The Hardy Boys (2020) s02e06 Episode Script

Hunting an Intruder

1
- No!
- Previously on Hardy Boys
Where's the eye?
You know where it is, Frank.
- No!
- Keep it safe
- My name is Olivia Kowalski.
Your mother's Anya Kowalski,
the fortune teller.
The Circle is vulnerable
for the first time in years.
We have to move fast because
someone else is vying for control.
It's the same person
who ordered Laura's death.
The tracker works. She got a signal.
- Why'd she let us go?
- Because it wasn't coming from me.
- There's a bomb!
No one was supposed to get hurt.
- Mom! No! Mom!
- Biff
The girls confessed, but they're
claiming they never hurt the Gilroy kid.
That someone paid them to do the bombing.
Whoever it is wore a demon's mask,
used a voice changer.
Let's, uh, keep this quiet.
I'm just going to leave you
my radio. If the day ever comes
when you need the services
of a world-class thief,
you can use it to get in touch when you're
ready to call in that favor. JB Cox.
- Something worse is coming.
They were here today, I swear.
Well, they're gone now.
Hey, boys,
why is it that Stratemeyer thinks
that you guys have The Eye, hm?
Because we were all down here
when it was reforging,
and they haven't come after me at all.
- That's 'cause you're
a detective. We're just kids.
- Shows what they know, huh?
Let's do a quick sweep.
- We should be telling him
the truth about The Eye.
- Not now.
- Okay, well then when?
- Alright, let's get out of here.
We should go to the cops, huh?
- Uh, we can't do that.
- It's not normally
my first instinct, either,
but, uh, these Stratemeyer Global
guys, they're, uh,
they're dangerous.
Yeah. It's just that
I overheard Mayor Krassner
and Deputy Riley at the hospital.
I don't know if we can trust them.
- You think they're on the take?
- Well, I don't wanna risk it.
- Wow. Then, I guess it's up to us, huh?
- Really?
- Yeah.
But, there is one thing that
I think you guys should know.
And I don't think you're
going to like it very much.
I'm working with your grandmother.
We'll talk about it at home.
- I didn't see that coming.
- Huh. Me neither.
So, when you said
you were renovating the house
in Dixon City--
- I lied.
- Okay.
- You think Grandma's connected
to Stratemeyer Global?
- No, she's not just connected.
She is Stratemeyer Global. Here.
Follow the money.
After George Estabrook's plane crashes,
George Estabrook Enterprises
gets sold to Stratemeyer Global.
Now, these guys, they're into
absolutely everything.
Shipping, aerospace, technology, mining.
You name it, they're there.
As far as the world is concerned,
your grandmother just sold off
her father's company.
Except that in reality,
all of this is her. The whole thing.
And she's using Stratemeyer Global
to control The Circle of The Eye
without anybody knowing, from prison.
- So, she can't send me
a birthday card from the slammer,
but she can send hired goons after us?
- Your grandmother didn't
have you kidnapped.
- How do you know?
- 'Cause you're family.
She'd never hurt you.
Whoever came after you guys,
they're going rogue.
- Grandma told you all of this?
- No. Grandma doesn't know that
I know because if she did,
there's no way she would ask me to help.
- And what exactly
are you helping her with?
- Someone wants to put your
grandmother out of her company,
out of The Circle,
and she thinks it's the same
person who killed your mother.
- How's that possible?
Stefan died in the tunnel collapse.
- Yeah, how could he even--
- Stefan ran your mother off the road,
but there's no way that guy acted alone.
That guy didn't give orders.
He followed orders,
so that's why I'm looking
into all of this stuff.
Find out who's giving the orders now.
- But it could still be Grandma.
- No, it's not.
- You just said she was controlling--
- Guys!
Your grandmother is a heck
of a lot of things,
but she's not a killer.
She wouldn't want to harm
her own daughter.
Family, legacy, all this stuff
means the world to her.
So as far as your mom's concerned,
we all want the same thing.
We want the truth.
Somebody's making a power play.
We just gotta figure out
who that person is.
Could be someone from
the original families, right?
One of the, uh, Khans or the Nabokovs?
Yeah, could be,
but they're not talking.
They've all closed ranks.
- Why? Are they scared?
- No. I think they're waiting
to see how this all shakes out.
- Could be Dean McFarlane.
He led us to Grandma and The Circle
in the first place.
He could have wanted her
out of the way, so he could take over.
