Die Fast, Die Furious

[Energetic instrumental music.]
[People chattering and cheering.]
[Elevator bell dings.]
[People chattering.]
[Energetic instrumental music continues.]
GASSNER: My employer was a little how should I say that vexed at your disappearance.
- He was never really fond of me.
- I know.
But he was attached to his $5 million.
What are you gonna do, Gassner, shoot me? Here, in a crowded casino? [Fast-paced instrumental music.]
[Grunting.]
[Machine gun firing.]
[Fast-paced instrumental music continues.]
[Gun clicking.]
[Laughing.]
And, cut! Tim, I cannot work like this, man.
TIM: Where's my prop guy? Bates, get it together.
Going again.
Jean-Claude, great work.
We can use it all.
We'll just cut away.
[Jean-Claude sighs.]
MAN: Peter, check the gate, please.
Putting blanks in a gun.
How hard is that? Thank you.
WOMAN: Yeah, just get some powder on her.
JEAN-CLAUDE: Ed! How are you? ED: Hey, J.
C.
JEAN-CLAUDE: How you doing? Damn, you look good.
Thank you.
- Danny McCoy.
One of my boys.
- Danny, how are you? Nice to meet you.
Big fan.
You need anything WOMAN: Mr.
Van Damme.
- Sorry, guys.
- Yeah.
ED: Don't embarrass me here.
Hey.
So, Jean-Claude, how'd you get started, you know, in the biz? I came from Belgium.
I didn't speak any English.
I didn't know anybody.
So I went to a producer, and I said I should be a star.
[Chuckles.]
JEAN-CLAUDE: He said, "Why?" I said, "Because" Sorry.
Stuff like this, you know? JEAN-CLAUDE: Hey, that's scary, huh? DANNY: That's good.
You know what, Time Cop.
Time Cop was one of my favourites.
I've got to go.
We'll talk later.
Okay.
All right.
The sequel sucked, but, you know Yeah, I was gonna do some print modelling after school take some acting classes, you know.
- Kind of get into the - Shut up.
[Theme music.]
SAM: Thanks, Frank.
Okay, here's to the cosmo-drinking, Cosmo-reading airheads.
BOTH: Screw them.
SAM: That's rough.
NESSA: Enough of this relationship talk.
You were supposed to be my wingman tonight.
What? Did you say "wingman"? Who is that? SAM: That is Jonathan Tam Green Valley's new host.
- He just got transferred from A.
C.
- A rival.
NESSA: You know what? It looks like he knows you, too.
I think I should give you some room.
You know that I [Sam clears throat.]
Hi.
JONATHAN: Hi.
Samantha, right? SAM: Yes.
I thought I'd run into you here tonight.
Jonathan Tam.
SAM: I know.
JONATHAN: You do? [Jonathan chuckles.]
You know, I don't think there's any reason we have to be adversaries, Sam.
JONATHAN: I think we could be friends good friends with privileges.
[Beeping.]
I don't think so.
SAM: Oh, Jonathan.
Stay away from the Montecito and my clients.
[Fast-paced rock instrumental music.]
DANNY: Junior Gomez! DANNY: There he is.
Good to see you.
Mike Cannon.
MIKE: Hey, how you doing? DANNY: So you're a stuntman now? After the corps what else was I gonna do? DANNY: Van Damme at the Montecito.
Pretty cool, huh? Dinner was amazing, Jean-Claude.
I'm having a great time, too.
I've been meaning to ask you.
Gosh, never mind.
Come on, ask me.
Anything.
Can you still do you know, the splits? [Fast-paced rock instrumental music continues.]
Can't stand the guy, but a gig's a gig.
MIKE: Damn, I've never seen Delinda look at some guy like that before this.
I'm sure she has before.
It's just I never saw it.
So what's his deal anyway? We worked three pictures together.
We just bump heads.
I can't stand him.
He can't stand me.
It happens.
What are you gonna do? So, what is your specialty, cars, explosions? Anything high.
It's the high falls that pay the bills.
MIKE: How high is high? JUNIOR: I'll tell you what.
I'll take you up to the prep site and show you what high is.
Check this out.
It's our big chase climax.
The hero outruns a dozen Yakuza by riding his bike off the roof and parachuting to the ground.
DANNY: Why is there a motorcycle on the roof? Who cares? It's gonna be a great stunt.
