- This is Bryan Mills.
- Now it's your turn to talk.
Mackenzie,
pick up your goddamn phone. It's urgent.
Call me.
Hey, it's Lewis. Leave a message.
Hey, man.
Listen, I'm sorry to call you again,
but I've got good news, all right?
I need you to get Paige moving
on the passport and cards now.
I found a way to get the money together
without even leaving town.
All I need is a few more weeks,
and I'm gonna have all of it.
Nobody knows what
they're doing around here.
So listen, go ahead and
tell Paige to get moving,
'cause this is a done deal.
All right. I miss you, brother.
I'm gonna see you soon.
Heyo.
There better be a few hundred
chop-chop dollars with this.
- Uh, any minute now.
- Agnes is late.
Well, Agnes is a crook.
Do you really believe how
much she says she's making?
No.
Maybe you need to dig a little deeper.
Okay, Nancy Drew. Anyway,
need anything else?
Yeah, no.
What?
Yeah, no.
Which means yeah?
No.
That's it. I'm calling the doctor.
I'm fine.
Really? Because
I've been to the doctor
at Paradise Cove a bunch.
And what did they say?
He says it's just my period.
But you don't think so.
Hey, Rev?
Hello?
I'll be right back.
Hey there, uh, Aidan.
Not a great time, man.
Just two minutes, Rev?

- What?
- I'm really sorry.

Your wife, mate.
Oh! Yeah, right, thanks.
Is that it?
I realize the horrible timing of this,
and if you wanna talk

I completely understand.
No, what's up?
Uh, we're getting married, Pipes and I.
Yeah, I know. Congratulations.
Thank you, thanks. And
I wanna do it right.
You know, build my house on
the rock and not the sand.
- I'm sure you will.
- And obviously, we'll get you
to do the actual wedding.
But we wanna do some of
those premarital sessions too.
- Uh, what?
- You know, have the talks,
get things in the right
order, all that kind of stuff.
I mean, you do do those, right?
Of course. But, well, um,
have a seat, will you?
- Let's start. Great.
- Absolutely.
The important thing to remember, Aidan,
is not to rush it.
Marriage is a really, really big deal,
and I don't know if you know
this, but most marriages
they end in divorce or adultery.
Sure, but we're pretty solid, Rev.
No, I hear you. I do.
And I'm not saying that
you're wrong, per se.
Uh, I'm just saying that,
um, marriage, statistically,
is, uh
well, it's a bad idea.
Maybe.
But I love her, Rev.
So I'm all in on my bad idea.
All right, I'll get
out of your hair. Thank you so much,
and I will see you
when I'm looking at you.
- Absolutely.
- Thanks again.
See ya.

this is ridiculous.
Not coming to us, I'm going to her.
Hi. Package for the poor.

Right, so let me get this straight.
You store and pack

You sell to a consortium in the city,
and you can't come up with
a measly couple of grand?
Well, I'm glad you can wrap
your little American brain around it.
I'm just having trouble with the math.
Oh, shall I get a piece of paper
and a couple of colored Crayons, maybe?
Do I look like I'm joking?
The price of tobacco is going up.
Yeah, and our money's going down.
Mm, now I see. You're
letting yourself get screwed.
Now, that's none of your
flaming business, padre.
If you can't pay me, it
becomes my flaming business.

do about it, padre?

There was a time in my life

to this Australian beach
and stood before you in this old pulpit.
Now, I knew what I was doing

then that was what I was destined to be.
Man, I carried my demons

And yet, they dictated

Now, giving others a
second chance isn't easy.
No.
And giving ourselves a

Second chances are not a concession.
They're a victory,
because if we can find
it within ourselves
to forgive ourselves,
then we can go out, forgive others,
and then maybe, just maybe
That gives us all a chance
to walk a little lighter.
Evening, Rev.
Thanks, man.
- You can forget 40%.
- Aw, relax, big guy.
I wasn't expecting 40.
- Because
- Rising transport cost
and the increased difficulty
in evading law enforcement.
So what we are authorized
to offer you is
10%, and I am gonna tell you
that 10% is simply not going
to work, so that leaves you
with a choice. You can either go back
to the one working phone in
this town and call your boss,
and tell him that you're gonna
have to start all over again,
or you can show a
little bit of initiative,
because this delay is killing you guys,
and I'm sure that he's
not gonna wanna hear
another bad news phone call.
So you stretch to 20% for the farmers,
10% for the church, you
enjoy these beautiful beers
by this beautiful beach, and
you are back on your bikes,
giving the news to your boss.
I mean, you're not crazy
about the 30%, but the fact is,
the deadlock is cleared,
the profit is back on the shelves,
and the supply line
is safe and sustainable
for another generation of
tropical tobacco farmers,
and that sounds like a job well done,
don't you guys think?
Our boss is, uh
he's okay with this arrangement,
'cause he managed to find some savings
by cutting into a piece of the pie.
That's good of him.
It was our piece of the pie.
- Well, economies can be
- Brutal.
Economies can be absolutely brutal.
Yeah.
See you guys later.
I feel so satiated.
Oh.
Honey.
You taking a tinkle?
No.
No. She took it all!
No!
No, no, no, no,
no, no!
