Good Witch (2015) s03e10 Episode Script
Not Getting Married Today, Part 2
1 - Previously on Good Witch - This is my sister.
Joanne.
I didn't come here for you to fix this, I came here because I wanted to see you.
As mother of the bride, I think it's best that I take over everything.
You said you never wanted to get married again.
I just know I don't want to risk that kind of failure.
(smooth jazzy music) (door chimes) Oh! Thank you.
Hello.
- Delivery.
- Oh, good morning.
- You ordered these.
- I did.
Thanks.
Did you want to order any more for the guest rooms - at Grey House? - These are perfect.
- Great! - (door chimes) Oh, you're that flower shop owner.
Did you get my message? Yes, I have already cancelled the order for the wedding.
No, no, don't cancel everything.
I'll have my florist contact you and I need you to work with her, piecing together some of your work into something more majestic.
Hm Well, I look forward to that phone call.
Elizabeth! - Can I help you find something? - Do you have any rooms available at Grey House for the next few nights? I've got my experts coming in for the festivities - and they need somewhere to stay.
- I'm afraid I don't.
I'm doing some painting there this week.
Well, that's poor timing.
Hm.
Well, I should have known to think ahead.
Oh, Elizabeth.
What are you doing here? Just another day of wedding planning.
You really should let Martha in on what you're thinking.
She knows a thing or two about making sure a wedding happens right on schedule.
Well, I suppose I could put you in charge of the wedding party gifts.
Oh, I'd be more than happy to help.
You know, I remember seeing a pen set in here that people would really like.
(light music) You do, though! - Hey.
- Hey! Um, what'd you put for the extra credit answer - on Mister Schick's quiz? - Washington, Jefferson, - Roosevelt, Lincoln.
- What did you put? - Um, I put The Beatles.
- Oh! Well, that should give you - a few points for creativity.
- That's exactly - what I was thinking.
- I'm gonna head home.
- I'll call you later? - Yeah.
- (hushed): Bye.
- (dog barking nearby) So, where's Courtney? - I don't know.
- Except you guys are - always together.
- And if she had her way, we'd be together even more.
Hey.
What's that supposed to mean? (hesitantly): I've been thinking maybe we should break up.
And does she know that's what you've been thinking about? I don't know.
I doubt it.
She's going to be really hurt.
- Is she? - Yeah, a lot.
Let me know when it happens.
That way I can be there for both of you after it does.
(soft, melancholy music) - Hey! - Oh, Hi! What are you doing? Just reading.
Hm.
- Is something wrong? - No! I'm gonna try that again; Do you wanna tell me what's wrong? Um (sigh) Your sister and I have been talking about, um how you never want to get married again.
Ah Hm.
- Mm-hm - (He sighs.
) - So, how come you never told me? - Didn't I? - Uh-uh.
- Cassie marriage was just something I was not any good at.
And (sigh) I don't wanna put somebody that I love so much through something that I'm probably just gonna mess up.
So you decided for both of us that it's not even a possibility.
Are we really looking that far into the future? No, we don't have to be, but well, it just, uh, makes things a little bit different, that's all.
I guess it does, yeah.
So, what do we do now? I don't know.
(soft cliffhanging music) (theme music) (light music) - How goes the wedding planning? - I don't know, we're just kind of hiding out here.
My mom's taken the reins, so we're sorta hanging on for the ride.
I was so happy when Vanessa told me she didn't want - a big fancy wedding.
- I'm just looking forward to the part where we get to say "I do", and then the being married part after that.
Well, I hope it ends up being a memorable day for everyone.
(light, ethereal music) (sighing): Aah - May I? - Oh! Sure.
These are interesting.
- Where are they from? - All over.
I keep coins in here from different countries I've been to.
They aren't worth much but they each have special meaning.
You can both take one if you want to toss them off the footbridge together.
- What footbridge? - Well, there's an old tradition where couples who are about to get married walk across the footbridge that goes over Eternity Creek, and you toss a coin into the stream below.
It's a way of bringing good luck and a long marriage.
By the time you get to the other side it's as if you've crossed over into your new life together.
Hm! This is the kind of thing everybody does in Middleton? I know, it's kind of corny.
I actually think it's nice.
Thanks.
You're welcome.
Hey, Mom, I thought you were working with Elizabeth.
- Oh, I am.
- That's why I'm here.