How fast you need to be going when you hit the ramp? The bike will get up to 40.
I'll hit the ramp, the bike will fall off and this bungee will snap me right back up.
They'll add the chute in special effects later.
You nervous? [Wind howling.]
Fifty floors.
I can't wait.
[People chattering.]
TIM: I don't care, okay? I really, honestly, do not.
TIM: I'm not shooting the page, and I want a crane.
'Cause that's what was promised.
JEAN-CLAUDE: Hey, Valentine.
TIM: What? - Good morning, Jean-Claude.
- Morning.
You told me I could get first crack on the stunts all of them.
What a beautiful woman.
Would you please excuse us? You don't have to.
Oh, no.
It's fine.
I know you guys have important business to discuss.
So I'll just be over with Danny.
Look, this is a very intricate and very dangerous stunt.
And while I have complete faith in your abilities as an actor - when it comes to the stunts, I can't afford - I thought you'd pull this.
- What? - I talked to Kleem.
What, the studio president? You must really be feeling insecure.
He's coming over.
I'll try the stunt first, or you find a new job, okay? Well, you two seem awfully chummy.
You know, you just don't meet a lot of people with that star quality.
DANNY: Star quality, huh? You know the most amazing thing? It's completely effortless.
Look, Kleem, I cannot run this stunt with Jean-Claude! Tim.
KLEEM: I agree with you 100%.
TIM: Great.
KLEEM: Okay? TIM: Where's Adam? Hold on there, J.
C.
Come here.
What did I say when you took this job? The director's not the boss here, you are.
- You're gonna do the stunt, big guy.
- Good.
- Makes you happy? Yeah? - It's normal.
Good.
Happy.
[People chattering.]
SAM: Excuse me.
Hi.
Mr.
Adams, Mrs.
Adams.
You two enjoying your stay? Yes, we are, Sam.
The butler was a nice touch.
ADAMS: You're always surprising me.
Well, I try.
We'd love to have you and Stacie as our guest tonight at Mystique.
SAM: We'll set you up a table.
MRS.
ADAMS: Stacie? Did I just say Stacie? I am so sorry.
That's one of my other clients.
- You're still seeing that bitch? - No.
It's a mistake.
Yes, it was my mistake, Mrs.
Adams.
MRS.
ADAMS: You'll hear from my attorney.
Listen, sweetheart.
Wait just one minute.
- What, are you kidding me? - I am so sorry.
You mention my girlfriend in front of my wife? ADAMS: You know the damage you've done? SAM: Absolutely.
I could explain to her that Stacie is just one of my other clients - and this is all my fault.
- You're right.
We're leaving.
No, Mr.
Adams.
That's supposed to be All right.
Okay.
What? SAM: Mike, what is wrong with this? MIKE: I'm sorry.
I'm running late.
We've got, like, 200 cars moving out right now.
No, it's important.
Look at this.
Look.
Everything's all screwed up.
You see? I have Mr.
Adams' girlfriend as his wife here.
And this guy.
You know him.
He's never bet over $100 a hand.
I have him down as a full RFB comp.
MIKE: Okay, where were you at 1:57 a.
m.
Today? Last night I was at Whiskey Sky with Nessa.
Why? What At 1:57 a.
m.
, someone used an infrared port to download information from your PDA.
Jonathan Tam.
This is impressive.
Then they used a randomiser program to alter your information.
Wait a second.
Who knows how to do stuff like that? - Wait.
Can you teach me that? - I sure can, but not now.
I gotta go.
MIKE: Be more careful with that thing.
SAM: What do you mean, "Be more careful"? This is war.
MAN: Move back about six to eight in the scope.
You're in the edge of the frame.
I've been prepping this stunt for weeks.
I should be on that bike.
You should be doing whatever I tell you.
Have you prepped Van Damme? It's a bad idea.
Yeah? I don't pay you for your opinion.
So either you make this stunt work with Van Damme, or you get off my set.
Okay? [Cell phone ringing.]
This is the behind-the-scenes movie-magic stuff, huh? - Hey, thanks again for letting me chill here.
- No worries, man.
I design the stunt, rig it, fly my ass out here and now I gotta show Mr.
Movie Star how to let out a clutch.
Remember what I said about wanting his job? Scratch that.
MAN: It's a one-shot deal.
Let's get it right.
It's all on a track, man.
All you gotta do is hold on.
It'll take you up to 40 miles per hour.
