that the assault was unprovoked.

to find Ms. Bayley guilty
on accounts of assault
causing bodily harm
and assault with a weapon.
This court should not allow her to hide
her unprovoked attack on Mr. Talbot
behind a curtain of self-defence.

Byron Vance, and Chance Wheeler,
these are all Tyrell Talbot's friends,
but these five young men
have so much more in common.
They were all known to the police
prior to this alleged assault.
Together they were charged

They all have the same "1032" tattoo,
which identifies them
as part of a gang,
and they are the
Crown's primary witness
against my client.
I'm at a loss as to why the Crown
is wasting the court's

This "group", which has a history
of engaging in criminal
activity together,
forcibly confined Vi in her salon,
destroyed her property,
and threatened and assaulted her.
Vi never set out to
hurt anyone that day.
