I Don't Want to Lose You

1
[upbeat music playing]
[Tyler] Hey!
[all] Yeah!
[Brandon, Tyler] You look cute!
-You guys are here.
-[Tyler] You look so cute. Hi.
-I missed you guys.
-[Tyler] I missed you!
Hi!
-Oh, sorry, your hat.
-So happy to be here.
[Melissa] Both our hats hitting.
-The gang's all here!
-[Joey] Hello.
-Let's do it.
-Let's get you guys situated.
Beverly Hills takes Aspen. [laughs]
The culture at The Agency is unmatched,
and Mauricio and family
have been so gracious
to open their doors
and allow us to come in
and get a hint
of what life in Aspen is like.
Yay!
[Brandon] Let's go.
I've always wanted to see Aspen,
but after the news that dropped,
I am surprised that the trip
has not been canceled. A lot going on.
I've only been here in the winter.
-It's better in the summer.
-Joey, you've been here in the summer?
Yeah.
Oh, nice.
It's my first time, and I'm so excited.
I'm so excited too.
I think we're all kind of feeling
that same kind of
"What do we say? What do we not say?"
"Who's gonna bring it up?"
But do I want to talk about it? No.
I want the full Aspen experience.
[Alexia] We're gonna give it to you guys.
[country music playing]
[Joey] Oh wow. No way, these dogs.
[Alexia] Unbelievable!
[Tyler] It's like I'm in a dream.
-[Mauricio] Here's the rest of the crew.
-[Tyler] Hi!
[Melissa] Hi!
[Alexia] Guys, I don't know what to do.
Horses and dogs.
-Hi, Melissa!
-Hi! Hi, Mo!
[Mauricio] There's nothing I can do
about this news.
You can't stop life just because a tabloid
released a story of something
that is going on in my life.
So, welcome to Aspen, guys.
[Melissa] We're here!
[Mauricio] A friend owns this ranch,
and we were talking about, you know,
creating memories and lifestyles
and offering this as an opportunity
for our clients to experience.
Think of really Yellowstone vibes.
And whatever you can dream of
on a ranch, you can have here.
You wanna go fly-fishing,
you wanna go kayaking,
you want to play with the horses
and learn about how to barrel
and herd, you can do that here.
Race a Porsche?
[Mauricio] Race the Porsche.
There's a racetrack right below us.
-[Alexia] So cool.
-[Mauricio] We have 300 acres.
We want to limit this to,
believe it or not, only six weeks a year.
Okay? Really a limited experience.
We're gonna be offering this
to our clients at $250,000 a week
and at a minimum of two weeks per client.
And Cesar is coming over here.
Cesar, let me introduce you to everybody.
Cesar's the ranch manager.
He's my compadre.
[chuckles]
We just met,
but we're brothers from another mother.
He's gonna help me out today.
So, I'll have
four of you guys come with me
to see the house and the rest of you,
hang out with Cesar, and chill out
with the animals, and take it from there.
-I'm with you! I wanna see the animals.
-All right, cool.
[Joey] I think I'm the guy for the job
to sell a ranch experience.
You look at me,
you see luxury and ranches,
is what I've been told
by one of my friends.
-[Sophia] God, they are so cute and mini!
-[Melissa] Hey.
They are so mini. Oh, hello!
[upbeat grandiose music playing]
[Mauricio] Moonshot Ranch, guys.
So, you have an extraordinary
two-story living room.
These beams are actually
the original Yellowstone beams.
This is super unique, guys.
There's four mountains on Aspen.
From here, you can see all four mountains.
-[Alexia] Wow.
-[Mauricio] Okay?
-[Tyler] It's incredible.
-[Mauricio] Right?
This is one of my favorite suites.
Oh, nice!
[Mauricio] Big suite with
a little kitchenette. Look at the views.
You get to see all down valley.
[Farrah] Oh my gosh.
-[Mauricio] How great is this?
-[Alexia] Wow!
[Mauricio] It's not about
going to go find clients.
It's really about offering
the right person this opportunity.
[country music playing]
I was having FOMO with the animals.
[Farrah] Hey, babies. Can we pet you? Hi.
I feel awkward now 'cause we're all here,
but I haven't found
the right time to tell you,
and I have to tell you now
'cause we're all here.
But I was at drinks
with Brandon and Tyler the other day.
And Brandon had mentioned that
Joey said something along the lines of,
"I only put Alexia on listings with me
so I can knock it back one more time."
-Something like that.
-Knock what back?
I can only imagine
that it's something gross.
Ew.
And he also had said that there was
some overlap with him and Jake.
