CSI: Cyber (2015) s02e15 Episode Script
Python's Revenge
1 Previously on CSI: Cyber Agent Rupert Flemming! How are things across the pond? Agent Flemming can't come to the phone right now.
(drilling) (Flemming screaming) RYAN: Miguel, Python killed your partner.
Rupert? I'm on the next flight.
MUNDO: This is Python.
He's one of the most violent cyber drug dealers we've ever encountered.
Get down! RYAN: Hello, Dante.
Or should I call you Python? Dante I'm sorry, ma'am My mom's house.
You're in my house! You crossed the line.
You made this personal.
This is war.
Python was here in CTOC! If he left something, I want it found! (laughter) I swear to God.
You made that up.
No, I didn't.
Friends and neighbors used to show up with firewood to heat the new home and to ward off the evil spirits, and that's why they called it a "housewarming.
" Look, I don't have any evil spirits here.
(both laugh) And this is all the housewarming I need.
Nah, we need something else here.
Um, all right, here we go.
Let's do this right.
Bread, so that your home will never know hunger.
Spices, so that your life will never be without flavor.
And red wine, so that joy and wealth will reign forever within these walls.
Hmm.
Nice.
Oh, man.
We got a lot of boxes here.
We have to unpack all of these? Yes.
(laughter) ("Rock-a-Bye Baby" chiming) Do you hear that? I do.
Music box, right? But I don't have a music box.
I think you do.
(chuckles) Over here someplace.
Yeah.
This one.
But this, this isn't my box.
There's no moving label.
Okay, that's a little weird.
The music is coming from this tablet.
Do you know what that is? I don't understand.
How can this be? What? What is this? This is video the day that Hannah died.
That's the car she was riding in.
These are the last moments of my daughter's life.
That was, like, what-- 14 years ago? How did somebody find this footage? Our nanny Renee was driving.
It was raining.
They launched an investigation to see if she was negligent, but she wasn't.
"You couldn't save your daughter, can you save me?" You have any idea who the "me" is referring to? No.
Okay, all right.
I need to get this to CTOC.
D.
B.
, D.
B.
Okay.
(Ryan grunts) (groans) Do you know this woman? I don't think so.
(camera clicking) Anything in the tablet we can use? It's not responding.
I'll bag it, take it back to Tear Down.
See if she'll talk to me there.
All right.
If anybody can make a dead tablet talk, I'm looking at him.
(laughs) (indistinct chatter) Severed head, cryptic message and video of her daughter's last moments? It's got to be tough.
All right, so the moving company had 36 boxes they were supposed to deliver.
They dropped off 37.
Said they thought they just mislabeled one.
We're going through all of them right now to be safe.
Listen, this perpetrator's meticulous and patient.
I mean, they've been waiting and they've been watching.
As a precaution, I'm assigning you a protection detail.
Two cars, four agents around the clock.
Look, whoever did this is a very determined individual.
If they wanted me dead, I would be dead.
Not comforting.
Their warning was, "You couldn't save your daughter, can you save me?" Suggesting that the threat was against someone that I care for.
So the question is who? Thank you-- fingerprint analysis from the bag we found the head in.
We got a hit.
It's an Interpol agent.
It's Miguel Vega.
(grunts) I'm running out of time.
So I need you to tell me.
Where is Python? (grunts, spits) (groans) (grunting) (phone buzzes) (phone ringing) (indistinct chatter) Krummy Krum, what's the verdict on that tablet? KRUMITZ: A whole lot of nothing.
It's stripped clean.
The serial number, the video message to Avery and the "Rock-a-Bye Baby" music file-- all dead ends.
No prints, no DNA.
There's not even a speck of dust in this device.
NELSON: Is that the code that ran the video loop? Yeah, it is.
We're just about to take it apart and see the magic.
Yeah, but there's no way to track our target.
The only thing on the tablet was the video.
It's never been connected to the Internet.
And there's no record of it syncing with another device.
Yeah, but look.
In the code, there's a pattern.
