MIRA: "The Mystery
of the Legendary Sword."
There he is. Hurry up, before he leaves.
Ooh, I wonder what he's selling today.
I hope it's laddus.
Prince Neel, Mira. My favorite customers.
Good morning.
-Morning, Uncle.
-Good morning.
You're just in time.
I was about to head out of town.
I'm so glad we didn't miss you.
You sell the most interesting things.
I'm looking for a piece of metal.
For one of your inventions, I presume?
You've come to the right place.
Uncle, you really should think
about selling tasty treats.
Something a mongoose
might enjoy snacking on.
Lassis, laddus.
(CHUCKLES) Thank you for the suggestion,
my mongoose friends. I will consider it.
Oh, look. This is perfect
for my latest invention.
Well, well, well. Would you look at that?
Prince Neel invented the chair.
This is no ordinary chair,
Mikku and Chikku.
I call it "The Supercharged Spring Seat."
These springs launch the seat
and whoever's on it, high into the air.
That's amazing, Neel.
You wanna see amazing? Watch this.
I'm going to launch myself
all the way to the top of the banyan tree.
All I need to do is pull this
latch release and, Spring Seat launch!
Whoa!
-Neel.
-Are you okay?
-I may need to
-(GASPS)
adjust the Whoa! Launch angle. Whoo!
Neel.
Soggy samosas!
-MIRA: Oh, no. Stop that cart.
-(MEN GASP)
MIKKU: Cart on the loose!
-Oof.
-Cup of chai, Mikku?
Oh, I'd love one.
Look out, everybody!
Neel, I got you.
-Nice.
-Whoa.
Whoa, cart, whoa. Hang on.
(WHIRRING)
(SIGHS) Thanks, Mira.
-Citizens of Jalpur! Prince Neel is fine.
-(GASPS)
-(CROWD SIGHS IN RELIEF)
-But the cart? Not so fine.
Oh, I'm very sorry about this, Uncle.
-We'll help you clean up.
-Oh, thank you, Prince Neel.
Oh, this looks interesting.
-What is it?
-Ah, it's a sheath that goes on a sword.
Uncle, where did you find it?
Who knows? I pick up odds and ends
all over the place.
Wow. There are pieces of jade on it.
Look. Each one has a picture of an eagle.
Really? Eagles were the royal symbol
of an ancient kingdom
that used to be near here.
-Can I see?
-This is exciting.
Do you think we found an ancient relic?
It looks old.
That's what an ancient relic is, Mikku.
Old and important.
Old and important,
just like the laddus under my bed.
Your Highness,
please accept this sheath as my gift.
We would love to pay for it.
Absolutely not.
You two are my favorite customers. Enjoy.
-Thank you so much.
-That's so nice of you.
Mira, if it is royal,
there's one person who will know for sure.
Little brother, why would you bring
this dusty piece of junk to the palace?
We think it might be a royal relic, Veer.
(SCOFFS) Oh, please. I can recognize
a royal relic when I see one.
And this is not it.
Why, this looks like a royal relic.
See? I told you.
Queen Shanti, where did it come from?
I'm not sure. But I think
the Royal Book of Swords can tell us more.
There's a Royal Book of Swords?
This I gotta see.
Ah, yes. Here it is.
(GASPS) Neel, Mira!
You have found the sheath
to the legendary eagle sword.
Incredible.
-So exciting.
-Ahem.
-We were there too.
-Just saying.
Well done, Mikku and Chikku.
So, Mother, what makes
this sword legendary?
Oh, there's a whole story
that goes along with it.
Many years ago,
the eagle sword belonged
to King Bahadur Singh.
He ruled over an ancient kingdom
that included the land of Jalpur.
King Bahadur Singh
was a brave and strong leader,
who wielded his sword in many battles,
protecting the people of his land.
Before he died,
he hid the sword in his fortress.
He declared that only the strongest
in the kingdom could find the sword.
And whoever passed the many tests
of strength required to find it,
would rule the entire kingdom.
ALL: Whoa!
Mother, is it true?
Well, these stories
always have some truth to them.
But no one is really sure.
Your majesty,
your guests are here for tea.
Thank you, Rubi.
Let's leave the sheath
in the library for safekeeping.
I'll take care of it, Mother.
Mira, do you realize what this means?
If we found the sheath,
and the story is true,
the sword must be out there, too.
If the story really is true,
we need to find that sword
before someone else does.
Because whoever finds it
will become the ruler of Jalpur.
(SCOFFS) Excuse me?
You and Mira are going to find the sword?
I think you're missing someone.
Thank you, Prince Veer,
Chikku and I will be happy
to accompany you, Mira.
-Oh, yeah.
-VEER: Ahem.
I meant that I would be going.
As crown prince, it is my duty to return
the sword to my mother, the Queen.
And naturally, you need me
to pass all the tests of strength.
