This is what she's been working
so hard on.
The right moment needs to come along.
I need to talk to Farhana.
I need to know what did she hear.
Why were you eavesdropping on me
and Fahad the other day?
-I was eavesdropping on you?
-Yeah.
Of course not!
Like, is she for real?
I mean, seriously?
We're at an event, is this the time
to have a conversation like this?
I went to the bathroom, when I came out,
I saw you guys having a conversation.
You saw me leaving. Why would I eavesdrop?
I don't know. It's a bit weird because
a husband and wife are talking.
-No, that's cool, babe.
-You heard nothing?
Of course not! What I didn't even hear
I didn't hear anything.
To be honest, like, the night
when we were at the bonfire,
I heard Fahad and Safa talking.
And she said something like, you know,
"If Zeina found out, she would get upset,"
or I don't know.
I think she was hesitating to tell Zeina.
I didn't hear the conversation.
I heard something like,
"How should I tell her?
What should I tell her?"
Something like that. But that was it.
Of course I wasn't, babe.
To be honest, I really
don't know about the conversation.
I have no idea.
Oh, my God,
how can you even think like that?
Oh, my God.
Like, seriously, that's not cool.
I don't know if I believe her.
Maybe she doesn't want to, like,
get into this with me,
but is she, like,
scared to tell me or, like,
she actually didn't hear anything?
I'm not sure.
I need to let Zeina enjoy this event.
I will tell her after.
[upbeat music playing]
Today I'm taking my dad, Dr. Daddy Cool,
and Safa to my new office
to show them the construction site.
This is the reception area.
-Wow, it's beautiful. Congratulations.
-Thank you.
-Oh, my God. Wow! What a location!
-Thank you. Thank you so much.
I love it.
I decided that I was gonna
take a leap of faith
and create my own company.
I took my own office,
got to be independent.
So over here is actually a space
-for my dad.
-[Safa] Oh.
He's actually going to be coming here,
I don't know where he is.
Having a space for my father to work
is so important to me
because I know how much he values working.
And I feel like ever since he retired,
he's been kind of like feeling unsettled,
it's going to make him feel like
there's somewhere for him to go.
-Hi, Daddy. How are you?
-Hi.
Hi, habibi. [kisses] I love you, habibi.
This is Safa, the one
I've been telling you about.
Hi, I'm Mona's father.
People call me Professor Ibrahim.
My daughter gave me a unique name,
she calls me Daddy Cool.
So, Daddy Cool it is, then. All right.
-How's my Arabic?
-Very good. Very good.
We should do an Iraqi session.
-I hear you're a good cook. Right?
-Oh, really? Yeah.
-Will you teach us how to cook?
-$20 for every hour teaching.
Very good!
When I saw Mona's dad,
I felt like I really missed my parents,
because I feel like he's a typical Iraqi.
So, it's up here?
-Big, big, big!
-Yes.
This floor is a big deal for me.
First time I do anything
without my sisters, without anybody.
The first independent project
I've ever done.
My sister Huda is someone
I've always looked up to, and I respect,
but I also feel like in many ways,
like it really made me
a part of her shadow almost.
I really want to be Mona,
I don't want to be Mona, Huda's sister.
I want to be Mona, just who Mona is.
In the center we'll have working tables,
-you see the tape on the floor.
-Okay.
[Safa] When did you leave Iraq
to go to America?
Before the Iraq-Iran Wars.
Hard time actually, shape your personality
and make you something special.
We've been through
some very difficult times.
Through all the difficulties,
I supported my family.
We started from nothing.
They started with the lashes.
It was little money.
We didn't have savings.
It was my sister, Alia,
who had, like, $6,000.
-That's all we started with.
-Oh.
When they come for package,
because they received
the products from outside.
Huda said, "Daddy, I need help!"
We used to stay at home
and pack the lashes together.
-I took my wife
-Get paper cuts everywhere.
-It was crazy.
-And packaged all these first eyelashes.
What an achievement.
