Scream (2015) s03e06 Episode Script
Endgame
1 - BOY: I got you, bruh! - I had a brother named Marcus, and we went out on Halloween when we was kids.
DEION: I left my twin brother to die.
MARCUS: Help me! And now somebody's wearing his costume.
Same dude that getting my friends, but he really want me.
Don't put so much pressure on yourself, baby.
You can tell that to San Diego State.
They got one more scholarship, and they gonna give it to somebody in their right mind.
We just left the world of horror and now we buddy cops.
[GROANS.]
You think I'm the killer? We know who's behind that mask.
My brother Jay's the killer and he's coming for us.
[GRUNTS.]
[HIP-HOP MUSIC PLAYING.]
[CELL PHONE BUZZING.]
- What do you want? - GHOSTFACE: You already know.
The same thing I've always wanted.
Look, man, screw you, Jay.
All right? I don't owe you nothing.
Ironic, isn't it, that you're so sure you figured out who I am when all I've ever asked of you is to do the same, to own up to who you really are on the inside? Look, I'm a coward, all right? I've been a coward since the night I let my brother die, and I'm a coward today.
No, you're gonna have to go deeper than that, or I will.
If you're really my brother, just please stop doing this.
It's too late for that! If you treated me like blood, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
But we are, and you can't change the past.
- Bitch, you think I don't know that? - Then focus on the present.
You have a big game to play.
The only question is, will you be playing football tomorrow night or my game? Because I promise you you can only win one.
[CROWD CHANTING.]
Deion, Deion, Deion! - Deion.
- Hmm? I'm certain them screaming your name like that means they wanna hear from you.
Come on.
I I don't know what to say.
You best figure it out, because Coach Fisher flew in from San Diego to hear whatever it is.
I thought you said he wasn't coming.
Also said my word goes a long way with him.
Now get in there.
[CHANTING CONTINUES.]
- Uh, hey - [MIC FEEDBACK RINGS.]
Look, I-I really appreciate you guys, I really do, but I don't deserve this.
I'm not who you guys think I am.
I guess that's just a fancy way of me saying I've been living a lie.
And I can't do it anymore.
I want everyone to know I'm I think you've said enough.
Uh, this concludes today's homecoming pep rally.
The principal wanted me to remind you all that due to recent security concerns, tomorrow's Silverscreen Dreams Homecoming Dance - Come on.
- will be for current students only.
Deion, you maybe wanna tell us what that was all about? Look, I'm tired of playing Jay's games alright? You don't have to worry about Jay no more.
Cops on the case.
Wait, what are you talking about? Me and Kym went to the police last night and told them everything.
Since Ghostface attacked one of their own, they were finally willing to listen.
They're looking for Jay right now.
Fancy way of saying "Screw him.
" Focus on you and what you want, like winning yourself that scholarship tonight.
[CELL PHONE CHIMES, CLICKS.]
I gotta go.
Long as I've known that boy his dream has been to play college ball.
It'd be a shame to see him throw it all away when it's so close.
That's the problem with dreams, they're fleeting.
Used to be you'd ask me what my dream was, I'd say is to help people.
But with everything we're going through, the only thing I want is to live.
Let's face it, Kym, me and you, we're not final girls.
The hell is a final girl? The girl in all those slasher movies you've been watching for research that makes it to the end, survives, saves her friends.
You save anybody lately? Yeah, me either.
Then we'll save ourselves.
We'll stick together and watch each other's backs tonight.
We're going to Deion's game.
Stadium full of people, cops all up in it.
Jay'd be a fool to show his face.
It's not his face that I'm scared of.
It's that mask.
WOMAN OVER PA: Dr.
Flores, please dial 118.
Didn't expect to see your face again so soon.
Looks like I'm out of the woods.
Then I should probably go.
- Sorry for everything.
- Liv, wait.
This wasn't your fault.
You don't know what I'm apologizing for, Dad.
The truth is you don't know who I really am.
Then will you please tell me? I've been lying to you for a while now.
Pretending that everything is okay with me, that I'm the perfect daughter.
Cheerleader, straight-A student.
But the truth is I'm really messed up inside.
It's almost like I'm wearing a mask.
Then take off the mask, Liv.
I promise you, I'll love whoever's underneath.
[POLICE SIREN WAILING.]
Pop, you okay? I'm sorry, but I don't know how to tell you this, Deion.
