[grandiose music playing dramatically]
[Mauricio] Sold! [chuckles]
[Alexia] Wow!
In the words of Mauricio Umansky,
this was amazing.
-Good job. That was a good lead to get.
-Thank you.
You guys are the boys for the job.
[Joey] Let's go!
[Mauricio] The Agency is the
fastest-growing real estate company
in the world,
but for me, it's the family business.
We're so proud of you.
Oh, you girls are the best.
Having my daughters work for the business
is an absolute dream come true,
and now I've got Sophia.
This is my sister Sophia.
Hi. Sophia. Nice to meet you.
I'm ready to kick ass.
[Alexia] Real estate is in our blood.
Farrah has got the experience
and the brains.
-Isn't this gorgeous?
-Wow.
[Sophia] Alexia's very social.
She's the salesperson.
[Alexia] And Sophia is this fearless force
to be reckoned with.
Dad tells me to do something,
I will never do that.
Maybe she'll run the company one day,
and we'll just be
-Serving her.
-Serving Yeah.
Oh my God, guys. Thank you.
[Mauricio] This staircase is $1.5 million.
Currently, the real estate market
is having some tremendous challenges,
but for me, I jump on the horse,
and I ride harder.
The person who brings the buyer
takes $1.12 million.
Ooh! You know
what I could do with that money?
I'm from Arizona. That's four houses.
I can buy a block.
-[Adam] This is a million-dollar bathroom.
-[Alexia] Oh What?
This is spectacular.
We're walking away
with almost a billion dollars in listings.
[all cheering]
We're outperforming the market by a lot.
I've been so stressed, and the travel
obviously affects, you know, us.
We wanted to have this conversation
when we're all together.
For obvious reasons.
I'm really sorry, you guys.
She wanted the separation.
How will this affect the business?
The Agency being a large family,
just like every family, there's conflict.
Sophia has a huge crush on Adam.
He was literally like, "You look
amazing tonight." And I was like, "Oh!"
You know what I'm talking about. You liar.
Did I miss something?
We're not working together on this?
-[Ben] You have a problem, pull me aside.
-You iced me out.
When it comes to who's gonna be
the head of, I think that's me.
She literally said if you guys took over
The Agency, it'd be business suicide.
-Who's the heir to the throne?
-Last year, I would've said Farrah.
This year, Alexia.
She's really stepped up.
Wait. So does this mean
I'm calling Alexia "boss"?
[music fades]
[engaging music playing gently]
[music fades]
I had an amazing 26 years with your mom.
An amazing 26 years.
[sighs] I wanted to do everything possible
to just save it.
So, you know, your mom came
and she talked to me, um,
and she said, "I think I need space."
Um, she said to me,
"Listen, the rules are that, you know,
you go out, you date, you do
whatever it is that you want to do."
"I'm not going to be asking you
what you're doing."
"I don't want you to be asking me
what I'm doing. Like, we are separated."
[dramatic sting plays]
-[Alexia] This is new terrain.
-Yeah.
Look, I need to have, you know,
some time and a clear head,
and maybe I'll go spend a month in Aspen.
[sighs emotionally]
It's so weird to have
these conversations. [sniffles]
[Sophia] I know.
I mean, our life has just changed so much.
[Farrah] I definitely
could not have predicted
where my life was going to be
one year ago
in all aspects.
[Sophia] Like, we only even found out that
there was any issues
just a few months ago,
and now it's just like
things change so quickly.
[Alexia sighs] I'm sorry
we're all going through this.
Me too.
Sorry for all of us.
I'm sorry for you guys, I'm sorry for you.
-For all of us.
-[Alexia, Sophia] Yeah.
[dramatic music building]

All right, girls. I am so excited
to show you this property.
We don't have this listing yet.
Um, but I Hopefully, we're gonna get it.
We got to work on it.
-[Farrah] Whoa.
-[Alexia] This is stunning.
[Mauricio] The architect
is a good friend of mine. Tag Front.
[Farrah] That's a big name. It's so zen.
-Yeah.
-So zen.
The Bel Air property is a beautiful
architectural masterpiece.
It's not on the market yet.
But it will list
for approximately $65 million.
