Yep. Death by stiletto.
Hmm. Sad irony to be killed

It'd be like if Simmons

- Or if Yates was killed by a
- No. Shh.
Keep that in the partner vault.
Probably not appropriate
for the Commissioner.
Oh uh, good point.
This is raw footage from a reality show?
What, you've never heard of The
Luxurious Ladies of Linden Avenue?
- Why would I?
- Because it's amazing.
They're on their, like, tenth seasons.
Yeah, people go crazy for it.
Evidenced by the number
of calls I've gotten
from the press since
the body was discovered.
Which is why you're all here.
- Commissioner.
- Ah.
Thank you, Jim. [GASPS] Chamomile.
With honey, like you asked.
Now that's service.
Simmons and Yates have been on the case
since it was called in yesterday.
But Commissioner Russo
would like all hands on deck.
Of course. Whatever
you need, Commissioner.
What was the cast doing all together?
Well, they had a girls' trip episode.
They rented a mansion. You know,
get the cast under one roof.
For maximum drama and wine throwing.
Yeah, only this time one of
the wine throwers ended up dead.
It happened around 11:30 PM.
Yeah, there were no
cameras in the upstairs area
or in the individual
bedrooms, but all the women say
- they were in bed for the night.
- At 11:30?
Yeah, they were
exhausted from a full day
of tequila drinking and
passive aggressive behavior.
- Any suspects?
- Call was coming from inside the house
as per the outdoor
cameras, no one entered.
Yeah, nobody was in
the mansion except for
the cast and a small crew.
So, whose shoe was it?
- I mean, the murder weapon.
- Veronique's.
In fact, earlier in the season,
during an argument with the other women,
she declared, quote
"Cross me and I will stab you
in the back with my stiletto."
- End quote.
- Looks like one of the other women
beat Veronique to the punch.
Or should we say stab?
- Cast have gone home, I take it?
- Not exactly.
Filming shut down so they
could process the scene,
but they're gonna pick
right back up tomorrow.
Even though their
friend was just murdered?
They say it's what
Veronique would've wanted.
I'm pretty sure what she would've wanted
was to not be stabbed with a shoe.
Celebrity murders are the bane
of any police department's existence.
They attract an unruly
amount of attention,
and if you don't solve them,
that's all people remember.
Now, I am not having my

Well, the dynamics of

媻
All right, ladies.
This is our last dinner of the season.
Let's start it off with
sharing a little something
about Veronique. Shall we?
I can start.
[SIGHS]
I cannot believe Veronique is gone.
Veronique was my best
friend in the entire world.
And the fact that she believed
in me meant everything.
So, I would like to raise a
mango mint mocktail to Veronique.
V.
I'll be seeing you.
- [CLINKING SOUND]
- [JASMINE CLEARS THROAT]
I wanna say something about Veronique.
But I've just learned
information I can't keep in.
The camera boy was secretly
- shtooping Veronique!
- [WOMEN GASP]
Yeah. He must've killed her.
That's why he kept the
affair from the cops.
No, no. I I didn't
I didn't kill her, I swear.
That sounds like a
guilty confessional to me.
- Looks like we found our murderer!
- No!
Liam did not kill Veronique.
How would you know?
Because I did.
I did it, okay?
I am the killer.
No.
You're not.
Why would she lie?
Because Talia is his mother.
[WOMEN GASP]
I am gonna win an Emmy for this.
Oh, just wait. It gets better.
Come on, Yimmons.
We are hurtling towards
the big finale here.
Liam is Talia's biological son.
A few years ago, she
pulled a few strings
and got Liam a job on the show.
Is that true?
I had you when I was only 17.
Giving you up was the hardest
thing I've ever had to do.
That's why I drank.
Running away from my shame.
But then I finally got sober.
And I got the courage to track you down.
I saw that you were
in film school, and
I made the show give you a job.
Having you around me
every day kept me sober.
That's what made it
so much harder for me
when my drink was spiked.