- Yeah, I thought so, too,
but turns out I was wrong.
Dean McFarlane was poisoned for this.
- No!
- No way.
Who poisoned him?
- Uh, someone named Olivia.
She said that she is
Anya Kowalski's daughter.
- What do you mean "she said"?
You talked to her?
- Uh, yeah, I did. Um
Turns out that you guys weren't the only
ones to get kidnapped yesterday.
Though I prefer to call it
a reverse interrogation.
- Oh yeah? What'd you find out?
- Yeah.
- That she claims
she knows who ordered your mother's death.
She's willing to share that information
with me if I go to Dixon City.
What are you waiting for? Go see her!
- No, no, guys. It's not that simple.
It's just-- It's not that simple.
Olivia, she wants to destroy The Circle,
but I don't know if I can trust her.
I'm trying to find these people,
expose them,
bring them to justice the right way,
And Olivia, she's trying to
She just wants
to kill everybody. I get it,
but is that really such
a downside at this point?
- Joe.
I'm not going.
- What are you talking about?
Dad, you have to go!
- We're not letting you stay.
- It didn't exactly work out all that well
when I left the last time, did it?
- Dad, you said you wanted the truth.
Alright, we want the truth, too.
- If Olivia gets to this
mystery person first
then the truth dies with them.
Could you really go your whole life
not knowing who's responsible
for Mom's death?
- Alright. Here's the last box.
And there's one more thing.
If Olivia is looking for this, um,
it's probably best that
I don't have it on me, so
No one knows we have this.
Keep it safe.
- We will.
- Okay. Oh, one more thing. Um
Here.
This is the admin code to your
grandmother's alarm system
in case you guys wanna
do any more snooping.
This'll keep the armed guards
off your back.
- Well, we could have
used this a lot sooner.
- Well, you could have
told me a lot sooner.
Hm?
Come here. I-I don't really know
what I'm walking into,
so, um, I'll be in touch when I can.
Love you, Joe. Love you, Frank.
- Love you, Dad.
- Yeah, you're okay, too.
- Yeah, thank you. Thank you.
- Why aren't we telling him
the truth about The Eye?
- Well, if we tell him now, he won't go.
We'll tell him when he gets back.
- Is it connected? Your case and the kids?
- I'm gonna find out.
I just want to make sure
you're good if I go.
- I'll be fine.
- I can stay. I can. I can stay.
- Don't do that.
You wouldn't be here
if you hadn't already made up your mind.
Thank you for bringing the clothes.
- You're welcome.
- I'm going to get Biff's things
and set up the spare room for her.
School's canceled for the next
couple of days, so I can just
be here and be at the house. You can go.
- Jesse's gonna be okay.
She's a hero.
- I don't need any more heroes.
- Come here.
- Hey.
- Yeah?
- Whoever did this to Jesse,
you need to get them.
- Yeah.
- Your dad seems happy.
- Yup. New town, new romance.
Like he's a whole new person.
- You seem less happy
- No, I-I'm fine.
It's just he hasn't dated
anyone since the divorce,
and she just kind of
came out of nowhere.
- Coffees.
Looks like they're getting
Wilt's back in business.
Just can't believe something like
this could happen in Bridgeport.
- Well, you'd be surprised.
- Well, I'm changing all my locks.
Probably get
an alarm system for the house.
The office, too. Better safe than sorry.
- So, help me out here
because I'm still trying
to wrap my head around all this.
Why were you two chasing the bombers?
- Well, technically, we were
only chasing one bomber.
Yeah.
- Word on the street says
the Hardy boys were involved.
- I didn't realize you knew them.
- Only by reputation. They found
that poor kid in the woods.
- Ah.
I guess they fancy themselves
some kind of detectives or something.
Like their dad.
- Okay, but I still don't get it.
How did you know it was the girls?
- It's kind of hard to explain.
- Try me.
- Well, long story short, we had
detention with Vanessa and Lola,
and just kind of figured
it out from there.
- What a relief.
I was worried you two were involved
in something you shouldn't be.
With dangerous people
you shouldn't be messing with.
Who wants ice cream?
- Me.
- Yeah.
- Cool.
Yeah.
- Was there ever an incident
with Vanessa or Lola?
- Never.
- Anything that would have
caused them to retaliate?
- You think this is my fault?
- Of course not.
I-I'm just trying to understand
Why your shop?
I love your shop. Everyone does.
- Not everyone, apparently.
- Is there anyone you can think of
who might have it out for you?