I heard what happened.
You ain't gotta apologize for nothing.
Jay was raised under my roof.
And if what the police are saying is true, he's killing kids at your school.
And that's on him.
That's not on you.
I don't know how I could raise a son and not know what's inside him.
I know, I know, I know.
I can't believe this happened, and on your big day.
I ain't playing in the game today, Pop.
What? Why not? It's just a game, Pop.
It just seem like all the sacrifices we made to get here just ain't worth it.
Hey, you earned that, Deion.
I don't want you to make a decision you might regret one day.
Lord knows I'm an expert on that subject.
But I raised you to be your own man.
It's your decision.
I trust that you'll make better ones than I have.
[DOOR OPENS, CLOSES.]
I've been to enough funerals lately.
I'll be damned if I'm about to go to another one.
Yeah, you and me both.
But this here is a funeral, D-Day, because we about to bury Gregson! ALL: Yeah! [DOOR CREAKING.]
Quit playing games and get over here.
I wanna see your face.
Your real face.
I deserve that much, don't I? Why are you doing this to me? Say something.
[HIP-HOP MUSIC PLAYING.]
[ALL CHANTING.]
Reapers! Reapers! Reapers! Reapers! What do you think? Well, I think that uniform looks much better on you - than it does me.
- [CHUCKLES.]
- But where's yours? - Well, I have a confession to make.
I've always hated cheerleading.
I couldn't lie about it anymore.
I know the feeling.
I didn't know if I was gonna play today, but I didn't wanna let everybody down you know Jay's taken enough from us already.
Don't let him take this, too.
No, you're right.
- Time to get to work.
- Hey, wait.
There's one more thing.
Now go out there and show everyone who you really are.
[CROWD CHEERING.]
What's up with this line? It's like the new Yeezys dropping.
We're the ones who put the cops on high alert, remember? - [POLICE RADIO CHATTER.]
- [WAND SQUEALING.]
While we wait, something you said earlier has been bothering me.
Why don't you think either of us has what it takes to be the last woman standing? It's final girl.
To you, but personally, I find that label sexist and regressive.
Whatever you wanna call her, in horror, she's she's everything.
The final girl is the moral compass of the film.
And no matter how progressive horror gets, which the final girl stereotype is almost as hard to kill off as the actual killer.
And I totally respect that about her.
It's because the killer didn't take her seriously.
- He underestimates her.
- Every time.
[CELL PHONE BUZZES.]
You okay? You're pale, even for you.
- Look.
- [CELL PHONE CLICKS.]
Play it.
DEION: All right boys.
They're gonna expect for us to run the ball down they throats.
That's why we're gonna dive right flea flicker on one.
- Means you go right this time, Hawkins.
- Man, don't worry.
-I got you.
[BOTH CHUCKLE.]
DEION: Come on, then.
Here we go.
Black 40, hut! [GRUNTS.]
[CROWD CHEERING.]
[CHEERING.]
[ALL CHANTING.]
Deion, Deion, Deion, Deion! JAY: This message is for Deion.
If you wanna save me, I'm at Earl's house, but you gotta come alone.
BETH: Holy crap.
Jay's not the killer.
Or he is and he's trying to lure Deion into a trap.
Well, if I had a brother or feelings, I'd wanna see that message, wouldn't you? - Give me your keys.
- Okay.
Why? We need a distraction so you can get to that stadium and get that message to Liv and Deion.
I'm gonna have to make a fast getaway after the crap I'm about to pull.
Ugh.
God, this is what having friends is like, isn't it? Hey, sorry to bother you, but you wouldn't mind me borrowing your phone to make a quick call? No offense, but I don't even know you.
None taken.
Hey! That girl just stole my phone! Fourteen, this is Three.
- [CROWD CHANTING.]
Reapers! - DEION: Listen up man.
We gotta score before halftime and send these boys back to the burbs.
Wing left option on the silent count.
- Hawkins? - Going right, D-Day.
Hell, yeah, it is.
As long as you go left.
- Right.
- MAN: Come on.
[ROCK MUSIC PLAYING.]
[CHEERING.]
[CHEERING.]
- LIV: Deion! - MAN: Reapers, baby.
Deion! Hey.
What's wrong? JAY: This message is for Deion.
If you wanna save me, I'm at Earl's house, but you gotta come alone.