Why didn't you tell me?
I didn't tell anyone.
Not even Veronique.
I didn't think I deserved to
have a relationship with you.
So, I had to tell myself that
I just had to be happy just
to be around you every day.
And then I found out
about you and Veronique.
When did you find out?
The day before she died.
Liam was setting up a shot.
Veronique was in glam,
getting touch-ups.
They shared these secret
looks and then I knew.
Veronique was the same with
all her young boyfriends.
She just tossed them aside
when she was done with them,
and I knew she would do
the same to you eventually.
And then she was gonna
want you off the show
and I was not about to let that happen.
Not when I fought so hard
to have you back in my life.
So, I
I went to her room.
And I killed her.
I mean,
it's a good story, but
it's not the real one.
- Yes, it is!
- No, it's not.
You're protecting your son.
Yes, you went to Veronique's
room to confront her.
But when you went there,
she was already dead,
because someone else killed Veronique.
You were pushing it, little mama.
Yeah, well, it'll be
worth it for this footage.
[VOICES ON TV]
Ooh, this is juicy.
She was already dead.
Yeah, well, what can I
say? My girl's a natural.
Liam, in the footage from that night,
somebody told you to
go to Veronique's room.
Who was it?
Greg, probably.
But you were already filming
when Talia was screaming.
She found Veronique
in that exact moment.
The cast-mates rooms
were all beside each other
in a line down the hallway.
So, the scream could've
come from any of the rooms.
But Greg knew that it
came from Veronique's.
Why?
Because Greg killed Veronique.
[WOMEN GASP]
Me?
That doesn't make any sense.
Why would I kill the
star of my own show?
But it wasn't gonna be
that way for long, was it?
Greggo.
Because everybody knows that each year,
Veronique drops a bombshell.
And this year, the bombshell
was gonna be about Greg.
And what he did to Talia
while filming two months ago.
That's my cue.
Ugh, I did not realize that
we were all in this next shot.
Okay, well
[SIGHS] it's gonna be a long day.
Okay, well, I'll get my drink,
and then I'll meet you guys out there.
Where can I get my mocktail?
Bartender left it here.
Mango mint, as always.
Thanks, doll.
[SCOFFS]
You spiked my drink?
I'm an unconventional producer, so what?
You missed Train-wreck Talia.
You wanted a relapse story.
Liam.
You gave Veronique that
footage, didn't you?
Uh yeah. It was so she
could prove that Greg did it.
Yeah, and she did show Greg.
The night that she died.
You knew when that video
exposed you on camera,
you would lose your job.
Yeah, there's unconventional producing.
But scandal like this?
You would never recover from.
So, you decided to kill Veronique.
You stabbed her with a shoe and
tried to frame the other women.
You can't prove any of this.
Actually, I can.
That's your cue.
Oh! Whoa! Damn.
- Mm-hmm.
- I was engrossed.
[LOUDER] Actually, I can.
[YATES OUT OF BREATH]
We found the P.I.'s
laptop at your house.
You are the murderer.
You killed the P.I. because you knew
he was the only other
erson that had the footage.
All you needed was a juicy
secret to clear your name.
And that's why you used Veronique
and Liam to cover your story.
You told me that right
before the dinner.
You used me to set up the camera kid.
You killed two people
just to save your job.
A job?
You think this is a job?
This is my empire!
[LAUGHING]
Everyone's always talking about how
this show's so dramatic and juicy.
Why do you think that is?!
It's because of me!
I am this show!
I have worked ten years

I have sacrificed everything!
I made Veronique a star.
Then she had the nerve to turn on me
because was doing my job.

needs, then it is.
The viewers, they
wanted Train-wreck Talia.
So, I just had the

Because I always do

Veronique was gonna
take that away from me.
I didn't have a choice.

Stomp the pail.
Do you mean kick the bucket?
Yes. That one.
What can you tell me about the
night of Veronique's murder?
Ah
That night we go sleep early.
