We want a camp that's all good.
But first, we want you to put a shirt on.
- I'm trying! - It's like a tornado in here! -So, will you make the camp better? -Better? This camp is perfect! There's air and dirt and bugs! What more could you want? -We want the camp we dreamed about.
-And that camp has Swimming, fishing Water skiing, volleyball, and boomerangs Paintball, baseball, sailing, horseshoes Diving off of overhangs Archery, and kayaking And barbecue, and dominos Laser tag, capture the flag Pie eating, and a talent show Never! And there's no changing my mind.
You gotta give us something, or we'll make sure you don't sleep for the rest of the summer.
Oh, how are you gonna-- Well, that's the end of-- No more of-- -Now ask yourself -How many do we have? Hey, we need to throw 'em a bone so we can sleep.
-Happy Krupp? -Ooh, how about a smile-a-thon? What? No! -Hungry Krupp! -The pie-eating thing? No! Weepy Krupp! A good cry? You have one idea always, -and it's awful! -Psst! Hey, what about arts and crafts? I hate arts and crafts! Sure, but you can have the kids do it, sell whatever they make and use the money to buy a Leisuremyland.
I love arts and crafts! Not bad, Sneaky Krupp.
Hey, where'd he go? And where's my wallet? I've changed my mind.
You can have arts and crafts.
Really? Just like that? Yep.
Take it or leave it.
-Well, it wasn't in our song.
-But it's better than sinkhole tennis.
- We'll take it.
- Ugh! Hello, sweatshop labor-- I mean, campers! -What's that? A bear? -Uh No, it's Altitooth, a monster from a previous episode.
Let's go with "bear.
" Give me 20 of those.
Ooh, a fancy fishing net! It's a dream catcher.
Dre-ee-am catcher! If you say so.
Give me 30 of those babies.
Guys, these arts and crafts are just swell.
Top notch! When you're done, bring the merchandise-- er, um, ahem-- projects up front, and I'll box them up.
For safekeeping.
Agh! Shirt! Come back here! Awesome treehouse! Arts and crafts are cool, but not as cool as any of the camp stuff from our dreams.
Oh, no! Melvin! You're being attacked by a robo-land squid! We'll save you even though we don't like you! No, you slow leaks! This is the SwapHappy2000.
It swaps bugs away.
That's a combination of "swat" and "zap.
" Swap! Copyright, Sneedworks.
-Why don't you just use bug spray? -Because I'm not a caveman.
Oh, my glue gun is finally hot.
Now I can make arts and crafts worthwhile with my papier-mâché particle accelerator.
Oh, no, a bug landed on the Agh! Hot glue! - Ugh! Algae.
- Whoa! A Melvin sea monster? That's my worst nightmare.
Mine, too.
You thinking what I'm thinking? That we should sleep with our eyes open from now on? Yes, and arts and craft comic.
Chapter 2 By George Beard and Harold Hutchins.
So, there was a volcano stunt show called "Magma-nificent," where acrobats and stuff did stunts over a live volcano! Koo-hot! It was, like, really cool and totally dangerous! And Captain Underpants was the star because he was invulnerable, bad at stunts, and always falling into the lava, kersploosh-hiss-ow-aloe vera, which was a big crowd pleaser.
"Oh, no!" "Yay!" Unfortunately, he fell in one too many times and woke up Melviathan, a giant, annoying, multi-armed serpent who lived in the volcano, a-duh! And Melviathan was all, "Stunt show? What? I live here!" And Captain Underpants was like, "There aren't a lot of volcanoes, man.
" And that was the last straw.
Melviathan unleashed the octo-punch, which is eight punches at once.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight! And Captain Underpants woke up in a secret lab because the President of Earth saved him, and he was all, "Save that-- Him!" So, they put Captain Underpants through the enhance-a-soldier program while he was asleep.
When he woke up in a cloud of fog and smoke and stuff he was, dot-dot-dot, Captain Ultrapants! He had lasers, axes, robot snake arms, surround sound, and a taco bar.
So, everything.
Thank you, taxpayers! Captain Underpants flew back to the volcano with his new foot booster rockets, which he didn't really need 'cause he could already fly, but they looked cool.
