The A-Team (1983) s03e16 Episode Script
Champ!
And just how much of this future champion do we own? And you go down in the Dixie Joe fight.
You go down, he collects a fortune and goes into the drug business.
Teach this clown some manners.
Hit it, B.
A.
[gun firing.]
We're gonna use ring psychology on this guy.
Shut up, fool! l know what l'm doing! [people cheering.]
Ten.
You're out.
You better hurry down here, or you're gonna miss all the fun.
(male narrator) In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit.
These men promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Los Angeles underground.
Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune.
If you have a problem, if no one else can help and if you can find them maybe you can hire the A-Team.
[gun firing.]
Our man trains here? Willie Riggs' place? And what's wrong with Willie Riggs' place? A lot of good fighters came out of there, you know.
Yeah.
Spider Kelsey, Hurricane Johnny Corso ''Glass Jaw'' Hendrix.
(Hannibal) B.
A.
, l never heard of those fighters.
(B.
A.
) Exactly.
Man trains nothing but losers.
(Face) l'm telling you, Hannibal, you gotta see this guy.
He's got it all.
He's got terrific hand speed, great reflexes and a chin.
A bulldozer couldn't knock this guy out.
And just how much of this future champion do we own? The other 40% is owned by a syndicate.
Trust me, Hannibal.
When you see Billy Marquette's left jab, you're gonna thank me.
He's gonna make us a fortune! Look, Face, we work hard for our money, man.
We don't wanna be investing our money in some boxer.
We should invest our money in something safe like gold.
Which happens to be falling on the London market at this very moment, thank you very much.
lf this guy is as good as Faceman says he is this could be mucho-gucho ravioli, pal.
And l can see it now.
The big fella, he moves in on Kid Marquette.
He's moving in and gets it with a hard right! A flurry of punches drives him up against the ropes! And an uppercut sends him down on the canvas! He's out! lt's nice to have one vote of confidence around here.
Smell that, B.
A.
? Can you smell it? How it hangs thick in the air? That is the scent of past glory of victory, and it's symbolized by guts determination and the will to win! Don't smell like nothing but sweat to me! (Willie) No.
You're not getting off quick enough! Use the jab, the jab, and then right with the hook! Come on! And don't let him counterpunch you! Come on! Get in there! We'd like to talk to Billy Marquette.
Yeah, who wants to know? Holy gee! Hey, fella, you wanna train? Hey, you take a punch and l get you a quick eight-rounder tomorrow night.
What do you say? Hey, sucker, you hard of hearing? The man asked you where's Billy Marquette? Try the locker room.
[grunting.]
You don't listen too good, do you, Billy? So now we gotta do things the hard way.
l never took a dive in my life.
You tell Monroe that.
[groaning.]
You're a real saint, aren't you? But like they say there's always a first time for everything.
[panting.]
And you go down in the Dixie Joe fight.
lt'd be a real shame if all of a sudden that cute little kid sister of yours, Tina happens to get into an accident because her brother was hard of hearing.
Know what l mean? [man chattering.]
[woman screaming.]
Billy! Are you okay? (Tina) Oh, God! Who are those guys? What guys? What are you talking about? Those guys who just drove off in the car.
Tina, drop it.
l think the lady's trying to help, pal.
The lady is my sister and it's none of your business.
lt is our business.
Face, are you telling me that this is our fighter? Yeah.
Oh, l mean he was outnumbered here.
This is the guy we got That's right.
Hi, how you doing? l'm Templeton Peck.
Well, actually, my friends call me Face, but.
[stammering.]
You wanna tell us why those guys down there were using you like a punching bag? Why don't you guys just leave, huh? Can't.
60%, remember? Well, sell out because it's a bad investment.
l don't know, Faceman, sounds like we might have a real problem here.
l want you on the next flight back home to Minnesota.
l've never seen him act like this.
Did you recognize any of the men that were in that car? No.
l really didn't get a good look at them.