The final character of every line is useless.
Isolate them.
All right.
There you go.
"Now the games begin dot mist" It's an address to a site on the Deep Web.
This isn't by chance.
Whoever did this wants us to visit the site.
Which means it could be a trap.
That's why we're gonna scan the site first to make sure it's safe.
Then we'll let the games begin.
RUSSELL: Okay, interesting, all right, thank you.
All right, so we're still waiting for DNA results, but our Jane Doe died from asphyxiation.
And her head was removed postmortem.
Avery, I think whoever sent you this is sending you a very clear message.
Yeah, someone is telling me this is just the beginning.
Hey, you know what? Why don't I review this clip for you? Give you some time.
No, I have to do this.
There's something in here only I can see.
(quiet laugh) Thursday was Dance Day.
Hannah would wear her pink leggings.
She had her thick pink headband.
After class, I'd take her to Court Street Café for strawberry milkshakes.
But this day, I had a patient emergency.
My head knows it wasn't anybody's fault.
But sometimes my heart wonders: what if? I just spoke to Miguel's supervisor at Interpol.
Six weeks ago, he quit.
Three days after that, he entered the U.
S.
And he's been dark ever since.
Why would Miguel quit Interpol? Why are his fingerprints at the scene of a potential homicide? MUNDO: I mean, two theories spring to mind.
Either he's a suspect or he's in danger.
We have a location on him? Would've been impossible to track, except he checked Avery's message.
he was in Bethesda this morning.
Okay, well, find him.
We need to know how he fits into all this.
You got it.
(phone buzzing) Our, uh, presence is requested.
(indistinct chatter) We found a Deep Web URL buried in the code on the tablet.
RAMIREZ: NowTheGamesBegin.
mist.
This is where it led us.
NELSON: We have no idea what the answer is.
We don't even have a question.
I do.
RAMIREZ: "You couldn't save your daughter, can you save me?" Okay, so who's "me"? Who are we supposed to save? Miguel's fingerprints were on the plastic bag.
Type in "Miguel Vega.
" Okay, so family and friends are all accounted for.
We're here.
Maybe you need to save yourself.
Try "Avery Ryan.
" Raven? Video that was on the tablet.
Wait a second, the sign.
Can you enlarge it? Yeah.
"The path to salvation is finding grace.
" After Hannah's accident, I drove past that church sign every day for three weeks.
It said, "The path to salvation is finding forgiveness.
" Not "finding grace.
" I remember distinctly because I had a very difficult time forgiving myself or Renee.
Krumitz, type in "Grace Clarke.
" RUSSELL: The young girl who visited you a couple months ago? RYAN: She was Hannah's best friend.
Her mom Renee was driving the day of the accident.
(crying) RUSSELL: Oh, no.
Grace.
(gasping) A-Avery? Is that you? RUSSELL: Okay, we can see her.
She can't see us.
Yes, Grace, honey, it's me! Avery, please, you got to help me! He said that if you can't save me, I'm gonna die! RYAN: Who's he? Who abducted you? I don't know.
I didn't see his face.
But he said that you knew him.
Avery, please.
Save me.
He's gonna kill me! Dante hasn't lived here in over 20 years.
You made this personal! This is war.
It was his mother.
The head in the bag, it was his mother.
KRUMITZ: Who, Avery? This is Python.
He's back.
(crying) CSI Cyber 2x15 Python's Revenge I know you've deceived me, now here's a surprise I know that you have, 'cause there's magic in my eyes I can see for miles and miles I can see for miles and miles I can see for miles and miles And miles Oh, yeah.
@elderman GRACE (crying): I don't want to die.
Avery, please! No, honey, I'm not gonna let that happen! Take a screen grab of those vials.
RYAN: I just need you to focus.
Close your eyes.
And listen to my voice.
Okay, okay, okay Take a breath.
Control your breathing.
Clear your mind.
Now, open your eyes, tell me what do you see? (grunts) It's-it's a room.
Uh, there's a red light.
It's dark.
Except for the window.