Jasmine drank too much the wine
and she's running her bitch mouth, yes?
Why don't you get along with Jasmine?
Because she's having bitch mouth.
Right. Okay.
Um, do you think she
could've killed Veronique?
Jasmine?
No. She's awful.
Terrible.
Bad clothes.
But no killer.
Though I am seeing Clementine
go kitchen at time when murder.
- Really?
- [KATARINA] Mm-hmm.
- Do you remember what time that was?
- Yes.
It was ten after the 11.
[MAX] Okay, I got the tea
and it's piping hot. Scalding.
You're gonna need aloe vera,
that's how hot this tea is.
Okay, Max, I get it. Just spit it out.
[MAX] Okay. According to Jasmine,
Clementine was walking
around the grounds at 11:11.
Around the time of the murder.
Which means Clementine lied
in her witness statement.
Right, but Katerina
said she saw Clementine
go down in the kitchen at 11:10,
so she couldn't have been in
two places at the same time.
- [ELLIS] Someone's lying.
- It's weird how they both mentioned Clementine.
- You think they're in cahoots?
- [MAX] Nah.
Those two are like tequila and red wine.
- They don't mix.
- [SIGHS] Well, something's up.
I'm gonna call Katarina back in.
Let me try. I'll level with her.
Diva to diva.
[MAX] Katarina!
I brought your favorite.
Two bottles of wine.
- [OBJECT CRASHES]
- [MAX GASPS]
[SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC]
Maybe not like tequila and red wine.
[JASMINE] Damn it!
I am saying here is too
risky, now new girl catch us.
Don't panic. How can
we get you not to tell?
- What do you mean?
- We're both married.
My husband is, like, toxically jealous,
and there's an infidelity
clause in my prenup.
If he leaves me, I get nothing.
And I have titles through
husband, the Count.
If he doing divorce me, I lose Countess,
and then what am I?
Just sad girl?
We'll do whatever you want.
Just don't spill the beans on the show.
You want money? A car.
- Katarina's pony.
- Not Boris.
Look, I'm not trying to
ruin any of your lives, okay?
You can trust me. But tell me the truth.
This wasn't the first time, was it?
We have been in love for years.
Now that's a plot twist.
We met on the show, and
it was immediately like
it.
- I guess sometimes you just know.
- Mmm.
In my country, we say
someone hits you over head
with frying pan of love.
[CHUCKLES]
It sounds better in my language.
Yeah. No, I get it.
Okay, but why pretend
to hate each other?
As long as we're feuding,
we stay on the show,
and as long as we're on the show,
You get to see each other.
And all these years, and
nobody found out about this?
Until recently.
- What do you mean?
- Right before the trip,
Veronique told us she knew.
We still do not know how.
Was she gonna spill your
secret on the season finale?
No clue. Veronique wasn't
exactly predictable.
So, you two killed her to
keep the truth from coming out?
- Of course not.
- No, we did not!
We were together when
Veronique was killed.
Together?
Like
Like doing sex time, yes.
Then Talia screamed and
we raced out so fast,
we accidentally put
on each other's robes.
Yes, and before that, when
we were making the sex time,
Jasmine sees Clementine out the window.
- [JASMINE] At 11:11.
- [KATARINA] Mm-hmm.
- I told her about it.
- [KATARINA] She did.
And when producer is
finger pointing to Jasmine,
I am panic and I say the wrong thing.
English, it is not my first language,
and I am sometimes making them mixed up.
We we didn't want anyone dead.
- [KATARINA] No.
- We just love each other and
don't want that to change.
Well, if you love each
other, isn't change worth it?
We'd be left with nothing.
I mean, what would we do?
You know what?
I think you two need
this more than I do.
Yeah.
[RICKY] Yep. What Max said checks out.
You see the monograms?
Jasmine's in Katarina's robe
and Katarina's in Jasmine's.
And T.B.H., I love this for them.
So, maybe they were together
when Veronique was killed.
Unless it's a cover up.