And for that price,
you will get some amazing things.
A 2,000-square-foot primary bedroom
-This is bigger than most houses.
-Whoa. I love the wood detailing.
[Mauricio] multiple millions of dollars
worth of glass, incredible views,
and some really fun celebrity neighbors
such as Jennifer Aniston,
Jay-Z, and Beyoncé.
The Agency scores listings like this
because sellers know our track record,
and they want the best team working
for them, especially in a down market.
It's so important to stay in contact
with all of your developer friends
because people are still building,
and we need to build inventory.
The reality is that the market
is tough right now,
and the pressure on me,
as the CEO, is intense.
We're dealing with high interest rates,
the mansion tax.
And then a beautiful closet. All Poliform.
Everything super high-end.
But we take risks, and we're creative.
We're nimble enough to adjust
to the market conditions.
The Agency is like a speedboat,
and other brokerages are like the Titanic.
-We made it.
-Wow, this house is incredible.
Dad's going to want to give me a tour,
and it'll take two hours

[Farrah] It's like Barbie and mini Barbie.
-[Mauricio] You're tall today.
-I know.

[Alexia] Isn't it cool?
[Mauricio] We're on our way to dinner,
but I figured that
with Sophia
starting in real estate tomorrow,
it'd be really cool for her
to come by and check out this property.
[upbeat music playing]
[Mauricio] So, this is
the floating staircase.
This staircase is $1.5 million.
It's just a piece of art.
[Farrah] Don't scuff
the stairs with your shoes.
[Sophia] I'm nervous.
[Mauricio] You guys, look at this scale.
Like, is this not incredible?
It'd be fun to have parties here
and see people.
[Mauricio] And then the glass.
You guys, come this way.
-Three different living rooms.
-[Farrah] Ooh, look at that bar.
-[Kyle] I love when a bar is lit up.
-[Farrah] Me too.
[Mauricio] Breakfast room.
Outdoor dining, outdoor kitchen.
This kitchen was worth $400,000.
[all] Wow.
-That seems cheap after the stairs.
-[Sophia] Yeah.
-[Mauricio] This is Kyle's room. Full spa.
-[Kyle] Ohh!
Hey, until it sells, are we allowed
to hang out and use this?
[Mauricio] I'll ask.
And then you have your gym.
Fifteen hundred bottles of wine.
Check out the outdoors, guys.
Big grass, beautiful pool.
[Farrah] Oh, I love this pool.
[Alexia] So special.
[Kyle] This is making me
want to just kind of move in.
Look at Sophia's height with her heels.
-[Kyle] She's a powerhouse.
-[Sophia] Why so close to me?
[Mauricio] I'm impressed with your height.
And I get to have you start work tomorrow.
This is a very fun event for me,
just so you know.
[Alexia] And for all of us.
Fif's in the business.
-Got Fif in the business.

Oh yeah.
It's pretty much guaranteed
you're gonna love it.
-[Sophia] I'm really excited.
-We got our license together.
I had just gotten fired.
[Kyle] So I said,
"Why don't we get into real estate?"
And then we'd go to Santa Monica College,
eat out of the vending machines
It was our "date night."
[Alexia] That's so romantic.
We had a lot of fun.
-[Farrah] The rest is history.
-[Mauricio] And here we are. Wow.
I was always a dreamer.

three days a week.
-[Farrah] Three days?
-That's how I'm starting.
-It's an internship.

-We'll see how it goes.
-[Farrah] See if we get to four days.
Maybe one day she's gonna bless you guys
with her presence five days a week.
I think I'm gonna be fine at work.
I think I'm gonna be very pleasant.

-[Joey] Appreciate that. Thank you, Ben.
[laughter]
Guys, with this Rustic Valley property,
they could have come to Ben Belack.
They came to us
to list their prized possession.
[dramatic music playing]
[Joey] Over 350 acres.
Rustic Valley Farms
is the best opportunity
between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles
for a large piece of land.
You're growing olive trees,
avocado trees, lemon trees.
I mean, the different types of crops
that you can grow
that I can't even talk about on camera
Muah!
There's more millions
than years we've lived in our lives.