We'd love to have you come, Veer.
That means we're
all on the case of the legendary sword.
We're on the case
We're on the case
We're on the case
Look a little closer
With your magnifying glass
Open up your notebook
Get your coat
And badge on fast
Ask all the questions
Follow your senses
Focus on every clue
BOTH: Ooh.
Listen for answers
Find what you're after
That's what detectives do
We're on the case
We're on the case We're on the case
Look here. Underneath the drawing
of the eagle sword, it says,
"To get back the sword,
find the egg behind the rainbow
"watched over by the rock of an eagle."
Maybe that's a clue.
Well, this is silly.
Rainbow? Eagle?
Why didn't this king just
come out and say where the sword is?
I bet rock of an eagle
means the eagle rock
above the cave outside town.
And the eagle rock overlooks Champa Falls.
Remember when we were there before?
The sunlight
on the spray from the waterfall,
created a beautiful rainbow.
That's right.
Champa Falls must be
where we're supposed to look.
That's just what I was gonna say.
Champa Falls.
MIRA: Let's go find that sword.
If only the strongest
Can find the sword
Then we'll be the toughest
You can't ignore
We're fierce and ferocious and fast
-So fast!
-(CHITTERS)
We're a team
And we'll tackle this snack!
You mean, task?
If we need to solve it
We'll find a way
Adventure is calling
We're bold and brave
We'll take on this challenge with ease
BOTH: Mongoose muscle!
Finding the sword will be a breeze. Whoa!
There it is.
Champa Falls.
MIKKU:
And there's a pretty, pretty rainbow.
Just like I remembered.
Enough chitchat. Let's get to the Falls
and find that sword.
-Veer, the path is over here.
-As I said, that way.
When the going gets tough
We got the stuff
If the journey is long
-You gotta be strong
-You gotta be strong
When the mountain is high
The mighty will try
When the pressure is on
You gotta be strong
-CHIKKU: Beautiful.
-MIKKU: Whoa.
Who knew rainbows were so damp?
VEER: Now, where's the egg?
Well, we're supposed to find
the egg behind the rainbow.
We're behind the waterfall rainbow.
And that looks like
A jade egg.
Ah, we did it. We solved the first riddle.
See how easy that was?
I'll just reach up and get it.
(GRUNTING)
Okay, almost there. Just one more time.
(YELPING)
It's a booby trap.
The king must have put it there
to make it harder to get to the egg.
Stand back.
Expert mongoose climbers at your service.
(BOTH GRUNTING)
The rocks are too slippery to climb now.
So how do we get it?
Simple. Neel and I can stand together,
and then you can climb
on my very strong shoulders, Mira.
I guess that could work.
Of course it will work.
It's my idea.
Neel, stand right here.
Here I go.
(GRUNTS)
Don't worry.
That's just my face you're stepping on.
(GRUNTING)
I can't quite reach the egg.
We'll help.
(LAUGHING) It tickles. It tickles.
Whoa, whoa, ahhh!
Neel, hold still.
I Must Not Sneeze.
Almost there.
-Must Not Sneeze.
-(CHIKKU AND MIKKU GRUNTING)
Got it!
-(SNEEZES)
-Whoa!
Like I said.
Worked perfectly.
Um, Veer.
It looks like there's a baby snake
on top of the egg.
Don't be silly, Mira.
I think I would notice
if there was a baby snake
on top of the egg.
(HISSES)
On second thought, there might in fact
be a baby snake on top of this egg.
Maybe we should all back up a bit,
just in case.
Well if it is a snake,
that's mongoose business.
We'll protect you.
BOTH: Look out, you snake!
Snake? Where? I'm afraid of snakes.
Uh, I'm so sorry.
Did I hear you correctly?
You're afraid of snakes?
But you are a snake.
Oh, right.
The truth is,
I'm afraid of a lot of things.
Spiders, rocks, the sky on a sunny day.
Yeah, pretty much everything.
You don't have to be afraid of us.
My name's Mira. This is Prince Veer,
Prince Neel, Mikku and Chikku.
Hi, I'm Viju.
Do you mind if I look at the egg, Viju?
No problem, go ahead.
There are words carved into it.
"Follow the hidden path
to the eagle's perch.
"In the shadow of the eagle
in the afternoon sun,
"find an egg within an egg."
It must be another clue.
I don't see any path around here.
Must be really hidden.
Um, there's a path right here.
-CHIKKU: Where?
-You can't see it. (CHUCKLES)
You can't see it
because you don't crawl on the ground.
Viju, could you show us where it is?
Sure. Happy to help.
Follow me.
Ta-da. One path.
-The hidden path. Thanks, Viju.
-No problem.
(GASPS) What was that?
It was a twig. You slithered over it.
Oh. (SIGHS IN RELIEF)
-That was a close one.
-CHIKKU: Mira.