They did both have
motive since Veronique
knew their secret, but Max
thinks they're telling the truth.
Well, assuming Jasmine
and Katarina aren't lying,
then likely Clementine
wasn't in her room
at the time of the murder.
- [RADIO STATIC]
- This is Rodney here.
Can I get Clementine to
the confessional room?
I repeat, Clementine to
the confessional room. Over.
What?
That was very convincing.
Perhaps you missed your true
calling as an overworked,
underslept, cat hair covered
reality show producer.
[TALIA] Yeah, I would be happy to help.
You know what? Ed from Sundance,
he's actually a close
family friend, so
- I could show him your short film.
- Wow.
- Thanks, Talia. You're always so nice.
- Of course.
- Appreciate it.
- Any time.
Talia, I I didn't have you scheduled.
I'm ready to talk about Veronique.
Okay. Well, then,
uh we'll get started.
I hear it's Clemen-time!
Get it? Like
Yeah, I get it, Clemen-time.
Yeah, I wanna get this over with now.
But [LAUGHS AWKWARDLY]
Clemen-time.
We'll get to you next, okay? Promise.
- [COUGHS]
- [TALIA] Do you want a cough drop?
I have those, uh, ones that you like
with the lemon, honey
and echinacea in them.
Oh, yeah.
- Thank you.
- Yeah.
[TALIA CLEARS THROAT]
All right. Ready?
As I'll ever be.
Talia, what can you tell us about
the night of Veronique's murder?
Is there something wrong?
My best friend is dead,
and I have to talk to you
about it for a stupid TV show.
You know what? I
I actually don't think
I can do this right now,
to be honest, I really don't.
I know these things can be
difficult to talk about. Okay?
How would you know?
My brother was actually
murdered two years ago.
He was?
Yeah.
And look, at the time,
I couldn't put my grief into words.
I barely can now.
You know, people will
try to tell you that
it gets easier, but it doesn't.
That grief just stays the same size.
And some days you're stronger.
You know, it's easier to carry.
And other days
[TALIA] You're not.
[ELLIS] You're not.
Yeah.
I'm just
I'm so angry, you know?
Like, she should still be here.
I understand that anger.
Trust me, I've been there.
Now, tell me, you were the first
person to find Veronique. Right?
Yeah.
Um
I
I went to take her a sleeping pill.
And there she was.
Bloody.
Everything after that is
like I'm underwater, you know?
I hear screaming,
and then I realize
it's me, I'm screaming.
I hear people talking, but
I can't make anything out.
All I could focus on is
her.
Dead.
Just when I thought my year
could not get any worse.
- Any worse? What do you mean?
- Well
I'm five years sober.
Congrats. That's huge.
Thank you. It is. [CHUCKLES]
Especially since my
worst drunken moments are
documented on the show.
They called me Train-wreck Talia.
And the nickname was accurate.
- [SNIFFS]
- I'm sure that's hard to watch now.
Oh, well, I I can't,
I don't. It's, uh
[SIGHS] too disturbing.
It's like I was possessed
during those seasons.
You know, just drinking away my shame.
But then I got sober and, uh,
things got clearer.
- Good for you.
- That's definitely my biggest accomplishment.
And I would not
just throw it away like
so many people are saying.
Yeah, I, uh
I heard about the
incident two months ago.
No, my drink was spiked. Okay?
I would not do that to
myself. Somebody sabotaged me.
Do you have any idea
who could've done it?
No idea.
Veronique was the only
one that believed me.
She knew how important
my sobriety is to me.
- Because she knew you.
- Exactly.
She had her flaws.
You know, but
I've never had a friend like that.
And I probably never will again.
Look, I hate to ask, but I have to.
Being her best friend,
do you have any idea
what that secret was
that she was gonna drop
at the finale dinner?
No. No.
She, um
She didn't tell me things like that.
She was way too strategic with the show.
That's what made her so good.
You know what? Um
I think I really need to rest right now.
- Of course.
