that everybody is part of that.
Everyone is part of that.
So tomorrow is going to start
with Eddy, with Manu, John,
Rúben and Nathan, Rodri, Gündo, Jack,
Erling, Kevin, and Bernardo.
Don't be disappointed
because maybe you don't play or whatever.
And do it together,
and you know when you're going to play,
we are there behind you.
Riyad, Phil, and Julián
will come in to win the game.
And when we need some guys
to play in the pockets or wherever,
we have to defend our result,
what happened against Man United,
Kyle, Ayme, and Kalvin is going to help us
to defend the last minutes
to win the trophy.
If we need someone in the pockets to play,
Rico is the best one.
Sergio in the pockets as well.
We have the people
that surround you close to you,
supporting you, pushing you
to do exactly in the right moment,
we're going to score the goal,
and our keeper Eddy is going to save,
in the moment's going to save.
The best. When I said to you on the pitch,
guys, "Be yourself."
"Do the best version of you."
You know, tomorrow,
we play for the immortality.
We'll become legends.
To win the Treble
and to be in immortality.
Like for the centuries,
centuries, centuries,
the people will remember you.
And to remember you
is not just with these 11 players
that are going to play.
You don't win the Champions League

Kyle was an incredible player for us
these many years,

and didn't play the final.
The physios, doctors, and everyone.
The kit man,

An extremely tactical and cagey first half

[whistle blows]
[commentator 2] It's Manchester City nil,
Inter nil.
What do you think
the halftime message is gonna be?

[coach 1] Only one jump, Bernardo.
[coach 2] Bernardo presses where Jack is.
-[coach 2] Bernardo all the way.
-Yeah. Both sides.
[coach 2] Yeah. Run, run, run.
[Pep] Of course emotion is so important
in the finals.
The big personalities, the characters.
But how you approach
the moment in the halftime,
how you overcome, how well you overcome,
if it's not a perfect first half,
because it's happened.
So the people are human beings.
They have the desire to do well,
to achieve it, to win it, to lift it.
[Haaland] Don't think, boys.
It's 0-0. Don't think.
No worries.

[Pep] Tactics is important.
Everything is in the final, you know.
The tactics have to be.
They have a game plan, but of course
[inhales] I would say, in the finals,
because the game plan
was already done for many years
because we play against that one team.
We've played many times
in the Premier League.
We knew exactly what to do.
What are you saying to me?
[indistinct chatter]
Yeah, yeah.
He will change it.
Don't worry. Don't think. Relax.
[Pep] Vale, guys.
Guys, five minutes and we go.
I remember the final against Chelsea.
At halftime I was more aggressive
with some players, and it didn't work.
[Pep talks animatedly]
The ball is there, the ball is there,
and we come back, the first line,
the first line,
when they press the ball, touch the ball.
Be strong.
It's a game for the greatest, guys!
For the big players!
All the chances they had
is when we lose the ball
because we were not strong enough
on the ball!
In the finals, there is not one player
that doesn't want to win and do it well.
And when that moment came by, okay guys,
we have 45 minutes, maybe extra time.
So stick what we we had.
I have to adjust something, we do it.
And come on, let's let's let's go.
So I I I control my emotions much better
than I was younger as a manager.
[exhales softly]
Guys, you are exceptional players, okay?
The final Champions League,
the way you feel is normal. Yes?
But we don't give up, and we go, go, go.
That's who we are. Okay?
We're going to adjust one or two things,
and it'll be much more effective.
You will see.
It's just we play
a little bit bit anxious.
Calm, guys, calm. I understand it.
Rodri, you are an exceptional player.
You are here,
but it doesn't matter you play sh.
Overcome that, heads up,
and play and play and play.
You lose the ball? Anyone can do it.
Okay, guys? We're going to move on.
Keep going, guys. We'll find the momentum.
[reporter] What did Pep say this week?
While it's 0-0,
Inter will feel like
they're winning this game.
What can City do in the second half
to finally break down
this stubborn Inter side?
And here's what they do.
A few times, Jack is here,
the space will be for Phil.
But what they do?
They close there,
and when the ball is there,
John is alone.
I know he jumps in that position.
They try to find John,
and after, Rodri is alone.
And when we are here,
try to find the balls in there.
Try to find the channels inside.
We cannot change. Stick to the program.
Make this two against one, John.
Make this two on one, John and Manu.
Phil, attack the channel with your energy.
Attack here in that position.
Okay? And Julián,
come on in the second half here.
The same actions.
Okay, guys?