My brother's been uptight lately, but l thought he was just nervous about the upcoming Dixie Joe fight.
lt's the biggest fight of Billy's career, but now this.
Man can't fight if he's in trouble.
He might get himself knocked out.
l don't know who you are, but my brother needs help.
You own a piece of his contract.
Maybe you can do something.
Well, she's got a point, Hannibal.
l mean, the first rule of good money management is always protect your investment.
Yeah.
l was just waiting at a stop sign and this guy rear-ended me.
l mean, l didn't even.
You don't think my insurance policy's gonna go up, do you? Oh, you got it? Go ahead.
Right.
Oh, thank you very much.
l really appreciate this.
Yeah.
Oh yeah.
l'll contact my insurance company right away.
You bet.
Thanks.
Three cherries.
Well, the car is registered to Ringside Enterprises owned and operated by a Sonny Monroe.
Sonny Monroe? He heads the syndicate that owns the other 40% of Billy's contract.
Well, isn't that interesting? You got any idea where Monroe hangs out? You can usually find him having lunch over at Dino's Clam Bar on Lincoln.
[[[singing gibberish.]
[in fake accent.]
Say everybody! Attention.
Clam man! Clam man! Here, get your clams! Hey! Somebody bring me some more of those cherrystone clams.
Hold the little necks! And bring me some ice.
What, are you crazy? Who are you? What are you doing? What am l doing? What does it look like l'm doing? l'm shucking clams, man! You ain't never seen that? You can't do that! What do you mean, l can't do that? Look at this, l need more ice! l got to have something else besides this stuff.
What's going on here? You know what l'm talking about, pal? What are you doing there? Get away from there! Get going, put this back, man! Give me this clams here.
What are you doing? Hey! Come back here with those! What are you doing there? [[[music playing.]
l didn't order clams.
l ordered calamari.
Calamari, right.
l'm a little concerned.
Maybe our fighter, Billy Marquette, didn't quite get the message.
He seems to be training a little too hard.
Hey, we got it across to him.
l typed it on his ribs, personally.
Maybe he should be reminded again.
Doesn't he have a sister? Yeah.
Maybe we should break her arm, huh? Just to make sure Billy boy knows we're not blowing smoke.
(Monroe) Okay, the coke's coming into Carrenza in the next few weeks.
The money we'll make from betting on the fight will cover all of it.
I just don't want nothin' to go wrong.
I wanna make sure the kid's gonna play along just like he's supposed to.
Let's hit his training camp this afternoon.
I mean, I do own 40% of him, right? Drugs and money, these guys are all the same.
Billy, you gotta let us help you.
And we're not just talking about your sister getting hurt we're talking about drugs coming onto the streets and a lot of people getting hurt.
lt's not just a matter of taking Monroe off the board.
lf we're gonna stop this drug deal first of all we have to find out when and where it's going down.
Billy, listen to them.
There's too much at stake here for you to try to take on Monroe alone.
Monroe's pressuring me to take a dive in the Dixie Joe fight.
He knows l'll be going in a heavy favorite.
So Monroe gets long odds, he lays down a bundle on Dixie Joe you go down, he collects a fortune and goes into the drug business.
Yeah.
A dive.
l mean, corrupting the noble and manly art of the jab.
That is the lowest thing l've ever heard of.
You got a plan, Hannibal? Of course l do.
And it's flawless.
Flawless.
Sure.
And Monroe's gotta come down here to watch Billy do a couple of rounds with a sparring partner, right? Right.
Well then all we have to do is show him how hard a jaw B.
A.
has.
[grunting.]
That's it, kid, that's it.
Keep the rhythm going.
Pace yourself.
You look great.
You're looking great, Billy.
Get your weight behind each punch.
Come on.
(Willie) Pace yourself.
[Billy grunting.]
Looking good, kid.
You keep this up, you'll make hamburger meat out of Dixie Joe.