You hit the ramp, then just let go of the handlebars.
JEAN-CLAUDE: How high is the jump? JUNIOR: It's 50 floors.
JEAN-CLAUDE: Fifty floors.
JUNIOR: Hey, it'll be cool.
Just make sure when you let go throw your arms out so they can get the money shot of your face.
Right.
TIM: Junior, we're ready down here.
On your mark.
JEAN-CLAUDE: Step aside.
DANNY: You ready? All right.
MAN: Jocco, clear them out of there.
Ed.
It's Danny.
We're ready up here.
DANNY: Okay, I'll let him know.
JOCCO: Right over here, guys.
DANNY: You're the man, J.
C.
JOCCO: Come on.
DANNY: See you at the bottom.
[Heavy metal instrumental music.]
MAN: Okay, marker.
[Engine revving.]
[Tyres screeching.]
TIM: And action! Wait.
No, wait! [Tense instrumental music.]
[Air whooshing.]
[Gasps.]
[Jacket ripping.]
[Crashing.]
WOMAN 1: We'll miss you, Jean-Claude Van Damme.
WOMAN 2: You were the greatest.
WOMAN 3: We love you.
[Solemn instrumental music.]
[Cameras clicking.]
FALVEY: Breathe in and out.
FALVEY: Excellent.
[Sobbing.]
I'm so sorry we couldn't get you more help, Dr.
Falvey.
I know this is a nightmare.
I can set a leg, do an emergency trach with a drinking straw - but grief counselling for half the hotel? - I know.
FALVEY: We have grief counsellors in the convention hall.
FALVEY: Is anybody experiencing physical symptoms? DANNY: So Delinda's not taking this too well.
Well, she had a relationship with the guy.
She's very upset.
A relationship? I've bet on horse races that ran longer.
- Danny.
- Luis, how's the investigation going? I've got over a hundred crewmembers to interview.
Mary, can you tell my forensics team where to set up? - Yeah, sure.
Right this way.
- Come on, guys.
All right.
Let's go, fellows.
- Hey.
- Hey.
DANNY: Sad.
NESSA: Really sad.
So, I hear you survived another Girls Gone Wild weekend.
- Bugger off, Danny.
Nothing happened.
- That's not what I heard.
I don't know why you're so fascinated with our little get-togethers.
DANNY: I'm not fascinated.
You are.
We just do the things women do.
You know, knit, bake cookies, talk about old flames, speaking of which DANNY: Mary and Luis? NESSA: Didn't they have a thing together? NESSA: Anyway, I better get back.
The biggest movie star may have died, but the bets will keep on rolling.
TIM: I told you we should not run the stunt with him.
"I agree with you 100%, Tim.
" That's what you said, isn't it? - Can you shut up for a minute? - I would think we are screwed completely! - Stop, all right? - Do you realise what this means? KLEEM: We just keep it going.
We'll hire a body double.
We'll CGI some stuff.
All right? Hey.
What's your name? Eddie? We're gonna need the casino floor tomorrow, okay? It's Ed.
ED: And I told you there's no more shooting until the investigation's over.
Your casino owner, Brunson, he gave us his personal guarantee we could keep shooting.
And so you can, but not until I say so.
[Chuckles.]
Okay.
Hold on.
[Clears throat.]
Let me put this in terms you'll understand, Ed.
KLEEM: What you make in a year that's how much we lose every minute we stand here with our thumbs up our butts.
It looks like you're gonna be losing a lot of money, Kleem.
ED: What, honey? I wanted you to know I'm thinking of taking a few days off.
I just need some time to grieve.
- What? - For Jean-Claude.
I understand.
- Thanks, Dad.
- Okay.
Didn't you guys just meet on Tuesday? [Soft music playing.]
Sam.
- Morning.
- Morning.
- Do you know what you're getting into? - What are you talking about? Data from my PDA was scrambled.
You're the only jackass dumb enough to try something like that.
So my question is: Do you know what you're getting yourself into? - Let's say I did it.
- Okay.
Let's say that.
It's nothing you wouldn't have done in your much, much younger days.
I wouldn't have been caught.
Here's the thing, Jonathan.
If you use any of that information you stole you're gonna find yourself back hustling slot players in Reno.
I'm sorry.
Reno's too good for you.
You're a Laughlin boy.
TIM: All right, set up a long tracking shot, right? TIM: Following the body double.
