Jefferson Parish Yeah, and the truck-- saw a body in the driveway.
He's laying on the ground? Gonna be 5'3", about 140.
crime scene.
Just so you know, he's got a gun.
That's another shooter.
You're all right.
Just calm down.
Calm down.
He kept coming, and then he shot him again.
How many shots did y'all hear? At least a dozen.
Wow.
Who shot at you, cuz? They running.
They running.
Stop.
Stop! They running.
Come around.
The other way.
Oh.
Oh.
Whoa, whoa.
I make a living in the movies, but for the past 20 years I've also been a cop.
And along with some of the finest deputies on the force, I serve the people of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.
Code 94-G, shots fired.
My name is Steven Seagal.
All units respond.
That's right, Steven Seagal, Deputy Sheriff.
It's Friday night.
People like to party.
What's going on, man? [Laughs.]
Most people in this parish are nice people just trying to have innocent fun and a good time.
But there's always the bad guys out there.
Drink, get rowdy.
We are out there to make it safe for everybody.
Tell them to jump up.
[Siren wailing.]
We just got a call of shots fired.
We're not far from the call, so we're gonna go into this little neighborhood called Orleans village and see if we can find out what's going on.
That's the Rue Racine right here.
[Radio chatter.]
Man, we got here real quick.
Yeah, look at that.
on the Rue Racine.
You know whose vehicle this is, ma'am? Mine.
It's ours.
The gunfire, it sounded like it was between the two houses, so we just fell off the bed onto the ground.
Looks like this couple owns the vehicle.
It was parked in front of their house.
They were sleeping in bed when they heard the shots fired.
How many shots did y'all hear? At least a dozen.
Wow.
It sounded like a shotgun and a handgun.
Looks like 9, Why ours? I don't believe this.
At this point, we don't know if this vehicle is the intended target or they just got caught in the cross fire.
Johnny, let's get in the car and start looking, because, you know, we don't need 20 people here.
Right.
We have a description of the shooters.
Two black males.
We're now gonna be canvassing the area, looking for the suspects.
That's another shooting.
Just around the corner.
[Siren wailing.]
Son of a bitch.
[Siren warbling.]
Move.
[Radio chatter.]
That's why he's in shock right now.
Which one is his car? This one right here.
Something going on.
We just arrived on this scene, found another vehicle shot up and two young black males who seem very agitated.
They may have been the people that were being shot at.
We're gonna interview some of the people in the area and determine whether or not this is related to the same shooting we just came from.
Do you know what happened? The studio's in Orleans Village? Yes.
Orleans Village is the neighborhood that we just came from.
They may have been parked across the street from the other car that was shot up.
That's not a gunshot, right? They came here to report the incident because this is where their mother lives.
Who shot you at you, cuz? How many was there? I don't know.
Uh-huh.
It appears that the car from the first location was hit while the shooters were aiming at these guys.
When they came out of the studio, he said his brother was driving the car, and he ain't yet got into the car when two guys come running up and start shooting at them.
And you don't know who? And he wentYou know.
They're claiming that they don't know who the shooters are, but around here, my experience is that 90% of the time or more, they do know who the shooters are.
They have a street code where they just won't tell the police.
Gonna talk to that other victim, see what he's got to say.
Mm.
Face that way.
Hey, did you take some drugs or something? Man, no, man.
Appears to be in shock.
Let's pull him out of the car.
Just like that.
Just stay there.
Stay still.
Put him in cuffs for his protection and ours.
Just checking his vital signs.
Man, calm down, dude.
Be still.
Listen.
You're not shot.
You're not hurt.
You need to be still, let us check your blood pressure, all right? You understand that? All right? You want to let these people help you.
[Whining unintelligibly.]
You understand what I'm telling you? Thank you very much.
Somebody may come back and talk to y'all.
We were just talking to the family and try to just make them understand the importance of realizing how severe this could be.
The miracle is, nobody got killed, 'cause there was a lot of bullets flying.
So at this point, we're gonna leave it up to crime scene detectives to gather what kind of information they can, and we'll put it all together and see if we can figure out who's who in the zoo and how to get the bad guys.
All right, let's go.
[Radio chatter.]
Keep your eyes open, y'all.
When we patrol, we ride in two SUVs, me, Marcus, and Johnny in the first car, and Lawrence, Larry, and Brian are following behind.