And everybody was all, "Where have you been? It's been three months!" And Captain Underpan-- oh-- and Captain Ultrapants was like, "I don't wear a watch.
What is time anyway?" "Big question.
" And he unleashed every weapon he had at the same time-- froosh-wasackbapbapbap-taco-bar noises-- and knocked out Melviathan! He regained conscious-ness-ness-ness, and was all, "I'm out! And by that, I mean I'm moving.
" And then they turned Magmanificent into a Broadway show and it lost a lot of its charm.
Okay, the end.
Look at all these orders! Those arts and crafts are selling like hotcakes.
The Leisuremyland is as good as all mine! I hear the steak here is excellent.
Delicious! Hey, why aren't you arts and crafting? We're over arts and crafts.
Sweat and glitter? Bad combination.
Yeah, so we're ready for the next camp activity.
Like bobsledding? Please be bobsledding, please be bobsledding.
-Uh--! -No.
I need a spa-aa.
-Bobsledding! -Air conditioning? -Bobsledding! -Agh! We're sinking! Every Krupp for himself! Get a grip, Sailor Krupp! Make them an offer theys can't refuse.
And make me's a chicken Parm sangwich, extra mozz, to go.
Yeah, Wise Guy Krupp! And who stole my watch? Psst! Wanna buy a watch? So, you're over this, huh? Yeah.
We don't wanna make arts and crafts anymore.
Humph.
Now youse gotta do arts and crafts.
First camp to make 1,000 arts and/or crafts gets to leave this room.
-What about the other camp? -The other camp gets to make 2,000! And I'm not pitting you against each other to benefit myself.
Nope, not doing that.
Agh! Shirt! Camp Lake Summer Camp versus Lake Summer Camp Camp.
Start crafting! Keep up the good work! Whatever those are, they're great! Ah, Sophie One, your "feathar" boas are perfect.
Other Sophie, find a bird and get us more phfft-- phfft-- phfft-- feath-aa-rs.
You're stringing beads like a champ, Gooch! How are things in the pine cone department, buddy? The Pine-Conepanions are almost done.
This is the last racc-cone.
We've got this in the wicker bag.
You're a machine, Dressy! A frivolous machine that makes junk, but still a machine! I love making dream catchers.
Dream-ca-ca-ca-ca-catchers! Melvin's camp is killing us bead by bead.
We'll never get outta here.
Unless we slow Dressy down.
He said, with a gleam in his eye.
Like this, like this, like this.
Like this-sa-sa-sa-sa! Not getting it.
Can you show us again? Yeah.
And go even slower? And can you explain what dream catchers do again? -Also slowly.
-Sure.
Dream catch ers Not that slow.
are supposed to let good dreams in and keep bad dreams out.
Out! It's too bad this isn't a dream hatcher.
It could hatch our dream summer camp.
Yeah, and we'd never leave or let anything spoil it.
Sorry, guys, dream technology isn't there yet.
Ye-ye-ye-ye-ye-yet! Well, a boy can dream.
Anyway, can you go over these one more time? With more unnecessary words? Stop undermining my ringer, you extra toes.
It's not going to work.
We're getting out of this memento mill and leaving you in our DIY dust! Now unhand that dream catcher.
-Make us! -Fine.
Prepare for maximum swap! Oh, no! Too much swap.
You lunatic! You've swapped us all! I always thought my life would end in a vortex! That was number two on my list behind "game show"! What just happened? Where are we? What have we done? You opened a vortex to the dream dimension, and it pulled us in! Pulled! And that explains what's going on kinda.
It's not real.
Wake up.
Wake up! "Welcome to the dream dimension, where dreams are reality"? -Pinches? -You know that guy? Yeah.
It's Pinches the Purple Penguin.
He was my imaginary friend a while back.
You got change for a ten? -All I got is a 20.
-Deal! Same old Pinches.
Whoa, it's my dream hovercraft! Everything here is stuff from both of your dreams because you were both holding the dream catcher that got swapped.
Swa-ha-pped! -So, it's all good dream stuff? -So far, but nothing's a lock here.