Use a 30.
I want every showgirl in the valley in here.
I want every inch of this frame filled with breasts.
TIM: And where for the love of God is my apple fritter? I can't Excuse me.
You can't walk between the pits.
Well, I hate to argue with you, gorgeous, but watch me.
Valentine.
Get out now, please.
Eddie.
Doesn't that aging-mob-boss act ever get old? You call me Eddie again, and you're gonna be eating that through a straw.
Come on, Eddie.
Don't ever touch me again.
Now come on.
Now say, "I'm sorry, ma'am.
" I'm sorry, ma'am.
Look, this is a bad idea, Eddie.
- Are you an actor? - Me? No.
Well, I thought about it.
No.
You have excellent bone structure.
With the right agent, you could be the next John Stamos.
Really? TIM: Natalie.
NATALIE: Gotta go.
- All right.
Yeah.
- See you.
NESSA: Your blonde friend was a B-actress who couldn't get any work until she became Mrs.
Valentine.
- Yeah.
It's funny, that.
- Yeah.
What are you doing? You're not working today? No, I'm doing a favour for a girlfriend.
See you later.
[Cell phone ringing.]
Yeah? MAN: We're checking security footage for the cops.
It's probably nothing, but you might wanna take a look.
All right.
I'm on my way.
[Sensuous instrumental music.]
Bri, get these gentlemen a bottle of Johnny Blue and anything else they want.
Yes, sir.
I'll be right back, friends.
- I'm sorry.
- Hey, didn't I see you at the club with Sam? Oh, yes.
With Sam.
That's right.
It's just like her to keep you all to herself.
Yeah, now I remember.
You couldn't keep your eyes off me.
[Chuckling.]
Well, I wouldn't put it that way.
Yeah, like there was something about me you just had to have.
Oh, yeah? Like my PDA? Nice try.
Hand it over.
Thanks.
JONATHAN: A pickpocket? Tell Sam I'm disappointed.
I expected better.
[Sensuous instrumental music continues.]
JONATHAN: She took my clients.
Oh, my God.
[People chattering.]
DANNY: Everything's good? GUEST: Yeah.
How are you, man? Been a while.
JUNIOR: McCoy.
It's about time.
Gonna have that drink? No, I can't.
Could I get a water? - How you doing? - I'm good.
You told Det.
Perez you were prepping the night before the stunt.
[Junior sighs.]
Yeah.
DANNY: Our camera footage shows you left the casino that night and every other night which isn't exactly what you told the cops.
What bugs me is that you left through the kitchen like you didn't wanna be seen.
- What the hell's up with that? - Doesn't concern you, McCoy.
Come on, man.
I don't wanna get in your business but somebody died on the hotel property and that does concern me.
I'm seeing this chick.
The most beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime babe.
She just happens to be married.
It's a big crew.
You know, word gets around fast.
Hey, we served together.
Boot camp, the whole deal.
I wouldn't lie to you.
Okay.
Okay.
So we're cool? Yeah.
You're not gonna go running to the cops or anybody else, are you? [Chuckles.]
Guys, check this out.
What you got? What you got going here? A little show and tell? MIKE: I had a couple of hours to kill, so I built a virtual model of the stunt.
They're giving you too much time off here.
I heard the stunt tech say the ramp was set too high.
This was supposed to be the highest point of the jump.
But he ended up here.
MIKE: The higher apex added to the velocity of his descent, causing the harness to snap.
The thing is, the ramp wasn't off by enough to drive the bike that high.
In order to reach this height, he had to be going at least 65 miles per hour.
The thing is, we saw how short the runway was.
That bike couldn't have done more than 40.
Somebody maybe messed with that engine? That's what I'm thinking.
Who had access to the bike? The stunt coordinator, Valentine the director and the stunt man.
ED: The stunt man a buddy of yours? DANNY: Yeah.
What's the deal with him? He hated Van Damme.
And he lied about his whereabouts to the cops.
But he had an explanation.
I can talk to him.
I guess we gotta have a little conversation with Luis.
Gentlemen, we've got some new information.
- What a coincidence.
So do we.
Speak.
- The wiring was off.
The reading on the ramp angle was 30 degrees when it should have said 42.
INVESTIGATOR: His harness had - but at that speed - They're officially ruling it an accident.
LUIS: Yeah? We're not.
Metro hasn't concluded its investigation.