- I don't know, Callie
Just doesn't make sense to me.
I just want to rebuild and move on.
- But this wasn't random, Wilt.
It was carefully planned.
Tom Elroy was framed.
The bomb was hidden in the video game
days ahead of time.
Whoever did this chose
your shop for a reason.
- Well, we're lucky
that the damage wasn't worse.
I mean, if I didn't close up
for the parade,
it wouldn't just be
Jesse Hooper who was
Well, let's stop talking about my shop
like it's the only thing that matters.
I'm not the only victim here.
- The phone company's here.
Hey, did the bomb take out
the phone lines?
- Yeah, the alarm company techs are trying
to get their system up and running, too.
Unfortunate for them,
being right next door.
- What do you got?
- Wilt's shares a wall
with the alarm company.
The same wall the video game was on.
The blast destroyed
their monitoring systems.
- Wilt's was never the target.
It's just a decoy.
- All this to take out
someone's alarm system.
But whose?
- Bring your pillow.
It might make you feel
more at home at my place.
- Right.
- You know, I can't promise
that the pullout couch
is going to be any more
comfortable than your own bed,
but sure beats the chairs at the hospital.
I'm going to go get some groceries later.
Any special requests for dinner?
- I don't care.
- What about in the morning?
Any favorite cereal or jam,
juice--
- Just whatever, Trudy.
I really don't care.
- I heard the doctors talking.
They sounded really optimistic.
- Can we just go?
Okay, so
the alarm system has a failsafe.
If the power goes out,
the backup batteries kick in,
but if the dedicated hub
is disrupted by, say,
an explosion that takes out
the local lines, then, um, hang on.
Then the digital communicator
needs to dial the central server
to find a new feeder and connect
to an alternate monitoring station,
leaving a 60-second window
where all the contacts and sensors
at the protected properties won't engage.
- If you say so.
- What I'm saying is
an intruder could get in,
steal something, and get out
without anyone knowing.
- Okay, so you think the bomb
was a distraction for, what, a robbery?
- That's the working theory.
- Okay, but why such an elaborate plan?
I mean, like, why not just smash
and grab or cut the phone line?
Well, it's too obvious.
A bomb at the monitoring station
takes out all the lines.
- Yeah, this is the only way
to obscure the location of the robbery.
- The bombing caused
mass panic, pulled resources,
and provided two patsies to take the fall.
It's the perfect cover.
No one knows it happened.
- Well, we do.
- So, there's only one question left.
Where was the robbery?
- And what was stolen?
- And who did it?
- Okay, three questions.
- Do you remember the signal?
- Four questions.
- What signal?
- Five questions.
- Phil, would you please?
- Was that a question?
- Phil!
Stratemeyer picked up a signal around
the same time as the bombing.
At least within 60 seconds.
- A signal of what?
- They have a device that tracks
the energy signature of The Eye.
- So, you think The Eye's back in play?
- Maybe, or what if
there's something else in town
that has the same energy signature?
- How do you know it's not The Eye?
- Call it a hunch.
Look, I caught a glimpse of their tracker,
and it had these coordinates.
- Um
- You memorized that?
- Yeah.
You figure out these coordinates,
we find out the location of the robbery.
- Okay, that's great in theory,
but how are we gonna--
- Ooh! Ooh! We can map it!
I do cartography at
the Sea Cadets all the time.
I'll go get my nautical maps
and my world atlas!
- Can't we just use a globe?
- Globe only gives us degrees.
We need minutes and seconds.
I'll be right back!
Or, alternatively, what we could do
is this really cool method
where we figure out where we are
and then work our way to the coordinates.
Takes a lot longer
and it's way less accurate,
but if you guys are up for the challenge,
we can use celestial navigation.
Does anyone have
any star risings memorized?
And this is the catch. Can't be the sun--
- Go!
- Bye!
- Uh, I'll be right back, guys.
Hey.
Phil let me in. I hope that's okay.
- Yeah, no, th-that's fine. It's cool.
Is everything okay?
Did something happen to Dennis?
- I just needed to get away
from the hospital for a bit.
I thought maybe we could talk.
- Oh.
Right.
- Do you wanna go for a bike ride?
- Right now? No, I can't.
I got to stay and help with
You kn-- Actually,
I've got some time.
Where do you want to go?
- Ever been to the lighthouse?
- Uh, no.
I've always wanted
to-to check it out, though.