-Not true.
-And
I know it annoys you
when he says things like that.
I made it clear with Joey when we talked
about why we didn't work out.
I never ended things with Joey,
so maybe he's confused
about, like, when we were over.
'Cause it was not like
'Cause obviously it was something
more to him than it was to you. Yeah.
But Joey just says things
to get a reaction out of people.
That's really gross,
and I'm sick of him talking about me
as if I'm that kind of person.
He always makes these crude comments.
How many times do I have to ask him
to stop saying things like that about me?
[Sophia] It's gross,
and it's also, like, degrading.
What kind of person does he think I am?
[tense music peaks, fades]
[upbeat grandiose music playing]
-[Brandon] Do you like riding horses?
-I haven't done it in so long
But I'm actually kind of excited, low-key.
-[Melissa] Hello.
-[Farrah] Oh, bandanas!
Oh, should we get an outfit going?
I'm ready.
I'm very sporty.
Don't these sequins
say horseback riding to you?
-[grunts] Yes.
-[woman] You're good. See? Like a pro.
[Melissa grunts] My heel's broken.
Oh my God, you guys are in heels.
[Joey] It feels pretty even.
Trigger, the horse behind you,
they are best friends.
They will be together for the entire ride.
[Joey] You hear that, Alexia?
We're best friends!
-[woman] We're good.
-What the
[woman] All right. We'll roll on out.
Big push to try to get them single file.
[Joey] Who's a good boy?
[laughter]
-[Joey] Brandon! You're made for this.
-[Brandon] Love it. Obsessed. Not leaving.
[Alexia] Well, this is gorg.
[woman] So, this mountain range
you're looking at is the Elk Mountains.
[Joey] It's amazing.
So, can you text and drive
on these things?
-[Melissa] No. [laughs]
-[woman] Carly, stop for a sec.
One of the other cool things
about Aspen, guys,
is that millions and millions
of years ago,
this was all the Continental Divide.
It formed the Rocky Mountains.
[Joey] I don't know
how you know all this stuff.
[Alexia] What a beautiful day we've had.
That property was incredible.
[Melissa] El Chapo is hungry, man.
-[Sophia] Everyone looks so cool.
-[Melissa] You look a little pissed.
Yeah. [exhales sharply]
I know, I'm really bad at
putting on a front
when I'm in a weird mood,
but Sophia just filled me in about Joey,
and I would love to hear your side.
Yeah. When we were at your house
playing pickleball,
we were just talking about how things
were going at the Moorpark listing.
He's like, "Yeah, I put Alexia on things
so I can knock it back one more time."
-[Melissa] To knock it back?
-[Brandon] What does that mean?
Obviously, it's insinuating something,
and it's disgusting.
Nobody knows what knock it back means.
But we all have a brain
to piece two and two together.
What I do know is that there's definitely
some sort
of inappropriate connotation here,
and that's not okay.
The timing of everything,
he said there was overlap
between when things ended with him
and you picking up with Jake.
[Alexia] Joey was never my boyfriend.
We never agreed to be exclusive.
Joey and I fizzled out,
and I started dating Jake
not that much longer after,
but there was never an overlap.
You were never together.
We were never together.
I don't know why he would say that
because that's making me out to be
someone I'm not to you.
And, like, he's really,
really pushing his limit with me.
[Brandon] I have never seen Alexia
this upset before.
She's right to be upset,
but don't scream too loud.
You might spook the horses,
and I can't save you.
[Melissa] If he's telling you,
who else is he saying it to?
Because that's not a good look.
Exactly. Obviously, my relationship
is something I hold very dearly
and so is my professionalism.
So, to insinuate at all that you think
I would "knock it back" with you
because you put me on a listing,
then fuck you.
[country music playing]
[Mauricio] Okay. Dreadlocks, go.
[Alexia] Ooh!
Fireplace!
[Melissa] Oh yeah.
-[Brandon] They're letting the horses out.
-[Mauricio] Wow!
I could be on one of those, galloping.
-[Sophia laughs]
-[Melissa] That was so cool to watch.
[Mauricio] That was cool to watch.
This is my happy place on Earth.
-[man] Food coming in here for you.
-[Mauricio] Yay, Chef!
[all] Yay!
-[Alexia] Mashed potatoes?
-[chef] Potatoes, and pressed broccoli.
[Sophia] I love potatoes.
[Joey] It looks insane.
So, you guys, can I just ask you guys
for a little update on your business?
We just put Hauser in escrow.
[Mauricio] Nice. Well done.
Fif. What about you?