I-I see a mirror.
It's so cold! Can she see a camera? Honey? Can you see the make and model of the camera? Um, no, no, I can't see it.
It-It's too dark.
Can you smell anything or hear anything? Do you know anything about where you are? No! No, he drugged me.
He left me here.
RYAN: Your abductor's not there.
Where were you taken from? I don't know.
Nice to see you again, Deputy Director.
It's been too long.
Python, where is Grace?! What have you done with her? Say a prayer and follow a star.
I'm sure you'll find her.
You demented son of a Ah, ah, ah, ah.
We're here to have fun.
I created this game for us to play, and if you win, you get your precious Grace back.
I'm not playing any games with you! Can you track him? I hope so.
I think you'll change your mind once you hear the rules.
I pose questions, you provide the answers.
Correct answers buy you time.
Wrong answers lead to injections.
Three injections, Grace dies.
She lets go of the trigger, she dies.
If CTOC disconnects from the Web site, you get it.
Poisoning a helpless young girl to get revenge on me? You're a coward.
PYTHON: And using my mother to bring down my empire was an act of courage?! So is there a real chance that we're gonna be able to save her, or is this just all for show? Well, Mr.
Russell, it wouldn't be much of a game if you couldn't win.
What do you want, Dante? Dante's dead.
I want you to know what it feels like to lose everything.
Ticktock, ticktock, ticktock.
How much time do we have? Anything? We lost him.
Avery? You there? RYAN: I'm right here.
If you don't hear me for one second, I'm just dealing with something, but I'm right here.
Avery, what's happening? RUSSELL: Okay, all right.
So what do we got? "One among many.
"Bound in leather.
Right in front of you.
" Grace is right in front of us and bound.
Are we really going to play Python's game? According to that timer, we don't have much of a choice.
Okay, Nelson, you and me, we'll we'll do the riddle.
Python was right here in CTOC, right in front of us, so let's start there.
Okay.
Krum, let's work on Grace's location.
Yeah, I'm on it.
Raven, when I am not with her, you are.
Keep her calm.
Never leave her alone.
Grace, I want you to meet someone.
Hi, Grace, my name is Raven.
Avery, what's going on?! RYAN: Honey, Raven is gonna stay with you.
Right now, I need you to tell her everything that you can remember about being abducted.
Can you do that? GRACE: Okay.
I'll try.
Got this.
I have to call Director Silver.
Hi, Grace.
Okay, "One among many.
Bound in leather.
Right in front of you.
" Okay.
The the "you" refers to Avery, right? Python was in her office, so it's got to be in here.
NELSON: Books are bound in leather.
RUSSELL: Okay, let's start there.
D.
B.
Found one.
It's the only book I see bound in leather.
Treasures in Art.
RYAN: Did you figure it out? RUSSELL: Yeah.
NELSON: Think so.
Python must have noticed this book in your office.
He's using it to play mind games.
RUSSELL: Okay, let's go.
Treasures in Art.
Okay.
RYAN: Wait, wait.
Grace, can you hear me? I can hear you.
The man who abducted you is forcing us to solve a riddle.
No matter what happens, you hold tight to that trigger.
You understand? Yeah.
Yeah, let's do it.
Okay.
Avery, what's happening? (groans loudly) Oh, my God, what's happening? Damn it, do something! "Bound in leather.
" Wh-What-What are we missing? NELSON: Okay, the first clue was about Avery's past.
And then he laid out the rules, and-and now he's showing us the consequences.
The obvious answer's not the answer.
Wait a minute.
Medea the Sorceress.
Right, Greek mythology, when she was betrayed, she used a poisoned dress to get revenge.
NELSON: It's about the poison, not the book.
RUSSELL: Right? Right.
Python's poisoning Grace with vials attached to her leather jacket.
Right.
"Medea the Sorceress," enter it.
Stop.
We cannot afford to make a mistake, D.
B.
We can't afford to wait.
Do it.
Okay.
(Ryan sighs) RYAN: Grace, can you hear me? NELSON: What are these numbers? RUSSELL: I have no idea; maybe another riddle.