Earl's house isn't that your apartment? No, it's not, but Look, I can't say what it is right now.
- I just gotta go.
- Wait, Deion.
Let me come with you.
No, you can't.
Some stuff you just don't understand okay? Like what? Ghostface's victims, they're not dying because of what I did on Halloween night.
They're dying because of what I did after that.
Because of my secret.
What do you mean? What secret? Liv, you have no idea who I really am.
Of course I do.
No, you don't, all right? Trust me.
Well, fine.
If you're not Deion Elliot, who the hell are you? Think, okay? You know my story.
I let you closer than anybody else.
So you tell me.
Who's the only other person I could be? Marcus.
This whole time, you haven't been who you told me you were I've been falling for someone I don't even know.
Liv, I'm sorry.
I wanna know how Deion died.
I want to know how you became him.
YOUNG DEION: Take off your mask.
And the rest.
Why am I doing this? Because you don't have to be scared anymore.
All you need is some armor.
My mom was so upset, she didn't realize that we switched costumes.
First thing she did was she hugged me and called me Deion.
I just went with it.
I thought for sure I'd get busted.
Somebody will figure it out, but no one ever did.
So I just kept living Deion's life.
Taking advantage of his opportunities and Because the truth is when I was Marcus, I was a troubled kid.
But when I became Deion, people they treated me different.
They assumed the best instead of the worst.
All right? Don't you see, Liv? I failed Deion, but I can still save Jay.
This is my opportunity.
- And I gotta to take it.
- You could die taking it.
- You ever think about that? - Every day since this mess started.
But like you said, I can't keep doing this.
Whole reason why I wanted this scholarship thing so bad was so I could get a fresh start.
But I'd rather die being me than keep pretending to be somebody I'm not.
I'm I'm sorry that I lied to you, Liv.
My mistake was just as big as all the others.
[SIGHS.]
[CAR ENGINE STARTS.]
Deion! Deion, wait! [TIRES SCREECHING.]
Damn.
[CAR ALARM CHIRPING.]
Double damn.
[GROANS.]
Hello? Oh! Jump scare? Really? - Where's Deion? - He just went after Jay.
- And you let him go alone? - I needed to find you.
Me? What for? - You got another message.
- And let me guess.
A snoop like you already knows what it says.
Ghostface wants us to go to the high school.
- Cool.
No way in hell I'm doing that.
- Or Deion dies.
Jay? Hey, man.
- Jay.
Jay, wake up, man, please.
- [GASPS.]
- [EXHALES.]
- Deion? I'm here.
Take it easy.
You're gonna be okay.
I can't believe you came for me.
Of course I did.
There's something I need say to you before I Look, you're not dying, all right? I'm gonna get you out of here.
[GRUNTS.]
- God.
- [BANGING DOOR.]
Any luck with Kym? Her phone's off and I think she just stole my car.
Maybe she's already here.
What? You think Kym's Ghostface? That's crazy, Liv.
Is it? Kym's known Deion the longest, right? Knew his history, knew Marcus.
If Ghostface has a problem with hypocrites, Kym's the most sanctimonious of us all.
I did see her and Manny get into a huge fight, but I never thought anything of it 'cause they were always bickering anyway.
Maybe the killer didn't want you to think about it.
Whoever this is has evaded detection at every turn.
Kind of like Kym has somehow avoided any ounce of suspicion.
Huh.
I never would have pegged Kym for the Norman Bates type.
You never know who someone really is on the inside.
I also don't know why Ghostface brought us here if we can't get in.
Classic origin story.
It ends where it all began.
Kind of cliché, but this place is totally our Crystal Lake.
That's it.
We all met in detention, in the Library.
- [DEION GRUNTING.]
-JAY: Deion, stop.
Put me down.
I need you to hear what I got to say while I can still say it.
I got you.
Just just hold on.
Yeah.
You got me like you had Deion that Halloween, right? How do you know about that? You ain't the only one that's been keeping a secret.
I know that you're Marcus on the inside.
And you're Ghostface.
- No sign of the killer.
- Yet.
I doubt that window was left open by accident.
No offense, but I don't think patriotism is gonna stop Ghostface.
[GRUNTS.]
How generous.
- Now what? - We find the killer.
If you're the killer, then I must be a damn idiot.
I came here to save your ass.
Way too late for that, baby boy.