- Okay.
Well, if there's anything else
I can do, just let me know.
Thank you.
Hey, um
I'm really sorry about your loss.
- Thank you.
- I mean it.
And I hope you have more
strong days than weak ones.
You too.
Okay. Take two.
I have so much to tell you
about everything that
Clementine places
for the filler party.
Seriously?
[SCOFFS]
You guys know what a filler party is?
Right, so these women
get fillers on camera?
That's some kind of a party for them?
It's keeping up with
the Joneses out here.
In this world, the Joneses
put chemicals in their faces.
All right, let's get started.
Clementine, take it away.
[WHISPERING] Oh my gosh, it looks great.
Thank you for coming, everyone.
Given as this is my divorce party,
I thought fillers would be a great
way to move into our next chapters.
Our nurse has everyone's
individual brands
based on your requests.
So, just let her know your name.
[SQUEALS] Enjoy! [GIGGLES]
- Aren't you getting filler?
- Oh, I'm good. I already got some.
In my ankle.
It's the latest trend in Nice.
媻
Sorry, uh, I'm a bit paranoid.
Could you just check for
air bubbles in the needle?
- [SIZZLING SOUND]
- [WOMEN GASP AND SCREAM]
Oh my God, what is in that?
Someone put acid in
Clementine's syringe.
- [WOMEN GASP]
- [CLEMENTINE] Oh my goodness!
God, that was so scary.
Your whole life must have
flashed before your eyes.
Same thing is happening to
Czar of my country in '96.
His face, it is very melt.
I can't believe someone
would want me dead.
I've never done anything to anyone.
Who would have done something like this?
I have no idea how that
got into the syringe.
I prepared everything myself.
Is it possible somebody could've
tampered with the materials?
While I was away from them
when I was getting mic'd.
Hey. Excuse me.
All shooting is paused
while we investigate.
Oh, of course. Uh Liam.
I have a room where we can
review some of the footage
from the incident, if
you'd like. Officers?
Yes. Thank you.
Producer.
Man. Guy. Boy.
Real slick.
- Where are you going?
- Right.
I'm just gonna stay here.
- Good job, Officers.
- Thank you.
What can I say? I just love true crime.
Right this way, Officers.
Scram, kid. It's
official police business.
Leave that muffin.
Also official police business.
[DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES]
Look. The nurse lifts up the
needle and takes it out of the box.
Okay, so the needle wasn't
switched in this moment.
Hmm. Meaning there's
no on-camera evidence
it was ever tampered with.
Wait.
This is where you anticipate the acid.
And you move your leg.
You weren't paranoid about air bubbles.
You faked an attempt on
your own life, didn't you?
- Yes.
- Wait. What?
Wait a minute, how are
we getting this footage?
I thought the cops said no recording
during the interrogations.
There's no way I was missing this.
It's obvious, Clementine.
You killed Veronique.
You set this whole thing up to
throw everyone off your scent.
I mean, why else would
you do something so crazy?
This is my divorce party.
My time to shine.
But then Veronique died,
and everybody forgets
that it's supposed to be about me.
You faked an attempt on
your own life for attention?
Yes.
Okay, I'm not proud of it.
Wait, wait. Where the hell would
you find acid on a girls' trip?
I had my assistant
bring it in this morning.
I didn't wanna harm anyone, I swear.
And of course, I
didn't murder Veronique.
I'm not a murderer.
I'm too boring for that.
At least that's what Veronique thought.
What do you mean by that?
I mean, at the beginning of the trip,
Veronique told me
that she looked into me
and discovered that I have no secrets.
I am just exactly as boring as I seem.
- Sick burn.
- Well, that doesn't explain
the fact that you lied about
where you were when she was killed.
The truth is
I was on the phone with my husband.
I want Larry back.
I I miss him so much.
But I was too embarrassed
to admit anything because
well
this is my divorce party.
[POLICE RADIO CHATTER]
Pathetic little poser.
How dare you tarnish
my best friend's memory.
