entered his pumpkin
in a vegetable contest.
Beaver and Raccoon
are the judges.

It is a very
nice pumpkin.

Every vegetable in the contest

is a theme song?
It's a song that tells you
something about a person
or a thing, like
Tigger's bouncing song.
Sounds like a
song cue to me!

about Rabbit's pumpkin

Is about Rabbit's

And all the things
this particular pumpkin has ♪
That makes Rabbit want
to make up a song about it ♪
So everyone will know what
it is and it's a pump ♪♪

[clears throat]
Rabbit's pumpkin has
a color just like honey ♪
Which is a Pooh Bear's
favorite sort of stuff ♪
Though there's
honey in the morning ♪

in the evening ♪
Somehow it seems
I never get enough ♪♪
But Pooh that song
wasn't about my pumpkin!
It was about honey!
It was? Oh.
Wow. Making up a song is harder
than I thought it would be.
We might need
more help.
We'll ask everybody in
the Wood to make up a song
about Rabbit's pumpkin.
That's a wonderful idea!
Then I can choose
the one I like best
to be my pumpkin's
theme song!

Reckon now I'll just have
to let the paint dry.
I'll tell me what,
I'll go fetch Porcupine
and by the time we get back,
this paint'll be as dry
as a whistle in a windstorm.
[humming]
[Pooh] Oh.
Oh, bother.
The only kind of honey I
don't like is spilled honey.
Hmm. Perhaps I'd better
have a smackerel now.
Just enough so I
don't spill any more.
Hmm. What
a lovely bench.
Perfectly cozy
for a Pooh Bear,
such as me, to sit
on and eat honey.
[smacking]
Oh, bother. I seem to
have eaten more than just,
um, just enough. Hmm.
[grunts] Well, I can't spill
any honey when it's in my tummy!
[giggling and humming]
[Tigger] A one berry,
two berry, three berry, four!
- Pick a berry over there-y,
- Hi!
Tigger and I are gathering
blueberries for our picnic.
- [Tigger gasping]
- What is it, Tigger?
It's the biggest, bluest
berry that ever berried!
[Darby gasps] You're right,
that's a gigantic berry!
Just think how many pies Long
Ears could make out of that!
[barking]
- [Pooh] Is that you, Buster?
- [whimpers]
Hmm. Berry talkative
for a berry, that is.
[Buster yapping]
Look out, Buster! I think
that berry's gonna fall!
Which berry is that?
Pooh-boy?
- [barking]
- Well, hello there.
[laughing]
Uh, Pooh?
Why is your
bottom blue?
Blue? My bottom?
Well, I don't
It is.
Hmm. Why didn't anyone
ever tell me before?
[giggles] Pooh, your
bottom wasn't blue before!
Something must have just
happened to make it blue!
[gasps] Don't you see
what's happening here?
The Pooh Bear,
the blueberries?
Bear, berries,
bear, berries.
Pooh-boy is turning
into a Pooh-berry!
- [sobs]
- [whimpers]
Well, that does make
perfect sense, Tigger,
since I do very
much like berries.
You guys, I don't think
Pooh's turning into a berry.
But he is blue, so we got to
sleuth up and figure out why!
[horn blows]
Time to slap my cap.
Whoa!
Gasp! Pooh-boy!
You're even bluey-er now!
[giggles] That's just
his sweater, Tigger.
Say the oath with us
and do what we do!

[barks]

Perhaps we should go back
to the blueberry bushes
where my blueness
first began?

Something's making Pooh
turn blue, but what?
[smacking]
That is a very
good question.