Are you sure we should be
trusting this snake?
Snakes and mongooses
don't get along, you know.
There's a low hanging branch up there.
Don't bonk your heads on it.
-Good call.
-Thanks Viju.
He's very sweet and he wants to help us.
Maybe you can be friends.
BOTH: Friends?
Mira, we can't rush into a friendship
with someone we just met,
Why don't you give Viju a chance?
We'll take it under consideration.
-Whoa. Look at that.
-The statue of an eagle.
It's perched on the pillar.
That's where we're supposed to look.
We're getting closer
to the legendary sword.
Leave it to me.
I will use my strength
to climb this pillar.
The clue says to find an egg
in the shadow of the eagle.
(GRUNTS)
(GRUNTING)
(SIGHS)
Well, no shadows here.
Let's look around the statue.
It's got to be somewhere.
Look out, snake!
Oh, Viju, that's your shadow.
I know. But it still scares me.
Shadows don't have to be scary.
Yeah, Viju. Shadows can be friendly.
Hi, I'm a friendly shadow bunny.
Me too. And I'm not scary at all, haha.
Hey, you're right.
Shadows puppets are funny.
(CHUCKLES) Thanks, buddies.
Did he just say buddies?
Hey, slow down with the buddy talk.
Too soon. Too soon.
Guys, look.
There's the shadow of the eagle.
And the boulder it's on
is shaped like an egg.
That's got to be it.
Let's look a little closer.
Ah-ha.
There's a door carved into the boulder.
BOTH: Secret door!
I'll just be waiting out here.
Alone.
Just me, myself.
And I.
-All right, Viju.
-I guess if you want,
you can sit on our shoulders
so you feel safe.
(GASPS) Shoulder ride?
I love shoulder rides.
Hey, you wear glasses?
I wear glasses.
We're in the glasses club.
Aw, I wanna be in the glasses club.
I got you covered.
Ooh, I've always wanted glasses.
Thanks, Viju.
Shall we see what's inside? I'll go first.
Look. Another jade egg.
Just like at the waterfall.
Exactly. A royal egg,
-for a royal prince.
-Uh-oh.
Why did the door shut?
I think this boulder
might be booby trapped.
I don't like booby traps.
This is a little too exciting
for my taste.
ALL: Whoa!
VIJU: So exciting
that it feels like the room is spinning.
MIKKU: Because it is spinning.
I don't like spinning.
BOTH: We got you, Viju.
Whoa!
Why is the whole boulder spinning?
MIRA: When Prince Veer
picked up the jade egg,
it triggered another booby trap.
CHIKKU: We're trapped
in an egg and now we're being scrambled.
I don't like being scrambled.
This couldn't be worse.
(ALL YELLING)
MIKKU: I was wrong. It's worse. Way worse.
MIRA: Neel, help!
I'm on it.
Uh, raspberry bush.
Rock, tree branches.
Neel, it's time to make a ramp
and give that egg a soft landing.
(GRUNTS)
Let's hope this works.
(SCREAMING)
(MIRA SIGHS IN RELIEF)
-Yes.
-Mmm. Yummy raspberries.
-I am okay.
-Yuck.
Great job, Neel.
That was some fast thinking.
Now, let's see if there's a clue
under all this raspberry goo.
There is. It says,
"Find the next egg
where the eagles build their nests."
There are trees everywhere.
How do we know
where the eagles build their nests?
(EAGLE SCREECHING)
I wonder if that eagle
could lead us where we need to go.
Chikku, are you thinking
what I'm thinking?
Oh, no, no, no. We are not doing that.
Oh, we have to do that.
We have to ride the eagle to its nest.
What if the eagle tries to feed us worms?
Come on. We're gonna be brave.
-(GULPS)
-(EAGLE SCREECHES)
BOTH: Mira, we got this!
CHIKKU: Next stop, eagle's nest.
Whoa, that's too fast.
(MIKKU AND CHIKKU YELL)
-MIRA: Great job, guys!
-Yeah!
MIKKU: Here we come!
-The eagle has landed.
-Thanks for the ride.
Good work, Mikku and Chikku.
-Do you see an egg?
-Or a sword?
We'll take that, too.
There's another jade egg right here.
No worms for me. Thank you so much.
I already had lunch.
But do you mind if we take this jade egg?
-(CHIRPS)
-Thanks, Mr. Eagle.
-MIKKU: Here you go.
-Wow.
Buddies, you rode on an eagle.
Correction. I rode backwards on an eagle.
Here's the next clue.
From this bird's eye view,
find my fortress to end your journey
and quench your thirst.
-Hmm. This is not a bird's eye view.
-Prince Neel
BOTH: We got this.
Do you see anything from up there?
I sure do.
A cloud that looks like a samosa.
Do you see anything
that looks like an ancient fortress?
-BOTH: Hmm.