We have no concrete evidence, but we've got reason to suspect foul play.
- Foul play? - Yeah.
Are you deaf? The guy just said it was a broken wire.
You'll hold up my production 'cause you think someone in your crack squad knows better than an insurance investigator? We're just trying to figure out what happened.
Who the hell are you? Was I talking to you? Did I say, "Nimrod, why don't you tell us what you think"? No.
Shut up.
DANNY: All right, that's it.
ED: I got this.
Listen.
You're one big jerk.
You can talk to your people in Hollywood any way you like.
But when you're in my house [Kleem choking.]
You will treat my people with respect.
Is that clear? Good.
[Coughing.]
[Lively rock instrumental music.]
Mr.
Woodlief.
Hello, I thought you two were staying the week.
Sam, honey.
I meant to tell you.
It's my mama.
She's sick.
Spastic colon, you know.
Doctor said she could go any minute.
[Sobbing.]
Oh, my goodness.
Mr.
Woodlief, I'm so sorry.
SAM: You must be so shocked especially since your mother's been dead a couple of years now, right? All right, you got me.
I'm going over to Green Valley.
Their casino host told me that at my level of play I should be getting Celine tickets minimum.
You know what the last tickets I got here were for? Lord of the Dance.
They don't even move their arms.
SAM: Mr.
Woodlief.
If you want Celine, you've got Celine, front row, centre.
It's been a ball, Sam, but it's over.
- Let's move it out! - Mr.
Woodlief.
Mrs [Knocking on door.]
I got a call from a Det.
Perez, says he wants to talk to me.
You know what that's about? Yeah.
They think someone might have tampered with the bike.
And you gave them my name? What the hell, McCoy? I thought we were cool.
DANNY: It's no secret you hated Van Damme.
You had access to the bike, and you lied to the cops.
If there's something you're not telling me, now is the time.
[Junior sighs.]
Yeah.
Don't make the mistake of trusting an old Marine buddy.
Look, our insurance investigators have officially ruled it an accident.
But Vegas Metro are just taking much longer to come to the same conclusion.
REPORTER: Do you suspect foul play? I don't know.
I feel that we owe the Van Damme family a sense of closure and a speedy resolution out of this, please.
[Reporters clamouring.]
MARY: Hi.
DANNY: Could I talk to you for a second? Yeah.
- I heard something.
- What? You and Luis? That you two were, you know While I was in the Marines.
I did a lot of things while you were in the Marines, Danny.
Were you ever gonna mention any of this to me? Okay.
Let's see.
I also gave up red meat.
Santana had a very brief, little comeback.
President Clinton Did you hear this one? He almost got impeached messing around with an intern.
- We about caught up now? - You know what I'm talking about.
You've been knocking me over the head with guilt [Cell phone ringing.]
Yeah? I'll be right there.
I have to go.
ED: Danny.
DANNY: Yeah? - Speak to your friend? - Yeah.
And? I hate to admit this, but I think I should watch him.
As a matter of fact, I was thinking about staking him out.
Wow, really, huh? What do you know about staking out people? What's there to know? You sit in your car, follow them around, eat doughnuts.
- Well, where's Junior now? - He's being questioned.
I'll tell you what, after he's finished I'll go with you on the stakeout thing.
Maybe we'll order pizza, make a night of it? Or not? Whatever.
[Ed laughing.]
ED: Okay.
[Camera zoom whirring.]
You know, I haven't spent that much time at home.
The days seem to be getting longer and longer and with the new added responsibilities I've got I'm gonna need someone to step up real soon.
ED: So, what are your plans, Danny? DANNY: My plans? Yeah, your plans.
I mean, what do you see happening in the future? Well, I figure now that you're president I'll be handling a lot more - Handling? - Yeah.
Well, and you think you're ready for the responsibility? I mean, more importantly, do you think you'll be getting the respect that comes with being a boss? Is this because of the couple of times I've screwed up? Is it the women? I don't know.
I want you to be the one.
I really do, Danny.
I want it to be you.
But if the time comes, and you're not ready I'm gonna get someone else.
[Tyres screeching.]
[Suspenseful instrumental music.]
[Camera clicking.]
DANNY: It's the director's wife.
It's Mrs.
Valentine.
McCoy, Mr.
Deline.
It's a nice touch here.
What's this, like the Montecito's principal's office? Junior, we know you've been banging Tim Valentine's wife.
