Do things really have to be the same all the time? Just imagine Whee! Imagine a place that is turned around Where everything is opposite and upside down Where fish they smile as they fly all around Things are different in Topsy Turvy Town Jimmy Jones, look! You see a giant snail who's ten feet tall A tiny little elephant who's really only small He says, "Hey, do you know I play the saxophone? "But where I put it last I really can't recall.
" [SAXOPHONE SOLO.]
A purple frog lands right at your toes It barks like a dog and off it goes In the summer, it often snows Which is a little strange, I suppose What a funny topsy turvy place Wee! Ha-ha! That's Topsy Turvy, Topsy Turvy Town Whoo! Oh, yeah! What an inside outside kind of place I like it so much I think I'll stick around Whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop! The sky is green and the clouds are blue The rain falls up it's really true An upside down rainbow smiles at you You smile back, it's impolite not to Wow! Cows ride bikes and sheep climb trees A mouse refuses a piece of cheese All the houses are upside down It sure is different in Topsy Turvy Town What a funny topsy turvy place That's Topsy Turvy, Topsy Turvy Town What an inside outside kind of place I like it so much I think I'll stick around Topsy Turvy Town.
- [WEE!.]