All right, I'll get started working scenarios.
Why 183 minutes? RUSSELL: You're not gonna believe this.
183 BC is the year that this picture was painted.
You know, this stuff, it's just gonna get harder and harder.
Right? Both the puzzles and the consequences.
And Python is counting on you losing focus and making this personal.
It is personal.
I know that, I know that.
Look, Avery, we're not gonna let him win.
Grace is alive, and we're gonna find her.
(gun cocks) Who's the guy in the chair, Miguel? What are you doing here, Elijah? Avery sent me.
Python's back.
She wants you at CTOC.
I appreciate the invite, but I'm working on a case.
It's not an invitation.
You left Interpol.
You're not allowed to work on American soil.
Hey.
Listen.
Grace Clarke.
She's 19 years old, and Python's got her.
All right, so you can stay here and do whatever the hell you're doing, or you can help save her life.
RAMIREZ: Okay, Grace, do you remember when and where you were taken from? Last night, walking to the library.
Did you see the car he was driving? No, it was too dark, and it happened too fast.
18 hours without food or water.
RYAN: Grace, I know that you're hungry and thirsty.
Try not to think about it; the cravings will subside.
Grace, did he harm you? He said he wouldn't hurt me.
That if I die, it's your fault.
Avery, I'm so scared.
RYAN: It's okay to be afraid.
In this case, fear is good.
It'll keep you alert, keep you fighting.
Use it to survive.
What is it? Receiving reports of mass equipment failure all in the last hour, all on our network.
There is an active intrusion in CTOC.
Python's attacking us like we attacked him.
It doesn't make any sense.
We have a firewall.
He'd have to be inside.
Look, we scan the system daily.
Yesterday it was clean, and now we're crawling with malware.
He could shut us down at any minute.
We have to fix this.
If we lose this system, we'll lose the connection to Grace's site.
If that happens, she will die.
KRUMITZ: I took all nonessential computers offline, but this intrusion is everywhere.
NELSON: Guys, what's going on? Our login credentials have been deleted.
We're locked out the network.
We can't get access to the network, we're not gonna be able to solve the next riddle.
It's Python, he's in our system.
We're trying to figure out how.
NELSON: An active intrusion means initiate shutdown and restore every system.
If not, the entire FBI network can be compromised.
It's protocol, it's not an option.
Is it? No, we can't shut down-- we'll lose Grace.
RYAN: All right, notify every department.
We're gonna initiate shutdown, but we will stay online.
Okay.
I'll catch up with you in a minute.
All right, the problems in our network may have manifested today, but this infection started months ago.
Looks like November 23.
That's the day that Python walked into CTOC, planted some kind of bug in our system.
RAMIREZ: That's impossible.
We reinstalled every single operating system, took every single precaution.
Python was here in CTOC! Sweep everything! If he left something here, I want it found.
It's not impossible, it's ingenious.
He's using Grace's site to take over CTOC.
You vetted that connection yourself.
You said that it was safe.
It was safe.
It is.
There's nothing malicious about the site itself.
Python is using standard Web traffic to trigger malware that's been lying dormant in our system.
That explains how the infection was suddenly everywhere at once.
Python left something behind that we did not find.
KRUMITZ: Yeah, we got to find it now.
I'm gonna get back to the riddle.
MUNDO: Avery.
What happened? Uh, we had a small disagreement.
We talked it through, came to a mutual understanding.
Right, Miguel? Raven, you're with Grace.
Mr.
Vega, you're with me.
Illegal interrogations, covert tactics.
(sighs) If you weren't my friend, you would be in jail, not in my office.
I got a lead on Python, Interpol wouldn't let me follow up.
So you quit?! I found one of his personal couriers, the guy I interrogated.
He just moved a shipment for Python; I was tracking him.
And you didn't trust me enough to keep me in on this loop? For your own protection.
I can do things as a civilian we can't do as agents.
Python's mother's dead.
He's trying to connect you to her death.