I just went with you
to that listing appointment.
-Oh, where?
-I just told
In La Jolla.
-[Mauricio] González's house.
-[Sophia] Oh.
-[Joey] The baseball player?
-[Sophia] It was really cool.
-So
-In La Jolla Farms?
No, in La Jolla.
You should interrupt her one more time.
-I feel like I've been learning a lot.
-[all cheer]
Let me ask you a question.
How did it go at Green Meadow?
I wasn't there,
so I'm curious how that went.
Good thing you weren't there.
-[Melissa] Wait, what's Green Meadow?
-Why?
Wait. Mo, you haven't heard
about any of this?
[Mauricio] No.
[Tyler clears throat]
[Joey] I have no problem with bringing up
the Michelle conversation.
He should know about Michelle sounding
Wee, wee.
Just a little.
I left the next day, but we didn't have
time to catch up about this.
Yeah.
We were told, we, from Joey and Ben,
that Michelle, who I had considered
a friend since I was 15 years old
A colleague. We She was there day one
when we opened The Agency
had been saying some, like,
not great things about Alexia and I.
-Some disgusting things.
-I'm just like
Where should we begin, honestly?
You say how bad it was.
I mean, she just
Well, I wasn't expecting you to open up
this can of worms, but Let's hear it.
-A lot of worms where this one came from.
-[Mauricio] Yeah.
-[Alexia laughs]
-[Tyler] Actually, it was a can of snakes.
-Ooh!
-[Mauricio] Oh! Shit
All right, let's hear this.
[laughter]
I mean, she stormed into Ben's office.
-Me and
-Stormed.
-Stormed.
-[Sophia] Mm-hmm.
And as if we were the board members
deciding the new leadership of The Agency,
she came up to us and was like,
"I'm taking this bitch over."
And she first attacks you guys,
as Mauricio's daughters,
who are not fit to run the company.
[music sting]
She attacked you,
saying that you're going to be a mother,
and because you're going to be a mother,
that takes you out of the race.
And she literally said
if you guys took over The Agency,
it'd be business suicide.
[music sting]
I mean, I cannot believe she said that.
And not because
-She denied it, by the way.
-[Mauricio] This went on at Green Meadow?
[tense music playing]
You're telling me that the person
that says they want to be
the next CEO of The Agency
is putting down my daughters?
Yes!
That just makes no sense to me.
Like, I don't even know, like
Whether you're right or wrong
is a different thing,
I don't give a shit, but you can't go
deep into that whole conversation
No, you can.
But why was that even necessary?
-Are you converting people against us?
-Like, that's where I'm going with that.
[Tyler] She thinks you're going
anywhere anytime soon?
[Alexia] Yeah, and by the way,
it's insulting anyway.
She looks at me and goes,
"You think you could demand
the attention of a room of suits?"
-[Alexia] I go, "Michelle"
-[Melissa] What?
Wait, that, she said that to us.
I go, "Michelle,
why are you attacking me like this?"
I've been working for five years.
She's been working for 25.
Why is someone like that
talking about us like that?
[sighs]
Look, I'm sitting here.
I'm listening to this, and honestly,
one of the hardest things that I deal with
is to separate myself as a father,
as a boss of the Umansky team,
as the CEO of The Agency,
and I have a big-ass company to run.
You know, my job is to keep all the parts
oiled and running, right?
You know,
then there is the emotional part,
which is the father side,
which when I hear
somebody talking like that
about my daughters,
I get very emotional about it,
and I want to just jump out
and kick somebody's ass, right?
And defend them.
But I can tell you, you know, I don't know
when the succession is gonna happen.
I'm shocked
this conversation is happening.
But clarify it's not Michelle Schwartz
has nothing to do with any of this.
Nothing to do with any of you guys.
Like, that's just not
-That's just not the position, like
-You can run an office in the Valley well.
She can run ten offices in the Valley.
She can run 12 offices in the Valley.
Like, she's an amazing manager.
She's an amazing agent.
I don't know if it's gonna happen,
I don't know when it's gonna happen,
but I can sure tell you
that when it does happen,
it sure is not gonna be Michelle Schwartz.
[tense music plays, fades]
[upbeat catchy music playing]
[Zach] Jenny!
-[Jenny] Hello.
-Hi, love.
[Jenny] How are you?
-I don't know why I'm so psyched.
-Why are you so psyched?
I don't know,
'cause I wanna sell this house.
-Let's sell it. Hi, hi, hi.
-Hi.
Jen Plotkin is
a highly-coveted member of my team.
I've always been a solo agent,
but I have a team that sets things up.
