[Ben] Every year, my class puts on a play.
But I've never had a speaking part
Eh 'Cause I get too nervous.
So I usually play
I kinda play scenery. Like, when we did
Sleeping Beauty, I was a tree.

I was thinking, maybe this year
I'll, uh, try for a speaking part?
Why not? You couldn't be
any worse than Stephanie.
Ah! It's the dragon!
We are doomed,
unless I, Merlin the Magician,
can summon my magic.

This was a really dumb idea.
Everybody's got a thing ♪
But some don't know how to handle it ♪
Always reaching out in vain ♪
Just diggin' the things

and you're lost in the deep, dark forest.

the knights who are protecting you

Amazing acting!
Everyone, we've found our Merlin!
[chuckles] I'm so proud of you, Benny.
Merlin the Magician?
And you've got some actual speaking lines?
So many. More than anyone.
And who are you gonna be, Angie?
I'm the scary dragon.

[Ella giggling]
Maybe I should ask Ms. Hernandez
for a smaller part?
Doing something new is always scary,
but I know you'll be great. I really do.
Everybody needs a change ♪
A chance to check out the new ♪
And you're the only one to see ♪
The changes you take yourself through ♪

it's just a rehearsal.
So, it doesn't matter
if you don't know all your lines.

I didn't realize this was a comedy.

Why wasn't I happy just playing scenery?

for a room full of paintbrushes, right?
