Moomin
Even you, who always
tries to keep strong, -
will have moments when
you need to shed tears.

sadness quickly disappears.

Moominvalley is a Jungle
Moomin and his friends
planted the tropical -
seeds they found
floating in the sea.
They were surprised to
find that a jungle has -
grown around the house
in just one night.
Unusual flowers and
trees grew everywhere,
including even
man-eating plants.
Snufkin, why did you stop
playing the harmonica?
The man-eating plants are
going to attack us again!
Their characteristics might have
changed after hearing music.
Snufkin could be right. They
might not attack us anymore.
Mr. Hemulen, it's dangerous!
It'll be fine.
Be careful, Mr. Hemulen!

It seems they haven't
changed after all, Snufkin!
Pappa, we need to place something heavy
on top of the kitchen trap door.
Yes, I know.
Moomin, what are you talking about?
Snufkin is going to lead
the man-eating plants -
into the basement so that
we can trap them there.

I feel sorry for them.
We'll be feeling sorry we got
eaten if we let them out though.

I feel somewhat anxious
knowing that there are -
man-eating plants beneath
our floors right now.
If one can sleep soundly despite this,
that would be a mark of true courage.
Moomin and his friends are
playing in the jungle.
It's nice that the kids have
a curious new playground, -
but I believe we shouldn't have
planted those seeds, after all.
It's a miracle that
you were able to grow -
any tropical plants in
Moominvalley at all.
At any rate, this is a
once-in-a-lifetime chance -
for me to collect some
rare plant samples.
I'm truly grateful, Mamma.
Well, the cool atmosphere that comes
with all these trees is very welcome
But those man-eating plants aren't.

before the crocodiles notice us.

Moomin and Floren swam for their lives.
It looks as if they'll be able
to escape the monstrous snake.
But then, who could be on the ship
they are now swimming towards?
The animals are frightened.
The people from the zoo have
begun to infiltrate the jungle.
Don't worry. I promise I'll
protect every one of you.