Yeah.
You're right about one thing, Monroe.
My brother's gonna turn Dixie Joe into hash.
Who's he sparring with? Some new guy.
[both grunting.]
The guy's good.
Who is he? l don't know.
[groaning.]
What's wrong? l don't know.
l felt something pop.
l think it's broken.
Can you move your fingers? No.
Wait a minute, wait.
What's the matter? l think he busted his hand.
Somebody call an ambulance! Okay, get him inside.
lf that bum soured our deal here, kill him.
(Tina) Everything will work itself out.
(Billy) l don't know.
l wish l could be as sure as you are.
l wanna talk to your brother here.
Why don't you go out and powder your nose or something? Don't! l'll wait outside.
ls this some kind of cute trick? You think l wanted to bust my hand? How was l supposed to know hitting that guy will be like slamming my hand against a brick wall.
They say he killed a couple of guys in the ring down in Florida.
By the way he hits l can believe it.
l got too much riding on this fight.
l need you in that ring now! Well, l'm afraid that's out of the question.
Not with this hand.
Now, if you will.
[clears throat.]
As you can see, yes Mr.
Marquette has suffered a hairline fracture of the flexor pollicis metacarpal bone there.
See, you can just make out the fracture between the brevis diciti and the minimi radialis.
Now, l am sorry but, the human hand simply is not designed to come into contact with immovable objects.
Okay, so how long does it take for something like this pollis-- Flexor pollicis metacarpal.
Yeah, to heal? Well, l'd say at least six weeks.
Six weeks? l need him in the ring in a month! Well, l suggest you find yourself another pugilist.
Mr.
Marquette here must forego fisticuffs for at least six weeks and in my medical opinion l suggest, to be on the safe side, that you make it eight.
Now, if you gentlemen will excuse me, l have my rounds to make.
Get it? ''Rounds to make?'' [sighing.]
Well.
That guy you sparred with, what's his name? Volcano Johnson.
Johnson, yeah.
Who manages him? A guy named Jimmy Pearl.
You don't wanna mess with Jimmy Pearl.
He's into some real heavy action.
Oh, yeah? Hey, this ain't our car.
You Pearl? Yeah.
Sonny Monroe.
l think you and l gotta talk.
Well, we got nothing to talk about, chum.
l mean, look at that jacket.
l'd let you talk to my tailor but he likes a little class, you know what l mean? Let me tell you something, Jack.
Your boy here busted up my boy's hand.
He ain't gonna make the Dixie Joe fight.
l think maybe we can work something out with Johnson here.
Make us all rich.
Since l am already rich maybe you could get your chorus line out of our way before one of these ladies knocks you down.
You try to be nice to people and what do you get? Teach this clown some manners.
Thanks, fellas.
Now if l was you, l'd get rid of those three apes, you know.
They're strictly off the rack like their boss.
Here, have a cigar.
[chuckles.]
Please don't hurt me.
l didn't wanna do that.
l hate violence.
Jimmy made me do that.
Lighten up.
l wanna sign Volcano Johnson.
l figure a guy like Pearl's got to have a blindside and you're gonna tell me what it is.
Am l right? Huh? Yeah, right.
Good.
Now, tell me what it is.
[mumbling.]
Who? lt's a bookie named McGurdy.
He works out of the back of a grocery store over on Fifth and Main.
He's holding a lot of paper on Jimmy.
You see, Jimmy only holds onto Volcano because it gets him chicks and it gets his picture in the paper once in a while.
But Jimmy he's not a good manager.
lf l help you and you do take over Volcano's contract can l still, like, be the trainer? Because the big fella and l we go back a long way together.
Yeah, sure.
You're a good boy.
(Hannibal) How'd it go? l ratted on you, Jimmy.
l didn't want to do it but l did it.
And, like a pigeon flying home to roost, he's on his way.
[gun fires.]