But there's still time to own up to who you really are.
I did.
I admitted to it.
I told Liv I was living a lie.
I want everyone to know the truth.
[COUGHS.]
To see you suffer like Deion did.
Keep my brother name out your mouth.
You didn't even know him.
That's where you're you wrong.
That's impossible.
He died before Pops even introduced you to our family.
Remember that summer Earl took Deion out to football camp in Kentucky? It wasn't just for that.
He wanted us to know that we were brothers.
[COUGHS.]
That we were blood.
He didn't even tell me about you.
Figured he must have kept that our secret.
Because once I moved to Atlanta with you, you treated me like a total stranger.
That's why you're killing people? 'Cause I didn't treat you like a brother? You didn't even treat Deion like a brother.
You abandoned him, stole his whole life.
After all he ever did was look out for your punk ass.
You're the reason why it all went bad.
What happened that Halloween is why Earl chose your family over mine.
Why you think my mom locked herself in the garage with the engine running? - I I didn't know.
- Of course you didn't.
'Cause all you ever gave a damn about was keeping up with your stupid lie.
Why not just expose me, then, huh? Or better yet, just kill me straight up.
Killing is quick.
You took everything from me.
[COUGHS.]
And I wanted to take everything from you.
Only thing is I didn't know how until the right opportunity came along.
What opportunity? I'll get to that.
But let's start with Tommy Jenkins.
[GAGGING.]
[CAR HORN HONKING.]
JAY: Taking a man's life is a hell of a thing.
[COUGHS.]
I had to prove that I can go through with it.
But once I passed that test, it wasn't nearly as hard to keep going.
Your boy, Avery Collins, that was to show y'all I meant business.
[AVERY SCREAMS.]
- JAY: Hookman was payback.
- [GASPS.]
JAY: Your little shorty's dad? He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
[CAR ENGINE STARTS.]
Don't stop there.
This your big moment, ain't it? No.
- [JAY COUGHS.]
-You don't get to die until you tell me everything, about Shane, Manny, Amir.
Say something, man! I didn't kill them fools.
- Well, they dead.
So who did? - [COUGHS.]
You ain't the only one that's been wearing a mask and neither was I.
You've been working with somebody.
Up until last night when they stabbed me in the back.
Actually, the front.
Either way, y'all screwed, because they ain't gonna stop until all of y'all are dead.
- Who is it? Who is it, Jay? - [COUGHS.]
You think I'mma tell you that? [COUGHS.]
The whole point of this was to destroy you.
And trust me, she will.
- She? Who is she? - [COUGHS.]
- Who is she? - [COUGHS, GASPS.]
Come on, Jay, I'm begging you, man.
At least we figured something out.
I guess this is who we really are, huh? [JAY GRUNTING.]
LIV: You're the horror encyclopedia.
How's the killer gonna finish us off? BETH: Hard to say.
Tommy Jenkins and that kid from Kym's block got their throats cut, Avery cratered, Shane OD'd, and Manny got turned into a human tostada.
You're forgetting about Amir.
I'll never forget Amir.
Sorry, Beth.
I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this.
I just don't understand how me telling you that the one person who ever liked me for who I am got run through with a bone saw is gonna help.
Well, it does.
Thanks, Beth.
[CELL PHONE BUZZES, CLICKS.]
What's that about? - [KEYPAD CLICKING.]
- It's just my dad.
Keeping tabs on me, even from his hospital bed.
TTYL, Dad.
About to get attacked by a serial killer.
[GRUNTS.]
Something like that.
[PANTING.]
Liv.
What happened? Is that blood? Don't worry.
It's not mine.
Then whose is it? Mine.
Your psycho girlfriend brained me while my back was turned.
Because she's the other Ghostface.
Please, Deion, you have to believe me.
I want to.
That's the problem.
So let's just talk about this, all right? Beth knew Amir was stabbed with a bone saw.
How else could she have known that if she wasn't there, if she wasn't the one who did it? I was there, you bitch.
Amir died in my house.
And after Deion got hauled off by the cops because of you, I had to sit there all night listening to every grisly detail about how the one person who cared about me got murdered, details you shouldn't know.
I read the police report, okay? It's a perfectly logical explanation.
BETH: Yeah, well, so is mine.
Guess that puts the ball in your court, sport.
How about we just call the cops, all right? Let them get to the bottom of this.
