We're always there
for each other ♪
You'll see just
how fun it can be ♪

Buster might save the day ♪
Or Piglet, Lumpy or Roo ♪
Eeyore has a paw to lend ♪
Rabbit has an ear to bend ♪
Now all we're missing

Oh, I wish I could bring
the garden with me,
but my suitcase
isn't big enough!
Are you sure
you can do this, Darby?
Absolutely, Rabbit!

[chuckles]
[whimpers, pants]
Oh, hi!
Rabbit's giving me
a very important job,
taking care of his garden
while he goes on vacation.
Oh, now, uh,
make sure my plants
get plenty of water
and sunlight.
And watch for anything
that seems strange.
Water and sunlight.
We can do that.
This is my best crop
in years!
So please
protect my peas,
and be careful
with my carrots!
Don't worry, Rabbit.
We'll take extra-good care
of all your plants.

[sigh] I hope they
don't miss me too much.
You see, plants aren't
so different from you and me,
you know.

Wow, Rabbit cares a lot
about his plants, doesn't he?
He's trusting us
to take care of them, Buster.
And we're not gonna
let him down.
OK, boy.
What should we do first?
[barking]
One drink of water,
coming right up!
I think we're gonna be great
plant-sitters, Buster!
[giggling] That doesn't mean
we need to sit on the plants.
We just need to watch them
and take care of them.
Wow, look at how nice
and red these tomatoes are.
This celery looks
extra green and crunchy.
That's funny.
These plants over here
don't look so good.
Maybe they just need
a little extra water.
Something is definitely wrong.
[whines]
Rabbit's counting on us
to take care of these plants.
And we're not
going to let him down.
[laughs]

This is a job
for the Super Sleuths!
[horn blows]

[giggles] No, Pooh! Why?
It's only that your cap
has been, uh, pre-slapped.

for this is "blecch."
They don't seem
to be growing anything,
except tired.
But I did exactly
what Rabbit said.
I've watered them.
And they're getting
plenty of sunlight.

that'll pep these planties up.
We've just gotta, ya know

about how to take care

Every once in a while
my tummy likes to let me
know its there.
You know, since Rabbit says
plants are like us,
do you suppose they
might be hungry as well?
Yeah! I mean you're
givin' the garden a drink,
why not serve
some lunch, too?
I guess,
but what do plants eat?
I'm not a plant,
but, I usually start the day
with breakfast.
Breakfast!
Great thinking, Pooh Boy!
Why a good breakfast'll
help these droopies
grow big an' strong.
Here ya go, big bite,
like this, open wide.
- [groans]
- Do you really think
plants will eat cereal?
Well, it always gets me
goin' in the morning.
Come on, come on.
Just a little bitty bite
for Tigger.
Come on, little planty guy.
OK, uh, how's about
some toast? Or melon?
Oh, I don't know, do vegetables
eat fruit? Is that right?
[yawns] Well, since plants
are like me and you,
perhaps they need a nap, too.
Well, of course!
That's why these
plants are pooped.
They just need
a good night's sleep.
Don't worry Dar-Dar.
By tomorrow these wilty weeds
will be as good as new!
[Tigger] Or not.
Oh, what am I going to do?
Rabbit's counting on me
to be a good plant sitter.
Oh, chin up,
Dar, buddy, ol' pal.
There's more than
one way to sit a plant.
Get a load of this!

What exactly are you doing?
Isn't it oblivious,
Pooh Boy?
- It's a grow dance!
- [both] A what?
You do a rain dance
when you want rain.
So you do a grow dance when
you want somethin' to grow.
Well, I guess
it's worth a try.
Are you kiddin'?
It's worth two and
a half tries, at least!
[drumming]

