Legacies (2018) s04e07 Episode Script
Someplace Far Away from All This Violence
1
WADE: End of the line, Miss.
We're coming up on Mystic Falls.
(SPEAKS INDISTINCTLY) You picked a heck of a time to visit.
Town's having itself a hanging tomorrow.
A schoolteacher's done murdered his students and burned up his school.
By high noon tomorrow, he's got a date with a noose.
- Not if I have anything to say about it.
Because I'm his daughter.
I'm sorry to hear that, Miss.
Don't be.
My father's innocent, and I'll prove it.
If you'd like to apologize for something, may I suggest your breath? (EXHALES) (FIRE CRACKLING) (WHIP CRACKS) MG: Weird around here with Hope being gone, and Dr.
Saltzman, and Lizzie being in the therapy box.
Not that most notice.
That's why they are not Squad material.
Speaking of which, do you want to train after class today? Sure.
Um How's Jo dealing? She wasn't in her room this morning.
We were supposed to have breakfast, but she didn't show.
I'm assuming she's in full spiral mode right now.
Hey.
I'm sorry I'm late.
I've been up all night reading my dad's old journals.
I found this entry My mom shut off her humanity at one point, too.
I think there might be some clue about how to turn Hope's humanity back on.
- Any luck? - Well, with my mom, it was all about how her mom had written a letter to her before she had died.
What was in the letter? I don't know because my mom burned it, but then Stefan Salvatore showed her a memory of what she had missed when she burned the letter, and the emotion from that was enough to turn her humanity back on.
So, we have to write her a letter and then burn it? No.
We need to get to Hope emotionally.
Remind her of her family, friends, that this is her home.
And then we need to find the right idea or feeling that's powerful enough to break through.
FINCH: It's got to be good and fast.
Every time we face off with her in the simulations, she kills us in like ten seconds.
We're probably only gonna have one chance.
It has to be the perfect idea.
You're thinking we're gonna need some inspiration.
So, you're really thinking that this tree can kill a Tribrid? No.
I'm certain it will.
What I'm less sure about is who I should share this information with.
Yet here you are, talking to me.
Keeping secrets has only ever brought me trouble, and I'd like to believe I can trust you, as well as our friends.
I don't think you can.
Why not? 'Cause, Cleo, we do dumb things all the damn time for what we think are good reasons, for the people we care about, kind of like me handing Hope over to Malivore to try and save you.
This is not the answer I wanted to hear.
Yeah, but you know it could be the right one.
Or else you'd be talking to the real me.
You are a manifestation of my subconscious, which merely means that I'm torn, but if I'm going to make a mistake, this time it will be trusting our friends, not deceiving them.
(SIGHS) Well, then let's hope that you're right and I'm wrong.
(SIGHS) KALEB: Here, monster, monster, monster.
(TWIG SNAPS) Damn it, Jed.
What the hell are you doing here? Following you, so I can ask you the same question.
And I'm guessing the answer has something to do with that "wrong number" from last night.
(SIGHS) You're smarter than you look, you know that? Thanks, but flattery will get you nowhere.
Someone dropped a dime that there may be a monster out here in these woods, so I decided to come take a look.
Malivore's dead, so our monster problem should be, too.
But, just in case whoever called wasn't sniffing glue, I'm coming with you.
No, you're not.
Would you rather I tell the Squad what you're up to? What makes you think I care? Or that they would? I don't know, maybe, uh, you being out here, putting yourself in danger to earn back their trust? - That's not what this is about.
- Cool.
What are we hunting? (SIGHS) An Argus.
Big, ugly, thousand eyes, hard to kill, harder to get the drop on.
Yeah, yeah.
Just wait till all those eyes get a look at you and your badass dragon powers.
(LAUGHS) ALARIC: They're calling me a monster.
Saying I butchered my own students and burned down my own school.
Hogwash.
You moved west to this godforsaken town to enlighten those same, uncivilized people.
So what really happened? I have done nothing but ask myself that question.
One minute, I was in the classroom teaching, and then the next, I'm covered in ash and blood, watching my dream go up in smoke, searching for your sister.
Father, you must remember.
Where is Josette? I don't know.
It's like there's a dark spot in my mind where that memory should be.
Elizabeth, what if they're right about me? What if I have gone mad and done something terrible? I'd hang you myself, but we both know that's not who you are, don't we? All I know is, I found this in what remained of the school.
Though I don't recall where this came from, either.
Then that's what I will discover.
Whoever this belongs to must have taken our sweet Jo.