I-I'm gonna-- I'm gonna write
a note. I-I'll be right there.
- Where are my maps, Tiffany?!
Why would I move your stupid maps?
- Here's that dumb phone book you wanted.
- Okay. Thank you.
- Who do you even know
in Ducksworth anyway?
- W-well, no one. It's for Biff.
- She's that girl you like.
- What? No! I
- She's cute.
Way too cute for you.
- Okay, just get outta my room.
I need to find the maps.
Come on, let's go. Come on.
- You're so weird, Philly.
- The maps were behind the door, Tiffany!
Every second counts!
Hey
- Hey.
- So, I was thinking
we should probably talk about that kiss.
- Yeah, yeah, we should.
- So, was it just adrenaline, or
was it something more?
- Oh, come on.
Chet, you can't tell that I've liked you
since I first saw you in detention?
- Okay, see, that's what I thought,
but then you mentioned Erica,
and she showed up
out of nowhere, and I just
I don't know, I thought,
maybe you weren't into guys.
- I like both.
- You good with that?
- Yeah, I'm good.
It's good to know.
- Do you want to kiss again?
- I do.
- Okay! Let's figure out
who got robbed. Move.
Move, move, move. Let's go. Come on.
Come on. Today.
So first, we plot the degrees,
which take us here.
And then we plot the minutes,
which take us down to Bridgeport
- Here.
- which takes us here. And then,
we zoom in by doing a little bit of math
by dividing the seconds by six,
which brings us down to the tenths.
Do you need a calculator?
- Uh, no, I got it. Math's my thing.
And then we jump from
the nautical map to the town map
by matching the shorelines,
and then scaling accordingly.
And if we do that, it takes us
right here.
That's where the signal came from.
- That's my grandma's house.
- Can I help you, sir?
- No, I'm good, thanks.
- Okay then.
- I'm so glad you decided
to join me, Fenton.
You're going to be very useful.
But for now, just rest.
Can't believe
you haven't been here yet.
Ah, you know. I'm a busy guy.
So, what do you think?
Worth the wait?
- Definitely. Yeah.
- Hey, can I ask you something?
- Sure.
- You and Dennis
don't really makes sense to me.
- That's not a question.
- I mean, you're so you know, and
He's just a little--
- Kind of a jerk?
Yeah.
- And you're not?
- You think I'm a jerk?
Yeah, I guess I'm a bit
of a jerk sometimes.
- Like a part-time jerk.
You know
you can't just keep pretending
to be his girlfriend.
- No.
- What happens when he gets better?
- I'll have to figure that out.
- Looks like we got a new lead.
You wanna join us?
- No.
I can't really handle
other people right now.
I think I'm going to stay
and watch the storm roll in.
Do you want to stay with me?
- I do.
But, I shouldn't.
- Hey, Joe?
Be careful.
- So, no security?
- No, we're good.
- Okay, so where do we start?
- Duh. The secret room, obviously,
- No, there's no point.
- That room's armed with a kill switch.
If somebody tried to break in,
it would have exploded.
Whatever was stolen was stolen
from somewhere else in the house.
- Okay, back up. There's a secret room
armed with a kill switch?
- Yeah, it's like a whole thing.
George Estabrook was a tad eccentric.
- Just a tad.
- Okay I don't want to rain on
our little search party,
but how are we going to figure out
what was stolen if it was stolen?
- I'll figure it out.
- How?
- Uh, well, we search
for signs of theft, right?
You know, dust outlines,
tilted picture frames
- A window that's been jimmied open?
- Exactly.
- No. No, no, no,
this window's been jimmied open.
This must have been the point of entry.
The intruder couldn't
re-lock it behind him.
- Sixty seconds isn't a long time.
They must've known where they were going.
- And exactly what they were stealing.
Whatever it was had to be close.
- Let's split up.
- Okay.
Hey, check this out.
- There's a crystal missing.
- What's wrong with you?
- It's nothing.
- Ten bucks says it's something.
- Hide! Secret room!
Now! Go! Get the door!
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
It's that guy Mack from Stratemeyer.
He's got the tracker.
- What's he tracking?
- That was the lab.
Results are finally in
on the hunk of rock
we found in the chamber.
Let me guess.
- Inconclusive.
- No.
The relic's real.
That doesn't add up.
If it really is The Eye,
where's the power?
- Million-dollar question.
Want to hear the craziest thing?
It's alien.
- I knew it. I told you it was aliens.
- Not little green men, idiot! Alien.
