[narrator] After setting off into the
galaxy in search of a habitable planet
STEALTH VALKYRIE
BLAZER VALKYRIE
the emigration fleet, Macross 7,
was attacked by a mysterious enemy
FULL ARMORED VF-11
BATTLE 7
called the Protodeviln, resulting in
an emergency landing on Planet Lux.
This enemy inflicted some damage,
but their main goal
GEPELNITCHI'S SHIP
is to absorb a type of spiritual energy
called Spiritia from humans.
That is why they never
try to actually destroy the fleet.
The enemy's commander is
a man called Gepelnitchi
GEPELNITCHI
but his form is merely an avatar.
4TH PLANET OF THE VARAUTA SYSTEM
His real body seems to be sleeping on
a planet at the galaxy's edge, Varauta IV.
And now the Protodeviln are being awakened
from that planet, one after the other,
plunging the fleet into terror
with their fearsome power.
GLAVIL
But during all this,
Sivil went on a rampage,
ignoring Gepelnitchi's plans.
GAVIL
Now she is flying as she sleeps.

ELGERSOLN
Meanwhile Gigil, who had remained
reluctantly obedient to Gepelnitchi,
has begun chasing after Sivil,
neglecting his mission.
GIGIL
This is what is irritating Gepelnitchi.
But this is all unbeknownst to