How did Pooh
start turning blue?
I know when I eat blue snow
cones my tongue turns blue.
Yeah, maybe Pooh boy
ate something blue, too!
Like blue berries?
Maybe that's it!
Pooh is turning the
color of blueberries
'cause he ate
too many of them.
Oh, dear.
Do you think, perhaps,
if I eat something my
regular Pooh-ish color,
I shall turn back to it?
Now, that is
the kind of genius
you only get
from a Blue Bear.
But what kind of food is
the same color as you, Pooh?
Why, only my favorite
sort of food!
Honey!
I'll tell you,
you are going to be as pleased
as a pickle at a picnic.
Oh, I'm sure
I will, Turtle.
I just love surprises!
What in the Wood?
Um, Turtle?
Are we there yet?
Oh, I don't
believe this!
I just don't know
what happened!
What? What happened?
A bench! Did you
make this for me?
Sure did. But this mark
wasn't here before.
I'm sure I painted
the whole bench blue.
Hmm. It almost looks like
some kind of footprint.
You hit the nail
on the wagon!
But do we know anyone with feet
that make prints this huge?
Nope, not even Lumpy could
make footprints this big.
In fact nobody
we know could!
[gasping]
You don't suppose
It's an extra large
Woozle footprint!
[smacking]
Yum.
This is my favorite
way to, um
solve cases.
Well, I'm starting to see why
Pooh-boy's the color of honey
in the first place!
Come on!
So if eating too many
blueberries turned Pooh blue,
eating all this honey should
turn him back to his normal,
honey color.
Let's see if it worked.
Stand up, Pooh!
Did it work?
Aw. Sorry, Pooh.
[Buster whines]
[Tigger] Not to worry,
my blue and unblue amigos!
This stripedy Sleuther
has just the thing!
Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!
[Tigger] OK, now, if we
can't get rid of Pooh-boy's
bluish imperfect-sheeun,
we'll just cover it up!
Cover it up?
Hold still,
your bluishness.
Uh, Tigger
Uh-uh-uh, this'll
just take a second.
Voilà, and ta-da,
and ooh la la!
So, how's Pooh-boy look?
Pretty good, huh?
He reminds me of
Rabbit's kitchen.
Oh, well yeah. That that's
Long Ears' left-over wallpaper.
Very cheery,
don't you think?
I believe I would like it,
if I could see it
a bit better.
It is a little itchy, however.
[sniffs and whines]
[yipping]
Bother.
It seems I shall have to
be a blue bear forever.
A bear who's
not a Pooh Bear ♪
But rather
is a blue bear ♪
Is he still the
bear he once was? ♪
Will his friends
still love him ♪
Or think
much less of him ♪
If there's a different
color to his fuzz? ♪
Perhaps as a blue bear ♪
It's only my blue hair ♪
That changes
and not my inside ♪
Why, my friends
will still love me ♪
They'll still take
good care of me ♪
And won't mind
my bluish Pooh hide ♪
[giggles]
Goodness.
Aw Pooh, you know
we'll still love you,
no matter what
color you are.
Oh, why thank you,
Darby.
[horn blowing]
Ear-itate that?
Somebody needs our
sleuthifying help!
Goodness! My first
case as a blue bear!
[Porcupine] Super Sleuths,
Super Sleuths!
A giant Woozle monster
is on the loose!
And he stepped on the
bench Turtle gave me!
Oh, come quick!
[Darby] What are
you doing, Turtle?
[shushing]
On the lookout
for a Woozle monster.
Could show up
any minute.
Whoa! That is a
big Woozle print.
You know, this bench
looks rather like the bench
I sat on this morning
to eat my honey.
Although that
bench was all blue
and back then I wasn't.
This morning,
my bench was all blue.
I'd just painted it.
Pooh, Turtle! I think
you found a clue!
If the bench was just
painted this morning,
the paint was still wet
when Pooh sat on it!
What do you think happened to
the bench and to Pooh's bottom?
I think so, too!
So, perhaps my sitting
on the wet paint
caused my bottom
to be blue
and the bench
to be not?
There's no Woozle monster
on the loose, Turtle.
There's a blue-painted
Pooh Bear on the loose!
[laughing]
[barking]
Oh no, no, no.
No bluish foodish for
yours truish today.
How was your
bath, Pooh?
Wonderful.
Although the water was
rather blue to see me go.
[giggles]
Oh, I wonder if I shall
miss being a blue bear.
It was quite an
adventure, you know!
Oh, don't worry,
Pooh-boy.
We'll make you the bestest,
bluest blue bear costume ever
and you can wear
it for Halloween!
How wonderful!
And can I wear it for Easter
and Valentine's Day, too?
And perhaps on
[giggles]
Silly old bear.
[barking]
Oh. Oh, my goodness.
[Darby] It doesn't matter to
your friends what you look like.
You know we'll still love you
no matter what color you are
or what kind of
clothes you have.
You will always be
our bestest buddy
no matter what
you're wearing.
[Darby] Or what your
tail looks like.
We like you
just the same.
No matter how many
stripes you have.
Your friends like you
because you're you.
