The judge asked the remaining 11
if they'd reached any decisions.

On three of the five counts,
they unanimously found
Aaron Knodel not guilty.
The judge declared a mistrial
on the two remaining charges.
Prosecutors later dismissed them.
Knodel was free to go back to teaching.
For work missed during the
investigation and trial,
the school board awarded
him full back pay.