You are disgrace to your country.
Uh
Shame!
All right.
Clementine's headed downtown
while we check her alibi.
Either way, she's facing a
reckless endangerment charge.
Yeah, we're gonna need
to do some interviews.
Who do you wanna talk to first?
Uh hmm, hmm, hmm.
Let me see here. Do-do-doot. Uh
Uh, scowly guy.
And, uh, then short one with
questionable fashion sense.
- Rude.
- All right, move it.
Is that bear?
Wow. The women on this show have
done things for attention before.
But acid syringe to the
face? That's next level.
Look, acid syringe or not,
if Clementine's alibi checks out,
we're back to square one.
Okay, so Clementine said that
Veronique was looking into her.
What do you think that means?
Some good old-fashioned
social media stalking.
Hmm, yeah. That's how I found out
my ex adopted a French bulldog.
Evil bitch knows just how to hurt me.
No. No chance Veronique was
anywhere near social media.
She was a notorious Luddite.
She still used a flip phone.
If you wanted to get dirt on someone,
but didn't know how to use a computer,
how would you get it?
Yeah, apparently, she hired
a private investigator.
Of course.
Should've guessed that
we'd find those payments
in Veronica's financials.
Well, I mean, it's the old-school way
to find out your
coworker's dirty secrets.
Speaking of which
you wanna hear some of mine?
I most certainly do not.
Okay, well, you're missing out.
Because one of them involves
a Pulitzer Prize winner
and a sex robot.
[KNOCKS] [DOOR CREAKS]
I can't believe this.
I left the office
around 5:00 like always.
Does anything seem out of
place about the scene to you?
His laptop is missing.
He always keeps it on his desk.
It's got all his case files.
That's most likely what they were after.
Except he always kept
hard copies of everything
in a storage room down in the basement.
In case anything ever
happened to the laptop.
Or to him, for that matter.
Guess we know where we're heading next.
[SECRETARY CRIES]
Thank you.
Sorry I'm late.
Took me a second to fit into
this thing for the finale dinner.
Wow. You look, uh
You look nice.
Thank you.
Oh, can you help me
zip up? I can't reach.
Yeah.
You are playing with fire, Maximus.
There you go.
Okay.
Um
[ELLIS CHUCKLES] So
So
Clementine's alibi checks out.
Her husband said they were
on the phone for over an hour
and she wouldn't stop talking.
[CELL PHONE RINGS]
Ah
- Hello?
- [YATES] You're not gonna believe
what we found in this P.I.'s file.
Seriously, this is Pulitzer Prize winner
and sex robot levels of dirt.
[ELLIS] What did you find out?
Well, according to this file,
Veronique was sleeping with Liam.
- The camera guy?
- [YATES] That's the one.
[SIMMONS] You know,
Liam conveniently failed
to mention that when
we were questioning him.
There's more boxes, so
we'll send you photos
- as we work through.
- [ELLIS] Okay. Keep us posted.
Copy that.
God, this affair changes everything.
Liam was in the mansion
when Veronique was murdered.
He was the one shooting the
footage of the body being found.
Maybe we missed something in the video.
Well, I know someone
who likes a rewatch.
[RICKY LAUGHS]
Oh my God. Liam and Veronique
were doing the no pants dance?
- Can you believe it?
- [RICKY] Honestly, yes.
She loved them young and pretty,
but she'd always cut them loose.
There's a TikTok supercut
of all of her himbos crying,
uh, post-dumping, set to
Celine Dion. It's hilarious.
[RADIO STATIC]
All right, enough.
Okay, we need to hurry.
It's almost time to roll
on the finale dinner.
All right, all right, let me cook.
- [PHONE CHIMES]
- Holy spit take.
Did you just see what Yates
and Simmons said about Talia?
Yeah, it looks like Talia's
got some secrets of her own.
How does this fit into the picture?
I don't know, one thing at
a time. Footage first. Ricky?
And voilà! My feed
should be on your screen.