All right! [sighing.]
l told Whispering Willie that l was gonna pay him back every cent l owed him with interest.
l mean, l swear to you on my sainted mother.
You gotta believe me! Whispering Willie.
l kind of like that.
[stuttering.]
You mean, Whispering Willie didn't send you? (Hannibal) Give that man a cigar.
You just picked up Jimmy Pearl's markers.
What'd you have, a hurricane come through here? We got raided.
lt happens a couple times a year.
You boys looking to lay down a little action? l hear you take a lot of action from a friend of mine, Jimmy Pearl.
No kidding? You know Jimmy Pearl? What a prince.
He always sends roses to my mother for her birthday.
(Monroe) Yeah, Jimmy's like that.
l wanna buy up all his markers.
l owe Jimmy one.
l want to return the favor.
That cover it? Sure.
But l don't know if l should do this.
l mean, after all-- Who am l to stop a guy from doing a favor for a friend? Have a good day.
Let's go.
(Murdock) Top drawer.
Ah! Nice.
Well, at least we got back the money we invested in our boxer.
Yeah, and l'm gonna make sure you don't invest it in nothing crazy again! Now l own Jimmy Pearl and his boxer.
[people chattering.]
This is a special combination of emollients and liniment oils together with the tenacious garlic root from Tanzania.
This will make your blood sing.
lt will make it come alive.
Yeah, just a little bit and then you knead, knead, knead chop, chop, chop, knead, knead, knead.
Hannibal, l hope this plan of yours works before this fool disconnects my back.
Doesn't a rat always come back for the cheese? And speaking of rats.
(Murdock) You feeling better, big guy? You feel those little itty-bitty capillaries starting to open up you feel those nerve endings starting to tingle because l can feel it.
l can feel it.
l can feel the tension flowing out of these sinewy slabs of muscle and they're turning, they're turning very soft they're turning into sponge like globs of jelly! Only thing turning into jelly is your brain! You know, you could be right.
Why don't you two go out and run a couple of miles? l wanna talk to your boss here.
Okay, big guy, let's slap some leather.
l gotta talk to security.
They let anybody in here.
You're a million laughs, you know that, Pearl? Laugh at that, pal.
That's right, they're your markers.
l bought them all up.
Ah, McGurdy would never sell you my markers.
Yeah, he's a real friend.
[sighing.]
Well so what if l don't pay up? You're gonna wrinkle my suit? You wouldn't be worth spit if l put out word on the street you didn't own up to your markers, Pearl.
You wouldn't want that, would you? [clearing throat.]
Well, ah, look l'm a little short on money right now.
l mean, give me a month.
We'll work something out.
No! l'm gonna tell you how we're gonna work this out.
Your man's gonna take Billy Marquette's place in the Dixie Joe fight.
And guess what? He doesn't have to worry about winning.
Oh! He's gonna take a dive, huh? Yeah but, if you're gonna bet on Dixie then my man's gotta come in the big favorite.
l mean you're gonna have to give him a great big build up.
Hey, we got some time.
We're gonna get him some quick fights.
By the way, your guy better be as good as everyone thinks or you both go swimming in a cement barrel.
Oh, by the way, l'll be expecting you out at my place.
Your man'll work out there till the fight.
Have a good day.
(Monroe) I'm telling you, don't worry the guy's a regular one-man wrecking crew.
The bookies are already giving eight-to-one odds on Volcano Johnson.
When he takes the dive l'll make a killing.
(Carrenza) Yeah, I know, I know.
But the way the papers are building up this guy, are you sure he'll go down? He'll go down, and l'll have my money.
Just make sure you have the coke.
(Carrenza) You'll get it.
Yeah.
[Murdock shouting.]
(Murdock) Go for the soft part.
Go for it, boy.
You're bigger then he is.
Go for it, man, go for it.
That's it, go.
Go for it, go for it, boy.
[B.
A.
grunting.]