I close, and she is
the number one in line after me.
Should I get taken out, she steps up.
-Have we had a lot of people so far?
-[Jenny] We've had a good flow of people.
-Lawrence's coming. One of the owners.
-He is? Okay.
-Totally.
-We need to sell this. This
-This is top priority right now.
-I hear you.
[Zach] The Hutton property.
It's shiny, it's new.
It's got open spaces.
It's got all the bells and whistles.
-Hi, guys! Welcome.
-[man] Hi.
At the same time, Hutton has been
on the market for a long time.
At least six months.
It was on with another agent.
They brought me in few months ago.
And I sell a lot of properties
in Beverly Hills,
but you're not getting the size lot
that people want.
So they're thinking, "Why don't I take
this ten million dollars,
go to seven million,
and buy the same house
on double the size lot
on the other side of the hill?"
That's the problem we're facing.
-What do you think?
-[Janson] Nice.
[Zach] This floating staircase.
The openness,
the walls that open to the outside,
everything flows so perfectly.
You saw the glass elevator?
It goes to the sky.
-You wear sunscreen?
-[Janson] Yes.
[upbeat hip music playing]
So, the bedrooms are here.
They're all en suite.
They all have their own bathrooms.
They all have their own patios and views.
How nice is this?
There's no neighbors behind you.
And everything here
is north of ten million,
and we are under ten million.
Are you from the Umansky Agency?
Yeah, from The Agency.
Do I seem like an Agency type agent?
No. [laughs]
No.
I don't know if it's good or bad.
He did the mic drop and walked away.
-[Janson] Thank you very much.
-[Zach] It's a great pleasure meeting you.
We'll see you again when you come back.
-All right, enjoy, guys.
-[Janson] Thank you.
[Zach] Jesus. Can't get a read.
-[man] What's up, Zach?
-[Zach] Look who's here!
-How's it going?
-[Zach] Busy.
Hopefully, we can move this thing,
because we gotta get rid of it.
The longer it sits,
the more we lose, you know.
[inhales] Look, I think
we're doing everything we can.
There comes a point as a businessperson,
you got to make a business decision.
Look, I don't list properties
to list them.
-I list them to sell them.
-Of course.
We'll give it the next couple of weeks.
See what happens.
We'll go from there,
but if not, we're gonna have to go
in a different direction with this house.
Maybe change brokers, do something.
I haven't lost a lot of listings.
I pride myself on selling the listings.
And if I don't sell this,
it's a bad look for me.
When people want to come call me
and list their house,
and they're like, "Hey, did you end up
selling the Hutton house?" "No."
That's not a good look.
The stakes are high for me here
because this is my neighborhood.
I've sold more in this neighborhood
than any broker.
Reputation wise, I want to sell this.
We've known each other a while.
I want to continue to represent you
because I feel like
I appreciate what we both do,
so I get it, like, this has to be sold.
Let's do this together.
We're gonna push this through.
We have no other choice.
Perfect. So, we'll be in touch.
-Okay, brother.
-See you.
[upbeat music playing]
[Farrah] Who's excited to go to Kemo Sabe?
-[shop assistant] Hi. Welcome.
-[Sophia] Hello!
-Hi! Tyler.
-[shop assistant] Hi. Nice to meet you.
Kemo Sabe! Guys, we need the hats.
-[woman] First, we need drinks, right?
-[Melissa] We need drinks!
We were thinking we could do a shot ski.
-[Tyler] What is this?
-[bartender] Kathy's tequila, chilled.
Oh, straight tequila, great.
-[Alexia] Ready?
-[Farrah] My favorite.
-Oh my God, I'm stressed.
-Wait, Brandon, you have to bend down.
[bartender] You gotta count down.
Three, two, one!
-[cheering]
-[upbeat disco music playing]
[all cheering]
Welcome to Aspen!
Yeah!
-[Alexia] Thank you, guys.
-[bartender] Welcome. Have fun shopping!
[Alexia] This is a real cowgirl store.
I love that on you!
-[Brandon] That style is for you.
-[woman] It looks really good on you.
I like a flat brim on you.
-What?
-[Brandon] Yeah.
Wow. I'm kind of obsessed with this.
So, I don't mean to dampen the mood.
I just want to make sure, you know,
that y'all are okay with everything.
Obviously, you know, like,
when the news came out,
there was a moment we were nervous.
"Is there something we don't know?"
It made it feel like
it was really happening, and
Like, it made us look at the article
and really wonder what the reality is.
They're not separated,
but yes, things have been a little off.
