Good Witch (2015) s03e03 Episode Script
Day After Day
1 Previously on Good Witch Couldit be that Middleton's man of medicine is finally starting to believe in magic? No; I do believe in Cassie.
This town's very own flower shop owner.
That's me.
Abigail, the flower shop girl.
This town really needs you.
Here you go.
Keep the change.
- Hi! - Hi.
- Beautiful house, isn't it? - Yeah, I kinda wish I was - staying for more than one night.
- Yeah, I've got a quick turnaround, too.
What are you in town for? A career opportunity.
You? Ah, just thinking about some options for my future.
So this could be an eventful day for both of us.
- I hope that it is.
- Welcome to Grey House.
You must be Jim.
And you must be Annabel.
Either she was expecting us or that was a really good guess.
I have both of your rooms ready for an overnight stay.
All I need is a quiet place to rest before and after my job interview.
- Job interview.
- Is it with DyNayTa Tech? - V.
P.
of marketing.
- Ah.
Looks like you and I are each other's competition.
Oh.
Well then, good luck, I guess.
I should probably say the same thing to you.
Why don't we get you settled in, and then you can both enjoy everything Grey House has to offer.
I set up croquet in the back if either of you would like to play.
Oh, thanks, but I don't think that'll be happening.
I never have time for games.
- I wish I did have more time but - You and me both.
When are we gonna get that? I just need to get through today, get this job offer, and then move on to the next.
You've decided you're getting the offer? They say personnel directors like candidates who exude a high amount of confidence.
And yet it's the more humble who tend to actually get hired.
Why don't we pause this conversation for now and get you two inside, and maybe you can both have a wonderful day.
- Good morning.
- If you say so.
- You ready for another day of beauty? - At my flower shop? It'll be the same as the day before.
No two days are exactly alike.
People come in wanting flowers; people leave carrying flowers.
And then it happens - again and again.
- Abigail, good, I got you just in time.
I need some flowers.
See? I'm trying to get the city council members to approve my proposal on speed limit adjustments.
And I thought if I showed up with flowers they'd be more apt to listen as I convince them of my idea.
Do you even know why people are against it? I don't see how that matters.
I just need them to know that I'm right.
Well, you might as well say it with flowers.
Right this way.
I do enjoy coming in here whenever I get the chance.
- It's just a room full of flowers.
- Really? Is that all you see? Just tell me what you'd like so I can get started.
Oh, well, I came in here thinking "carnations," but it looks like you might be running low.
Except I ordered a shipment that just arrived.
- I don't see it.
- Look again.
I've got a van full of carnations for - Me.
Thanks.
- Great-looking shop you've got here.
- Just tell me where to sign.
- Right here.
Just use your finger.
Perfect.
I've got ten more boxes outside.
- Great, you can bring them in.
- Okay.
So, how many carnations did you want? - Ooh, put together a big bunch for me.
- But can you do it quickly? I have to get back to city hall to greet a new officer and dive into the brand new day.
Well, I guess I'd better help get that day started.
I didn't realize this house - had an actual library-library.
- I like to keep a mix of material so guests can find what they like.
Hello, Annabel.
Hi.
You look like you're enjoying the spirit of this house.
It's so rare to have the time to just curl up with a book, I thought I should take advantage of it.
Take all the time you need.
- So, how'd your interview go? - Pretty good, I think.
They seemed really impressed with my background in tech.
Really? Because they told me they really liked the unique perspective that my non-tech experience would bring.
Sounds like you both have interesting things to offer.
Edgar Allan Poe.
He's that "Quoth the Raven" guy, right? There's a lot more to Poe than The Raven.
People still read that stuff? - I've read everything he's ever written.
- And I'm named after one of his poems.
Oh.
I guess I'm the odd one.
Maybe there's a book over there you'd like to read.
Make sure it has a lot of pictures.
- What time is breakfast? - Seven until nine.
- Can I request an earlier one? - I'd like to be able to eat on my own.