I think Ben is a super realtor
within his backyard
of Beverly Hills homes
that sell themselves.
But when it comes
to more of a nuanced property,
above the 20-million-dollar
price threshold,
they had to come to the best,
someone who knows how to tiptoe and dance,
and that's why they came to us.
Got my dancing shoes on right now.
[exclaims]
Joey. You ready to discuss?
[Joey] Not sure
what we're discussing, but
What do you mean? We're talking
about our listing, in case you forgot.
Oh, is it our listing now?
[chuckling] I'm joking, I'm joking.
I'm very excited
for you to be a part of it.
-I don't have to help if you don't want.
-No, I want
My team doesn't have to help
if you don't want our help.
The listing came to me,
but when you co-list
with the Umansky Team,
bringing that name into the listing,
it quite frankly opens doors,
and it shows the client
that we're willing to do anything
to get this done.
How's life?
Um
-Life's been good.
-[Joey] Yeah?
Do you have slumber parties
more often at your parents' place
or your boyfriend's parents' place?
I'm just curious.
[laughs] No, Jake basically lives
at home with my family.
Are you guys talking
about the Rustic Valley property?
Well, actually, we're talking
about our sleepovers with Jake.
[laughter]
Alexia, very close friend in high school,
my lover [clears throat]
My partner in work,
um, my lover again.
I feel like you might
still have feelings for me.
When you work with someone
every day that you had a past with,
you know, like, feelings can come up.
Since Alexia has gotten serious with Jake,
now we're just more focused on work.
All right, whatever, guys.
[Alexia, Joey laughing]
[Joey] Good talk. Great.
-I think that went really well.
-[Alexia laughs]
How's life with you? What's new?
Life is good. Just staying active.
You're always going to luxury hotels,
playing golf, I've noticed.
You're probably networking a lot.
Yeah, this is how I came up with,
you know, the listing
that we're here talking about, and
What do you mean?
Well, I mean, I know the guy,
but I feel like
We know the guy.
We went to high school with him.
I went to elementary school with him.
I've been writing offers for them
since coming out of college,
and you joined a little later.
If I do recall,
I think the first showing we did together
was on our team together
at that house in Pico.
-Oh!
-I think you've forgotten.
I yeah, but I wrote multiple offers
for a year and a half straight
with that family.
[Alexia] This is what really gets me.
How do you lie about something like this?
Like, we've both known
this client for years.
You did not score this client
on the golf course.
The big thing to me, where I see
your value, is the event-throwing.
-[Alexia] Yeah.
-You've always been good at that.
We need to have a fun open house idea
to get bodies there.
Because it's a little further
outside of LA,
I like the idea of having a, like,
family barbecue type of vibe.
I also think a party favor,
like a bottle of olive oil.
Yeah. It's a lot different
when, like, we used to do this
when we were on the same team.
You've leveled up on us.
-It's cool to see.
-Now I know what I'm doing.
Yeah. I guess it's the same
for me too, huh?
I'm like, this is sick
because we're competition
as much as we're friends, which is nice.
You know, like
We're going up against each other.
-We're collaborating.
-We're also collaborating.
[Alexia] Yes.
We're also going up against each other.
But we're also collab
He's just letting you know
that he's got my back.
That's a force
to be reckoned with right there.
Like a shark in the waters. Like
[Joey] I was talking
my little bit of trash,
and then of course
your grandfather shows up.
-That was hilarious.
-[Joey groans]
[scratchy music playing]
I'm still an athlete. Still an athlete.
-Did you pay the meter?
-I did.
[Ben] You're welcome.
I haven't played ball in a long time,
but what I will say is,
you're not in shape.
-Dad bod.
-It's
It's more of like a granddad bod.
Zach is one of my closest friends,
even though he's sold a
$65-million listing before and I have not.
And a few years ago,
Zach was casually recruiting me
to Hilton & Hyland.
You want me to put in a good word
at Hilton & Hyland?
[sighs]
Look, we got a lot of young agents coming.
I don't know that you're young anymore.
But you look younger,
and you drive a douchey car.
But I knew the entire time
The Agency was the perfect place for him.
Work these, work these, and work this!
So, the second he came to The Agency,
we started this podcast,
and it's like working with a circus clown.
