Zero Love
1
Jess.
Hey.
Are you okay?
I hope your mother is okay.
Thankfully her injuries aren't serious.
Not very deep.
I still don't understand why
my mother would hurt herself, La.
I should've been more brave.
I should've been there for my mother, La.
Don't do that. You can't blame yourself.
For now,
just focus on taking care of your mother.
Okay?
MEDICAL PROCEDURES STATEMEN
Listen.
I had a discussion with the others
about cancelling
the screening of Titik Nol.
We could use the budget
for the screening venue
to help with your mother's hospital bill.
Thank you so much, La.
It's okay.
Calm down. It's okay.
Thank you, La.
You are the best.
My friend.
How is it, La?
All done.
Thanks for helping Jessica.
So the screening is
officially cancelled, right?
-Sure.
-Yes, it's okay.
As long as everything's fine
with Jessica and Mrs. Vera.
-Ute and I will go now.
-Okay.
Take care.
-Thank you.
-Sure.
Take care.
Bye.
What is it?
Nothing, La.
It's just,
I already told Mr. Yandi
about our screening.
But, it's okay.
No reason to force it.
Right, your IKM project!
Okay then
just give the movie to
Mr. Yandi for your scoring.
Isn't it done?
Where do we
go now, Mom?
Where else can we go, honey?
Why don't you go to a psychologist?
What for, Jess?
I'm totally fine.
Mom.
Home is a place for us to
feel safe, not depressed.
Fine.
For now,
I want you to stay with Aunt Livia.
I will tell her.
Okay.
So how is it, sir?
It's sad, Jun.
How about my scholarship?
It's fine.
This is good enough for your IKM.
Jun.
I think it's a pity that
you cancelled the screening.
How about Cinebox?
After Jessica's situation is resolved,
of course.
Hey. So how is your mother?
I rushed here after getting your text.
Thank you, La.
I insisted that my mother
stay with a relative for now.
Okay, then?
La.
Before we created the movie Titik Nol,
you asked me to make a change together?
But everything would be useless,
if I kept things the way they are.
I want to continue with our screening, La.
-Are you sure?
-Yes.
The sooner, the better.
Let's do it here.
Cinebox.
Okay?
Okay.
Guys!
We will be doing a screening!
Here.
Cut!
More expressive!
Hi, everyone. What's up?
I hope everything's okay.
There!
Hello, everyone! What's up?
I'm showing you!
-Like this?
-Deal?
-Deal.
-Deal.
You know what?
-Hi!
-Reyhan!
See you at Cinebox! Okay?
FILM SCREENING TITIK NOL
Okay, done.
Awesome.
Finally.
-Finally.
-Where's Jun?
-Not yet.
-Hey!
-Hi, guys.
-About time.
-Hello, Granny.
-Granny.
She's been dolled up since dawn.
This outfit was originally
for Jun's graduation day.
But since this is a gala premier,
I decided to wear it today.
-It's pretty.
-Beautiful.
Please sit down. Jun will usher you.
Just here.
Let me fix your shirt.
Hello, sir. Ma'am.
Where are the others?
Jessica is on the way here.
Have you called her?
I have, but no answer.
I'm a bit anxious.
I don't see many people.
It's not about how many people watch.
It's about who they are.
That's true.
Guys, I'll go now.
Yes, sir.
Sir.
Hey, Jess.
-Sorry, I'm late.
-It's okay.
-Thanks for coming, ma'am.
-You're welcome.
Thank you for coming.
Let's start.
Let's go, Mom.
I have to stand on stage.
Thank you.
Good morning, everyone.
I want to express our gratitude
to everyone for coming here
to watch our film,Titik Nol.
And right here we have
the whole crew of Titik Nol.
So, I have here our producer, Lala.
Hello, everyone.
Thank your very much for coming.
I hope you enjoy the movie.
This movie is dedicated to
our beloved families.
Happy viewing.
Move! Move aside.
Give way!
What movie is it?
Why did I never see it
posted on social media?
Right? So many people watching.
-Move aside!
-Give way!
-Give way!
-Hey, what the heck!
-Come on!
-Don't you!
-Relax!
-Shut up!
No space!
Your head!
How do you feel, Mom?
You're asking what I feel?
By the way Listen.
You know what?
I thought all this time
I avoided divorce for you.
But it's all just excuses.
And all these years
I was too weak to face my own fears.
Thank you, honey.
-Thank you.
-Me too.
-Okay, enough crying.
-Yes, enough.
-Let's be happy.
-Yes.
Where should we go?
-Wherever you want.
-Wherever I want?
-Let's play some music.
-Sure.
-Okay, let's go!
-Let's go!
Do you know why this song became a hit?
Why?
Because I made the song
for someone special,
who is beside me now.
But, it's a pity.
After the separation,
we kept drifting apart.
Distance makes it harder
to create a hit song.
What are you talking about?
Granny?
Is something wrong with your eyes?
Jun.
Thank you very much
for bringing me along to watch your movie.
Jun.
If only you parents were still here.
They would be so proud of you, Jun.
My pride, my Jun.
Awesome!
Jessica!
Okay, that was the movie Titik Nol.
How is was everyone?
Such a great movie, right?