They're not as lovey-dovey
as they used to be,
and, as a family, we can recognize that,
but we didn't talk about it.
I feel like we, as a family,
have a tendency to
brush anything negative under the rug
because we're always so happy,
having the best time,
that no one wants
to acknowledge anything bad.
[Farrah] We don't like conflict.
And I think this goes way back.
So, in a way,
I think we are hoping to break this cycle
and maybe even teach our parents
how to do things differently,
like, within our family.
The silver lining is
we're gonna be forced to deal with it.
-They're gonna be forced to confront this.
-Mm-hmm.
And unfortunately,
the whole world is watching, but
It's like we're not allowed
to keep anything private
because we already gave them
a little part of our lives.
Now it's like any little thing
that we want to keep to ourselves,
we can't.
And everyone thinks they deserve,
or that they have the right,
to be let in on every little thing now.
As people say, this is
what we signed up for, sort of,
to some extent, yes.
But at the same time, like,
where are we allowed to draw
some sort of boundary?
You know,
when we talked about it as a family,
our mom got very, you know, almost,
she almost cried
at the dinner table 'cause she
you could tell she feels
that responsibility and that heaviness
of putting us in this position
because of, you know, her show.
We've grown up on TV
for the last 13, 14 years now,
and we're gonna have eyeballs on us.
No one cares about the people next door
having an off year.
No one would talk about this.
It's like, of course we wish
we could draw a line in the sand and say,
"These things are off-limits,"
but unfortunately,
that's not the nature of this, you know
We'll take the good and the bad
if we have to.
Yeah. In a way, it's a good thing,
you're out in the open.
They're being honest.
It'll make y'all stronger, and
I strongly believe
they will make it through.
-And I know that.
-Yeah.
-[music sting]
-[Melissa] I love y'all.
-That's what's important, love.
-Love you.
[Melissa] Thank you for being
so open and honest with me.
-I love you guys.
-I love you guys.
-And we love Kemo Sabe!
-Yeah!
-[bartender] We love you!
-Aspen!
-[Sophia] All right, shall we?
-[Farrah] It's time to buy some hats.
-[Joey] Wow!
-[Tyler] Oh, it's so good, it's perfect!
-[Joey] Wow!
-[Tyler] It's really perfect.
-Oh my
-All right.
-Looking good.
-[Tyler] Oh my God!
Come check yourself out.
There it is. Feeling good!
-[Joey] That's crazy.
-Well done.
-Wow.
-Love it.
[upbeat music playing]
[Zach] In the interest of good faith
and moving forward,
we would be happy to offer you
a 10K credit towards
Okay. Got a shark tank here.
It's like Lethal Weapon 3.
because had we offered that
before Tara sent this information,
they may ask for more.
It was smart of us to wait.
Let's not tell her about the credit
until we get the Weinsteins'
reaction from the latest.
We'll respond to Tara, saying,
"Understood, 10K.
We're done." Who's behind me?
[Ben] Brad Pitt version of you.
What is this
This is how you talk at work?
It's so serious.
-[Zach] Wh
-Calm down.
You dress like a Lululemon model
to this open house
I'll take it.
-That was an insult.
-[Ben] You're just rude.
-How's it going here with this spec house?
-Um
[hand tapping on side table]
Good and bad.
This house has so much to offer
in the way of bells and whistles
and everything you would want
in brand-new construction.
And the greenery, the air is fresher.
-Okay, so you have no offers.
-And we have nothing.
[music sting]
I may have some buyers in mind,
so tour me, sell me.
-I'm the guy who gets 'em sold.
-It's a lot of luck.
-Let's walk.
-Maybe I'll come after you on this. Hey
[Zach] I'm trying to crack the code
on why this hasn't sold.
For them to come in,
meet with me and be like,
"You've got two weeks or you're fired."
[exhales]
Because Zach lives in Beverly Hills,
this is important to him.
He likes being
the neighborhood specialist in that area.
I'm sure he's feeling
the pressure right now.
Equivalently, if not more,
than Sierra Mar for me.
-Which way are we going first?
-Uh, let's go to the money right here.
-[Ben] Great family room and kitchen.
-[Zach] Thank you.
Love this kind of open thing
that spills outside.
If you look at the houses
across the street for 12-plus million,
their backyards stop here.
They didn't get a chance
to excavate all that dirt
because the law has changed.
These guys got in just before,
so they added
that much more square footage.
Outdoor kitchen, outdoor dining, living.
I like the pool on another level.
Very resort-like.
But you can see your kids.
You don't have kids yet.
-Not yet. Next year.
-You don't know what it's like.