I love you, Dad.
I don't know what I'd do without you.
Oh? Again, again?
Don't cry, my darling.
My father has always supported us,
and when we were going through
a very hard time,
at Huda Beauty
with our cashflow, like, he
Um
He He
I'm sorry.
For him to sell his house to help us
fund our business
during our hardest times,
I don't think many people would do that.
He didn't even think about it.
The only thing left for him
to keep his connection with Iraq
was his home.
I'm so grateful to him.
-I get really emotional about it.
-Don't get emotional.
And if we go back, I do more.
I love you. You're so sweet.
Yeah.
[helicopter whirring]
[indistinct radio chatter]
[Ebraheem] Lojain Omran took us to AlUla.
[Lojain] It's my first time in AlUla.
We're going to go celebrate Ebraheem.
I'm super, super excited.
[Ebraheem] I invited Salem Khammas.
We've been friends for two years.
He owns a real estate company
and a contracting company.
He's my friend,
but I consider him like an older brother.
I'm so glad Salem is here with me.
Ebraheem is like a brother to me.
I'm very happy
that he decided to get married.
[Lojain] I have a few surprises in store
that will definitely make everyone happy,
and especially our groom-to-be.
Walking in AlUla is like
walking in an outdoor museum,
a natural museum.
So, I wanted to take them on a tour.
[Farhana] It's magical.
It's beautiful. Am I really on Earth?
[Ebraheem] I felt I was in a historic site
and I felt the power of history.
It feels like you're somewhere like Mars.
[upbeat music playing]
[all whooping]
I couldn't ask for a better celebration,
in the best place, with the best people.
This is AlUla.
-[Farhana] Wow.
-[Lojain] A unique place!
[Danya] It looks like a painting.
It doesn't look real.
Did you guys see the mirrors?
[Danya gasps] Wow!
Let's go check in.
-Let's go.
-Can't wait.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
The villas are luxurious.
We got two, one for the ladies
and one for the men.
[Farhana] This is simply breathtaking.
Bliss had to work.
I was secretly, like, happy,
because if he was there,
I wouldn't be able to stay with the girls.
This place is out of this world.
Can you imagine what some of the others
are going to think
when they see us
on this amazing trip with LO?
-Oh, my God, they'll be jealous.
-Why should we care?
I don't understand why they're so worried
about what the others might think.
Who are the others?
I'm free. I do what I like.
[Marwan] I'm going to see Fahad.
Last time we had one on one time
was when we were in Ras Al Khaimah.
-How are you doing, bro? All good?
-All good.
I'm here to say thank you
for the opportunity,
even though I didn't need it.
I want to say thank you for, on the beach,
when I was talking about my event,
blindly you just said,
if there's an opportunity to help,
you'll help, uh
-I appreciate it.
-Yeah.
In my capacity, whatever I can,
I can go ahead and help you.
If, hypothetically speaking,
you were the sponsor
Again, over there, we didn't speak
in detail about what exactly is that.
I can tell you the details later.
I was just saying,
the fact that you even I said, like,
if there's a chance, why not?
What happened?
Decided what you're going to give her
for a push present?
So, that's a difficult thing to do.
-So, we saw a couple of options.
-Yeah.
I don't know.
Kris suggested I get a tattoo.
A real one?
He said maybe play a prank on her.
-[laughs]
-So, he sent me this tattoo artist
He's serious about it.
He really wants to do this.
Hold on, let me see.
I never knew you could do this.
You messaged her? You're going to see her?
Kris messaged.
Said I'm coming with a friend.
When he told me
he's going to go do it with Kris,
I thought this would be a great time
for me to go and show up
and have this talk with Kris
that I wanted to have,
which he's avoided it for many years.
And now I'm really considering it again.
When are you doing it? When are you going?
Tomorrow.
I asked him where, when, how,
who the person is.
-He's organized it and going to take you?
-Yeah.
Because he really wants to
Like, "I think you should play a prank."
