[narrator] After leaving Earth, the
Macross 7 emigration fleet was attacked
by a mysterious enemy in deep space
called the Protodeviln
BATTLE 7
resulting in an emergency landing
on Planet Lux.
GEPELNITCHI'S SHIP
MACROSS 7 FLEE
Fortunately, the planet was habitable,
but this does not change the fact
that they are now vulnerable to the enemy.
MACROSS 7 OFFICERS
In the midst of the fierce fighting
is a rock singer who continues to sing.
BLAZER VALKYRIE
His name is Basara Nekki.
STEALTH VALKYRIE
FIRE VALKYRIE
Even when attacked during combat,
he only dodges.
And instead of fighting back, he sings.
His motives for singing aside,
the Protodeviln Sivil has shown
extreme interest in him
SIVIL
SPIRITIA GAUGE
calling him Anima Spiritia.
Basara sang his heart out,
and this impacted Sivil,
who has somehow fallen into a deep sleep
in a forest at the Botanical Plant.
Basara never cared for
the concept of friend or foe, though.

So even with his enemy
Gigil lurking about,
Basara continues to sing
so that Sivil may awaken.
BETRAYAL AND A GIRL'S TEARS
[Ray] Basara.
