they're keeping from us,
and going to the future
is the only way to do that.
Griffin?
HARPER: The judge is out
to destroy our family.
-(Sarah screams)
-(vase shatters)
Come at me! (grunts, screams)
Always nice to have
the local sheriff as a friend.
GRIFFIN: Judge Walker invested
his own money,
then convinced his rich friends
to do it too.
HARPER: All so he could scam
them out of their savings.
GRIFFIN: Someone must have figured out
the judge was behind it all.
I'm gonna stop Judge Walker
once and for all.
HARPER:
Oh, Ruby, what have you done?
(tense music playing)
(light switch clicks)
Oh, sorry.
I didn't mean to scare you.
(chuckles)
What happened?
Uh, nothing. I-I was just
straightening up and it
fell.
(sighs)

to not worry anyone.

Now we know for sure.

(ominous music playing)
So, Daisy must have
covered up what Ruby did.
And no one ever found out
what really happened
to the judge here in 1947.
The paper just said
he disappeared.
I mean,
everyone in town must have
eventually assumed
he just ran off.
With their stolen money.
Uh, maybe that's why
the ghost is so angry,
because no one knows the truth
about how he died.
Sounds like unfinished
business to me.
Yeah, me too.
But how do we use that
information to get rid of him?
That's the next thing
to figure out.
(dramatic music playing)

It's a mistake. It has to be.
We saw it with our own eyes.

That means Griffin could
just have a few months,
or weeks,
or days.
Or it's already too late.
We can't think like that.

and some not-so-good news.

-(Griffin sighs)

SHERIFF: I'm sure he just had
business to tend to,
but thought I'd come by anyway,
ease the lady's mind.

Now's our chance.

who hurt the judge.

Not that the sheriff out there

(eerie music playing)

We have to get out of here!

It really is trapped in there.
But not forever.
We know the judge's ghost
gets out one day.

It's a long story.
So, it was the judge's wife
I sensed in the room last night.
She's the missing piece.
But it still doesn't
all fit together.
We should find this Mrs. Walker.
RUBY: Well, you're in luck.

They've gotta be related, right?
GRIFFIN: I don't see how

-(chandelier rattling)

She was at The Tremont,
and she's in trouble.
RUBY: Mama, I know you said
never to go back to that place,
but now it don't seem
like I have a choice.
