for a checkup.

My doctor mommy says
moving around is good for you.
I'm gonna see her for a checkup today.
What's a checkup?
I don't remember 'cause I was a baby
last time I had one.
My doctor mommy keeps us healthy
and makes sure
we're growing big and strong.
And she can help
if we feel sick or have owies.

I don't feel sick,
and I don't have any owies,
but I do have an idea.
We can use our ladybug light
to imagine what happens at a checkup.

Sometimes my dad gets his car a checkup.
[car rattling, sputtering]

Anxious is when we feel nervous or scared
because we don't know what's gonna happen.

The checkup is easy-peasy.
And I am okay.

[all inhale deeply]

We are going to my grandparents' farm,
and Cody's mommy is taking us there
on the train.

She reads me lots of books about trains.
I know the train's con-duc-tor yells,

Now arriving at Moon Station.

that'll take us to the farm?

We are going to the train station now.

that caterpillars make.
They wrap themselves up tight.
And then when they're ready,
they come out as butterflies.

And when she's a butterfly,
we're gonna play even more.

After we let her wings dry,
what do you say we take her outside?
Me and Ollie-fly don't need to go outside.
We're gonna hug and have a tea party.
And she's gonna live here,
and we'll be
bestest butterfly friends forever!

[Bella's Mom] Oh, Bella.
Ollie-fly can't live here forever.
She needs to be in nature,
with lots of room
and the whole sky to fly around.
So we have to let her go.
But then I won't get to see her again.
That makes my heart hurt, Mommy.

It sounds like you're feeling heartbroken.
You're very, very sad and disappointed
you have to say goodbye to your friend?