-No.
Just some stone walls
that look like they're falling down.
CHIKKU:
Yeah, and another statue of an eagle.
ALL: That's it!
That must be
King Bahadur Singh's fortress.
Then that's where we need to go.
All right. Let's move.
ALL: Wow.
MIRA: Just think.
One thousand years ago,
this fortress must've been magnificent.
One day, I'll have a fortress of my own.
And it'll be built much better than this.
But how does this place end our journey?
Or quench our thirst?
I am thirsty.
The fortress doesn't end our journey.
This does.
CHIKKU AND MIKKU: Whoa!
MIRA: What is it, Neel?
A stepwell.
What's a stepwell?
It's a well that's big enough
to store water for a whole village.
And you can walk down
to the water no matter what level it's at.
You could take those stairs,
or those stairs, or those stairs.
I don't like stairs.
Oh, so this is where you would quench
your thirst like the clue says.
This is the end of our journey.
Excellent. I will get the legendary sword.
Uh, question.
Where is it?
Hmm. Let's see.
Look at this stone carving.
It's a picture of an eagle
with indentations under it
-shaped like
-MIKKU AND CHIKKU: Eggs!
We've seen that eagle shape before.
Let's think this through.
The eagle in that stone carving
looks exactly like the eagles
on the sword in Queen Shanti's book.
And the sheath had three jade eggs on it.
Just like the three jade eggs we found.
So, maybe we're supposed
to put the jade eggs
into those spots.
Mikku, Chikku, Viju?
Why don't you place them in there?
ALL: Okay, Mira.
-MIKKU: A one
-Two
And three.
(CREAKING)
Uh, (CHUCKLES NERVOUSLY)
is that good, or bad?
I found it!
I mean, we found it.
The legendary sword of King Bahadur Singh.
Wait a second, Veer.
Let's make sure there are no booby traps.
Look at it. So shiny and beautiful.
What are you so worried about?
There are no booby traps.
Behold, the sword of King
(ALL SCREAMING)
Oh! Bahadur.
We're in water.
I'm afraid of water.
But you're a snake.
Snakes like water.
Oh, that's right. Never mind. I'm fine.
It's actually refreshing.
I was due for a bath.
Just a little slide.
You see? Everything's fine.
(RUMBLING AND CRACKING)
NEEL: Not fine. Not fine.
The stepwell's collapsing.
MIRA: We've gotta get out of here.
That tunnel must be an exit.
Come on, this way.
(BIRDS SCREECHING)
Up ahead, daylight.
We can get out that way.
More things I'm afraid of.
Rocks, tunnels, loud noises.
I could go on.
Oh. And blocked tunnels.
BOTH: We're trapped.
Wait. We don't know that.
Maybe there's an opening somewhere.
Okay, we're trapped.
So how are we supposed to get out of here?
This is bad. Bad bad. I'm sorry.
I got us into this mess.
It's okay, Veer.
We know you just wanted to find the sword.
The king said
only the strongest can find the sword.
I thought that was me.
(SIGHS) If I can't get the sword,
how will I ever be
strong enough to protect our kingdom?
Veer, maybe when the king said strong,
he didn't just mean
being strong with your body.
A strength can be something you do well.
And each one of us
has done something really well today.
Like Neel. He made an invention
on the spot to get us out of that boulder.
And Veer. It was his idea to make
a human pyramid under the waterfall.
That got us our first clue.
And speaking of clues
Mira figured them all out.
And Mikku and Chikku
are really good at being brave.
They jumped on an eagle.
Ah, we do that all the time.
You're right, Mira.
So let's use all the things we do well
to get out of here.
Neel, get creative.
What can you invent to help us?
Well, I've got a spring seat that always
launches me in the wrong direction.
Hey, maybe you could
launch that rock out of our way.
Good idea. Okay.
Here's what we're going to do.
Everybody ready?
ALL: Ready.
I'm scared but, you know, always scared.
Viju, you can do this.
We need you to pull the latch release.
Okay, tail. Do your stuff.
ALL: Whoa!
-It worked!
-(ALL CHEERING)
Behold, I hold the legendary
eagle sword in my hand.
-Oh!
-(MONKEY CHITTERS)
CHIKKU: And now a monkey
holds it in his hand.
ALL: Oh, no.
-This is bad.
-We have to do something.
He's getting away.
I will not give up my crown to a monkey.
Excuse me.
Where do you think
you're going with that sword?
(MONKEYS CHITTERING)
Viju, that was amazing.
-Way to go, Viju.
-Excellent work.
Aw. I only did that
because you're my friends.
And we're glad to be your friends.
See, Mira? We told you we could trust him.
Snakes and mongooses make great friends.
Put it here, buddy.
Mother, may I present to you,
the legendary sword of King Bahadur Singh.
Well done! In finding the sword,
you have all brought
such great honor to Jalpur.