He left your print as evidence.
So he's trying to frame me.
Look, Python is getting nervous.
He knows I'm getting close.
That's why he's trying everything to get me off of his tail.
Every second we spend on talking, he gets further away.
He's dangerous, Miguel.
You going rogue, that's exactly what he wants.
It makes you vulnerable.
Think about it.
After Grace, you could be next.
So let me take him out first.
Have you listened to anything I've said?! Avery, every night for three months, I put Rupert's baby boy, my godson, to bed.
And every night he's terrified to tears that the bad man who hurt his father will hurt him, too.
Python killed my partner.
I've given up everything to find him.
Forgive me if I'm on the edge.
Okay, you go.
But you're taking Elijah with you.
Thank you.
RUSSELL: The numbers from the riddle.
Maybe it's an arithmetic sequence, like Fibonacci.
I checked, it's not.
1-2-8 repeats, beginning, middle and end.
Right.
See? Maybe it's a key of some sort.
Okay, so these aren't just numbers.
Then 1-2-8 in the world of chemistry is written H2O.
Most common substance on Earth.
Right.
And maybe 12 is magnesium.
(cell phone buzzes) All these are elements of the periodic table.
D.
B.
, this isn't a math problem.
It's a recipe.
Right.
16.
Sulfur.
Yeah, these are the ingredients.
(cell phone buzzes) I got to take care of this.
Why don't you stay here and get to cooking.
I'll be right back.
All right.
Avery, have you heard from my mom? RYAN: She's on her way.
Her plane lands in an hour.
(laughs) RYAN: What is it? Finally got Mama on a plane.
All it took was abduction and torture.
(laughing quietly) RUSSELL: Hey.
Just got word DNA confirms that the head in the bag is Renetta Wilkerson, Python's mother.
Agents searched the house, found a suicide note no body.
She committed suicide? Ligature marks on the neck suggest that, yeah.
Well, Python removed her body and sent her head to my home.
Which is a clear message that he's holding me personally responsible for his mother's death.
Looks that way.
I'd better get back.
No, no, D.
B.
Something's not right with Grace.
Her pupils are dilated, she's giddy Grace? How do you feel right now? Great.
Better than I've felt in days.
RUSSELL: Glad to hear that.
I think Grace is stoned.
Stoned? Yeah.
Python's death cocktail: The first drug was designed to be nonlethal, but very painful.
See the yellow tint? That suggests potassium chloride.
And then the second drug is clear.
Based on her behavior, I'm guessing that's some kind of heroin or-or morphine.
And then the third one's probably some kind of sedative.
How could you know that? Well, Python's objective is to get Grace to release her grip, right? And if you look at the white color in the third vial, I'm guessing that that's Propofol, and that would be a coup de grace.
When that mixes with the other two, Grace will fall asleep and she'll suffocate.
So each vial is designed to encourage her to release the trigger-- one with pain, one with pleasure-- but either way, this third vial will kill her.
Avery, I narrowed down the area of intrusion.
I just don't get it.
We replaced all hardware after Python was here.
Every keyboard, mouse, cable, everything.
You replaced the chargers? Yeah, chargers, computers we replaced it all.
And the surge protector? KRUMITZ: A single-board processor, 16-gig hard drive, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi antennas.
This is how Python hacked CTOC.
Avery, I am so sorry.
I don't want apologies.
I want answers.
Um Well, once Python left it behind, it must've sat for months, eavesdropping on our network traffic.
Every time someone logged into a station, it-it captured their credentials and used them to inject malware.
That malware spread, infecting our entire system, until today, when we streamed Grace's video feed and Python used it to trigger the infection and take control.
So we have the video feed and the surge protector, and together, they're a nasty combination.
Can we use this information to kick Python out of our system? The only way to cut off his control is to close Grace's video feed.
We can either protect CTOC or keep Grace on-screen.
We can't do both.
(exhales) The courier didn't know Python's location, but he delivered a shipment to this guy called Asher, at this address.
Asher? Yeah, that's what he said.