Ahem! Well, she set me up for a tuxedo fitting, so Are you gonna be wearing a tuxedo?! Yeah, I don't know how comfortable I'm gonna be - in one of those things, but - We're just trying to go along with whatever makes everybody happy.
- (Martha chuckles doubtfully) - See you later.
Yes, of course! (sighing): Aah Oh! Martha, are you still looking for wedding party gifts? No, Elizabeth took me off that duty.
And you're just gonna do what she says? I've decided to let the mother of the bride call the shots in order to keep the peace.
And honestly, if Michael and Vanessa get a wedding they remember, - it'll all be worth it.
- I'm sure they'll appreciate - your efforts.
- Hm.
Elizabeth has sent me on a new mission; to find the perfect reading for the ceremony.
You have anything in particular in mind? I really have no idea.
Maybe a poem? Or something else a little less common than what we so often hear, you know: "Love is patient, love is kind", whatever that's from.
Hm I don't think I have the right thing here but I'll look at my friend's bookstore and I'll make sure I bring it back to you in time for the wedding.
Oh, would you? Otherwise whoever's officiating is gonna be standing up there with nothing to say.
Hm.
Whoever's standing up there will have plenty to say.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't wait to hear it.
(light transition music) - Hey! - Hey.
- Is your phone off? - I don't think so.
- Oh.
I texted you.
- Oh, yeah, I I got those.
And you know there's a reply button on your phone, right? - Yeah.
Sorry.
- It's OK.
Um, so listen, there's something I want to talk about Oh wait, me too.
Uh Cindy Postma said that she's having a bunch of people over this weekend and she asked if we wanted to go.
Um Yeah! Sure.
Great! OK.
I'm gonna get something to eat.
You want anything? No thanks.
The valerian should help you sleep, so come back and see me when you've got some good rest.
Thank you.
- (cash register ring) - Oh, Joanne! - Hey, Cassie.
- Hi.
I was wondering if you had any more of that oat straw tea - you brought the other night? - Did it help with your energy? You know, it seemed to, a little bit.
I'm so glad.
You know, I have something else you should try.
- Yeah? - Yup.
It's Ashwagandha extract.
Here.
Yeah, it'll help boost the immune system and it'll slow down the degeneration of brain cells.
Good, because I can use all the help I can get - with what's up here.
- Ah.
Hey, um, Sam seemed kind of distracted when he came home last night.
You two OK? - We'll be fine.
- What happened? We just see life a little differently, that's all.
So where do you go from here? I have a friend in Chicago.
She has a book store and I go there a couple times a year to stock up.
She always has good things to say about what's going on in my life.
Then when's the next time you're gonna go see her? I was thinking about driving there sometime this week.
My bookshelves are getting a little low.
(little chuckles) Well, I hope you bring back some really interesting finds.
I always do.
Thanks for this.
Sure.
- Hey, Sam.
- Hey.
- Is your mother around? - No She didn't tell you she was leaving? No, we haven't really talked since last night.
Where did she go? (sound of sirens) Anyone tells you when you're wrong To lead to the tune - Thank you.
- You want as song - Welcome to the Windsor Arms.
- Always good to be here.
- So what brings you to Chicago? - Well, I need to do a little shopping and, um, I'm here to see a friend.
- How was your drive? - Good! I made it in 3 hours.
So you get In a car with all your plans You look down to see a stranger's hands Wherever you go go with all your heart - Olympia.
- Cassie! Oh! You made it right on time.
Yes, and it's so good to be here.
I've been picking out a few things that I thought might go well in your shop.
But of course, you can browse around for more.
Always a bit of a treasure hunt in here.
Well, then I hope you find some gold.
So how are things? How's Grace? - She has a boyfriend.
- Oh! Well then, - he's a lucky guy.
- Yes, he is.
And how are things with you and Sam? Good! Fine.
Just, last time we spoke, things were great.
Well, uh maybe we can talk about it, if you have time for tea.
I always have time to talk about your life.
- Let me grab my coat.
- OK.
- Oh! - Aw! (big sigh) - You find something you like? - Yeah, this one caught my eye.
Oh, yes.
Put it with the others and when we come back later you can pick even more.
- Perfect.
- Have you both spoken to my people back home? Yes, I've talked to your chef, and he's sending me a few things he'd like me - to prepare in advance.
