We're headed over to meet with narcotics where they have obtained a warrant for a particular residence and an arrest warrant for an individual who they believe to be selling crack cocaine.
Our suspect's a black male, about 6 feet tall, thick build, shoulder-length dreads.
Inside the apartment, there's supposedly a .
45 caliber gun that's in the bedroom that's all the way in the back.
What kind of priors he got? Uh, we don't know his last name, but we have a couple informants that gave us good intelligence.
Intelligence says there's firearms in the back of the house, which doesn't mean that they wouldn't have time to get to it before we kick the door in.
That's why we've got to get in quick.
It's going to be me with the shield going in first, followed by the long gun.

The guy we were looking for was apprehended, but another guy tried to swallow something, possibly drugs.
So the team decided to pepper spray him.

The people who are dealing don't seem to think twice about any consequences.

They're amazing.
Spending Valentine's day at home with Steven and my son is truly wonderful.
And all these beautiful surprises, just amazing.
But most importantly, I'm just glad that Steven is home safe.
Being a police officer is rewarding; It's fun.
It's fulfilling, the thing that makes us different from most people is that we raised our hand, and we took an oath.
And the real guys will give their life for a total stranger at the drop of a hat, if he has to.
But conversely, in looking at this beautiful baby and his mother, I also look at all my other fellow officers and myself in a sort of a new light, you know, and hope and pray every day that we all get to come home at night.