Don't get me wrong.
That sounds nice, you know, but ED: Cut the crap.
You know you're sleeping with her.
We know you're sleeping with her.
If I wanted to rob you I'd bet you anything that Valentine knows you're sleeping with her, all right? All right.
So what? We're having a thing.
It's for fun.
JUNIOR: Danny, the old man doesn't know.
He's so out of touch, he thought the ATM was a slot machine.
DANNY: You just don't get it.
That stunt was set up for failure.
It didn't matter who was along for the ride.
Whoever got on that bike was gonna die.
What do you mean? I was supposed to be on that bike.
Danny, tell the kid what he won.
That crazy son of a bitch rigged the stunt to kill me? We don't know that for sure but the opportunity and the motive was there.
I guess he wasn't that out of touch, huh? You gotta help me nail that son of a bitch, Mr.
Deline.
Whatever it takes, whatever you need me to do.
All right, we'll try.
Danny.
All right, for now, let's just pretend like everything's normal.
We'll let you know what we come up with.
ED: One other little thing.
Listen.
It's a real dangerous game you're playing, kid.
Get out of here.
[Tense instrumental music.]
- Sam.
Marty Bowen, impressive.
- I know.
I wondered who stole him away from the Palms last year.
Jonathan, you know you're not supposed to be here.
- I'll go ahead and call security.
- Wait.
Let's call this off, bury the hatchet.
Wow.
- What? - That was a pathetic try.
Look, I'm not giving in 'cause I think you're hot.
JONATHAN: I'm so busy thinking about your next move that I can't do my job.
- You think I'm hot? - So how about it? JONATHAN: I'll buy you dinner.
We'll call it even.
- 808 at Caesars? - Okay.
- Meet me at my suite? - Sounds great.
SAM: Okay.
JONATHAN: Okay.
Even if Valentine knew Junior was screwing his wife What is he, a moron? Of course he knew.
Still we got nothing.
I need some traction on this.
Metro's getting pressured.
Pressured? Look, you have to tighten the noose around this guy.
Take your time, man.
Even if he did it, he knows we can't prove anything.
He's not gonna give a confession.
Have you ever been so pissed off you thought your head was gonna explode? That's Valentine.
That's the kind of anger he has the kind of anger that all rationale goes out the window.
Thanks for the psychology lesson, Ed.
Wait.
Meet me in my office in about 30 minutes, okay? LUIS: No.
I've gotta get back.
ED: Thirty minutes.
Okay? [Elevator bell dings.]
JONATHAN: Sam? [Jonathan chuckles.]
- Hi.
- Hi.
You know, Shut up.
I mean, that's why the restaurant's called 808.
Shut up, please.
[Jonathan exhales loudly.]
[Jonathan moans.]
SAM: Have you ever been handcuffed before? Not quite that tight.
[Sam chuckles.]
[Jonathan exhales loudly.]
SAM: You know, Jonathan.
All's fair in love and war.
Oh, yeah.
And casino hosting.
What are you doing? JONATHAN: Sam! Sam, where you going? Candy, I left a little surprise in your suite for you.
[Sam chuckling.]
You talk to Mary? Well, I told that Valentine he could start shooting again, that jackass.
Yeah, I did talk to Mary and Junior.
LUIS: Hey, guys.
ED: You guys give me a second, please? - Could I talk to you? - Yeah.
So, I talked to Mary.
So I hear you guys used to date? Yeah, why? Isn't there some rule about dating your buddy's girl? - She wasn't your girl.
- She was kind of my girl.
Not that it matters, but it didn't go anywhere.
We had a few dates and she was into someone else.
ED: You ladies through? 'Cause, I'd really like to get to work.
DANNY: Sure.
Where's the sound guy? Ronnie Cogswell, are all these mikes on? 'Cause I am not hearing anything.
RONNIE: You should be getting it now, Mr.
Valentine.
Hey.
Dr.
Falvey, how's it going? I got a hundred pretentious film people walking around calling me Dr.
Vegas.
And the amount of Xanax these people go through.
It's staggering.
I gotta go.
That good, huh? Yeah, hi, Ed.
It's Mary.
Junior Gomez just left the blackjack table with Natalie Valentine.
MARY: Yeah, I'm positive.
They're heading for the elevators.
[Crewmembers chattering.]
[Ominous instrumental music.]
[Natalie breathing hard.]