[in slow motion voice] I'm Zach Goldsmith.
-Oh my
-Speed it up.
Over the profits of mega mansions,
here are
I want you to be comfortable.
-That's it.
-Bitter Ben Belack.
Type "Bitter Ben Belack,"
you'll see it at the end.
Thank you for tuning in.
[speaks in Spanish]
I do have a tremendous amount of respect
for him and his business practice.
Then other times, I'm just like,
"How did this guy get his pants on?"
-Ooh, the double rim strikes again.
-[Zach] Oh, the double rim.
Okay, I'll give you a free shot.
Let's go with the dancing, the dribbling.
[Ben grunts]
[Zach] Cash.
I'm afraid if I start winning,
you're gonna get violent.
[producer] How do you think
that your co-workers would describe you?
An asshole.
Self-centered. Narcissist. Unfocused.
Uh, severe ADD.
But, you know,
I specialize in super high-end
because you catch small fish,
you throw them back and you let them swim.
You're here for the big prize.
[music stops]
When is lunch? What were you saying?
-You're gonna be too tired to shoot it.
-Ooh, my back. My back.
My back.
[Zach laughs]
-Oh my God.
-That's it.
[Zach] The line that takes him out.
-[Ben] I'm DQ'd.
-He was waiting to see.
That's what happened with Tyson
when he faced Holyfield.
That was the equivalent
of you biting my ear.
[grunts]
-Are you not going to be able to finish?
-I don't think so. [grunts]
I'm definitely not comfortable right now.
So, anyway, dude, what's your transition
been like from Hilton & Hyland?
[Zach] Incredible and difficult
at the same time.
My struggles now are
because I feel like The Agency
is the enemy of that company,
and I'm getting a lot of shit
on the streets. More than I thought.
You were there when Mauricio
was at Hilton & Hyland.
-I was, yeah.
-And what was it like when he left?
Mauricio leaving was a huge breakup.
I think people were like,
"This is Mauricio's thing."
-"Fuck him for leaving."
-Yeah, you guys all, like, chose sides.
We chose sides.
Yeah, and you chose the wrong side.
I don't know about the wrong side.
It made my career.
I sold some of the biggest properties
in the world with them.
At Hilton & Hyland,
Mauricio was the top dog. [barks]
But Mo left to start The Agency
because he felt undervalued.
He left Rick Hilton,
the partner, his brother-in-law,
and so The Agency was Luke Skywalker
and Hilton & Hyland was Darth Vader.
We never would cross paths,
or it was gonna be war.
Lightsaber battle to the death.
I never wanted to leave.
[Ben] If Jeff didn't pass,
you probably would still be there.
We tried to keep it together,
and we couldn't make it work.
I came here to be more creative,
to growing my business in a different way.
Not just selling high-end homes.
-Do you think you've been busier?
-I definitely have.
The Agency's freed me up
to be me, more of who I am,
and that has made my career
soar even higher.
[imitates Donald Trump] There's never been
a realtor with more experience,
and frankly, more sales than I've had.
Okay? It's unbelievable.
[Ben] You're like me.
You're in the office a lot.
-I spend time in the office.
-Yeah, it's where opportunity happens.
But do you feel
like you're seeing the juniors?
Like, do you know who Brandon is?
I don't think so.
Do you know who Joey is?
He came up to me
when I joined the company.
He's like, "I've been following you.
I really appreciate you being here."
He walks around the office
with a teacup filled with espresso.
Transition lenses inside.
Yes. Like, Joey's trying to tell us all
that he's arrived,
but it's one thing to get a listing,
it's another to get it sold.
[engaging music playing]
I didn't even know
that you were here last night.
Like, I woke up and you're just in my bed.
I woke up, I looked around,
and I saw an arm, and I was like
You were passed out last night.
Like, snoring, like, the whole thing.
And your TV was blasting.
Really? Oh my God.
[Sophia] I've been spending
more time at Farrah's house
because she's been living at home
for the first time in a while.
She was living with Alex.
She's really taking time to think about
if it's the right thing for her,
and so I'm really proud of her
for doing that.
-[Alexia] Oh, you guys look cozy.
-[Farrah] Oh my God.
