus.
Seriously, do I want to know?
I think you should probably
just ask Tippy.
- Right.
- [PHONE RINGING]
Oh, bugger, could you grab that?
- What?
- Nothing.
Oh. Sorry.
[GUS] It's fine.
Tell me he didn't break your heart?
Not completely.
Oh. Well, he's a thoughtless,
closeted, fool.
He's a unicorn.
A what?
Sometimes you meet someone
and you think,
they're like no one I've ever met.
A unicorn.
So even as they gallop away
you feel pretty lucky
to have met one at all.
Oh, Gus.
But you guys are still friends, right?
Wait, not because of me?
No. No, no.
No, Griffin has many, many good points,
he's funny and loyal
and naughty, generous.
But he can also be judgmental
and very careless of people's feelings.
Yeah, I see that. But I still miss him.
Me too.
[INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC]
Woah, woah, woah.
Shoulder up, son, like I showed you.
[GUNSHOT]
He was getting away. First kill
of the day, let's check it out.
[NIC AND DON CHUCKLING]
Its guts are out.
One down, more to go.
[DON] Well, listen up.
I think we'll have better luck
if we, uh,
we split up, yeah.
Ah, I'll go with dad.
Uh, we'll take Louis and Julian.
We'll blood you on your first kill, eh?
Rowan, you're with me, mate.
[NIC] Hmm. Come on.
In with anger, out with love.
[DAISY] Um, Tippy?
- Look, are you all right?
- I'm fine.
Well, I don't mean to be
banging on about it,
but I just don't understand
why you seem intent on
digging up half the vineyard.
What's going on?
We practice biodynamic wine making.
Oh, we do?
In the autumn, we bury cow horns
filled with manure in the vineyard.
The cosmic energy of the sun and
the rain seeps into the manure
inside the horns, and when it's
solstice, we dig them up,
we mix the manure in a barrel by hand
and then we spray that mix on
the vines to enrich the soil
and keep everything in balance.
Right. Well, it's, it's not
solstice though, is it?
I didn't dig them up.
Stanley died right before
we usually do it,
and I forgot.
It's my fault.
Well, but if it's waited this long
If we're not gonna honour
Stanley's memory,
there isn't gonna be a vineyard
worth bloody showcasing.
But he made terrible wine.
Everything that's special about
Oakley is down to him.
So he didn't make it Instagramiable,
but he poured his life and soul
into it, why don't you get that?
Okay, well. Uh, maybe I can help.
I don't know where the horns are.
That's the point, he never told me.
Oh.
Well, we'll just have to
find them then, won't we?
Yeah.
[INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC]
Hey, I was thinking that maybe
Vic and I should head
into the trees and try
and flush some rabbits out
for you guys, so you can,
you know get them.
Brilliant idea. Brilliant idea.
Ah, you guys, um, watch out for rabbits
and don't shoot that way.
- Hmm.
- Right.
This won't take long.
- Let's go.
- Okay.
There's nothing here.
Oh, no, no, keep looking.
I just found a 200 quid receipt
from Harrods,
nineteen ninety-nine,
for clotted cream fudge.
If you're afraid of butter
- Use cream.
- Use cream.
Oh, he used to say that all the time.
[TIPPY] Daisy?
Sorry.
What happened between you and Stanley?
Why didn't you keep in touch?
You know it really upset him,
thought of you as his daughter.
When my mother got cancer,
they said there was nothing
they could do, really.
She could have had chemo,
which would have given her
a few more years.
Without it a few months.
She didn't want the treatment,
even though I begged her to get it.
And I asked Stanley to make her and
he wouldn't. He said it was her choice.
So he was doing what she wanted?
It wasn't what I wanted.
I wanted my mum around for longer
and he could have
convinced her, and he didn't.
And I hated him for it.
Anyway, after she died, I, I
stopped talking to him really,
and he didn't know how to deal with it.
Surly, grieving teenager, so
he sent me away to boarding school.
And we just kind of fell into
Gift baskets.
Yeah.
Anyway, hah, enough of that, um,
I think you're right, I don't