- We got it.
- [RICKY] Perf.
Here we go, sports fans.
[INDISTINCT VOICES]
Wait, go back.
[INDISTINCT VOICES]
Did you hear that?
What are they saying?
Ricky, rewind it and play
it again. Turn up the volume.
[GREG] Get to Veronique's room now.
Did you just hear what I just heard?
Yeah, but we need more proof than that.
Okay, well, we'd better get it then.
It's the last night of filming,
AKA the last night we're all
gonna be under the same roof.
AKA the last night we
can solve this undercover.
Ricky, we need more time.
Good news, ducklings. You have
a reality television expert
here to advise you.
Why does it have to do
with reality television?
Everything.
In this world, there are ways
of going about a finale dinner.
And lucky for you, it'll
give you the time you need.
All right, let's bring in the ladies.
媻
All right, ladies.
This is our last dinner of the season.
Let's start it off with
sharing a little something
about Veronique. Shall we?
I can start.
[SIGHS]
I cannot believe Veronique is gone.
Veronique was my best
friend in the entire world.
And the fact that she believed
in me meant everything.
So, I would like to raise a
mango mint mocktail to Veronique.
V.
I'll be seeing you.
- [CLINKING SOUND]
- [JASMINE CLEARS THROAT]
I wanna say something about Veronique.
But I've just learned
information I can't keep in.
The camera boy was secretly
- shtooping Veronique!
- [WOMEN GASP]
Yeah. He must've killed her.
That's why he kept the
affair from the cops.
No, no. I I didn't
I didn't kill her, I swear.
That sounds like a
guilty confessional to me.
- Looks like we found our murderer!
- No!
Liam did not kill Veronique.
How would you know?
Because I did.
I did it, okay?
I am the killer.
No.
You're not.
Why would she lie?
Because Talia is his mother.
[WOMEN GASP]
I am gonna win an Emmy for this.
Oh, just wait. It gets better.
Come on, Yimmons.
We are hurtling towards
the big finale here.
Liam is Talia's biological son.
A few years ago, she
pulled a few strings
and got Liam a job on the show.
Is that true?
I had you when I was only 17.
Giving you up was the hardest
thing I've ever had to do.
That's why I drank.
Running away from my shame.
But then I finally got sober.
And I got the courage to track you down.
I saw that you were
in film school, and
I made the show give you a job.
Having you around me
every day kept me sober.
That's what made it
so much harder for me
when my drink was spiked.
Why didn't you tell me?
I didn't tell anyone.
Not even Veronique.
I didn't think I deserved to
have a relationship with you.
So, I had to tell myself that
I just had to be happy just
to be around you every day.
And then I found out
about you and Veronique.
When did you find out?
The day before she died.
Liam was setting up a shot.
Veronique was in glam,
getting touch-ups.
They shared these secret
looks and then I knew.
Veronique was the same with
all her young boyfriends.
She just tossed them aside
when she was done with them,
and I knew she would do
the same to you eventually.
And then she was gonna
want you off the show
and I was not about to let that happen.
Not when I fought so hard
to have you back in my life.
So, I
I went to her room.
And I killed her.
I mean,
it's a good story, but
it's not the real one.
- Yes, it is!
- No, it's not.
You're protecting your son.
Yes, you went to Veronique's
room to confront her.
But when you went there,
she was already dead,
because someone else killed Veronique.
You were pushing it, little mama.
Yeah, well, it'll be
worth it for this footage.
[VOICES ON TV]
Ooh, this is juicy.
She was already dead.
Yeah, well, what can I
say? My girl's a natural.
Liam, in the footage from that night,
somebody told you to
go to Veronique's room.
Who was it?
Greg, probably.
But you were already filming
when Talia was screaming.
She found Veronique
in that exact moment.
The cast-mates rooms
were all beside each other
in a line down the hallway.
So, the scream could've
come from any of the rooms.
But Greg knew that it
came from Veronique's.
Why?
Because Greg killed Veronique.