Go for the soft part, boy.
Oh, my Gosh! (Murdock) l don't believe it! Just make sure when he climbs into the ring with Dixie Joe, he comes out second best.
Two minutes and 31 seconds of the first round.
We're humming we're moving, nothing can stop us now.
You got dynamite in those fists, kid.
And you're sleek as chrome steel.
You stick with old Murdock here and l'm gonna make you the next heavyweight champion of the world! lf l stick with you, l'll be as crazy as you is.
[exhaling.]
We gotta find out where Carrenza and the drugs are.
Well l don't think that a little birdie is gonna tell us, Colonel.
Oh, l don't know, Murdock.
lt depends upon the plumage of the bird.
Hello.
Hello.
Here.
Allow me.
Certainly.
Help yourself.
l never allow a really beautiful woman who's wet to get too dry.
l imagine being with Sonny Monroe is really exciting.
l suppose he takes you to all the hottest spots in town? [sighing.]
lf you call boxing arenas and dirty gyms hotspots, then whoopie.
l guess l am the lucky girl.
[sighs.]
l like a man with strong hands and strong brandy.
Help yourself.
[grunting.]
Hey, where's Pearl? l don't know.
You know, there was a time when he was the life of the party.
Yeah? Now all he thinks about is boxing.
Oh! He's gotten so paranoid lately he's been taping all his phone calls.
l mean, who wants to have their conversations recorded? l don't know, maybe he wants to write his memoirs or something but, hey maybe he wants to blackmail somebody.
Do you know that when Sonny and l first met he changed the combination of his safe to my measurements? lsn't that romantic? Yeah.
What's the matter, you get lost or something? Hi, pal.
That's private property.
Just don't forget it.
No, l was just scrubbing her back, you know.
Thirty eight twenty six thirty eight.
Nice.
Are you sure about the numbers? Hannibal, some people are connoisseurs of wine, some are into art.
Me? Need l say more? No.
[beeping.]
(Monroe) I'll leave a ticket for you at the gate.
(Carrenza) Hey, man, I don't like crowds.
I'm gonna watch the fight on cable TV.
You just have the money ready for the buy and I'll be at the warehouse just like we planned.
Yeah.
l got the phone number off those beeps on the tape.
Tracked down an address on Carrenza.
Get this he leases a warehouse in San Pedro.
That's where the drug buy is going down.
We'll meet Carrenza there after the fight see to it that he doesn't get lonely.
Right.
Okay, l'll see you there.
[birds chirping.]
[grunting.]
There, that should do it.
l'm still not quite sure how this is gonna work.
Oh, well, it's simple, really.
You see, we convince Carrenza that B.
A.
's gonna take the dive that way he'll still show up with the drugs.
Only Monroe won't be there to meet him with the money.
See, we'll be there instead.
(Face) l knew it.
Yeah.
See, we had a big wind over on Oxnard Street.
Yeah blew the cable down.
Half the block's got nothing but snow on their TV sets.
Okay, okay, but you guys can fix the thing, can't you? l gotta watch a fight tonight.
Oh! So you're a fight fan? Oh, yeah, sure.
Shouldn't be any problem here.
You see we we just make a little adjustment in the unit regulator and that usually does the trick.
You know, at least until the main repair crew gets here.
See, l'm just, kind of-- Just get it fixed, huh? Oh, yeah.
Sure.
Excuse me, sir.
Right now, we're running a special introductory offer for this month only.
lf you subscribe today, you can get two new movie channels-- Hey! My friend, how long is it gonna take you? Well, just finished.
Let's run a check on it, shall we? Yeah, it should work like a charm.
And there's no extra charge.
[television playing.]
Bingo! Perfect reception.
What did l tell you? Yeah, although l'd just adjust that color control.
The flesh tones look a little off.
[bell rings.]
Ladies and gentlemen this is the feature bout of the evening.