I'm just going to show up, peacefully.
Showing up to have a chat. That's it.
Just a little one-on-one talk.
I'm so excited to show them
the Elephant Rock,
where we'll have dinner tonight.
[Arabic music playing]
They dug a hole in the sand
and put a seating area inside it.
Let the festivities begin.
I wish you were really married
and Hamdah was here.
She would have enjoyed herself.
It didn't work out this time,
-but hopefully next time.
-Hopefully.
According to our traditions,
the man and his fiancée
are not allowed to travel together.
And they are not allowed to be alone
before the wedding.
I really feel that I'm very blessed
to have all of you as friends.
I feel some people would be very jealous.
We are here today to celebrate you,
so I only invited the people you love.
If someone is jealous, it's not our issue.
Even though
Zeina expressed her disapproval,
"Oh, you're with Ebraheem
and Danya and group."
-I told her there are no groups.
-No groups.
We are not at a school.
Rest assured, Ebraheem,
I'm aware of everything,
but I don't have to take sides.
I'm really tired of people wearing masks
and pretending to be
someone that they're not.
Don't underestimate me.
I am biding my time.
[upbeat music playing]
[women laughing]
Tonight I've invited everyone
really close to Zeina to dinner,
to surprise her and celebrate her business
and make her feel really good.
[all laughing]
So, everyone's in Saudi.
[Zeina] Who's everyone?
Farhana, LJ, Ebraheem, Lojain Omran.
-Oh, really?
-Yeah.
[Zeina] Are you pranking us? Show us.
"Family vacation?" Family?
That showed me where I stand with LO.
They're related?
They're not relatable.
-But, no. Sorry.
-[laughs]
The other day at her house,
she said that she doesn't
see them as that close to her.
But she's close enough
to go on holiday with them?
I wouldn't travel
with someone I'm not close with.
If you travel with somebody, you're close.
[Hanna] So wait. Ebraheem's there?
Yeah, yeah. She's there with everybody.
Yeah, with nobodies.
[chuckles] She's there with the nobodies.
It's fine.
She is like that.
So we did think, you know, we could do
-a little a business shower for you.
-Oh.
So, to celebrate you, we got you
some presents from all of us.
Oh, my God! Guys, really?
Everybody should celebrate
their new business
the way you would a new baby.
Super, super important,
and you need everyone to come and support.
[all clapping]
Oh, wow!
Oh, my God!
The cake was cute.
It was like, "Let's go."
We're rolling up our sleeves
and we have a lot of work.
Please, this is too much.
-Oh, my God.
-This is from all of us.
I feel my friendship circle
is now complete.
-Aw.
-That's sweet.
[Zeina] Thank you.
[Lojain giggling]
-[Danya] I'll tell you something.
-[Lojain] Tell us.
So me and Ebraheem are hopefully
going to open a coffee shop
called the Besties Café.
[Lojain] Nice.
The cutest concept ever. I love it.
-[Lojain] You know?
-All besties go there.
-All the besties.
-[Lojain] Yeah. But Bliss,
he's like, "You and Ebraheem
are doing this project,
when you should be at home."
When he says this, I get upset
because I want to be successful,
and I want to open this business
with Ebraheem.
Also, I want to be with my kids,
and I am with my kids.
I honestly understand Bliss.
I see where he's coming from,
and I would advise you
not to go through with this business.
I'm 100% sure that in the end,
you'll have to compromise.
You'll either give up the business
or the friendship or the relationship.
I don't care what Salem thinks.
It's his opinion.
He can keep it to himself. I don't care.
We're not doing this business for money.
-She has her own priority.
-[Ebraheem] It's not the same.
Her home, husband, her kids.
So she's now
-Every woman has a home and kids.
-Hold on.
Let me tell you something.
Salem, please stop talking.
I don't like people to bother Danya.
He kept going.
You're not very supportive
of women in business.
[Salem] Not at all.
Even the person who's managing
my contracting company is a woman.
