[uplifting music]
[sobs with relief]

[theme music]
[gentle music]
[Anna] We thought we'd lost you.
[Lauren] I thought you'd lost me too.
[Stevie] We looked everywhere for you.
We thought the lighthouse was broken.
[all laugh]
Look at your lovely face!
You have missed so much!
We met Leonid Komarov.
I knew he'd come!
-Hayden and I broke up.

And Anna and Brad broke up too.

[up-beat fiddle music]

[Izzie laughs] The name!

The Princess Anastasia!
[all gasp]
Lauren, there's something else
we forgot to tell you about.
Mercy was the Princess Anastasia
in hiding.

[mysterious music]

Now that we're all together,
I have to tell you something.
I did the Russian wreck dive.
We know. We did it too.

I found a jewel on the wreck.
-The Midnight brooch.
-[Anna] We found it.

-And then it got stolen.
And then we found the Meridian necklace
and the Nightingale bracelet.
-The Sapphire crown is all that's left.
-And who really knows where that is?
You guys have really put it all together.
I recognised the Midnight brooch
for what it was immediately.
And I'd read enough of Leonid's book
to know
that a treasure that valuable
attracts all kinds of trouble.
Then someone broke into my room
trying to find it,
so I hid the Midnight brooch.
-In the wetsuit, where Izzie found it.
-And then what happened?
I was taken by a masked figure.
That's when I realised
I wasn't the only one
searching for the missing Russian jewels.
-Anna, can you translate this?
-It's in Russian.
I found it at your house
in your grandmother's library.
It's Anastasia's diary.
[gasps]
I could only translate parts of it.
"June 24th, 1918.
We set sail from Saint Petersburg.
I wonder if I shall ever
see my country again.
I hope my people don't forget me."
"July 12th, 1918.
Our ship is being followed
by a large vessel with dark sails.
I have an ominous feeling."
"July 17th, 1918.
I saw her today.
She stood on the prow of her ship.
We are so close,
I could see the wild,
red tendrils of her hair
and those piercing blue eyes.
I know she's after me
and the cargo I carry."
"July 19th.
We struck the reef.
[baby cries]
Our ship sank to the ocean floor.
I was afraid, but it was my duty
to guide my people to safety.
I knew there was hope
when through the darkness
we discovered an uncharted island."

[sombre music]

"Here lies the hero of Cape Mercy,
Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna
of Russia,
who fell guiding her fellow passengers to
safety after the attack by the 'Nemesis'."
[shouting]
[fire crackles]
[shouting in Russian]
Didn't your mother tell you
not to touch things that aren't yours?
[Anastasia] Leave him alone.

You might be royalty back in Russia,
but here, all alone in the sand,
you're nothin'
but another terrified little face
shakin' under my blade.
Where are the jewels?
You will find it's a bit harder to win
without the Imperial Army
standing behind ya.

[dramatic music]
[sword blades clink]
[hushed murmuring]
[Maddie] "The Princess fought valiantly
against a most contemptible
pirate captain."
"A pirate who took the Princess's life
and identity.

Princess Anastasia was buried in secret
by her loyal subjects."
There's one more entry.
"July 20th, 1918.
My faithful valet and maid sat with me
in these last hours.
I am heartbroken that I have lost
the last of my family's crown jewels.
I have only the Sapphire crown left.
I hope someday
someone reunites all the jewels
and the happy memories
of my family, my friends,
my adventures, that they represent.
It is the end.
But I have had more love and warm days
than others
who have had twice my lifetime.
"Ya ne boyus'."
"I am not afraid."
[jewels tinkle]
[all gasp]
-The Sapphire crown!
-She hid it in her dress.
[laughs]
[melancholy music]
This changes Cape Mercy forever.
What do you mean?
Salvation Day, the tourism
it's all based on
the Volkov family history.
I mean, this completely rewrites
the story you've all been told.
Babushka told me we are the descendants
of the royal family!
That's why she had
the Nightingale bracelet.
Anna, there were no descendants
of the Princess Anastasia.

[dramatic music]

[fire crackles]

[grunts]

[cheerful fiddle music]
[gentle music]
-[Hayden] I knew you'd come.
-[Stevie] Who says I'm here to see you?
[laughs]
[gentle music continues]
[eerie music]
[thunder rumbles]
[dramatic music]

-Come on.
-Stevie!
Anna, wait for us.
[dramatic music]

[sobs]
This doesn't change anything
about who you are.
It changes everything.
I always knew something
was being kept from me.
[Maddie] We're being dragged out
by the current. We should turn back!
It made sense! It made sense.
[fire roars]
-Anna, stop. Stop!
-You're going too far out!
-Please, please stop.
-Oh.
-What?
-Fire!
[dramatic music]
[all gasp]
The Meridian necklace!
-We have to go back and get it!
-It's not there.

Fire! Fire!

[cheering]
[fireworks explode]
[melancholy music]
[Lauren] We need to rig the boat
or we won't be able to pilot ourselves in!
The flare!

-Huh?
[eerie music]
Guys, isn't that the Volkov yacht?
Hayden?
Hayden, what are you doing?
Hayden, call the fire department!
The clubhouse is on fire!
Anna, get in.
-Anna, come on.
-[Anna] Why?

-Hayden, what is going on?
-[Viktorya] Anna.

onto the boat.

[fireworks explode distantly]
[Leonid groans]
[Viktorya] Looks as if you aren't quite
as indestructible as you like to appear.
[chuckles]

[Leonid] It's a very unusual recipe.
[fireworks explode]
There will always be pirates, Maddie.
To find the Russian crown jewels

[suspenseful music]

I'm sorry.

I'm just making sure I'm tying this right.
[Viktorya] My ancestor was captain
of the most feared vessel in history.
She made a promise to find those jewels,
and I am not going to let four girls
get in the way of keeping that promise.
You'll never find the Sapphire crown.
[thunder rumbles]
[dramatic music]

[Maddie] You can't leave us here!
There's a storm brewing!
[all shout]
[glass breaks]