- And I spoke with your florist who asked me to clear out my display cases to make room - for what she's going to bring.
- And Martha's been keeping track of everything else that needs to be done, doing so much more than any mother-of-the- groom should be expected to do.
Well, I just want our children to have a wedding - they'll remember.
- Have you spoken to Judge Tanner about getting here in time to officiate? Yes, I did, and he's arranging his flight.
You know, if you like, I can give him one of the orders of service from one of the many weddings I've performed.
Oh, he's probably got one memorized.
Thank you girls for being so much help.
But I suppose this is good practice for the day either of you get married, - hm? - Sure! Practice, yeah.
(light music) Oh, I just love coming here.
Hm, it's one of my favorite places, too.
But mostly because of the people I'm with when I'm here.
So, um you still haven't told me what's going on with you and Sam.
- Right, and I was - about to get to that.
Well, then, good thing I brought it up, huh? Hm Well Sam and I have been getting along really well Mm-hm.
And then, something happened? Hm.
We started talking about the future.
Ugh, I don't know why anybody talks about the future.
Because it's not like anything we say is gonna make what happens any different.
I know, which is why I hadn't been thinking about it very much.
But when we started talking, I found out that Sam has already decided how it's gonna be.
- And how it's not gonna be.
- Oh.
And that changed things more than I thought it would.
Cassie I know how you sometimes get feelings about things.
As if you think you know maybe what's going to happen next.
- Sometimes, a little bit - Uh-huh.
Well maybe this would be a good time to just let each moment come along, one at a time, without being so certain about the moments that come after that.
To just live in the present.
And you know what the best part of doing that is? When life finally does take place, you actually get to be surprised.
(little chuckle) So I spoke with your doctor and she's setting me up with the two specialists you've already seen, and I also have connections with a few experts of my own.
That's what I need, more experts to tell me - there's nothing they can do.
- (Sam sighs.
) I just want to make sure we're doing everything we can.
And help plan a course of treatment.
- Of course you do.
- What? Here we are plotting out the rest of my life and you're too afraid to even think about yours.
- Oh, I'm afraid now? - It just seems like this whole thing with Cassie is based more on the bad things that you think might happen rather than the good things that are actually - happening right now.
- It's much more complicated - than that, Joanne.
- Is it? Yeah! But it's something you couldn't understand because you've never been married.
(sighing): I'm sorry.
I didn't mean for that to come out that way.
- It's OK.
- No, I'm sorry.
Thanks.
You know, you've never asked me why I never got married.
I just figured it was something you didn't want.
I would have loved to, if it had happened.
And I mean, I guess, I never really looked that hard, but if I had found someone as right for me as Cassie is for you, I would have never let them get away.
So don't let Cassie get too far away from you.
(light melancholy music) I should get going.
Yeah.
You can head back inside, if you need to.
I don't, really.
No.
Hey! - Courtney! - I can give you guys a minute.
Uh, it's OK.
Um I'll talk to you later.
(hushed): Yeah.
I did not realize you two were so into each other.
Yeah So, did you talk to Nick? Yes.
We're gonna go to Cindy's this weekend.
- This weekend? - Mm-hm.
You and Noah should come too! Yeah, then we can all go together.
Yeah Wait, is that weird two friends dating two other friends? I guess, sort of (little chuckle) Oh! hey, Sam.
- Hey! - You going on a trip? - Just for one day.
- Where to? To find your mom.
(engine starting) (city hustle and bustle) Thanks.
(indistinct chatter) Welcome to the Windsor Arms.
Thanks.
I'm looking for someone who should be staying here.
Cassie Nightingale? I can give her a call for you, sir.
Great.
Actually, you know, don't.
I came all this way because I wanted to surprise her.
Do you have any rooms? I'll see what I have available.
Thank you.
Do you have a restaurant? - Second floor.
- Could you, uh, - check me in after I grab a bite? - I'll reserve a room - under the name? - Radford, please.
I'll check your bag for you, Mr.
Radford.
Thanks.
- - (elevator bell ringing) - I'm sorry.
- Mm-hm.
(elevator bell ringing) You said you were going to talk to her.
- I know, and I'm going to.
- When? - When I talk to her.
- Nick, the longer you wait the harder that it's going to be on Courtney.
So you need to talk with her now.
OK, will you just let me handle this, alright? - But you're not handling it.
- But I will.