Back here in Woodmere, we continue to get numerous complaints.
It's innocents calling about illegal drug activity they believe coming on the street.
You see these guys in the alley? They saw us.
They going through the cut.
They running.
They running.
They running.
Stop! Stop! You see these guys in the alley? They saw us.
They going through the cut.
They running.
They running.
They running.
Stop! Stop! [Tires squeal.]
We're gonna drive around the back in case they run through the other side.
Come here, man.
Put your hands on top of your head.
Yeah, turn around.
What you running for? What you doing in the back back there? There he is right there.
Why y'all running? You got any priors? What you got? How old are you? [Chuckles.]
Boy, oh, boy.
You getting started early.
He may have ran because he had drugs or weapons on him.
We're gonna just retrace the steps.
You know, they have their own paths, and they know which way they're gonna run if confronted by law enforcement.
Once again, we're looking for a needle in a haystack if he did.
They got stash places all over these apartment blocks.
Hey, Johnny.
Oh-ho-ho.
I don't even know if it's real.
Oh, that's real, and it's loaded.
It couldn't be a storage place for it.
Well, that is.
If they have to get in a gunfight or go kill somebody or whatever, it's right--it's a stash place.
They can run right by here, pick it, and keep going.
Crime scene will come, photograph it, take it.
They'll run it for fingerprints and try to see if they can figure out, you know, who it's registered to or who may have had it or if it's been used in a violent crime.
Can't tie the runner to the gun, so if he doesn't have any attachments, we're gonna let him go.
You know they sling drugs back here? I mean, do you see it? I don't be up here.
I didn't say that.
Do you see it? No, I don't be up here.
He clear? Yeah, he's straight.
You can roll.
You finished with him? Yeah, we finished.
Thanks for the good work today, buddy.
Thank you.
Good to see you.
The important thing is, there's one less gun on the street.
I can get your autograph? All right.
This is an area where a lot of children play.
And if one of them had come across this gun, they could have been injured or, worse, even killed.
There's still, you know, good people that live back here, and they just want to keep it clean.
Once we get the call, we pretty much swamp the area, try to flush all the bad guys out.
Greater Jefferson Parish area is a lot more cosmopolitan than people think.
There's a lot of great restaurants around here.
My team has been working really hard, and I wanted to take them out for a great dinner.
Horinoya has probably the best Japanese food in the New Orleans area.
I'm here to meet the master chef and set up the dinner.
Sensei, Konichiwa.
[Both speaking Japanese.]
As much as I love Louisiana and have been down here since my childhood, I've also been raised in Japan.
Fell in love with it and then started studying the martial arts over there.
It's a big part of my life.
It's amazing.
It's, like, crazy delicious.
[Chuckles.]
[Chuckles.]
A lot of authentic Japanese food are things that no Americans would ever think of eating.
So I wanted to kind of mess with the guys a little bit and order some outrageous stuff and see who will try what and who won't.
[Speaking english.]
Okay.
[laughs.]
The monkfish is this one winter dish.
It's the ugliest face in the world.
We'll give the head to Lawrence.
But the meat is very delicious.
He's agreed to help me give my team the heebie-jeebies and the Willie-jillies.
So we're gonna have some fun.
Come on, let's see what this is here.
They look youngsters.
But let's say something to them anyway.
What y'all doing? Who's out here fighting? Anybody? All right, y'all be safe.
Good boys.
See, we got good children out here too.
Mm-Hmm.
Bravo 10 to 2 Bravo 2.
Do you have a 30 for us? They got the shooter? Yeah.
The suspect and the victim is at the same location.
We got to go.
Just get the [Bleep.]
Out the way.
We got to go.
Just get the [Bleep.]
Out the way.

One victim's been shot in the chest.
Apparently the victim and the shooter are both in the same location.
We're just headed over there to see if we can secure the scene.
to 657 Hunterbrook.

[Radio chatter.]
Y'all is killing me, son.
You'll be all right.
Just calm down.
Calm down.
You're all right.
Come on, come on, come on.
You're gonna be all right, man.
Hang in there.
Where's the shooter? He's got one up to his upper left chest right here.
Was the suspect shot as well? No, sir.
It appears as though we have a white male with a single gunshot wound to the upper chest area.
The victim's being transported right now to an area hospital.
[Siren wailing.]
[Dog barks.]
What's going on? So maybe a self-defense issue.