-[Sophia] You look gorg.
-[Farrah] Adorable.
-[Alexia] Did you sleep over here again?
-Yeah.
-[Alexia] Oh, that's fun.
-But I already got all ready.
Yeah, well, I remember
when Fif and I used to hold hands
and rub toes when we were cold.
-Aw. We can hold hands.
-Rub toes?
But I get it. I have a boyf now, so
-You have a boyf.
-I'm busy, I guess.
What are you trying to say?
I'm just trying to say I'd appreciate
an invitation every so often.
[Farrah] Well, this one just shows up.
You're just the only two people
I get FOMO with ever.
It's fine, though.
As long as you guys are happy.
-I mean
-Time to lay out?
-Yeah.
-[Alexia] Cool.
Let's do it.
My dad one day
looked at Sophia and Farrah,
and he was like,
"Oh, you guys are really the dynamic duo,"
and I was there, and I was like,
"Yeah, they are. That's great for them."
[breathes in] So yeah,
that's what they are.
Did you do a spider check on this thing?
-I didn't do it.
-[Alexia] Great.
[all chuckle]
I mean, I'd totally open up
Farrah's door and let myself in
and sneak into her bed, but
I don't have a key.
[Farrah] Cheers.
Farrah, I'm actually very happy
in this chair.
-You are?
-Yeah.
See? You have the best attitude.
That's why you can deal with more things.
-[Alexia] Exactly.
-[chuckles]
I have to tell you guys
about this conversation
'cause there's
so many things that irked me
about what Joey was saying.
You're gonna die.
We had a plan to discuss the open house
for the ranch listing that we have.
And he's like, "I think this is where
a lot of your value will come in,
is the event."
Saying you're great at events,
but you're not good at the sale part?
I mean, it kind of sounded like,
"This is your lane, stay in it."
And he was like,
"I've been really active playing golf,"
and I said,
"Oh yeah, I'm sure you're networking."
And he goes,
"That's how I got this listing."
[suspenseful music playing]
I was just like "What?"
"You have this listing because you and I
went to high school with this guy."
He was lying.
"I went to elementary school
with this guy."
You can get competitive back with him,
treat him the same way he treats you.
If Joey had lied to me about a listing
and was talking down to me
the way he was Alexia,
it'd be off with his head.
Our mom told us no lies ever.
So, a big lie a big, fat, juicy lie
-We don't like a liar.
-It's not the vibe.
Joey works really, really hard,
and he's sold more than me,
even though I had a great year,
but he's, like, he's killing it.
Like, I respect you. Just respect me back.
I think you don't realize what a threat
you are, because at any moment,
like, you have deep relationships
with some of the same people as he does,
and you also have a little leverage,
being partners with your dad.
And you have to remember that, like,
he knows that we have
this other tool in our belt.
[Sophia] And Dad did say
Alexia is taking the lead on this.
You gonna say something to him?
[Alexia] Dad had, like,
the breaking point the other day,
and I feel bad adding more to that stress.
He just runs himself into the ground
by saying yes, yes, yes.
And that is why he's
so great at his job, but
I mean, he normally, nothing bothers him.
[Sophia] I've never seen him like that.
He was literally, like,
ready to drop everything.
He was like, "Cancel the book tour,
cancel this, I'm done."
-"I hate my life."
-[Alexia] I've never heard that before.
Full mental breakdown.
-That makes me so sad.
-[Sophia] Like, crazy.
He just seemed
so overwhelmed and just said,
"I cannot believe I have to do
that, that, that this week."
"When do I spend time with my family?"
At first, we thought he was joking.
He's never not smiling.
He's never not smiling.
Nothing is ever too much.
When we realized he was serious,
we were like, "Oh God."
We also realized that Dad is human,
and it just caught up with him.
[Sophia] Like, I was super nice
to him after that.
For a few days.
Wow. Look at you, turning a new leaf.
Yeah. You know I'm working on it.
I'm in therapy. We're figuring it out.
[all chuckle]
[engaging music playing]
[music fades]
[Sophia] Okay
I'm way too hungover for this.
-[Alexia] Do you not know what to do?
-[Sophia] My brain's not working.