And I was wondering if I could get a different room.
Maybe one not so close to the other guests.
Well, I promise to make both of your stays here as pleasant as possible.
- Thank you.
- Great.
(cell phone ringing) Sam.
Hey.
I was just checking to see if you can still make our date for coffee.
- Oh, tonight? - Yeah, - we talked about getting together? - Oh, yeah, I thought I could make it but I have a couple of guests here that I think I should stick around and watch over.
I see.
Um, can we move tonight to some other time? Yeah, sure, no problem.
Okay, I'll see you then.
I'll see you later.
So, I take it the date's not happening? Not tonight.
Shoot.
I was all ready to say "dinner is served!" I guess I shouldn't have tried to surprise her.
I'm sure you'll get another chance.
Ready for another day.
(whimsical music) - Hey.
I will see you later.
- Have a great day at school.
- Did you study for your history test? - I studied all last week.
I thought when the test was postponed yesterday you might take advantage of the extra time.
To study the exact same thing? One more day might help you see things a little differently.
- Yes, Mom.
- Bye, honey.
- Bye.
Have a good day.
- You too.
Here ya go.
Keep the change.
- I'll get your bag.
- Oh, thank you.
Well! I thought you were leaving today.
- We were supposed to.
- Both our flights got canceled and they couldn't rebook until tomorrow morning.
And you decided to share a taxi? (both): Seemed like a waste to take two.
Do you think we can get our same rooms? I'll make sure things are exactly the way they were before.
Welcome back to Grey House.
Thank you.
- Uh, who are those for? - Oh.
You.
And I've got ten more boxes just like them in my van.
- I didn't order all that.
- I sort of wondered about that, since they're the exact same order that you got yesterday.
Well, I don't need them, so you can take them back.
I wish I could, but all I do is deliver, so I'm gonna need your signature here.
You can use your finger.
Yeah, I've done this before.
Great.
So, - when are you gonna try take two? - What? - For your date with Cassie.
- Oh, I haven't thought that far ahead.
Well, it's a good thing I have.
How about Thursday night? - I'd have to move some things around.
- Then move 'em.
After the dinner rush, I'll close down the Bistro - and the place can be all yours.
- Okay, I think I can - make that happen.
Let's do it.
- And I was thinking maybe we should up the ante this time.
This is something we're doing? You want the night to be perfect, right? Of course.
Well, sometimes "perfect" needs a little help.
And you're always saying that Cassie is doing everything for everybody else and you wanted to have a special night dedicated just to her, so this is your chance - to really come through.
- I just want her to enjoy herself.
How can she not? I'm already gonna make her favorite food, and we can get the exact same flowers that you got for her.
So she'll see what she missed.
Except this time I actually have time to decorate and make the place - look extra special.
- We ne decorations? Yeah.
We're going all out so that this is perfect.
And you're gonna come up with an extra idea or two to make this date even more amazing.
Now it sounds like you're giving me an assignment.
This started out as your idea.
That's true.
Well, now this gives you one more chance to get things right.
- And really impress her.
Okay.
- Let's make it fantastic.
It's already going to be fantastic.
I'm cooking.
- Hey.
- Hi.
I was unpacking my things - and found this in my suitcase.
- Oh.
I think it's from your library, but I have no idea how it got in with my things.
- You're welcome to keep it, if you like.
- Thanks.
I've always been a fan of Poe's work in the field of dark romanticism.
Maybe it's worth a look.
- Would you care for some tea? - I'm not much of a tea drinker.
Would you like to become one? Why not? Mmm.
That's pretty good.
I brew a fresh pot every morning.
Well, then I'm glad I ended up staying for one more day.
What are you doing? - You see this marble? - I'm supposed to get it - from here to there.
- Oh.
Doesn't look that hard.
You wouldn't think it would be.
Don't you think you've already studied enough? Yeah, but since they postponed the test again I would use it for another day to relax, since you already know everything.