There sure are a lot of people here.
They look nice. Just like you guys.
Viju, we've always got each other's backs.
Speaking of backs,
(CHUCKLES) I have an itch.
Can you help me, buddy?
Sure thing. Buddy.
Everyone, please enjoy
the celebration in honor of our heroes.
(ALL CHEERING)
Oh, you have definitely
written another chapter in the legend.
How about that, Viju?
We're legendary.
And now, I shall have the royal artist
add your deeds to the book of swords.
So, I want to hear
all the details of your adventure.
Mira, you start.
Well, we began our search
behind a roaring waterfall.
VEER: Where I bravely
retrieved the first jade egg.
VIJU: And met me.
CHIKKU: Can we skip to the part
where we bravely fell into
a delicious raspberry bush?
NEEL: My invention helped us
out of a tight spot.
MIKKU: And after playing some games
with some really friendly monkeys
MIRA: We finally returned home
with the eagle sword.
ALL: The end.
MIKKU: Wow. What a story.
CHIKKU: I wanna hear it again,
and again, and again, and again.

-(CROWD SIGHS IN RELIEF)
-But the cart? Not so fine.
Oh, I'm very sorry about this, Uncle.
-We'll help you clean up.

Oh, this looks interesting.

Really? Eagles were the royal symbol

-Can I see?
-This is exciting.
Do you think we found an ancient relic?
It looks old.
That's what an ancient relic is, Mikku.
Old and important.
Old and important,
just like the laddus under my bed.
Your Highness,
please accept this sheath as my gift.
We would love to pay for it.
Absolutely not.
You two are my favorite customers. Enjoy.
-Thank you so much.
-That's so nice of you.
Mira, if it is royal,
there's one person who will know for sure.
Little brother, why would you bring
this dusty piece of junk to the palace?
We think it might be a royal relic, Veer.
(SCOFFS) Oh, please. I can recognize

And this is not it.
Why, this looks like a royal relic.
See? I told you.
Queen Shanti, where did it come from?
I'm not sure. But I think
the Royal Book of Swords can tell us more.
There's a Royal Book of Swords?
This I gotta see.
Ah, yes. Here it is.
(GASPS) Neel, Mira!
You have found the sheath
to the legendary eagle sword.
Incredible.

-Ahem.
-We were there too.

Well done, Mikku and Chikku.
So, Mother, what makes
this sword legendary?
Oh, there's a whole story

Many years ago,
the eagle sword belonged
to King Bahadur Singh.
He ruled over an ancient kingdom
that included the land of Jalpur.
King Bahadur Singh
was a brave and strong leader,
who wielded his sword in many battles,
protecting the people of his land.
Before he died,
he hid the sword in his fortress.
He declared that only the strongest
in the kingdom could find the sword.
And whoever passed the many tests
of strength required to find it,
would rule the entire kingdom.
ALL: Whoa!
Mother, is it true?
Well, these stories
always have some truth to them.
But no one is really sure.
Your majesty,
your guests are here for tea.
Thank you, Rubi.
Let's leave the sheath
in the library for safekeeping.
I'll take care of it, Mother.
Mira, do you realize what this means?
If we found the sheath,
and the story is true,
the sword must be out there, too.
If the story really is true,
we need to find that sword
before someone else does.
Because whoever finds it
will become the ruler of Jalpur.
(SCOFFS) Excuse me?
You and Mira are going to find the sword?
I think you're missing someone.
Thank you, Prince Veer,
Chikku and I will be happy
to accompany you, Mira.
-Oh, yeah.
-VEER: Ahem.
I meant that I would be going.
As crown prince, it is my duty to return
the sword to my mother, the Queen.
And naturally, you need me
to pass all the tests of strength.
We'd love to have you come, Veer.
That means we're
all on the case of the legendary sword.
We're on the case
We're on the case
We're on the case
Look a little closer
With your magnifying glass
Open up your notebook
Get your coat
And badge on fast
Ask all the questions
Follow your senses
Focus on every clue
BOTH: Ooh.
Listen for answers
Find what you're after
That's what detectives do
We're on the case
We're on the case We're on the case
Look here. Underneath the drawing
of the eagle sword, it says,
"To get back the sword,
find the egg behind the rainbow
"watched over by the rock of an eagle."
Maybe that's a clue.
Well, this is silly.
Rainbow? Eagle?
Why didn't this king just
come out and say where the sword is?
I bet rock of an eagle
means the eagle rock
above the cave outside town.
And the eagle rock overlooks Champa Falls.
Remember when we were there before?
The sunlight
on the spray from the waterfall,
created a beautiful rainbow.
That's right.
Champa Falls must be
where we're supposed to look.
That's just what I was gonna say.
Champa Falls.
MIRA: Let's go find that sword.
