We made our way to a, um, little chest, and there's a load of, like, uh, stone idols and skulls and shells in front of us, and there's a padlock.
On the chest, there was a combination, but it would say things like, "count the number of shells and then minus 17 in order to open the chest.
" Plus 21, so I'll do the second one.
25 minus 6.
We open the chest, and we need, uh, two ropes and a map.
At this point in the adventure, I'm feeling good, 'cause we're in first place.

Got the map? Yeah.
You guys know how to unshackle this? I happened to pick Vanessa to descend down to the cave.
I feel comfortable with her.
She makes for a great teammate.
Um, I definitely want to get to know her more.
The decision was made for me.
I'm going in this cave full of scary things, and I don't know what to expect.
I was a little disappointed Jason didn't step up and take me inside that cave.

We walked down the hillside, and then we saw everybody for the bat cave.

Ali and I get in the cave, and we are dead last, and when we went in there, there was four different couples, so we definitely need to gain some ground at this point, because I'm not going back to the lean-to.

After we get the--the ropes, the map, we have to kiss for five seconds.

So the map told us that we had to match up the symbols that were on the ends of the ropes with certain symbols that were wrapped around the tree.

And we had to, uh, hitch the ropes to the palm trees where the marking was We have to pull them both together to the sand okay.
And that's where we dig.
And pull the ropes tight.
Where they, uh, met in the middle, we had to then start digging in the sand to find this piece of Amber.
Definitely in the sand? Yes.
It says, "dig in the sand.
" All right.
Go.
When we come upon the trees, Ben and his trio were just digging, so second place.
I was happy with second place.
That far one, too.
What am I looking for? A fish.
Look at this one.
Now stop for a second.

All three of us were digging, and we found the Amber.
It was like a straight sprint down the sand to the finish line.
Ken did it perfectly.
He was the one that actually dug, like, two strokes, and he found the Amber.

I'm making sand angels, whatever works, just to find this piece of Amber.
We got down to the beach side, and I was excited.
I saw Jesse and Tara digging, so I knew that we still had a chance.

We dug and found it within two seconds, and we took off.

We're headed to the finish line, and Ken is right up our backside.

Does your heart rule your mind or vice versa? In my business life, my head definitely rules, but I think in my personal life, my heart rules.

I really, genuinely do like chase, and as far as real feelings are concerned, chase is probably the only guy here that I could begin to develop a deeper connection with.