You're right.
Okay, gimme the phone.
So, how do I get a new marble? Tap the screen.
Ooh, a purple one! Oh.
Cassie didn't mention anybody was out here.
I've got nothing else to do while I wait for tomorrow to come.
Yeah.
If it ever even gets here.
So, how's this game work? You've never played croquet before? - Guess I was too busy reading.
- (chuckling) So, what do you do, you just hit one of those balls with the whacky thing? Yeah, that's all there is to it.
You can use my whacky thing.
Okay.
- You want to be red? - Yup.
I was going to pick red.
- You might wanna set a little closer - I've got it, thanks.
Alright.
Wow.
(chuckling) I hope you're as bad at job interviews as you are at croquet.
Yeah.
And I hope you enjoy playing games in the yard, since you'll have so much time to do so once I get the job instead of you.
Thursday night? That sounds perfect.
I can't wait to see you.
Bye, Sam.
(whimsical music) - So, you've never had a pet? - Hmm I might have had a goldfish once.
A pet is something that you can actually pet.
- Is that the official definition? - Well, it should be.
Hello.
- Hi.
- I hope you haven't given either of our rooms away.
They're still available, if you need them.
Are you back for one more day? Yeah, we were on our way to the airport when our phones rang at practically the same time.
The company wants us each to come back for a second interview.
So it really is down to just the two of you? - That's what they told us, yeah.
- Jim's feeling pretty confident he'll beat out the competition.
And Annabel's too "humble" to say she thinks the job is hers.
Well, then I'm glad I have the opportunity to welcome you back to Grey House.
And I hope you enjoy your day.
Thank you.
Thank you.
- This thing has been broken all week.
- I've been using flowers as my conversation starter for the past few days, but I feel like today I should try something else.
- Is there something you'd suggest? - How about chocolates? - When did you start selling chocolates? - When I decided I wanted to be known as someone who sells something other than flowers.
I can't seem to get it to move.
(sighing) I had bigger plans than just being a flower shop girl when I moved here from New York.
I figured this would be one small step toward something bigger.
Chocolates are a wonderful idea.
The people I'm talking to will have their mouths full and won't be able to say a word while I persuade them to agree with me.
- How many would you like? - I'll take - (both): A dozen.
- Oh.
- Everybody always wants a dozen.
I have got a delivery for a - I'm just kidding, I know who you are.
- What are you doing here? I called the company, they said they got this all straightened out.
Yeah, I thought that they had, but after I did a drop-off at the bed and breakfast across town, I noticed you were back on my schedule.
I have all this other junk that I'm trying to sell, and now I'm stuck with ten more boxes of these? Yup.
Right after you sign right here.
Do you ever get the feeling that you're just reliving the same day over and over again? Well, I don't know, but he's waiting for you to sign right there.
You can use your finger.
(inhaling sharply) Perfect.
I'll be right back.
Great.
- Ooh! - (chuckling) Is that feeling better? I have full movement back, without any pain.
Well, I now pronounce you healed.
My string quartet's gonna be so happy that I can play with them again.
Wait.
You have a string quartet? Yeah.
I told them that if the exam went well we'd get together for a rehearsal tonight.
You think if I hired you for a private performance Thursday night, you could do it? - I think we probably could.
- That would be great.
You're hired.
Wait, I should have asked if you're any good or not first.
- You can drop by and hear us tonight.
- We use the recital hall at the library.
I'll do that.
On my way home from the hospital.
- I hope you guys are good.
- It's too late.
You already hired us.
(laughing) I think we should have fire drills every day - in history class.
- Un-huh? That way we might never have - to take the test.
- Okay, would you stop worrying? I was ready for it three days ago and I'll be ready for it when it finally does happen.
Except this time I'll be ready for it too when it happens tomorrow.
- Oh, it's not happening tomorrow.
- How do you know? Um No reason.
Just a feeling.