If only the strongest
Can find the sword
Then we'll be the toughest
You can't ignore
We're fierce and ferocious and fast
-So fast!
-(CHITTERS)
We're a team
And we'll tackle this snack!
You mean, task?
If we need to solve it
We'll find a way
Adventure is calling
We're bold and brave
We'll take on this challenge with ease
BOTH: Mongoose muscle!
Finding the sword will be a breeze. Whoa!
There it is.
Champa Falls.
MIKKU:
And there's a pretty, pretty rainbow.
Just like I remembered.
Enough chitchat. Let's get to the Falls
and find that sword.
-Veer, the path is over here.
-As I said, that way.
When the going gets tough
We got the stuff
If the journey is long
-You gotta be strong
-You gotta be strong
When the mountain is high
The mighty will try
When the pressure is on
You gotta be strong
-CHIKKU: Beautiful.
-MIKKU: Whoa.
Who knew rainbows were so damp?
VEER: Now, where's the egg?
Well, we're supposed to find
the egg behind the rainbow.
We're behind the waterfall rainbow.
And that looks like
A jade egg.
Ah, we did it. We solved the first riddle.
See how easy that was?
I'll just reach up and get it.
(GRUNTING)
Okay, almost there. Just one more time.
(YELPING)
It's a booby trap.
The king must have put it there
to make it harder to get to the egg.
Stand back.
Expert mongoose climbers at your service.
(BOTH GRUNTING)
The rocks are too slippery to climb now.
So how do we get it?
Simple. Neel and I can stand together,
and then you can climb
on my very strong shoulders, Mira.
I guess that could work.
Of course it will work.
It's my idea.
Neel, stand right here.
Here I go.
(GRUNTS)
Don't worry.
That's just my face you're stepping on.
(GRUNTING)
I can't quite reach the egg.
We'll help.
(LAUGHING) It tickles. It tickles.
Whoa, whoa, ahhh!
Neel, hold still.
I Must Not Sneeze.
Almost there.
-Must Not Sneeze.
-(CHIKKU AND MIKKU GRUNTING)
Got it!
-(SNEEZES)
-Whoa!
Like I said.
Worked perfectly.
Um, Veer.
It looks like there's a baby snake
on top of the egg.
Don't be silly, Mira.
I think I would notice
if there was a baby snake
on top of the egg.
(HISSES)
On second thought, there might in fact
be a baby snake on top of this egg.
Maybe we should all back up a bit,
just in case.
Well if it is a snake,
that's mongoose business.
We'll protect you.
BOTH: Look out, you snake!
Snake? Where? I'm afraid of snakes.
Uh, I'm so sorry.
Did I hear you correctly?
You're afraid of snakes?
But you are a snake.
Oh, right.
The truth is,
I'm afraid of a lot of things.
Spiders, rocks, the sky on a sunny day.
Yeah, pretty much everything.
You don't have to be afraid of us.
My name's Mira. This is Prince Veer,
Prince Neel, Mikku and Chikku.
Hi, I'm Viju.
Do you mind if I look at the egg, Viju?
No problem, go ahead.
There are words carved into it.
"Follow the hidden path
to the eagle's perch.
"In the shadow of the eagle
in the afternoon sun,
"find an egg within an egg."
It must be another clue.
I don't see any path around here.
Must be really hidden.
Um, there's a path right here.
-CHIKKU: Where?
-You can't see it. (CHUCKLES)
You can't see it
because you don't crawl on the ground.
Viju, could you show us where it is?
Sure. Happy to help.
Follow me.
Ta-da. One path.
-The hidden path. Thanks, Viju.
-No problem.
(GASPS) What was that?
It was a twig. You slithered over it.
Oh. (SIGHS IN RELIEF)
-That was a close one.
-CHIKKU: Mira.
Are you sure we should be
trusting this snake?
Snakes and mongooses
don't get along, you know.
There's a low hanging branch up there.
Don't bonk your heads on it.
-Good call.
-Thanks Viju.
He's very sweet and he wants to help us.
Maybe you can be friends.
BOTH: Friends?
Mira, we can't rush into a friendship
with someone we just met,
Why don't you give Viju a chance?
We'll take it under consideration.
-Whoa. Look at that.
-The statue of an eagle.
It's perched on the pillar.
That's where we're supposed to look.
We're getting closer
to the legendary sword.
Leave it to me.
I will use my strength
to climb this pillar.
The clue says to find an egg
in the shadow of the eagle.
(GRUNTS)
(GRUNTING)
(SIGHS)
Well, no shadows here.
Let's look around the statue.
It's got to be somewhere.
Look out, snake!
Oh, Viju, that's your shadow.
I know. But it still scares me.
Shadows don't have to be scary.
Yeah, Viju. Shadows can be friendly.
Hi, I'm a friendly shadow bunny.
Me too. And I'm not scary at all, haha.
Hey, you're right.
