[Gene groans, coughs]
Please stop.
My father taught us
[in Greek] God rest his soul.
[in English]
If you wanted the truth from somebody,
you beat him almost to death
before you start asking questions.
It helps you understand
how fucking serious we are.
[gasps]
Just take what you want.
Now, where did you get this watch?
That watch is mine.
- [grunts]
- [groans]
- [sobs]
- [Nikos] Okay.
No, no, no! Savvas.
[Savvas in Greek]
I'll beat the fuck out of him!
[Nikos] Let the motherfucker speak!
- To hell with him!
- Come on.
Fuck!
[sobs]
[in English] This watch
belonged to my brother.
It was a gift.
[sobbing] It was a gift!
Either this kologliftis is lying
οr fucking Carlton is lying.
[suspenseful music playing]
Oh, God, no. [whimpers]
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
You know Carlton?
[sobs]
[Gene grunts]
- [in Greek] Okay, kid.
- I told you.
[Nikos in English]
Let's get Carlton in here
and find out what he knows.
[Savvas] Maybe his brother's in on it too.
[Nikos] If we need to,
we'll fucking kill 'em all.
Oh, we on Gene live, baby.
I wanna add somebody.
One sec, guys. One quick sec.
Ari's his name.
Ari's your fat brother.
The one who ended up in the dumpster.
He begged for mercy.
He begged.
[in Greek] Son of a bitch.
He's begging us to kill him.
[groans]
- [men grunting loudly]
- [dull thuds]
[ominous music playing]
- [men yelling in Greek]
- [thuds continue]
That's not gonna happen tonight.
So, get it out of your heads
He's now referred to
as "Behind the Scenes Gene."
It's big!
"Behind the Scenes Gene."
[Kid continues indistinctly]
Hey, come inside.
Come on.
Oh, shit.
[water running]
Did he say anything?
[Nikos] Look at him.
He confessed to killing our brother.
[gags]
Hey.
Thank you for helping us find him.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Look, Ari was my friend. You know?
Uh
Since y'all done what y'all did,
can we just get outta here, man?
Carlton's right. We should leave.
[in Greek] Should we
leave him or take him with us?
[Savvas] Leave the motherfucker,
to hell with him.
[in English] Grab his portofóli
and leave everything else.
Where is it?
[in Greek] How should I know?
Open your bloody eyes.
Carlton.
How'd you find out how to find this guy?
Can we talk about this
when we get out of this lot?
- Who told you?
- Hey, hey, hey.
[in Greek] Calm down, kid.
[in English] Look, you already
did the guy that did it, right?
The person
who told me about this Gene guy,
he don't know nothin'.
He was just doing me a favor.
He did me a favor, and he did it. That's
That's it.
He's got nothing to do with this.
[in Greek] Who knows?
[in English] Oh, shi
We're good. We're good.
Look, tonight you showed us
you're not the person we thought you were.
Lazy and arrogant.
Tonight you showed us
you're our brother's friend.
We appreciate that.
[police siren wailing in distance]
All right, we'll see you around, Carlton.
[ominous music builds]
[melancholic music playing]

He was joking. Chris took it wrong.
Mo, are we Are we kidding?
You let this man talk trash

That's a big fucking problem for me.
'Cause it's disrespectful.
- It's disrespectful!
- That's enough.
You understand why
he's wrong in what he did?
- It wasn't even like that.
- Seriously!
He made a bad joke,
he didn't even know Chris was there.
Yeah, I got it now. Really, in truth,
I don't give a fuck
if he was trying to be funny.
Last I checked, only one of us

He don't get paid
to make people laugh. I do!
So, it's disrespectful!
That's what it is. It's disrespectful!
You know it is.
To tell me I disrespect you
when I've stood by your side
more than anyone you've ever known
is straight bullshit.
I over-parent because you're too busy
out there trying to conquer the world.
I'm just trying to have a life. Okay?
The man made a mistake, that's it.
That's all.
Don't you ever disrespect me
and try to call me a bad parent.
I never called you a bad parent.
All right.
I'm sorry.
I apologize.
Look.
I will make him apologize to Christian.
But don't ever question my parenting.
Maybe y'all can just come out
to New York while I'm out there.
I think Christian would like that a lot.

the sequel out by next summer.

why I can't do it.
I have to put time in with my son.
Real time in, so I can't do it until fall.
I don't think Hemsworth's
gonna have a problem with that.
I hope so. But we need
to think about a compromise.
Because we have a lot to protect now.
Okay. What we need to protect is me.
Why do I have to tell you that, Todd?
If you don't understand that,
what good are you to me? Tell me.
What good are you to me?
- My son is my priority.
- [knocking on door]
Make the studio understand that.
If they don't,
then I don't do the fucking movie.
It's that simple.

would like to speak with you.

Yes, but let me make this very clear,
the reason why I took him to the event
was because earlier in the week,
I was an asshole to him.
And Let me rephrase that.
Not an asshole, like an asshole.
It was I wasn't myself. All right?
I was a different version of myself,

I'm gonna talk to the studio.

We're gonna make sure.
Hey, Hersch.
- You wanna go to his place?
- No. The restaurant.
[Herschel] You got it.