Could be.
Two-shot derringer.
You don't see that very often.
Why don't y'all tell us what happened? We had just met him at the store.
My friend, he was talking about, he wanted to hang out with somebody.
My friend was like, "yeah, come hang out with me," or whatever she was doing.
That's when it all started.
There's a young lady who lives here that invited somebody here who she didn't really know.
And he was apparently, according to her, very drunk.
We got back to the house, and he started disrespecting me, telling me I was being a bitch.
Okay.
I said, "look, stop disrespecting me, or you're gonna have to leave my house.
" I went and got my daddy.
I said, "look, this man's starting this stuff.
" Then he was like-- he was standing over there, and he said, "I'm gonna knock your [Bleep.]
Head off," and came at me like this.
He became abusive, threatening her.
My dad fired a warning shot.
He came after my dad.
My dad shot him.
And then that was it.
You see that right there, Johnny, up on the wall? Yeah.
That's the warning shot.
But it went into the ceiling.
And he just completely ignored you when you told him the first time? Yeah.
And as he advanced on you, that's when you fired at him? Yeah, yeah.
But the thing of it is, if you told him, "get out of the house" And he won't leave and he charges you, you fire a warning shot, and he's still charging you You know, a lot of times, we're investigating criminal shootings and working to pull illegal guns off the street.
But here's a case where a private citizen had to use his own firearm to protect his home and his family.
Put this in here? All right, we're gonna put it right here for you, okay? Thank you.
It's unloaded as well, all right? All right, good luck to you, sir.
[Exhales forcefully.]
[Radio chatter.]
Larry, Johnny, y'all love Louisiana cuisine, as I do.
You is a connoisseur on fine foods, sir.
That's right.
But tonight we fixin' to have some Japanese cuisine.
And one of the cuisines will be as raw as it could get.
[Speaking Japanese.]
Whether it's crawling or alive or cooked, I'm willing to bite into it.
I don't get too exotic, but I'm looking forward to seeing what Steven has concocted for us.
Y'all need to take off your shoes.
Said we were coming here to eat.
I never thought we would have to get undressed.
What you guys don't know is, there's a hole down here.
I got a bad knee.
Wait.
That's all right.
I got you.
Slide your legs in.
[groans.]
You got it.
[laughter.]
Sit down a little bit.
No, don't call him old.
[Laughs.]
You want me to come over there and help you? Oh, lordy, lordy.
You guys ready to have some good food? You got to try.
Have you ever tried? [Gong resounds.]
Oh, look at that.
Lord, have mercy.
Lawrence, look at this.
That's lobster.
They cut open the tail so you can eat the meat raw.
The lobster's still moving.
It's still alive.
[Chuckles.]
I didn't care for it much 'cause they brought it out still moving.
Lawrence, you want to pet him? No.
[laughs.]
That is not my kind of food.
Can I eat him? Well, that's what we're here for is to eat him.
This is the highest-level stuff there is in Japan.
Over there, we have oysters.
We have a special kind of red clam.
Lawrence, why you didn't eaten nothing yet? You're the only one on the team who hasn't tried this.
We have shrimp.
It's special sweet shrimp meant to be eaten raw.
I'm not nibbling on that.
[Laughs.]
Uh-oh, something's coming.
I show you-- this is a monkfish.
Oh, this is a delicacy right here, boy.
Take a look at this face now.
That's related to somebody I know right there.
We want you to try it, Lawrence.
I do not want to try it, okay? [Gong resounds.]
Now, what is this, sir? That's uni.
That's sea urchin gonads.
Sea urchins have gonads? Yeah.
You want a piece? I'm really dumbfounded.
I don't know what we could do to please Lawrence.
You really should just broaden your horizons.
Okay, Lawrence-- how much you want to bet the next thing that comes, he could eat? [Speaking Japanese.]
Now, if Lawrence don't eat this, he's gonna get a bitch slap.
Finally he's eating.
[Laughter.]
I'm just messing with Lawrence.
I like to give him a hard time, but it's all in good fun.
Thank you so much.
[Speaking Japanese.]
Thank you very much.
Ah.
[laughs.]
Stop pushing on my leg.
Lawrence, why don't you roll out the table? All right.
You need a hand, brother? All in all, I thought it was a pretty good night.
The guys broadened their palates.
We had some of the best Japanese food that we have in New Orleans.