But shouldn't you be studying for it anyways? Why? You're doing plenty for the both of us, and like you said, I already know everything.
I think Mister Beatty said there might be extra credit on local history.
Yeah, I'm planning on regular credit, I don't need extra.
Yeah, but I might.
So is there anybody who knows stuff on Middleton that could maybe help us on the test? Um, what? Seriously, is there? Yes.
There is.
Middleton a century ago was a fascinating place.
There were settlers here to be sure because of the fur trade, but it was around that time that people started moving here simply for the beauty that Middleton has to offer.
Oh, I printed up a list of their various occupations.
- That's if you're really interested.
- I am.
- Now, what did I do with it? - Chief Sanders would know.
Chief Sanders! Yoo-hoo! Oh, that's right, he's out getting our newest officer set up for traffic control.
When I find the list, I'll send it right over.
And when I get the extra credit on the test, I'll come back and thank you.
It is so good to see young people who are actually interested in history for a change.
So many of you are focused on other things like Oh! (sighing) Oh, sorry, my marble almost went in the sewer.
Ahem! Well, looks like that's the last one.
Which leaves me just enough time to get to my own private concert at the library.
- Oh, Sam.
- Cassie.
What are you doing here? - I was in the neighborhood.
- You're never in this neighborhood.
Maybe I was in it because I wanted to see you.
- Thanks for making the trip.
- How are things going? - Actually a little too busy.
- Here, and at the office.
Why don't we pick a spot for dinner, you can tell me all about it.
- Oh, you know what? I can't.
- I've gotta go hear I gotta go not here, but somewhere, and do something.
Hm! Something you don't want me to know about? It's about tomorrow night.
Now I'm really intrigued.
And you're going to be impressed if I like what I hear.
Or see, or taste.
- None of those are clues.
- I wouldn't even begin to guess.
Don't.
See you tomorrow night.
- You'll pick me up.
- Mm-hmm.
We're gonna go in style! - Oh, hey Grace, is your mother around? - Sorry, she's not home yet.
That's okay.
I wanted to ask her about that tea she's been serving.
The one I like.
Oh, I don't know.
She gets tea from a lot of different places.
That's okay.
I can just ask her tomorrow morning, before I go.
Thanks.
- Yeah.
Have a good night.
- You too.
I thought that guy was only staying here for one night? And that woman who keeps sticking around here, too.
Yeah, you know, they've been coming and going all week.
I think my mom thinks they're, I don't know, right for each other.
Like, romantically? Well, it is my mom we're talking about.
So, what, is it like they're stuck here until they finally get together? I'm not sure.
Maybe.
So when they do finally get together it'll be a brand new day.
When are you going to come out of there? Yoo-hoo! I'm ba-aack! I've still got one more person to try to convince and I've written everything down that I'm going to say.
I just need a box of chocolates to put them in a listening mood when I launch into my speech.
Maybe you should take two boxes, so you don't have to keep coming in here day after day.
And break up my morning routine? Nonsense! Because it's so much fun coming in here.
If I refuse to sign for those, does that mean I don't have to take them? - Sorry.
These are coming in whether you want them or not.
Just until I figure out a way to stop them.
- Be right back.
- Great.
Are you here for the bouquet? Yeah.
For Sam and Cassie's date.
Were you able to make them exactly like the other night? Yep.
Exactly the same.
- Great.
- Oh, I completely forgot to bring Grace's school book that she left at my office.
I was going to give it to you to take back to Grey House - to give to her.
- I can tell her you have it.
Please do.
And tell her she can stop by my office any time, day or night, and if I'm not there she can just let herself in.
- I'll let her know.
- And you'll put this on my tab? I'll just keep it running.
- Oh, those look fantastic.
- Yeah, well, when you do something once, it gets easier the second time.
Are you sure I can't interest you in some carnations, instead? No, Sam wants his date at the Bistro to be perfect.
And I have a feeling it's going to be very romantic.