Shadows puppets are funny.
(CHUCKLES) Thanks, buddies.
Did he just say buddies?
Hey, slow down with the buddy talk.
Too soon. Too soon.
Guys, look.
There's the shadow of the eagle.
And the boulder it's on
is shaped like an egg.
That's got to be it.
Let's look a little closer.
Ah-ha.
There's a door carved into the boulder.
BOTH: Secret door!
I'll just be waiting out here.
Alone.
Just me, myself.
And I.
-All right, Viju.
-I guess if you want,
you can sit on our shoulders
so you feel safe.
(GASPS) Shoulder ride?
I love shoulder rides.
Hey, you wear glasses?
I wear glasses.
We're in the glasses club.
Aw, I wanna be in the glasses club.
I got you covered.
Ooh, I've always wanted glasses.
Thanks, Viju.
Shall we see what's inside? I'll go first.
Look. Another jade egg.
Just like at the waterfall.
Exactly. A royal egg,
-for a royal prince.
-Uh-oh.
Why did the door shut?
I think this boulder
might be booby trapped.
I don't like booby traps.
This is a little too exciting
for my taste.
ALL: Whoa!
VIJU: So exciting
that it feels like the room is spinning.
MIKKU: Because it is spinning.
I don't like spinning.
BOTH: We got you, Viju.
Whoa!
Why is the whole boulder spinning?
MIRA: When Prince Veer
picked up the jade egg,
it triggered another booby trap.
CHIKKU: We're trapped
in an egg and now we're being scrambled.
I don't like being scrambled.
This couldn't be worse.
(ALL YELLING)
MIKKU: I was wrong. It's worse. Way worse.
MIRA: Neel, help!
I'm on it.
Uh, raspberry bush.
Rock, tree branches.
Neel, it's time to make a ramp
and give that egg a soft landing.
(GRUNTS)
Let's hope this works.
(SCREAMING)
(MIRA SIGHS IN RELIEF)
-Yes.
-Mmm. Yummy raspberries.
-I am okay.
-Yuck.
Great job, Neel.
That was some fast thinking.
Now, let's see if there's a clue
under all this raspberry goo.
There is. It says,
"Find the next egg
where the eagles build their nests."
There are trees everywhere.
How do we know
where the eagles build their nests?
(EAGLE SCREECHING)
I wonder if that eagle
could lead us where we need to go.
Chikku, are you thinking
what I'm thinking?
Oh, no, no, no. We are not doing that.
Oh, we have to do that.
We have to ride the eagle to its nest.
What if the eagle tries to feed us worms?
Come on. We're gonna be brave.
-(GULPS)
-(EAGLE SCREECHES)
BOTH: Mira, we got this!
CHIKKU: Next stop, eagle's nest.
Whoa, that's too fast.
(MIKKU AND CHIKKU YELL)
-MIRA: Great job, guys!
-Yeah!
MIKKU: Here we come!
-The eagle has landed.
-Thanks for the ride.
Good work, Mikku and Chikku.
-Do you see an egg?
-Or a sword?
We'll take that, too.
There's another jade egg right here.
No worms for me. Thank you so much.
I already had lunch.
But do you mind if we take this jade egg?
-(CHIRPS)
-Thanks, Mr. Eagle.
-MIKKU: Here you go.
-Wow.
Buddies, you rode on an eagle.
Correction. I rode backwards on an eagle.
Here's the next clue.
From this bird's eye view,
find my fortress to end your journey
and quench your thirst.
-Hmm. This is not a bird's eye view.
-Prince Neel
BOTH: We got this.
Do you see anything from up there?
I sure do.
A cloud that looks like a samosa.
Do you see anything
that looks like an ancient fortress?
-BOTH: Hmm.
-No.
Just some stone walls
that look like they're falling down.
CHIKKU:
Yeah, and another statue of an eagle.
ALL: That's it!
That must be
King Bahadur Singh's fortress.
Then that's where we need to go.
All right. Let's move.
ALL: Wow.
MIRA: Just think.
One thousand years ago,
this fortress must've been magnificent.
One day, I'll have a fortress of my own.
And it'll be built much better than this.
But how does this place end our journey?
Or quench our thirst?
I am thirsty.
The fortress doesn't end our journey.
This does.
CHIKKU AND MIKKU: Whoa!
MIRA: What is it, Neel?
A stepwell.
What's a stepwell?
It's a well that's big enough
to store water for a whole village.
And you can walk down
to the water no matter what level it's at.
You could take those stairs,
or those stairs, or those stairs.
I don't like stairs.
Oh, so this is where you would quench
your thirst like the clue says.
This is the end of our journey.
Excellent. I will get the legendary sword.
Uh, question.
Where is it?
Hmm. Let's see.
Look at this stone carving.
It's a picture of an eagle
with indentations under it
-shaped like
-MIKKU AND CHIKKU: Eggs!
