1 Dad? No! Die! When Dion's power struck that lightning rod, I could feel every molecule of my body being torn apart.
And then I was floating.
I didn't understand what happened.
All I knew was one minute I was dead, and the next, I wasn't.
It took a whole day for my body to completely reform.
And another day to walk to the nearest town.
It was a quiet place off the beaten path.
I didn't know anyone, but, um, they didn't know me either, so I figured I could make a fresh start, put everything that happened behind me.
So you spend two years in this quaint little town, and then what? You realize you want your old life back? Is that why you're here? I told you.