Some things happen for a reason.
Others just happen.
Dreams have a lot of wiggle room.
Wi-hi-hi-ggle room! -How do you know all this? -I took a dream class.
- You now know dreams.
- Certificate! So then, like, why are we still at camp and not someplace better, like a spa-aa-aa? 'Cause Harold and I have dreamed of going to camp since forever.
Well, which one of you dreamed this? -Both of us! -Cool! Hey, I'm in stereo! So are we! So, this place is literally our dreams come true? Yes.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes No! No! Buckle up, baby, 'cause the summer camp of our dreams just got real.
Ha! -In our dreams! -And nothing's gonna stop us! He said with authority.
"Cow toots are real windy.
" Just like I dreamt it.
Swimming, fishing Water skiing, volleyball, and boomerangs Paintball, baseball, sailing, horseshoes Diving off of overhangs - Whew! - You okay? Gimme a sec.
Whew.
Okay.
Archery, and kayaking And barbecue, and dominos Laser tag, capture the flag Pie eating, and a talent show -Ah! This is the life! -Yeah, I could stay here forever.
Me, too! Our "har" is amazing here.
Wait, where's Other Sophie? Meanwhile, in the real world, Other Sophie was still looking for the feathers that Jessica sent her to find.
And back in Dream Camp I love sky-surfing! Sky-surfing! "Moosel Beach"? You gotta be a member to work out here or just a moose? Oh, yeah, eh! Moosel Beach was a weird dream.
Everybody loves Dream Camp, buddy.
I don't love it! I hate it! When are we leaving? And why is that giant mosquito shadowing me? This is George and Harold's dream dimension, so they have to dream us out of here.
Then do it, you unbaked cakes! Yeah no.
But we want you to have fun, so maybe this will help.
Eh! You think a hat will help? Wrong! How about this one? No! No! No more hats! No hats! We should go after him.
If he's not happy here, he could ruin this.
How? They're our dreams.
It's not like he can turn them against us.
He said, recklessly.
Agh! Even the rocks here are annoying.
-I must get out of here.
-Hey! You wanna get outta here? -Yes.
I just said that.
-I can get you out.
-But first, you got change for a ten? -I only have a 20.
-Deal! -Hey! What about getting out of here? Ah, it's easy.
Make George and Harold wanna leave.
What, that's it? I paid 20 bucks for that? This place is my worst nightmare! "Worst nightmare" - He said, to advance the plot.
- Eh? Agh! Stop seasoning me! Ha! Eighty thousand in advance orders for arts and crafts.
Exactly the amount I need to buy my Leisuremyland! And maybe some new buttons! Where is everyone? Where are the arts and crafts? Oh, no.
No! No! No! I'm ruined! No! No! No! We're too close to give up now! Pull it together, Krupp! You've gotta do this yourself! Agh! Hot glue! Melvin, welcome back! You up for some shark jousting? Grab a fin and join us, and don't ruin everything.
Or if you're not up for normal fun, how about some Melvin fun? Like these beakers from my dream about Dr.
Eyebulge, the mad scientist.
Yes, this place is full of your dreams, but where are all your nightmares? I wonder Good question.
Guess we haven't been thinking about them.
Perhaps you should.
-Okay.
-Wait a second! Harold, he's trying to make us bring our nightmares to life! Clear your mind! Done! My mind is a complete blank.
Yes! Don't think about your nightmares, think about your worst nightmare! Melviathan! No! Look away! Whoops.
That is a nightmare.
I bet he'll destroy us all, starting with you.
Harold, dream that thing away! Oh, no good! It's still here! Because no one can control their nightmares.
But you can dream us out of this absurd dream dimension.
Melvin's right.
It's time to let go of our dreams! No! We're not done living the dream! Hop on the invisible horse! Giddy up, Can't See Biscuit! Eh? Pshaw! Invisible horse? I hate this place.
And stop buttering me! Faster, invisible flying cobra! Lower, invisible amphibious plasmarine! Uh! Higher, invisible robokangarooster! I can still pull this off if I can just chew myself free.
Man, am I glad I dreamed of a tree house no one could see.
Melviathan won't find us in here.