I'm decorating the place way up, and Sam even hired a string quartet to play while they eat.
It sounds like the perfect setting for two people to fall in love.
I don't see how anyone could not! I'm gonna spruce these up a bit.
Why the sudden extra effort? Because if I do things right, I can get these deliveries to stop, and maybe that stupid clock will actually start working again.
- Yeah, I don't see the connection.
- It only matters that I do.
Right.
So, what time can you have it done? Five o'clock, detailed and waxed top to bottom.
It's all yours.
The shuttle will be back in a minute to take you back to work.
- (cell phone ringing) - Thanks.
Cassie.
[I got your message.
.]
Hey.
I was wondering if you were free for lunch? I was gonna to be driving out to pick up some things for the store That a friend brought back from the Sudan.
Maybe you could meet me at Merletto's on the way back? I wish I could, but I don't have my car.
It's being It's getting ready for tonight.
- Oh.
I would've loved to have seen you.
- Me, too.
I'll see you tonight.
- Yeah, I'll see you then.
- Okay, bye.
- Bye.
You're not gonna take any notes? Oh, uh, you take notes for things you don't remember.
I remember.
I just think that since we've been given another day to study for the test, we should use it.
Look, even if I thought that I needed to, which I don't, I don't have my textbook.
Where is it? - I don't know.
- I must have left it somewhere.
Excuse me, does anybody in here - drive a red SUV? - Mine.
- You're illegally parked.
- But I always park there.
- Then you've been doing it illegally.
- (sighing) So I guess you want me to move before you write me a ticket? I already gave you a ticket, ma'am.
You're new here, aren't you? - It's my first week.
- Well, you're doing a fine job.
You know, it's teenagers like that you should really look out for.
You never know what kind of trouble they might get into.
Seriously, you should really keep an eye on those two.
In case they end up somewhere they shouldn't be.
- Nice shot.
- You've gotten a lot better.
It's not that complicated.
You swing the mallet; you hit the ball.
And then I get farther ahead of you.
Well, I'll be way over there trying to catch up.
Ah.
Hello.
Hi.
It's nice to see each of you enjoying one more day in Middleton.
Yeah, we figured we might as well stick around and soak up some of the local flavor, since when are either of us going to be back in this town again? We ran into each other at Middleton Botanical Gardens and discovered we both shared an interest in gardening.
Who could have known the two of us had so much in common? So you ended up enjoying your days here, after all.
Yeah.
Grey House is really starting to feel like home.
"A radiant palace in the greenest of our valleys, by good angels tenanted.
" - That's Edgar Allan Poe.
- The Haunted Palace.
I've been doing a little reading.
So, who's winning? Annabel is, by a mile.
You've picked up that game so quickly.
I've had a couple of days with a pretty good teacher.
Well, I will let you get back to your lesson.
(classical music) - Sam, this place looks amazing! - Yeah, it does look pretty great.
But most of the credit for that goes to Stephanie, - by the way.
- Ah, it was all Sam's idea.
He's been planning it all week.
Is this what was taking up all your time when I was trying to get together? - I've been busy, I know.
- Well, we're together now.
Okay, sit.
Sit.
And I will go get your first course.
Everything is perfect.
That was the idea.
Oh.
Hello.
The invitation said this is a dinner for two.
- Invitation? - From who? I don't know.
It just said I was supposed to be here.
And me, too.
I found this in my room.
I thought you had placed it there.
Except I didn't.
- Then who did? - Jim.
Annabel.
You got my invitations.
Except you're both just a tad early.
Actually, they're not supposed to be here at all.
I set all this up for Cassie.
I just thought the two of them could enjoy a romantic evening together and then tomorrow finally be on their way.
Abigail, this is our romantic evening.
So what should we do about that? - (cell phones ringing) - Oh.
- Sorry.
- Excuse me.
- Nick? - Grace? - Where are you? - What's going on? - City Hall?! - Have you been arrested? - I'm on my way.
- Be right there.