-Really? Have to have sex to have kids.
-I think [chuckles]
So, all this living flow,
and then outside this living room
is our fitness center.
Downstairs is where you have everything.
So each level is about 2,200 feet.
-Whoa. Wine storage. I like it.
-I know you're a big faux wine guy.
You like non-alcoholic wines.
Come into the barroom, my man.
This is a super cool hangout space
downstairs opposite the theater.
The parties you'll throw in this house
Now with the new Wildlife Ordinance,
can't do this house again.
You'll never get this basement again.
The Wildlife Ordinance
will limit building and remodeling
in a way we have never seen before.
Under the new rules,
in the specified geographic area,
which is extremely large,
there's no basement.
And no matter how much land you have,
maximum house size is 6,000 square feet.
We're going to take Charlie's
Great Glass Elevator all the way.
Oh, there's an elevator?
Let's go.
For a listing like Hutton,
it actually benefits it
because they won't be able
to build houses that big anymore.
-[Zach] Anyway
-So, bro, you saw Santiago?
He was furious.
-Holy shit, did Santiago lay into me.
-I've never seen him mad.
I was, like, really excited
to getting to know you.
I was really excited
to do business with you,
and this kind of fucks it up, man.
I get that Santiago is bothered by this,
and I appreciate that.
I truly do.
It shows me that he is invested in me,
and he cares about me.
And that's great, I care about him.
I think it's less about you, dude.
He wants to make sure the company
People aren't coming here,
joining, getting our secret sauce,
then leaving two months later.
I feel like you're actually not subscribed
and engaged to our culture,
and, like, not everyone is
kind of in that inner circle.
Trust me, I was in agony in Miami
because I don't want to leave.
I'm thriving here in so many ways,
but my decision will be
for the betterment of my family.
When are you going to decide by?
-Soon, I have no choice.
-You got when?
There's no expiration on this offer.
But this company has got a launch,
and I'm gonna be
a part of it launching or I'm not.
So this is coming to an end
within the next few weeks.
Okay.
And, like, it pains me
to think about leaving The Agency,
but the pressure that being at The Agency
is putting on my life,
my marriage, my personal life,
like, this flashy lifestyle,
and flying to different places,
and opening other offices,
it's pulling me away from my family.
[pensive music playing]
[Ben] My frustration with Zach
is that I had to listen to him
for three years considering The Agency.
Now, I have to listen to him
consider leaving The Agency.
I'm in, like,
this Zach Goldsmith purgatory.
I don't know what I'm gonna do yet.
What I'm getting outside of here
is very attractive.
You see temptation in life,
you have to decide
if you're gonna take it or fight it off.
[upbeat catchy music playing]
-[Farrah] There are bears here, guys.
-[Melissa] Really?
-[Farrah] Yeah, mama bears and baby bears.
-[Melissa] You know my type are the cubs.
-[Farrah] Your type?
-[Melissa] My type I go for are cubs.
-[Farrah] True.
-[Melissa] Young men. Joey, not you.
-But not baby cubs.
-[Melissa] Sorry, honey, not you.
-[Joey] Okay.
-[Melissa] Yeah.
[Joey] I could set you up
with some friends.
[Melissa] Oh, perfect.
I'm too tired from spending
all this goddamn money.
Okay, quick shower and I'll be back.
I'll be out.
[Farrah] Okay. Perfect.
-[Sophia sighs] My feet feel so relieved.
-How's that boot sweat?
-Actually, I didn't have boot sweat today.
-Do your feet stink?
I don't think mine stink.
Let me smell you guys' feet!
-[Farrah] You can smell mine.
-Let me smell.
-And don't lie. Don't lie.
-I'm scared.
[amusing music playing]
They smell like feet.
They don't smell good.
Let me smell.
-They don't smell. Don't make up stories.
-They don't smell bad.
-Farrah's do not smell bad, honestly.
-Thank you.
[Alexia] Neither do yours.
So that means genetically
none of us have smelly feet.
-Let's talk about that hat of yours.
-Dude.
I actually Do you think I'm, like,
there's something wrong with me
for spending this much on a hat?
How much did you spend?
[music peaks, stops]
Doesn't matter.
[Melissa] Tonight's gonna be fun.
But you know what,
tonight I feel like Alexia should bring up
the Joey thing because it's so awkward.
She's gonna let him have it.
Because she's sick of it.
She's given him so many chances.
I feel like she's so fed up.
And obviously because of Jake
Yo, guys. What's the plan right now?
Just sweatpants, we're not going anywhere?
-[Melissa] Yeah, sweatpants.