- [GUNSHOT.]
- [DEION GRUNTS.]
I can't let you do that, Deion.
[DEION GRUNTS, GASPING.]
Or should I say Marcus? Why are you doing this? What do you want from us? You mean besides exposing you all as total hypocrites? You're right.
This isn't about you, D'Marcus.
It's about her.
It's like I said from day one.
You are the final girl.
- Stay away from us.
- Um, this is a gun, you idiot.
Jay's gun, to be specific.
Lucky I got to it before the cops did.
Drop that thing before I put another bullet in his head.
Liv, run.
Solid advice from your soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend.
A horror flick should never end without an epic chase.
Screw you.
I'm not leaving him.
DEION: Hey.
Just go.
Please.
No.
[SOBBING.]
No.
[SOBS.]
[LIV GASPS.]
- That's the spirit.
- [DOOR OPENS, CLOSES.]
[ALARM RINGING.]
[GRUNTS.]
BETH: God.
You have no idea how hard it is to see in this damn thing.
[GRUNTS.]
[CHUCKLES.]
Oh, this is gonna be fun.
[LIV SCREAMS.]
[LIV SCREAMING.]
[LIV SCREAMING.]
[GROANS.]
[SCREAMING.]
[DOOR CRACKING.]
[GROANS.]
Why are you doing this? Because I was born bad.
Unlike you and your little Deadfast besties, I don't lie to myself about it.
Then why have you been wearing a mask? The difference is when I take mine off, nothing changes.
I always knew I was a sociopath.
I mean, why do you think I love horror movies so much? I watched every single one I could get my hands on until I realized it just wasn't quite enough.
Why should Michael Myers get to have all the fun when I could be a better monster? Because I'm not just some actor behind a mask.
This is who I really am on the inside.
Oh, God.
Come on.
That was a killer monologue.
Literally.
[DOOR SLAMS.]
[GRUNTS.]
No wonder Jason never runs after all those stupid counselors.
This is freaking exhausting.
You can stop this.
Jay's dead.
Not when I'm so close to finishing what I started.
This was your idea? Like I said, always knew I was a sociopath.
I was a wannabe killer in search of an origin story until one night, it walked right through my door.
The moment Jay sat in my chair, I could just tell we were kindred spirits.
He asked me to do his demons justice.
And so, every time he'd come in, my needle would go deeper and so would his darkness.
Till one night, he tells me about Deion and about how much he hated Deion for abandoning the real one and stealing his identity.
About the lie Deion had been living ever since.
Jay wanted revenge, and I realized this was fate.
[CHUCKLES.]
I mean, it was perfect.
Even the mask was perfect.
All I had to do was give Jay the tiniest little push.
Manipulate him into committing murder, and it was on.
Getting detention with you guys, that was just the icing on the cake because I got to exorcise my demons, too.
And then when I had to cover my ass around you Deadfast losers, Jay would wear the costume.
But besides that, I got to be what I was born to be.
[SHANE GAGGING.]
[MANNY COUGHING.]
Help! [SOBBING.]
MANNY: Help, help! Help! BETH: And that moment with Amir? God, it was everything.
- He trusted you.
- He broke the rules.
And I knew that if I killed him, I could kill anybody.
I mean, I might have even cared about him.
That's why I let him see me for who I'm truly was.
A cold-blooded murderer? Hey, I warned Amir to stay away from me.
Some people just don't wanna be helped.
Were you helping Jay, too? Killing Jay was always part of the plan.
But, you know, Kym just forced my hand by going to the cops, and I knew that if they got to him before I did, I'd be screwed, so [CLICKS TONGUE.]
I had to put him down.
[GROANING, COUGHING.]
BETH: I mean, what? I had to pin all these murders on somebody, right? They'll never believe you.
Um, right.
Who do you think the cops are gonna believe? A tatted-up thug like Jay or a pretty little white girl like me? - I'll tell them the truth.
- You'll be dead.
You're forgetting about Kym.
Trust me, I'm not.
I actually think she's kind of cool, but - at the end of the day, she's all talk.
- [CAR BEEPS.]
[CELL PHONE BUZZING.]
BETH: Did you know that I called her and I gave her a chance to get out? And she abandoned you guys without thinking twice.
Kym might be the biggest hypocrite of them all.
But screw everybody else.
This is about me and you.