[Pooh] Whew.
I guess we didn't
Grow Dance hard enough.
And they're as small and
droopish as ever, aren't they.
It makes me sad that
Rabbit might be disappointed.
- [whines]
- Perhaps the plants
are feeling sad, too.
And that's why
they're not growing.
Yeah, I mean, what plant
would feel like growin'
after being called
small and, and droopish and
[gasps] Ooh, I, uh,
do apologize for that,
by the way.
Maybe we should try
saying nice things.
And once the plants
are cheered up,
they shall start
growing faster!
Right!
Shh, I'll go first.
You know, I was just sayin'
to my friends here
how all you plants
are so nice and, uh
polite! Wasn't I?
Wasn't I just saying that?
Oh, yes.
These are some of the most
polite plants I've ever met.
And very quiet, too.
- Oh, yeah. Yeah.
- Yeah, really quiet.
Quiet, you bet.
They don't look cheered up.
[gasps] I know.
How about a good story?
and Jack said he would never
climb up a beanstalk ever again.

Wasn't that the bestest story
ya never heard?
[Darby] I don't think
they grew at all.
[sighs] I'm sorry,
little plants.
I guess I didn't do
a very good job
of plant sitting.
But ya did everything
RaRa asked you to.
And even some things
he didn't.
I'd better go practice
what I'm going to tell Rabbit
when he gets back.
Rabbit, I'm sorry
but I'm not a very good
plant sitter.
No. Uh, Rabbit,
I did everything I could but

- [gasps]
What, what is it?
Is, is something wrong
with my plants?

Let's see. Hmm.
Mmm and, uh, hmm.
Mmm. Yeah.
Well
Everything looks perfect to me.
But, Rabbit,
what about these plants?
They're all down
in the droops!
And nothing's
growing on them.
Oh, that's the beauty
of a rutabaga.
They're root vegetables.
Look.
You see the part you eat
grows underground.
It's actually the root
of the plant!
So you can't tell
what they're like just
by looking at the leaves.
And it's the same
with carrots
and turnips.
Oh, see how beautiful they are?
Well, I'll be.
Posilutely delictable.

You mean, I didn't mess up?

In fact, I've never seen
rutabagas grow so quickly.

all her friends,
lots of love.

[Darby] Pooh's Nightingale.
[bird chirping]
Hi! Buster and I are
having a sleepover at Pooh's.
We're listening to
a nightingale sing.
It sure is a pretty song
to go to sleep to,
isn't it, Pooh?
And to wake up to as well.
My friend the nightingale
sings for me every night,
and every morning.

Sings the bird
outside my window ♪

up in my tree ♪
Yes his tweeting
greets me sweetly ♪
And his trill
fulfills completely ♪
I brighten when
my nightingale ♪

Look at Buster,
he can't keep his
[yawns]
eyes open.
Oh, thank you for your
sweet song, nightingale.
[whistling]
[bird chirping]
- [Darby giggles]
Morning, Buster.
- [Buster barks]
[humming]

Good morning, Darby and Buster.
And good morning, nightingale.
Hmm, nightingale?
Hmm, how very strange.
[Darby] What's wrong, Pooh?
Well, there's no song
this morning.
And no sign of the nightingale.
But, where could
he have gone to?
I know who can
answer that where!
We'll call the Super Sleuths!

Time to slap my cap!

[all] Are on the case.
[barking]

[gasps] You're right!
There are way too many leaves
on that tree!

So, not enough leaves
on that tree?
My friend, the nightingale,
is always up there
singing when I wake up.
But, he wasn't there
this morning.
Ah, the little birdie
probably just got up early.
I hear they do that
sometimes, you know,
to catch the worm?
I bet you're right, Tigger.
The nightingale probably went
looking for some breakfast!
But how's knowin' that
gonna help us
track this tweeter?
It's time for us to
[all] Think, think, think.
Now's the time

