What the hell?
Heard you been selling leaf
behind your mum's back in town.
[Twist] We just made Khalid's business
a whole lot more lucrative
by doing the refining ourselves.
[Amanda] Meet Sharon and Linda.
We know that Brooke was dealing the shit
and that those guys had an issue with her.
The tyre prints
from where he tossed Julian
found on utes and four-wheel drives.
That Julian is not Raph's father.
You want to know the real Julian?
He tried to put me behind bars
so that he could try and fuck my girl.
The day after Claire was attacked,
a Bichon Frise puppy was dropped off
at a shelter twenty minutes
from where they found Claire.
Colin Finch.
- What's going on?
- [Sweeney] Brooke Phelps.
They pulled her
out of the river this morning.
I had a couple more drinks.
She wasn't drinking.
And then she left about 12:00.
[Twist] Brooke was a fighter.
There'll be DNA left on her,
and it won't be mine.
[Hench] The victim's last phone activity
was a text message to Amanda Pharrell.
[Sweeney] Amanda Pharrell was with me
from around 11:45 last night
until the time you arrived at the motel.
Duboisia.
Has to be.
What have you done?
Just sending the crop owners
a little invitation they can't refuse.
Please, don't. No.
No, no, no! Don't!
Ahh!
[Khalid]
"A penalty is a cowardly way to score."
Know who said that?
Pelé.
You think I'm a coward?
Ahh!
No!
[Khalid] Oh. So you're calling the father
of the beautiful game a liar then?
[groans]
You're mental, you know that?
Nah. I'm just not super happy, Coach.
They've lost three games in a row.
It's under-10 soccer!
Soccer?!
[grunts, groans]
It's called football.
See, this is the kind of attitude
that got you into this mess
in this first place, mate.
I had to pull my son aside
and explain to him
that it's not his fault
that they keep losing.
I had to tell him that it's your fault.
[sobbing] Okay! My fault!
I'll do better! They'll win!
Next time, they'll win!
Ahh! [groans]
[crying]
One more thing.
My son is no goalie.
He was born to be a striker.
See you Saturday.
You gonna cut me down?
You can't leave me like this!
Hey!
[theme song playing]
[Ted] All right. We've seen enough.
Time to go.
[Amanda] This soil's wrong.
The people behind this stuff are
on their way here, thanks to you.
Val said that the soil
under Julian's fingernails was red.
This stuff's too light.
Even more reason
to get the hell out of here.
Come on! ¡Vámonos! Let's go!
[vehicle approaching]
Shit. That was quicker than I thought.
You got a part two to this plan of yours?
[Twist] I got your note.
Not very friendly.
Got a peek at your secret garden.
Not very legal.
Growing duboisia is not against the law.
Ask your local nursery.
That's why you're growing yours
in the middle of a state forest?
Forget what you've seen here.
None of this has anything
to do with Julian.
Uh, this has everything to do with Julian.
'Cause your mates at the boat shed
tossed him off that cliff.
Says who?
Says their tyre treads.
The killer dumped their tyres
to cover their tracks.
And your business partners have
brand spanking new tyres
on their ute, don't they?
That's it?
Tyres?
But what's their motive?
They don't even know Julian.
How would my brother,
patron saint of family values,
even come across men like that?
Still working that out.
So after all this time working this case,
you got a ute with new tyres.

[Ted] Hate to say it, but Twist was right.
New tyres aren't enough.
We can't prove Julian knew

Yet.
I don't buy that he was all squeaky clean.
He had no issues

And he dobbed his own brother

I want to have a serious talk with Tayla.

Whether she wanted to be there or not,

Why the echidna?
Oh. 'Cause he's on the nose.