Danya was trying to take the conversation
in a completely different direction
to show me up or embarrass me.
But no, excuse me. You can't beat me.
As a woman, she should work if she wishes
in order to feel successful and capable.
And her husband is supposed to support
and encourage her.
If you haven't explained it from the start
to your husband that you're
Danya is not a child.
No, I'm not talking about age at all,
or respect or being male or female.
The next thing I know,
it turned into me being a sexist
and against women and such,
when I 100% support women.
Danya, we're saying this because we care.
I'm giving you advice
based on my own experience.
I'm passing that on to you for free.
I think you are all wise enough
to make your own decisions.
-You want to open a coffee shop, open it.
-No, but
You want to partner with her,
partner with her.
She knows at the end of the day
what's her role as a mother
and she's not going to stop
taking care of her children.
It's their personal decision.
No one should stand in their way.
In fact, I think it's a good thing
for their friendship, and I support her.
I have one thing to say.
Um Honestly, it's, uh
My sister and my dear friend, Danya,
-but, uh
-What?
Just say it.
-I met Safa.
-[Danya and LJ] What?
[Danya] When?
Few days ago.
-[Lojain] Just you and Safa?
-Just me and Safa.
Why?
What's the reason?
What's the reason, Ebraheem?
Why did you meet up with her? Why?
Now it makes sense because she and Fahad
were having a conversation
and I heard something like,
"I didn't tell her."
Maybe she was scared
that I heard this conversation,
that she met you
and that she didn't tell Zeina.
-Now it makes sense.
-No. Listen.
She thinks maybe I'll tell Zeina.
But, hello! I'm not like that.
Why would I tell Zeina?
And she was scared
that I would go and tell Zeina.
What kind of a friendship is this?
The friendship is legit fake.
So, you called Safa or did she call you?
We both agreed to meet.
But who called who first?
-We talked to each other on Instagram.
-You messaged first?
I texted her.
She didn't say hi to you at her getaway
when you said hello.
[Lojain] Maybe she was scared of Zeina.
-She doesn't want Zeina or you to know.
-Okay.
-Why is she scared of Zeina?
-Because Zeina is scary.
She tries to intimidate people.
I'm starting to realize that Safa
is actually the one that is the problem,
not Zeina.
Believe it or not,
she could have fixed the problem
between me and Zeina,
-but instead she fueled the fire.
-[Ebraheem] That's true.
She went behind my back, talking to Zeina,
making Zeina even more mad
about me and you.
And now she's reaching out
to my best friend,
trying to get him on her side.
I don't know why he likes Safa.
I'd rather he met up with Zeina,
than he met up with Safa.
He'll find out what kind of person she is.
Today we will go get Fahad his tattoo
and see if we can actually prank Safa
for that push present.
-How will she react?
-I don't know.
-Hi.
-Hi, guys.
I will write her name with my kid's name.
No, but you could do Safa
with a love heart, do you think?
Let's do it. Come on.
Don't tell her it's temporary,
because it'll look real.
That's the prank.
So where should we place it?
-Maybe here, on the shoulder.
-On the shoulder? Okay.
After I realized that
Fahad and Kris are going to be together,
I thought this would be a great time
for me to go and show up
and have this talk with Kris.
Looks good, man.
I'm taking another photo.
Let's do the same for you.
No. I've got enough.
Hey.
-What's up? What's up?
-Hi, bro. What's up?
-You good?
-All good, bro.
-What's happenin'?
-I'm out.
-Where are you goin'?
-I'm out.
-I gotta go. Hold on.
-Hey, why you running away?
-[Fahad] What's happening?
-[Kris] Hello?
[imitates wind whooshing] Out.
I'll be back.
Kris? Why you running away?
That's it. I'm not gonna
let him run away again.
I'm trying to find out
what the problem is.
I didn't come and accuse you.
I want you to explain to me
what been going on,
that's all I want to know.
Who runs away from a crime scene?
A guilty person.
[closing theme music playing]