We've seen that eagle shape before.
Let's think this through.
The eagle in that stone carving
looks exactly like the eagles
on the sword in Queen Shanti's book.
And the sheath had three jade eggs on it.
Just like the three jade eggs we found.
So, maybe we're supposed
to put the jade eggs
into those spots.
Mikku, Chikku, Viju?
Why don't you place them in there?
ALL: Okay, Mira.
-MIKKU: A one
-Two
And three.
(CREAKING)
Uh, (CHUCKLES NERVOUSLY)
is that good, or bad?
I found it!
I mean, we found it.
The legendary sword of King Bahadur Singh.
Wait a second, Veer.
Let's make sure there are no booby traps.
Look at it. So shiny and beautiful.
What are you so worried about?
There are no booby traps.
Behold, the sword of King
(ALL SCREAMING)
Oh! Bahadur.
We're in water.
I'm afraid of water.
But you're a snake.
Snakes like water.
Oh, that's right. Never mind. I'm fine.
It's actually refreshing.
I was due for a bath.
Just a little slide.
You see? Everything's fine.
(RUMBLING AND CRACKING)
NEEL: Not fine. Not fine.
The stepwell's collapsing.
MIRA: We've gotta get out of here.
That tunnel must be an exit.
Come on, this way.
(BIRDS SCREECHING)
Up ahead, daylight.
We can get out that way.
More things I'm afraid of.
Rocks, tunnels, loud noises.
I could go on.
Oh. And blocked tunnels.
BOTH: We're trapped.
Wait. We don't know that.
Maybe there's an opening somewhere.
Okay, we're trapped.
So how are we supposed to get out of here?
This is bad. Bad bad. I'm sorry.
I got us into this mess.
It's okay, Veer.
We know you just wanted to find the sword.
The king said
only the strongest can find the sword.
I thought that was me.
(SIGHS) If I can't get the sword,
how will I ever be
strong enough to protect our kingdom?
Veer, maybe when the king said strong,
he didn't just mean
being strong with your body.
A strength can be something you do well.
And each one of us
has done something really well today.
Like Neel. He made an invention
on the spot to get us out of that boulder.
And Veer. It was his idea to make
a human pyramid under the waterfall.
That got us our first clue.
And speaking of clues
Mira figured them all out.
And Mikku and Chikku
are really good at being brave.
They jumped on an eagle.
Ah, we do that all the time.
You're right, Mira.
So let's use all the things we do well
to get out of here.
Neel, get creative.
What can you invent to help us?
Well, I've got a spring seat that always
launches me in the wrong direction.
Hey, maybe you could
launch that rock out of our way.
Good idea. Okay.
Here's what we're going to do.
Everybody ready?
ALL: Ready.
I'm scared but, you know, always scared.
Viju, you can do this.
We need you to pull the latch release.
Okay, tail. Do your stuff.
ALL: Whoa!
-It worked!
-(ALL CHEERING)
Behold, I hold the legendary
eagle sword in my hand.
-Oh!
-(MONKEY CHITTERS)
CHIKKU: And now a monkey
holds it in his hand.
ALL: Oh, no.
-This is bad.
-We have to do something.
He's getting away.
I will not give up my crown to a monkey.
Excuse me.
Where do you think
you're going with that sword?
(MONKEYS CHITTERING)
Viju, that was amazing.
-Way to go, Viju.
-Excellent work.
Aw. I only did that
because you're my friends.
And we're glad to be your friends.
See, Mira? We told you we could trust him.
Snakes and mongooses make great friends.
Put it here, buddy.
Mother, may I present to you,
the legendary sword of King Bahadur Singh.
Well done! In finding the sword,
you have all brought
such great honor to Jalpur.
There sure are a lot of people here.
They look nice. Just like you guys.
Viju, we've always got each other's backs.
Speaking of backs,
(CHUCKLES) I have an itch.
Can you help me, buddy?
Sure thing. Buddy.
Everyone, please enjoy
the celebration in honor of our heroes.
(ALL CHEERING)
Oh, you have definitely
written another chapter in the legend.
How about that, Viju?
We're legendary.
And now, I shall have the royal artist
add your deeds to the book of swords.
So, I want to hear
all the details of your adventure.
Mira, you start.
Well, we began our search
behind a roaring waterfall.
VEER: Where I bravely
retrieved the first jade egg.
VIJU: And met me.
CHIKKU: Can we skip to the part
where we bravely fell into
a delicious raspberry bush?
NEEL: My invention helped us
out of a tight spot.
MIKKU: And after playing some games
with some really friendly monkeys
MIRA: We finally returned home
with the eagle sword.
ALL: The end.
MIKKU: Wow. What a story.
CHIKKU: I wanna hear it again,
and again, and again, and again.
(THEME MUSIC PLAYING)