And I will see them hang instead of you.
CLEO: We'll find Hope, but that is the future, and the key to unlocking her humanity lies in your past, so think back on the fondest memories you've shared.
I have an idea, but it's a lot.
You go first.
Mine will require some digging, and I'm uncertain if it will work.
Sorry, I don't really know Hope that well.
Same.
I mean, we flirted once, but I doubt she even remembers that.
It's cool.
You guys just leave this to those of us that know Hope best because I think I got something.
- (ALARM BLARING) - What is that? The magical alarm I put in my dad's weapon cabinet after Cleo tried to kill Hope that one time.
Super Squad assemble.
What are you doing here? At the moment, being preemptively annoyed by this conversation, but I was actually hoping to raid your father's weapons stash, which has obviously been emptied.
CLEO: I thought it prudent, given our history.
Why do you even need weapons? It's a long story.
I may have to kill some vampires and witches and werewolves, and this place is like a one-stop shop for pointy things.
Are you seriously threatening us? No.
I'm talking about the Triad.
But if you don't get me those weapons We'll give you anything that you need if you give us what we need first.
You are aware that I could kill you all, right? JOSIE: We know what you're capable of.
Just like you know that we'll do just about anything to get you back, so you might as well let us give you our best shot.
That is, unless, of course, you're too scared.
If I put up with this best shot, then will you finally give up on me? Or do I have to find that mother of yours who's never around? Kidding about that last part, sort of.
CLEO: We do not wish for anyone to get hurt, including you.
You have heard our terms.
Do you accept or not? All you have to do is listen.
To which one of you? Uh, to all of us.
I guess I have some time to kill before it's time to kill.
Let's begin.
(MICROPHONE FEEDBACK) - Dare I ask what's happening? - (APPLAUSE) (DRUMROLL) (AUDIENCE CHEERS, APPLAUDS) (LIVELY MUSIC PLAYING) This is Salvatore Idol.
If people are gonna start to sing, I'm gonna turn this into Survivor.
- (AUDIENCE GASPS) - Whoa.
Joking.
She's joking.
We did a covenant spell.
She can't hurt anyone during the show.
Physically, but I can hurt you emotionally.
Here's how it works ten stars representing ten of your friends who are going to perform for you.
And at the end of each round, you have to tell us how you feel, and the truth orb will keep you honest.
This contest is the dumbest thing that I've ever heard of.
(AUDIENCE GROANS) It's working.
Let the games begin.
- (AUDIENCE APPLAUDS) - (LIVELY MUSIC PLAYING) (EXHALES) When I first came to this school, I didn't really fit in with any of the factions, but I always really looked up to you, Hope, because you didn't care about fitting in.
You were unique.
And when I found out that I actually was a fairy Wayne, I'm gonna stop you right there because the only thing that I'm feeling is, um irritation bordering on homicidal rage.
(AUDIENCE SHOUTING) You know my name's Wade.
I also know that I was only nice to you because of Landon.
Why don't you go sprout some of your ridiculous wings and go back to Fern Gully or wherever you're from? I was wrong.
This is fun.
Next.
KALEB: What a mess.
You still think that monster problem died with Malivore, huh? Well, you said it has a thousand eyes, but you forgot to mention its teeth.
Why do you think it killed this guy? Girl? Person? 'Cause it's a monster, Jed.
That's just what monsters do.
We should probably bury them, whoever they are.
(SIGHS) There's no time for that now.
We got to find this thing and deal with it before it hurts anyone else.
There's a town on either end of these woods, so if the Argus gets out before we do Well, can it fly? Not to my knowledge.
Why? Because we can, which gives us an advantage.
- What? - It's Game of Thrones time, bro.
- What-what are you doing? - Come on, man.
- What are you doing? - Come on, man.
Pop those wings.
We'll get a bird's-eye view, be able to see even better than the Argus.
I came here to kill a monster, Jed, not become one.
(SIGHS) You know what? Let's, uh, let's just split up.
(BAG ZIPS UP) JOSIE: It's not going well, is it? FINCH: Let's just say it.
This feels less like a game show and more like a roast.
You're missing out on all the not-remotely-fun, but not for long, 'cause it's almost your turn.
I told MG I wanted to go last.
Like I said, almost your turn.
(SIGHS) Which clearly involves black magic? Dating a witch has taught me the difference between fun spell herbs and the scary ones hidden back here.
It's Cleo's inspiration.
I think bringing out my dark side might help turn Hope's humanity back on.
