[narrator] Macross 7 is a giant
emigration fleet traveling the galaxy
in search of a habitable planet.

But the universe is an
unpredictable place.
GIGIL
Seven years after leaving earth,
they were attacked by a mysterious enemy,
and City 7 was separated from the fleet.

This enemy has inflicted some damage.

But their main goal
is to harvest a type of spiritual energy
called Spiritia from humans.
When finished, they retreat,
leaving their victims mentally broken.
And now
SIVIL
an even more dangerous enemy called Sivil
has infiltrated City 7.
After listening to Fire Bomber's
front man Basara Nekki sing

Sivil appeared to be in pain.

But she also shows unusual interest
in him, calling him "Anima Spiritia".