A 12 round main event presenting the big boys of boxing heavyweights.
[bell rings.]
Introducing to you on my left wearing green trunks and weighing in at 227 and a quarter pounds with a fine record of sixteen-three and one.
Fourteen knockouts in his 16 wins.
The fighting Irishman from Seattle, Washington Dixie Joe Mulligan! [crowd cheering.]
[bell rings.]
And his opponent on my right, in the opposite corner a substitute for the injured Billy Marquette.
He wears red trunks weighing in at 231 and a half pounds hailing from parts unknown the mysterious and awesome Volcano Johnson! [crowd cheering.]
(announcer) Instructions.
: low and lethal.
Now, l don't think you'll work up any sweat with this guy.
But Monroe thinks you're going for a dive.
So let's surprise him.
Yeah, really surprise him.
Here's what l want you to do.
First couple of a rounds l want you to soften him up with your jab.
Then work him hard against the ropes.
A little reverse-rope-a-dope, you know what l mean? But keep him off his bicycle.
We're gonna use ring psychology on this guy.
Shut up, fool! l know what l'm doing! l don't trust this guy.
Everything taken care of? Yeah.
l spiked his mouth-piece water.
That stuff will slow down an elephant.
[buzzing.]
By the end of the second round, he should be walking in his sleep.
[bell rings.]
There you go, everything's all hooked up.
(Tina) Face, you're amazing.
When this is over, l'm going to buy you the best dinner you've ever had.
There, cute, isn't he? [crowd cheering.]
[crowd applauding.]
[bell rings.]
[crowd clamoring.]
That jab, hold that jab.
Hold that glove up there! l l don't believe it! This guy's cleaning up on Dixie Joe! [people cheering.]
(Murdock) Play with him, boy! Play with him! [bell rings.]
[man whistling.]
[panting.]
You look good, B.
A.
The guy's a sucker for a right hook.
Yeah.
l'm gonna cut the ring off on him.
Make him work for it.
You're looking great.
[bell buzzing.]
You're looking real sharp.
As a matter of fact you're so good.
What do you say? After this fight, you and me on the dotted line, a contract, huh? [bell rings.]
[crowd cheering.]
[yelling.]
l think our friend down the street has seen enough, don't you? Mmm-hmm.
(Carrenza) Damn! What happened to the picture? And they told me they got this thing fixed this morning! (announcer) and Dixie Joe staggers Volcano Johnson with a hard right to the stomach! Johnson tries to cover up but Dixie Joe moves in with a flurry of combinations.
This is an incredible fight.
It's unbelievable It has turned completely around.
Dixie Joe's ripping combinations into the body of Johnson and Johnson is in trouble.
It's all Dixie Joe now.
Johnson is covering.
He's against the ropes.
[people cheering.]
(Murdock) Open up! Now's the time! [bell rings.]
[crowd cheering.]
You all right? He gave you a couple of hard shots in there.
[panting.]
lt's alright.
l'm okay.
He just got lucky.
Here you go.
That's it.
Here, take some of this water.
Now take a deep breath.
Relax.
[bell buzzing.]
Now, stoke up that old turbo charger and l want you to know that when you go back out there you ain't going out there alone.
l'm gonna be out there perched on your shoulder in spirit, rooting you on! [crowd cheering.]
Dixie Joe's killing him.
He'll go down any minute now.
Yeah.
(announcer) Dixie Joe moves in now he moves.
Oh, he scores with a looping lift.
He continues to move in and he connects with an uppercut this time.
[bell rings.]
Stop! [people cheering.]
[people applauding.]
B.
A.
, you're moving real slow.
You all right? l'm just trying to catch my breath.
[people hooting.]
[bell buzzing.]
[bell rings.]
(announcer) tries and tries to cover but Dixie Joe moves in with a flurry of combinations.
Gee, l don't know.
lt looks like B.
A.
's going for the dive.
[phone ringing.]