When you have a problem

Look at every clue
like the Super Sleuths do ♪

OK, if the Nighty-guy's
hungry for breakfast,
alls we gotta do
is put some food out,
huh, huh, what do you think,
are you with me?
You're a genius, Tigger.
Then wherever
the nightingale is,
he'll come back here to eat!
[birds chirping]
Are any of these birds
Pooh's nightingale?
Nope. It doesn't look
like he's here.
Sorry, Pooh.
[barking]
What on earth's going on?
I saw a whole swarm
of birds headed this way.
We put out some seeds
to try to get Pooh's nightingale
to come back to his tree.
You haven't seen him,
have you, Rabbit?
Your nightingale?
No, I haven't.
[sigh] I do so miss
hearing his song.
Well, if it's
his song you miss,
I may be able
to help you there.
Yes, yes! Oh!
I know just the thing.
[distant horn blows]
Sounds like we've
got another case.
Oh, yeah!
Yep! We're needed
at Turtle's cave.
Like, Turtle-y!
Thanks for comin',
Super Sleuths.
What'd you call us about,
Turtle?
Well, there seems to be
something caught in my cave.
A bird!
A bird!? Could it be
[gasp] Pooh! I bet it's
your nightingale! Come on!
[chirping]
He must have flown
in here by accident,
but the poor fella can't seem
to reckon his way out.
Maybe I can en-lighten
this nightin-guy.
It is him!
It's all right, little friend.
It's me!
[chirps]
Ooh, it's good
to see you, too.
- [Nightingale singing]
- [Buster barking]
- [chirps]
- Oh, I believe
he's thanking us!
Aw, you're welcome,
little peeper cheeper!

Looks like we solved
two cases at once, Pooh!

A homemade singing bird.
Just the thing
to take the place
of Pooh's nightingale.
[Nightingale chirps]
Oh! Hello there, nightingale.
You're back!
Well, I have some good news.
You don't need to sing
for Pooh any more!
He has a new bird now.
See?
[mechanical bird squawks]
Isn't he wonderful?
I'm sure Pooh will just love
the way my wind-up bird sings!
[chirps sadly]
And now, since you
don't have to stay
in this tree all the time,
you can go anywhere
you like. Go ahead.
Fly away!
[mechanical winding]
[mechanical bird squawking]
What's that funny noise?
[whimpers]
Oh! Hello, Sleuths!
You're just in time
to hear my invention.
Here it is, Pooh.
Your new nightingale!
Uh, Rabbit,
is that supposed to sound
like the real nightingale?
It sounds exactly like it.
Only better!
Don't you agree?
Well, it's
- kinda
- Yeah. Ooh, it sure is.
[barking]
Um, does it perhaps know,
any other song?
What? Uh, well, uh, no.
But at least this bird
won't ever fly off,
or get lost,
or get tired,
it always sounds the same,
day or night.
Thank you, Rabbit.
But if you don't mind me
saying so,
I much prefer my friend,
the real nightingale.
And he should be
back here any minute.
Oh, no. I was so sure
you'd like my wind-up bird,
I I told him to take
some time off.
That you didn't
need him anymore.
- You told him that?
- Oh, my.
I hope his feelings
weren't hurt.
It sure would hurt my feelers
if somebody told me
they didn't need me.
Oh, I, uh, I never
thought of that.
I was only trying to help.
We better go find
your nightingale, Pooh.
To tell him I do need him
and to ask him to come back!
So we are un-historied
and re-mysteried!

Tell the nightingale I'm sorry!
[sighs]
Well, my wind-up friend,
you can always come home
and sing for me.
[squawks]
[explodes]

[sad chirp]

I'm so sorry we can't find
your nightingale, Pooh.
Yeah. Always kinda
cheered me uppity
to hear him sing, you know?
[Pooh sadly] If he were
only here, I would thank him.
And tell him how much
we all love him.
Rabbit didn't mean
to hurt his feelings,
but no wind-up bird
could ever take the place
of your nightingale.
I hate to think of him
out there somewhere feeling sad.
I'd give anything
to hear him sing again.
- [nightingale chirps]
- You know, it's,
it's almost like I can
hear him tweeterin' now.
- [nightingale chirps]
- [Darby gasps] Hey!
That is him!
Oh!
Nightingale, my friend,
would you please come home
and sing for me again?
He sounds better than ever,
doesn't he?
I think he's just happy to be
singing for you again, Pooh.