I feel like I'm switching
from drunk to hungover as we speak,
and I'm honestly debating
opening a beer right now.
Great!
They're gonna be warm.
[Sophia] Ew.
Really good day
to show up hungover, Sophia.
Oh, nice. Perfect.
Joey. I feel like things
are not fully done.
[Joey] They're not.
-Are the wines put away?
-[Joey] Most of them.
Okay. I feel like I should change now.
Rustic Valley Ranch is magical,
and I want the magic
to just shine through this event.
I do love event planning,
and I am really good at it.
I'm a really good agent too.
I don't know if Joey takes me
as a serious agent, but he better start.
[upbeat dance music playing]
We're gonna do some private tours,
but in the meantime, just so you know,
it's 360 acres of planted avocados.
When you buy the property,
you do acquire
the olive oil that he sells.
-Joey's listing or it's yours?
-It's both of ours.
Oh. Very nice.
-[Mauricio] Are you enjoying your burger?
-I'm obsessed with this burger.
Think you should be helping your sister
instead of enjoying your burger?
-[music stops]
-[Sophia chuckles]
[Joey] Off to the stables.
So, I wanted to specifically
take you three on this tour.
It's 11 stables, chicken coops.
-Chicken coops?
-Chicken coops.
This is not a property
in the Beverly Hills Flats.
This is something
that could take a very, very long time.
But Zach and Adam have
plenty of buyers that can afford this,
and I know Ben really wanted
to ride the golf cart.
[Ben] Sometimes
when I see this stuff, I'm like,
"I don't wanna live in a city anymore."
So who do you think the buyer is
since you schlepped
these LA agents up here?
Someone who has more of a passion
for the agricultural aspects
of this property.
So an Angeleno who wants to grow corn.
-What's that mean?
-A billionaire who loves eggplant.
An Angeleno who wants to grow corn.
That's what I just said.
Beyond that, the numbers make sense.
I honestly think, standing up here,
it's one of the most beautiful settings
I've ever seen in my life.
I just You gotta convince
someone to come up here,
pay $30 million for this.
Finding a buyer
for this Rustic Valley house
is like trying to find a dinghy
in the middle of an ocean
from 30,000 feet.
You just You won't see it.
You got this little living room
up here as well.
You have a living space downstairs,
living space upstairs.
1,950 square feet. They really utilize
this space very much so.
Here's this $28-million log cabin.
Now, let me take you to a field.
-Congrats on the big listing
-Thank you.
And, um, if there's some version
of a buyer, we would bring them here.
By the way, is your dog
about to pass away?
Yeah.
-It's scary, honestly.
-[Zach] I'm just concerned
[Adam] She's got at least seven
fucking more years left. Stop it.
I'm 40 years old, and I'm still single,
but I am madly in love with Sophia,
my two-and-a-half-pound toothless,
jawless Chihuahua.
And she is the absolute love of my life.
I wanna get Joey and Alexia
to be more Southern.
These little Beverly Hills kids have
no idea how to show a ranch like this.
-[Farrah] What do you want them to do?
-First you got to change your voice up.
[in Southern accent] This is 375 acres
of raw land.
I plant seeds on this land, water 'em,
let the sun hit, watch 'em grow.
By the way, I just realized
I have a huge rip in my pants.
Like, this has
nothing to do with you. It's
-Okay.
-I mean
You might not want
to sound like that. I can't
What is going on with you, by the way?
-With me?
-Yeah.
You're engaged.
-Your career is booming.
-Yes.
-Career is booming, engaged
-Are you happy?
-I'm very happy.
-Are you?
Yeah. What do you mean?
Why don't you have a date set?
Or is that too personal?
Um I
-I'm really interested.
-I don't know.
Yeah.
If it was my
fully in my control,
I would have been married
probably already.
[Zach] He should lock this down.
I want you to get a date on the books,
so I can get a tux.
[Alexia] BZP, BZP
Okay. I see how it is.
[Joey] How are you doing?
What the heck? BZP selling?
Yeah, a little bit. Are you mad?
-Burn it.
-This is a collaboration.
I agree.
[Alexia] And here's all
This is all the things BZP has done.
I didn't get the memo.