Foreign. Other. Apparently,
the relic's made of
unfamiliar unidentified elements
not naturally found on Earth.
- So, what do we do with the relic?
- We lock it in the vault
until R&D lets us know
where the hell it came from,
and where its power went.
Any luck on the signal?
No.
Same coordinates as yesterday.
There's nothing here.
- The tracker can't read elevation.
You take upstairs. I'll take down.
- We can't risk them finding us.
We gotta go.
- The window.
Go, go, go, go.
Careful, careful.
Phil, what are you doing?
- Leave no trace.
Hey, Mack! Downstairs is clear,
but I wanna check
one more thing before we go.
- We gotta help him.
- You guys make a run
for the vehicles, okay?
We'll pull them the other way.
- How?
- Just trust me, okay? Go.
- Okay, we'll meet you at the attic.
- I know someone's in here.
If you think I'm bluffing, think again.
You have until the count of five
to come out and talk.
And if I get to six,
there'll be less talking.
One
Two
Three, four, five.
- Okay, okay. You got me.
But out of the two of us,
I'm the only one
that's allowed to be here.
This is private property, madam.
Are you with the alarm company?
- Do I look like a rent-a-cop?
- You look like you're trespassing.
My name is Charles Estabrook V.
I'm Gloria Estabrooks' great-nephew,
on the mother's side.
Now, may I ask you again?
What, pray tell, are you doing
in my great aunty's house?
- Your name is Philip Cohen.
You live at 25 Carmel Road
with your mother
and your father and four older sisters
and your English cocker spaniel
named Chipper.
So what, pray tell,
are you doing here, Philip?
- Okay. Here goes nothing.
- Did it work, Frank?
Frank?
Frank, did it work?
- Yeah. Go.
- Angela, we got a hit outside the house.
They won't be far behind.
Try and stay out of sight.
- I see it!
At the bottom of the fulgurite.
Just where The Eye showed me it would be.
The question is was
the Flash Stone formed by the lightning,
o-or was it attracting lightning
to this beach all this time?
Mr. Estabrook, what is it, sir?
Frank? Frank!
What did you see?
- I don't know.
It was different this time
- Okay, explain on the way. We gotta go.
Are you seeing this?
- Frank never had The Eye.
He is The Eye.
- This is above my pay grade.
We got to tell the boss.
You're right.
This is a real game changer.
But we're not telling anyone.
Did we just get struck by lightning?
- No, it hit the sand.
- Ah!
What is it?
- We'll figure it out at home.
Let's get out of here.
It's fulgurite.
The beach is known for it.
I did a project one year,
so it's kind of baked into my head.
See, sand melts at 1,800 degrees,
but lightning is 30,000 degrees.
So, when the lightning hits the sand,
the silicon melts and fuses
together while it's cooling.
And this is called lightning glass,
but you can't confuse it
with Flash Stones because--
- Okay, Phil, we get it.
We don't need the whole report.
- Wait, what'd you say? What stone?
- Flash Stones. They're a local legend.
Some New Age weirdos think they contain
high-vibrational energy,
but it doesn't exist.
- No, it does.
George wrote about it in his journal.
He pulled it out of the ground
at the beach. I saw him.
- What are you talking about?
- You mean George Estabrook?
- Sorry. When did you see this?
- In the journal.
Saw it-- Y-you saw it George's journal.
Right, Frank?
- No.
Saw it in a vision.
There's something I didn't
tell you about last fall.
I didn't just figure out that
Stefan ran my mom off the road.
I had to piece it together
with clues from The Eye.
When I touched the relic,
there was all this light and energy.
It was like The Eye got a hold
of me and it transported me
- Frank.
- It's okay.
It transported me to
the last day my mom was alive.
I saw her and Gloria fighting.
It was like it was real, only
it wasn't because they couldn't see me.
It was like my spirit or my consciousness.
I don't know.
But then I woke up,
and the tunnel collapsed.
The Eye was gone. It was over.
- Yeah, a-a-and it stayed over.
It was all done
and over--
- Until Dennis went missing.
And then the visions started again.
The energy stayed with me.
I have the power of The Eye.
- You owe me 10 bucks.
- Yeah.
- So, you've been having visions
this whole time.
That's how you've been solving the case?
- Yeah.
- All those hunches,
all the lucky guesses, it was all
magic.
- Okay, hang on. It wasn't all magic.
There was still
s-some classic sleuthing in there,
especially on my part.