(melancholy music) (sigh) (sound of cars) (elevator bell ringing) - Good morning, Mr.
Radford.
- We have some newspapers on the table over there.
You can help yourself.
Ah.
I will.
Thanks.
(phone ringing) (elevator bell ringing) (smooth music) Hello, Cassie.
Sam.
What are you doing in Chicago? (little chuckle) Hey.
(sighing): I just didn't want you to get too far away from me.
Look, Cassie, I know things are complicated - Sam, wait.
- (She sighs.
) We don't have to talk about the future so much.
I've been thinking about it, and I just want to let each moment come along and see what happens after that.
OK.
Can we at least talk about the rest of the day? - I came to spend it with you.
- Ha! I can't wait to see what surprises this day brings.
You know, there's someone I would love for you to meet, - since you're here.
- Lead the way.
Be happy to.
Oh, Hey! What can I getcha? I just have time for a muffin.
I'm so busy helping to get this wedding together.
I have to go back out to the venue later tonight so we can put all the final pieces in place.
Well, you can have whatever kind you like.
Oh.
Cassie mentioned that the zucchini ones were delicious.
- There you go.
- Oh! (little chuckle) What's this? - How did that get there? - It looks like some kind of Chinese coin.
Oh, maybe this will bring me good luck.
(little chuckles) I've got a delivery for Stephanie Borden.
Yeah! That's me! Wh what's all this? Twelve dozen live Maine lobsters.
Elizabeth's chef must have ordered them for the wedding.
But it's not for another couple of days.
So I hope you know how to keep these babies alive 'til then.
Plus, the other twelve dozen that I've got in the truck.
Well, how am I supposed to know if they're still alive? AAH!! - They're still alive.
- Uh-huh! Here we go.
(quiet chuckle) - You're Sam Radford.
- I am.
Cassie's told me everything about you.
Hm the good, the bad and the ugly? - Mostly the good.
- Mostly.
- This place is great.
- Yeah, we've got a little bit of everything in here.
There's a section of old medical books in the back.
I wonder if any of them has something to say about episodic ataxia.
Sam's sister was recently diagnosed with the disease.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear.
Oh, thanks.
She's not letting me do anything too modern for her, but maybe she'd be open to something like that.
A lot of old remedies still have - curative value.
- You can take a look - on the back shelf.
- I will.
Thanks.
(smooth jazzy music) So, he came to Chicago just to be with you? He didn't want me to get too far away.
I hope you return the favor.
I'm not going anywhere.
(horse snorting) - Who ordered this? - I had Martha do it.
We're going to be riding in a carriage? Elizabeth thought it would be something that Vanessa would like.
I've arranged for the coachman to pick you up in the center of town then transport you here - for the wedding at night.
- And I've spoken with them about having the waterfall lit up and synchronized to the live music that's going - to be playing.
- We don't need a horse and carriage and we don't need a dancing waterfall.
It's not about what we need, it's about showing my daughter - off to the world.
- After all, you do only get married once! Unless of course you're Kristen Malmine from high school, in which case the number is "four, and counting.
" Now, we can have the groomsmen and bridesmaids line up along here, and we will lay rose petals along the pathway and when you enter the hall the music will be playing OK, wait.
Michael and I didn't ask for any of this.
We wanted things to be simple.
But I'm only doing what any mother of the bride would do.
No, mom.
You're doing what you want to do, and it's all way too much.
I'm sure Elizabeth wouldn't mind if we cut down the band by a few members You can tell them not even to show up.
Because I don't want the wedding to be here at all.
But Vanessa, this is the nicest place in Middleton.
Well then, we'll have to find a whole different town.
Oh no, Michael, let's not be hasty.
No.
Vanessa and I, we can do this wherever, whenever we want.
But it doesn't have to do be now.
Oh, what So, that's it then?! Everything's off?! It looks that way.
Now we'll have to cancel it all.
Oh! You're back just in time.
Could you have somebody bring my bags down from my room? Uh Are you checking out? Well, there's no reason to stay now that the wedding is off.
- When did that happen? - Last night.
(sigh) Vanessa and Michael felt that Martha and I had gotten, um out of hand.
Maybe they just need a little time to be alone together as a couple.
Get on a path they want.
What do I do with myself while they do that? Hm You could enjoy some of the beauty that Middleton has to offer, because when are you ever going to be back here? I wasn't planning to, actually.