Dark Josie? Bad idea.
You're the one that helped me see that I can control her, at least for a little bit.
And if MG's plan is really going that bad, this is our only option.
There might be one more.
Ethan and I have been researching the whole "humanity switch" thing.
Turns out it's easier to reach a vampire's emotions if you can weaken them physically first.
Well, Hope doesn't get weak.
Unless we drain her blood.
That's not an option.
The slightest act of violence can break the covenant spell.
We do that, Hope can go full medieval on us.
- My plan has to work.
- So, what if it doesn't? We can't just let Hope walk out of here, knowing what she's capable of.
You just have to trust me.
I just need time.
(GAME SHOW MUSIC PLAYING) I'm not scared of you like everyone else.
You taught me how to kick monster butt, and you helped me with all my art projects, so I made this for you.
AUDIENCE: Aw.
Because you are my Salvatore Idol.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Excellent.
(SIGHS) Look, I know my humanity's off, but I'm not a monster.
Do you really want me to respond to that? Uh, maybe you should just tell me how you feel.
I feel like Pedro should have his fingers cut off and never make art again.
(APPLAUSE) Great job, Pedro.
Really.
Let's bring in the next contestant, please.
HOPE: You're wasting my time with these scrubs.
Pedro? Wade? Are you gonna bring out the A-team or what? - (APPLAUSE) - (GAME SHOW MUSIC PLAYING) (AUDIENCE GASPS) KALEB: I believe you're looking for me.
(SPURS JINGLING) And I believe you must be mistaken.
Perhaps if you could come closer, I could see who you are.
Name's Kaleb Hawkins, ma'am.
Best hired gun these parts have to offer.
Heard you're looking for such a man.
(SPITS) Been asking around town about a necklace.
The very one in question.
Does this crude bauble mean something to you? It means you ought to leave town.
That there is the mark of the Mikaelson Gang, and you don't want nothing to do with them.
I have no choice.
My father's life depends on it.
Sorry, little lady, but your pa's a dead man, and you'll be dead, too, if you ever cross paths with the likes of Hope Mikaelson.
I can pay you well.
Unless a man such as yourself lacks the stomach to track down a girl.
Hope Mikaelson's no mere girl, ma'am.
She's a monster.
Not an ounce of humanity in her.
It's said she even drinks the blood of her enemies.
- I trade in facts, not tall tales.
- (CHUCKLES) Does this miscreant also burn down schoolhouses and abscond with innocent women, such as my sister? She might indeed.
(BELL TOLLS) So I'm afraid I'll have to retract my offer.
One more step and I'll scream.
In my experience, ma'am, screaming don't do you no good with holes in your neck.
Much appreciated, but, you see I got one of my own.
Now, about that neck.
(GUNSHOT) Dad? Now, that's an insult, Elizabeth.
I'm your Uncle Ric, and I'm guessing my brother never told you about me.
HOPE: I can't believe what I'm seeing.
Since Landon's dead, I'm guessing that you're a golem made from my late boyfriend's remains? Illusion ring, actually.
I am not the real thing, but this letter is.
He left it behind for you, Hope.
"Dear Hope, if you're reading this, it means I'm dead, which, admittedly, sucks, but it's not all bad because that probably means you beat Malivore, which probably means you had to become the Tribrid, and I know you never wanted that, but it does mean you get to do what most of us only ever dream of.
You get to live forever.
Everything we talked about backpacking through Europe, hiking up the Pacific coast you now have all the time in the world to do those things.
I know you feel like you're alone, but you're not.
You have friends that love you.
People that will never give up on you, no matter what.
Don't pull away.
My wish is for you to have a long, happy life, Hope.
Do all the things I'll never get to.
And wherever you go, remember that I'll always love you.
Forever.
" I'm feeling something.
- Boredom.
- (AUDIENCE SHOUTS) Yeah, that's what I'm feeling.
Um It's Cleo, right? Fake Landons are kind of her thing.
I should thank you.
You pushed me to make the transition, but that also means that Landon's death is your fault.
If not for all your secrets, this could have all been avoided.
(AUDIENCE GROANS) Why don't we just skip to the end? Uh Ethan.
I'm gonna guess you were gonna use some hokey sports metaphor.
Jocks like you tend to find their identity in teams because you're completely unremarkable by yourself.
So, pass.
You're up, Finch, since Josie won't come out to play.
- She's on her way.
- Too bad.
Time's up.
You can take her place.