We could have brought a Umansky Team one.
-It's all a collaborative effort.
-I don't see Umansky anywhere.
[Joey] Okay!
Today's been so lovely and so great,
and suddenly I see this?
[Ben] Alexia, why do you look
I've never seen you look pissed.
[Alexia] It's me and Joey.
I just go in the kitchen,
and I see these BZP flyers,
just talking all about how amazing BZP is.
Should I be caring about that?
The listing agents need to be
on all the collateral. Full stop.
Yeah, it's weird. It's like shots fired.
I don't think that Joey
is necessarily intimidated by Alexia,
but he too quickly forgets
how he was able to join the Umansky Team,
which is an extremely unique
and special opportunity.
Do you feel like he's trying
to diminish my part in all of it?
I don't like to be angry,
but it is annoying. It's annoying.
I'm also trying really hard
to learn how to collaborate with him,
trying to figure out what I do
and don't say. I'll say something.
You have to.
[dramatic music peaks, fades]
[glass clinking]
-It was a good event.
-That was a very good event.
Why is your sister over here
not feeling that way?
How do you think
the clients felt about it?
I think they were really hyped about it.
The clients you met
at the golf course? Those ones?
Which ones?
You know what I'm talking about, Joey.
You're a fucking liar. Why did you lie?
-Lie about what?
-About where you met the clients.
Oh, I didn't lie, I just
You met them at the golf course?
Oh, he was telling the truth.
I recounted wrong. You know?
'Cause I was focused
You forgot that you were
friends with him in high school?
How do you forget that?
I thought you were looking at her
like she's being crazy.
No, I'm looking at her with admiration.
-[Sophia] Yeah.
-[Joey] There was no lie told.
-[Sophia] No lie told. Okay.
-Joey
Did I miss something?
We're not working together?
Are you acting
like we're working together?
I'm not saying these are my clients,
your clients, this
We're co-listing it together. Who cares?
It doesn't matter how wrong
Alexia or Sophia could be,
if it's them against me,
I lose every time.
Because when you fuck with one Umansky,
you fuck with all the Umanskys.
It's as if, like, you kind of forgot
that I know these people as well.
You tried to pull out some shit
that you met them at the golf course.
Don't wanna feel like you're acting as if
you've been doing this for longer than me,
'cause we started the same time.
Sometimes you don't take me very seriously
and you treat me as if I'm some sort
of accessory of the Umansky Team,
but I am a very different person now.
[tense music peaks, fades]
[all] Three, two, one!
[upbeat music playing]
[Mauricio] That was amazing.
[all] Boom!
[Zach] Hinge Go for it.
A couple of donkeys
walking through Santi's house.
These Umanskys, they gotta win.
We don't need to win, but we're going to.
-Obviously Yes, I am!
-Are you blushing right now?
You guys look so gorgeous in there.
I've had a crush on him
for a really long time.
You are my best friend, 100%,
but that's my fucking sister.
I thought you were gonna pull out
knives and shank someone.
Rick Hilton,
he's starting his own company,
and he's offered me
a piece of the company.
Once she knows what he said,
how are they going to work together again?
-Joey.
-You are in this family unit.
I need you to leave my name
out of your mouth.
I'd have married you years ago.
Do you think Alex is your person,
your future, your forever?
[dramatic tense music playing]
We as a family have a tendency
to brush anything negative under the rug.
[Mauricio] Why are you crying, love bug?
It's just hard, isn't it?
I'm getting that in the divorce.
It's my apron.
-You can borrow it for now.
-You can have it. [chuckles]
So you think that it affects
the trajectory of The Agency?
You don't get to take over a company
because you have the same last name.
You have to earn it. I actually think
it's gonna be business suicide.
We do have a "no assholes" policy,
and you're in leadership,
and you're kind of being an asshole.
I don't sit and wait
for things to happen to me.
I make them happen for myself.
Yeah, in a fucking conniving, thirsty way.
[music builds]
You're telling me
that the person that says
they want to be the next CEO of The Agency
is putting down my daughters?
Yes!
I don't wanna be with anybody
that doesn't wanna be with me. Simple.
-So you're done?
-[music stops]
Yeah.
[tense music playing]