Oh, what a shame you're missing your perfect evening.
Okay, dinner is What's going on? Sam and Cassie had to run.
But we wouldn't want to let that meal and such a romantic setting go to waste.
Table for two? Well Champagne? Yes, please.
So you came here to study? Not to study, but to get Grace's book so she could study.
Look, Abigail told me that Martha told her we could let ourselves in.
- Abigail told you? - Yes.
I did say that, yes.
I just never imagined you'd show up quite so late at night.
Because I thought we should study.
There's an excuse I never thought I'd hear.
But I kind of like it.
So this was just a big misunderstanding.
Officer Charles is new and he was just doing his job.
I didn't think anyone was supposed to be in here.
And you did the right thing, calling me and having them call their parents.
I'm so glad you're being reasonable about this.
I didn't want to get on your bad side during my first week.
You explained your reasoning; why would there be a problem? - I just wasn't sure you'd hear me out.
- Why on earth not? Because I saw you this week, talking to so many people, and it just didn't look like you wanted to hear what they had to say.
Martha was trying to convince people of a proposal about something she believes in very much.
Adjusting some speed limits.
- That sounds like a good idea.
- Hm! Do you even know why people are against it? That's funny.
Your mother asked me the same thing.
But it seems like so many days ago.
Well, maybe you can use another day to find out.
Did you do this? - No, I wish I would have.
- Welcome back.
- Did you enjoy your date? - It was actually a lot of fun.
Well, I wanted to make your return to Grey House as romantic as when the two of you finally leave in the morning.
- I've never seen so many flowers.
- Neither have I.
Try living my life for a week.
Aww And just think, if the two of you hadn't been up for the same job, you'd never even would have met.
That's true.
I guess we'll have to figure out what happens when one of us gets the job.
- It'll be okay.
- You'll figure something out.
- I'll figure something out? - I just meant There's no part of you that believes that I'm gonna get this job instead of you, is there? No, I mean, it's possible, it's just I'm the one with the unique perspective.
Which you'reconvinced is so much better than mine.
Whoa.
What we have here is a sea of flowers and a romantic evening that we don't want to see go to waste.
I'll tell you what was a waste: this entire day, and then coming home with you.
It's a good thing we never have to see each other again.
That's the best news I've heard all week.
Why did I even open a stupid flower shop? - Well, I'm sorry about all this.
- About what? This is not exactly the way I wanted our date to end.
You're not gonna get any complaints from me.
I got ice cream.
I just wanted everything to be perfect.
I'll say it again: ice cream.
But we didn't even have dinner, you hardly got to hear the string quartet, and you barely even got a look at all those flowers that I ordered especially for you.
I did notice that you got all my favorite kinds, and I appreciate all the trouble you went through.
And for what? End up sitting in the back of a car eating ice cream? Not much of a date.
- I don't know.
- It seems pretty perfect.
You're right.
It is perfect.
- You know what else is perfect? - What? The detailing job on this car.
Come on, it doesn't get any better than this.
I dripped ice cream on it.
What? Oh, now the date really is ruined.
You are magic, I'm all right (birds chirping) Good morning.
- There's tea for you.
- Thanks.
- Good morning, Annabel.
- Good morning.
So, I just got a text from the company.
They've decided who they're giving the job to and they're announcing it later today.
Huh! I'm gonna want to stick around to hear that.
Me, too.
That is, if you still have room.
- I still have room.
- For one more day.
Come on in.
I've been on hold with the flower delivery company for hours.
Stop sending me carnations! Just help yourself to whatever you want.
I'm looking for the most extravagant bouquet you have.
So you can convince someone of something else? As a reminder to myself of this week's follies.
It was brought to my attention that if I perhaps were to listen to people more instead of talking so much, I might actually get more of what I want.
I can't believe that it took me an entire week to realize such a basic lesson in communication.
I guess some of us are slow learners.
- (door bell jingling) - Mmhmm.
Here we go again.