Josie taught you not to be a lone wolf, which is really just a cover for your codependency.
And as for you, MG, if Salvatore Idol were to be televised, you'd be canceled before the title card, so if this was your big idea, I give it zero stars.
See? Game over.
Now, where are my weapons? Wait.
Where are you going? After the Mikaelson Gang.
You heard what that monster said they're bound to have your sister.
Force of habit.
(CHUCKLES) My apologies.
What am I supposed to do with this? Pray that you never need to use it.
What I pray for is to find Josette, as it seems you do, but my head is a-cluttered with questions.
I didn't know that you existed a moment ago, much less who my assailant was.
Well, the last part's easy.
It was a vampire.
Well, if vampires are real and they in fact attacked the school, then why doesn't Father remember? Because becoming one grants them certain gifts.
They like to use them to hurt innocent people, like your father and sister, and my my Isobel.
Who was she? There are things about my past, it's best you don't know.
But know this I will find Josette, and I will kill those bloodsuckers.
This I swear to you.
My father will hang if you do not do so by noon tomorrow.
I can handle a firearm.
I'm going with you Like hell you are.
You're a soft girl raised by a soft man who loves books more than a fight, and it suits you, it truly does, but those bloodsuckers, they'd eat you alive.
Hyah.
HOPE: I can do this myself.
I have to show you where the weapons are.
Cleo dropped the illusion spell, so all yours.
That's not the only reason why you're here.
You're hoping to get in one last heartfelt, emotional plea, which is technically cheating.
I don't think it would work.
After watching you up there, I realized something about Jo's story she was telling us about her mom.
The thing that made Caroline turn her humanity back on was that letter she destroyed because it was something that she'd never get back.
Something she missed out on.
So, what, you thought that trotting around the parade of misfit toys would make me realize how much I missed them? This is your home, Hope.
These are the friends that you have spent years fighting for and bleeding with, and they're lost without you.
We all are.
There's a hole in the heart of this place, a void where you used to be.
If seeing that doesn't make you feel anything, there's nothing I can say that'd matter.
So, if you're really not coming back, so be it.
I'll just have to fill that void myself.
(SCOFFS) Pathetic.
- You want to save everybody - (BAG ZIPS) But you're just you're incapable of doing what needs to be done.
What if I don't go? What if I decide to go on a killing spree? You're the protector of the school, so what are you gonna do to stop me? I'm not fighting you.
Of course not, because you don't know what it means to be a leader.
It means getting your hands dirty.
It means putting a blade through the chest of somebody that you love.
This sword won't even kill me, and you still can't bring yourself to do it because you don't have what it takes.
Failed, like everybody else.
Happy trails.
JOSIE: Is he dead? Jo? I don't know.
I tried to drink it all, but his blood was bitter like him.
Josette.
What's become of you? Oh, something wonderful.
Thanks to Hope.
Hope Mikaelson is a wretch, and I came here to rescue you from her.
But I've already been saved, and I'm gonna save you.
Just close your eyes.
It'll be the best surprise.
I don't want to.
Well, then what you're about to see is gonna be a little scary, but don't worry, my sweet, swooning sister.
You're gonna wake up and feel so much better.
Your mind will be clear, and the world will be bright and bustling all around you, and we can discover every inch of it together.
We'll never need to be apart.
(GASPS) Why did you do that? Why did you make me go away? You were already gone.
HOPE: You're too late.
Speech time's over.
FINCH: I'm not here to give a speech.
I don't actually know you that well, which means I'm seeing things a little clearer.
What are you gonna do? Dissect me? I'm gonna do something Josie wouldn't.
Clever, but, you know, if you're trying to distract me from your partner that's sneaking up on me, you should know I have, like, really good hearing.
Especially because you're a mouth breather.
(GRUNTS, COUGHING) You know, if you wanted to put me to sleep, you could've just talked.
(SNARLING) (GRUNTING) Okay, which one of you wants to die first? JOSIE: Neither of them.
Why don't you pick on someone your own size? You.
Do your little blinky thing and get my girlfriend out of here.
The big kids need to chat.
HOPE: What took you so long? Performance anxiety? Well, I needed the proper motivation.
Oh, don't tell me it was what's-her-name being in danger that brought you out.
You've gone soft.
It's actually exactly what Josie needed to let me loose.
I'm here to put you down, minus the boxing ring, of course.
You up for a rematch? Absolutely.
Finally, someone around here gets it.
I mean, you being here proves my point.
When it's time to fight, Josie has to rely on her strong half, the half that's like me.