But this is rather nice.
Yeah, there's something about a footbridge that, when you see it, it just makes you wanna take the journey across it.
I suppose so There's an interesting one that goes over Eternity Creek.
It's not too far from here, if you wanted to take a walk.
That's not a bad idea.
I've been running around so much, planning a wedding that now isn't even going to happen and it might be nice to have some time to relax.
Hm - I'm gonna go get my jacket.
- (hushed): OK.
So, are we supposed to wish for something? We could wish for moms who don't always have to do things their way.
Or, maybe a unicorn, because that's just as much of a fantasy.
(chuckling): Yeah.
I sort of already got my wish.
- Me, too.
- So maybe we toss these things into the creek, for good luck.
You ready? One, two, three.
OK, Eternity Creek, do your thing.
Yeah, let's make this marriage last.
Michael? Mom, what are you doing here? Well, I was so upset about the wedding being called off and then I remembered the tradition of tossing a coin off this bridge, for luck.
And I happened to find this one at the Bistro so I thought I'd drop it in the creek in honor of both of you.
- It's very nice of you.
- Well, I just want - the two of you to be happy.
- My goodness, - this is a popular place.
- Elizabeth.
Mom.
I thought you were heading home.
I was.
But Cassie suggested that I might enjoy the scenery here.
And was she right? There's a simple beauty to it, yes.
This is the kind of place I'd like to come back to to remember the day Michael and I got married.
Whenever and wherever that is We'd like to get married at City Hall.
Tomorrow.
- Tomorrow?! - City Hall?! That's why we came to Middleton, that's - that's what we wanna do.
- But there isn't time - for a genuine wedding.
- Sure there is.
All we need is someone who can lead us in the vows and a place - for it to happen.
- You could still have a casual reception, if you'd like.
And maybe just a few simple decorations to make the ceremony even more memorable.
That'd probably be OK.
But where are we can we find somebody who can organize something like that so quickly? And get someone, last-minute, to officiate at the wedding? I'm sure we can find someone.
(music: Canon in D major from Pachelbel) (indistinct chatter) Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to join this man (with a sob): and this woman I thought I'd be able to make it through that but, ahem! - apparently not! - Mom, why don't you let us - say a few things first? - While I compose myself, - yes, good.
Good going.
- I'll start.
I just wanted to thank everybody for working so hard and putting this wedding together in so little time.
Abigail, the flowers are beautiful, and Stephanie, I hear you've done some amazing things with a few dozen lobsters.
(chuckles) Being here this week has made me wish I grew up in a place like this.
With people like you.
Because it already feels like home.
(touched expressions) Your turn.
(nice piano music) So, I wanna thank Elizabeth for inviting me into your family.
And there's one person that I'd like to thank most of all.
My mom.
She's had plenty of reasons to be embarrassed by me being her son.
But she's looked past every single one of them.
I'll always love you for that.
(touched "ooh's" and "aah's") - You ready? - Well, I was until you said that.
Ah! (sniveling): Enough, on with the show.
Now, before we get to the vows, I want to read you something that my friend, Cassie, found for me.
I don't know where she got it, but she always seems to come through with exactly the right thing.
"They're about to say, 'I do.
' "Three little letters "two little words.
"It's the simplest part of the day.
"But there's nothing simple about the things that will "remain unsaid.
'I do' means "'I do know I could be hurt, ' "but I'm ready to be healed with you.
.
"It means, 'I do want to try, "even when the fear of failure holds me back.
' "And, 'I do not know the future, but I'm "ready to be surprised along the way.
' "And 'I do' means 'I do want your love, "and I do give you mine, "and nothing we do will ever be the same because you and I will be doing it all together.
'" (sighing): And now, if the bride and groom will turn and face one another and take each other's hands we can move on to the part where they actually become husband and wife.
(light music) (indistinct happy chatter) Enjoy.
It really was a lovely ceremony, Martha.
And the reception is perfect.
I still can't believe you pulled everything off.
Well, this town knows a thing or two about getting things done at the last minute.
And I'm so glad that I had you as my helper.
Well, everything was very impressive.
And you and your husband raised a wonderful son.
We did? - Mm-hm.
- (sigh) Yes, we actually did.
Ah! Thank you for helping serve all this lobster - with your friends.