Wait, why are we running? This is our dream world.
If we dreamt that thing up, we can also dream up -Captain Underpants! -Or even better.
-We can make -Captain Ultrapants, from our comic! He said, breathlessly.
We can make him faster, stronger, tougher -With flame eyes! -And a laser battle axe! -And a robot snake arm! -And a smoothie machine! Yes! We better start a list.
I can't believe we added everything on the list.
Oh, he's magma-nificent! Tra-la-la! Raise your ultra visor! Tra-la-leg day! 'Cause this stuff's heavy.
Whoa! And confusing! We might've gone too far.
You can't go too far in your dreams, Harold.
Captain Ultrapants, we need you to defeat Melviathan.
-He's messing up our dream camp! -Sure! And here's a couple of pineapporkanapocolypse smoothies.
Oops! You guys got insurance? Stop benching us! Ugh! I wish Other Sophie was here to be chum.
Back in the real world I wanna get out! I've gotta get out of this And back in dream camp This is your dream camp? I thought it would have more donut shops.
Melviathan's really crushing your dreams.
You sure you don't wanna leave before he destroys us all? And what's this? A needlessly complicated coffee dispenser? No! He's our ultimate weapon.
Hi! I'm Captain Ultra-- whoa! Whoa! I hope I have another one of those.
He also makes smoothies.
Oh, then I'm sure everything will be fine.
Whoa! Ugh! I'm gonna freeze-blast you, Melviathan just as soon as I figure out which button does that.
Chapter 5-- The Incredibly Graphic Violence Chapter, presented in Pleth-O-Rama, 'cause "plethora" means too much, and sometimes too much of a good thing is a bad thing.
This laser battle axe is too heavy! Have a snake with a side of fist! Ultra bread attack! Ugh! Ow! Whoa! Ooh! Whoa! I'll beat that guy as soon as this booster rocket runs out of juice! I was wrong.
You can go too far in your dreams.
Captain Ultrapants is like putting pie on a cake, on a cookie, on a brownie, on a donut, on candy.
Go on.
Yeah, we should just keep it real.
This dream is canceled! Too real! Thanks for the cape, Mr.
Crocobat! Whew! That's so much better.
All that stuff was really weighing me down, like a hippo-hat-imus.
Ugh! Okay, Captain Underpants, do your thing! You had me at "thing.
" I'm gonna camp that guy into the ground.
You went back to the base model? Were you not losing hard enough? He doesn't even have 20/20 vision.
Yagh! Who was that? All I saw was a blur! And when did I get butt rockets? -Not a complaint, just a question.
-Can we talk about this after? Right! I'm on the clock, which is what I'm gonna clean! Camp attack! Swimming, fishing Water skiing, volleyball, and boomerangs Paintball, baseball, sailing, horseshoes Diving off of overhangs You okay? -So thirsty.
-Have some smoothie.
Mmm! Pork! Archery And kayaking, and barbecue, and dominos Laser tag, capture the flag Pie eating and a talent show Something, something moccasins And everything must go today We're going out of business And these sandwiches Won't eat themselves! Hey, dude! He's out.
You can stop.
Oh! That was fun! But I think this pork has turned.
Yep! We did it! We won! -That's why we have to go home.
-Wha? We'll always win here 'cause this is our dream world, so the wins don't matter.
The problem with this place is it's all good.
And good without bad isn't good.
Yeah.
Without rain, you wouldn't appreciate sunshine or dry socks.
And, like, how Sophie One is better because of Other Sophie.
Back in the real world -And sometimes bad even makes good.
-Right.
Without school, we wouldn't have Captain Underpants.
Exactly.
And that's a Fact Smack.
Fact Smack! Sorry your dream camp was destroyed.
But, hey, I just won a Thumbs-Uppy, and I've never been on a TV show! Except this one.
He said, breaking the fourth wall.
So you're saying our real dream camp is Oh! This place smells like a bathroom for feet.
Camp, sweet camp.
Sinkhole tennis, anyone? Hello? Where is everybody? They ditched you! You got change for a ten? Trust me, the throwing up is worth it.
Get me out of outta here!