Oh, I'm not here to fight you.
I'm just here to snap my fingers.
You remember Jade, right? Former student.
Actually, a lot like you.
Headstrong, moody, questionable taste in men.
She was so scared of her trauma, she turned off her humanity, but I turned it back on.
Just like this.
(SNAPS FINGERS) (TWIG SNAPS) Hello? Mr.
Argus? (RUNNING FOOTSTEPS) (GROWLS) (DISTANT HOWL) Jed? Of course that dumbass found the monster before me.
(LOW GROWL) LIZZIE: This looks bad.
Now, you never mind that, Elizabeth.
You need to go.
Your sister Was a vampire.
I know.
Josette won't be coming.
I didn't think you had it in you.
That makes two of us.
I underestimated you.
You're more like me than I realized.
My Isobel, she was turned into a vampire, too.
So I roamed the plains, killing the monsters in her name.
But your father thought I'd gone mad and maybe he was right.
He's a smarter man than I, so he devoted his life to keeping you and your sister away from me.
Built you a home and a school.
Someplace far away from all this violence.
(GRUNTS) But sometimes violence is the only solution.
My father was wrong.
We need to kill Hope Mikaelson.
Well, you're gonna have to finish this one without me, kid.
But don't worry, I'm not gonna leave you all alone.
(CHUCKLES) It's not usually the company I'm used to keeping.
Who are Stefan and Damon? There's no time for that story.
What matters most is what's inside them.
Hope Mikaelson is no ordinary vampire, but nature always finds a loophole.
The bullets within will surely kill her dead.
What if I'm not as like you as you think? HOPE: Bad news.
Your little trick didn't work.
Oh, I figured it wouldn't.
You're basically an Original now, and even I don't have that kind of power.
I just wanted to see what would happen when I snapped my fingers.
See if I could see fear in your eyes.
I did.
I'm not afraid of anything.
(LAUGHS SOFTLY) Just checking.
Oh, I think it's broken.
JOSIE: But you do know the truth.
You're scared of your own humanity coming back.
Of feeling what it felt like when you killed Landon.
All that sadness.
Cling to your defense mechanism all you want, but when it crumbles (LAUGHS SOFTLY) and it will, you'll have an even bigger mess than what you had before.
Lecutio.
Mm.
Even the almighty Tribrid can't outrun her trauma forever.
Watch me.
KALEB: Stop looking at me like that, all right? I already know I'm pretty.
- (SNARLING) - (GRUNTING) Dragon skin, bro.
- Oh, damn.
- (SHRIEKING) Oh! - (ROARING) - Uh uh Oh, my God, it got in my mouth.
(ROARS) Jed, where the hell are you at, man? (ROARS) Holy crap.
Sorry we're late.
Who's "we"? Just some buddies I ran into.
(HOWLING) (GROWLS) - (WOLVES WHIMPERING) - Make that "former buddies.
" (GRUNTING) (ARGUS SCREECHES) I don't think it even felt that.
Then keep hacking till it does.
Screw that, man.
It's Dracarys time.
(SCREECHING) (WHOOPS, LAUGHS) Badass.
Yeah.
(HORSE NEIGHS) I take it you're Elizabeth.
And you must be Hope Mikaelson.
You're shorter than I thought.
I dug this grave far too large.
So long as it fits you.
Should we get right to it, then? My sister's dead because of you, my uncle's dead because of you, and my father may yet die because of you, so we have nothing to discuss.
You think you're faster than a vampire? We'll find out when you draw.
Ladies first.
I'm not a lady anymore.
(GROANS) You have a dark side, just like your sister.
I could use someone with that kind of grit.
So it's your choice.
Dead or alive.
I choose dead.
(GUNS COCK) (EXHALES) I'm a Tribrid.
You can't kill me.
There's always a loophole.
HOPE: Smart move.
But playing the weak, defenseless Josie card isn't gonna work, either.
Today proved to me more than ever that you're still reachable.
I haven't figured out how yet, but I will.
I could just kill all of you, and we never have to have this conversation again.
But you're not going to.
The same reason you didn't kill my dad.
And the same reason you left a warning so that we wouldn't come after you.
You don't want to kill us.
And your humanity is in there somewhere.
You're just never gonna stop trying to reach me, are you? You never gave up on me.
So, no.
I'm not gonna give up on you.
In that case Corporis impetus.
I'm just gonna have to figure out what to do with you.
(WOLVES HOWLING) JED: Enjoy the barbecued Argus, you ungrateful cowards.