- That is true.
We did have to connect the dots.
But, yeah, it was mostly visions.
Except today was different. You know,
when I saw George on the beach,
it was like a real event.
It's like I was actually there 'cause
George saw me.
- Wait, what? Are you sure?
- Maybe you imagined it.
- Maybe the lightning did hit you.
- No, guys, he looked at me.
From the past!
- That-that's impossible.
- Is it, Phil?
Given everything that I've just said,
seeing through time, that's where
we're going to draw a line?
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
How bad is it that Angela
knows my name and where I live?
- It's bad.
- No, no. Scale of one to 10?
- Twenty.
No, I-I'm being serious.
Relax, Phil.
If she was gonna hurt us,
she would have done it already.
- It's late. I, uh, should go.
- I'll drive you home.
- We need to talk.
- We should've talked
about telling everyone.
- It was getting too hard
to keep it a secret.
- You could have told Dad!
He could have helped!
- He is helping.
He's working his side of the case.
We're working ours.
It's better this way, Joe.
It's not just you and me alone in this.
We have our friends now.
- Well, what if someone slips up?
What if Stratemeyer finds out?
Who knows what they'll do to you?
- I don't think we need to worry about.
- Oh yeah?
Did The Eye tell you that?
- If they hurt me,
they risk damaging the power.
If they kill me, it could be gone forever.
- What if they send a team
of-of morally corrupt scientists
who cart you off in some quarantine tent
like an extraterrestrial?
- I don't think that's gonna happen.
- You told me to keep you in check.
You said you'd listen to me!
- We would've come to the same conclusion.
- We're supposed to be
doing this together!
- We are, Joe! Just trust me!
The Eye will lead us to the crystal!
The crystal will lead us to that
shadow man for my vision!
- We didn't need The Eye last year.
Maybe we don't need it at all now.
L-look, if we got rid of the power--
- No!
We need it. We'd be lost without it.
- Is everything okay with Joe?
- Yeah, it's fine. He's just worried.
I'm fine. You know,
I've been dealing with this for a while.
I've got it under control.
- Okay.
- You were amazing today, by the way.
All the stuff you figured out
about the alarm company.
- Well, what can I say? I'm a genius,
and I get bonus points for doing it
without any mystical, magical powers.
- Touché.
- You know
I get why you kept it a secret
for as long as you did, but
you didn't have to. Not from me.
The Eye gives you the knowledge
to get what you want most, right?
- In a way, yeah.
- So, what's it showing you?
- Well, you know.
It's all the Dennis stuff.
- Does that feel right to you?
Finding out what happened
to Dennis is the thing you want
more than anything else?
- So, clearly, we got
some stuff to talk about.
I know I should've told you
about the magic,
but, in my defense, it's not
the easiest thing to explain.
I mean, sure, I definitely
knew something was up,
but that was a total curve-ball.
Also
I know that's not what's really
bothering you, so I'll just shut up.
- My dad is dating that woman,
Angela, if that's even her real name.
- I'm pretty sure that's her real name--
- Clearly, she's into something shady,
and my dad could be in danger.
We gotta tell him, Chet.
- B, you're a straight shooter,
and I like that.
But what if, and just as a thought,
instead of going right at your dad,
we ease up?
Dig into it quietly. Just in case.
- In case of what?
- In case he's shady, too.
- Hey, Trudy?
- Hey.
Do you need anything? Um, more blankets?
- I'm good. I just wanted
Are you crying?
- No. No, I'm fine. I just, um
I'm tired.
- I didn't mean to be rude before.
I know you're trying to
make me feel at home.
I'm just sad.
I'm scared.
I didn't mean to make you cry.
- I'm a high school guidance counselor.
I can handle little brats.
I'm sad and scared, too.
You're not the only one
who loves your mom.
- JB, come in.
JB, this is Joe. Come in.
Hey, this was your idea!
Alright? You owe me one. Remember?
You said reach out if I ever need help
from a world-class thief
who looks great in a wig.
Well, I don't care about the wig,
but this is me reaching out.
I'm calling in my favor.
So, you better respond.
You know where to find me. Over.
Find me on the radio. Don't come here.
This needs to stay between us. Over.
This is Joe. Over.
Joe Hardy. Over.
- It's perfect.
It can hide right here in plain sight.
You again.
Who are you, boy?!
- You're getting distracted, Frank.
Stay on your path.
Focus on what's in front of you.
- What is it?
What is it for?