(Hannibal) Things are starting to unravel.
Starting to unravel? That's putting it mildly.
What's the matter with B.
A.
? This guy's using him for a punching bag.
So, now, you think that's bad? Let me tell you something.
Nobody's listening to your broadcast.
What? Monroe just got some company.
The dark haired guy skinny, in a white suit carrying a bag which, l don't think he's got boxing gloves in it.
Carrenza? That means he's gonna make the deal on the arena.
You better hurry down here or you're gonna miss all the fun.
Yeah, right.
l'm on my way.
[people cheering.]
He's been drugged somehow.
l don't know what it is.
Come on B.
A.
Shake it off.
l think it's all over.
Look, you gotta go into that ring and you gotta kick some butt because somewhere out there, there's a little kid.
A little kid who's got a picture of Volcano Johnson taped above his pillow.
And that little kid has gone to bed tonight believing that his hero is gonna win.
Now what's gonna happen when that little kid wakes up and finds out that his hero has lost.
That somebody has taken the fire out of Volcano Johnson? Just imagine that little kid's eyes glistening with little tiny tears.
(Hannibal) No.
lt's not gonna work, Murdock.
This calls for something drastic.
What about that aromatic stuff you made? Yeah, l got them right here.
This stuff will take the shine off chrome, Colonel.
No, we need something drastic here.
[bell buzzing.]
Come on B.
A.
, you can do it.
You yourself told me you don't know the meaning of those two little words ''give up''.
l'm counting on you the world's counting on you Howard Cossell's counting on you! (Hannibal) He's got his eyes open.
[bell rings.]
[people cheering.]
You told me you got this thing fixed! l told you it's been taken care of.
[people cheering.]
(referee) four, five, six (all) seven, eight, nine ten! You're out! [people cheering.]
[people applauding.]
[bell rings.]
Your attention, friends.
We have the time in two minutes and five seconds in round number five the winner by knockout Volcano Johnson! [people cheering.]
l want Pearl! [people cheering.]
Mr.
Monroe wants to see you, pal.
Yeah, l thought he might.
l'll see you in the locker room.
Well, Mr.
Monroe enjoy the fight, huh? You just bought yourself six feet of desert, wise guy.
Along with those two other clowns.
A little ice will work wonders.
Where's Hannibal? He's on his way down.
And l think he's bringing some of his friends.
Oh, great! What l don't put up with.
Here, would you hold this? There you go.
Out.
Bury them! Now, these little beauties should get you sleaze balls about 20 years each.
We owe you for everything.
Our lives, Billy's career, everything.
(Billy) That's right.
l mean sometimes it takes a hard head like me a little while to realize it, but a guy couldn't ask for a better bunch of managers.
Allow me to present you with 60% of your future that we signed over to you and your sister.
Now we made a good profit on selling Monroe our markers.
Monroe, incidentally, is currently sharing a cell with Carrenza.
That's great! Gee, thanks.
No more, now go on.
Thanks.
Hey, do you believe that? Thanks.
l've never seen anything like it.
l'm telling you, it was a great experience.
You were terrific champ! He never knew what hit him.
Don't you just love happy endings? And all because someone had the financial foresight to be bold, when others had no faith.
(Murdock) l knew you'd like it, Faceman.
That's why the A-Team has signed you to fight next Tuesday night.
Me? Uh-huh.
Fight? That's right, Face.
Middleweight.
You're fighting Butcher Murphy.
(Murdock) lt's just like you said, we're gonna make a fortune! And we have billed you as ''Dandy Dan'' Peckman, the ladies delight! Oh no, fellas, l can't.
Oh, Tuesday.
l gotta get a haircut on Tuesday.
l got a date with a lady analyst and we're having cocktails with the head of MGM at 5:00.
So-- Faceman you're gonna be there or else.
[stuttering.]
Yeah, well.
[Hannibal laughing.]
l love it when a plan comes together.