Of course it's great
with me as the editor. So
Without further ado,
let's call the producer Lala Ardianto.
Jessica Patricia and Reyhan as directors.
Ute Maharani as actor.
Jun Pradana as art director.
And lastly, me as the editor!
Okay, let's start the panel.
Can you share with us
how the movie Titik Nol came together,
who developed the idea
and what was the process?
Okay.
Actually the idea for Titik Nol
came from our director and writer.
Here she is, Jessica.
It was quite an old idea. Right, Jess?
Here. Please share the story.
The film Titik Nol
is about love and bravery.
It's very common
for all of us to have fears.
Fear of the challenges in life.
Fear of disappointment.
Fear of causing disappointment.
Fear of changes.
Fear of starting something over
and facing uncertainty.
I wrote this movie
when I had some problems
that made me frustrated,
even mentally shaken.
I fell into depression.
Hating myself
because I couldn't give courage
to the people I love.
But because of experiencing that
I became aware
when we let go of that fear
we are much more able
to appreciate our zero point
which is ourselves and our own families.
So, thank you so much
my friends
my family
and everyone who gave me the courage
to be able to make this film.
Hopefully this film
can continue to remind us all
to love ourselves with courage.
Thank you.
I have to go. I'll come back later.
-I'll be back later.
-Okay.
-Be careful.
-Bye.
-Be careful, Ni.
-Yes.
-Let's eat.
-Come on.
-Where are you going?
-We want to eat.
Don't be gone for too long.
La.
Please don't apologize.
I want to say thank you.
Thank you for making this come true.
I should be the one thanking you.
What would I do without you?
I'm the one who is more grateful.
I'm the one who thanks you,
because you have helped me a lot.
This feels like Thanksgiving.
Dear.
I'm sorry I realized too late.
We'll treat the wounds one by one, Mom.
Mr. Jagat, how big was your role
in the film Titik Nol?
To answer that question, wait a moment.
-Rey. Reyhan.
-Rey.
Come here.
Why don't you ask this person directly?
He owns the film.
I'm just a proud parent
because I have a son like him.
Go ahead.
-Your mother and I have to go.
-Yes, Dad.
-Mom.
-I'm going home.
You guys are amazing. Congratulations.
-Thank you, sir.
-Thank you, sir.
There is something I want to say to you.
What is it?
Yesterday, the campus asked me
to recommend one best short film
to be screened openly in cinemas.
I think Titik Nol
deserves a wider audience.
So, if I may
I would like to recommend Titik Nol.
Do you agree?
-Agreed!
-Of course!
Ical is smiling very broadly.
-Do you agree?
-Yes, sir.
-Congratulations again.
-Thank you, sir.
Ni!
Ni!
Ni, I got a letter from campus.
-Let me see.
-My scholarship got extended.
Where? I can't see it.
Here it is.
-You're right.
-Sure.
Thank God! Finally!
I hope you get
your bachelor's degree soon, Jun.
Sure. Thanks.
Hey.
Whose photos are you looking at?
Jung? Jujung?
Jun.
Okay, Junaedi, Jonathan, whatever.
I agree. He's a good person.
I didn't ask for your approval.
You said it was a one hit wonder.
-You make it your ringtone.
-Shut up.
Old love blossoms again.
What did you call me for?
"Screening at the cinema tomorrow.
We can go together."
"I'll pick you up."
"But our houses are not
in the same direction."
"No problem, I will pick you up."
"At 8:15 a.m., don't be late."
"Alright, Producer."
What's wrong with you?
Nothing.
Is this your new motorbike?
Cool.
I called him Turbo, to speed up.
-Come on.
-Come on.
Wait.
What are you doing? Am I driving?
No, I don't want the seat to get hot.
Alright. Come on.
This is cool. Best buy of the year.
Thank you, La.
You have reminded me
to be self-rewarding.
Maybe I've been
too hard on myself all this time.
Now it's time for me to enjoy
the results of my hard work.
Good boy.
La!
Be careful.
-Bye, Mom.
-Bye.
Let's go.
Just follow the directions from the app.
Don't forget to give me five stars.
Stop it.
Don't speed.
-Bye.
-Bye.
We came too early. No one has arrived yet.
There's no one here.
It's okay. Better too soon than too late.
Thank you so much for everything, Jun.
Sorry if I used to underestimate you.
What about now?
I enjoyed working with you, Jun.
I'm glad we can stay together like this.
I want to be
together with you
in the future.
I think I love you.
Why do you love someone
with a zero rating?
Have I changed now?
I used to think that life
should be that straight forward, Jun.
But as time goes by
I feel there is something wrong with me.
Even though I don't know what my life
will be like in the future.
It's okay. Life doesn't have
to match my expectations.
Not everything has to be
assessed with numbers.
Because
many surprising things
are more meaningful.
Well.
I didn't think we'd make it this far.
Life is always full of surprises.
What are we going to do next?
Whatever, as long as
it's with you, I'll go.
-Great.
-Why do I feel a little nervous?
-Are you ready?
-Come on.
-Okay.
-Alright.
Please welcome with loud applause
the talented young stars
behind the short film Titik Nol,
who will be the new voices
in our film industry.
Jess.