Wait, wait! If I'm your final girl, that means I survive, right? See, I used to think that.
But then I realized horror isn't about the victims.
I mean, why do you think the franchises last so long? The body drops change, but the killer always comes back for more.
The killer's the real hero of the story.
- Beth, please.
[SOBS.]
- What? Forget your line? Don't worry, this is the part where you scream.
[LIV SCREAMS.]
[BETH GRUNTS.]
Shut up, Beth.
Hey, it's not fair.
He said shut up! LIV: Guess she got what she deserved.
Nobody deserved none of this.
- All right? It's my fault.
- Don't.
Don't you dare try to take responsibility for what she did.
Either way, I still gotta tell people the truth.
So Beth and Jay can win? Sorry, but they've taken enough from us already.
I can't let you do that.
And I can't keep pretending to be somebody I'm not.
That's what high school is.
None of us have any idea who we really are.
That's something we get to figure out later if we make it through in one piece.
Deion, Marcus.
You found out who you really are tonight when you risked everything to save your brother.
So call yourself whatever you want, but that's all that really matters to me.
- KYM: Stand back, y'all.
- Hey! I'm about to put a bullet in Beth's jacked-up brainpan.
- She said you bailed on us.
- Definitely could've.
Ghostface offered me the chance to get out.
And that's when I put it all together.
Beth was the only one who knew I was shook enough to bounce.
But that ain't how a final girl rolls.
I came back for y'all instead.
I heard that fire alarm going off, and I found this on the ground.
I knew there was some realness going down.
Okay, well, there ain't no need for it no more.
- You can drop that thing.
- Nuh-uh.
It don't matter if it's a classic horror, a prequel, a sequel, a pre-boot, or a reboot, everybody knows the killer comes back for one last scare.
[BETH SCREAMS.]
[axe clangs.]
[SIGHS.]
[CHUCKLES.]
It was you the whole time.
Guess you're right.
We are partners.
[GRUNTS.]
Boom.
Final girl, y'all.
Underestimate at your own risk.
[POLICE SIRENS WAILING.]
Oh, damn, Deion, that looks bad.
You gonna be all right? You know me, Kym.
[GRUNTS.]
Nothing stops D-Day Elliot.
KYM: Oh! Oh, man.
Just be sure to put your hands up when we step outside.
It'd suck to make it through all this and then get popped by the cops.
[DEION GROANS.]
[POP MUSIC PLAYING.]
[CELL PHONE BUZZING.]
Hello? KYM: What you doing, answering your phone on the first ring? - Hey, Kym.
- Hold on.
We about to video chat.
What you got going on? Oh, you know, just moving into Georgia Tech.
You make it to California, yet? DEION: See for yourself.
- Damn, that for real? - [LAUGHS.]
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I made it, all right.
Some good stuff did come out of everything we've been through.
[CAR HORN HONKING.]
- Liv says hey.
- Tell her I say hey back.
Oh, man, is that D-Day? KYM: Boy, don't be crowding my phone like that! Deion, what's good, man? Everything, Hawkins, everything.
What the hell are you doing at GT? You couldn't get into that school if you had a map and all the keys.
I just wanna see what this whole Midtown thing was about.
Kym's gonna let me crash for a while.
KYM: No, I said, "We'll talk about it.
" Don't be getting no ideas, now.
So that's what we've been doing down in the Dirty.
Keeping Manny's dream alive best way we can.
Well, I expect regular updates.
- Talk soon.
- Love to your mama.
Bye.
SHERRY: We should get a move on.
Don't wanna be late for your orientation.
No, we ain't going nowhere until you get those feet of yours in this ocean.
- Come on.
- [SHERRY GIGGLES.]
You did it, boy.
You really did it.
No, we did it.
I'll never forget all you did for me, Mama, never.
All I ever wanted was to see your dreams come true.
Now that it is, it's like my own dreams have come true.
[LAUGHS.]
Nothing would ever be able to take that away from us.
- Yeah, not anymore.
- Not anymore.
You and Liv take a minute.
You've earned it.
[DEION CHUCKLES.]
DEION: What's up, baby? New coast, new life.
You sure you're ready for this? [SIGHS.]
Guess we'll figure it out.
Together.
Who are you and what have you done with Deion Elliot? It's a long story, that one.
Like, really long.
[CELL PHONE BUZZING.]
[POP MUSIC CONTINUES.]