What was the shipment? All Python shipments are don't-ask-don't-die.
It was large.
Could've been anything.
Guns, a bomb, anything.
(sighs) A plan to make some quick cash for a getaway.
Oh, yeah.
Well, there's only one way to find out.
Miguel.
We don't have a warrant.
Well, I'm not a cop.
I don't need a warrant.
Asher.
That's me.
Who's asking? Agent Mundo.
FBI.
I'd like to ask you some questions.
No problem.
Let me set this down.
Cover me.
(grunts) (panting) No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Don't do it.
Don't! MUNDO: Mr.
Vega doesn't work for me.
I can't control him.
If I were you, I would answer my question so you don't have to answer his.
Do you know this man? Okay, okay! Okay.
Okay Where's Python? ASHER: I don't know any Python.
I'm just a businessman, I swear.
What kind of business? I get rid of things need getting rid of.
Be specific.
(grunts) Bodies! I burn bodies.
Oh Dogs.
Cattle.
People.
What was in Python's shipment? An old lady with no head.
I cremated her, gave the ashes to that guy.
Wait, this guy was here? Yeah, this morning.
I put the ashes in an urn he took it and left.
Okay, hold on.
Avery, Grace is asking for you.
Grace.
Honey, it's me.
I'm here.
Avery, will you do me a favor? Anything, sweetie.
What do you need? Can you tell my mom I love her? No.
Grace.
You are not giving up.
We are solving these riddles.
We're getting closer, do you hear me? I'm so tired, Avery.
I can't hold on.
I'm not afraid anymore.
Grace Honey, I know you're hurting.
I know you want this to end, but I'm not giving up on you.
We're in this together.
We need each other to make it.
You remember when you first came to visit me? I didn't want to reopen that part of my life.
It hurt too much.
But it was your strength that made it easier.
Grace, I need you to listen to me.
I need you to open your eyes (sobbing) I need you to stand up and fight, 'cause I'm not gonna lose somebody I love not today.
I love you, too.
RAMIREZ: Avery Okay.
You stay with her.
You let me know if anything changes.
I trust your judgment, Avery, but this isn't about Cyber anymore.
Every segment of the FBI is offline, waiting for CTOC to reboot.
(sighs) I just need a little more time, Marcus.
I have active operations without technical support.
Worse, Python has access to sensitive FBI documents.
We can't let this continue.
A young girl's life is at stake.
The entire bureau is at stake.
Don't you think I know that? I've weighed every option.
Assessed every outcome.
This is the right thing to do.
Would you be making the same call if this wasn't someone you cared for? Without question.
Then get it done.
(siren whoops) (Mundo sighs) MUNDO: All right.
So let's go over what we know so far.
Python had his mother shipped across country, cremated, and then picked up her ashes.
Renetta Wilkerson, maiden name Collins.
She was born in Evansville, Pennsylvania and raised in Topton, Pennsylvania.
Both towns within driving distance.
Then that's the answer.
What do you mean? Python shipped his mother all the way across the country just to cremate her and then personally picked up her remains? He's taking her home to scatter her ashes.
Yeah, but where? Evansville? Topton? Towns are about 20 minutes apart, both north of here.
I say we go alphabetical order.
I'll drive.
NELSON: Yeah.
RUSSELL: Okay.
It's quartz.
As in the mineral? Yeah, a roundabout way of making it, but that's what it is.
Quartz.
So the answer to the riddle is quartz? RUSSELL: Yeah, no, I don't think so.
The solution is quartz, but there is no answer.
NELSON: I hear words, I-I just don't understand.
Okay, all right, look.
Python's mother grew up in this area that had a lot of quartz mining, years ago, but not anymore.
Today, it doesn't exist.
The obvious answer is not the answer.
I-I'm just saying I think we should leave the answer field blank.
(sighs) Okay.
(sighs) Press "enter.
" All right.
(all exhale) (laughs) What is that? Looks like a snake eating itself.
It's ouroboros.
The Greek symbol for eternity.