- Well, I haven't lived here long, but I know when the mayor comes to your door, tells you to do something, you don't ask why, - you just do it.
- (chuckling): I think you're going to survive in Middleton just fine.
- Have you told her yet? - No.
Will you just lay off?! - When are you going to? - When I get the chance.
Nick, this can't go on forever.
Courtney needs to know that you wanna break up with her.
What? Courtney Nick, is that true? Are Are you breaking up with me? Oh, my gosh, it is.
- Thanks a lot, Grace.
- Wait Hey Grace.
Keep rotating these around.
Oh, and tell Noah to come back as soon as he's empty.
(hushed): Yeah.
- Ah, no thanks.
- No thank you.
So, did, uh, you help out with all this? Oh, I tossed in a few spices, but Stephanie did most of the work.
Oh, well, I'm glad you got to be a part of it before you left.
- What time's your flight? - It's in a couple of hours.
I actually I have a cab coming in a few minutes.
Oh.
Well, um, I wanted to give you something before you leave.
Cassie took me to this bookstore in Chicago and it had a whole shelf of old medical books.
Sam, I'm not looking for more medical options that probably aren't going to help.
And right next to those books, I found this.
- (nice magical music) - Walden.
By Henry David Thoreau.
I remembered how much you liked it when you read it in high school.
It's my favorite book.
It's about letting life just happen.
I hope you still like it.
Hm! Thank you, Sam.
You just let me know if there's anything you want me to do.
I will.
And let me know when you're gonna come back.
I am going to be back, for sure.
Thank you.
Bye.
- Ah, hi.
- Hey.
Martha, there's a guy outside with a horse and carriage who said you hired him for a ride from here to Henderson's Mill.
Oh, my goodness, I completely forgot to cancel that! - What should I tell him to do? - I don't know, just gallop on home, I suppose! (and then loudly): Unless there's anyone here who would like to take a free ride! How would you feel about taking a trip through town with me? It would be a shame to let a good horse and carriage - go to waste - We call dibs! (Tom laughs gently.
) It's all yours.
(gentle romantic music) (barely audible conversation) And I think this is our stop.
- Yeah, looks like it.
- You want to take a look around? I hear this place is pretty romantic.
Ooh, we should probably find out.
- We really should.
- (little chuckle) - M'lady.
- Thank you.
Mm-hm.
- Thanks.
- I had my name - That was a nice wedding.
- It was.
Where did you find that reading, anyway? Oh, it was just in a book on a shelf somewhere.
- Ha! Just on a shelf somewhere.
- Uh-huh.
I wonder how many futures began in a place just like this.
Hm, yeah, There were probably a lot of very special moments.
I guess all it takes is for two people to decide, "I want to be with you tomorrow, and the day after that" And then, suddenly, they're living a lifetime together.
Maybe it is that simple.
Yeah.
Sometimes it is.
What if you and I decided to do the same thing? Well, as long as we're together tomorrow, then, that is perfect for me.
Except I'm talking about the tomorrow after that and all the rest of them.
What if we just decided that's how things are going to be? I mean forever, Cassie.
I mean for the rest of our lives.
Well, I wouldn't say no, if that's what you're asking.
Is that what you're asking, Sam? Oh, Sam Will you marry me? Yes.
Yeah, of course I will.
Ah - I love you.
- I love you, too.
And this love This love Is like nothing I have ever known Nothing like I've ever known Oh no, baby Take my hand, love - Thank you.
- I'm taking you home So (sigh) that was a night.
One of my favorites in a long time.
Well, you know, we need to tell Nick and Grace.
Yeah I guess our kids should be the first to know that their parents are going to be their parents.
(soft chuckles) - (As they both take breaths): - Well here we go.
Keep you in How could you just say that knowing Courtney - was standing right there? - I wouldn't have said anything, Nick, if you would have said something in the first place.
You mean if I had done things your way, because of how you always know what's best.
- I didn't say that.
- Except you think it all the time! Hey.
What's going on? Ask Nick.
Yeah, that way I don't have to be in the same room as him anymore.
Which is perfectly fine with me.
- Great.
- Grace Hm So, I guess negotiating the rules of this engagement might be - harder than we thought.
- Does that give you second thoughts? No second thoughts at all.
Me neither.
Well, then I guess we should put a ring on that finger so everybody knows it's for real.
Well then, I'll keep this space open just for you.
I'm taking you home