Go ahead, bring them in, dump them wherever you want.
- Oh, no, no, no.
I could never just dump these.
These are beauty in a box, right here.
It's merchandise I need to get out the door.
- Are you kidding? - It's a lot more than that.
Do you ever get to see the expression on the faces of the people that get these flowers? Sometimes.
When I'm not stuck inside my store.
Then maybe you need to get out more.
He's right.
Your flowers and chocolates brightened up the face of every person I handed them to.
So it's a good thing you opened your store right where you did and right when you did it.
Yeah, I guess you're right.
Let me get your signature right here for all these carnations.
I'd be happy to.
Glad to see that finger didn't run out of ink.
Yeah.
So, I guess I'll see you same time tomorrow.
- You got it.
- You're on my schedule.
Um, well, you were on my schedule.
I guess they finally got things straightened out.
So tomorrow might finally be a brand new day.
Try not to miss us too much.
By the way, your clock is fast.
(sighing) - What are you studying? - Uh, math.
- I have a test next week.
- Aren't you already good at math? Yes, and I thought that I was good at history, but it turns out you actually have to keep studying history in order to stay good at history.
Did you finally take that test that kept getting postponed? We did.
I got a B.
- I thought B's were supposed to be good? - Not as good as A's.
Guess who got an A on his history test? The extra credit put me over the top.
Congratulations.
You deserve it, after all the work that you did.
How'd you do? Oh, I did okay But I'm going to do better next time.
If you want, I can help you study.
You know what? I could actually use the help.
Okay, but you're gonna have to explain it all to me first.
I stink at math.
(giggling) You look like a man - who just got a job offer.
- I did.
Just not the one I interviewed for.
They went with someone who they said is more right for this job, but then offered me something even better in Seattle, - where they're opening up a new branch.
- Seattle is a beautiful city.
I've kind of always wanted to live there.
Hm.
And I hear congratulations are in order.
- I guess so, yeah.
- I'm really happy for you.
- They made an excellent choice.
- Thanks.
- Except I turned them down.
- What? - Why? - I took the interview because I wanted to find out if there was something better out there for me.
And I realized I kind of like the job I already have.
And then I found a book in your library about Seattle and it just made me realize I didn't want to leave my friends back home.
You're from Seattle? - Annabel's whole family's from there.
- And now Jim is moving there as well.
- For a job, yeah.
- Maybe I can show you around.
I'd really like that.
I just want to thank you for these wonderful days at Grey House.
It got to the point where I didn't want them to end.
Well, I'm glad you had a pleasant stay.
And you're going to have to let me know where to get - that tea I've been loving.
- I wanted to ask that, too.
It's from the Skagit Valley.
That's not too far from Seattle.
Mm-hmm.
I hear it's a lovely place to spend a couple of days.
(whimsical music) - Hey.
- Hey.
How was your day? Well, I made it through without having to pick up my kid for breaking into City Hall.
- We are raising such delinquents.
- (laughing) I'm glad you came by.
Aside from last night, I feel like I haven't seen you all week.
That's kind of true.
I guess I got so busy trying to plan our perfect date, we could have just cancelled it and spent time together.
- With no plans at all.
- I'm just not that kind of guy.
I like to know how things are gonna end before I start them.
Where's the mystery in that? I like to think of it as being prepared.
You can't go into surgery without knowing exactly what you're gonna do.
Well, it's a good thing I don't need a surgeon.
(chuckling) I just wanted you to know how much I care about you.
Well, if that's what it takes, then you can keep on doing that.
But I'm letting you know that you don't have to.
What if I want to? I'll never turn down flowers and a string quartet.
(clock chiming) If you're lost, you can look, and you will find me When did that clock start working? Oh, it's been keeping good time for a couple of days.
If you fall, I will catch you So, you got any plans tonight? No.
You? Nope.
None.
If you fall, I will catch you I will be waiting Time after time
This town's very own flower shop owner.