This is Python's way of saying this could go on forever.
These puzzles and games are a stall tactic so that he could take over CTOC and force us to watch Grace die.
We need to find a way to end this now.
KRUMITZ: I got it.
I think I have a way to find Grace.
But in order for us to save her, she may need to die.
Okay, Grace? This is Daniel Krumitz.
Can you hear me? Yes.
Okay, I think I've figured out a way to find your location.
And it'll be dangerous, but it will work.
Okay, there's something called a Shodan Map.
It shows us the exact location of every device in the world connected to the Internet, including that camera you're staring into.
And we can use the Shodan Map to find you, but I'm gonna need the make and model of that camera.
The only person who can get me that information is you.
GRACE: I don't understand.
Grace, we need you to try and reach the camera and give us the make and model.
That information will help us find you.
But, Avery, I would have to drop the switch.
I mean, wouldn't that kill me? RUSSELL: No.
No, Grace, it won't.
After you let go and the last two vials inject, we have about 25 minutes to locate you and send in rescue vehicles.
It's our only option.
Grace, listen, you can do this.
Okay.
Mmm okay.
Okay.
(sighs) (groans) (grunting) (panting) (grunts) (groans) RYAN: Grace! Are you okay? Yeah.
I-I just can't see, I can't see the camera.
I can't see it! (sobbing) Wait! Wait! I think I got something! Look at the top of the frame.
I think that's a mirror.
I can see the camera's reflection.
Maybe I can get the model number.
It's a Tekshot TK20.
Bad news.
There's 227 of these cameras on the Shodan Map.
Can you narrow it down? KRUMITZ: I'm working on it.
Eliminate everything outside of the continental U.
S.
Alaska gone, Hawaii gone.
Still 214 cameras left.
Grace, honey, we will find you.
(groaning) Ah, congratulations, Team Cyber.
Well played.
Python! Took a little longer than expected, but you seldom disappoint.
If you kill her, I will find you! (groaning) You promise? This is all your fault, Deputy Director.
You're weak, Dante.
You're not man enough to come after me, so you pick on an innocent little girl? What hurts more, Avery, dying or living with the knowledge that somebody you love is dead because of you? We both know the answer to that question, don't we? Hey! Hey! Don't do this! I've truly come to appreciate your compassion and drive.
It's a shame our time has ended.
(gasping) Yes.
RYAN: Python, don't! You can't do this! Grace! Guess you couldn't save her, either.
RYAN: Grace! (gasping) RYAN: Grace, stay with me.
Listen to my voice.
Focus.
It's the only way to survive this.
I know that it's hard, but I need you to stop struggling.
(gasping) Okay.
Now, take a short breath and hold it.
Good.
Your body's gonna relax.
Now, in 90 seconds, you will lose consciousness.
But I promise you, I'm gonna find you.
Raven, get Elijah on the line.
Every second counts.
NELSON: If Python's with Grace, he has to be within a six-hour radius of where Elijah found the crematorium.
MUNDO: You got Elijah and Miguel.
Where are we? KRUMITZ: We've narrowed it down to five states and 78 cameras.
RUSSELL: That's still too many.
Guys, our working theory is that Python was taking his mother home to scatter her ashes.
Yeah, so eliminate everything not within an hour of Evansville or Topton.
RAMIREZ: Hey, guys, that's 27 cameras.
NELSON: 15 of those are unsecured.
I'm checking their feeds now.
All of them clear.
Okay, that leaves 12, seven of which are north of where Renetta was cremated.
Okay, there are three in Evansville, his mom's birth town.
It's got to be one of those.
We're close, but we need an exact location.
Okay, Python left his mother's head at my house.
He left the surge protector in Tear Down.
He left us all the answers we need, so that later, we could look back knowing that we could've saved her.
RAMIREZ: He's been giving us clues from the start.
Say a prayer and follow a star.
I'm sure you'll find her.
He already told us where she is.
Okay, follow a star.
It's that one.
Nash is a star in the Sagittarius constellation.