[WOMEN GASP]
Me?
That doesn't make any sense.
Why would I kill the
star of my own show?
But it wasn't gonna be
that way for long, was it?
Greggo.
Because everybody knows that each year,
Veronique drops a bombshell.
And this year, the bombshell
was gonna be about Greg.
And what he did to Talia
while filming two months ago.
That's my cue.
Ugh, I did not realize that
we were all in this next shot.
Okay, well
[SIGHS] it's gonna be a long day.
Okay, well, I'll get my drink,
and then I'll meet you guys out there.
Where can I get my mocktail?
Bartender left it here.
Mango mint, as always.
Thanks, doll.
[SCOFFS]
You spiked my drink?
I'm an unconventional producer, so what?
You missed Train-wreck Talia.
You wanted a relapse story.
Liam.
You gave Veronique that
footage, didn't you?
Uh yeah. It was so she
could prove that Greg did it.
Yeah, and she did show Greg.
The night that she died.
You knew when that video
exposed you on camera,
you would lose your job.
Yeah, there's unconventional producing.
But scandal like this?
You would never recover from.
So, you decided to kill Veronique.
You stabbed her with a shoe and
tried to frame the other women.
You can't prove any of this.
Actually, I can.
That's your cue.
Oh! Whoa! Damn.
- Mm-hmm.
- I was engrossed.
[LOUDER] Actually, I can.
[YATES OUT OF BREATH]
We found the P.I.'s
laptop at your house.
You are the murderer.
You killed the P.I. because you knew
he was the only other
erson that had the footage.
All you needed was a juicy
secret to clear your name.
And that's why you used Veronique
and Liam to cover your story.
You told me that right
before the dinner.
You used me to set up the camera kid.
You killed two people
just to save your job.
A job?
You think this is a job?
This is my empire!
[LAUGHING]
Everyone's always talking about how
this show's so dramatic and juicy.
Why do you think that is?!
It's because of me!
I am this show!
I have worked ten years
on set, 14 hours a day.
I have sacrificed everything!
I made Veronique a star.
Then she had the nerve to turn on me
because was doing my job.
Poisoning cast-mates isn't your job.
If it's what the story
needs, then it is.
The viewers, they
wanted Train-wreck Talia.
So, I just had the
guts to give it to them.
Because I always do
what needs to be done.
Veronique was gonna
take that away from me.
I didn't have a choice.
So
I plunged that heel into her back.
You monster.
You tried to destroy my life.
You murdered my best
friend and you wanted my son
to take the blame for it?
You are disgusting.
[YATES] Yeah.
You are disgusting.
Oh, sorry.
I got caught up in the whole thing.
Aurora, how did you even
figure any of this out?
Because I'm not Aurora at all.
I'm a cop.
- She's not a cop.
- I'm basically a cop.
I was undercover this whole time.
Yeah. Me too.
Ready for your confessional, Greg?
Turn around, put your
hands behind your back.
You're under arrest.
[SIGHS] I am so grateful to
Veronique for clearing my name.
I will forever be heartbroken to know
that she died doing it.
But I hope that she would be happy
knowing that my son and I Hey, Liam!
- Come here. Come here.
- What?
Um everyone.
This is my biological son, Liam.
- Hi.
- [CHUCKLES]
And we are finally going to
be working on our relationship.
Well, at least we're gonna try.
But for tonight, we
have dinner reservations.
Oh, speaking of that,
do you have any food allergies?
Yeah, I'm allergic to strawberries.
- Are you serious?
- Yeah.
So am I.
- What?
- Yeah.
This is very drama time.
But I'm glad all is figured.
[JASMINE] Katarina.
I'm tired of pretending.
The fake cop is right.
I don't care if I lose everything
if it means I get you.
I am happy
to be normal Joe person.
It means I am getting you.
I love you, Jasmine.
I love you, Katarina.
No one understands how hard it is
being the niece of a network president.
Everybody's always like, nepo baby this.
