With this crazy dance of mine ♪

-[narrator] Macross 7 is
MACROSS 7 FLEE
a giant emigration fleet traveling the
galaxy in search of a habitable planet.
But the universe is
an unpredictable place.
GIGIL
Seven years after leaving Earth,
they were attacked by a mysterious enemy,
and City 7 was separated from the fleet.

This unknown enemy also uses the same
type of weapons and fighters as Earth,
as well as unique,
never-before-seen weaponry,
to harvest a type of spiritual energy
called Spiritia from humans.
4TH PLANET OF THE VARAUTA SYSTEM
And now, from the fourth planet of the
Varauta System at the edge of the galaxy,
a new enemy called Sivil has been
awakened by the power of Spiritia.

Sivil is a horrific entity capable
of unaided space flight.

Is the enemy collecting Spiritia
so they can awaken more
of their dangerous brethren?