(KALEB CHUCKLES) KALEB: Hey, man, I want to thank you for saving my ass back there.
You're welcome.
But we'd still be fighting that thing if it weren't for you.
But I know you didn't want to go full monster like that.
Had to be done.
Hope to never do it again.
Let's focus on burying this body here.
You know, I wasn't always this awesome at being a werewolf.
- Oh, you don't say? - I know, right? But the truth is, I really hated what I had to do to activate my curse.
Yeah, you, uh, you never told me about that.
The details aren't important, but for years after, it felt like I was walking around with a rock in my shoe.
And every day, I'd wake up and put the same shoes on, hoping the rock would be gone.
Until I realized I was the one who put the rock there in the first place.
So I was the only one who could pull it out.
So you're saying I need to change my shoes, huh? (CHUCKLES SOFTLY) You need to forgive yourself for what you did.
'Cause if you don't, no one else doing it will ever matter.
No matter how sweet those kicks are.
You're all right, Jed.
(RUSTLING) MG: You have a visitor.
And that visitor brought the real culprit to justice, so you're free to go.
Thanks for the hospitality, Sheriff.
Ma'am.
I found Jo.
Well, where is she? Oh, dear God.
A bandit by the name of Hope Mikaelson killed her.
And I killed Hope Mikaelson in return.
Then we need to catch the next train back east.
I never wanted this life for you.
I know.
There's no going back after what I've seen.
Hope's gang is still out there.
Elizabeth.
No amount of revenge is gonna bring your sister back.
It may not bring her back.
But at least she'll have justice in her name.
I didn't raise you like this.
Perhaps you should have.
Because my father, my real father was a vampire hunter once.
And trying to be a teacher is what put him in a coma.
And none of my friends are doing anything about it.
All they care about is finding a way to forgive Hope.
But I don't.
Not anymore.
Vindicta.
Landon told me about the letter he wrote when we were trapped in the darkness.
I thought if anything could break through to Hope, it would be his words, but I was wrong.
Look, the day's not a total wash.
You got an answer to a different question.
(LAUGHS SOFTLY) You were right.
I was hoping to find a moment to tell the Squad about the tree, but I no longer believe that is a good idea.
Because Headmaster Saltzman was right.
We do stupid things for the people we love.
If Finch and Ethan had known of the tree's existence when they confronted Hope, today's outcome would have been even worse.
Well, you know I'm just your subconscious.
Which means that you were right.
So keep your chin up, Cleo.
You're gonna figure this out.
FINCH: Who are you talking to? Oh, just myself.
Now please lie back down.
You're lucky to have survived your encounter with the Tribrid.
What about Jo? Where is she? ETHAN: You think Josie's okay in here? MG: Hope could've done an awful lot worse than trapping her in a therapy box.
Until we learn how to override the settings, it's probably the safest place for her.
But you almost got yourself killed today, E.
I had to do something.
Other than sit on the sidelines, which is clearly where you want to put me.
I mean, I understood that when I was human, but now? Having powers doesn't mean always using them.
And until you can learn that lesson, I'm sorry, it's just too big a risk.
MG, I came to this school to be a part of a team.
I don't have to be QB1.
Like, I'll carry the damn water bucket or-or learn whatever you want, but you got to teach me what that is.
Being a leader means making tough decisions.
Sometimes that means benching the star player.
(SCOFFS) And sometimes it means taking it upon yourself to make sure they're ready for the big game.
How's tomorrow for training? (LAUGHS SOFTLY) LIZZIE: Josie? This is awkward.
The exit room's supposed to be empty whenever you leave therapy.
What are you doing here? Hope came to the school while you were gone.
She trapped me in the therapy box.
Of course she did.
She didn't kill me.
Don't you get it? She's not too far gone.
Well, I will be, as soon as this stupid thing reboots.
But don't worry, Jo.
I know exactly how to fix Hope.
Meaning what? It's okay, Jo.
Your game's just beginning.
But mine's over, and I won.
Can't hold this back WOMAN: Hope Mikaelson.
We have to stop meeting like this.
No, we have to start meeting so I can kill you and the rest of Triad.
Oh, promises, promises.
Which one are you? Vampire, witch, werewolf? That would spoil the surprise.
Well, I hope it's better than that trap you had set up at the facility.
You know I have the bloodline records now, so, just a matter of time before I figure out who you really are.
I can't wait to meet you, Hope.
Promises, promises.
Can't hold this back.