-[Joey] Okay.
[Melissa] Joey is oblivious.
I don't know if he's just playing a game,
or if he doesn't remember the things
that come out of his mouth,
but Joey just doesn't get it.
-He needs to be put in his place.
-Yeah.
[upbeat funky music playing]
-[Joey, Alexia] Game night.
-[Brandon] Yes.
Let's get involved. Let's get it going.
[Farrah] What's happening, guys?
Yeah, don't do that dance again.
"And we're going"
-[Farrah] I like it.
-[Tyler] Love it.
[Alexia] Some "Would You Rather?" cards
left over from the last game.
Um, does anyone want to go first?
I'll go first. Okay, y'all.
Marry your first boyfriend or girlfriend,
or marry someone you work with?
-[whimsical music playing]
-Ooh!
[laughter]
The answer would be Adam.
That's a good answer.
Okay, would you rather have a pause
or a rewind button in your life?
-I would rewind.
-[Tyler] Yeah.
Rewind is like the best of both worlds,
'cause it's like
Go back, and you get to live it again.
-What's your answer, Joey?
-I
-It's not my card.
-[Tyler] No.
But do you have any moments
you would rewind on?
Oh my God. [chuckles]
-How much time do we have?
-[Brandon laughs]
What should I be looking to rewind?
Now that we are breaking
the ice and everything,
I would love to ask you something.
Oh yeah, please.
I just want to know
why you think it was okay,
by any means, to refer to me as someone
who you'd share a listing with,
so you could "knock it back one more time"
and insinuate at all
that there was ever any overlap
with you and Jake.
The overlap comment was a joke.
No, it's not funny. It's not to my face.
You're saying it to other people.
'Cause it's funny to them.
No, it's not. Why's that funny?
[tense music sting]
You realize that's my reputation
you're talking about?
-And my relationship.
-But it's not. That makes me look bad.
How does that make you look bad?
It's like almost so obviously satire
that like
Like, it's like,
"Okay. This is clearly Joey being ironic,"
like It's pretty
No one gets that but you.
-My whole
-[Farrah] Can you give some context then?
-[Joey] With those comments?
-Like, how did this even come up?
The context was that I made a joke
about me co-listing with Alexia every time
because I wanted to, like, rekindle that,
and then I went over the line
-To who?
-[Joey] I think to Brandon.
-[Brandon] We were having a conversation.
-Did you take it as a joke?
I think everybody understands it's a joke,
but sometimes your jokes go too far.
I'm just confused
how saying that there was overlap
with you and Jake is so obviously a joke.
The only person that damages here is me.
And Jake, by the way.
And it looks bad on her.
It looks like she's cheating on Jake.
[Alexia] It makes me look unfaithful.
I've never
No, I fully understand
that I made the wrong choice
in those words,
and that it was not a funny joke.
Thank you for admitting that
and acknowledging that.
And I want you to remember that,
because time and time again,
you make jokes about me, and comments.
I need you to leave my name
out of your fucking mouth when you do it.
[dramatic sting]
I'm really hoping this is the last time,
because I'm at my wit's end with it all.
[sighs] I'm very, very, very fed up of
feeling like I have to watch myself
and protect myself
from someone that I trust.
You are in this family unit.
You're around it every day.
So I want you to just think about
how it affects all of us.
-You know?
-I really hear you.
I can't say enough
that I really like having you in my life,
and I don't wanna lose that.
I don't want stuff getting around to Jake,
and, like, he's very understanding
of our friendship.
You're here, and he doesn't give a fuck
'cause he trusts me, he trusts us,
but when you're saying things
about who I am and my relationship,
I can't have you around like this.
So, don't make me lose you
because I like having you around.
[tense music playing]
Those words should never have come out
of my mouth, and that's very obvious.
I need to work on,
you know, some impulsivity.
Sometimes I think, you know,
there's something really funny
to say when
I need to be a little bit
a lot more sensitive a lot of the time.
[sad music playing]
I feel horrible,
and it kills me to see you like this,
and I'm really sorry.
Genuinely really sorry.
I shouldn't have said those things.
And it won't happen again.
Well, we said it. It's out there.
I appreciate you apologizing.
[Joey] I'm absolutely mortified.
I wish I just didn't say that stuff.
Alexia is a close friend.
Doing something that results
in her being upset at all
is a shitty feeling for me.
I've learned
a lot of lessons in this life.
This might be one
that really hits a little bit harder.
[music fades]
[tense pulsating music playing]
[uplifting orchestral music playing]
[Brandon] Hello.
