Doctor: I know this all sounds very scary, but I want you to know that, as cancers go, this is relatively treatable.
The therapies we have are highly effective Radiation and, if necessary, chemo And if we're early enough and a little bit lucky, we can knock this into remission in just a matter of months.
First, we have to stage the disease.
We need to locate any other tumors you have, partly through imaging, such as cat scans or mri.
Now, mostly these tests are not painful, and we can usually schedule them all for one day.
Preferably, we'd start within the week.