think the answer's here, so
why don't we just go back out
and find these horns,
and just, um, start at the beginning.
Yeah.
[MELLOW MUSIC]
So, J, you know you don't
actually have to shoot anything,
just, ah, as long as
you try your best, yeah?
No, don't worry, I'm totally
gonna give it my best shot.
[LAUGHS] We'll, uh, we'll show
'em how it's done. Right?
Yeah.
[RUSTLING]
Go on then.
[SIGHS]
J, what's the matter?
I don't want to kill a rabbit.
Thank God. Nor do I.
When I saw that poor rabbit I thought
I was going to lose my lunch.
Oh, mate, come here. [LAUGHS]
Rowan's gonna think I'm pathetic.
No, he's not.
I got a plan.
[GUNSHOT]
That's you winging the rabbit.
[GUNSHOT]
You fired again,
but the bloody thing got away.
[BIRD SQUAWKING]
Oh. Oh, God.
[MARISSA] Well, the red carpet
has arrived.
And?
And our very famous, special
guest has almost confirmed.
[LAUGHS] It's gonna be the most
talked about showcase yet.
[CLANKING]
Yeah, I, I was talking with
Daisy from Oakley, earlier.
Oh, poor Oakley. Oh, completely
out of their depth.
Well, actually, Daisy's a lot
more switched on,
than you might think.
Well, you must know something
that I don't?
She might surprise you.
She's actually really
smart and determined
hardly some flake who can't
commit to anything.
I don't think I ever said that.
No, I know, I know, she just worries
that's what people think about her.
Well, you have been having
some in depth chats.
Yeah, we have.
Actually, and I, um,
I just-I just-I just don't think that
you should under, underestimate her.
Anything else you wanna tell me?
Nope.
Um, so, tell me about Stanley.
I mean, what he was like here.
T-there's so much I don't know.
He used to sing to the grapes.
- Sing? Ha.
- Yeah.
He had a good voice.
He kept bees for a while.
He got stung all the time.
Thought checking the hives
in his underwear
would make him less
threatening to the bees.
- [CHUCKLES]
- Yeah, I guess not.
There's an image.
[SIGHS]
They're not here.
We're never gonna find them.
Oh. Now, come on.
Okay, so this is roughly where
the horns were last year, right?
Yeah.
But he never told you the pattern?
No, he just seemed to know.
Well, then it's gotta be
something that he remembered.
His birthday?
Nah, I tried that.
I tried my birthday,
Gus' birthday, and yours.
Um, how did you find out my birthday?
Ah, never mind, um,
well, how have you worked it out so far?
Well, I thought that
maybe the birth date relates
to the number of vines
and the rows or
Oh, did you try my mother's birthday?
Well, I don't know
your mother's birthday.
Oh, hang on.
Um, it's
Okay.
Okay.
- All right, let's try it.
- Great.
[TIPPY] Let's check all the paddocks.
All the paddocks? But, ah Oh.
I might need a martini for that. Or ten.
[INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC]

Nope.

[DAISY GROANS]
[DAISY GASPS] Oh.
Oh. Yay! Found them.
Oh, that's funny, I thought they'd,
I thought they'd smell more.
Tippy?
These are the last horns
Stanley will ever bury here.
God, they're all dried out.
There's nothing we can do,
Stanley would be so mad.
No, no, he wouldn't. He wouldn't.
Oh, Tippy. You knew him.
Really knew him.
Like a, like a daughter.
And you're a much better one
than I ever was.
So you should know how proud
he'd be of you.
Besides, Stanley couldn't hold a grudge
or why would he put up
with me for so long?
Do you think?
I think.
Well
can't spray anyway. It's too late.
You're supposed to do it
when the moon is just right,
and the vines are just waking up, and
I just thought I could fix things.
Oh. Well, do you know what?
I think the cosmic rays
have worked their magic
everywhere anyway.
And even if they haven't, Stanley has.
Ah. Twice in one day, people will talk.
- They always do.

whether you might like them?

They'll always come in handy.
I-I-I'll come and grab them, shall I?
Oh, uh, no, because I haven't, um,
haven't actually got them with me.
I'll, I'll, I'll bring them by.
Great.
Oh, I see you're making poo tea.
It's charming the way you're keeping up