-I'm impressed.
-How are you doing?
-Good. How are you?
-Welcome to Chatsworth, brother.
I used to live up the street, like
Well, a lot of people
don't know where it's at.
Yeah, I do. I've driven past it.
The 118's right there.
Okay, yeah, fair.
-Welcome. You haven't been here yet?
-No.
It took, like,
two and a half years to finish.
And finally done,
just staged it, obviously.
It looks really good.
Chatsworth is in the Valley.
It's the land of opportunity.
You come here
to get more bang for your buck.
And Fig Tree Lane
is actually Kevin's personal home
that he built
for him and Sonika to live in,
and live happily ever after.
We know what happened there.
Everything from the kitchen
this way was built in 1917,
and everything past there
is brand-new construction.
So, the historical architect made me keep
all the wainscoting, the doors.
Everything in here was dark brown wood,
and it just felt a bit older.
It's a nice touch
to match the cabinets in the kitchen.
[Kevin] This is the primary wing.
[Brandon] Cute.
[Kevin] Primary bathroom.
What do you think of the finishes?
It's great.
I love the herringbone flooring.
[Kevin] I don't know why,
I love herringbone.
I just felt like
it adds a different style.
-[Brandon] I think it's a good touch.
-Thanks.
Look at you, you got a little taste.
I try. I asked a lot
I consulted a lot of people. You know?
These pocket doors? Totally restored.
[door squeaking]
-Might need a little WD-40.
-They're a little squeaky. Yeah.
Anyways, best room in the house.
[Brandon] Great. Love how bright it is,
and big. How big is this house?
[Kevin] 3,100 square feet.
What are you gonna do
with all this by yourself? [laugh]
That's why you're here.
I feel like being an agent and the seller
probably isn't my best idea.
-Wait for it. 'Cause here's why.
-Okay.
You've walked in properties
that are for sale by owner.
They feel like
they're too emotionally attached to it.
I wanna have that separation.
You did an amazing job with Rosita.
The bathroom is my favorite in here.
I love the stone detail.
This kind of matches
the kitchen downstairs, right?
-Yeah, this is gorgeous.
-Yeah.
And I've seen the way
you've been hustling and working,
and I want to bring you in.
I want you to help sell this property,
take charge,
and get me my price, first and foremost.
What do you think?
That's exciting. I appreciate it.
Like, anytime you give me
an opportunity, I welcome it.
Of course, man.
[Brandon] Kevin has done me a solid
several times over
by bringing me in to assist with projects,
but this time he's giving me
the keys to his personal home
and saying, "Sell it."
So, I am listing agent one,
which means I'm getting a check
when this closes.
No more favors, baby.
We're going to the bank.
It'll be interesting, because now I'll see
not only how you operate as an agent
as your colleague,
but you're going to be my agent.
-Representing you, yeah.
-And I'm going to be a hard seller.
-Let's do it.
-All right. I appreciate it. Thank you.
[upbeat rhythmical music playing]
-Hola!
-Hey, cómo estás?
-How are you?
-I'm good, you?
-Good.
-How are you doing?
Good, thank you so much for coming today.
Okay.
[dramatic tense music playing]
It's that kind of talk, huh?
Um, Michelle, I just wanted to talk to you
on a serious note, you know, as a friend.
I was in Aspen,
and this whole conversation
started to come up in terms of, like,
some issues and things that were said.
I wanted to talk to you
about that and understand,
you know, where your mind is at.
I'll tell you,
I think there were some things
and some words that I used
that were not the most eloquent.
You said, "You girls cannot go into a room
of suits and command the room."
Alexia thought that meant
standing in front of agents
and having them listen to her.
-What did you mean by that?
-I mean walking into a room of attorneys.
I mean walking into a room
of, uh, executives and professionals.
I don't think that that's how she took it.
I think she took it the way you meant it.
[tense music builds]
She's 27 years old.
She's not in a situation
where she's even claiming she's prepared
to walk into a room right now
and take over the business today,
and command, you know,
a room full of attorneys.
I don't know if you're ready to do that.
I know what I said,
and I know that they were not happy.
You said handing over
the business to my girls
would be business suicide.
Well, that's the word
that I wish I didn't use.
But And so I apologize for that.
But my intention behind it
is that I have nothing but love
for this company,
like, daughters aside, right?
I feel like I deserve an opportunity
to have a voice and seat at the table.
I want a more present, more
A a a bigger spot,
and I want to be the next you.
I don't think
anyone's entitled to anything
just because they're part of the family.
[music peaks]
[music stops]
[tense dramatic music playing]