His mother was born at the Nash Medical Center.
It's been abandoned.
RYAN: In Evansville.
Dispatch medical.
Elijah, what's your location? MUNDO: We're just outside of Evansville.
Okay, Grace is at 403 Old Mills Road.
Hurry! She doesn't have much time.
We'll get there.
Miguel, it's either Python or Grace.
(inhales, exhales) Call it in.
Let's go get Grace.
(engine revving, tires squealing) (tires screech) RYAN: Elijah, hurry! She's not breathing.
Hold her head.
Go for it.
Come on, Grace.
(panting) She's not breathing, man.
Come on, Grace! (Grace gasping) Breathe I got you.
You're all right.
Whew! You're all right.
Attagirl.
(groans) (siren chirps) AGENT: Is that field officer here? RYAN: Shh, don't talk.
Don't talk.
It's okay.
It's okay.
I just, I need to tell you.
No, I wanted to quit.
But you wouldn't let me.
I wouldn't be here without you.
Thank you.
Oh, shh-shh, shh-shh.
RENEE: Grace.
Mom? Oh, sweetheart.
Oh.
(crying): Mom (sighs) Oh Mom Avery's here.
You should go talk to her.
Thank you.
There's no need to thank me.
Avery, please.
I wanted to call.
I've rehearsed a thousand times what I'd say, if I ever had the chance.
(sighs) The day of the accident, Hannah was so happy.
She was humming a little song in the backseat of the car, and I remember I sneezed.
And in her tiny, little, happy voice, she said, "Bless you.
" Those were her last words.
"Bless you.
" And I have thought about that every day since.
(sobbing) (sighs) Thank you for saving my daughter's life.
WOMAN: That's my car! (indistinct radio communication) (chuckles) Look, if you're ever in Barcelona, call me.
Okay? We'll have a hell of a time.
This mean you're going back to Interpol? No, not yet.
I have a promise to keep.
Miguel Python is long gone.
He abandoned his car-- he's not gonna be found till he wants to be.
Yeah, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna stop looking, right? Then don't.
Rejoin Interpol.
Become the liaison to Cyber.
We can find Python together.
What do you think about that? I think you should do it.
On this one, I'll work alone.
Hmm? Hey.
Miguel.
Be careful.
Next time I catch you breaking the law, I'll take you down myself.
MAN: Hey, grab that box.
Okay, we have one hour to get CTOC back online.
Every charger, every cable, every surge protector must go.
Take nothing for granted.
Looks like Krummy got his groove back.
My groove is the one thing I never lose.
Call that clutch.
You really think I'm clutch? Like Magic-playing-center- to-beat-Boston clutch? Or Kobe-scoring-81-points- in-a-single-game clutch? RAMIREZ: No way.
It was Jordan-dropping- the-game-winner- against-the-Jazz- in-game-six clutch.
Huh? BOTH: Now that's clutch.
(chuckles) Wow.
Okay, so this place has been swept.
There's a detail stationed right outside.
You need anything, you call me, all right? And I'll be here.
Aye-aye, sir.
(chuckles) Man, what a day.
It wasn't boring, that's for sure.
Yeah, actually, I could use a little boring right now.
I'm gonna come back tomorrow, if you'd like, and I'm gonna help you get this place into shape, all right? I'll even make some of my famous lasagna.
Oh, hey, Ooh.
it's a date.
(laughs) Yeah.
Thanks.
(door opens) (door closes) (lock clicks) (sighs) (sighs) (groans) (sighs) (silenced gunshots, Ryan gasps) (door creaking) (floorboard creaks) PYTHON: Don't be afraid.
I've waited an eternity for this.
It's over, Dante.
Agents are gonna come storming in here in a second.
I believe they would, if they weren't already dead.
We're alone, Deputy Director, just you, me and Mother.
I wanted her here to see this.
Drop your gun, Dante! It doesn't have to end like this.
It does.
This way, either you die, or I haunt your dreams forever.
(gunshots) (sighs, gasps) (panting) @elderman
